Description: Yurika Kirishima moves on to Justice High school, seeking the Ninja Princibear himself. Despite being wary (and for good reason), he's more than happy to volunteer in the female Kirishima's event.
It took a.. Considerable amount of thought on how to approach the matter, but the bottom line was that of all candidates; Justice High's principle would be the best person for the job.
Yurika Kirishima, clearly, has a problem in her hands. She had been left in the dark on the relationship between Kurow and Raizo; she has no idea what the principle knows and doesn't know. The smart thing would be to assume he knows everything but if that were the case, wouldn't things have shut down long ago?
At this point there was only one option, and it was the option she always hated the most- Leaping into the fire unprepared. The good thing is that this would be good training to keep thinking on her toes and, really, it was about time she stepped out of the dark and saw things with her own eyes anyway. In normal circumstances, Yurika Kirishima is accompanied by a bodyguard of some sort but she decided to take this on alone as a mild safety procaution (however -that- works.) Having been on the grounds before she knows exactly were Raizo's office is, and is making the motions to get there, dressed pretty much as she always is: In her seijyun uniform attire, and a somewhat pleasent expression on her face.
Raizo Imawano, CHAMPION OF THE OPPRESSED, is doing exactly what he always does on Sunday, which is to say, not being in his office.
However, apparently he /is/ on campus, for some daft reason. Perhaps he lives there - either way, as Yurika makes her way toward the main building, a massive figure emerges from the school. He is for some reason dressed up in his typical business clothes - a tan suit and slacks, white shirt, the whole works! He is also incredibly ludicrously huge, being easily a full foot taller than Yurika herself, and equally broad. He looks like nothing so much as he looks like a cube on legs.
He is addressing a file folder, held in one clawed hand while he mumbles thoughtfully about it, apparently some report or another--and then he looks up, and stops.
"...Miss Kirishima?" he mumbles. And then, louder, as a greeting: "Hello, there! Not often I see a student on campus, this time of week. Least of all when it's from another school. How are you?"
Well that's convenient. As her attention is caught by Raizo, she realizes that she isn't going to need to leave any sort of request of attendance after all. Lucky or no? She can't help but feel the slightest hint of intimidation; she had forgotten just how massive the man was in person, and she's somewhat aware of all the skill that is behind said large body. When she stops to think about it, really, he's someone that she could learn from and that's something she'll have to keep in mind for.. Well. Another time.
Raizo's greeting is returned with a graceful curtsey, "Good day to you, Principle Imawano. I apologize for not having met you sooner but.. Since having been elected Council President, I've been kept very very busy correcting Seijyun issues. I actually wished to request an appointment for you later this week but it seems fortune is smiling on me.. Well, that is if you have the time to discuss a school related matter."
'Correcting Seijyun issues'? Now that's an ominous phrase, coming from a Kirishima. But Raizo's more than capable of pretending to have no intention of throwing someone off a bridge, and thus he offers Yurika a big friendly bear grin. He's a terrifying man, all things considered - looks more like he ought to be eating children than teaching them, with fingernails sharpened to a razor's edge and hair that has aged to look more like a mane than a beard. The grin makes him look like he's about to start lunch. Still, his voice is friendly enough: "I can hardly blame you for keeping busy, Miss Kirishima. Seijyun has had some interesting times, lately, with Miss Futaba's recent...decline, and Miss Himezaki being her usual self. I'm sure you're quite busy. I'm a little busy, but I can make time to speak with you now, I think. What did you need?"
Yurika is quiet for a moment. Apparently she was expecting a different kind of answer from Raizo; but what does follow is enough to make her smile a little bit. It was certainly said in that way to provoke some kind of suspicion but it seems to her that Raizo is the same as always- Believeing in the best of a student.
She's hardly shaken by the man, of course, with a brother like Kurow, there aren't many things that are visually frightening for her. The musician gives a light nod of her head in agreement then. "You'd be correct, but I am letting those issues be as they may. My greatest concern is of Seijyun's current image. Whatever those two may do will undoubtedly be helpful in the end."
Yurika gives a light chuckle then, holding her hands in front of her. "Which brings me to why I'm here today. In a few weeks time I plan on holding a pageant for our schools; a chance to display not only combat talent, but also extracarricular talents and a bit of knowledge. While you may easily see this as an opportunity for my Seijyun girls to create a new image, this is also an opportunity for all students to learn from one another and maybe even bring a little more spirit to this spring."
"Ahem, but I wanted to speak with you because I need an impartial judge from Justice High School. I think everyone would agree to you fitting that position, do you think you could join us?"
Raizo is inherently suspicious of Yurika. She is Kirishima - sister of Kurow, the only person Raizo is currently prepared to call his "archnemesis" with a straight face. It's no wonder, really, that he looks for omen in her words, even if she's completely honest and earnest.
Speaking of which, 'Whatever' the two most un-Seijyun-y children may do will help Seijyun? Raizo almost has to frown, at that. Fortunately, Hotaru is probably on the road to recovery...he nods, slowly, just listening to Yurika's request for now, mind buzzing. He almost misses the question. Pageant - an opportunity to get the schools together, all in one place, what could a Kirishima do, what could an Imawano do, what would Shadaloo do, if it were still--
"Oh," Raizo says, and then laughs. "A judge, eh? This sounds like a marvelous idea! The schools have been so...embattled, lately, it would be wonderful to have a chacne for them to gather together in good sport for a change. I'd be more than happy to judge, Miss Kirishima."
Yurika's earliest words were probably wreckless, but Yurika is just looking for something else.. Anything else. But even she can't help but smile more genuinely when Raizo outbursts into laughter and quite good-naturedly accepts the offer. The musicians dark eyes seem to almost brighten more, and she gives a bow to the largest of the Justice admin. "Thank you very much, and I'm in agreement of course. I'm quite confident that there's no possible result that will come from this other than positive.. But to provide some more details on the matter. The event will be called 'Miss Teen Southtown', and will be held on Seijyun ground. I've already gathered judges from the other schools so it's likely not to be long before I have everyone meet one another.."
Yurika raises a gloved finger to her lower lip, glancing up briefly as if to recall her train of thought. "The rules of the voteing system, and what the four segments will consist of. I imagine it should happen during the next week or so, so I hope it won't impede too harshly on your schedule.."
Raizo nods, slowly, thinking deeply. A golden opportunity to bring the schools closer, to get some brotherhood and fellowship going...or tear it apart completely. But...he's got Kurow busy, now. Could his plans carry on without him? It's always a danger, with a boy as cunning as Kurow. He hasn't had to think this hard in a while, especially not on his feet. He frowns, just a bit, but Yurika prompts him -- "Oh, this week?" Raizo says, coming back into the rest of the world. "I believe I can arrange that, certainly."
Then, Raizo nods. "Please, if you can get me the information, I'd be happy to look it over before the day comes."
That certainly is a good question, it could easily be assumed that with Kurow busy things could remain quiet for quite some time. Yurika isn't entirely certain what's on the principals mind, he's incredibly difficult to read. "Not this week, but the next," she corrects with a small smile. "All right most certainly, I'll be looking forward to seeing you again Mr Imawano, and again thank you very much for your time."
Another bow is given to the large man, and with that she takes her leave, feeling uncertain if she had really learned anything at all. But she's confident that if anything, she's done the right thing.
