Neo League 851 - #859: May Lee vs Vyle

Description: A cross-promotional Continental Wrestling Alliance and Neo-League match between May Lee and Vyle takes place as a special treat for the live audience! Good and evil squaring off in the middle of the ring! ( Draw Match )

Ladies and Gentlemen, welcome to the spectacle. The Main Event. The granddaddy of all events....this....is..../CWA RIOOOOOOOOT!!/

It's rare to freature a fight like this on the actual CWA card , to be honest. Usually, wrestling and mixed world fighting cards don't overlap much...but thaks to a few commercial partnerships between the Continental Wrestling Association and the Neo League for cross promotions, the taping for their main show features just such a thing. "It is our pleasure to announce a special bonus match tonight. CWA Riot proudly presents, in partnership with Masters Corp....the NEO LEAGUE!" the announcer bellows, cheers rolling through the crowd at being able to see something not even the home audiences would see (at least not on the televisied Riot show). Such cheers quickly turn ugly, however, when.....

o/`EVERYBODY (COME ON)! IF YOU WITH IT (COME ON)! IF YOU READY (COME ON)! IF YOU WANT IT (COME ON)! BRING IT ON (COME ON)! COME ALONG (COME ON)! S-T-Y L-E-S BEYOND (YOND YOND YOND...)!.... o/`

Many of the fans still remember THAT theme, and the purple and green strobing lights, and the boos that come only intensify as a man who hadn't taken a CWA stage in years appears, ripped leather jacket in purple and green stripes over his usual wrestling outfit. That's right....HE'S BAAAAAAAAAAAAACKKK!! "Introducing first, from Omaha, Nebraska, weighing in at 200 lbs, he is a former CWA Tag Team champion, returning to the CWA ring.....VYYYYYYYYYYYYYLEE!!" And for one night only...it's like nothing's changed, the venemous Luchador leaning over the sides of the ramp, jawing at the crowd and stirring up the animosity between him and them, playing it up like the heel he is right up to where he climbs on the apron and leaps over the ropes. Throwing off his jacket, he poses, both arms up in the air, letting the boos shower on him...oh, what a sweet feeling it is to be back to the ever familiar serenade...

May Lee has been in a number of roped rings by now, because the overlap between wrestling, boxing, and mixed style fighting is actually rather pronounced in certain ways. Events such as this one are not common, of course, but the aesthetics bleed between the various worlds. May Lee has even seen a few wrestling shows on TV; they do not hold the same place in her heart that her beloved tokusatsu does, but the stories of good and evil, the incredibly kinetic action, the bright and colourful costumes... there is a lot to love, even if there are no foam rubber monsters to be seen.

All the same, being in a wrestling arena, in a wrestling ring, fighting before wrestling fans... this is very new, and very strange.

Thankfully, though, May Lee is also very new, and very strange.

Just after Vyle's intro music cuts out, the arena's speakers are briefly silent before beginning to pipe out the bold, brassy and ostentatious strains of the opening theme to Kamen Rider, complete with a spirited Japanese man singing his heart out with a level of committment that the subject matter probably does not warrant.

Behind the curtain, May Lee is a little on the jumpy side, bouncing from foot to foot as she peeks out at the largely confused audience. The announcer is proclaiming, "And his opponent, from Southtown, Japan by way of Buyeo-gun, South Chungcheong Province, South Korea, weighing in at--at /some/ amount because she was indignant when asked to submit her weight; she represents the Kaphwan dojo, May! LEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!"

And May Lee is staying behind the curtain.

Seconds pass as the crowd's confusion mounts, and after doing a little quick chatting to the producers in back - one of whom is prodding and talking animatedly with May Lee - the announcer clears his throat and repeats:

"May! LEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!"

This time, she bursts from the curtains with a blush in her cheeks, and after running her eyes bewilderedly around the arena, she hesitantly raises a hand to wave around. A very big smile is pasted to her face, and it seems as if she'd be perfectly content to continue standing and waving before a hiss from beyond the curtain bids her to hurry to the ring.

She at least manages to hop in ably enough, mounting the stairs and vaulting over the ropes like someone who's done this kind of thing before. There's a little more waving once she's center ring, and then she approaches Vyle to hold a hand out towards him with her nervously broad smile remaining intact.

Meanwhile, sitting in a front row seat with popcorn and soda, is Katelynn Molina, who apparently has been taking time off from the fighting circuit. But tonight, here she is spectating tonight's fight. She's not rooting for anyone specific, but she is cheering either way.

The crowd seems a bit unsure how to react to this unfamiliar girl. After all, they tend to get coached a little on how to react so wrestlers, be it through personal mannerisms, theme music , or the announcers coloring the action through their descriptions. May Lee, however, is a complete unknown...the risks taken here bringing in this kind of fight into a carefully regulated wrestling production are embodied by her....

And yet, they give her the cheers anyways, if not quite as enthusiastic as they would a known star. They cheer, from her amiable attitude of course...but also from the fact that her opponent is someone who they know is loathesome enough that cheering for her is fundamental.

Vyle doesn't mind that...he lives for jeers as is, that's his lot in life and that's his job int he ring: to get booed while winning all the while. As it is, he simply walks around, giving a glare toward his opponent as she climbs into the ring. "...just where do you think you are, toots?" he asks (loud enough for the cameras of course) when the hand is extended out as if to shake. Narrowing eyes at her, he slaps away the hand, drawing even more jeers as he backs up, snorting at her with contempt as he backs up, arms extended out at his sides to provoke her as the bell sounds.

"A /fighting ring/," May Lee replies with eyes widened by shock. She stares down at the hand that's just been slapped away, starts to extend it again, then slowly pulls it back to herself to pocket. "Are you sure you--are you /really/--" she begins to say before frowning to herself as she goes ahead and fills in the blanks for herself.

"Okay..."

She draws in a deep breath, raises her right leg, then stomps it resoundingly to the canvas as she adopts a fighting stands. Her right hand exits her pocket in a flash to be pointed imperiously towards Vyle, and her every muscle tenses in readiness.

"Then it's up to me to teach you the meaning of good sportsmanship! In the name of the Kaphwan Dojo--in the name of /Justice/!" is exclaimed with all the fire she can muster, and then her arm is dropped as she darts towards Vyle. If she draws near enough, it'll be brought up one more time to be swung towards his neck and shoulders powerfully.

"Lariato!"

The cheers come as May Lee goes in big, and in appropriate style too, not quite expecting a pure wrestling manuever from her like the good ol' lariat. The match is underway indeed!

Too bad Vyle was able to spot it coming. Aside from the boisterous announcement of the manuever, he seems to see it telegraphed, ducking his head underneath the swinging arm before it can collide with his neck and chest. An arm sneaks up, slithered underneath the armpit of that attacking limb and reaching out to grab at Maylee's opposite shoulder to stem her momentum forward. "This is wrestling, kid."

His other arm comes around from behind the Korean Heroine, grabbing her leg, and lifting her up by that grasp. Pulled into the air, May Lee finds herself held up as Vyle turns with the weight and momentum....before an extra loud "HIIAAAHHH!!!" (for effect you know) as he drops to a sitting position, and pulls at her body to do the same. Straight on her tailbone, one might add, with an extra jaw-jarring on his shoulder for added effect. "Sportsmanship went out in the 80s..."

It would be a little unsightly to nurse anything more than her jaw just now, so May Lee cups it with a grimace as she shakes the dazedness free from herself with quick movements of her head. She also reaches up to gently adjust her goggles so that they're properly seated atop her head, and once they are she rolls back to do a quick hand-spring to her feet.

"There's /always/ a place for sportsmanship!" she indignantly proclaims once she's brought her hands up into a defensive posture. Rather than leap immediately to the attack, she hangs back and bounces from foot to foot, watching the dark luchador for the moment to try and get a feel for his mannerisms.

Vyle snorts. Someone's obviously been living in the 'prayer and vitamins' era a bit too much...at least, that's his take on it. Never did much get the chance to do the Japanese circuit himself, so he can't comment on how they do things there. Here?...it's all about force, and telling a story in the ring. And the story right now? Vyle trying to school a newcomer in the intricacies of the wrestling ring.

That's the idea, at least, and that's what seems to be on his mind as he turns, bounding himself back against the ropes, and slinging forward with a slingshot toward Maylee. His aim? Use all that momentum to wrap her up and send her flying the other way with a big ol' spinning headscissors.

If nothing else, once May Lee has misjudged Vyle's approach and gotten herself thrown across the ring, she does a good job of rolling along it and even springing to her feet to lean against the ropes that she winds up near. For now, she has every intention of just kind of staying there to catch her breath and regain her balance, because being thrown around with that level of unexpectedness is dizzying, to say the very least.

However, Vyle isn't about to let go of an advantage while he's got it. After pitching Maylee across the ring like that, and with her body caught against the ropes, he sees the perfect opportunity. He already hears the disapproval of the crowd...time to bring that up a notch.

Rushing in while May lee tries to catch her breath, he reaches over the top rope, trying to grab her arm, and turn it over so the crook of her elbow is caught around it. With that, he'd grab her wrist and pull up, trying to twist her arm about the rope and do some serious wrenching. And perhaps some real damage too. Hey, this IS a Neo League battle, after all. Real fight with real consequence, don't ya know.

For a brief time, it seems as if Vyle's grip is implacable, but then May Lee finds the strength to free herself by thrusting the heel of her palm against the luchador's chest to help her in pushing free. She rolls backwards once they have separated, and then she springs into an acrobatic twisting backflip.

"Henshin!" is shouted with passion as chi flares along the surface of her belt.

As she hangs upside down for a split-second, her scarf slips out from beneath her shirt collar, and borne on a soft breeze that suddenly wafts through the arena, it is set fluttering all about her by the time she lands. Her right hand is out to make a quick beckoning motion towards Vyle as her left is held up near her head; her lips are turned up into a broad, confident smile in spite of having yet to land a hit.

She dashes across the ring to try rectifying that in stylish fashion, and once she reaches the top rope, she springs onto it, runs a step or two /along/ it, then leaps free, spinning in the air to try striking the back of Vyle's head with the toe of her sneaker.

The crowd lets out a surprised call as May Lee is able to push her way out of Vyle's rope hold before it can do much damage. With the space she makes between them, she does something that surprises the crowd even more....

With the sudden Henshin, the crowd goes silent...before a cheer at the almost cocky beckoning gesture comes, as if taunting the experienced wrestler in his familiar ring. That definitely won her points with the picky wrestling crowd, and the rope run enzuigiri only sets hem even further on fire. The fact that Vyle is able to turn and get an arm in the way doesn't mute the reaction that much, even if it saves him from serious damage.

That's because for the sake of crowd, he sells the attack, dropping to a knee and looking like he's about to fall over. "KKkh....so you think that'll be enough?" he asks, sneering, a sign for May Lee, and her alone, to let her know the attack wasn't quite so effective as it seems. Giving a good second or two to let the effect on the crowd go, Vyle suddenly shoots up, trying to come face to face with May Lee and let out something the crowd should know VERY well. After all, it's the very thing that got him banned from it as a pro wrestler: The green mist. The POISON mist. In other words...a mouth full of Venom Breath, sent right toward the Korean Heroine's face.

It even stings when the mist coats May Lee's arms -- having watched /mostly/ Japanese wrestling, the sudden proximity is familiar enough to her that she knows better than to leave her face exposed.

"That's /cheating/!" she hisses in shock and indignation once her arms, now splattered with green are dropped. "You'll pay for that!" If May Lee is at all aware that she should sell any of this, she certainly doesn't show it; Vyle may be approaching the fight as a hybrid of sorts, but it's all a routine Neo League event in a less than routine surrounding so far as the heroine is concerned. Thus, there's little hesitation before brings her left hand high and cries out, "Choooooppu!"

... and then lashes out with the edge of her right towards the center of Vyle's chest.

He certainly isn't expecting her to sell the moves...but Vyle figures there might be a psychological advantage to doing it himself. Not to mention get a little crowd volume going. Still, his expression is transparent when he sees the spray caught on her arms, rather than her face. "Nnh..." Gritting his teeth, he straightens up, watching that dramatically announced chop coming down.

Rather than take the shot, however, his arm comes up, bracing and catching her forarm on his own. The momentum is enough that the chop still goes through, however blunted, and Vyle stumbles back, clutching his chest to the roar of the crowd. "Khhhhh....hear that....they think you're winning....how's it feel to know how heart broken they'll be when they realize you're not?" he asks, trying not to laugh through his faked grimace.

Lurched low, still gripping his chest, he makes for anouther slingshot off the ropes. legs come into play again...but this time, he aims lower, a drop kick straight toward the knees sent out. For the crowd, it looks like desperation. For Vyle...he's just trying to get her on her knees.

"You'll /still/ be a liar, and a cheater, and I'll /still/ be--" May Lee begins to reply before finding herself dropped unexpectedly to her hands and knees. She grimaces painfully as she takes the time to try and catch her breath somewhat, the expression not lasting long before her smile returns.

"You can fake... all you want... but even if I lose..." she exhales between pants, chi again flaring against not only her belt bot off of the edges of her shades, "... so do you!"

She surges suddenly to her feet with that, fingers curled to grab for the elusive luchador. "The respect of the people!" She, if her grip has been gotten, pulls her right leg up to wedge it against Vyle's stomach, and then she finishes, "The /trust/ of the people you could have as fans!" before thrusting her leg out powerfully in the hopes of rocketing the luchador out through the ring ropes.

Snorting, Vyle rolls up to his feet after his drop kick, getting ready for a follow up before May Lee gets up to her feet. He's nto so fast for that though, her arms reaching out to grapple with him before he can get too far. "You don't understand...they ARE my fans...love to hate, and all that. THat's what a heel does..."

He's slippery though, tucking into a roll and moving past, underneath the grabbing arms. "I'm doing my job here better than you are...what does that say, 'Hero'?" he asks, sneering before he tries to snap his arms around her head and neck from behind, for a classic Sleeper Spot....the only difference here being that Vyle really DOES try to clamp down on her carotid artery and the oxygen it supplies.

"As long--as your job is /cheating/--" May Lee begins before feeling Vyle's encroaching arms. This time, she's a bit more ready and responds by wedging her right arm up in between Vyle's to block them from getting any real traction. "--and mine is being a hero--it means I can look at myself in the mirror every morning!"

She then wrenches down at the same time that she leaps up to try wrapping her legs tightly around the elbow to put pressure on the joint, and if she gets him down as she desires, she will wrench it painfully for but a moment with the strength of her legs before releasing and breaking free with a cartwheel executed over his body.

The crowd pops for the stopped sleeper, half chanting May Lee's name, the other half chanting "VYLE SUCKS!", and both halves in full support of the Tokusatsu-inspired fighter. While Vyle doesn't seem to be perturbed by it...his own assurances seem to be having way too much of a positive effect on May Lee's resolve. That's what he gets for pouring on the industry talk, rather than the insults. And when she turns herself in to lock him in an armbar, the rudo just goes with it, a shout of pain as she wrenches back...and just releases it with a backflip away. "Nhhh...rookie mistake..." he hisses, gritting his teeth, and charging in. While he sells the arm, he tries to sweep up May Lee other, hoping to sweep her with a single leg take down and bring her face down. With what in mind, though? A good ol' knee stomp, with heel tucked into the crook of said knee. Classic heel attack, after all, right?...and definitely painful when done for real.

An agile hop spares May Lee an undesireable takedown, and as soon as she regains her footing she tries to take advantage of Vyle having lowered himself before her by trying to get her right arm cinched firmly around his head. She then throws her left hand up with a victory sign before jumping slightly and throwing herself to her back to try and drive Vyle head-first into the canvas. Once more, if successful, she will roll away and stand up into the relaxed, laid back stance that she is accustomed to adopting at times like this.

Unfortuantely for Vyle, he seemed to not expect May Lee to hop so easily over his single leg take down. And before he can even try anything, he has his head locked in by her right arm. "Gkhhh...." And in a move impressive by any standards, she pulls off a picture perfect Russian Leg Sweep, the luchadore finding the back of his head crashing into the ground.

Clutching his head in pain, he rolls out onto the canvas. This is starting to get a tad ridiculous....and in all honest, the rudo is quite pissed now. "Alright....no more games..." he hisses, pulling himself up to his feet again by the ropes. Reeling back, pulling on the top rope like a rubber band, he leaps up, feet catching at the top and bouncing off the rope right toward May Lee. Legs brought up, they pound out with repeated aerial stomps, trying to drive his feet straight into her head and shoulders.

And then: "LAAAAAARIATOOOO!"

Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice...you win? Wait, what? That's not how it goes!!!

But that's what happens it seems. Vyle is off and back after his kicks are blocked, gritting his teeth annoyedly as he falls back to his feet. Narrowing his eyes, he sees May Lee go for that good ol' lariat again. "Again?" he sneers, readying himself to really punish May Lee for it this time.

Unfortunately, his timing seems off, and before he can spin back for his kick, the one setting up for the real pain...he finds the lariat crashing into him around the side of the neck, waylaying him down into the canvas, much to the delight of the crowd. Cheers roll over the arena as Vyle finds himself on the ground, dazed, confused, and in much pain at the massive Hero Lariat.

May Lee's right arm thrusts up into the air as Vyle crumples, and invisibly she is drawing on her massive will to generate fire chi in threads that try to knot themselves around Vyle without shape, substance or texture. A little flare of white chi flashes along her palm and fingertips as she makes these preparations, and then she draws in a breath and runs... away from Vyle.

As if it's the most natural thing in the world, she mounts the top turnbuckle by using each of the three like the rungs of a step ladder, and the moment her feet touch the top, she launches herself from it in a series of tight mid-air rolls.

"Rider!" is shouted as the arena lights highlight her spinning form and madly twisting, almost cape-like scarf; being that chi is driving her internally to move in ways that no normal person /should/, the crowd is no doubt silent as she flips and flips and flips some more through the air.

And then she reaches the apex of her jump, where she hangs with her arms abovehead and her legs pulled up against her chest. Her pearly white teeth are easily visible in her grin, and after a few camera flashes from here and there, the seemingly endless moment of aerial stillness is broken with a spirited cry of, "KIIIIIIIIIIIIIIICK!"

Like a little Korean dart, she falls towards Vyle with the point of her right foot aimed towards his reeling form. She is a blur of whites and blues with a terrifically long red contrail all the way down, and should she strike, she will land beside Vyle with her right hand against raised above head. This time, however, she'll circle it slowly around her torso, drawing those invisible threads of chi tight before finally igniting them in a massive blossom of fire all across the dark luchador's body with an inward snap of her hand to press it against her chest and a cry of, "Bakusai!"

Ok....check list here.

Head spinning? Check. Vision blurred? Check. Neck hurting? Check. Body not responding properly? Check. Ok, yeah, Vyle just got the crap knocked out of him by that lariat, he's sure of it now. And it's only the sudden flash of Chi that seems to stir him up out of desperation. "The...hell..." THe crowd, while not exactly in the dark about chi, apparently doesn't see it as much as your usual tournament crowd, gasps of awe as May Lee is enveloped in it.

And then, when she's at the turnbuckle? They ROAR. They like what they see, and they want to see BLOOD from this attack (metaphorically speaking....mostly). Flashbulbs go off at the dynamic presence, and even more dynamic attack as May Lee flies off the turnbuckle, sending out her Rider Kick straight toward Vyle.

It's only too bad that the heel broke to the outside before she could hit, crawling off on the outside mats to huge jeers, this time not intentionally drawn upon him. Pulling himself to his feet byt he railing protecting the crowd, he huffs, glaring toward his opponent as he gets his breath. He was LUCKY that time...and he knows it. He can't screw up any more if he wants this win....

May Lee is rather on the tired side after that; confused, too, because it isn't every day that people roll away from her beneath ring ropes. Her scarf's fluttering comes to a stop and her smile slips somewhat as she sort of follows suit in catching her breath by leaning briefly against the ropes; unlike Vyle, however, she's still looking towards playing aggressively, and so once she's taken a few breaths she grabs the ropes, pulls back at them, and sling-shots herself over the top.

She means to do nothing more complicated than simply land on top of the dark luchador with her arms and legs out to the sides and her entire torso readied as the plane of attack. In reality, it's kind of an awful mode of offense, but in this particular situation... she can't help it. She just hopes to herself that Master Kim doesn't get the chance to see it.

The poisonous rudo is still draped over the railing, catching his breath, when May Lee flies over the top rope with her improvised slingshot plancha. It's a good thing that he had the time to get his wits though, as when she flies in, he's able to get his arms in to catch her. It's not without the drawbacks, being barreled back first into the railing again by the attack...but better braced for it than not.

"You know....nnn....I think it's time...this ended..." he grunts, unable to keep hold of her and dropping May Lee down. But it's for the better anyways...as with his back to the railing, he's able to push off with freed hands to shoot forward toward her and thrust out an ill-green glowing hand, stabbing forward with it like it was a spear straight for the middle of her chest. And with her between Vyle and the turnbuckle post...well, no telling just what might happen if she can't get away in time.

Once again, May Lee tries to intercept Vyle, and once again, she is too late; this time, she is wedged painfully against the turnbuckle post and a cry of pain is brought forth as she writhes beneath the hand that strikes dead center against her chest. About the best that she can do is roughly push Vyle away from herself before staggering away to clutch at the impact point in shock.

A gasp of the crowd as Vyle pins May Lee up against the post with that vicious thrust attack, followed by chants of her name, trying to stir her up for a comeback upon comebacks. The rudo won't have any of that though. "SHUT UP!" he shouts to the crowd closest to him, swiping the air as if trying to knock them away before he reaches for May Lee again.

Knowing she's in a bad state at this point, he simply tries to pile on and aggrivate her damage, grabbing for her arm and head and pulling. "Nnn!!!" With a quick fling, he aims her toard the railing again, this time to throw her straight into it head first.

Lightning chi dances along the bars of the railing as May Lee painstakingly pulls herself up against it with a grimace. she is bleeding from her nose due to the impact, but she regains her feet regardless, and once there the lightning skips from the rail to course along the muscles of her arms.

"Those--those people just want a hero--a /real/ hero..." she says between pained breaths. Her grimace rather quickly transmutes into a smile towards the end as well, and then after adding, "Don't yell at them because you aren't it!" she bursts into action.

A deft leap upwards puts her feet onto the railing, and then she dives from it on a direct path towards Vyle. Her arms, by then, are wholly obscured by the crackling lightning, and she seeks to drive her right hand /through/ the luchador to transfer that energy right through his body.

"Lightning Blow!"

Glancing Blow

The lightning prompts the wary crowd near the action to pull away from the rail...but when it gathers on her arms instead, it simply prompts the cheers for her louder, shouts of "MAY LEE!!" echoing through the whole building almost loud enough to make it rumble.

And Vyle?....well, he's realizing she's going to be a lot tougher to put down than he wishes. "Hell..." he curses, diving back into the ring as the strike flies toward him. To his credit, he avoids it...mostly. The shot manages to clip his legs as he rolled in, a curse of pain from the luchador as he hobbles and pulls himself into one of the corners with grit teeth. "No one's a hero in this ring, kid...just play 'em on TV....you know the faces are uusually the biggest..nn...jerks in real life." Not counting himself, of course, but he's not just jawing for the hell of it, not this time. He's buying time...perhaps provoking her just a little more....

COMBATSYS: Vyle focuses on his next action.

Vyle continues his cynical insistence, and May Lee is content to not be swayed by it. With vigor temporarily renewed, she springs right into the ring after him as she shouts, "/Everyone/ can be a hero /anywhere/, if they /try/!"

Her scarf is jerked along behind her as she plants her feet on the canvas and then immediately darts forward to drive the heel of her hand towards Vyle's chest to drive the air from his lungs. "Just because /you've/ given up doesn't mean that /everyone/ has to!"

COMBATSYS: MayLee successfully hits Vyle with Quick Punch.

And this time, it's Vyle's turn to find the air forced out of him. He had tried to pull himself out of the way after his usual verbal provocation, plotting on his big counter attack once the Heroine's attack was dealt with.

Seems Heroic Optimism is a bit more pwoerful than villainous cynicism in this case however, with the Korean fighter's heel punch fast enough to surprise him and drive into his solar plexus. "NHHGnnbhh....." A gasp and a shudder as he falls back into the corner. "You...just....don't get it..." he gasps out, despite not being able to breath temporarily. Not about to give in to some little naive girl, however, he grits his teeth...and pushes himself off the corner, trying to make for a last jump toward Maylee and pull her head under his arm for...well, some kind of plan. With Vyle, however, there's never knowing...

COMBATSYS: Vyle has reached second wind!

"N--no," May Lee gets out, voice raspier than it was just moments ago as the after-effects of Vyle's chest thrust begin to get the better of her. She's stumbling a little on her feet after that punch, but when it comes down to it -- when Vyle is just about to leave his feet -- she has strength enough to act against him.

Her arms go out to catch him before her can get a hold of her, and after shoving him back to his feet she finishes, "/You/ don't get it!" before hopping back a step, then jumping in beyond Vyle's guard to drive her right foot powerfully upwards into his chin.

When her feet are both on the ground again, her hands return to her chest as she slumps forward and struggles to catch her breath. Once or twice, her lips twitch into what looks to be a smile before pained grimacing takes over again.

"Cheating--injustice--never okay..."

With that, her knees give and she falls to the mat unconscious.

Well, no one said that things had to be fair. And fair is certainly what this result isn't. With Vyle's last ditch dive toward Maylee caught, the Korean Heroine manages to catch him before he caught her, and knock his head back in with a sharp kick to the jaw. The shot is enough to send him flying back into the turnbuckle, much to the delight of the crowd. Slumped back against the corner, Vyle seems all but out of it...

But it seems the match took its toll enough on May Lee that she's drops out after that last attack, much to the shock of the crowd. Grunting, Vyle glares toward MayLee, trying to pull himself up by the corner ropes. "Stupid kid...what do you know..." he mutters, even if his voice wavers a little. Perhaps even the irredeemable Vyle wasn't beyond the influence of Sheer Heroic Optimism?

COMBATSYS: Vyle takes no action.

COMBATSYS: Vyle can no longer fight.

And alas for him, he falls back into the corner, slumping and unconscious himself, causing another shock throughout the crowd, as well as murmurs of confusion as the bell rings. With both fighters KO'd there's only one call that can be made.

"DUe to neither fighter being able to continue , this fight is officially ruled a DRAW MATCH!!" A few calls of indignation at the lack of a winner, but the crowd seems mostly satisfied, cheers and claps for both fighters as medical staff comes out to help pull both unconscious fighters out of the ring (after checking to be sure they're not in immediate medical risk of course). It seems like a bad thing to have the first cross promotional fight like this end in a draw...but the crowd seems to be happy. And that's a good thing, right?
