Ter - The Meaning of Love

Description: ...is violence, deep and true. It is for love that Ter has ventured deep into the castle of Justice High, to free the captive Princess. And it is for love...that she punches him in the face.

Justice High is nose in the air, better than the rest of you elite school of Southtown. Or at least that's how many of it's students view it. As such things that go on there are usually considered highbrow and a cut above what you'd find anywhere else. So why they're holding a date auction is beyond anyone's guess. Maybe as an appeal that they're not that stuck up, maybe some club really wants money, or maybe it's all just one elaborate joke- it is April 1st, after all. The huge auditorium is packed full of students, and quiet murmuring combines to create a constant soft clamor.

"4000 yen, 4000 yen, do I hear 4500 yen? 4500 yen! Comon folks, for a date with knockout beauty cheerleader like this 5000 yen would be practically free! 5000- no 5500 yen! Okay, I didn't want to have to do this but... The rumors aren't true- she does not, I repeat /does not/ stuff her bra!"

A hushed silence falls over the crowd

"6000!"

"7000!"

"15000!!!"

"OOOOHHHHH!"

Whatever the case, the student body seems to be eating the event up, and so far no faculty has stepped in to shut it down. Speaking of- where /is/ the faculty? Who know.

Back stage the entire thing is but a whisper- you really have to give it to the sound techs who designed this place. To the students rushing about back and forth trying to keep things going straight it's hard to tell if it's a flop or a smash hit. It also leads to confusion. Take Kiyoko, for example. She doesn't even know why she's here. Someone just dragged her backstage and had her running cash back and forth between places, every now and then being sent on one errand or another. Kept frantically busy, she finishes up her last little errand- bringing a the stage manager a cup of coffee no less. And finally has a moment to think to herself. This impromptu assembly sure is a lot of work. Shouldn't she have heard about this from some type of committee before she was assigned to help work on it? But before she can think much on it someone with a headset grabs her by the arm and pulls her forward. A moment later, she's given a light shove in the back.

"Sold, for 23,500 yen to man in the back with the glasses and laptop!" A little shout of glee is given and the cheerleader is led off the stage and right over to her man, where the cash is collected immediately. "Alright folks, up next we have-" Appearing through curtains in the standard orange Justice uniform is Kiyoko, who finds herself momentarily blinded by a spotlight. "Kiyoko Fukakami!"

"Huh?"

"Our next date to be auctioned-"

"/What/?!"

"is... not a member of any school clubs. But she's an official tournament fighter with a record of-" the next few words come muffled, "(is this right? …okay) One, Three, and Three!"

Kiyoko sweatdrops, "Err..."

"Do I hear- ...1000 yen?"

"Hey!"

Her surprise is clear, the shock evident on her delicate features. She stands at the front of the auditorium in a pool of harsh light, surrounded by a faceless crowd. In response to the auctioneer's voice, the audience rises in a chattering crescendo, a wave of sheer noise.

Kiyoko is now a lady in distress.

Who will rescue her? Who will come and save her? Or is she fated to be sold upon this stage, sold into slavery by an uncaring world, forced into servitude against her will?

And lo.

Her saviour comes.

Actually wait, that 'lo' is missing an l.

lol

Okay, that's better.

Where were we?

Right.

All of a sudden, a massive BOOM rolls through the auditorium, stirring the theater to its rafters. A bright burst of light and heat shines from the back of the room, momentarily eclipsing the illumination of the spotlights cast upon the stage. Soundproofed insulation, flecks of plaster wall, and the plush upholstry of audience seating explode into the air in a cloud of debris, blown outward by the sudden rush of superheated gases...and a massive fireball. But the flame does not disperse as it should, it does not die with the consumption of life-giving oxygen. Even as the unfortunate students at the back of the theater flop to the ground, coughing and twitching amidst the smoke...

...the flame continues to burn amidst the drifting haze, a distinctive red-orange glow slicing through the darkness - silhouetting a single standing figure. The fumes of burning carpet surround him as he walks past the fallen, negligently stepping over their collapsed forms. He lifts an arm, the limb wreathed in flickering flames forged of his spirit alone.

He lifts his voice in a loud cry that reaches to the heavens. For he is Kiyoko's knight, and he has come to defend this grave insult to her honour.

"OI, OI, OI," Ter yells, "WHAT YOU DOING?! YOU THINK SHE CHICKEN IS IT? CAN ANY-HOW SELL TO PEOPLE IN MARKET?"

Growling, he points a burning finger at the auctioneer, up on the podium.

"YOU BETTER WAKE UP YOUR IDEA! I -RESCUE- HER THEN YOU KNOW!"

"1000?"

"1000 it is! Do I hear 1500?"

"Uh, 1500."

"1500! How about 2000? 2000 yen! ...2000? ...1500 going once! 1500 goi-"

"Wait just a second! I'm worth way more than /1500/ yen! That's an insult!"

"ng twice...Hey, I thought you were indignant about being sold?" The announcer scratches the top of his head with the mic.

"Wh- bu-. That's not fair!"

And then the stadium explodes. Or at least it sounds like it does, what with the superior acoustics of the auditorium. Both Kiyoko and the announcer For most people, it's pretty hard to figure out what's going on. But Kiyoko's a fighter with especially tuned senses.

"Oh."

Flames continue to flicker about in the dusty debris, Ter lifting a flaming arm in the air.

"My."

He screams loud enough for /everyone/ in the whole place to hear, shrieking at the completely dumbfounded announcer, pointing at the dumbfounded young man and threatening him with vague comments.

"God."

Kiyoko stares dumbly at Ter for a few moments, along with everyone else who happens to be here. A feeling of something crawling along her skin suddenly takes her and she makes a three-stepped run over to the announcer. "Sold!" She takes his gavelhand and smacks the device down, and with wide eyes skitters over to the guy who paid the insultingly token amount for a date with her.

"Ohgodohgodohgodohgod."

God? Well. Obviously he has a sense of humour. Otherwise Kiyoko wouldn't be in such a pretty pickle of an awkward situation. Hell, some wires -have- to be crossed in the celestial realm. Otherwise, how would an idiot like Ter have ended up with the powers he has? Guys like him aren't -supposed- to win the genetic lottery. Clearly, somewhere up there, his Omnipotent Presence is snickering over this.

At the back of the school theater, Ter's face knots up in a grotesque mask of indignation, his cheeks flushing. He takes another step forward, his sneaker soles crunching over debris - and onto the back of an unfortunate student lying face-down in his path. The poor kid makes a weak squeaking noise as Ter walks right over him, grinding him deeper into the scorched and battered carpet.

Ter marches forward, out of the big hole he blew in the side of the auditorium wall. He stalks down the centre aisle, his skinny frame shuddering with barely repressed anger.

"HAAAAAAAAAA," Ter screams at the top of his lungs, flecks of spit flying from his lips, "-YOU-!"

He stabs a trembling hand at the successful bidder who's just bought himself an evening of bliss wit---well, okay, a date with Kiyoko, at any rate. Ter's face contorts into a look of pure fury as he glares daggers at the student by the stage. The boy stares back, completely bewildered.

Ter clenches his hand into a fist. The aura of power surrounding his arm cranks up a notch, the air sizzling with the acrid stench of smoke as fire blasts to being around Ter's limb. The air swirls around him, tossing his dirty blond-streaked locks and sending his unbuttoned shirt flapping...exposing his ribcage and the ratty tee covering it. It seems the tee is emblazoned with the logo of a particular recording artiste, the one formerly known and now apparently known again as Prince.

Pity Ter isn't charming.

"I RESCUE THE PRINCESS," Ter bellows, as he charges straight ahead, leading with a red-hot punch, the fire of his chi scorching an eye-searing trail as he powers the blow right at the hapless boy's face.

Can he really be called a winner?

"Huh? I won?"

"Yep you sure did so why don't we go find a nice place to have a cup of-"

"-YOU-!"

"Ah, crap."

That gambit looks like it's run out. Ter has marked the poor kid who won as his primary target now, the announcer seemingly off the hook. Kiyoko can only look on in horror as the flamebound Chinese man steps forward him, and now her as well, treading on fellow students along the way.

Kiyoko looks to the kid, "Oh, crap. Look, you'd better get out of here before he-"

The flames around Ter's arms intensify, making his clothes flap around from the heat generated wind and making him look way too dangerous. Where the crap is that beast of a principal when you need him?

"Too late. Looks like he's really got it in for you."

"What the hell?!" The boy says, noticing now that Ter is bearing down on him, "This isn't worth it at all!"

Kiyoko glares at him, "Gee, thanks." She's just about to resign him to his fate, when Ter rushes forward. Wait a second? Rescue her? Oh hell no. That is /not/ happening.

Annoyed by so many things and starting to get pissed off, Kiyoko intervenes, stepping -directly- between Ter and the boy who 'won' a date with her, holding her arms up defensively. "Well since you won a date with me I guess I have to protect you! It's, uh, in the contract."

Whatever Ter's stupid he'll buy it.

"HAAAA?!"

Ter scowls at the boy's retreating back...thus provoking him into running even faster with another bout of pants-wetting terror.

Unfortunately, having turned his head to glower, he's no longer looking where he's going. Ter's sneakers skid against the auditorium flooring in a squeak of rubber against carpet, friction losing out to other more potent laws of physics. He's moving too quickly to stop, the blazing might of his energy-charged right hand rocketing straight at Kiyoko. Because she's totally standing in front of him.

Ter's eyes widen in horror - his mouth dropping in a slack-jawed expression of surprise. He falters mid-step, stumbling and nearly tripping over his own feet in his mad dash down the auditorium's centre aisle. But too late.

He slams right AT Kiyoko.

Fist, meet FACE.

COMBATSYS: Kiyoko blocks Ter's Strong Punch.

The boy pales as the crazy flamefisted maniac rushes down the aisles at him, with only a thin, almost frail looking girl standing between him and certain death.

Yea, he's fucked.

Or so one would think. With Ter barreling downward- now on her, Kiyoko stands before him defiantly. Her arms raised up, even the aborted maniacal punch is going to do serious, nasty damage if it lands. The fist smashes into her forearms, and her shoes audibly protest the, carpet fraying as she's shoved back several feet. But only several feet.

The boy stares, and his jaw drops. How is his face still intact? How did Kiyoko manage to hold that kind of thing off? Short answer? Who cares? He -RUNS-.

And that might well have been the end of it all, except... "OUCH!" Kiyoko exclaims, hands reaching up to rub at her forearms where the powerful punch landed. "That /hurt/ you jerk!"

And then with all the meager power her muscles can give she pulls back a fist and tries to mash it right into Ter's nose.

What? It really did hurt.

COMBATSYS: Ter endures Kiyoko's Strong Punch.

But as if on cue, Ter's head snaps back. Kiyoko might not be all that strong, but it seems neither is Ter all that sturdy. He's only got a couple inches on Kiyoko, after all.

Inches of height.

Not anywhere else, please.

Anyway.

His head rocks, straining at the neck. His entire body arches with the blow, his feet almost rising off the floor - for a moment, he's nearly standing on tippy-toes.

"WAAAAAAAH," Ter wails, in complete confusion.

Then he crashes back earthward, recoiling, dangerously unsteady. He topples forward, his weight spilling forward into Kiyoko. In a vain attempt to break his fall, he thrusts his arm out, trying to catch the nearest solid object.

Which happens to be Kiyoko.

Which happens to be Kiyoko's -upper body-, point in fact.

Did we also mention Ter's hand is still on fire?

Sometimes it's not the height that matters. If you measure them up and stand them next to each other it wouldn't be his height, but sheer bulk that outweighs Kiyoko. And while Ter isn't exactly muscle bound, it just goes to show how much less so the girl is.

Feeling indignant about this entire ordeal, Kiyoko seems somewhat vindicated when Ter's face meets the force of her fist against it. It makes her knuckles sting, and that sting tells her that his face ought to be feeling that, except more. And damnit, he deserves it.

And then he begins toppling. The speed at which he falls isn't great, but to Kiyoko it's like a frame by frame slow motion video. His hand is shoved forward. At her chest. Her mind calculates the geometric path. She is not pleased when she comes to a conclusion where that flaming appendage lands.

With a cry that every female of her country has within them, her left fist whips out in a staggeringly fast left jab, aimed for the same damn spot she hit before. "PERVERT!"

Whap! It's not enough to stop his hand from falling on her, but the jolt would shudder his body, and he'd stumble against her, arm landing on her shoulder. It hurts, and burns, but it isn't her chest.

Kiyoko glares daggers at Ter.

With a solid jarring -thump-, Ter lands on the floor of the auditorium in a rather painful fashion. His ass hits the carpeted aisle, bouncing so hard it jars his tailbone and pelvis, his face contorting into a mask of sheer pain. Then he topples backwards...and the small of his back meets one of the /stairs/ in that aisle, the edge digging painfully into Ter's abused spine.

He gives a small whimper as he curls up, twitching, trying to grab at both his bruised nose and his aching back. A thin trickle of blood works its way from one nostril, not an anime-inspired sign of arousal, but rather a visual representation of the fact things are no longer in precise alignment within Ter's nasal passages, courtesy of a small balled fist from one enraged female.

"OI OI OIIiiii," Ter manages, spluttering in protest, "I not buaya okay!"

He reaches flaming fingers towards Kiyoko's ankles.

"I GENTLEMAN ah!"

COMBATSYS: Ter takes no action.

A small huff is released from the Justice student as she sees Ter laying there on the ground after the fall. She really has no sympathy for him. Not only did he break through the auditorium wall, but he somehow managed to track her down, and then completely flipped out and attacked someone who bought a date from her!

...okay, if it was someone else who showed up, maybe she'd have thanked them and had a laugh, but they probably wouldn't have flung themselves with near killing force at a teenager.

But all that is irrelevant, because what's fresh in her mind is the very most recent happening of a /very/ close call of misplaced hands. That means the blood from his nose is satisfying- she's at least avenged herself. But then... is he... grabbing at her ankle?

"Eugh!" She steps back as if a housewife dancing away from a rat on the floor, and then shakes her head. "If you're a gentleman, stop trying to /grab/ me." She says, still nicely infuriated. Then something else occurs to her and she slams her knees together, "And you'd better not be looking up my skirt," she adds dangerously.

Ter clutches his heart - with his non-burning hand. Fingers scrabble against the fabric of his tee-shirt, crinkling the cloth over his ribs. Lying on his side, flopping on the ground...and still sprawled at ground level, he gives a weak gasp, the sound of a man wounded to the very core.

"Aiyah," he splutters, pained, "why you so like that?!"

In the background, the school auditorium is a scene of chaos and panic, as students try to evacuate, doing all they can to get /out/ of the smoke-filled disaster area amidst great sounds of screaming. Ter, though, doesn't notice this. No, his eyes are only for Kiyoko.

With a sudden burst of motion, he springs upward, making another grab for Kiyoko. Whether through some fluke of aim or self-preservation, he goes for her midsection this time, trying to wrap an arm round her waist and sweep her up in a gallant fashion.

But yes, there are still certain logistical difficulties here involving a limb still blazing with tongues of furious red-hot chi.

COMBATSYS: Kiyoko dodges Ter's Strong Throw.

Kiyoko stares down at Ter incredulously, hands placed firmly on her hips. "Why am I like that? Why am I /like that/?" She glowers and fumes and then finally speaks again, "This is my /school/! You can't just barge in her, -smash through a wall-, walk on top of people, and then try and punch someone hard enough to kill them! What's /wrong/ with you that makes you think that's even remotely ok?!"

The mini tirade has her feeling a bit better, and hoping that maybe he'll get it through his head that she very much does not want him here. All hope of that is suddenly dashed into oblivion, though, as he grabs for her again, after she already told him to knock that off. The girl springs into motion immediately, making sure she does everything in her power to /not/ get grabbed and scooped up like some helpless princess that needs saving. She jumps high into the air and lands up the stairs from him, glaring once more.

"I don't think you're getting it!" She states angrily, "I want you to go away and leave me alone. Is that so hard for you to get through your head?" She closes her eyes and tries to control her anger, but... forget it. The only thing that's gonna make this guy understand is a full on thrashing.

Taking a step forward down the stairs, their carpet already damaged by Ter's first attempt to halt his momentum, she reaches forward for his arm, the one not on fire, and /twists/ with all her might. She's simply going to try and hold his arm behind his back and put painful pressure on the join. "Now listen! Are you going to leave, or not?!"

"Aiyaaaaaaaaaaaa," Ter wails, his voice squeaking into the falsetto registers as Kiyoko takes him from behind - and not in a pleasant way, either. His arm spasms as Kiyoko bends it in a direction it isn't meant to go, overstressing the joints and ligaments. His face contorts into a display of agony, tears running down his cheeks.

IT IS A MANLY DISPLAY OF PAIN.

MANLY I SAY.

A burst of uncontrolled flame /explodes/ from Ter's right arm, the plume firing off at a crazy angle, narrowly missing Kiyoko's head. But it misses all the same, a few sparks drifting to set nearby seats on fire and scorching the wooden flooring of the auditorium's stage.

His knees give way, his legs no longer able to support his weight. Ter crumples. As he sinks to the ground, his weight pulling on Kiyoko, he cries:

"Princess! I here to rescue you, lah! HURT ME FOR WHAT?!"

"Oh go aiya someone else! You can't just bust in here and start wrecking everything and not expect to get punished for it. You're just lucky Principal Raizo isn't here or you'd be in /really/ big trouble!" And right about then the blast of flames fly past Kiyoko's head and explodes somewhere in the background.

"W-w-! Stop it! Jeeze, put out that ridiculous flaming arm of yours already and start acting like a normal person." Kiyoko keeps the hold on the limb, keeping it against his back, but not doing anything else to aggravate it. She just wants to get him to knock it off and go away, not cripple him. Heck, she doesn't even want to /hurt/ him anymore than she already has.

"Look! I'm not some stupid worthless princess who gets grabbed by the pig-guy with horns that needs to be rescued all the time, and you're /definitely/ not some hero in tights, so just knock it off and leave me alone already!"

COMBATSYS: Kiyoko takes no action.

Wait, wait, wait.

Logic? Reason? Sensible and rational reactions with mature responsibility?

A Ter knows not these things.

Ter's brow furrows, as confusion overwrites agony on his face, his lips sticking out as he tries to process this alien concept. His alcohol-addled grey matter tries to work this through, but all he succeeds in doing is giving himself even more pain - the headache caused from overstretching a single tired brain cell. Which doesn't particularly improve his disposition.

"Waaaaah," Ter moans, "lau oiiiii..."

He sags in Kiyoko's grasp, his mouth curving into a frown. Is she getting through to him? Are her words penetrating the fog surrounding our misbegotten hero's cesspool of a mind?

Well.

No.

"OKAAAAAAY," Ter declares loudly. His arm ignites into new levels of flaming glory with a loud FWWWWWHOOOOOOOOOOM, the blast so big it spins him around like a top driven by jet exhaust. He -pivots- on the limb still held by Kiyoko, his shoulder straining so hard it nearly pops out of the socket. But Ter's beyond noticing, now. He's spinning and spinning and spinning in a flame-edged whirl, his voice rising in a ear-shattering climax:

"I," he declares, proudly, "WILL CHANGE YOUR MIND!"

COMBATSYS: Kiyoko dodges Ter's Medium Throw.

For a small moment, Kiyoko thinks that the impossible might be true. That her words might actually have started getting to the man, and he's going to stand up and walk away from all this. Or hell, maybe he'll just stop trying to grab at her.

But no, no. Ter is above such petty things as words, and his righteous cause seems to be such that nothing will stand in his way.

His arm glows even hotter, causing Kiyoko to stare in a somewhat stupefied manner. "Ah, crap."

Then the spinning begins and the world becomes a haze for Kiyoko. Things heat up quickly, as the flames from his arm begin licking at her, and she knows she has only one choice- let go. And so she does.

She goes flying, shooting off away from him back down towards the stage, seemingly completely out of control. But suddenly, control is regained, and her body flips backwards so that she'll land on her feet- hands down to her skirt to keep it from turning inside out like an umbrella in a windstorm. She lands hard and is forced into a crouch, large long black lines stretching across the polished stage. "...I sure hope I don't have to clean that up."

Her head shakes from side to side and she stands up. "I see it now. There's just no talking with you. I thought maybe I could talk you out of this, but it seems you're just unwilling to listen." She points at him, "FINE! If it's going to take me beating your head in until your so out of it you can't help but leave me alone, that's what it'll have to be!"

These words spoken she launches at him, barreling down at full speed. Once she's at the edge of the stage she leaps, jumping right at him while twisting around in the air, trying to smash him right in the side of the jaw with a flying roundhouse, "Leave me alone!"

[OOC] Kiyoko says, "XD;"
[OOC] Ter says, "ph34r enraged schoolgirl indignation"

Sneaker soles smack into the smouldering carpet floor as Ter lands in the wake of his spinning manuever. He stands beneath the stage, hunched over, breathing heavily, his eyes wild. Straightening, Ter opens his mouth, sucking in air. He sticks his chest out, obviously preparing to make some dramatic announcement that will forever change Kiyoko's conception of him, swaying her with his incredible masculine erudition and winninger her heart from now to eternity.

Unfortunately, those fateful words never leave his lips.

Instead, he turns his head just in time to get a mouthful of Kiyoko's shoes. Admittedly, they are rather nicer shoes than Ter's own, tasteful slip ons with sensible heels...and attached to much nicer legs than his own, too.

Of course Ter doesn't exactly get a chance to appreciate this, considering how his face is in the process of deforming around Kiyoko's kick, molding itself to her dainty foot like flesh-coloured clay.

"****," Ter cries, as he flies backward, crashing awkwardly into the nearest bank of theater seating, "you **** think you can just **** me is it! ****! I not **** you know!"

He rubs his left hand against his abused visage, while his right sets fire to the seat cushions.

"**** IT! I **** YOU THEN YOU **** KNOW!"

Fury and annoyance went into that kick, and all of Kiyoko's emotions are suddenly smashed into Ter's mouth in a brutalizing effort. She lands nearby, arms crossed as she sees what he has to say next. She's not going to be gullible like last time. She knows he's not going to give up from a single kick, no matter how filled with righteous indignation it is.

But she also wasn't ready for the sudden torrent of gutter trash speak that flows out of his mouth. Her eyes widen not as he curses once, but as continued streams of profanity gushes from him. "Didn't you ever learn any manners! You should be ashamed of yourself talking to me like that! I get it if your pissed off because it hurts but... but you have no right to talk to me that way!"

Quick as a whip her right hand flies up, intent on an arcing course whose endpoint is Ter's left cheek, "-You're- the one who came in and started wrecking -my- school! The only thing I know about you right now is that you're a crude jerk with no manners!"

Those fine-boned delicate hands, those perfectly formed fingers and smooth, delicate skin.

And incredibly hard knuckles.

Driven by surprisingly powerful muscles.

Embedding themselves rather unpleasantly in the flesh of Ter's head, with the sound of a jackhammer through raw meat.

Ter reels. When his head comes back up, his eyes are glassy and thoroughly unfocused. It doesn't look like he can see straight. It doesn't look like he can see anything but stars. His mouth is crooked. Blood oozes from a split lip, staining his teeth red - and he spits, phlegm and saliva running crimson as it goes splat against the auditorium carpet.

He rises.

Ter clenches his own fists. His right one burns, flames swirling in a maelstrom, power flowing in a torrent, wrapping round the knotted sinew of his arm, turning one side of his body into a fiery pyre.

A loud gutteral ROAR tears free from his lungs as he surges forward. There's no words there, none whatsoever. Just a fist - and apocalyptic flame going wild. Fire lifts him off his feet, driving him ever onward.

The hellish glow splashes over his face, turning it into a picture of light and darkness, flickering fire reflected in his eyes.

"YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!"

Now her words fall on deaf ears. Because not only is Ter ignoring the meaning behind them, he seems to be ignoring everything. The small girl rubs her hand a little, the sting on her palm unpleasant and annoying. But the solid contact of it makes her glad.

"Ick." She says as he spits blood on the carpet, knowing there's not much he can do to avoid it but not even caring at this point. It's his fault he made her hit him in the first place. Completely his fault. The flames intensify, and Kiyoko glares at him. Why can't he just learn his lesson and get out of here. He /has/ to know by now that she doesn't want anything to do with him after all this, so is he now just trying to unleash his anger on her?

The scream that comes from him makes her believe so. "Uh oh." The lunge forward has her immediately stepping back, but such a simple thing isn't going to put her out of the way. All it'll do is give her maybe half a second longer to react to the fire wreathed fist headed her way.

But it's enough. Her own hands come up and catch the fist, her body forced backwards as she takes the force of the blow. But it's not the fist itself that would do the damage, but the flames around it. How can she escape her own flesh blackening and blistering from the intense heat? A look at her hands tells the tale, a bright green glow surrounding them, the chi just powerful enough to keep the flames from harming her.

She steps to the side, getting away from the flaming fist and moving around him. Her hands continue to be coated with energy, and she lashes out with them, streaks of energy appearing in the air as she swipes her hands a hairs width away from his body, allowing the green energy to do the dirty work for her. "First you break in here, wreck the auditorium, try and assault the students, try to /grope/ me, and now you're trying to beat me up? That's it! Get out of here! OUT!"

COMBATSYS: Ter dodges Kiyoko's Summer Breeze.

[OOC] Kiyoko says, "The power of the enraged schoolgirl is in Normals"
[OOC] Kiyoko says, "By going to specials I've lost my power, and will now die horribly."
[OOC] Kiyoko can only redeem herself by RWing with a giant mallet.

That's what happens when a stray follows you home.

'specially one that ain't toilet-trained.

Case in point.

With startlingly quick movement, Ter leans back, bending at the waist. The green energy slashes in front of him, brushing his skin and clothes like a caress. Then he rocks forward, deliberately unbalancing himself back at Kiyoko, lifting one leg in a sudden kick. Almost uncoordinated. It's not bent, not chambered, and it's the whole of his limb that swings at Kiyoko, not even his foot - much less the heel of it in any sort of striking position.

It does, though, have all his weight behind it.

And a loud bellow:

"NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOoooooooooo!"

TER DENIES YOUR REALITY.

COMBATSYS: Kiyoko just-defends Ter's Medium Kick!

[OOC] Kiyoko says, "This fight. What the hell."
[OOC] Ter says, "HELL HATH NO FURY LIKE A SCHOOLGIRL SPURNED"

What has Kiyoko gotten herself into? Her attempt to smack him around with chi enough to kick his ass out was a complete failure.

And before she knows it Ter is whipping his body back forward in ridiculous fashion, his leg flailing out in front of himself. Kiyoko doesn't move. Instead she stands there and readies herself, one arm up, and one arm down. The kick impacts her with a loud WHUMP, and her body bends around it. For a moment it looks like she was completely doubled over. But then her arms wrap around the limb, and she straightens back up.

"What is it that you don't understand, the GET or the OUT?! You're absolutely awful! Every time I think you've hit a low you just go and outdo yourself! Just- just get out of here before you manage to kill a puppy somehow, jeeze!"

Kiyoko denies his denial.

And then with her arms clamped down it's /her/ turn to begin spinning, trying to whip around and around quickly before releasing him and trying to launch him at the doors to the auditorium, trying to literally throw him right out, even if he has to go /through/ the doors to do it.

COMBATSYS: Ter dodges Kiyoko's Strong Throw.

Ter goes flying.

But not through the doors.

He lifts his head, staring straight at Kiyoko.

While wedged in the doorframe - his limbs sticking out in all directions, his body spread like a human spider to span the gap.

The wood of the frame begins to smoulder, smoke curling from where Ter's right arm grips the polished oak. Ter's body trembles, muscles straining with the exertion of just -stopping- his flight like that.

"Oi, tolong," Ter pleads, "I sorry already lah!"

He drops down, landing in a crouch on the balls of his feet, legs bending at the knees.

"Okay, okay," he reasons, "I know, I know, I not that smart, but, but, but..."

He raises his hand again, the flames still swirling like a torch.

"...I strong, lah! I SHOW YOU!"

Again he charges. Again he flings himself, quite /literally/, at Kiyoko. Throwing himself at her in the most direct way possible, crossing the length of the theater almost as fast as he flew in the other direction, his footfalls beating at a crazy pace as he runs, runs, /runs/. Chi flares hot and heavy around his signature burning fist as he thrusts it forward in a mating display.

It's like showing off plumage or something.

COMBATSYS: Ter successfully hits Kiyoko with 888.

Kiyoko stares as Ter manages to keep himself from exiting the building. It was... rather impressive, but at the same time rather depressing as well. She closes her eyes as he drops down and finally starts speaking again, his words only going further to annoy her.

Her face tenses as he speaks. "I don't care if you're strong, I-" At that moment her eyes open up, and she realizes just how bad of an idea it was to close them in the first place. Because there is Ter, racing towards her at a dramatically high speed, flames engulfing his arm as he aims to bash her with it.

"Ahh!" She lets out a sharp cry and throws up a defense which is immediately bashed down, the hot flaming fist mashing into her face and sending her backwards, his velocity suddenly becoming her velocity as well, burns searing into her skin as her legs collapse and send her rolling away before crashing into a curved row of seating.

"Uh...ugh." She's slow to get up, the powerful punch that crashed into her more than enough to rattle her brain around inside her head. When she finally rights herself her limbs are trembling, and her voice is quiet. "Listen, Ar Ter. I don't /care/ how strong you are. I don't care how smart or how stupid you are. Right now I'm just pissed off, and the only thing you're going to get from me is a black eye." She clenches her fists, "And because I know saying something isn't going to matter to someone like you, here's a little something to show you how I feel!"

Green chi flares back up along her hands and she swipes them through the air once, twice, three times. Three crescents of chi form, intersecting at their centers and forming one huge blob of energy that suddenly screams forward towards the man. "JUST. GO. AWAY!"

COMBATSYS: Kiyoko successfully hits Ter with Vernal Equinox.

Ter reaches a hand forward, fingers grasping. His arm is turned, his fingers tilted upwards as he gestures from below in supplication. His mouth pulls open, skin stretching, tongue twisting in the air. His head shifts, the muscles of his neck straining, his whole spine arching along with the motion. He leans forward, begging for intercession...

...and that's when he eats a triple-formed blast of chi the size of a small planet.

The blast knocks him into the air like a child's doll. He leaves the ground, the hold of gravity and the friction of his shoes completely insufficient to withstand the sheer force barreling into Ter's body. His arms and legs wrap around the sphere of chi in what /would/ be a comedic fashion, were the energies not grinding so hard into his already damaged bones and organs. Thrust backward, borne into the air by the power unleashed by Kiyoko's righteous indignation, Ter slams into the wall of the auditorium. Caught between the hard immovable surface and the irresistable force of Kiyoko's chi blast, Ter's pushed against the wall...harder and harder and harder until /finally/ something gives. It's the wall. In an explosion of plaster, brick and mortar, Ter goes through the side of the building and out into the great beyond.

With only a final scream to mark his passage, trailing off with the doppler effect:

"CHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE BAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAI!"

COMBATSYS: Ter takes no action.

COMBATSYS: Ter can no longer fight.

Kiyoko pants as the blast smashes into Ter, unsure if he's managing to resist it until it pulls him off the ground. At that point a relaxed sigh escapes her lips, and she begins to think this mess might finally be over. Then he hits the wall of the auditorium. Kiyoko winces, not having wanted to completely crush him... but then he's a fairly resilient guy, isn't he?

Then hairline cracks begin to form in the wall. Kiyoko's keen eyes spot them and widen visibly. "No. No, oh no."

A moment later the wall gives, exploding outward and sending building materials crashing outward, Ter dragged away by the blast as it continues on it's way.

Kiyoko stands still, stunned as she sees the huge hole in the wall of the auditorium, knowing that it was her chi that did it. Her eyes slowly peer around the room, at all the students who remained to watch the display. She is going to be in -SO- much trouble.

She makes a break for it, running at full speed towards the stage and behind the curtain, getting out of Dodge as fast as she possibly can. And the kid that paid 1500 yen for the date? Watching her fight off Ter so he didn't get his brains bashed in will have to do.

COMBATSYS: Kiyoko has ended the fight here.
