Description: Hakuya Suigetsu has been invited to show the crowd at the YFCC a thing or two about throwing when it comes to martial arts. When Shurui accidentally shows up in the classroom looking for a quiet place to read, what follows is a hard and fast spar that challenges the two fighters to be at their best. (This event ICly takes place before Ayame and Marise's PSI Kidnapping plot.)
Hakuya had been to the YFCC once before, when it had opened. There he had met Futaba Hotaru and fought with her, only to be interrupted when two other men showed up and started to fight each other, drawing everyone's attention. Since then, Hakuya hasn't had much reason to come back. Not because he didn't like the place, or thought that scary men in masks constantly hung around there, screaming about Kyokugen Pride, but simply he felt no reason to wander back here. That is, until he was specifically tracked down by one of the instructors here who wanted someone to show his beginner class how one properly issued throws. Hakuya was relatively well known within Southtown due to his appearances on SNF and the Jinchuu tournament, not to mention him being a Guardian King, so it's not altogether too surprising he was asked - he was, however, still a bit surprised. After all, it's hard to get the grappler to admit he was good at anything, he's so humble. He'd go on and on about how much better his friends were than he was, nevermind that he was, objectively, possibly one of the strongest people out of his team, to say nothing of the entirety of Gedo proper.
So after some hemming and hawing, here Hakuya was at a beginner's course looking like he normally does: happy, if unobservant and, frankly, unobtrusive. His usual easy smile was being worn as he listens to the teacher speak to his students on how, when one throws, it's not really about you using power, but rather redirecting another's power for your own benefit. Sure, the teacher could show how to throw someone until he was blue in the face, but it helped to have a younger person show it - it tended to make the teenagers and kids connect better. And also that the instructor couldn't make it in the professional league, and so Hakuya was better than him, at least in that regard. "Now, Suigetsu-san here will be demonstrating the proper technique to throwing. I'm sure many of you are familiar with him through his SNF matches, so let's watch an expert, eh?" Hakuya dips his head in an embarrassed gesture, rubbing the back of his head nervously. "Ah, I'm not -that- good..." he mutters.
What's the YFCC without at least one NESTS clone lurking about? Fortunately (or unfortunately, depending on how you look at it), it's the shorter of the two, as well as the one who's pretty clueless about NESTs in general. She's also probably the least irritable of the two, and, as a plus, she's not wearing a mask! ..... Then again, neither does the other clone, BUT THIS IS BESIDE THE POINT.
The point? Shurui's wandering down the hallway, a bunch of books tucked underneath one arm as she attempts to find a nice, quiet room free of children who'd steal her glasses as well as people who'd try to pick on her. She'll be having none of that today!
Blindly (no pun intended) opening a door to a room that's usually empty during this time of day without bothering to check if that is, indeed, still the case, Shurui finds herself.... the center of attention. "....." An awkward pause is spent adjusting the shades on her glasses, peeking out from underneath. Yes, lots of people. There's a class in here. "....... Um, excuse me-" She inches back towards the door, reaching for the knob to make her exit.
DISENGAGE, DISENGAGE.
The class turns in unison to stare at the newcomer. The resulting 'jiiiiiii' can nearly be heard. Except, not really. A few people glance backwards to see who's disturbing the class (as lateness isn't tolerated, it lacks discipline!). The teacher and Hakuya as well notice Shurui, and the teacher, knowledgable of all the Gedo schoolkids nearby, suddenly gets an idea. Raising a hand, he waves over to Shurui, and grins Real Big. "Hey there! Would you mind helping out in this little demonstration of ours? It'd help out the kids." Hakuya blinks as this is said, glancing up to the teacher and then over to Shurui again. Fighting someone else? That's what seems to be being suggested, here. Rubbing the back of his head again in that nervous way of his, Hakuya gives Shurui a bit of a shrug, and still, as always, that easy smile. He doesn't recognize the girl at all, despite them going to the same school, but he always was a bit unobservant about such things. The teacher goads some more, motioning the NESTs clone back into the room. "Come on, the kids already seem excited!" And that they do, the students looking interested in seeing a sparring match.
"......" Hakuya might as well have been speaking in a foreign language, at first. ".... Depends what the demonstration is," she says carefully, eyes raking over the group of blurry faces. Kids.
Some of them, on the younger end, even seem to know her. "Shushu-chan, don't hurt him!"' "I wanna see a girl beat up someone else!" "Aw, she's a pushover, he'll beat her before we take our bathroom break!" The older ones? ..... They either seem suspuciously quiet, or don't even seem to know the girl at all. One silently asks, "Isn't she part of the last team that Kain beat up?" "... Yeah, I think so. With the Korean dude and the chick from Gedo." "... Dude, she's from Gedo too, right?" "..... she looks like she's still in middle school."
".... If it's.... just a spar, okay." Her halting words don't seem to be due to any sort of shyness, just... a careful sort of speaking that marks her emotions as something close to caution. Yes, caution. ...... well, they COULD be having a tickling match or something! She doesn't attend these classes, so she doesn't know!
Quietly, she sets her books down on a desk nearby and walks up. "... Shurui Chiang," the grey-haired girl simply says, if only to stop any instances of 'Shushu' being passed around those who don't know better. "..... You are?"
Hakuya hasn't said a word, so far. Mostly the instructor is doing the talking. After all, two Gedo students, both good fighters, duking it out for his kids? Hell, even the teacher himself would like to see that! Hakuya watches Shurui (reluctantly?) cautiously make her way towards the front of the room, tilting his head and noting with some concern that she doesn't seem all that open. Though the Suigetsu heir wasn't really doing much in the way of sizing up his opponent, he takes more notice of her mental state. Was she being put upon? Oh my, that simply wouldn't do. However, before he makes any other comment, he first raises a hand to his cheek, and scratches uncertainly. "Shushu?" he offers. That was her name, apparently, according to the kids in the crowd! But then he's corrected: "Chiang-san! It's nice to meet you. I'm Hakuya." Rather than offering a hand forward, he bows forward, a little lower than is normal, and straightens back up. His hands slide free of his hoodie's front pocket, and as the teacher slides off to the side in order to give the two room, he makes some comment or another about how to 'watch them closely'. "Um... I don't want to be rude, but if you don't want to fight-" he's assuming, of course, she -can- fight given that she's one, here, and two, recognized by the students and also the teacher, who called her up to begin with, "-it's okay, I can just demonstrate with the teacher, like he wanted to do originally." The teacher pales a little. He knows Hakuya's good with the throws.

The name makes the girl wince, and it's echoed loudly by the same little girl from earlier. "Shushu-chan's cuter!" Looking defeated despite the fight having not yet started, Shurui looks back into the audience. "Shu. Rui." Giggles of laughter ring out like crystal among the younger ones present, causing Shurui's eyes to close and her mouth to twitch as she turns her head back to the silent Hakuya.
Hakuya. Where has she heard that name?
"..." Shurui thinks about it a while, those dark eyes scrutunizing the GK member in front of her. ".... You're a member of Guardian Kings, aren't you?" The cautious atmosphere around the girl almost instantli dissipates, leaving behind something more casual. "Alright. I wouldn't mind the idea of sparring one of you at all." Wasn't there another one she met? Kenji? ..... She really was more than a little rude to that guy.
Dusting off her own hoodie, pale rose to Hakuya's white, she settles cleanly into her stance, legs slightly parted with one foot placed in front and one in back, and her hands held open, fingertips pointing towards Hakuya. "..... You first." Actually, the girl is taking the time to further study Hakuya, eyes marking each and every break in that clean white aura, that energy that makes up Hakuya in her third eye.

Hakuya 0/-------/-------|-------\-------\0 Shurui
Hakuya laughs a little bit in a cheerful way as the name is bickered over. He'll just stick to the last name himself, even though Shurui Chiang sounds Chinese... and Hakuya isn't sure if it's more polite to address one by the first name or last, in this case. But they're in Japan, right? He'll just stick with the default, himself. But then she professes knowing him, at least by reputation, and also that she 'doesn't mind the thought' of sparring 'one of them'. This causes the Suigetsu heir to blink a bit, scratching his cheek again in that somewhat uncomfortable way of his. "Ah... well, yes, I am!" He says, and the uncomfortableness seems to vanish entirely, replaced with his normal easy smile. "Well, I'll try to do my best, then, if you're wanting to fight me as a Guardian King." He slips into his own fighting stance, hands held out in front of him with his hands unclenched, palms facing towards Shurui.
She offers him the first attack. Normally, he'd be the one to do that, except there are two things that prevent him from simply backing down and letting her do the first attack as per his usual. The first is that he notices the intent studying being done of his person. The motions of the eyes where he can see them tell him Shurui's already making her own first move, in a way. The second thing is that he's long since past thinking he 'has' to give up the first punch, particularly to girls - he's been taught that particular error more than once by Marisol. Nodding his head, he steps forward with his front leg, then brings his other foot forward and plants it down in front of him. This footing is used to snap his hands forward, palms thrusting out to try and hit Shurui at both of her sides, then switching around to strike out again, this time at her throat and her stomach, and finally finishing up with a shoulder rush to the Chinese girl's middle.

The awkwardness Hakuya feels at being recongized seems to almost transfer briefly to Shurui. ".... Well, just fight me as you are. Whatever will have you at your best." .... It does feel awkward, to be remembered for something you never considered as something that makes you famous. It was after their fight with Kain that Shurui really became familiar with the Guardian Kings beyond Kenji's description, if only because, by going to Gedo, it's hard *not* to.
It's probably an odd thing, watching Shurui's eyes. It's almost as if she's looking *through* the Suigetsu heir, not drawn to the usual points of things like eyes, mouth, or anything to do with the face, but things like.... joints. Palms. Lines that do not actually appear anywhere on Hakuya's body, yet attract the girl's sight like a moth to a flame.
Hakuya makes his move, and Shurui moves almost instantly in turn with a grunt, as if in a dance, narrowly avoiding the thrust palms, first at her sides, then at her throat and gut. Entranced by this opening, Shurui moves in, attempting to grab the white-garbed young man's arm, attempting to bring him in...

Shurui grabs ahold of Hakuya and shifts the upper half of his body downward in a swift motion, jamming a foot against his knee. Then, just as quickly, she pulls him back, jamming a knee into Hakuya's back, then releases him, allowing him to fall the rest of the way.
The first thought that runs through Hakuya's mind is: whoa, she's fast! This done particularly when Shurui dodges out of the way of his palm strikes, then grabs his arm. Though the attack is typically meant to be done from a defensive position, the swiftness of the grabbing hand catches him a little overextended, and he's pulled in. This is where the second thought comes in: ow. Hakuya has been hit harder, it's true, but for the swiftness of it, he was expecting something a little lighter. Foot to his knee, then knee to his back, the Suigetsu heir is deposited onto the floor mat the two of them are fighting on. "Ow ow ow," he says into the facemat, then rolls to his side, ending up on his back. He's not there for very long, however, as he plants his hands and one foot on the ground to push himself up, then swirls around in a twisting motion in order to sweep his free foot out towards the aura-reader's legs, intending on sweeping her right up and off her feet, sending -her- to the floor as well. The audience oohs and ahhs at them, already enjoying the show even though it just now started.

Shurui's quick, but Hakuya proves himself to be just as agile. Almost at the exact moment of Hakuya's movement to trip the short girl, she's attempting to dodge- but, this time, Hakuya catches her in the act. "Oof!" The clone's feet are swept clean off the mat, sending her tumbling to the mat to the cheers and exclaimations of awe from the audience.
Rolling over to plant her palms against the leniant cushioning of the mat and push herself back onto her feet, Shurui whirls around, sweat beginning to form on her forehead and a slow smirk crawling along the thin line of her lips. Her opponent's good. Not some bother like the sorts who would pick on her, only to be mowed down. An actual fighter who stood up to the likes of Kain Heinlein. Sure, the Guardian Kings lost, but so did the team she was a part of!
Whirling around, Shurui leaps slightly into the air and sends her foot flying towards Hakuya's face, momentum turning the old sneakered foot into something far more hard-hitting and painful.

Hakuya 0/-------/-----==|=======\-------\1 Shurui
Hakuya is already up on his feet by the time Shurui gets there, his momentum carrying the sweeping foot forward, and in a almost break dance-like maneuver, he swirls to his feet, earning another 'ooh' from the kids. Turning, he looks to see where Shurui ended up after he swept her, and sees the clone is already in the process of attacking again, which makes Hakuya think 'she's fast!' yet again. Blinking, there's little time to do too much other than just meat through the attack, so he sets his feet firmly once more, and then lifts his hands towards the kick. Rather than blocking, however, his hands meet Shurui's ankle just as the foot impacts his chest, but it doesn't seem to do a great deal of damage, likely because he's already moving when the foot hits. He steps backwards, then tugs on the girl's foot, changing her momentum from downwards to forwards, and seems to be intent on bringing her by her ankle over his head, and then right back down onto the mats. However, this is not so. For when he brings her down, he simultaneously raises his knee to bring it into his opponent's stomach, sending her back up into the air, which he grabs her out of once more, and once more brings her up, over and down in a German-style suplex to the mat, likely bringing a great deal of pain to the mix. He rolls away from the Wing Chun fighter, pushing himself up to his feet. "Whew... didn't think I was going to be able to do that..." he says, and oddly sounds like he really means it, a note of worry in his voice.
That almost crystalline energy, white and seemingly pure of heart, courses through Hakuya's body, too quick for Shurui to act upon as he counters her attack, his hands wrapped around Shurui's ankle.
..... What does her third eye say? 'The next moments may or may not be hell.' This vague not-judgment comes from the way that momentum is recycled back, and the impressive precision on Hakuya's part as the world suddenly starts spinning, spinning
Oh fuck ow. "Grkt-" Shurui's face squints together in in a knotted expression of pain and nausea. Hakuya's words of worry are distantly noted in her head as she rolls over, pressing herself back onto her feet. "You did," come the words, neutrally, as Shurui turns around, mentally fighting the temporary urge to throw up right in front of the mannerly young man. Her next words leak a certain amount of well-earned respect: ".... Makes me glad I didn't decline." The last note of Shurui's words becomes distorted as she darts forward, attempting to plant a deceptive-looking punch to the young man's torso.
If it connects, an explosion of grey energy ignites from the point of impact and out Hakuya's back, like a lance through his body. This display gets disconnected, however, when Shurui plants her other fist on Hakuya's chest, instantly shorting out the live connection of energy.

There's not much time to ask if Shurui's okay after that hit, for while she does compliment him, after a fashion, she's already moving to strike at him again, fist lashing out to hit him square in the chest. His defensive measure is to do what he normally does in this cases, and just meat through it. It's just a punch, after all. He's used to that sort of pain! But rather than being 'just a punch' the clone gives him a bit of a surprise, as he suddenly feels a lance of pure energy strike through his body. If he weren't already expecting pain and just moving through it, it might've been a great deal more of a trouble. He's felt this kind of energy before... Stasya uses the same kind of energy, though he never really figured out what it was. Regardless, though, now he knows something else about Shurui: her energy attacks -hurt-, and he'll be sure to remember that note in the future! But regardless of this, he's already moving, if a bit more wobbly than he intended. He attempts to grab up the Chinese girl's arm and tug her towards him, all so he can pick her up off the ground and start to rush forward, Hakuya racing at a fast clip for the other side of the room. When he's close to the other wall, he seems to stop in place, his forward momentum suddenly canceling as he twists about in a 180 turn, placing all that built up kinetic energy behind Shurui, who is sent sailing to the floor roughly.

The punch connects, and the resulting energy makes some of the kids scream, albiet mostly with a mixture of fear and delight, as if they were simply watching a movie. Brutal grappling and throwing moves, alongside weird energy ones? It's a win-win combination, no matter who's rooting for who.
What Hakuya's found out about Shurui probably mirrors her own observation about anything he does that involves him getting a good grip on her. She doesn't want to lose her lunch *that* readily, especially if he attempts that one tactic again! Twisting away from Hakuya's grasp at the last second, Shurui nearly falls back against the group of onlookers, hopping on the ball of one foot and doing another twist to invert the direction of her fall back. "...!" That was close.
.... At least she's got a possible opening. Darting in, Shurui twists her waist, bringing her leg in low to swing against Hakuya's upper calf.

Unfortunately, that particular attack tends to get dodged often, and as such, Hakuya knows quite well by now how to turn the exceeding momentum into a recovery, though it's not altogether a quick recovery. His feet dig into the floor, skidding a little as his oddly nice sneakers dig in, and he twists, dispensing his momentum into the turn. Unfortunately he's a little wobbly, and it leaves him with little to no time to properly react to Shurui's ensuing kick. So again, takes the kick to the leg, the knee buckling just a little bit under the pressure, but otherwise appearing to not faze the young man all that much. Or, well, if it does faze him more than the knee, it's hard to see, for no sooner does the foot impact him than does his fist lash out, a open palmed strike aiming straight for Shurui's jawline in a quick snap motion.
COMBATSYS: Shurui parries Hakuya's Strong Punch!

Hakuya 1/-------/=======|-------\-------\0 Shurui
The exchange is quick; Shurui barely has begun to swing her foot back when Hakuya's energy flows to his fist, a shift so instantaneous that it would be impossible for Shurui to dodge out of this one. So she does the next thing that comes naturally: she diverts the flow of Hakuya's arm. It sounds like a relatively simple tactic, but a fist with that amount of momentum has to be treated carefully. So carefully that, if Shurui thought about it, she'd royally screw up and be tasting the rewards of her failure with a jawline that's sore for days.
In a movement that is more instinct than thought, Shurui jams her arm against Hakuya's own precisely, a movement that could only amount to the pain of a light slap across the wrists. However, in this movement, Shurui is able to prove enough room to neogoiate avoiding Hakuya's fist, the knuckles skirting against the clone's hoodie as she moves her body away from his arm.
The audience is entrapped; the two fighters are *definitely* providing a challenge to one another, much moreso than a match between the teacher and Hakuya. Feet rooted to the ground, Shurui's body moves very little as she attempts to press her fist into Hakuya's side with her body as the anchor, a flare of psi power adding to the force of a simple but forceful one inch punch.

The moves are viciously fast. Made at such a close range, it's a wonder either of the two combatants can react in time. Certainly when Hakuya's fist snaps out to strike Shurui's jaw, even the Suigetsu heir doesn't think there'd be enough time for Shurui to do much to deflect the blow. But then there's a hand striking his in an effort to redirect his punch, and his palm moves past the girl's head rather than into it. The reprisal is made just as lightning fast at his own punch, and given the even more decreased range, Hakuya has precisely no time to react to it doing anything other than sheer reflex. Fortunately for him, his time spent at the Suigetsu house drilled his family's secrets into his body even more than their fists taught him to defend against attacks. His other hand, the one not being redirected, snaps forward and interposes itself between Shurui's fist and his side, effectively catching the strike despite the closeness of the two fighters. The flare up of psi encounters resistance - it seems to stop before it can reach its own height of power, and then flows /back into/ Shurui. Following this up, Hakuya's hand drives forward, pushing on the clone's fist, and his other hand soon joins, to drive a somewhat weakened dual palm strike into the Wing Chun fighter's stomach, hopefully driving her back to give them both room to move. Hakuya pauses after it's done, panting a little, the effort expended to drive back the other fighter's energy apparently a touch taxing.
In this moment, this vicious exchange of fists and energy, Shurui is flowing along on instinct and response, resulting in something far more precise and quick-acting. It's no wonder she's able to do such moves while blind-folded; even without her third eye, the notion to react and combo comes have been thoroughly drilled into her, sometimes literally. Muda certainly tried to make up for whatever years she was missing in her memory.
Of course, whether or not they work while Shurui's blindfolded is an entirely different story, depending on her opponent's own skill and expertise.
Now, it's Hakuya's turn to shine. One moment, Shurui feels a vexing resistance and blocking in the flow of energy directed at the Suigetsu heir; the next moment, she's sent back, her own gray transparent energy directed at her in full force. Thankfully, not as bad as Kain kicking her with a chi-soaked foot, but still a surprising move. Panting as Hakuya does, her upper half stooped over, Shurui makes an admission. "..... No wonder you... did so well against Kain. The team I was placed in... we lasted just about as long as you." She thinks so, anyway. After a certain point, the events of that battle just sort of faded into pain and black chi as Kain made short work of her and her teammates.
Whether or not Hakuya answers, Shurui straightens and lifts her hands, shifting her feet. "... Let's keep going. I won't stop unless you do." Her opponent's skill and friendly attitude do little to summon the girl's more uncouth side; in fact, she's actually in a better mood than when she came in her, despite the aches and pains of her body. "Haumph!" Her hand suddenly flicks up in a wide arc, releasing a cresent of grey psycho energy, echoing wisps trailing behind it as it zooms towards Hakuya.
Thank god no one in particular is behind him if he dodges.

After a couple quick pants, Hakuya's feet shift so he stands up a bit straighter, adopting his original fighting stance, though he doesn't look entirely better just yet, his breathing still being forced to go deep and slow, rather than being done normally. "If... you lasted as long as we did, I think you did just as well," he says, offering a smile that lights up his whole face, even though he doesn't take his eyes off Shurui. The girl was really good; he was surprised, honestly, at just how good. Pleasantly, of course. It was an experience pretty much akin to having fun when fighting, which was something that only happened when he was facing an excellent opponent... but there was no pressure to do anything other than simply exchange blows. Fighting, but not to hurt, not to prove one another was better, but simply for fun. Even as he settles into a more nominal stance, his eyes still smile. "Right... this is fun, I won't stop 'til it's over!"
And with that, Shurui throws her attack. The arc of energy slashes towards him, and his feet attempt to move him to the side, but not quick enough. It lances into him, and he grunts aloud, a sharp exhultation of pain. But he's not staggered for long, merely a step back, which is immediately corrected with a step forward, then another, closing quickly to the Wing Chun fighter. His hand snaps out again, palm striking towards the clone's stomach, intending on stunning her momentarily, so his other side can sweep in, arm intent on driving an elbow directly into Shurui's sternum roughly.

".... I didn't last too long... but I lasted longer than I thought I would," admits the short girl. Hakuya's smile is infectious; Shurui can't help but develop a vague hint of a similiar grin on her own lips. When someone is that laid-back, courteous, and happy, Shurui isn't the sort to respond back with vicious anger unless she has a reason or mood already about her. "... Okay. I'll agree to that."
There's nothing to gain or lose in this fight, and, in that, Shurui finds the most freedom, even moreso than a league fight or a SNF match. Of course, Oswald was unique in that he was engaging her like an equal; in that first neoleague match, when she heard his words after she lost, Shurui still felt a sense of victory. Then there's this young man, someone who doesn't have anything overt about him that could irk the grey-haired girl just yet, with a skill that challenges her own abilities to a possible breaking point.
The palm comes, and, once more, Shurui intercepts, arm knocking the fist directed to her stomach and the other to her sternum, the skin of her hand slapping lightly and disengaging as it nudges the combo of fists off its elusive target. "... You're very fast," she compliments, even as she goes in for an attack of her own, attempting to grasp one of those possibly recoiling arms and twist, locking Hakuya's body against hers long enough to jam a foot against the back of his calves. Following this possible course of action, Shurui allows Hakuya to fall back, pressing down to plant a few quick jabs to the body before pulling away.

There's no time to answer back to either of the Wing Chun girl's comments, for while he may be fast, he's definitely not 'fast enough' to evade what she attempts to do next. His arm grabbed, he's twisted and kicked and made to fall to the floor, whereupon he's dealt a number of blows to his torso. Each blow, if light, still causes him a small grunt of pain, until Shurui backs off, leaving the slightly dazed Hakuya on the floor, staring up. Wasn't -he- supposed to be the one giving the throwing demonstrations? In any case, after only a few moments longer than he should be on the floor, he gets up to his feet, panting a touch, then steps forward. That one step can be seen clearly, as it's a normal step. The others that follow seem to blur as he darts in towards the clone. Once he reaches her, he presses one foot to her stomach, which isn't meant to hurt, more to press off of. What for? Well, the other foot hooks upwards, aiming to slam itself into Shurui's jaw in a flip kick of sorts, but that doesn't end the pain right there. Far from it, while Shurui is (hopefully) stunned from the kick, Hakuya reaches in to grab at the other fighter's waist, and then if successful with that, lifts her up and over, then back down again in a suplex, before rolling away.

It seems there's lots of throwing going around here, and Hakuya's not the one doing all of it. He soon shows, however, that he knows this subject through and through. This time, his foot comes in too fast for Shurui to knock away or dodge from her stomach, the second one delivering a brutal kick to the jaw, causing Shurui's mouth to sputter a spray of spit coupled with a dab of pink mixed therein. But that's not the end of it.
... When Hakuya rolls away from smashing Shurui to the mat, the clone gets up, stumbling a foot away while she attempts to steady the amount of blurry spinning the room suddenly seems to be going. "...." Okay, time to do this, before she does something like throw up her lunch. A few quick steps and Shurui ducks into Hakuya's space, one fist at the ready to impact against the centerline of Hakuya's chest. This is followed by another if the first connects, starting a wheeling motion that combines the battering strength of both fists in a cresendo of revolving punches.

Hakuya 0/-------/---====|=------\-------\0 Shurui
His victory at having hit her full on with one of his more punishing techniques is eclipsed some by the fact that Shurui instantly counters with her own attack. Fists begin to fly, and though he tries to raise his arms to block, the powerful punches simply rock right through his guard, even though he's set to lessen the blow somewhat with his stance. They still hurt, though. Ow. Staggering back with a couple of the punches, he's knocked to one knee at the end of the series of attacks, panting heavily after he's done. "Rgghh..." he growls out, not really in challenge, but simply in exhaustion. He was at the end of his rope, here... so he's only got one more attack in him. Rising up again, he moves forward, quick though sluggish compared to his other attacks. He attempts to grab Shurui by the front of her hoodie, then jerk her forwards, twisting her around into a kind of flip throw. Before she can simply crash into the ground, however, his foot lashes out, and his heel attempts to slam right into her stomach, sending her down to the floor a lot quicker than she might've unaided. Regardless of whether the attack is made or not, he collapses back to one knee, panting, and waves an arm. "Eh heh, I'm just no match for Chiang-san!"
COMBATSYS: Hakuya can no longer fight.

The grap connects with the front of her hoodie, and, before Shurui knows what's happening, she's being sent down to the ground, the force with which she slams into it aided by Hakuya's sharp heel. "GKT-" An utterly gutteral sound comes out of Shurui's mouth upon impact, and, for a while, Shurui doesn't bother to move, too dizzy to do much beyond breathe and close her eyes.
".... ...." One eye finally opens, the corner of which notices the warped faces, imbued with the energies of their bodies, hunched over her and Hakuya. On edge. As if... worried. .... Shurui's not sure; it's Stasya who is the empath. Hakuya's words do much to ease them, and Shurui decides to do her part as well. Pressing a hand to her nose in an attempt to hold back the tickling flow of blood from her nose, Shurui mumbles, ".... I'm fine, you guys."
No match for Hakuya? .... Shurui'd beg to differ, but, right now, she's just trying to keep the room from spinning. But then, focusing on the laid-back whiteness that is Hakuya's energy, the nausea stills.
Steadying herself, she says, "That.... was a good spar."
