Description: The new season of Neo League starts off with a bang! And a crash! And fluff'n'stuff flying everywhere! Both Rainbow Mika and Aranha find themselves fighting in the middle of a highly destructible Build-A-Bear Workshop at the Metro City Mall. On the plus side, the fight is filled high-energy action. On the minus side, golf carts do a lot of damage. (Winner: Aranha)
Metro City Mall.
Middle of winter.
Snow may not be blowing outside, it being quite the mild sunshine-y day. Snow does seem to be blowing around within the Metro City Mall. Tufts of white glide through the air, invisible strings pulling them along as they litter the floor along one of the corridors. What draws them is the power of a golf cart bursting its way through shoppers and down an escalator.
"YOU BETTER NOT FAIL THIS TIME! IF YOU DO, WE'LL BE GOING TO THE AQUARIUM AGAIN!"
Standing nearby, in the entrance to the Build-A-Bear Workshop is Rainbow Mika. She appears as per normal in her wrestling outfit, boots, mask... and fluff? "Ms. Harmageddon! You need to stop doing this!" Behind the teen is an older woman, a stern, worried expression upon her face.
"This is going to be paid for, right? We've got a birthday party here in a few hours, and they'll need that fluff to create their new friends!"
"It will, it will! I'll help clean up if I can I..." Chances are, she'll be dragged off on the golf cart as soon as this match is over. "I'll come back and help!" Darting her eyes around to find the cameras, she clears her throat. Leaning toward the woman she grins, whispering, "Do you have Zangief toys I can dress up?"
"...." The woman behind Rainbow Mika raises a brow, sweatdrops and hurries about the shop trying to clean up the mess.
It's been awhile since Aranha had been to Metro City but with good reason since he had been busy with the Strolheim tournament but recently there was a bit of a delay in announcing the match ups. Aranha decided to take advantage of it by making an impromptu trip to his hometown courtesy of NL.
As Rainbow Mika is cleaning up, the Metro City Malandro walks arrives and finds himself raising an eyebrow. A crowd begins to gather in the area to be cleared out for the fight, even if it hadn't been advertised, people have seen the camera crews enough to know when a fight is about to begin.
"Hol' up. Is this where the fight supposed to be taking place? I mean there's the person I was told I was fighting and there's the crew, but what the..." Aranha never has a chance to finish his question as he's shuffled into the cleared out space. Guess that answers his question.
Needless to say, when he finally gets to the center, his unnofficial theme, 'Welcome to Metro City' gets played on a recently purchased boom box and Aranha rolls his neck as he gets ready to fight.

Removing an errant piece of fluff from the neck of her suit, Rainbow Mika peeks up. Her pigtails bobble to and fro as she begins to nod.
"You're finally here! Good! I'd apologize for all the erm... well you see there was an accident of sorts and... uhh..." Without meaning to, her eyes shift over to the machines which hold all the stuffing for the various stuffed animals. The glass on both appears to be broken, the machines still running and whirring out additional fluff.
"This is where we fight. Right here." Pointing to a small, cleaned up circle, she hops over the fluff-filled portion of the floor to stand in the center. "Ready or not, here I come!"
Her hop sends her just past Aranha. Lips tighten into a serious line as she comes to a stop. Her feet don't even seem to plant firmly into the circle when her body is suddenly bouncing back toward the man buttocks first.

Aranha doesn't even have a chance to go into ginga before the fight begins and as a result he can't really turn himself into a moving target. The usually cunning capoeirista has to work off of instinct instead of his preferred method of cunning. She shoots right by him causing him to shift to the side and then as she comes back, the Dancing Spider has his foot up and in waiting for her.
Her buttocks find themselves on a collision course with his foot as he shoots out a foot for a quick front kick however the momentum has him stumbling backwards before he falls back into crabwalk position. "Well that attack was interesting... Though I probably might be too old for you."
"GWAAAAAAAAAAH!!"
Rainbow Mika gets kicked in the behind, the momentum of her backward hop meeting with his foot sends her sprawling into a rack of stuffed animal clothing. Little tiny articles of clothing go flying into the air, burying the wrestler-to-be under a mountain of material. A second passes. Another is about to pass when the blonde yells, "RAAAAARRRRRRGH," and leaps from the mound of shirts, hats and booties.
Upon each large pigtail is a tiny tiered flower dress in pink.
"DID YOU JUST KICK MY BUM?"
That's just... preposterous! Outrageous! Wait a tick...
"I WAS NOT HITTING ON YOU!!!"
Growling at him, she rushes forward like a bull (with two tiny pink dresses upon its horns). Upon passing him she reaches out to take hold of him by the waist and flip him to the bare bear floor on his head.

Because Aranha's low center of gravity because he's in that said crab walk, he's given a bit more time to react and so when Rainbow Mika grabs him by the waist, he arches his back and arches it even more so when he's off the ground.
The end result? Instead of landing on his head, he lands on all fours as he crawls towards Mika in a manner much like his namesake eating up the distance between them before suddenly lashing out with a spinning back heel kick that he performs while both hands and a single foot is still planted on the ground. "Well... Guys get the wrong idea when you go flying at them butt first." This said while he's on a team with someone who has gone flying into him boobs first. Though on the other hand it might be all just him playing mental games with his opponent though the tone of voice seems taking on a playful teasing rather there being genuine malice or stern lecturing..

Mental games don't work all THAT well on the blonde. She just wanted to set the record straight! After all, if she were going to hit on a fighter during the match it would most likely be another wrestler.
No. Scratch that.

Shooting backward from the force of the surprise-spider kick, Rainbow Mika frowns. "H-HEY! THAT'S NOT NICE AT ALL!" It is a fight. This she is aware of. Fights aren't meant to be nice! Her reason for yelling that is simply that he's knocked her into the bear bubble bath. The bath is a solid structure, more for display than an actually tub to bathe stuffed animals in. Regardless she's irate due to it.
Stomping toward him she shoots her knee upward to catch him in the middle. Hands snap out, at the ready. Knee-strike successful she'll flip him over and smash him down onto the fluff strewn floor.

And when that knee shoots up at him, Aranha dives past the wrestler and out of the way of the attack landing at a 45 degree angle in what looks to be a break dancing pose. Both hands are planted on the ground with one elbow pressed just under the rib cage and his legs extended towards the sky.
"Hmmm," he muses to himself while he pushes himself into a handstand before ultimately getting back to his feet. "I'm usually better about not leaving a trail of destruction in my fights."
He knows that Raibow Mika left a bit of an opening in that opening knee strike and he intends to press his advantage. Whirling around, he swings a blue glowing roundhouse, quickly following it up with another glowing spinning jump kick before finishing the combo off by spinning around to have his back facing her before he flips backward slamming the last glowing kick down upon her head.

The feet, they do glow. They glow nicely, causing the little tufts of fluff to take on a blue hue momentarily as the feet spin toward her creating a whirlwind of fluff-n-stuff. Preparing herself to block the oncoming attacks, she wasn't counting on the fluff getting in her way and forcing her eyes from the man. One kick than another slam into her body. This time, the only place she is going is down.
Flopping atop the pile of fluff and sending multitudes of little pieces up into the air, she gives her head a shake as she sits up. Fluff flies everywhere, but she seems undeterred.
From her seated position, she rolls herself into a forward handstand. Without stopping her movement, she uses her momentum to spring toward Aranha and knock him down.

Once Aranha hits the ground, Rainbow Mika tightens her powerful legs around him. Flipping him over, she pushes his face into the fluff. She mentally begins a countdown. She probably won't get far with it. Having watched him move just seconds ago, the up-and-coming wrestler very much doubts that the agile man will allow the hold long. Once she reaches her silent THREE, she slides her legs from him and rolls to her feet.
This just happens to cover her in more fluff, causing her to look like a giant blonde teddy bear that's losing its stuffing.
It takes a bit of time for the capoeirista to pull himself out of the pile of fluff. Bloody fluff sticks to his face as a result of the blood running from his nose. Of course the horrible sight is softened a bit when the capoeirista comically spits out a bit of fluff from his mouth and then he backs away from the wrestler.
He begins to sway to music that he hears in his head, his feet timed at precise points of the rhythm. And then all of a sudden he hops forward as he delivers a side kick towards the wrestler's stomach, his body tilted low as he delivers the kick.

Comical appears to be the name of the game! How could the fight be anything but with fluff blowing around, rear ends flying toward people, and a pig-tailed girl wearing bear dresses in her hair?
Shifting her weight backward in a slide-hop, Rainbow Mika avoids the side kick. The fluff remaining on the floor continues to slide her backward until her boot catches on a rubber mat. Running back toward Aranha, she ducks. Lashing her arm to the side she sweeps it forward to hook against his leg before standing upright and falling backward to flip him and drive him down to the ground with her weight falling atop him.
"MOUNTAIN BOOOOOOMB!"

Glancing Blow

Aranha had his body tilted downwards for a reason. It was to give him an escape route but it ends up putting him in a situation where it both helps and hurts his cause. It left him easily hooked by the arm but on the other hand it gave him the ability to control his landing somewhat. He doesn't use the kick cartwheel away like he originally planned but he has just enough control to land on one knee a moment before Rainbow Mika's body weight comes down on him and he only has just enough time to turn his shoulder so it's just barely grazed by the falling wrestler.
Even still, Aranha keeps himself in constant motion as he cartwheels at the wrestler turning his body at the last moment so that he drops his heel on her.

Quick calculations on Aranha's part have him barely being hit by her! Rainbow Mika is impressed by this. She doesn't voice the fact that she's impressed, but her expression says it all.
His movements are erratic. Difficult to follow. His heel bludgeons her shoulder as she rolls to the side. There was no intentions of getting out of the way of the foot, just moving so it did as little damage as possible. Figuring that there is little point in getting up off the floor while his foot is in reach, her hand snaps out to grab the man by the ankle. Only then does she bounce quickly to her feet to yank him up with her before releasing him.

His foot gets grabbed and Aranha finds himself wiggling in vain to get himself out of his predicament. When Rainbow Mika yanks him upwards, Aranha finds himself twisting before falling down in a controlled roll before coming back up to his feet.
With a slow swaying dance he slips back into close range and then. He does something different.
He moves to the wrestler's flank as he slips his leg right behind hers and slips his arm under hers placing his elbow on her abdomen and with a pop of his hips he attempts to send Rainbow Mika down to her back.

With a surprising twist (pun intended), Rainbow Mika finds herself on the floor. The back of her skull cracks against a tile with a smiling picture of a bear on it. "AUGH! NOT BEARS... NOT YET!" Her fist punches against the smile as she uses her hand as leverage to bounce to her feet.
Coming at Aranha with a run again, this time sees several trailing shadows developing behind her. Her arms swing out. Taunting him like she's about to perform a lariat. Just as she's about to grab for him she slips behind him, the shadow Rainbow Mika's still trailing after her. From behind, she brings her arm up again. This time to loop it around his neck in a headlock, squeezing as tightly as she can before starting off on a running bulldog.

Aranha doesn't do anything in a fight without some intent in mind. The take down, the Vingativa he performed was intended to set himself up to meet whatever was coming head on. Aranha sees the shadows and as Rainbow Mika passes him by he begins running to one of the columns. Unfortunately he didn't count on the wrestler to start her turn as soon as she did. The result is Aranha gets started on his plans a tenth of a second too late and while he had the running speed advantage on her, the late start costs him dearly.
Aranha's body glows blue and a hint of a blue shadow appears as he takes one step away from her. No more shadows appear though before the capoeirista gets driven face first to the ground.
Face down on the fluff-filled floor? Works for her! Rainbow Mika begins to circle him, one hand upon her hip as she taunts him. "HAHA! BET YOU WEREN'T EXPECTING THAT!" Each word is punctuated with a kick of fluff.
Feet leave the floor after the last kick. From in the air, the wrestler's body twists to the side. Hand leaving her hip, she angles her elbow just so to drive it down into the middle of his back.

Aranha gets up to all fours as she taunts him. And that's where the taunting works against her. First it gave him time to regain his bearings. Secondly it warned him as to when that next attack was coming. Fluff stops rustling obviously meant the attack was coming from above. And Aranha takes full advantage of it. When the taunting stops, he begins to move launching himself into a front handspring to propel himself away from the elbow drop and he lands on his feet.
With a swift spin, his arm lashes out with chi spider web. His lips curl into a smile as he looks at the wrestler. "Thank you." No he doesn't plan on explaining why he's thanking her.

Taunting takes a bit of finesse. Finesse is something that Rainbow Mika has not yet mastered. Taunting needs more work. Yoko Harmageddon will definitely have her work cut out for her to see that her student learns the tricks to it!
Chi webbing impacts with her body, slamming her backward into the broken machine still spewing fluff. Several pieces of broken glass pierce into her flesh. Rivulets of blood run down her thighs. Teeth grit against the pain as she pries a jagged shard of glass from her leg.
That's when she notices that she's covered in a sticky webbing, which is covered in fluff. She now has fluff GLUED to her body, blood matting against it.
Rainbow Mika now looks like a gigantic blonde sheep that ran off in the midst of being sheared.
Dropping the glass shard to the floor, she takes off again. A forward jump of a stinger splash, intent on catching him between her body and the wall is what she offers in return.

And after a few moments the blue chi webbing fades out of existence but he watches as the fluff still manages to adhere to Rainbow Mika's body. Aranha doesn't have time to appreciate the comedy of the situation before he's confronted by the gigantic blond sheep attempting to bull rush him into the wall. Aranha manages to react quickly this time.
Instead of crashing into the wall, Aranha leaps towards the wall and rebounds off of it launching himself up and over the rampaging sheep letting her slam into the wall. This in turn sets himself up to deliver a kick at her back which he intends on using to send her crashing into the wall again though this time with more painful results.

He rebounds, SHE crashes against the wall chest first. Pigtails seem to droop as she does, though before she can slide on down to the floor there is a very evil foot slamming into her back. Pressed up against the wall as she is, Rainbow Mika looks like a squashed blonde sheep with arms and legs flailing out at either side.
Just a kick, which means his foot is drawn back. That's when she slides down the wall, landing on a stack of unsewn stuffed animals with a FWUUUMP.
"AUUUUUURRRRRRGGGGGGH."
Hefting herself to her feet again, her hand gently rubs over the imprint Aranha's foot left. It does NOTHING to remove the stuck on fluff.
Jumping into the air, Rainbow Mika spins around so that her back is to him. Her pelvis is thrust backward, sending her buttocks on a collision course with him again.

Aranha has seen this before. The ass sticking out. It almost would be a turn on if it wasn't for two things going against it. First, as far he knew she was jail bait(he's going by American standards though it's entirely possible he has her age wrong). Second she looks like a bloody sheep. She literally looks like a damn sheep. This time, he's in no position to even attempt to break his foot up her ass yet again. So he does what any reasonable, non cradle robbing American in his position would do.
He lays down flat on his back. He simply watches as the butt flies over head and lands right behind him. Sure, if it was a roda he would've been considered the loser but in a street fight, sometimes laying down has it's uses.
Two things happen when he lays down flat. The first is that Rainbow Mika flies over his head, crashing behind first into a display rack showing off various different ways that the stuffed animals can be dressed. The second is that just when she's about to hang her head and admit defeat, the glass in the front of the shop BURSTS, shatters and falls down into the store due to the large golf cart CRASHING through it.
"I TOLD YOU NOT TO LOSE! TO THE AQUARIUM WITH YOU," shouts the woman driving the cart.
Rainbow Mika's eyes widen. "But..."
The small engine of the cart revs a little. It's enough of a warning that it causes the up-and-comer to drag herself to her feet. Injuries go forgotten as she runs in place at the front of the cart, shortly after which she's chased out of the shop and down the escalator. Running off to her next destination, fluff dropping off of her as she goes.
