It's approaching the dusk. The atmosphere is quite peaceful as the summer's remaining light ends and autumn takes over. Falling leaves descend from every tree, landing on a patch of grass. A matron on the porch sweeps the grass away, and several kids in yukatas run about, chasing after each other.
One individual walks along the corner of the street, moving along the sidewalk. Wearing just a trenchcoat over his body with the thin blue jacket underneath, the young man walks with his hands in his pocket and the hoodie over his head. Blond streaks run past the hoodie. People are careful to avoid it.
It's been several days since the news had broadcasted of a crime that Jiro did not commit. Cast out from society, the former Interpol Officer is left on his own. Breaking away from a real criminal, the young man had set out on his own. Clearing his name seems impossible, so the one thing left to do is to do things his own way.
However, he has been doing some good.
Not even a block away are some trouble-making young man who are sprawled on the ground, their knives and other weaponry disarmed and the police are taking them away.
The Stray Dog is on the move.
After Igniz had left Jiro wounded in many ways, destroying his life, his job and his reputation, it was just not enough for the god of NESTS.
He would now benefit from Jiro's retreat, find him, turn him into justice and declare that his other business he had started, one that would hire fighters for many different things, such as tournaments and others, would be held responsible for taking such a dangerous person off the streets, and handing them over to the proper authorities.
Of course, he would not send those he actually recruited. He would, if anything, send his assistants to find, capture, and then use the those hired as a sort of public relations reach towards other young fighters. All by sacrificing part of his fleece that he did not own. Jiro would not only be the stray dog, but the sacrifical one as well.
Trained soldiers were not sent, not Zero, not Krizalid. But soldiers. Expendable ones. It was a side project, but it was not important. It was, if anything, a way to use what you have. Even as the Stray dog moves about, a man covered in armor lurks in a near by alleyway, ready to assault even in broad daylight. But he wasn't alone. Jiro was stronger than that. That is why they would use swarm tactics.

Complete. Target verified. Moving to intercept.
The target is classified as Jiro Kasagi. Brother to a Mimiru Kasagi. A family. Logic dictates from Jiro's life that Mimiru would interfere. Candy has not seen such movement, nor protection. Conclusion, Mimiru does not care for her brother, or does not wish to protect him.
Ontop of the building, Candy stays low. Dressed in 'armor' as well, she merely looks like a female of a random soldier organization. That which the man in armoring belongs to. Perhaps she would be recognized. Perhaps not.
The chance is fifty fifty, the computer estimates, as she eyes down to Jiro, irii twirling, scanning, locking onto the Stray dog, as information pops outwards from the targets imagine. The information is telling, and mostly, oddly enough, collected by Igniz. Unusual.
But Candy stays above, 'jacket' flowing out onto the buildings edge. The machine can take a fall without things like organs or muscles or bones cracking. Machines are built better than that.
Jiro would have another moment, as he disappears, to reflect on his new life.
That moment ends as the machine woman moves, launching from the edge, falling, the long jacket billowing as she falls.. before hitting the ground infront of the stray dog, the ground giving a bit.. if solely for the metal she was made of.
Standing without a moment, Candy moves to surprise Jiro .. fresh with information about him.
But the other help, expendable like her, would be necessary. The mission does not require vocal, either.

The reflection of his day and the price of his freedom has been boggling. He wonders how long before he is hunted. And if he isn't being hunted already. It is unknown to Jiro that he finds himself hunted down by some people already. Nevertheless, Jiro is still contemplating.
He needs to warn Hotaru. He needs to warn Alma. Somebody. But lo, there is a surprise for Jiro in the sound of a heavy thud on the ground right in front of him.
.... His eyes lift up to see the female infront of him. The first thing that Jiro sees is the armor in front of him and he grits his teeth.
"Shit..."
His right hand drops to the ground, manifesting the scarlet chi. "I see Igniz sent you to finish the job. Here's my answer."
The right hand launches upward, releasing a lance of energy towards Candy's direction, letting the chi shape itself into an arm-length cutter.
"Screw you!"
Jiro finds armor up above. But he missed the armor down below. Ruck Basson awaits Jiro to look up, and as he drops down towards the ground, he can see his opening. Moving, twisting and turning towards Jiro on his own whim, the large armored man breaks free of the grips about him, exploding out of the alleyway without a moment to lose, turning as he switches his aim and heads towards Jiro.
Igniz didn't just send one guy, he sent two. How stupid do you think Igniz is? He, if anything, is aiming to make sure that Jiro is at least hunted right.
Ruck breaks away, throwing himself into a tackle as he heads off towards Jiro at heavy speeds. His footsteps are hard and he's equiped with at least several different weapons and gadgets. And he's throwing himself right at Jiro, aiming to bring him to the ground.
He's a man of his word.
Or, well, if he said anything.

Perhaps there is truly no contest, any longer.
Candy lands, and with the information, prepares to deal with Jiro. The hands rise upwards, weaving a line in the air infront of her, two lines of this light from either side, weaving forwards, into the air, to send such a lance back towards Jiro, the arm length cutter to be responded to in kind.
"That answer is unacceptable."
But the chi cuts through the lance. Error. The 1% she could not deal with. The systems have not been warmed up yet. Hitting the ground too hard has jostled loose something.
The blade nearly cuts through Candy. Tossed backwards, the light flashes on her, as well as infront, the burning energy throwing the machine far backwards, the machine rolling to a stop.. a trail of oil, showing obviously who he was dealing with. Or what.
But the machine is just as normal. Candy raises upwards, damaged, her disguise damaged.. she sparks a bit. Normal people to not spark.
"W-We will make s-sure he gets a be-better answer."

When that chi strikes true towards the mysterious person, Jiro's eyes narrow at the woman. Tightening his fists once, the young man peers at the oil seeping from her body. There is a recollection of memories from here on out. From the time that Jiro met someone similar and then there is the warning of the person who lacks chi in her, Jiro is starting to get that feeling.
"...Akai?" Crimson Shadow's 'real' name. Jiro had to ask.
The young man shifts back and he notices the man rushing over towards him. Leaping from the ground, Jiro brings his legs up to kick upward for a back-flip, letting the guy rush underneath him and put himself into the position where Jiro can actually see both Candy and the man at the same time.
"Figures that he'd send more than one person." Jiro immediately launches himself forward, aiming to lunge his right foot towards the NEST Agent's face.

At the last seconds, Jiro gets out of the way, leaving Ruck looking rather foolish as he leaps forward, only to fall into a rolling strike, sent hurdling underneath Jiro as he comes down, the heavy man reaching for his weapon as he does. It's an nice looking gun. One you'd obviously not really like to get infront of. But it suits him well.
And then Jiro comes, Ruck using what he can to stop the kick towards his face. It's painful, obviously, but he's not done. Grunting and taking two steps back, he just drives himself away. There, he stands. A little winded. Just a little.
No words, just grunts and mumbles are heard underneath the mask. Obviously talking to others and updating the situation. It happens over and over from time to time. They're serious about how this works. Very serious. Like the end of a gun serious. And that's how it happens. Ruck opens fire, bullets darting out towards Jiro, hurdling towards him without a care in the world. Then again, it's a pretty decent amount of bullets.
Staggering back to your feet is a human response.. but the machine does not show it. It knows what is capable of doing, and the legs raise the body as they should. It rises, slowly but surely, before focusing once again upon Jiro.
"You're a louse, Jiro Kasagi." 'Akai' speaks, slowly making her way back to Jiro.. but she does not get too close.
Because the man is already focusing on Jiro.. and Jiro in turns, shows his regards. But Candy, while perhaps one of the least intricate of NESTs various creations, is one of the least troubling. She does as she is told. "And now you are a wanted man. You would have done better under my foot."
A fact. Not a simple opinion. Where is Jiro now? Not a good position at all.
But the tonfas are raised.. and the web of light follows with them. The web is crossed around the weapons, before being thrust before Jiro, tendrils of light weaving through the air, attempting to dig into him. But they are not simply energy..
They are quite solid.
And they are directed towards his core.

So, Jiro finds himself in quite the position between the two. For the most part, the agent is wailing on Jiro with the spray of bullets, which Jiro breaks off running from the trajectory of the shots. Gritting his teeth, Jiro turns to face Candy as she speaks to Akai.
"....God, no wonder why you were a lousy kisser." He grits his teeth, "You're a rob---GGHHNNKK!!!"
The web of light strikes towards Jiro's core, digging into his flesh. He releases a sound of pain, then he immediately reaches over towards the solid web. He is attempting to pull Candy towards his direction. The next tactic is to greet her while sprinting towards her with a left hook towards her face.
Ruck stands, once more defeated by Jiro's feet, the man escaping his trajectory easily as he leaps about. Well then, is that he wants to play it? That's how he'll play it then. Jiro moves off towards Candy, ignoring him all together. The man, for a moment, just seems to wait a small bit to see if he's really going through with it.
Finding that to be the truth, he breaks off, moving towards Jiro in a noted way. He moves, leaping into the air as he comes down, sending a strike right towards Jiro in the only way he knows.
A leaping, hefty kick towards the boy's back.

Things do not go well.
The web of light digs, and it digs well. Yet as the left hook strikes.. Candy can do little, the web of light, combined with the tonfas, attempting to pull the boy forwards, towards the ground, and then to grasp and spin with him.
The damage is causing errors. She merely succeeds in being struck in the face.
But the machine refuses to fall, rolling backwards to a stop, a few more sparks and she rises to her feet.
Realigning .. re-aligning... complete.
System reserves are freed up. The robotic woman refuses to fall, despite her faltering systems. "You focus on the worst of it." She adds, tonfas raised once more. "There will be more to come."

Punch a bitch: You too can own the look of satisfaction.
Jiro pretty much clocks Candy towards the ground, featuring a satisfied look on his face as he sends Candy rolling back. Although she gets back to her feet, Jiro grunts and he rolls his eyes. "I'll break you in a bit."
See, it's not that Jiro has forgotten about the other agent. It's just that Jiro wanted to get reacquainted with an ex. Now, Ruck is given a glance an he finds that the man is trying to bring his foot towards Jiro's neck.
The left hand smacks across the foot as Jiro slides the right leg back. With the left hand sending the foot the other direction. "SEI!" His right fist positions to his side, gritting his teeth as his eyes lock onto Ruck.
Then, he shoots his body forward, aiming to drive the right fist out to implant into his stomach, sending enough of the chi's strength to send the man flying. "DO!"
"Haven't forgotten about you."
Well, that worked as planned. Ruck got Jiro to look at him. Well, excellent. Except he got a little extra with it. Jiro just knocks away the kick before the right fist is implanted in his neck, and the chi helped shoot him back. Way back, thrusting the man across the street almost, ending in a heap of everything. Obviously this was something he hadn't planned on.
That's all right. All plans need to be though out sooner or later. Getting up, wounded and battered, Ruck still has one thing.
A Gun.
And he's using it. Aimed right back towards Jiro, Ruck begins to lash out towards him, shot after shot of powerful ammo launched towards his chest, trying to take him out the only way he knows how. Overwhelming fire.
Candy would never be an ex to Jiro. That would involve dating him.
Even machines .. have some form of self respect. But it's when Jiro slides back, driving a fist towards the invader that it truly becomes a problem. The agent is failing. She is not having much luck either. It turns out they might not be able to take this Stray dog.
But a machine has no nagging voice in the back of their head.
They merely keep chugging on.
Candy has had thoughts.. conflicting ones, about her actions at times. Mostly due to errors, she tells herself. There is no logic within question a course of action that is logically the best choice.
Then why does she?
Error. It loops within her mind for a moment, before it becomes obvious with a gunshot, the course of action re-initialized. "But you will forget long enough. You will not walk away."
Kicking off the ground, Candy spins, much like Kula, legs snapping out, aiming to strike against Jiro over and over, in her movement.

After sending the man flying across the street, Jiro dusts his hands off and he mutters. "Bastard." He grunts, then he shifts his head over to see the man wielding a gun and shooting out towards him. The ammunition strikes Jiro against his arms and legs and he grits his teeth as a wound is exposed from each shot.
"Shit..."
One pop after another is like a puncture with blood popping out. Next, Jiro notices the leg coming towards his head, and he immediately ducks underneath Candy's foot. Instead, he drives himself forward towards the robot's direction, bringing his fist against the ground.
Chi burns in his grasp and he snarls, "You talk too much!" Launching the fist upward towards her chin. The scorching scarlet blaze manifests as Jiro straightens his body.
Now that Jiro's busy with Candy once more, Ruck isn't using his time too effeciantly. He's spending a lot of it trying to reload his weapon, and when he finally does, well, he's strapping it towards his back and just leaving it as is. He stands, looking forward towards Jiro, thinking for even half a second. He's been pretty mute, save for the reports back home.
Whipping pistols out from his holsters on his side, he takes aim once more upon Jiro, beginning the fire over and over and over again. Blam blam blam blam blam. Ammo fires out, ready to take anyone in its radius. Of corse, this is also with Ruck walking forward slowly.
The ammo spent is magnificent.

Jiro ducks. She would have accepted being struck, but the assault is a preparation. Swirling around the leg, the solid light begins to pool in her reservoirs. There is movement in this. She has understood Jiro's rather painful nature in his assaults. There is but one real choice of action. To use that against him.
The energy is pooled, the reserves, fired.
And now all that is left is to anticipate a burning fist.
There it is.
The fist is brought against the ground, the scorching scarlet blaze manifesting as he straightens, and pushes towards Candy.
The holograms move, the wisps of solid light spiralling towards Jiro's fist, intending to grasp it mid strike, and turn it against him. This was the most logical course of action, she believes.
It works.
The strike dissipates from the energy Jiro uses, but the lines of solid light course the energy around, bathing Jiro in his own energy. The scalding flames. The force re-paid as well.. but not as strong as it once had been.
And in then end? .. She doesn't say a thing.

The fight is still going on as Jiro finds himself hunted down by two people. One of them showing more resiliance than before. Jiro grits his teeth, trying his best to take one out before dealing with the other. That is why he is going after Candy first. Unfortunately, he is meeting with the very end of his own chi as the scalding flames burn against his body. "Son of a....!" He snarls, then he grits his teeth at the rapid fire by the other agent.
A growl is given as Jiro reaches for a nearby trashcan to deflect the bullets. Few of them pierce against it and strikes true to him, but Jiro finally launches the trashcan out against the other agent.
"SIT DOWN!"

The fight is still going, but what of Ruck!? Well, Ruck's obviously coming back for Jiro. For reasons you can understand, and reasons you cannot. But rest assured Ruck will still attempt to do what he must.
And he does. But he doesn't. Jiro tosses a trashcan directly towards Ruck, sending it towards the man as he leaps into the air. Oh, he knows what he's going to do here. He's going to leap through the trash can and strike Jiro with the butt of the barrel. But that doesn't happen. Ruck's taken by the trashcan a little too hard, sending the man sprawling backwards with a snort. He's got some life left in him still, and he's going to do whatever he can to use as much of that as possible.
As Jiro launches the trashcan towards the agent, Candy is there, watching as Jiro ends up taking the agent out of play, to a degree, with his assault.
Unfortunate.
The machine does not back down.. yet the energy is getting to be wasted. There isn't much left, now, and she has burned most of the reserves as well. This does not mean that NESTs has not given her another viable option.
She would recharge during the fight.
But as Jiro is on the defensive, Candy leaps forwards, aiming to grasp him, his arm, and bend it backwards, before flipping him to the ground. She doesn't worry of response, or reprieve.
let the man do as he will. Ruck is alive. She is forced to protect him... by becoming the immediate threat.

The trash is temporarily taken out. That is one down, the other should be taken care of as soon as possible, because the other brute will get up soon afterwards. That is why Jiro turns to face Candy when she decides to leap towards him in an attempt to grasp him.
Unfortunately for Candy, Jiro greets her when she turns around by lunging his right foot towards her gut, quite enough to hunch her over. It's not where the power is at. The worse part is in the throw itself.
Jiro turns around to meet his shoulder underneath Candy's neck, then he wraps his right arm over her arm while he left arm holds onto the right hand. Dropping his weight down, he aims to have Candy's throat smash against the shoulder before he lets go.
The Stray Dog Stunner!
Oh now, that's good enough for Ruck. He even sees Candy going straight towards Jiro. And Ruck, being a kind soul, just lets her drives herself into Jiro, through hell or not, he's perfectly fine with the machine getting the blunt of the assault. She can be repaired. He? Well, that's totally different. He'd have to have a little more time to recouperate. But that doesn't stop him from rushing towards Jiro now that the cards are down.
Head long right into the assault, Ruck moves in for the kill, even as Jiro strikes Candy. More like DROPS CANDY, he's coming towards Jiro with a little glint in his eye. Even as he brings her down, Ruck tries to bring him up.
Grasping a hold towards his neck, Ruck just aims to grab hold and fling him. Fling him far and away to give Candy some time to breathe. If there's anythign left to breathe... if robots breathe at all. Ruck doesn't care!
Jiro lunges outwards, the foot slamming towards her gut, the machine dented.. before Jiro gets his shoulder where he shouldn't, wraps his arm over her own, and then holds onto the right hand. As he drops down, Candy's throat smashes against the shoulder.. and the body is discarded to the side.
For a moment, the metal is silent. There is a brief whirring. The machine rises, sparking incredibly in the sight. She is not doing too well. An Understatement.
But programs begin to close. Candy cannot argue. She has no say.
Yet she moves to study Jiro. Taking a sight upon him .. as the body falls limp, stopping in it's motion. The whirring.. however.. continues. It might not be over.
Rebooting....

... Rebooting...

That takes care of one aggressor. Narrowing his eyes as Candy falls, the young man grits his teeth before his fists tighten. "That takes care of one trash..." Then, his eyes shift over towards the man seeking to grab a hold of him by the neck.
Jiro ducks down and then he twists about to angle over to the side of the man. While Jiro shifts to the other side of Russel, Jiro finally grits his teeth and then he brings his body to release his aura in an explosion.
"ARRRRRRRRRRGGGGGHHHHH!!!!"
The chi erupts like wild-fire, the scarlet blaze surrounding Jiro like a funnel.

Oh, what this. Jiro's exploding out towards the Invader? Well Ruck knows how to handle that. Throwing himself into the assault of his AURA, Ruck just keeps moving. Thrust into it, his body hurts, it burns even as he does. But it doesn't matter. He keeps throwing himself forward in hopes of a moment of clarity. It hurts terribly.
But you know what? It's going to be worth it. Raising a massive weapon towards Jiro, Ruck just unloads all the rounds. Shot after shot after shot resounds as Ruck fires it point blank into Jiro's figure, attempting to blow massive holes into Jiro's figure even if he's so close. He doesn't care about what happened here.
He'll fall due to being rather winded, and a little strained. But he'll be happy to if Jiro is just a little too slow.
Just a little.
And even with their failure there, NESTS is moving to pick them up. With failure there is a lesson. And with a lesson, there is some one elses job.

After the explosion of the scarlet chi, Jiro releases a hiss and he staggers once more. When the Invader does release rapidfire upon Jiro, however, the young man attempts to adapt to it by raising his hands up and guarding against the blow. As the shots strike true to Jiro, his body has several more punctures popping up.
...Now, Jiro is left with blood running down his tattered trenchcoat and pants. He staggers out, gritting his teeth as he moves to the next part of the ally.
As Jiro passes through the next part, a few dogs move in where Jiro was last at, mostly to cover his escape.
Not a good day to be in Kyoto.
