Description: Aranha serves as wing man on a cruise. Unfortunately the good times come to an end when Spider comes along and shoots the person Aranha was supposed to be wing man for. Which Arachnid gets washed out?
A cruise off of the coast of Australia is taking in the beautiful weather, with a number of people onboard enjoying the sun and fun. The ship boasts casinos, theaters, restaurants, bars, and pools. It's quite the happening scene, especially since there's few children on board, most of them being at school right now.
A helicopter swooshes overhead, approaching the cruise ship. It's painted all black, and appears to be some sort of transport gunship, armed to the teeth with a vulcan and missile pods. It swooshes over the ship, a man dropping out the side. He hits the ship deck in a crouch, before looking up. It's the Spider.
As for Aranha, one of his friends ended up winning a prize involving a cruise ship he decided to take Aranha along after all he needed a wing man for when he picked up chicks. Unfortunately, because he hasn't been many fights in the circuit, he's not as able to gamble as he would've liked. On the upside there's plenty of other things to do like going to the theaters, socializing, and swimming.
That's where Aranha is now. Doing a few laps in the lap lanes. Back and forth for a few moment before he climbs out of the pool and towels himself off before preparing to resume his wing man duties.
The Spider slowly rises to his feet, as the helicopter flies away, and stalks towards the pool. A man sees him and drops his drink, the oddly shaped glass breaking on the ground. The man goes running as the Spider reaches into his brown bomber jacket and draws a chrome Beretta. He fires it at the man's back, and the man drops to the ground in a bloody heap.
Aranha hears a loud report of Spider's beretta and dives for cover. While keeping his head down, Aranha's eyes dart around attempting to get a handle on the situation which is when he catches sight of Spider, the beretta, the broken glass, and his friend collapsed in a bloody heap. So much for wing man duties.
Aranha breaks off in a run, soundless due to his bare feet and both his experience as a traceur and thief. With towel in hand he attempts to slip behind the contract killer and attempts to garotte him with the. "I was having a nice vacation and then you had to ruin it."

The Spider doesn't hear Aranha coming, and the thief gets right up behind the mercenary spy. The garrote locks into place around the Spider's throat, as he struggles and thrashes, his hands gripping the garotte as he attempts to breath. "RRRRGH!"
Aranha grins just a little as his towel find purchase around the 'R' employed killer's throat. And truth be told, initial wrap around the throat was just to get the towel in position. With the towel there, he can afford to tighten it as he attempts to squeeze the breath from his throat.
With the gun firing and now that a fight is breaking out. Screams fill the air as passengers attempt to scramble for safety.

The Spider manages to get his fingers under the towel, grunting in exertion as he forces it away. With the towel in his hands, he shifts his body and attempts to use his grip on the towel to throw Aranha over his shoulder, right into the glassy blue pool.

Aranha's body goes up and over as Spider to hurl him in the pool. Aranha is forced to think quickly since he can't quite avoid the pool he instead whips out a quick snap kick while releasing the towel to get a bit of distance and to avoid hitting his head on the edge. Instead, Aranha scrapes his shoulder before landing in the pool with a loud splash.
He isn't going to come back to the deck. After all, Aranha is a bit busy treading water.
The Spider smirks at Aranha as he treads water in the pool, holding his stomach where Aranha's kick struck. "You look like you belong in there, shrimp," is all the Spider says as he watches. He reaches into his brown bomber jacket and pulls out a pack of cigarettes, lighting up an Israeli high tar cigarette as he waits for Aranha to get out of the pool.

Aranha swims back to the edge making sure the point he climbs out of the pool will actually give him enough time that he can actually get himself ready to fight again. With a grumble he makes his way back over to Spider and then begins to charge the 'R' Operative. "Aww how cute. You've built up your repertoire of insults since the last time we fought."

The Spider gets tackled to the ground, but keeps his cigarette in his mouth. Smoke exhaling from his nose, he aims to cram his knee into Aranha's jaw from his position below him. "I try to stay current," he replies in a cold deadpan.

Aranha picks up on the fact that the knee is coming. Instead of blocking to cover up he tries to launch himself up and over in a front handspring move him away from the attack. His hand placement isn't quite where he needed it to be and he ends up getting caught right on the crown of his head before being sent up and over on his back.
He quickly brings himself up into a crouching position and then goes up into a hand stand before twisting around to drop his heel right on Spider's stomach.

The Spider springs to his feet, just in time to catch Aranha's foot. His other hand lashes out, his hand blurring as he plants a punch on Aranha's waist, hammering his pelvis as he knocks him away. He takes a drag on his cigarette. "Bad move."
It was one of those cases that Aranha knew exactly what was going to happen just before it happened but only when it was too late to do anything about it. His foot is caught and the strikes land causing the capoeirista cough out before getting sent away.
"Perhaps. But that didn't hurt me all that much either." Perhaps he's letting a little bravado come to the surface. But he doesn't come in after he gets up from the ground. Instead he stands there with his arms wide open as if he's daring him to attack him again.

The Spider raises an eyebrow as Aranha holds his arms open. "If you insist." He steps in close, his hand swinging up in an uppercut at Aranha's jaw. He exhales smoke in Aranha's face, through his nostrils. "Want a smoke?" he asks, frowning.

As Spider moves in with the uppercut Aranha steps slightly to the side as the fist just barely connects with his face before slamming an elbow to the killer's stomach to push him backwards and then spinning around on his pivot foot to deliver a powerful sidekick right to the chin to send him as far away as possible.
"No, thank you. It makes my voice all scratchy. And I like singing in the rodas." Besides the idea of getting any more smoke in his face wasn't all that appealing either.
The Spider's cigarette flies from his mouth as he's struck across the jaw, sent backwards into the railing. He shakes his his head back and forth, jarring his brain free of the stars he's seeing. He rushes forward, attempting to grab Aranha around the neck in a reverse headlock, before planting his fingers into Aranha's spine.
COMBATSYS: Aranha dodges Spider's Masechet.

Aranha watches and dances as he sees Spider attempt to perform a head lock on him. While he has no idea what he's in for, he knows its a good chance he's not going to like it and so he drops under the head lock and into a split while he uses his arms to deflect Spider's own arms.
The capoeirista breathes a sigh of relief because he knows he probably dodged the bullet on that one. He doesn't have the time to reflect on his good fortune and as a result he, pulls himself into a handstand directly from the split and then whirls his legs around like a helicopter as he attempts to slap Spider around with his feet while in that handstand.

The Spider blocks the blows, beginning to look groggy at all the damage he's taking. Stumbling a bit, he aims a shot at Aranha's testicles while he's in inverted mode, hoping to take the wind out of his sails. "Never show an opponent your nuts," he comments.

Aranha was sure of his ability to get away from any type response but then something surprising happens. When Aranha goes to tilt out he's just a hair too late and ends up falling on his ass. While the shot to his cajones did hurt, he seems to get up from the blow, more angry than hurt.
The capoeirista walks around Spider for a moment a hard stare coming from his face and then he launches himself at the other fighter swinging a glowing blue roundhouse right for his head before immediately following it up with a with a glowing spinning jump kick and then finishing it off with a backflip kick to drive his foot upon the 'R' operative's head and also leaving his back completely turned to his opponent.

The Spider's arm flies up, knocking the foot aside. As Aranha leaves his back open, the Spider plants his knuckles into the thief's lower back, with a crippling blow. He's still backed up against the railing, and looks over his shoulder. A speed boat below waits for the Spider. He looks back at Aranha. "Looks like my ride is here."
That definitely was not what the capoeirista had in mind. And he finds himself stumbling forwards due to the knuckle impact driving him forwards. He then swings his body around as he lashes out with arm to send a blue chi Spider Web at the trained killer.
"Oh hell naw," he exclaims as he charges towards Spider right after his own chi web.

The Spider is struck by th chi web, and throws himself over the edge. He falls to the ground, diving into the water. He soon surfaces, climbs into the boat, and escapes into the sunny blue Pacific.

Aranha looks on as chi web impacts. And while he sent the the killer away a frown plays upon his lips. But not for any reasons that could be considered heroic. Though the fact that he got away with killing a friend of his could be considered somewhat noble. There was also the fact that Spider has been the first person to ever get away with a below the belt shot.
As boat goes off the capoeirista silently swears that he will make sure that he gets Spider back. So much for a peaceful vacation.
