Description: Aranha comes back home to Southtown only to find that past transgressions aren't forgiven. The Spider squares off against Aranha in an effort to teach the capoeirista some respect and instead Aranha adds a few more offenses to the list and puts the damage to the bar on the Spider's tab.
It's only fairly recently that Aranha has been back from Metro City and it turns out his personal vendetta against Blackjack was a bust if only it was because he was beaten to the punch by the Guardian Kings. As a result, Aranha has come back to his haunts to both make money and keep his ears to the street.
Most would find it odd to find the young fighter in the bar but he doesn't cause trouble makes people laugh and while he doesn't drink the alcohol, he does buy himself soda and does tip well, making the bartender less likely to throw him out on his kiester.
The Dancing Spider has just finished a game of poker and seems to be doing well for himself if you look at chip count. Is it luck or is it the fact that he has a mind for the game? Possibly both.
There's a jingle as the door opens, and shuts behind a slim, short figure. The Spider smokes a cigarette, peering about the bar from behind his aviator's sunglasses. He spots his target, and tosses his butt under foot, stomping it out. Slowly, surely, he walks through the bar, towards Aranha.
Upon hearing the jingle he turns towards the door to spot the slim man walking through the door. At first he doesn't seem to think anything of it giving a nod to the newcomer before going about his business(of collecting his money).
It's not until he hears the sound of combat boots making their b-line towards him that he truly pays Spider attention where before it was a more passive form to know where he was. Aranha looks up at the Spider and then finally speaks maintaining a tone of civility, "Can I help you?"

The Spider's eyes remain impassive, hidden behind sunglasses. In a flat tone, he states, "Present from Rugal." He then lashes out with a hand, attempting to grab Aranha by the throat and lift him out of his chair, before smashing him into the table. "Happy birthday, motherfucker."

At first Aranha doesn't exactly know what to think when he reaches out for his throat. He just knows that he doesn't want whatever Spider has planned for him. He's forced to lean out of the way of the throat grab and dropping into a roll on the ground, away from his attacker. "First that crazy Asian chick, then Capital 7 thing, and now you? Well I can forget about coming back here again."
Of course the reason isn't because of the fact that the fight is being started here. It's the fact that Aranha is kicking one of the chairs at Spider. "I'm just not worth the trouble."

The Spider catches the chair, tossing it aside. "My employer disagrees," is all the Spider states, rolling his head to the side and cracking his neck. He waits with his hands at his sides, watching for Aranha's approach like a waiting falcon.
And approach, Aranha does. Though after seeing how Spider handled that chair, he knows he'll have to be more careful with how he makes his own attacks, less he shares his fate with that chair.
He doesn't do anything intricate with his attack preferring in this case to keep things simple snaps out quick kick to the 'R' employee's side. He doesn't argue with Spider as to the benefits of leaving him alone since he's running under the assumption that they won't be drinking the kool-aid.

The Spider's arm lashes out, intercepting the kick with a light thump. His other hand flashes to the ankle, and he attempts to catch Aranha in a lock, wrenching his leg to the side, before slamming his knee up into the heel. He hopes to mangle the foot.

Aranha attempts to pull his foot away however Spider is too quick about catching his foot in the lock and he's helpless as to do anything about the knee grunting in pain as the impact is delivered. Desperate, Aranha finally pulls his feet away as he leans into a backbridge and throws his hips up and over to land on his feet... Or rather his foot.
The capoeirista is not looking happy about the situation one bit. Dropping to one knee, he reaches down to rub his ankle as he stares at Spider.

The Spider's hands reach out for Aranha, as he stays on the offensive. He attempts to get his arm under Aranha's shoulder as he turns to the side, hoping to fling Aranha headlong into the liquor bottles over the bar. "Put it on my tab," he quips in a cold monotone.

Aranha, given the fact that he's kneeling on the ground shouldn't be able to do much about the other fighter flinging him across the room like a rag doll. Even still, one has to wonder if Spider had just walked into a trap.
Aranha knows he can't do much about being thrown and so he doesn't resist it. He just makes sure that the other fighter pays for it in the form of rising up as he swings a blue glowing elbow right to the family jewels just a mnoment before he's grabbed and thrown aside twisting as he comes back down in attempt to protect his own body as he does eventually hit the bottles.
The Spider gets struck in the groin, falling to the ground. He briefly writhes and squirms, before he stands back up, with a bit of a limp. "That wasn't nice." He grabs a nearby table and hurls it after Aranha, hoping to slam him while he's behind the bar.

It's fortunate that Aranha was tossed behind the bar. It gave him some time to see the attack coming before it actually came. As a result Aranha rocks backwards before spinning forwards with a backhanded release of a blue chi energy web which in turn bursts through the table leaving it in splinters as it continues onward towards Spider.
What does Aranha have to say to that? "Put that on his tab too." After all, he did throw it. It's only fair.

The Spider rushes forward as the chi strikes him in the chest, a knife in his hand as he reaches into his jacket. He aims to hand spring over the bar, kicking into Aranha to knock him prone. Then, it's all up to his blade to do some dancing.

Aranha watches as the Spider takes his energy web to the chest in his rush to bring things back into close range. Unfortunately for the 'R' operative, Aranha is still very quick leaning out of the way of the kick which would be herald of much nastier things to come.
Aranha begins to dance again before he suddenly leaps up to stand on the counter and in turn using it to launch himself right for Spider feet first driving that foot that Spider himself tried to injure into the side of his head. More confirmation to the fact that Aranha wasn't as injured as he looked.

The Spider's arm whips up again, knocking the foot to the side. He steps in fast and gets inside Aranha's reach. His hand lashes out at Aranha's chest with a palm strike, aimed to knock the wind out of his foe.

Aranha knows that this palm strike is not something he can really dodge since Spider had moved in close to him and cutting off that option. He can't really afford to take it dead on either considering slowing down is just not an option. He wants to get the hell out. And he gets the feeling Spider won't let him do it as long as he's conscious.
Aranha is in too tight a space to utilize this move at its most ideal and so he's forced to change the delivery of his combo, thrusting a glowing blue foot, in a powerful side kick, then leaping up as he performs a jumping side kick also glowing with blue chi, finishing with a backflip, and upon landing thrusting out with a third glowing kick which would ideally knock him back over the counter so Aranha can get back into the open again.

As the combination begins, the Spider just smirks. He turns to the side as his right fist lashes out at Aranha's chest, levelling a crushing blow against the solar plexus. He retains the pose for a moment, before slowly moving back to a standing position with his hands at his sides.
Aranha finds himself stumbling backwards as the impact meets with his torso, causing him to cough a bit before shrugging and reaching down to the ground for a shard of broken glass from the broken bottles from earlier. It's one of the larger shards and so he flings the piece of glass like a make shift shuriken right before he vaults over the counter to finally free himself from the tight space provided the counter.

The Spider simply steps aside from the glass, allowing it to strike the wall and shatter. He slowly turns his head to face Aranha again, his mouth thinning and pulling to the side in a mean scowl. He jumps up, landing on the counter, and staring down at Aranha.

Well not getting attacked was sort of a good thing. Sort of because he's noticing Spider's breathing getting better which wasn't quite such a good thing. To be honest, Aranha would rather take the other fighter's legs from under him. As a matter of fact, that's exactly what he attempts to do swinging a roundhouse kick above the counter and right for the 'R' employee's leg.

The Spider gets taken down by the roundhouse, falling beneath the bar and slamming his head. He numbly lays on the ground in the pool of booze for a few moments, regaining his bearings.
That was not exactly what he planned. He wanted to take the fight from behind the counter and inadvertantly brings the fight back behind the bar. Though he very much wants to sigh at the development, he finds silence is probably golden at this point.
With a quick hop, he's on the counter where he then props himself up into a cartwheel which carries him the rest of the way over the bar, and landing feet first on Spider backing up to let the other fighter get back to his feet.

As Aranha flies over the edge of the counter, the Spider explodes upwards with an uppercut cramming right into the base of Aranha's sternum, sending him flying. The Spider sweeps his legs over the bar, landing on the other side. He idly cracks his knuckles as he waits for Aranha to recover.
Perhaps Aranha will get his chance to fight out into the open, which is good news. The bad news is that Aranha had to take an uppercut to the sternum to make it happen. His body is sent flying up and over landing in a crumpled heap right next to a table.
The capoeirista slowly pulls himself back up to his feet a grim look on his face before he's suddenly upon Spider.
He suddenly opens up with an outside crescent kicks followed by spinning back heel kicks delivered while touching the ground and following with more spinning kicks occasionally changing directions as he attempts to flood Spider with chi-laced kicks before finishing with a series of spinning handstand kicks which are also covered in blue chi.

The Spider blocks several of the blows, but is caught by most of them, staggering backwards. Blood oozing from his mouth, he hisses, "Not yet you don't!" His cryptic words aside, he runs forward and attempts to get Aranha in a reverse headlock with a grapple, before aiming a chop at the spot between two vertebrae.

When the Spider reaches for Aranha's head, Aranha thinks it better to back off. The attempted grapple finds nothing but air as the young African American off to the side and then cartwheels past the 'R' Operative knowing well that he can't take much more punishment.
"I think I just did." Aranha's smile is quite smug as he looks at the Spider. "Like I said, I'm not worth the trouble."
The Spider narrows his eyes at Aranha, reaching into his jacket and drawing a handgun. He's about to pull the trigger, but he passes out from the pain of his beating, falling on the ground in a heap.
Oh right... Bringing a gun to a fist fight. Unfortunately Aranha has a bad record against 'R' fighters wielding guns and so he gets ready to move. Anything to keep from getting hit though he's mentally prepared for the worst. That is until the Spider falls flat on his face.
Aranha walks up to the fallen fighter and then brings his foot down on the back of his head taking a moment to grind his Tims on the back of his head and then only removes his foot to spit at him before he turns to count out his winnings from the poker game. A few is taken to pay for the drinks at his table, plus a few hundred extra for the bartender's trouble. "As for the rest of the damage," he says as goes to leave, "that's coming from his pocket."
