Description: Igniz and Ken duke it out in Ken's territory! It's down to the wire, as both parties get rather heated up in battle! Not one to miss! ( Winner: Ken )
A powerful fighter? Ken hasn't even HEARD of this guy, but apparently he's got some special abilities. Ken isn't impressed or really believing what he hears. Still, a Neo League fight is a Neo League fight and Ken will battle to be the best.
Looking about the arena with mild disinterested, the American Karate champ stretches as the audience looking down on him cheers him on. He could be fighting a rock and some of these people would flip out. After stretching out his legs, Ken begins to tighten his arm guards, merely waiting for the announcer to call out his foe and get this fight started. If the guy is powerful, he wants to get to the fight. If the fight for the night is a pansy, Ken wants the massacre over in time so he can enjoy a nice supper with his wife and kid.
Igniz is somewhat tha just recently decided that he had not wanted to continually sit in the shadow. His business of being the god of NESTS could simply run in the shadows forever, cloning and army and striking out at those that warrented it.
He chose today to come out in the open, with his name and abilities. Perhaps a few would know his name? It would be a great global recognization. And what better place to broadcast his power than with Ken Masters in Masters Stadium?
As the crowd cheers for Ken even before the man makes his way out, Igniz simply comes out, covered in shaded purple cloak. He moves, making his way towards center ring. He certainly doesn't seem to be lacking in the show department however, as he finally comes to a stop on his side.
"So this is the great Ken Masters?" A voice asks from beneath the cloak, echoing slightly. "Very well then." Igniz starts, raising his arms as a bright light seers from above Igniz, appearing from no where at all. The cloak changes, floating, whistling as it takes shape of a battle suit, most of the suit lifting up from an unidentifiable breeze, hanging each cloth in air, rustling where there is no wind. And finally, a heavenly prayer is heard for a moment. Just a single moment.
Now, Igniz is ready, both feet directly next to each other. His is, most certainly, unexpected. Palm are face up towards Ken. "Shall we begin?"

There is a long pause as Ken looks toward Igniz's entrance. Most people are taken back by the lightshow and mysterious power that seems to surround this enigmatic challenge. After all, it seems like this guy might be on par with Vega.
Ken, however, just spits on the ground. "You ready to fight or do we need to wait until you sprout out some frickin' angel wings?" he offers with a confident smirk, merely sliding into position. "Let me know when you're ready to fight, girly man."
The silence of the crowd. What a sound to behold! He had not been held in silence in a very great time. Perhaps they are praying to him? He's certain that they must be. And when Ken decideds to spit, he instantly gets Igniz's attention. Such a vile practice.
Igniz doesn't react at first, slowly looking up towards Ken. Did he just do such a thing? Taunt a god? He had indeed. Something that the god of NESTS could not let go too lightly.
Igniz moves, almost floating forward from how he holds himself, rather walking almost on air. Quickly crossing the gap in a moments notice, Igniz is already directly there. "Mock me? What a terrible practice." Igniz begins, moving his hand forward, a whip appearing as if out of nowhere, biting for Ken Masters as it strikes out, barbs singing through the air as it moves.

"A terrible practice? But why?" Ken's banter is put on hold for a few seconds as the first attack is unleashed at him. It's fast. Reeeeeal fast. Still, despite this, Ken raises an arm to defend himself from the powerful whip strike. He protects the vitals, but the whip tears into the arm guard, drawing some blood already. While Ken's concerned for a second at the power and speed, his confidence returns swiftly enough. "...Am I going to hurt your wittle feelweeeengs?"
That said, Ken dashes across the sand to get to the all black threads. Should he get a hold of the chest armor-shirt-thing, he will pull back to try and get Igniz off balance. If it works, Ken will roll back and launch the light haired man away with a push of his foot against the bishie man's chest. If Igniz wants to play the speed game, he'll entertain it. Will he surpass it? That remains to be seen.

Even as Ken throws himself fully at Igniz, the man could simply see what he was moving towards. And Igniz doesn't seem otherise too against giving him what he wants. "Oh no." Igniz begins, "That's not it at all." The god of NESTS begins. A small grin comes over his face. There are things that could be worse, that's for certain.
And then Ken comes after the man, attempting to grab his chest and lunch the man. And Igniz... lets Ken? Most certainly, allowing himself to be tossed backwards. He rumbles, the suit crumbling as he's hurled, but he comes to a simple end, floating up rather quickly, even with the dents about it. He doesn't wait, a blast of chi searing forward from when it was created, moving across the ground as it races towards Ken Masters, pulsating as pure white chi.

Ken flips to his feet as soon as the throw is seemingly successful. Of course, when he gets up, he only has a second or so to reach to the attack that is launched his way. Man, this guy is the real deal. Putting his arms together, Ken gives a cry of "Hadouken!" as he channels blue energy, launching it for the chi attack coming his way.
The two forces collide, but the Divine Arrow seems to have more power. Tearing into Ken he gets thrown back, landing on one hand and both of his feet in a couched position. The shore of the artifical lake laps again Ken's feet as he stands up, his eyes showing a higher level of intensity. He still smirks though, clearly doing this out of spite if nothing else.
Even as Ken make his move, Igniz watches. It was a rather smart one, as it seems. He even hears the cry of HADOKEN before the two forms of chi connect, only for Igniz's own to power through, reduced in effectiveness, but still leaving its mark upon Masters, sending him into the lake. Igniz merely begins to proceed to get closer for his own will.
"A very valiant effort," Igniz states, moving upon the water and floating as if he was a god. Most certainly he must be if he's able to do such a think, "But I'm afraid it isn't enough." Igniz says, rather factually, as if he knew it all along.
This isn't possible, but it is, however, most certainly Igniz's style. As he gets as close to Ken as possible, a punch is thrown, bluring as it strikes out. Nothing but simple and brutal effectiveness. Nothing more, nothing less.

The crowd is complaining already. After all, it seems like Ken is clearly outclassed if this guy can outpower his chi attacks and hit him hard. Still Ken has some tricks up his sleeve. As Igniz attempts to pull a Jesus meets Mike Bison, Ken pulls his free hand to his side, still in a crouched position. This is it… Time to see if Lady Luck cares. The powerful fist goes for Ken's face and Ken takes the opening when he sees it.
"Shoryuken!"
A loud crack is heard as the two fists find their mark. Ken flips in mid air, landing on his feet in a standing position this time, the force of the attack taking him near the woods now. While Igniz's blow was a straight forward blow, Ken's was a powerful uppercut coated in flames. It seems Ken's blow did the better job. "How about THAT, Iggie? Better?" Aw, Ken found Igniz a new nickname already. He should feel flattered.
Igniz hasn't fought either Ken or Ryu, and it seems to show at the moment, as as he watches, striking out towards Ken, but finding rather quickly tat it was not meant to be. Ken fires an uppercut directly into Igniz's chest even as the blow comes, the strike sending Igniz flying into the air, the fiery fist sending him flying backwards. He sneer as he's thrown, finally landing against the sand that he had dealt with... against Kain.
Grasping the sand with both fists, Igniz finds himself calmed quickly. Lifting up, even with the powerful blow to his battlesuit, he finds nothing but the ability to out wait Ken for the moment being.
"Better." Igniz says without malice or a teachers guiding voice, just fact, as if his word was law. "But we will see quite soon." Igniz speaks, allowing himself to float. With both hands, he becons Ken, watching, waiting for Ken to make his move.

Igniz is not a man Ken can afford to underestimate. That's why even after his powerful counter; Ken is readying himself for a tough fight. Igniz seems to be trying to prepare himself for something... Or waiting for Ken to make a wrong move. Either way, it means that the American Champ will have to be careful in how he operates.
A Hadouken would be a nice way to force Igniz to push his hand, but if he has more powerful than Ken, he likely would just punch through the Hadouken with one of his own chi attacks like the last time. Time for something else then. Sprinting across the sand, Ken tries a simple jab punch right for Igniz's nose, trying to give him a nose bleed before leaping back. Clearly Ken is trying to play it safe, but when fighting someone like Igniz, safe really shouldn't come into the equation at all.

Ken was most undoutably playing it safe. And safe it was. Even as the rther amazing quick punch rockets towards Igniz, the leader of NESTS could only imagine what to do first. And, simply, he would make sure he would not repeat the mistakes he had made against Kain. As Ken powers his way still as the god of NESTS, the man could not care less. No Hadoken comes, but instead, a simple punch, pushing itself towards Igniz's body? Pitiful. Igniz snarls as the fields come up to stop as much as he can possibly stop, looking towards Ken with a rather annoyed view. "You play games with me?" The man begins.
And then he's off, firing himself forward towards Ken, actually grasping a hold of his cape, spinning forward and directly towards Ken. The two chi amplifiers on the cape also scrape up, little knives and needles seemingly lining the edge.
Each scrape up, spiraling up towars Ken, attempting to pick him up, and hurl him back into the air only to be scraped by the chi laden ends of the cape. It most certainly wasn't a normal technique one would see everyday.

The powerful cape attempts to shred Ken into a sexy meat. While Ken may complain later about Igniz needing clothes to fight him, the King of Fighters is more concerned about surviving the attack. Raising his arm, Ken merely finds himself in the zone. His body is a mix between a stone wall and a tidal wave. The chi explodes against Ken's wounded arm like water against a cliff, the chi seeping into Ken's arm wound and seemingly healing it. "Yes, I am," Ken replies confidently once the cap has been repelled. "And in this game, you're nothing but a joke!" Now the pride has come in. Does this mean that now Ken is doomed to failure? One way to find out.
Thinking that he has a nice opening, Ken tries to reach out for the chest plate yet again. Should he get it, he will toss Igniz to the nearest tree. In the split second where Ken lets go and Igniz is still close by though, Ken spins around to give a powerful roundhouse toward the NEST VIP if his initial attack pulls through like its supposed to.

Through taunting and twisting, Ken will surely find himself somewhere he may want to be. But in the same time, it could be said that Ken could easily find himself. The cape scratches and strike, but it doesn't budge him, it doesn't move him. Instead, all it does is propell Igniz closer and closer towards the fighter before finally coming to a halt infront of him.
Many fighters here would be doomed. Unable to move, unable to escape due to the sheer distance they are away. And Ken, after it all, decides to speak down to Igniz. A joke? There would be no joke here tonight.
"A joke, Masters?" Igniz hisses, "The only joke here is you!" The man cries, hissing as Ken reaches out for the chest plate, aiming to grap it. Mid reach, Igniz's hand explodes out, stopping moment infront of Ken's chest.
A swirling blast of chi forms in an instant, shining out towards his chest, and even before Ken can get going, explodes outwatrds, cutting into Ken's chest, white chi errupting out with a great force. Igniz would not be made a fool of.
The Street Fighter sails through the air, landing with a painful thud on his back. He doesn't move for a few seconds, but after some time, he finds his feet and slowly gets back up. "No one... calls me a joke..." Ken begins as he breaths in and out, the pain of the assault stealing his pride as well as any hope that this would be a quick fight. This time around, Ken is the one that doesn't move. His eyes look toward Igniz as he gives a smirk. This one isn't one of pride, but a wicked smirk as Ken hunkers down like a cat, readying to go on the offensive as soon as he finds a good time to attack.

Igniz watches as Ken hunkers down, landing fully at his feet. Igniz watches and waits for him to come again. But he doesn't. He stays back, slowly getting to his feet. Hunkering down like a cat. Waiting for Igniz to strike? Was Ken truly as suicidal to wait for the god of NESTS next move? But being the nice man that Igniz was, he would not keep Ken waiting any further.
"But that's exactly what you are, Ken." Igniz states as he begins his advance, moving towards the man with a violent intent. Foot fall after foot fall, the only real one he had taken earlier is provided. And then, he simply fires himself forward. Streaking across the ground towards Ken.
A single hand is sent to cut Ken, and if able to grasp, he would take him against the edge of the Masters Stadium, pinning him there. But that was only the beginning.

The hand of Igniz goes out to grab Ken, but it doesn't find what it seeks. While it holds onto a part of Ken, it's his arm rather than his chest which is raised in a defensive position. The charge forces Ken back, his feet making trenches in the sand as he find himself moving toward the wall. Igniz is planning something, but Ken is able to take the energy of the attempted attack and put it to better use.
Ken's free hand tries to grab onto Igniz's cloak around the shoulder area, hoping to get a good hold for what heis about to do next. He tries to roll back, not once, but twice, as he attempts to cast off Igniz like he did for the last rolling throw. This time there is much more speed involved, making the lead up easier to notice... But if Ken gets a good toss in, the powerful long haired warrior might find himself the one whose back gets slammed into the wall.

Igniz couln't see that coming. It happened once before, but before Igniz could get a simple grasp upon Ken, he's already stopped. And quickly by Masters. He's unable to even understand what is happening. And then, Igniz is rolled once, twice, three times as he's sent flying backwards, rolling up and hurling against the wall.
Grunting as he strikes, Igniz simply looks rather bamboozled. He must have been having rather terrible luck, but it doesn't matter. He'll still find a way to overcome such a brute. Looking about for anything, the god of NESTS simply plucks a few blades off of his cape before tossing them towards Ken in an attempt to slow him down.

The assortment of knives digs into the trees with ruthless force, but Ken Masters escapes harm as he leaps to the side. One of the blades niches some of his hair, a couple golden strains falling to the ground. "Nice toss," Ken replies, a thin cut on his cheek revealing itself soon after. "But if you aren't good enough to fight me without weapons, you shouldn't have even stepped into the ring."
Able to be on the offensive once more, Ken leaps into the air, spinning one of his legs out to appear like a top of doom. He whips his leg around and around and comes right for Igniz. Should he get to his foe, Ken will lash at him with his leg a few times, giving the famous name with his powerful technique.
"Tatsumaki Senpuu Kyaku!"

Even as Ken comes once more, Igniz can only just not escape him. It seems no matter what the man is doing, Ken is just going to dominate him. However, Igniz will, if anything, attempt to pull out some what of victory, even if the victory is quite small. It doesn't matter quite so much. Not much at all.
But then Ken jumps into the air, leaping before striking at Igniz with a few kicks, sending the god of NESTS backwards. Each hurt greatly, but Igniz is still not out no matter how bad it truely looks.
Looking up towards Ken Masters, even as he rises to his feet mostly broken, Igniz hurls himself towards Ken, sending out a quick punch, striking out at the mans chest.

The punch meets with Ken's forearm. While it was previously wounded, it seems to have healed up rather nicely, or at least it was until the fist reopens the whip cut. Gritting his teeth from the pain, Ken takes his foot, attempting to plant it right into Igniz's gut. A simple attack, but sometimes it's the straight forward moves that are needed for a situation.

No more. No more! Igniz is tired, beaten, bruised and painfully reminded, once and again why Ken Masters is the master of the stadium, Master of Neo League, but Igniz is a god. A god of NESTS. He would not be beaten so easily. Not at all. He will crush Masters, or he will look like a fool trying. Ken fires back a strike, a nice kick sent into the side of Igniz. But the god does not take it easily. The shield comes up once more, preventing the full strike from going through.
And then, all of a sudden, Igniz flares with white immaculate chi. He rushes out once more, arm moving towards Ken's throat.
"I WILL NOT BE MADE A FOOL OF!"

Upon Igniz's hand getting wrapped about Ken's neck, something happens that's most unexpected. The area changes, becoming more heavy, black, as if everything was swapped in an instant.
Slamming Ken against the wall, moments pass, the world seems to watch all at once, and from there, Igniz prepares. At first, his cape lashes out, biting and cutting into Ken's figure, searing and striking, almost like needles do they inject themselves into Ken. Afterwards, a strike of a whip is given, colliding with Ken and striking some more, barbs tearing at the man.
"Why do you even try? It's hopeless!" Igniz cries, each four chi emmiters on the suit floating upwards before striking out towards Ken, four large erruptions of chi at once. But it doesn't stop there.
Instead, Igniz raises his hands up. Chi violently expands, a ball of throbbing white chi. And then he thrusts it into Ken, all at once, expanding rapidly as it courses through his body.
"FEEL THE POWER OF A GOD, AND DISPAIR!" Igniz cries, completely lost all sense of formality, giving in to his godly rage. Bleeding, broken, Igniz shall not give in until he's forced to.
The famed fighter decides that he doesn't want to get hit again. He tries to weave out of the way like he did the knives, but apparently Igniz has gotten some luck or learned the trick and Ken finds himself in a heaping load of pain.
The powerful assault tears into Ken while the crowd is silent in shock and awe. Ken's bloody body falls to the ground, but he is able to catch himself on his hands and knees. Blood spatters onto the sand from his chest and shoulders, but he doesn't quit. After a cous Ken rises back up to his feet. He's a mess at this point, but he still has the desire to win and that is exactly what he plans to do here.
"Power of a god, huh?" Ken offers with a faint smirk. "You are just like Vega. You think that just because you have some power, you're more than a man." Igniz might notice that Ken's power is focusing, his hazy aura visible as his body begins to give off intense heat. "But you're just a man. And Ken Masters is gunna show you just how mortal you are!"
Moving for Igniz in a flood of motion, Ken's fist explodes into flames. He tries to give a small uppercut, one that only takes him a couple of inches into the air. It's enough to let him spin about, kneeling down to try it again. Presuming he can get those two uppercuts off without interruption, he goes for the final and most powerful uppercut, which will send Ken into the air and perhaps Igniz too if it hits hard enough. Ken doesn't offer an attack name this time, just giving a loud battle cry as he puts his all into this move.

Mortal? Igniz? What a thought! One that Igniz could simply not let pass, even as Ken stands valiently against him. "You dare call me a mortal?!" Igniz says, puffing out angerly. His cloak splays out, rustling about as he pivots himself towars Ken. Even as the man continues to push himself over him, the god of NESTS does not back down. "I am more than Vega! I have already told you what I am!"
Chi crackles about Igniz's figure. He doesn't move, just waiting for Ken to approach him. He's just watching, waiting for him to get closer. His angery gestures will have to be enough for now.
And then Ken rushes forward, exploding into flames as he moves to send Igniz with a small uppercut. And then it stops there.
A field, none like what had protected Igniz against the multitude of attacks rise. Flaring up and out towards Ken, as if a portal made of purple chi. Ken's fist strikes... but finds nothing to purchase save for the strike powering against his own, sending him back in a push of chi. "You know nothing about who you are dealing with!" Igniz bites, blood streaking down his face. "But you will know soon!"
What the heck just happened, Ken wonders from the ground. That should have been the end of the fight, yet somehow something really wrong occurred. Luck must have left him... After all, he was able to take out Vega without breaking a sweat in that freaky dreamscape fight, why would he have difficulty with someone he's never even heard of before? Either way, he can't stop. Not when he's fighting a no one. Not when he's losing.
The forcefield of awesome repelled Ken, but he flips back to his feet. He almost falls forward, but he catches himself at the last second. "You're right. I don't know. And I don't care. Because I've seen you at your best. While it's given me a good fight..." Ken pauses to spit up some crimson lifeforce. "I'm done playing!" Ken gives a loud cry as he races forward Igniz. He doesn't have the power to do the same move again, but he somehow finds the strength to put just about everything he has into one powerful uppercut, the flames attempting to make their mark on Igniz one final time. If it fails, Lady Ludy will have officially turned her back on Ken for the rest of the fight. It wouldn't be the first time… And surely it wouldn't be the last.

Pain. That's all Igniz understands as his blood runs cold. Ken's strikes hit him, one after the other. He gracefully attempts to get out of the way, only tobe thwarted as Ken's strike finds purchase on him. It lands, striking against the man with a flming uppercut. It sends him flying, hurled into the air without a chance to stop it. Just as he had not imagined. Truely Ken was a combatant.
But as Igniz lands, he bounces a few moments. But he lays there. Bleeding. He doesn't strike at first, no, but he finds himself. Slowly and surely, the man raises from the ground, defeated, yet not done. Not just yet.
"KEN MASTERS!" Igniz cries, "I WILL NOT BE THE ONLY TO FALL!" He cries once more, hurling a globe of pulsating energy towards him, sending it streaking across the air, attempting to connect as pulsating white chi, and finish Ken off as well.
Meanwhile Igniz falls backwards, defeated. He begins to crawl out off the stage, aided only by his battlesuit. It hovers even for a moment. But he is defeated. He must escape however, like any good villain would.

Ken leaps out of the way of the final attack, giving a action hero like cry as he does. Sand that was kicked up rains on him for a couple of seconds, but Ken slowly begins to rise up. He's literally running on empty, a limp noticable as the battle rush begins to leave him, but he was standing at the end of the fight. He knows it won't be the last time he faces Igniz and he's sure Igniz won't forget this defeat. Hopefully, he isn't as evil a guy as Vega. Only time will tell.
