Description: Aranha and Himeko square off once again. This time the fight taking place on the rooftop of the Geisel library in San Diego. Himeko utilizes her instant death technique only to find Aranha is very much alive.(Winner: Aranha)
THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA!!!
Or more specifically, San Diego is the local where another amazing neoleague fight is about to take place! It's headed toward evening, and the fighting grounds of choice is the Geisel Library front; a rather amazing structure at a beautiful time of day at that, nice and hot!

The last time our heroine was here, she was fighting in the front. But not this time, now she is going to be fighting at the TOP, the heroine riding a lift to get to the roof; there's a second lift on the other side of the building to! Clad as usual in her pink and black ensamble, Hime wheelies off the lift and onto the sixth floor of the roof, "mmmMMMORTALS!!!" she cries, screeching to a halt and a sudden gust of wind sends the tiny fighters scarf flapping wildly. Fight fanatics cheer from behind the windows!
And the camera crew can only shake their heads. Fighting? Up THERE? This could end up reeeally bad.
And out of the second elevator, comes a light brown-skinned capoeirista. Same capoeirista as before but he's not wearing the same outfit he wears at the slam masters. Instead he opts for loose white pants and a black tank top.
When he takes his first step off of the elevator he pulls out a pair of shades with ear buds on them and slides them on. No sneers, and no attempt at playing a heel. This time there's nothing but a relaxed look on his face as he steps forward to meet Himeko on the roof top. "Looks like we're fighting again. Let's see what you've got."
Hurricane Hime grins at her opponent, "Oh hey, I remember you! I wonder if you've gotten stronger or weaker; I'm going to have to guess 'weaker' since you aren't practicing at the Saikyo Dojo!" she boasts with a laugh.
Yep, she remembers him all right, though is suprised to see him with such a ... Different attitude! "I'm sure this time around you won't be getting fired out of a cannon! ......... ...Uh, I think. Anyway, to show I'm a good sport, I'm going to go ahead and give you the first strike, let's see what -you- got, not me! THEN!" she strikes a pose. "I will flatten you with the SHEER MIGHT of Saikyo! Are you ready? I sure hope you're ready 'cuz I'm ready!" She's ready.. Even in her power ranger like pose!
"YEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHH!!" And the match is signaled to start!

Aranha reserves his kayfabe for the times when he's in the ring with a face and while she's still more of a face than he'll ever be there's a key component missing. The ring. There's also the factor of him not being roughed up by 'R' operatives before the fight. As a result Aranha is a lot more mellow than the previous fight they were in.
"You don't know how many people I've taken down who have gone into fights with me with that much... cockiness." Aranha then pauses for a moment before he speaks again. "Then again I have yet to beat you in a one on one so I suppose you've earned the right to your confidence... for now."
And then Aranha suddenly shoots forward whipping a blue glowing roundhouse kick right for Himeko's head then following it up with a similarly glowing spinning jump kick before finishing with a back flip kick to drive Himeko's face first to the ground.

Standing up straighter, the young Hime just.. Grins at Aranha. Really, what else -can- she do besides grin to the guy? "Haha, my confidence isn't because I've beaten you before, if I have.. I can't even remember actually! So this time it's going to be the real deal, the slate is wiped clean!"
Hime hops from foot to foot and seems to be dropping into a defensive position.. However despite that, the spider actually manages to bust into her before she can get them up! The triple combination of kicks twists her left and right then sends her tumbling back, "YEOW!!"
"... I mean.. Hah! Not bad!" Hime cries, holding the side of her face. And she sprints back at Aranha, leaping upward and twisting at the hip- Looks like she's going to try to return the favor with just a single flying back-kick, "IMMORTAL KICK!!"

And when the flying back kick comes, Aranha drops low to the ground as he spins around. That does two things for Aranha. First was that it brought him out of the way of the kick and secondly, it allowed him to come closer which in turn allows him to shoot a foot right to Himeko's bread basket in a thrusting side kick. Using the thrust kick for momentum he then rises back to his feet.
Once back to a standing position Aranha touches the music player in his shades before swaying to the beat being played on his Oakley Thumps.

Wait a minute what is.. What is Aranha doing over there? Did he just touch his shades? Is he using some sort of secret hax? It's difficult for her to tell really but one thing's for sure.. She's going to have to be a little more careful if it's a secret weapon! Well she's not lucky in getting out of the way of the next kick, it slams firmly into her gut and with an OOF she's just flat on her back this time, looking a little puzzled.
She sits up slightly and cringes, soon up to her feet again. "Geez, I guess someone's been eating their Wheaties today, huh? Well, I've got bad news for you, Aranha.." She grins, "I too have eaten not one.. BUT TWO BOWLS! Enjoy your edge while it lasts, spider man! Wahahaha!"
That said, Hime's darting forward again, and this time she unsheaths the paper fan from her belt, dragging the tip along the floor. It lights up like a match with bright, white energy, that trails when she then SHOOTS upward, to try and slam that energy under the capoeiraists chin to send him flying back, "Wheaties: Breakfast of Champioooooooooons!!"

While it lasts.
That's been the case in all of his matches recently. He'd start out with a bang. Get a significant advantage early on and then lose it just as quickly as he gained it. There's a few have even taken to calling him a choke artist, or a choke-a-rista.
Aranha however has to take things one fight at a time and focus on the here and now. And right now Aranha is being faced with a paper fan being swung at him as Himeko rises up into the air. Aranha moves his forearm in the way to deflect it rocking away from her and then performing a spin to gain a little distance before he whips his arm out at Himeko sending a blue chi spider web at where she ought to be landing from the paper fan uppercut.

Hurricane Hime actually hadn't been keeping up on her homework.. So she hasn't a clue how Aranha's history has been in fights lately.. Maybe she should! But more importantly she's got to pull her own game togeather, and with the shot well in her vision... She's at least able to defend THIS time around, and that's by withdrawing her trusty textbook and thrusts it outward.. It seems to almost be absorbing that energy; at least enough not to knock her away -too- much.
That done, she places the book back into her scarf and strikes a dynamic pose, "OSHYAAAH! So your name isn't for show after all, huh? Haha I have to admit, that was pretty cool! ..... Just not cool like me, of course."
That said the heroine takes a dash forward, and once she's close enough, attempts to grab her opponent by the tank-top, twist and SLAM him to the floor with a classic seoi nage!

And when Himeko grabs for Aranha's tank top, she's in for a very unpleasant surprise. Aranha lets the Saikyo practitioner grab his shirt. If it seemed too easy it was probably because it was a trap. He doesn't let her do it without paying the price. When her hands are occupied by grabbing the shirt, Aranha smashes his glowing forearm in the side of her head with a powerful whipping motion in addition to the twist of his hips. It wasn't enough to keep her from going through with the rest of the throw but it took a lot out of it.
Aranha ends up on the ground but with his fall alot softer than Himeko intended. And he quickly spins back to his feet and back into his dance.
No mighty cry to go along with her throw, the heroine grits her teeth and the next thing she knows.. POW! The heroine's eyes cross and she's completely thrown off-balance the momentum ruined! "RRGH!!" She goes staggering back and slams back first against the library's window. She seems a bit winded from the blow, but her stance is back after she slaps her cheeks on her own. "Ok ok, I'll give you that one too, that wasn't half bad. Not as good as it COULD be, but not ba-" Plink. Something bounces off her head and she catches a quarter in her glove. "... Woah."
The coin is clenched and with a grin she dashes forward again and with the third step, springs off of the ground to roll up into a ball. The intent here is to barrel into her opponent, of course! "ARRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAR!!!"

And Aranha is caught flat footed, unable to get away from the rolling Himeko. Aranha is sent flying through the air and then finds himself falling even harder to the ground. Even still, Aranha is still in fairly good condition and so he's still quick to get back to his feet.
Aranha's lips curl into a bigger smile as he dances and sways to the music in his shades. He obviously has a plan on how to finish out the fight but if there's anything his recent fights have shown him, the plans of mice and men go oft astray. Only time will tell if he can execute on them.
First part of the plan is to move in with another kick before she can recover from the roll. Something balancing speed and power.

Hime can't help but wonder what Aranha may be smiling about.. It's difficult to tell but even the heroine had to admit it's a little unsettling. And so that means to her she'll have to cut him off at the pass before he can set up his plan! Sounds like a good plan!
So when the capoeira fighter is attempting to barrel through her roll.. (???) she's already in the motion of grasping her fan again, and she SWINGS. Well. She actually ends up swinging and missing, leaving her wide open for the kick that's burst forward and smashes her down onto the floor again, "Rrrrf!!" is about all she can say. However despite the condition she's in, looking a little worn out, she's up to her feet again.. But a little slow on doing it. Today just isn't a good day to be Hime!
Aranha didn't quite expect that response or actually that result but he'll definitely roll with it. If anything, Aranha is adaptable and his old plan is thrown out in exchange for a different plan.
The capoeirista decides to continue applying pressure to the Saikyo fighter, swinging a powerful roundhouse kick right for the heroine's head. If that initial roundhouse should land, Aranha will quickly follow it up with a spinning back heel which he uses to hook around the back of her head and then drive her face first, down to ground.

Time to shake the ol' cobwebs out of the head and get it back togeather! Hime shakes herself out, and then seems to be back in business! "OK!" the heroine blurts out, hands clenched into fists. "Lets take it again FROM THE TOP, Spider-Man!!" So Aranha won't be taking advantage of her dazed state, she catches sight of the well executed first kick by doing something she's never done before. She throws up a block with her arm. "NNNGH!!" And of course it really.. REALLY hurts. She has enough time to withdraw her book with her opposite hand, and uses it as a shield to fend off the second kick which forces her to drop to a crouch on her knees, her eyes crossed. ".. owwwww."
So now what? Well, she's going to have to kick things up a notch and she's bursting forward, "TAKE ME HOME, COUNTRY FEET!!" launching a leaping knee to Aranha's gut.. And if she's successfull, follows up with side kick and then a big back kick!

Aranha recoils from his powerful kick combo with a spin away from the weapon based Saikyo fighter. Luckily it gives the capoeirista time to back off away from that initial knee and then sway out of the way of the side kick before dropping backwards and doing Neo's dodge in the Matrix to bring him under the back kick.
With disaster at the hands of Himeko he plants a hand down on the ground and throws his entire body up and backwards into a one handed handstand then swings his free hand around to generate momentum as he goes into a rapid spin with legs wide open to kick Himeko as he spins like a human hurricane.

So lets get something straight here.. Is Aranha trying to get it on Hurricane Hime's scthick be becoming a human hurricane?? "Wh- WHAT?? NO WAY!!" Hime cries, both as Aranha manages to slip away from her super combination, AS WELL as the rapid spinning attack headed her way. It's kind of like a spinning bird kick it looks like and the first kick hits nothing harder than SOLIDLY. But then it's her turn!
"This isn't Hurricane Aranha!!!" she yells, one ankle wrapped up in a strip of paper, and the fighter is suddenly forced to a halt, slung over her shoulder and slammed down onto the ground! She springs upward into the air, a flurry of papers whipping up to her opposite hand that takes the form of a sledgehammer that she then slams down into the mans back, "ORYAAAH!!" The papers explode, she then grabbing Aranha by his shoulders to stand him back up and connects solidly with a backflip kick knocking him into the air, and is finalized with a YANK of the strip at his ankle to slam him onto the floor a final time!
Hurricane Hime turns her back to the camera.. The crowd waits eagerly for her to strike a DYNAMIC POSE! ... Only to face the disappointment of her just collapsing face first to the ground. ".. Unngh."
Aranha has been swung around like rag doll and beaten and battered by the sledgehammer of paper before being tossed about yet again. It's enough to be disorienting. The only comfort he receives is that his kick does its job in finishing her off.
Aranha's a bit slower to get up this time due to the pain. He's not quite as fresh as he was before but he does have something to say to Himeko. "Well I guess suicide is a valid strategy." Aranha pauses to slide the shades off of his face and pocket them before walking to the elevator from which he came.
There's another pause in his step. "Though if you were just going to hand me the fight, there's better ways to go about it. The words, 'I give up,' is a very good choice."
COMBATSYS: Aranha has ended the fight here.
"... Oh man.." Hime groans, planting her hands on the ground and pushes herself up slightly. Her vision's a little blurry, but when she sees Aranha her jaw just.. Just drops. "Wh- Wha- Wh.... Wh..."
And she's up on her knees, clasping her head, "NO WAY, HOW DID YOU SURVIVE THAT??? CHEATING!!" she cries at the top of her lungs, and shakes her head. However she then relaxes a bit, and smirks, shifting herself up to a knee as she brushes some loose strands of hairs from her face. ".. Hmmn, give up or destroy you with my instant death technique.. Ooooh.. Hmmmnn... Mmmm.. Wow... Wow, that's a really difficult choice, I'm gonna have to think looong and hard about that one and I'll get back to you on it!"
And with that she gives a salute to her departing opponent. "No, seriously, I'll let you know later, because -man-, that one is a real brain scratcher! Buh-bye now!" she waves to Aranha with a bright, if not slightly groggy, grin.
"If that was supposed to be an instant death technique, it needs work. It was instant alright but no death." After that the elevator door closes and Aranha is on his way but he's still wearing the mic and so while Himeko might not hear it now, she'll either hear on the broadcast of the fight or on the uncut version of the NL DVD, "Man, what an idiot."
