Description: Infiltrating Justice, Aprile decides to have a nice talk with someone there.. and in the end, it comes down to .. mostly 'friendly' blows. Kiyoko gives it her best, and tells the Doll everything she needs to know .. but there's a step to head over to before those Gedo Ruffians!
Dresses in a spaghetti strapped dress, dress still covering her completely, a certain girl carrying a medkit, swinging it happily, skipping into Justice. She's .. clearly not been there before, and the psycho power that she has, allows her to at least keep track of all that's happening, or, find out if she might have some trouble if another pops nearby. The last thing she needs is one of those Justice Members who worked for Vega to realize a Shadaloo agent is bothering them. Even if not in plain site.
Entering the courtyard, the girl looks all over, at the dormitories and the walkways and the clocktower.. it's all so big! It's all so much! It's all so .. unnecessary. It all seems like it's been made only for decoration and nothing more. What a waste!
% the blue dress hangs off her well enough, as she stops, swinging the medkit still. "I wonder where the main building is.." She asks thin air, before walking towards the largest building. Why is she here? .. Well, someone has to help keep an eye out for those who might oppose Master Vega when he returns! .. And he will return, watch!
At Justice Highschool you can't just slack off and expect to get good grades. It's the school for not only the financial elite, but also the mental elite as well, and the courses taught here reflect that. That means if you want to get ahead you can't go out shopping or hang out with your friends every night- at least some of them are going to have to be dedicated to study. This was one such night for Kiyoko, who took maybe an hour break off after school and then spent the rest of the time up until now camped out in the dorms with a few of her friends going over math, language, and history problems.
But now it's time for them to split up because not only do they need breaks, but there are also essays to be written. That means research, and research means the library. It doesn't give her much of a break, but that's where Kiyoko's headed now, sadly still wearing the most unfashionable Justice High uniform. Lets get real people, this orange makes her look like she's going to go out and work on the road. Maybe it'd be better if she ditched the jacket and kept only the skirt on but... she has her reasons for not doing so.
This brings us to where the 'intruder' comes in. Though they're coming from different places they both seem to have the same destination, and fate has worked it so their paths cross halfway. Kiyoko wouldn't normally care, what with her mind so dragged down and used up from hours of mental exercise, but the young woman dressed in blue is dressed rather oddly, and happens to be carrying something with a big red plus on it. If that weren't enough she saw her walking past in the dorms like she had not a care in the world. Maybe she's lost?
"Um..." Not a promising beginning, but you have to start somewhere, "can I... help you?"
A doll wouldn't happen, unfortunately, to know much of Justice. While she is not the very smartest, she is certain of a few protocols that come in rather handy during trouble in which she's just not sure of what to do.. or perhaps, when intercepted before what she tries to do.
"Hmm... Oh! Hi!" The nurse speaks, turning to Kiyoko as she looks the girl over. Immediately understanding .. this girl looks exhausted! Or, at least, interested in her. "Yes... I'm looking for the main hall? I'm a practicing nurse... so I'd like to see if I would be able to sign up, or help anyone here.. I've always heard of how violent Southtown is so I was wondering if I could be any help." She nods, smiling to Kiyoko..
"My name is Aprile, too.. it's nice to meet you miss! You're a student here, right? .. Maybe you can help me!" She beams, bowing. "I would be so grateful!" Using her 'real' name!? For shame.
Really, it's not like, however, she introduced herself with the rest of the dolls and was wearing an outfit! Aprile is such a common name. "And Justice High was the closest from where I started.."
The purple haired student smiles at how easy this is going to be, "You're in luck; you're heading right for it. I'm actually headed there myself." Pause, "Well, to the library anyway." Kiyoko seems to be taking the story at face value for the moment, and starts walking towards the hall again, though she matches speed with the nurse so she can be of more help if it's needed. "I'm not really sure where you'd want to go to actually inquire about a job, though. Maybe Principal Imawano's office? Hmm..." It's definitely not something she's ever considered before.
Leaving that where it stands for the moment, the girl starts conversing, "You said you're a nurse, though? You're definitely right about one thing, Southtown can probably use all the nurses it can get it's hands on. People just randomly start beating each other up all the time here. Not so much at Justice that I know of, though there were a few incidences I heard of a while back. "Oh, I'm Kiyoko by the way, and yea, I go to school here." Common courtesy requires she return the bow, which she does.
She as she walks she takes a bit of a closer look at Aprile, suddenly tilting her head to one side and looking a bit more curious than she had earlier. "Aren't you a little... young to be a nurse?" She doesn't look much older than Kiyoko herself, actually.
"Oh? That's really lucky then~!" Aprile says, smiling to Kiyoko, falling in step with her.. or at least staying close.. and as they walk, she does too, her kit swinging. It's a normal box you'd expect, although some mark seems to be somewhat covered. Probably unimportant anyways!
"Well okay!" She exclaims as well, skipping as she moves with Kiyoko. "Oh .. a job? No no! I don't need the money," The red head explains. "I just want to help.. I've learned all of this so I'd be able to help .. and now I have the perfect place!" She comments. "Mhmm.. that's what I've heard of.. and that's why I'm here.. oh really not so much here? .. Then I'll just have to only help out." She tilts her head, pointed hair pointing to her face multiple times. "Oh Kiyoko? That's a nice name."
As Kiyoko finally gets a closer look.. and they stop, Aprile blinks. Oh no, is .. she found out!? "Huh? .. Oh no! I've had lots of practice, and I've been trained as well." She comments, smiling. She's Italian, it seems.. or at least, she's a foreigner! "You're only too young if you can't take the sights.. otherwise.. it's always nice to have more people helping the wounded. Isn't it?"
"Yep! Sure is." It does somewhat make sense that the biggest building around would be the main hall though. ...but Aprile didn't just get here did she? Oh well, it's really none of her business. Kiyoko's not really the suspicious type, even if she is curious from time to time. "So you don't want a job, but just to help out? I don't know if a school would be the best place for you, then. Not Justice anyway. Actually, you could probably just hang out in the area around Gedo if you just want to patch people up. Over there is the rough part of town. You'll even find crazy things like turf wars going on. I've even seen it happen!"
The compliment brings a smile to her face, "You really think so? Thanks!" Aprile explains that she's been trained and Kiyoko seems impressed, "Wow, you must be some kind of genius then. That's pretty neat. You're right though, it's always good to have someone who can help patch people up around. Especially someone who doesn't even want paid." A thought suddenly stops her in her tracks; "Ohh... actually, you might not want to just look for hurt people around there after all. They're so territorial you might just end up one of their targets yourself. I've had that happen to me once, actually..."
As Kiyoko goes on to tell her of this and that.. the doll absorbs it all, listening quietly. "Oh. Yes! Just to help.. oh it isn't?" Oh now that's a problem. She can't get to stay so easily upon Justice ground then. That's .. troubling! And yet Kiyoko helps her.
"Oh .. Gedo would be the best? .. Oooh..." Well, that's certainly something. And it turns out that Gedo are also .. rough, huh? Gedo .. wait. Why is that name familiar.. The girl for a moment, seems to space, before shaking her head. Maybe. Just maybe. "Then I should head over there," She comments, and the compliment as a genius causes her to shake her head. "Nope... I just had to learn. It was taught to me carefully, so I wouldn't mess up when it's time." Whatever that means. "No don't worry!" She comments as Kiyoko explains. "I know they're strong but I'll be fine.. I know how to fight especially well. That was taken care of as well." The girl explains, skipping a bit.
"It wouldn't be helpful if I couldn't even defend myself while under assault!"
Kiyoko nods along, "Yea, like I said, the area around Gedo is the rough side of town. It's not as bad as it used to be, but there are still plenty of people who want to make trouble and a whole bunch of them think that's the best place to do it." That's what she thinks, anyway. There are probably some even shadier places with more adult problems then people beating on each other, but she wouldn't know much about them.
So... she's not a genius. "Oh. So it's just something you've trained for for a long time?" Kiyoko's quick to make assumptions, it seems. "I guess that makes sense too. I guess I was mainly thinking of having to go to college to get training like that." Then Aprile drops the semi bombshell that she thinks she can keep herself safe. "Really? I guess that'd be fine then, yea. Some of them are pretty strong though." Silence for several long moments from her. "I can fight too, actually. I'm not the best, but I still think I'm pretty good."
Following with Kiyoko, Aprile nods, staying close. "Oh.. that's unfortunate." She chirps, adding to the conversation even smaller. And if only Kiyoko knew that the girl before her would be helping something far worse soon! But that's why there are secrets~!
"I've had alot of training.. and most of it was from very talented people. It was provided for me." She says, happily. What, is her family rich or something? "Because it was necessary!" Oh. When Kiyoko mentions about the 'really, I'd guess that'd be fine, Aprile smiles wide. "Oh really? If you'd want to test that.. I'd like to see what you mean about how good you are.. just to make sure that I'm not running into a bunch of brutes who are .. really strong compared to you." The girls smiles wide, swinging the medikit around.
"I promise to patch you up afterwards.. doctor's honor!" Even if she really isn't one. She crosses her fingers, as well.
The girl nods along as Aprile keeps speaking, "You probably need it, to become a nurse at such a young age." Kiyoko doesn't quite get the necessity, but doesn't worry about it enough to press the issue. "Test what? Oh. ...oh! Hmm..." This actually causes her to stop and think. On one hand, it'd be a lot of fun. On the other she still has some studying to do for her essay. ...but she -does- need to take a break, and exercise would probably do her some good. Though she spends time thinking on it, the result was a foregone conclusion.
"Okay, sure! Though... we probably don't want to fight this close to the school building..." And they /just/ got to the door, too! Kiyoko really doesn't want to risk anything that'd be considered vandalism, and if Aprile is as good as she lets on then that's a distinct possibility. "It'd be best if I could go change, but I don't really have the time." She about faces quickly, and starts heading back towards the center of the courtyard, though going at a quick jog's pace rather than a slow walk like she had been. "This should be fun!"
As Kiyoko agrees, Aprile smiles, and nods.. and follows, jogging forwards to the position they're trying to get to. "Oh don't worry.. I don't think I'll harm any of your clothes.. I'll try to prevent that!" Her own blue dress is somewhat long, but it's form fitting, for the most part, at least.. above. Below it's sort of spread out.
"They don't look all that good to fight in .. but I'm the one with the dress!" She jokes, following her, coming to a stop near the center, and looking on to Kiyoko. "Oh .. it'll be fun alright!" To her, especially, she believes. The doll is going to get some information .. and perhaps even leave Kiyoko bleeding!
It's a win win.
"Well.. do you want to go first?" She asks, falling back, hands up, the box held in her hands as well.. held like .. a weapon! "I'm sure you'll do fine!"

"Huh? Oh, that's not what I'm worried about, actually." Kiyoko lets out a little laugh, and then takes a quick look around. Alone- good. The girl shakes her head, "They're not that great, but they're not terrible either. The epaulettes are kind of annoying, though. And ugly." Very ugly. The dress... well, it doesn't look like it's too great to fight in either. But it is /long/ at least. When you're an agile fighter a skirt isn't really the best if you care about modesty- which is her real concern.
The nurse pulls her hands up in what Kiyoko recognizes as some kind of fighting stance. And the box. ...what the heck? Why is she holding it like -that-? "Um..." Kiyoko's hand goes up and rubs at the back of her hair a little. She then shakes her head. Guess you just never know until you see someone fight for the first time. The girl does a quick stretch, interlacing her fingers and then going on her tiptoes as she raises her arms high above her head, and then smoothly drops down into a low stance. It's a classic Tai Chi posture, but not really something you expect to see someone fighting with. Her left leg is kept straight and out in front of her, and her right one is back somewhat and bent. One arm is up in front of herself, and the other is likewise back.
As Aprile asks if she wants to go first, she considers for a moment and then shakes her head. "Nah, it's okay. You can." Of course as she's saying this she's taking the time to scrutinize every minute little detail about the doll- everything from the visible musculature to the length of any heels on her shoes. Any little thing that could be important, she's watching for. Sneaky, isn't she?

"Oh? Oh okay!" Aprile's looking around too. And Aprile lacks that modesty thing. Mainly because she's sort of .. well.. her normal dress is worse. Really. So when Kiyoko looks to her, she blinks. "Huh? Is there something wrong?" APrile asks out in the open, especially as Kiyoko takes a moment to just stare.. that's a bit odd! But Aprile is just happy.. and KIND enough to educate her! "Really.. it'll be alright!" Maybe it's a joke after all?
Perhaps a sick one. As the girl raises her arms, stretching, and smoothly drops low.. the posture is something she recognizes. The dolls are taught to at least know what they are facing against. This is no different. "Ooh.. that's something I haven't seem lately.." She comments, smiling, bowing once more.. before she goes back into the stance, and her style is being noted. Her heels? There's just shoe's. Nurses can't wear heels! .. At least, not her. She needs to run. But the doll doesn't care about this 'sneaky' action.
Always ways around.
"Okay.. since I"m up first!" The doll charges forth, ignoring any 'good' ideas.. and takes off straight towards Kiyoko. That medkit begins to be swung, twice, as she closes in .. red lines crossing in the middle, a bit curved, left in the air..
Before she thrusts the metal weighted medkit straight towards the center, crashing towards Kiyoko with both, red energy and steel weighted object.
"HAH!"

"No, nothings wrong!" Kiyoko means it too- as long as no one is around to watch she's not going to hold herself back. Besides, there's not all /that/ much that she does that's going to make the skirt a problem, anyway. She seems a little surprised when Aprile actually recognizes her fighting stance, though. "You mean you've seen it before? Neat! The only other person I know of that even uses this style is my teacher." And he's not really anyone publicly recognizable.
Ok, here she comes! The nurse runs towards Kiyoko, and begins swinging that medical kit at her. Okay, she can handle that. It's coming a bit quick so she'll pull her arms up while backing off a half step- uh oh, a bit of chi will make it harder to deal with, but not that much. The medkit hits Kiyoko's arms, and the sudden shock of something that is decidedly /not/ chi catches her completely off guard. Her attempted defense is utterly useless, and the weapon crashes through her guard and smacks her in the chest. The impact has a violent result, the small teenager getting flung away while falling to the cement and rolling.
A moment later she's getting to her feet, a hand pressed to the impact point. "Wh, what was that...?" She shakes her head a little, "Like nothing I've ever felt before. ...jeeze." That -hurt-. At least she's strong enough to keep on fighting after a blow like that, but it's definitely going to make her think. If Aprile can hit her /that/ hard hanging back and playing defensively is a decidedly bad idea. Especially when her defense seems useless. That means going on the offense.
She runs forward towards Aprile, needing to make up the distance she was thrown back, and suddenly rolls forward into a handstand once she's close. Now heels over head, (can you tell why the skirt is annoying?), she attempts to bind her legs around the doll's neck. If she manages to get a hold all of her weight shifts backward so that she can pull the redhead right off her feet, swing her all the way over in the air, and then slam her viciously down to the cement on her back.

Oh that's good! Aprile won't have a problem then.. and she nods. "Mhmm.. It's something that I've picked up.. but I'm sure you'll use it differently than I've seen!" And better than the man she killed in Thailand. But that's neither here nor there, is it? It's all about what you don't say.
Aprile makes contact, and then .. the girl is launched away, rolling from the strike. The doll makes an attempt not to laugh, and succeeds. How .. funny! This girl fancies herself strong.. but she has never dealt with psycho power, has she?
Unfortunate for her .. it is. "That's because it's special.. and it was given to me by a very nice man." She replies, happy, a bit too cheerful for what it must sound like. "Well at least you'll know what psycho power feels like!" She adds in, nodding.. before the girl runs towards her, rolling into a handstand.. and ..
Aprile looks on, the skirt sort of .. ... ... more information might be needed to understand why Aprile just looks on towards Kiyoko.. not really responding as the skirt is hanging down and she sees.. closer up, as the legs bind around her neck.. and then slam her onto her feet, and into the cement on her back.
Aprile is no guy.. but the medic has grown close to taking care of the other dolls. She has this thing for the female figure.
You may understand why she doesn't fight back, slamming into the cement. "Geh!" She cries out, body hitting hard onto the earth. Harder than it should. It's like she didn't try to fight back (hint hint).
"... Very nice...." She doesn't mean the style.
"But .. Ah... my turn!" She cries, kicking to her feet, head spinning, but mostly alright. Flipping backwards and up, via the kicking, she leaps back a few... she was easier to chuck than normal, due to the weighted medkit.. could be worse, if she had that pack on. And then she leaps towards Kiyoko, spinning as she leaps.. and arm coming out, backhand forwards, to smash into Kiyoko's side. "Kah!"

Special? Given to her? That's... kinda odd. Kiyoko can't respond right away because she's busy attacking Aprile in ways that would make her face turn red if she knew the young woman's... admiration of the female body. But to Kiyoko it means nothing more than managing to slam Aprile down to the ground, and hard. And best of all she doesn't seem to be able to take things like that so well- she can tell! Now as she hops quickly back to her feet she has some time to talk. "Psycho power? Is that what it's called? It's... some really potent stuff. That or you're just /really/ talented." The hit with the medkit hurt, but good lord if that nasty red energy didn't hurt more!
It looks like Aprile is going to go back on the offensive though, and Kiyoko doesn't feel like getting battered around any more just yet. As she gets leapt at with a backhand, her eyes widen for a moment, and she leaps herself. She goes rather high up into the air and backwards, knees tucked in for obvious reasons, backflips once while up there and lands a fairly large distance away. She then gets a grin on her face, "Okay, lets see how potent mine is compared to yours! Her right arm suddenly swings down diagonally, green chi flaring up along her hand and leaving a trail in the air in the form of a crescent. This trail isn't a simple after effect though- the moment her motion is complete it leaps forward and speeds towards the doll. "Spring Blossom!"

As Kiyoko leaps away, high into the air and backwards, her right arm swinging diagonally, green chi flaring up along her hand and leaving a trail. The crescent speeds towards the doll.. and then as she backflips.. it doesn't go well, the trail slamming into her and causing her to sprawl out, collapsing to the ground, her dress over her head at first, laying there a bit dizzy.. "Neeh... that.. didn't go right..." Aprile comments, before shaking herself off again. "But don't worry .. I'M ALRIGHT!" And kicking to her feet once more, onto her feet, Aprile is BACK in action.. and this seems like a good time as any to take advantage of the separation before them.
"Well... I would not call it TALENT." She points out, grinning. "It's just what I've been given!" Before she raises the medkit, spinning it around herself, and raising it... and suddenly, a red glow envelops herself and outwards, growing into something more.
Her energy reading just SPIKES.

Wow. It seems that her Chi also has a pretty decent affect on Aprile. Not as much as the red energy has on her, but it will at least even the field somewhat. The fact that both of her attacks landed solidly also makes her feel pretty good about this. She's not worried about the medic, either. She seems able enough to take a beating and keep going, and she did claim to be able to stand up to the Gedo crowd, even if she doesn't quite know just how strong they are. "What you've been given? I... don't really know what you mean by that." She gives a small shake of the head and a shrug.
It quickly becomes apparent to her, though, that she's being lured into a trap. She's seen people pull in energy like that before, but not only that she's actually on the lookout for her attacks suddenly being plowed through by those of opponents. Thank Adira for that one. Though she knows she can't hang back forever, she's just /not/ going to go running into a trap that she knows has been lain. She's gotten that gut instinct before and gone against it only to be punished. Luckily a little break right about now is also to her benefit... so it's time for a rest! She doesn't say anything more, but she does give Aprile a little grin.

"Oh... I've been given alot!" She responds, smiling to Kiyoko, bright and cheerful despite the stupid grin.. and yet, as Kiyoko hangs back, Aprile turns her head. "Well.. oh you're hanging back because you're tired." She thinks. "I'm actually kind of hurt myself.. but it shouldn't be too bad!" She comments again, and suddenly finishes her actions, dropping them to the floor. Her hands still hold onto the medkit, but instead of charging in, Aprile leans down, opening the large kit, and shuffles through the objects inside.
"I know it's in here SOMEWHERE." She remarks, shuffling through needles and other things before taking something out.. it's large, circular, and .. "Oh right, it's always at the bottom!" She comments, before she closes the medkit.
And then Kiyoko might see what in her hands. It's a .. weight. A circular one in the middle. It might explain a few things.
"CATCH!" She cries, smiling, before spinning it once, and sending it spiraling towards Kiyoko.
.. She doesn't seem like a very good medic!

Yeah. Kiyoko's still not getting this 'given' thing. Chalk it up to not knowing it's possible for someone to give their powers to another person so that they can use it. It can't be that uncommon a mistake, can it? In the end it simply causes her to scratch her head. She grins more when the nurse speaks about her own tiredness. "Well, that and the fact you're setting me up and I don't wanna run into your waiting arms." Poor thing doesn't know just how true that is.
The opening of the medical kit raises an eyebrow, and she makes sure to stay on guard. Who knows what she could be doing with that thing. The fact that it's a weight that comes out is somewhat surprising. ...and also somewhat of a relief. Some people fight with sharp things. A medic might fight with sharp things with /chemicals in them/. That's just no good! The weight is then thrown towards her, and Kiyoko holds her ground. She holds out her hands and tries to catch it... she succeeds! ...and then her hands slam into her chest as she's unable to stop it's momentum. "Ouch!"
Now her hands are sore too, and that's certainly no good. She shakes them out one at a time, holding onto the weight. "Why would you keep this thing around with you anyway?" She feels the weight around in her hand, and tilts her head this way and that. "Hmm..." She's not usually one for improvised techniques, but... "Alright. I wouldn't want to steal from you, so why don't you take this thing back?!" She doesn't throw it, though. No, instead she leans forward and runs, gripping the weight with both hands as she rushes forward. Her arms pull back and she suddenly stops in front of Aprile, all the momentum and power of the extra weight entering into a modified hammerfist, and right to the temple. "Hrgh!"

As Kiyoko tries to give it back, Aprile is ON THE JOB .. to .. DO SOMETHING. Kiyoko wouldn't know she's a doll. Not at all! And as she scratches her head, "Eh? Oh no no no! I'm .. okaaaaayy. Just a TINY bit." She blinks. Then nods.. "Oh... IIIIiii see." She responds, grinning, as she catches the weight.. and then it's crashed into her. "Oh! Good thanks for catching it..." And as Kiyoko aims to give it back, she runs back towards Kiyoko in response. The weight with both hands is brought towards Aprile.. a modified hammerfist.. but Aprile pulls her medkit back.
"Thank you! .. But how are you able to see through everything too? You probably predicted THIS!" And suddenly she begins to spin.. unlike most of the dolls, it's a vertical one, the medkit causing a red trail around her as she spins, interrupting the hammerfist to sent Kiyoko skywards as she spins upwards.. and then launches Koyoko away with a last swing of the medkit.
"I'm surprised you can see so much but still not recognize a few things!" She grins, happily.
Is she being a friend, or just taunting her now?
That went about as expected. It also hurt, a lot. Though the weighted blow was powerful, it was easily dealt with. The doll spins around with the medkit seeming to be the channel for that nasty psycho power, smashing into Kiyoko and sending her shooting into the air, only to be violently taken out of her brief flight by a horizontal blow. If there were any walls nearby Kiyoko would undoubtedly be inside one of them right now- the very reason she didn't want to be anywhere near the school buildings.
She's definitely not feeling to hot, but at the same time there's no way she's going to just up and give up. Right now winning isn't important to her, but making a good impression is. "Yeah... I was mainly taught how to defend myself, not how to hurt other people. It's great for when I just need to keep myself from getting hurt... but keeping yourself from harm isn't going to win any battles." That's one thing she's realized about herself, at least.
She finally manages to peel herself from the ground. She's really got to step it up! She comes in towards Aprile again, but this time does it in a much more cautious way. "Don't underestimate me though- I know a lot about anatomy too!" That probably doesn't make any sense until she actually gets close to Aprile, but when she does she displays her knowledge quite handily- by suddenly swinging her arms around and trying to jam her fingers painfully into pressure points. She's pretty smart about it too, aiming specifically for the medic's arms. Everything she's done seems to somehow involve both her arms and that medkit, so if she can disable those... well, maybe she'd be helpless! Or so she hopes.

As Kiyoko is knocked to the side, Aprile is still nursing that strike.. Owww! It really hurt actually. It's just she was sort of busy trying not to get her face beaten in. Not that it matters when Kiyoko explains why she was taught. "Oh? .. I'm happy it's getting use!" She says, speaking to her as she explains it all. Keeping yourself from harm.. doesn't. It's true! But then, Aprile doesn't have training in lowering damage. Just undermining it. And she does alright. She does.
"Well I'm not! .. Oh you do?" She asks, blinking, before Kiyoko rushes in, swinging her arms around, jamming her fingers all around. She aims for the arms alright.. but while she doesn't hit straight on, Aprile is certainly just OFFERING her hands up to be poked and prodded and weakened.. wincing, Aprile grins.. "Well you see.. you're nice and all but you should leave the medical attention to the professionals!" She calls out, before backing off, her arms like jelly. ".. OH.. I see what you were doing." And she's backing up, staggering almost with her arms hanging.. wincing.. but the doll ignores that. For a medic, she seems to not care about her personal health.
And suddenly she's up, after Kiyoko again. "Alright.. here goes... CANNON SPIKE!"
If she's seen thailand, she's probably seen this strike before.. and as she spins towards Kiyoko's legs, she kicks her up and out of the spindrive with a strike, if she gets a good assault in.
"HAH!"

Kiyoko seems to have somewhat accomplished what she'd intended, but in the end it's not of much use. Most of her attacks were intercepted, and the fact that Aprile /can/ use her legs to devastating effect is suddenly obvious. The forward than up kick catches Kiyoko by surprise, and she's forced into a hurried defense, quickly throwing her arms in front of her body to try and stave the blow off. It's the first time she actually manages to hold her ground against that potent red psycho power.
She's still forced back, however, stumbling a little but managing to keep her balance. She grits her teeth, struggling against the pain that keeps building up inside of her as she keeps on fighting. Her body has been simply hammered throughout this entire fight. "Okay... time to get medieval on your ass!" She learned that trash talking can be an asset in her fight against Aranha, though it comes out kind of silly this time.
What comes out properly is her attack. She rushes towards Aprile, and leaps into the air at her. Both of her legs are extended, and she tries to slam her heels into the nurse's chest. What happens next, if there is a next, will probably make Aprile very happy. Rather than continuing to kick, jumping away, or unleashing a barrage of energy, she tilts backwards and hooks her legs around the doll's neck.
Yes, it's this again.
If her hold is solid she whips her weight backwards, viciously slamming her to the ground. But it doesn't end there. Using the impact against the ground, she rebounds back up into the air, maintaining her hold, and twists around so that she can bash her opponents face into the ground instead of her back. And then she does it again. And again. And again. All the while, legs wrapped ever so firmly around the medic's neck.

And it's showing. As Kiyoko threatens to get 'medieval' on her ass, Aprile smiles. "Uh .. are you sure that's healthy? Someone could get hurt!" She notes, looking towards the girl. And then she stumbles forwards, forced back, keeping her balance.. and then she rushes forwards.. and as she leaps into the air..
Aprile sort of braces herself, readying to take a fall..
And then after the kick.. her legs hook around the dolls neck. Aprile blushes.... beet red, as she just stares forwards for some time.. staying red. And then shakes herself out of it. "A-Almost got me there with ... t-that again!" She comments, before slammed into the ground.. but the doll twists, the medkit, as she's slammed into the ground, making a single red streak in the air, before she slams another directly across, a brightly glowing red cross, Aprile kicking towards it and spinning it ( okay, with the dress? It's billowing backwards.. which means Kiyoko might not see it begind the red circle. ) to break through anything Kiyoko could do before she could grasp her again.
"But .. T-TH..hank you.." She bursts out, blushing red, after landing..
".. That was a really nice sight.." She comments again, out of it.
And then bows.. "Are.. you okay though?"
Okay, so that didn't go as planned or expected at all. Kiyoko expected to beat Aprile into the ground with lots of face on concrete action. Instead she manages to get a kick in, and then is summarily /destroyed/ by a foot bashing into her skull, a huge cross made out of that angry red energy slamming into her at the same time. For the third time in the fight she's knocked clean away from Aprile, but this time it's in much more of a ... ragdoll fashion. She's simply taken too much punishment to be able to keep this up, and for the moment it seems to have completely overwhelmed her.
Thank goodness she misses the blushing that goes along with the stammered thanks! The question of how she's doing goes unanswered for several moments, but then Kiyoko finally sits up. "U-ugh... My head really hurts from all that stuff." She dramatizes this by rubbing the side of her head with one hand where her temple is. Ever so slowly she manages to pull herself back to her feet. "D-don't thank me yet, I'm not finished!" Stammering from the pain, she still tries to prove her worth.
What comes next a disjointed, slow run towards the doll, green energy once again forming on her hands once she starts getting close. She begins lashing out, swinging her hands around in the circular motions known to be used in Tai Chi exercises, her hands not even attempting to make contact, but instead simply get close enough to deliver the energy. There's great effort involved, but due to the circumstances it's poorly executed.

That looks .. nasty. Aprile stares. Yowww. That wasn't something you see every day.. but landing on her back, or ragdolling.. Kiyoko finally sitting up.. oh that's not good. As she sits up, pulling herself back to her feet, Aprile looks on.. standing still. "I know.. come at me!"
And then Kiyoko runs with a disjointed, slow speed at her, green energy formed as she lashes out, hands in circular motions.. and the effort shows alright.. because it hits Aprile hard. Really hard. She's battered.. but she grasps Kiyoko as she strikes, keeping her up.
"Don't overdo it though.. and let me patch you up." She adds, smiling. "You've been so good to me .. I want to make sure you don't miss anything!" And ccaaarefully letting Kiyoko sit down, or the like .. she'll crack open that medkit and use it .. FOR GOOD. Or, to heal Kiyoko.. even if the doll looks rather beaten down.
Ouch. She can sure throw a punch! Or, toss her with chi, or launch her, that is.
