Description: After Aprile's attack on him. Roberto finds that he needs to get things off of his chest. Considering the fact that he knew that Yurika was part of the Shadaloo side during the Thailand war, and that he has been constantly tormented by the musician, Yurika was convient target for his rage as misguided as it was.
It's been about 24 hrs. since Roberto had his encounter with Aprile. His body has healed somewhat from the experience however it left him with a bitter taste in his mouth. So much so that he plans on giving one of the people that he knew was on the Shadaloo side a piece of his mind.
Of course, Roberto will have to find Yurika first. Under his arm he carries a blue and white soccer ball. The same soccer ball he refused to use in his fight against Zach Glen. If it wasn't for his visor he'd look wild eyed and enraged as he looks for a specific Seijyun student. Perhaps that still comes across in what's left of his facial expression.
What has come over the usually cool soccer star?
Yurika, of course, hasn't the slightest clue what Roberto had been up to. It'd seem that lately she actualyl hasn't been stalking the young soccer star. So then what is she doing? As usual, she's keeping busy with Seijyun studies of course; and things are just wrapping up at the park. Well dressed students littered the parks entrance to take photographs of the blooming cherry blossoms, but once the bells chime, classes are over and the girls are packing up to head back.
Yurika Kirishima stays behind, however, because she brought herself a little treat. Dressed in her usual blue attire, a thermos is in one hand, pouring a tea of some sort into the covercup- She spots Roberto right away, which keeps her from taking a seat at the bench. ".. Mister Miura! What a suprise, I wasn't expecting to see you again so soon.." she greets, with her usual mysterious little smile.
"Kirishima..."
His tone of voice is icy as he addresses the musician. There's no hint of a smile on his face. Instead the look on his face subsides from anger to something in between angered and neutral.
"We need to talk." Nothing in the tone of voice indicates that there's much choice in the matter and he'll talk at her if he has to. He will get whatever's bothering him off his chest if it kills him.
The tone of Roberto is certainly suprising. So far as she knows, she hadn't performed any sort of myschief on him as of late. And even if she had, she never managed to get him so.. Tense. What was more impressive, however, was how forcefully he was trying to calm himself. So for his sake, this time around, she'd behave.. As well as a smiling girl can. Her dark eyes glance over her shoulder, to the students whom are well on their way back to Seijyun, and when she turns back she nods her head. "I see.. Very well then, please take a seat."
Because she's already doing so, looking prim and proper as always. She'd offer tea, but she only has one cup. "I hope this isn't about the ball. You should know by now I've already done nothing to it; so it isn't my fault for, ah.. Whatever it was that happened."
The soccer star decides to cover his grievances one at a time. Starting with the lesser of his grievances and then working his way up to the more bothersome of his problems. Roberto shakes his head when the seat is offered. No Miura will remain standing.
First item on the agenda? That would be the previously mentioned soccer ball or rather the time he received the soccer ball. "It's funny that you mention this. Why did you come to my fight and where did this whole, 'I'm representing you' stuff come about?"
To further punctuate it, he places the soccer ball right on the seat next to her. "And I suppose it didn't occur to you to clear something like that with me? Though a lesser evil, it's infuriating for the same reasons as when Gabriel Kai called me her fiance." Not that he'd agree to it in either scenario it's just the principle of the matter
One grievance down.
"You don't know?" Yurika replies, looking mildly suprised. But the musician then gives a light giggle. Of course he wouldn't know, since it was something she had thought of on her own. "I see, well Mr. Miura, I'm not ready to make that kind of commitment with you, flattering as it is.. As for where the representation matter came from, you should know. It was your White Day gift to me, after all. I admit it is a little selfish for me to decide on my own, but I figured you had no idea what else to get me." .. "You're quite welcome." Clearly in a circumstance like that, no clearance was needed, in her opinion.
Yurika takes a small sip from her cup, and then exhales with a pleased sigh. "It's impolite not to sit, when invited to do so. Especially when the invitation is from a lady, Mister Miura."
And the conversation segues perfectly into grievance number two. It was disturbingly too perfect a scenario for him. His hands open and close slowly. His body tenses up more so and the frown becomes even more pronounced as he looks at her.
Roberto gets himself together enough to retain that icy voice. "To thank you for what gave me for Valentines' Day? Let's see... A tray, a towel, and embarassment because I was working as staff at a party I was invited to that I shouldn't have been given an invitation to in the first place?"
He takes a breath and then speaks again that same icy voice taking on just a hint of exasperation. "Who in their right mind would think that gift was worthy of a White Day present? If I had known then what I know now, I would've been happy that I lost."
[OOC] Roberto says, "I considered adding, 'Your taste in Valentines' Day gifts is only slightly better than Kai's. She got me blown up by a hand grenade.'"
[OOC] Yurika laughs!! xx
Yurika takes another, longer sip, her eyes looking the young man over as he vents. It was cute in a way, really.. But she couldn't help but wonder if there was some sort of different motive behind it all. Or maybe he really was just quite the curious type? One thing was for sure, though, she didn't seem shaken up in the slightest by the icy tone of her 'friend'. On the other hand, she does seem to be mildly annoyed. The rest of the cup is sipped, the cap is rescrewed on the canister, and the musician gets to her feet, facing Roberto.
".. I'm sorry, is there some sort of -problem-, Mister Miura?" Yurika asks, with a slight tilt of her head. "You seem to be failing to realize just how generous I am being to you; I thought you looked extremely handsome that day, you are cute when you're embarrassed, and it's rare that a man is by my side on various circumstances. I don't find your whining or ignorance charming in the least. Are you suggesting to me that, perhaps, you would have preferred what I gave you last year instead? Is that it?"
Now for grievance number three... And this is where Roberto really lets Yurika have it. Sure she probably doesn't deserve it and didn't have anything to do with the attack. But really Yurika was the only person on the Shadaloo side that he has any access to making her the only convient target he has to truly lash out at.
"And I don't find it charming when manipulative little brats see fit to interfere with my life." His hand reaches out for the soccer ball that he previously placed on the bench. "I don't find it charming when you see fit to tell me that I should be grateful to be humiliated by you."
And then Roberto kicks the soccer ball high in the air, and it's on fire as it goes up into the sky. His voice which started out at a rumble at the beginning becomes a roar when he finally gets to the real meat of his rant. "AND I DON'T APPRECIATE WHEN YOU OR ANY OF YOUR FRIENDS FROM SHADALOO SHOW UP TO /MY/ SCHOOL CAUSING TROUBLE!"
It's at this point when Roberto turns his back on her and then the soccer ball explodes raining bits of leather from above over the two teens. "So if you want to give me a gift, how about leaving me and my school alone."
[OOC] Roberto dm/burst->attack sky=Blazing Strikers
[OOC] Yurika | Sky can no longer fight.
If Yurika said she had expecting everything to lead to this point.. It'd all be a lie. While in some ways it all ties togeather in the end, there's an expression of mild suprise as she looks to the soccer player, and then to the ball as it's blasted upward into the air. Hmn.. She actually should have seen that coming..
And of course she's been playing dumb about him actually having to 'appreciate' what she's doing. But she can't help herself it's all fun and games until that one final moment when the ball explodes, and the accusation is shot out. There's nothing but silence.
Roberto can hear Yurika then take slow steps to face Roberto, but now there's not even a single hint of a smile. Her cheeks are slightly red, and her eyes a misted, a tear streaked down her left cheek.
If Roberto isn't fast enough? He at that very moment gets a fierce slap across his cheek, and should that connect; almost as if it were some sort of shoujo manga, a breeze picks up that blows the sakura petals over to the pair.
It depends entirely on his reaction from that point, if she walks away scott-free or not.
Maybe Roberto will feel regret at what he's said and what he's done at this moment. Even if he sees the tear in her eye, he doesn't regret it right now. Even if he knows she had nothing to do with Aprile's attack on him at his soccer practice, the rest of what he said still does apply.
He knows she was responsible for booby trapping his locker. There's no secret behind the fact that becoming part of the staff at her party was her work as well. And he does want her to leave him alone. To leave his school alone.
Roberto makes no motion to stop or move out of the way of the slap. He takes it full on the cheek. And then faces forward again not making any motion or movement to stop her if she decides to leave. It's probably better for all involved that way.
Maybe he will, maybe he won't, Yurika isn't entirely sure. And whether she's truely hurt or not, Yurika isn't entirely sure of either the next thing she knew her body was moving on its own.
She's fully aware of the annoying things she's done to him. She'd teased him when he was ill, and 'helped herself' to her own gifts. It's by those reasons alone she suspects she'll never get an apology from the young star.. But even so, when her hand lowers she waits; for perhaps about six or seven seconds. For something. Anything, really. But since there's nothing, she speaks instead, "Fine."
And with that she brushes past Roberto, with the intent of returning to her school grounds. Deep inside, however, she knows she'll give Roberto a second chance. She'll wait for two weeks tops. And if nothing happens, she will show her scorn.
