Description: By what is likely mere coincidence, Chun-Li runs across the self-proclaimed God of NESTS after paying visit to Gedo High. What reasons does the NESTS leader have there, and are students are risk? Fueled by concern and determination, Chun-Li takes a risk. But does it pay off?
The street is always run down, empty completely except for a few people that still brave the streets. Most light hearted or smart people stay away from this area of town, but there are always the constant Gedo pressence, earned by their appearences here and there, maybe not earned at all.
Gedo street does exist, surprisingly, and more importantly, there is a school on Gedo street.
Gedo High, and equally as impressive run down building.
But along this cleared road, a man covered in pale purple robes makes his way down the street, his face partially covered, only his chin and mouth seen at all. Why Igniz would return towards a grevious place such as Gedo High? Visiting it once before, the activity begins again.
But for what purpose? That's entirely a unknown. Shurui has been seen before, and Igniz does not seek her. K' has been seen, and still Igniz does not actively purpose. (That's some one elses job.)
So why would he return? It's not entirely obvious, but his cloaked figure has become synonimous with what is to come soon.
For Chun-Li, life has been anything but ordinary the past few weeks.
Of all the lackeys of various criminal organizations she's crossed paths with, none have yielded any poignant information. And then there was her Saturday Night Fight that quickly spiraled out of control, no thanks to the presence of Ryuji Yamazaki, and THEN there was an ambush on her, courtesy of Shadaloo and Bison's meaty fists.
Fortunately for Chun-Li, luck has been on her side. But even she is wise enough to know that her luck may run out any day now...
But that remains the furthest thing on her mind. Today, she has a purpose: after meeting with people such as Hotaru and Frei, active members in the community at the YFCC, she felt that--maybe--she too ought to be a little more active. And what better way to start than paying visits to the local schools and getting to know students. After all, it's probably for the best, considering what happened months prior at a few campuses, it may tune her into some clues about NESTS recent activities.
With the school day over and out, Chun-Li bids farewell to a few faculty and a handful of students, giving a polite bow and thanking them for their kindness and generosity. Leaving Gedo behind, the Tai Chi Mistress has a smile on her face as she steps through the campus gates, brown eyes drifting to the skies above. How long was she there, she wonders, eyeing the orange glow of the afternoon's sinking sun. It didn't feel like it was too long...
Dropping her gaze, the woman turns and quietly begins to make her way down the street. But...something catches her eye, an odd approaching figure shrouded in a fine cloak, and the woman freezes. While the sight isn't immediately familiar, an odd feeling creeps its way down her spine. Can that really be..?
The hand clutching the strap of Chun-Li's purse tightens.
The veiled figure gives no real looks to any one about, especially in such a ghost town area of Southtown. No one will even mind what happens to this place. For, what if Gedo High disappeared? No one would mind. They would say that the streets were safer and that they should have demolished it a great time ago. Whoever would remove it would be looked upon as a hero of south town. Except Geese, of course.
He can't be double hero, that's cheating.
With a rather rhythmical movement about him seems to take place, as if he was a machine. He would stand, look upon a piece of the school for what seemed like ages, and move once more to an entirely different part, and continue said ritual until whatever pagan god he was summong had refused him at that very spot.
This wasn't the case at all. Igniz, beneath the robe, was looking very closely upon the school, with or without students. It did not matter. Many of them didn't offer him a challenge save for the whole Daigo thing. There are so very few fighters that could stand to his strength alone here. He would, in time, find something worthy of his attention.
Chun Li is hardly a thought at this moment.
Chun-Li really does not want to believe that here, in front of her, is the man in charge of NESTS, hidden beneath his flourish robes. She has a hard time believing it period; after all, what would he be doing here alone, outside of a place such as Gedo. Was he planning more attacks? Something else entirely? She wasn't sure--she couldn't be sure. Not unless she got the information straight from the source.
Slowly--carefully--the woman exhales, as if trying to remain unseen as she stands in plain sight. She observes closely as the man simply moves, stops, observes and moves on. It would be a lie to say Chun-Li didn't think his actions suspicious; anyone would very likely agree with the woman's thoughts.
Her hand tightens a bit more on the purse strap...and she then makes up her mind.
Biting lightly at her bottom lip, the woman lifts her chin, eyes narrowing sharply upon the robed figure before her. "Is there something I can help you with?" she calls out, looking less-than inviting or friendly as she asks. She has every reason to believe it's precisely who she THINKS it is, but...she can't help but play it a little safe.
And if it is him...maybe, just maybe...
The mand in the cloak turns towards Chun Li as she stares for a moment or so. He can feel the eyes upon him from a distance, the figure swiveling above the ground without any friction at all. Poised towards Chun Li, the god of NESTS makes no sudden movements, even with the words slowly rolling off her tongue in order to determine if he, is in fact, the man that has caused so many grief in such little time.
Well, she is in for a surprise, or perhaps, none at all.
The god of NESTS turns, a soft smile dotted by the setting sun, lit up as his lips gleam for a moment, even such skin showing a heavenly presence.
"You can assist... by not getting in my way." Igniz exclaims, the cloak disappearing in a quick second, repositioning everything within a miniscule moment, a fraction of a second. The cloak replaced by a cape, the heavenly armor dons the man, a jade black tint across the armor, constrasting his blonde locks and pale skin. He even floats off of the ground itself, caring not for the laws of gravity.
Chun Li has found her man.
"I have business to attend to." He declares, "Do not get in my way, and I would be rather greatful." Igniz exclaims, a smile across his face the entire time as he begins to leave, turning towards the school itself in a beeline towards one of its many entrances.
The silence, the smile...it makes it seem like she's waited an eternity for the man to reveal himself. Almond-brown eyes are keenly fixed on that shrouded figure, her gaze narrowing only slightly as notes the smile that slides over the figure's lips. And then the figure moves, the long cloak once hiding his form suddenly vanishing.
"No way..!" Chun-Li murmurs, her eyes widening ever so slightly. It really is him.
Surprise gives way to a fierce expression, the woman's soft features foul as she looks upon the head of NESTS. He speaks, but his words only draw her lips into a deep frown, the hand clutching her purse strap clenched harder than ever. Stay out of his way? Is he joking?
"I refuse!" the woman calls back, taking a confident step forward. "It's no secret, the things you've done at the schools in town before. I refuse to let someone like you do such terrible things to students again." She's not afraid. She isn't afraid of the imposing black armor, or his strikingly pale skin or the defiance of gravity. No, Chun-Li is determined.
"Your business is now my business, Igniz," she replies. He begins to turn, to head toward the school itself. Would he dare do such a thing in the presence of the World's Strongest Woman? Her features twist slightly, eyes narrowed sharply as she lets a small, angry 'tsk' slip past her lips. She can't let him get to the school..!
"HaaaaAAAH!!"
Her sudden cry breaks the silence as she dashes forward, heedless of her personal well-being. The purse on her shoulder is cast aside, as the Chinese vigilante races after the God of NESTS, determined to come in from behind him and leap OVER him in a graceful flip. Midair, however, her legs shoot outwards, the soles of both sneakers aimed to strike the self-styled God in the center of his face with considerable force.

The god of NESTS moves away, he does not look back. It almost seems, as he walks away, a church epiphigy is playing, a choir and all rising up in song for this one man of his presumable holy heritage. But it seems so wrong, for a man so cruel, so complacent with the acts that he is doing to simply tell others to stand aside instead of striking out at them as well.
He is a god. Random violence is beyond him. There is so much he may apply his world changing power to, and today, this is Gedo High. For one reason or another, this building is the recipiant of his will, in a bad way. Much like the YFCC had fallen into his eye, and in turn, was victim of a horrendous assault, leaving the building in disrepair.
Chun-Li will not allow him such an easy alternative. A route he seeks without the preserve strikes of offenders. He ignores her completely, words spoken against him nothing more than a figment of his imagination, or her reality; either way, they are ignored. Up until she speaks his name.
The overlord whips about, right as she charges, he prepares himself for anything she may ready, only for her to leap over him, the battlesuit following entirely, watching her move gracefully, and as her leg fires out mid air, four shields of chi arrise by Igniz's own will, the strike deteriorating quickly, but still leaving some lasting damage upon the armor. It's dented now.
His eyes pierce forwards as Chun-Li lands, his figure hovering in the air, rooted to nothing, but refusing to press the assault upon her. "You know my name. I'm intruiged." Igniz begins, watching her figure closely. Almost too closely. "Then I assume you know who I am. I must say, whatever you are planning to do, I am afraid you will be unable to."
Clicks and whirs are heard, Igniz standing, awaiting her assault once more. His cape billows behind him, serrated edges gleaming.

For all the things Igniz has done to innocent schools across town...Chun-Li cannot let him get away with it all. It would be wrong for her to turn a blind eye to the painfully obvious, to simply shrug off and let him be on his way. If it means putting her safety on the line, she'll do it, because she cannot let him walk into that school again.
She moves, legs hurriedly carrying the Chinese woman across the wide gap that once separated them. Leaping, she kicks her legs out, heels aimed for the man's face...but striking instead shields of pure energy. Briefly her eyes widen, a look of disbelief on her features. No way--but there's no time to think about it.
She hits the ground and tumbles gracefully, hands pushing her body upwards as she handsprings onto her feet. Lifting a hand to her forehead, Chun-Li wipes her bangs from her face, lips pulled into a thin, tiny line across her soft face as the God of NESTS speaks.
"Of course I do," the woman replies with surprising calm. "And I know who you are. You're a very sought-after man, Igniz. For the things you've done and likely plan on doing, I cannot let you leave here so easily." Not without a fight, anyway. She knows this won't be easy--that outfit of his...
Lightly gritting her teeth, the woman throws caution to the wind, ignoring the audible whir and clicks of that odd uniform he wears as she seeks to draw in close and deliver a swift high kick to the man's face, followed by an equally swift kick to his chest. "YAA!"a

Igniz a very sought after man? After all, how sought after could he be? There were many incantations about him in various places, and if not that, many different notice of the self proclaimed god. Many had been seizing for his attention, attempting to get an upper hand upon the god, only to find that it was quite impossible in many senses of the word.
As Chun-Li rushes for the advantage, the god of NESTS does not push it, even if he may very well be able to. Chun-Li is allowed to pull ahead, in the sense and more. She thrusts herfelt forward, leaping out with a high kick towards Igniz's face, delivering a most terrible blow. One which Igniz moves into. The blow shatters across him, his figure thrust into the assault, the high kick striking, and the chest denting the armor as the man begins to spin.
"Then it will not be easy." Igniz declares, responding to Chun-Li with a veritable answer, may she want to hear it or not. He continues forward. And his cape follows.
In this one instance, where Chun-Li had thrown caution to the wind, the overlord of NESTS moves to capitalize on it, his cape's serrated edges striking deeping towards Chun-Li's chest in a moments noticed, aimed as grasping her, pulling her up into the air, and infusing her with a great amount of white, imaculate chi, resonating with the man wearing the outfit in the first place. There is no mercy. Just act.

Something is very wrong--she just knows it, when her kick lands both times. Almond-brown eyes widen as she touches a leg down, regaining her footing as the God of NESTS begins to twist his form. She steps back once, a look of uncertainty haunting her face. She knows in her mind it won't be easy--someone like Igniz is not to be taken lightly.
But she can't let herself be so easily cowed. Not while he's threatening to harm the school..!
The woman tries to act, as the cape and its serrated edges come sweeping upwards in a flourish display. Arms lift, trying to fold over her body to protect it--but she acts too late. The cape cuts through skin, gripping her and hefting her upwards before she's overloaded with that awful energy he has at his command, a strangled cry escaping the woman before she's released, hitting the ground with thump.
Bleeding and sore, the woman pulls her body to its feet regardless, brown eyes fiercely determined as she clutches the wound in her chest. "I won't let you...get away with the acts you've committed and the people you've hurt," the woman calmly replies. But she slips, her eyes widening as she cries, "Never!"
Again, Chun-Li moves, her body swiftly covering ground before she leaps and spins, a leg whipping out and delivering a turning midair kick aimed for the side of Igniz's head. "YAA!!"

Igniz dances through her guard, the spinning overlord finding purchase where ever he so decrees. The strike comes, slamming into Chun-Li's side, driving her backwards at such a crutial moment, even as she's thrown about, the cape finding her and launching her away. The god of NESTS makes no movements afterwards, only allowing her to see the smile upon his face as his cape slowly comes to a pendulum stop before continuing to blow mightely with the absence of any powerful currents.
Igniz stands, arms crossed as awaits her rebuttal. Wounded partialy, but overall in rather good condition, the would be god seems to enjoy it all, his features unchanged since the start of the fight, as if his features were devoid of stimulus all together. Chun-Li rises from her wounds, attempting to find purchase, any at all, upon Igniz, her words threatening and a warning. One that he does not heed.
The cries of the woman do nothing to his heavenly features, not even inspiring him to bat an eye. "You come here to give warnings to a god?" Igniz exclaims, even as she lifts, spinning forward, whipping out a strike towards the side of his head. The strike seems easy, fast, something Igniz may not be able to react to.
The kick accelerates towards his face, Igniz merely raising a single hand in to fraction of a second, an energy, pulsating about him, his divine, fabricated chi forced into its frankenstein life. It gathers only to explode outwards in a pilliar of light, streaking towards Chun-Li's open torso, driving the strike into her, and in turn, firing her backwards from whence she had pushed herself to get up from.
"So many try. Few will ever succeed."
Her efforts prove...futile.
Pulling herself to her feet, Chun-Li struggles against fresh wounds, brown eyes hooded as she just glares at the so-called 'God' of NESTS. His words earn him a scowl from the woman, her head shaking lightly before she lets her angry eyes draw shut. These words sound too familiar to her, like something the lord of Shadaloo would say. The man who killed her father.
Her head snaps up as the woman charges, eyes wide as she seeks to deliver a painful blow. But just as her kick whips out and aims for his face...a sudden flash blinds her, his chi erupting before her very eyes. The energy stops her foot cold, drawing a startled gasp from Chun-Li--but it's too late. The energy thrusts outwards, blasting painfully into her stomach and driving her backwards like a shot from a gun. After several feet, her body hits with another harsh thud.
Though she moves a bit slower and sluggish than previously, the tenacious Tai Chi Mistress pulls back onto her feet, eyes narrowed sharply and focused entirely on Igniz. "I will," the woman offers in a low voice. "Just watch..."
She draws a sharp breath in her aching lungs as she straightens her back, focusing inwardly. She has to land this, she tells herself. She has to prove to her own self she's gotten stronger, and show the God of NESTS he won't lay a hand on this school.
And then, almost instantly, the woman blurs forward, stopping a few feet in front of Igniz only to lift a leg. Tightly coiled at her hip, that leg instantly fires off, to deliver not one, but seemingly hundreds of kicks into the trunk of his body--but it does not end THERE. No, the Tai Chi Mistress will drop a leg and switch, executing seemingly hundreds more kicks before she again switches, delivering ANOTHER batch before--finally--switching one last time to deliver a sharp, high side kick straight into the blonde's jaw.

Igniz finds out very quickly that Chun-Li, even while in a corner, can be a very dangerous Tai-Chi master. A very dangerous one indeed.
The god of NESTS allows her to come once more, even as she once more gets up, her figure finding out just how much power Igniz may have at his disposal, but it was not enough to put her down so quickly, as she had shown. But she proves herself more than just a little bit, rising towards Igniz on a monumental occasion, striking out in a flurry of kicks, hundreds of them, only to switch towards the other kick ans send more and more before switching again. And then, once more, lurching out with said strikes.
With the last assault, Igniz is blasted backwards, sent hurdling with the last kick solidly crackling on his jaw, throwing him backwards towards a stop. Igniz, for a moment, pauses, his figure wracked with pain from the assalt. But his features never change. The smile on his face stays as bright as ever, looking towards Chun-Li with a glimmer in his eye. "Ahhhh." Igniz begins, "I had wondered if you would land a strike. I am pleased to see that you have." The god of NESTS indicates, calling forth a chainsword from out of thin air before striking out, the weapon disconnecting into a spiked, snake like chain.
It lurches towards Chun-Li, attempting to grasp onto her, and then be pulled off in a sudden recoil, summoned by Igniz himself. "Your strength will only get you so far."

Though it should be satisfying to Chun-Li, her success is anything but. Instead, her face is painted with determination, brown eyes narrowed as she fires off kick after kick after kick, the last sending the self-proclaimed God stumbling away from the force of her blows. The woman, on the other hand, exhales loudly and draws her leg down, steadying her body before she slides into stance with arms raised. Maybe, she wonders, her point got across..?
But the smile on Igniz's face suggests otherwise.
Frowning in response, the woman's features remain stern. She says nothing--instead, her eyes dart to the summoned blade and chain, her jaw tensing as she focuses, struggling to predict its trajectory. And the moment it lashes out, Chun-Li readies herself. Just before it bites into flesh, the woman twists to the side and sweeps an arm up, deflecting the weapon with a well-timed strike that leaves her forearm oozing blood and a nasty gash along her skin. She ignores the pain.
"Heed your words carefully," she replies ominously, her fist still clenched. Bracing herself, the Tai Chi Mistress pushes off her back foot and lunges in once more, attempting to deliver a nasty blow to Igniz's stomach with a loud cry.

Once more, the god of NESTS awaits Chun-Li's strike, but he does not have very long to wait. She dives in, even as the chainwhip is deflected, still returning towards Igniz into a sword that it was beforehand, disappearing back into obscurity. He has moments to react before her strike blows directly into his chest. One can say that Igniz would be stupid to allow her to connect with such a thing.
But there was no foul in leading her into a trap.
Her blow cracks into Igniz's stomach, striking powerfully, denting the already crushed in armor, looking more as if it was found in a trash yard after the onslaught of kicks that it withstood. But Igniz does not faulter, standing as still as he can, allowing the strike to come, even with his arms crossed. It obviously does appreciable damage, but Igniz withstands, keeping himself from moving.
But for what reason?
Each chi amplifier, on either side, rise like snakes, aimed towards Chun-Li while she is so close, and while on the offense no less. A powerful light sears into existance, building on either side, poised towards the Tai-Chi master, growing powerful imaculate orbs of white chi. "As you should as well." Igniz declares.
Each ball detonates at once, surging forward to catch Chun-Li terribly off guard on this one occasion.

And straight into the trap Chun-Li is led.
Her strike lands, the armor buckling beneath her fist as it impacts--but the God of NESTS wanted this. Blinking once, the woman's eyes snap up at the sound of the odd amplifiers rising, readying themselves to strike the woman down in one fierce strike. Try as she may to shield herself from harm, the white hot energy strikes out, the spheres of chi erupting and striking the woman down and back, her form sent sailing freely through the air.
When she lands, it's with yet another harsh thump, her poor body smoking lightly, as if she just rolled off the grill. Groaning softly, she pushes her hands down onto the ground, pushing her aching and bleeding body off the warm concrete. Pulling her body into a crouch, the woman pants, struggling to catch her breath. She can't go on like this much longer...
Biting down onto her lip, Chun-Li forces her body to stand once more. Holding a hand against her wounded chest, the woman struggles to focus on the NESTS God, despite her blurring vision. Can she really do this..? Of course! She has to.
A deep breath enters her lungs, eyes shut...before she exhales in a loud cry, her brown eyes snapping open. She delivers a charge, her body dashing forward as she again seeks to relentlessly pummel Igniz in the chest with a blur of lightning-fast kicks to drive the man back in pain. Please don't fail her now, body..!

Chun-Li, if anything, continues to fight admirally even with her vision begins to blur. Igniz as well must fight systems failure of his battlesuit, and perhaps even worse, paining himself from the terrible spur of defeat. Something that he would not allow right now, if he could even help it. But he would, still, fight on against Chun-Li's assault.
With her cry and relentless dash, Igniz finds purchase behind a forcefield, all four popping up once more to slow her assault down to the tinest nick, leaving Igniz at an advantage, albiet a small one. Her strike very narrowly is stopped. It still pushes Igniz back, if he would like to admit it or not.
"You continue to linger without any hope of success. It is most intruiging." Igniz exclaims, waving a hand to summon a small bolt of energy, white chi that swells up terribly, only to be fires quickly towards Chun-Li's figure in aims to overpower her, push her back, and drive her into the side of the wall. All within a bright, powerful arrow of sorts.

Again, it would seem that Igniz's chi spares him the full brunt of Chun-Li's fierce assault. But rather than look startled or surprised, the woman just exhales in exhaustion, shoulders sagging deeply as she stumbles back and away, her hand reaching up once more to clutch her chest. The loss of blood has become troublesome, and the beating and burnings she's taken from his fearsome chi have started to take their toll, but...
She shakes her head, trying to push away the doubt. Snapping her eyes up, she regards the man with a determined look, her lips pulled tightly across her soft face. When she does the man is moving his arm, summoning that chi once more and threatening her with it. Widening her brown eyes, the Tai Chi Mistress' legs tense up. The arrow sails...
But with one powerful leap, Chun-Li avoid it.
Where once she stood the wall behind her explodes in a burst of debris and dust, the arrow strike taking a good chunk out of it. Moments after the woman reappears, landing in a low crouch with a hand planted firm on the ground for support.
"I will succeed!" the woman exclaims. "Do not underestimate me!"
Like a sprinter at a starting gun, Chun-Li pushes off, giving her body incredible forward momentum. Midrun, however, her body whips into motion, literally inverting itself as she flips into the air, the motion guided by a push off the ground by her hand, despite her body's protests.
"SPINNING BIRD--!!"
Her legs snap outwards in a split, her entire form whipping around as she flies in a straight path toward Igniz, to barrage him with a series of harsh and brutal kicks like a human helicopter.
"KIIIICK!!"

Something terrible happens then. Without warning, without a plan, Igniz watches as his arrow sails forward towards Chun-Li, only to leaped over. She manages to avoid her certain demise, drawing surprise from Igniz, and copious amounts of it. Chun-Li is fighting on with very little to give yet, the god of NESTS exasterbating the circumstances. She could still fight.
She still could win.
Something Igniz knew that he would have to stop quickly, stop it early so that all thoughts and chances of such an event happening are stricken. She will not be successful. The god of NESTS declares such an event to happen. But she wills against him, exploding forward as she states. She's determined. Nothing will deter her. She kicks off the ground with unbelieveable force, pushing herself quickly towards Igniz's figure, sucking up debris found in the streets and sending it flying about, all force aimed at one thing. Igniz's exposed figure.
Flare did not suit the god of NESTS at all. He disliked it, extremely so. He cared about how effective something is, no matter how one may react to it. And as Chun-Li rockets forward, Igniz watches for a brief moment before hurling a quick, deliberate punches towards her side, aiming to imbalence her perfect helicopter, and cause the 'rotors' to crash into the ground, stopping her momentum there and then.
"You were a rather interesting one." Igniz exclaimed, "You had surprised me." Recoiling, he floats powerfully, wounded and weak, but wearing it ultimely well.
In the span of mere seconds, Chun-Li is struck and sent tumbling to the ground painfully. The punches land, causing her legs to buckle and a loud breath to escape her lungs, brown eyes wide with disbelief. She hits the ground, a plume of thin dust escaping from around her form as she lands prone on the sidewalk. She doesn't immediately move; instead, the woman grips her aching sides and writhes, the man's words seemingly falling upon deaf ears.
Only after does a single eye weakly open, glaring up at the God of NESTS. He talks big...but he can't be any better off than herself. Which means, maybe...
She begs her body as she twists on the ground, shuddering and shaking violently as her hands struggle to plant down and push her body upwards. She can't let it end like that--no. She's going to keep fighting--she has to! Her barely-conscious state be damned...she needs to stop him.
Frowning, the woman somehow manages to get into a crouch, poised in front of the self-proclaimed God. "Not. ..done," the woman breathlessly replies, before her body whips upwards. Twisting, she leaps into Igniz at an angle, rising upwards as a leg snaps outwards, to kick him harshly in the jaw. But it won't end there; instead, she twists once more, still ascending as she delivers a second kick at him, with hopes that it will at least level the fight and send him packing.
"YAAA!!"

Igniz fires the woman off, but has he really removed her from his presence? Not at all. She's still moving, ready to go. The god of NESTS, if anything, hopes that she would not get up again. She did, even as he can see it aches, it pains, but she fights it, moving to get back up. And Igniz, standing, can do nothing but watch.
He hovers yet still about the Gedo front steps, even with the fight overtaking much of the front yard. Chun-LI lurches once more, Igniz finding himself in a predicament, unable to strive her off, and unable to get out of the way, the god of NESTS stands, choosing the answer for himself. the rising leg snaps outwards, kicking forward, twisting and delivering a second kick.
Directly into the four fields of chi that stands between them, slowing them down a great deal, but still delivering the strength behind, forcing Igniz back. He looks upon Chun-Li's fallen frame, succeeding where Kula had narrowly failed. He smiles.
But he can not continue. Not wounded as such. The cape shifts about, once more covering up the dented and bloodly frame of Igniz's armor, hiding the god of NESTS away from the world about him. Igniz moves to leave, letting Chun-Li catch her breath in an unconscious, or at least wounded manner.
"You had fought well. But I am not so easily defeated." The overlord of NESTS decrees, "Perhaps... another day, you will challenge my god hood once more." And he leaves, moving as if nothing had happened. A falcity after the fight that took place.
COMBATSYS: Igniz can no longer fight. Is this the end of lovable Igniz?
His shields prove greater than the Strongest Woman's strength. Her kicks fire off, but the bulk of her strikes land against the barriers of chi, dampened what would very likely be a painful encounter of her feet into his face. Still, she ascends, the second kick delivered...before she tumbles to the ground, hitting the ground in a low crouch before slumping forwards. So exhausted is Chun-Li that her body can't even support itself.
Consciousness dares to leave her, as the woman breathes desperately. An eye struggles to stay focused, to keep an eye on the God of NESTS to see if her efforts have paid off- -and it would appear they have. He gives his words before taking his leave, the very audacity of Igniz drawing a weak scowl over the woman's bloodied face.
Next time, she weakly swears to herself. She will make him pay. But for now..?
