Description: In the Land Down Under, the giant Chang Koehan takes on the sweet and petite Maki Genryusai. Will Chang crush Maki, or will Maki end up toppling the giant? ( Winner:Maki )
It's another excellent Neo League matchup, with a Neo League champ fighting a newcoming contender - Chang Koehan. The afformentioned Chang is standing in the middle of a group of shouting spectators. He's eating a large lamb leg, eating the shank right off the bone.
Meanwhile, Maki Genryusai is currently barefoot as she finishes her stretches before the fight begins. She's also with spectators, but unlike Chang, who's eating to keep that big body full, Maki is laughing and chatting with spectators as she loosens up for the fight. After getting her socks and sneakers back on, Maki has a drink of thirst quencher, a special one that is known to keep one from getting thirsty for awhile, Maki takes her tonfa and puts it on.
After getting a few good luck pats on the back with smiles and winks returned as a way of saying 'Thanks!' Maki approaches the fighting area waiting to see who her opponent is... and does a double-take as she finally sees Chang in person. Yes, he's THAT big. Nonetheless, if Chang is the giant, then Maki is the giant killer... erm, giant KO'er!
"Bring it on!" Maki says with a fierce smile.

Chang laughs as he sees Maki. "What? I'm fighting /you/? Little girl, men fight, women cook! Har har har!" He tosses his lamb leg into the crowd, before stomping forward. He grasps a chain and picks up his massive iron ball. "I'm gonna crushify ya!" he shouts, swinging the ball at Maki.

"Is that so?!" Maki says, her smile literally transforming into a scowl. "You're not just a giant, you're a giant PIG! And you think you can crush me?"
Well, Chang is welcome to try, but Maki's got other ideas in mind. Namely rolling in a diagonal manner to the side as well as towards Chang. As soon as she lands, Maki immediately goes into her next technique, which is balancing on her tonfa while spinning around like a whirlwind, her leg extended outward, ready to strike Chang in the stomach or where ever she connects.

Chang gets pegged right in the belly, grunting as he staggers backwards. "Augh, that stung! You're mean, /and/ stupid, lady!" he notes, before he lashes out with a big side kick, aimed at Maki's gut. "I can play that game too!" he shouts, before his big ball makes him fall over.

Maki doesn't exactly like being hit in the gut, but then again who would like something like that? (Maybe someone with a high tolerance for pain, but that's another story.) But nonetheless, Chang is welcome to try to hit Maki, but it's not going to do so well as Maki brings her arms down to block the incoming kick.
"Oof!" Maki says as she slides back a little, her sneakers bringing some dirt up as this happens. "Not bad, but let's see how well you do when I come in from the air!" Maki shouts as she springs off her foot and then comes down with a foot aimed directly at Chang's face. If he doesn't do something, there's gonna be the imprint of Maki's sneaker sole there!

Chang stands back up, just in time to catch Maki's kick with his hands. He pushes her away, before grasping his ball in front of him. "Let's see how you deal with THIS!" he shouts, before he begins to roll with his ball at Maki, attempting to flatten her. "Wheeeeee!"

When Chang catches Maki's foot, she immediately does a backwards flip so she doesn't land on her back. Instead, she lands in a crouched position, which is more proper for a fighter like Maki. She skids a little, but not too far. When she gets back onto her feet, she sees the incoming steel ball, but doesn't flinch. Instead, she simply jumps over it and does a forwards roll. "Is that the best you can do?" Maki asks, cocking an eyebrow.
She doesn't wait for a response, however. Instead, she decides to show Chang just how it's really done. She goes at him with a tonfa swing aimed directly at his side, maybe hitting near a kidney or something. Sure, it might be dirty, but then again, when has fighting with a ball and chain been considered to be legitimate?

Chang gets whacked by the tonfa as he turns about, not even wincing as his belly echos. "Not bad, puny little insect!" He swings his ball around, rolling it out at Maki's feet. "I'm gonna crush ya! I'm gonna smush ya!" he chants, staggering at Maki in a clumsy fashion.

"Me? An insect?" Maki says as she jumps over the incoming strike with ease. "Let me tell you something, buster. This 'insect' happened to be part of an effort to help drive the Mad Gears out of Metro City. And let me tell you, they are not ones to be taken lightly." When she lands, she faces Chang again, but doesn't really do anything. "Come on, let's really get this fight underway!"

Chang reels his ball back in, hefting it up on his shoulder. "I don't care if you fought Geese Howard himself, I ain't impressed! I'm gonna turn ya into a smudge on the pavement!" he taunts, turning around and shaking his behind at Maki.

Almost immediately, Maki turns away shaking her head. "OK, that is just disgusting!" She scowls even deeper at that. "I knew you weren't exactly attractive, but this is going too far I think." She sighs, thinking that Chang isn't taking this fight as seriously as he could. "You know, strength isn't everything in a fight. If you're not quick on your feet, you also have a disadvantage. At least that's how I see it."
She turns to face Chang once again. "But I think that's enough for lecturing today. It's time to resume our little battle." And with that, Maki almost immediately takes a few running steps, then shoots forwards in a flying kick that's headed directly at Chang!

Chang turns around, and blocks the kick by grabbing Maki's leg. He flips her upside down as he keeps his grip, and attempts to pull her into a giant bearhug. "C'mere! HAR HAR HAR!" he guffaws, as he attempts to squeeze Maki to pieces.

Nice try, but Maki's not in the mood for a bear hug right now. She'd rather finish the fight than anything. And even then, who would want a hug from someone that big? Maybe a bear?
"I'm sorry, but I don't have time for these games," Maki says sternly. "I think it's time we finished this up once and for all!" With that, Maki rushes at Chang, then skids to a stop abruptly as she gets close enough to him, while swinging her tonfa in a downward motion... hard!

Chang gets smacked by the tonfa again, but barely notices it. He surges forward, attempting to sweep his ball downwards, the chain tangling around Maki's legs and taking her to the ground. "Quit movin'!" he spits.

"Hmmph," Maki says as Chang goes after her. "I'm not impressed still." Unfortunately, this time Maki's arrogance gets the better of her as she attempts to use her tonfa to poke Chang in hopes of stopping his attack.
Unfortunately, it doesn't work that way.
Maki finds herself missing completely, while the chain wraps around her legs. She gasps and tries to break free, but the next thing she knows, she's on the ground, dazed and in a bit of pain.
Chang walks over to Maki, and attempts to grasp the fighter by her neck while she's prone. If she can't avoid his reach, he grabs her and lifts her over his head, slamming her onto the ground, before picking her up and slamming her down the other side. "Eat pavement!"

In a situation like this, the best thing to do would be to roll sideways or backwards to avoid what Chang is about to do. Unfortunately, Maki's speed just isn't enough. She finds herself getting picked up and slammed into the ground... again.
"Unngh!" Maki yells out as she hits the ground yet again. Gritting her teeth through the pain, Maki nonetheless manages to use a kippup to get back onto her feet and into fighting position, a real feat considering she's got some bruises and a few cuts, not to mention maybe a bruised rib or two. But Maki is far from finished. She takes a deep breath and blows it out as she swings her tonfa extra hard at Chang, apparently trying to blow off some steam.

Chang staggers back a step as he's struck in the belly. That'll leave a bruise! "You puny little fly, do you think you can defeat /me/?" he bellows, before he lets out peels of laughter, his belly jiggling and shaking.

"As a matter of fact, I do believe that I can beat you." Maki says as she steps back from her successful attack. "You know that the bigger they are, the harder they fall. And when you fall, you're gonna fall extra hard, buddy!" With that, Maki closes her eyes and begins to focus internally.

Chang narrows his eyes at Maki. "Fall? FALL? HAR HAR HAR! You can't make me fall, you puny whelp!" He goes running at Maki, swinging his ball around rapidly as he becomes a whirling engine of pure destruction.

In spite of the speed that the ball is going at, Maki is not afraid in the least bit. Her adrenaline flowing through her like a rushing rapid river and her eyes glowing with chi as she stares at her opponent, Maki will gladly accept whatever Chang has to throw at her. In fact, when Chang comes at her, she doesn't flinch.
She simply brings her guard up and manages to absorb the blows through her defensive stance. As a result, she's hurt, but not as badly as she could have been. She goes stumbling backwards a little, but all the better to give her a little more distance for what she has planned. "OK, I hope you're ready for THIS!"
Taking a couple of deep breaths, Maki takes a few steps forward and then abruptly rushes at Chang, ready to deliver a swift flurry of strikes and kicks.

Chang gets beaten by Maki's strikes and kicks, but doesn't seem to notice. He instead steams forward with a roar, shouting, "I'M GONNA CRUSH YOU TO PIECES!" He leaps forward, ball first, and rolls at Maki.

BOOM! Maki gets hit by the rolling opponent and while she's not flattened, she does get knocked back a ways, hitting her head on the ground as she lands. Her eyes are barely open and it looks like she might be down for the count, but Maki's still got a little fight left within her, and she's not going to let it go to waste.
Groaning as she struggles to get up, using her tonfa for help, Maki tries to ignore the pain in her body. "You can try, but I'm not going down that easily!" Maki then steps back and begins to breathe deep, trying to let her mind's focus slip away from her injuries.

Chang laughs at Maki. "I'm gonna crush ya to pieces!" he howls, balancing his ball on his shoulder. "C'mere, fight me!" he says, stalling for time while he recovers his breath.

"Crush me? You have GOT to be kidding!" Maki says as she finishes catching her breath. "I've dealt with villains worse than you. You may be big, but you're mostly brawn and little brain. That's where your problem lies. You need to learn more discipline."
With that, Maki gets back into her fighting stance, focused less on her injuries now and more on fighting. "I'd suggest you look out for me, because I'm no longer pulling my punches... or kicks!" And with that, Maki leaps into the air, attempting to strike Chang with another kick.

Chang knocks the kick aside, laughing. "Is that it? I'm gonna eat you up, you stupid worm!" He swings his ball around, before bringing it down on Maki's head. "Prepare to get CRUSHIFIED!"

Nice try, but no cigars. In fact, Chang shouldn't be smoking cigars with a body as big as his. But who's Maki to judge his health? Her job here is to knock him out, not play doctor with him (in fact, she dreads what his doctors have to do.)
Jumping out of the way of the spinning attack, Maki doesn't waste any time with her next attack. "You're going down!" She yells as she goes onto her tonfa again and spins around like a human whirlwind!

Chang gets whalloped from the tonfa strike, staggering backwards a step. "Urgh...I'm gonna...I'm gonna...AUUUGH!" He shouts at the top of his lungs as he kicks upwards and jumps into the air, before landing on his back. He snores on the ground, out cold.

"Have a nice trip! See ya next fall!" Maki yells with a grin, only to gasp as Chang goes into the air... and then comes down on Maki. Hard. She hits the ground with a loud grunt. Fortunately, she's able to crawl out from underneath Chang and get to her feet, albeit with a lot of difficulty, since that impact took a lot out of her. Nonetheless, when she sees Chang snoring, she can only laugh. "I told you, the bigger you are, the harder you fall!" She then walks out of the area, a victorious grin on her face as she realizes she just defeated a giant.
