Ayame - Operation - Not Making a Difference?

Description: Objective: Being a petty thief and general nuisance. Obstacle: Madam Chairperson. Alias: None. Summary: Figuring that enough time had passed since she had last been a pest at Taiyo High, Ayame ventures into the campus again to create idle trouble. What she doesn't expect is an inexperienced yet determined student leader to get in the way. Ayame insists that there's nothing the less capable fighter can do that is going to matter at all, that she can't hope to make a difference, but by the time she walks away the victor, one might have to wonder if that's entirely true?

It's been a few months since the young, strawberry-blonde menace had visited Taiyo High. Her last venture onto the campus had her run into the all too capable soccer fighter, Roberto, who went so far as to take her picture and post warning pictures of her all over the place. That worked to keep the ne'er-do-well away for a while, but after enough time has passed and most of the posters have faded, been torn down, or just been forgotten about, Ayame is happy to test the memory of the student body, convinced that for all Roberto's efforts there's no way that posters alone can keep her off campus for good...

Thus it is she has made her way around, being a general menace like usual. Pickpocketing the easy targets after checking to make sure there's no wallet chains to get in the way of her theft... swipping bracelets or rings when the chance presents itself. 'Haven't I seen you somewhere before?' remarked one girl a bit more astute than most. 'Oh, no, I'd definitely remember if we had met before,' Ayame had replied, waving away the concern and moving right along before anyone got too suspicious...

Now into the hall of the main building the girl has progressed. Spying a nice blue hair ribbon from a black haired girl Ayame swipes it without even pausing her steps, winding it up and stuffing it into a pouch attached to her belt. Whistling quietly, resting her hands behind her head, Ayame stops in front of a trophy display for the various Taiyo sports teams.

Her mouth curling into a faint smirk as she spies a very nice trophy for the Taiyo High soccer team... Remembering the embarrassment Roberto caused for her last time she was here, Ayame taps her chin thoughtfully, pondering how it would be nice to get revenge, albeit a bit indirectly...

Ayame's stealing spree goes unimpeded. She takes anything her grubby hands can get on, and it's not noticed.

Until someone reported missing something.

Heading through the halls, there's someone who hasn't forgotten about the assaults in the past, the warnings and the pictures. She just hasn't paid attention to the thought lately, mostly due to the calm nature of the schools recent happenings. As Ayame goes into the hall of the main building, spying the trophy display for the various sports, the girl's rounds had brought her about the corner into the hall.

And Chairperson's gaze falls onto Ayame. She doesn't forget easily, and above that, she keeps track of the students, almost all of them at Taiyo High. Chairperson is sure that she isn't a student, both from what she's heard, remembered seeing, and the fact it's all at the same time. At least recently.

Iincyo makes her approach obvious, acting like any student heading down the hall.. wearing short gym shorts, a white tee with Taiyo's symbol emblazoned on the right corner, and a track jacket hanging off her shoulders. But she stops her path between Ayame and the Trophy case, crossing her arms and turning towards the thief.

"What are you doing back here?"

Ayame might notice, on the wall tot he side, a frame. It has 'Chairperson' for the title. And it has her picture. Right nearby her.

Ayame definitely hadn't counted on someone as attentive and sharp at remembering faces as Iincyo. She's... almost as good at remembering as /herself/, something she wouldn't have expected. Whirling around on her toes as she hears herself addressed, brown eyes come to focus on the girl that looks like she just got out of gym class.

Ayame is quick with identification as well, and though she has to glance over her shoulder at the frame next to the display case just to /make sure/, before she turns back to stare at Iincyo, lips pressed together tightly, folding her hands in front of her. "I'm sorry," Ayame replies, "I don't believe we've met before." Only slightly taller and only a bit older, Ayame still tries to push her presence by taking a step toward Iincyo, arms still folded, as if seeing if the student leader might backup... she needs to see how intimidated she is, after all.

Her frown shifts into a faint smile a moment later, "This isn't how you greet all new students, is it, Chairperson?" her voice falsely sweet. If she had a halo above her head, it would be pinging right now.

"We haven't." Chairperson says towards Ayame as she somewhat stares, before trying to break into a nice nice routine.

Yet, while she is willing to bend some rules and actions, Chairperson has been known to never allow one of the students to be hurt by her own actions. Which would, at this point, be letting this woman try to intimidate her. She does it well enough, causing her to back up a step. But that is it, as she speaks up after she spouts off the new students.

"After your actions to the school before, Taiyo High would not be interested in having you as a student." She doesn't seem to be stuttering, or backing down beyond that step.. and it seems to be because she fell back into a stance. She must have heard things before, perhaps from Roberto, not that she intends to start any fights at this point. "Now that we have met... perhaps I can persuade you to return what things you have taken and leave the School grounds peacefully." When it matters, Chairperson is all business.

And this is a matter beyond simply school groups. This is about theft on Taiyo property!

Hn. Iincyo doesn't seem as easily intimidated as she had hoped, Ayame muses, looking at the other girl with a level gaze, unfolding her hands to rest them at her knuckles at her hips, "Well, well." she slowly starts to smile, "You're pretty smart, I'll grant you that."

She takes a sliding step backward, "But I'm afraid persuasion is out of the question." One hand comes up from her side to wag in front of her, "Were I to leave empty handed, this whole visit will have been a waste of my time, and I'd hate to have that... So inefficient after all," the girl states, her forced smile shifting into a grin as she sliiides back another step. Now that she's spotted, sticking around much longer isn't gonig to be safe at all, since even if Iincyo can't handle her, and she isn't even sure about that (High School kids are TOUGH around here), she could easily get more people to help her out...

"But you're right, I think this school isn't for me. I should probably go enroll somewhere else instead. Whelp! This tour was certainly worth my trouble to check out, even if the campus doesn't really impress me much!" And then her hands are clasped behind her back as Ayame twirls to the side and starts to step down the hallway... does she think she can just WALK AWAY from this encounter?

With the dealing of Taiyo matters, Chairperson is rarely one to let her guard down, especially when someone is interfering with the students again. Not again. Not after the Justice incident. She just won't have it. "I don't forget about potential threats.. especially when they keep showing up at other schools." She does not smile. This hardly brings her pleasure like it seems to bring Ayame.

She's not all that smart. Hurricane Hime out classes her by miles in the intelligence department. It turns out, however, that Ayame.. isn't going to play nice. As the woman goes to leave, the woman grinning in her face and moving father back, step by step, Chairperson looks on Ayame. Chairperson, could indeed, get others. Perhaps even swimming coaches. But they'd have to get here. Ayame might be gone.

"You can leave.." She says, simply, but not quite finishing the sentence yet. "When you return the property of the students.. Otherwise you aren't going anywhere! And you're going to leave the students alone!" A step is taken forwards, her hand whipping out to point towards Ayame, her jacket not even falling to the ground.

"I'll make sure you don't prey on Taiyo's student body, or the others, like the parasite you are! You should have stuck to a better life if it would be inefficient, because that's the only option I'm giving you."

She sure likes to talk. But she's not completely devoid of action... as Chairperson speeds forwards, running towards Ayame before leaping into the air after her, coming down foot towards her back, and as she lands, lashing out with both arms, to strike with the motion of the stance she had been in not a moment ago. "Wind stance!"

... Okay so she learned Saikyo. Attack names? Yelling?

Yeah.

Ayame has her back turned and she's sauntering off as if she hasn't a fear in the world. After all, she doesn't recognize Iincyo from any publicized fight broadcasts, and she's started to pay more attention to those lately now that she participates in them... so in her mind, that makes the girl pretty much a nobody in Ayame's mind.

Iincyo intends to prove otherwise though, running at the long haired thief and taking a daring leap into the air after her! Ayame isn't oblivious to the attempt by any means, and thus it is that she takes another step forward, whirling around on her toes in order to face Iincyo and figure out how best to get out of the way of her trajectory... Only to find the girl is a lot closer than she had anticipated.

The young leader's foot catches Ayame in the chest, sending the featherweight staggering backward, arms flailing at her sides as she grunts, feet squeaking as they finally gain traction on the nice, clean, hallway floor. Hands clenching tightly, Ayame adjusts a shoulder bag over her right shoulder, likely full of a fair amount of swiped loot from the kids she's stolen from thus far. "You're pretty mouthy, aren't you," she growls.

"Maybe you didn't quite realize the kind of trouble you're getting into by messing with me..." Hands slipping down to her belt, the girl pulls out two butterfly knives, flicking the bladed weapons open, sharp pointy ends forward.

Aiming to scare Iincyo into backing off as quickly as possible, the vicious girl stomps forward, "Too bad you didn't get the memo, kiddo - I'm armed and dangerous!" And then comes the slashes, aimed for torso and side, followed by a rising knee toward Iincyo's gut and finishing with a shove against her shoulder to try and shove her away, palming the knives and backstepping as well in hopes of evaluating her handy work thus far.

COMBATSYS: Ayame successfully hits Iincyo with Assault and Battery.

Landing infront of Ayame after the strike, she stays there, in her stance. And yet, as Ayame gets back up, gaining traction and adjusting herself, Chairperson stays mostly silent, looking on. "Hmm... I think you will find that to be increasingly a problem in the future. I have much to say still.. and I'm sure you're going to hear more." Unless someone takes that mouth and binds it or the like! But for the moment, she has to deal with Ayame.

Whom has two knives, points out and open. And yet, she didn't get the memo.. oh she did! She heard of the things the woman had done in the past. They weren't nice.

And neither is what she does next. As Ayame stomps forwards, telling her of how she's so very dangerous.. oh me oh my. The blades as aimed for the torso.. They connect, drawing blood, slicing into her jersey, and a knee causes her to double forwards, gasping for breath, before she's tossing away through the shove, hitting the side of the trophy case and almost curling up.

Ayame would be able to tell ... she's not exactly the top fighter at Taiyo. Infact.. one may even call her .. a weakling. "AH...." She says, gasping, pushing herself to her feet, arms trembling slightly as she winces, forcing herself to her feet. "Y.. You.. could be all the trouble in the world." She says, standing, slightly weak, infront of Ayame. And then focusing. Breathing in. And out. She can feel herself recovering as she suddenly falls into another stance, glaring towards Ayame. "But I won't let up until you leave everything you've taken, and never come back. Taiyo isn't going to let such things happen in it any longer!" Her hair begins to blow, much like her jacket, the two straps blowing the most.. yet .. there's no chi energy sensed, if Ayame could. There's .. nothing.

COMBATSYS: Iincyo gathers her will.

Ayame            0/-------/----===|=======\-------\1           Iincyo

The strikes delivered, Ayame backs up. Maybe she's giving Iincyo a chance to run? It makes life easier for her if she does. Ayame doesn't really like to fight just for the sake of fighting. And walking off with the stuff she's swiped without a fight is much preferrable in her mind. After all, fights have a way of turning south at a moment's notice... why take the chance?

But the student holds her ground, even after having been slashed by those sharp knives, and Ayame sighs a little. "Drat, you're not going to make this easy are you. Well..." The two butterfly knives are flicked closed and Ayame slips them back into the sheaths hidden in her belt.

She isn't oblibvious to the shift around the Taiyo girl, the presence of something. Pumping herself up, perhaps? Building up for something big? Ayame isn't sure what to make of it. Gritting her teeth, the girl clenches her now empty hands, deciding to demonstrate equal ability right back at her. Unlike Iincyo, however, there is a clear build up of chi here, as the young fighting prodigy begins to collect strength up around her. Multi-shaded light and dark blue power spirals up around her, becoming quite apparent.

Ayame's mouth is pressed tightly closed, her jaw clenched as well, as she strains to maintain the effect. It might just all be for show - maybe she wants the less experienced fighter to see the chi she has mastered and back off so that she can run? "It isn't worth... you getting hurt... over..." the girl spits out between gritted teeth as a small amount of perspiration gathers along her hairline.

Ayame            0/-------/=======|=======\-------\1           Iincyo

As Ayame asks her, Chairperson has always been about the simple, easiest answer. "No. Not at all." And then Ayame demonstrates it right back.

A mistake. The one who has just finished has a clear advantage of timing over the last person, and this is clearly one of those situations. As such, Iincyo finishes her stands, fighting spirit, perhaps the drive.. and readiness, to do something big .. but she holds onto it. For what reason?

The build up of chi around Ayame, it flashing about her, doesn't seem to bother the girl.. it is simply a difference of cosmetic assaults. A wet paper bag is still a wet bag. Knives, forks, spoons or sporks aren't going to change what they do.

And yet, Ayame clenches, trying to be 'showy' with the chi? Chairperson shakes her head to Ayame's words. "I used to think that too." She says to Ayame, taking a step towards her. And then another, standing before her. "But ... "

And then she falls into a heavy stance, slamming a back fist towards Ayame's gritted teeth, a speed that she shouldn't have behind it, a heavy kick coming around after the slow, but solid strike. "I'm not hiding anymore! Even if you're stronger than me, able to do such things.. the only way I'm letting you leave is if I can't stop you!" For such a small, unassuming, and weak looking girl.. she at least has spirit.

Doh, it looks like Iincyo isn't going to be frightened off with the flashy chi trick. Nope. Not one bit. Drat. Ayame decides to hold her ground, however, rather than trying to hop out of the way and let all that built up energy simply go to waste. That doesn't mean she's idle, however, very much aware of the other girl coming in to attack her...

And thus it is that her right hand slips into the top of her blouse, pulling out a thin, folded up object. Flicking her wrist reveals it to be a heavy, Japanese war fan, complete with a sharp fan edge to boot. Made of thin but sturdy iron, it's with that strange weapon that Ayame intersects the backfist and follow up kick, grunting as she struggles to weather the impact of the blows, being driven back a little as her feet slip back against the ground.

Okay, Iincyo may not be the most experienced fighter around, but that doesn't mean she can't pack a punch, Ayame decides, feeling the strain of defending herself take its toll on her arms. The blue energy that had collected around her begins to fade away as she ceases to concentrate on it and Ayame exhales, no longer holding her breath.

"You can't stop me," Ayame replies firmly, eyes narrowing. "You can't win here. The only outcome is pain for you, I'm sorry." She fans herself with the weapon for a moment, standing up straighter. "Hiding isn't so bad... it keeps you from getting hurt. You really should consider it a viable option..."

And then she's back on the offense, darting forward, sweeping out with that fan in her hand, aiming to slash at an angle down Iincyo's front from shoulder to hip with the sharp iron edge. "This is your last chance to flee!" she exclaims, spinning back a step after she strikes as if giving Iincyo one last opportunity to turn tail and run.

As Ayame holds back her strikes, Chairperson keeps pushing forwards. But Ayame doesn't hold her breathe any longer.. and that's about when Ayame makes the obvious stated. Only pain.

But that wouldn't deter Chairperson. Not at all. "I might not be able to .. but I'm going to make sure .. you realize what you're dealing with you... and I can't hide. I've already done that..."

And yet, Ayame darts forward, sweeping forth with the fan, slashing down her front shoulder, slashing deep with the sharp iron edge, and she spins back.. but Iincyo doesn't turn tail, even after her arm gains a heavy gash. The bloodflow isn't stopping like the rest of her.

"AHHH!" She cries, holding it, biting her lip a bit. Being a hero, as Hime would have said, hurts. Alot. Falling to her knees, she's up in a second later.. and with a slight burning aura about her.

Burning about her, a faint blue aura begins to surround her. Perhaps the beginning stages of understanding the control of chi. And then she walks towards Ayame.. slowly. Breathing heavily. "How .. would I be setting a good example .. for those who look up to me?"

A punch, clearly radiating with strength, is suddenly thrown, aiming with all her might.. but is that it?

COMBATSYS: Ayame fails to counter Quick Punch from Iincyo with Light Kick.

Ayame            1/-------/=======|======-\-------\0           Iincyo

Iincyogurt slams forwards with that punch.. but quickly changes the course, the force falling from it, a simple strike towards the middle of Ayame's own gut to send her, at least for a bit, off her guard. It ..was a set up!?

She's down for a moment... but right back up a moment later, it appears. Ayame narrows her eyes as Iincyo comes charging toward her, bracing herself with that fan of hers, getting ready strike back at her preemptively. She needs to show her the gulf that exists between them, the difference in ability that is going to be the deciding factor here... or so Ayame thought.

As Iincyo comes in, the boot clad foot of the thief comes slamming up, attempting to catch the other girl in the gut. But the quick thinking student leader's change in course allows her to slip in around the kicking foot and smack Ayame right in the side.

So caught off guard by the unexpected change, she's sent stumbling to the side, catching herself against the wall with her right hand. Flicking the fan in her left hand closed, she slips it back into the sheath hidden inside her shirt and pushes off from the wall to face Iincyo, glaring at her with clenched teeth. "You want to be an example, eh? I'm going to make an example of you, you little brat. That was your last chance..."

Growling, she starts to stalk back toward Iincyo, though this time not so carelessly... the girl has proven to be more resourceful than she had at /all/ expected.

As Ayame falls for her trick, or rather, her assault, the Taiyo chairperson is rather .. happy. She's only happy, because she had expected something far different to happen. Or rather. Something far worse! But it had turned out quite well. Falling backwards, she looks towards Ayame, moving over, and using the spare time to her advantage, falling back into the stance infront of one of the ways of escape.

"If you just put everything down.. you know we don't have to do this.. and don't think I'm afraid.. I've already told you my thoughts on this!" She shoots to Ayame, hair once again beginning to waft in the self made breeze. Maybe she can control chi. Or a small bit of it. But there's not much to be seen, that's for sure.

"I just think your presence here, and reason, shouldn't go unpunished!" It's at least, to her belief.. important. "The schools have suffered enough!"

COMBATSYS: Iincyo gathers her will.

Ayame            1/-------/=======|=======\==-----\1           Iincyo

Again Iincyo refuses to be intimidated, even as Ayame begins to stalk toward her. Stubborn girl, the wouldbe trouble maker muses as she looks her opponent of the moment over, observing how again there seems to be a certain build up of strength around her. Maybe it's just presence, maybe it's all in her head, or maybe she really is pulling in heavily from the world around her, preparing for something big. Ayame isn't sure.

One thing she is sure about is that she's about to step things up, slipping her hand into the pouch on her built and pulling out a half-foot long metal tube. With a press of a button in the center, the small object expands out into a full length staff of six feet, gripped tightly in her left hand.

"You have strong convictions," Ayame states, mouth curling into a faint grin. "For all the good it's going to do you. Well, you wanted to be an example, so it's time I got serious," the girl states. Her approach slows as she gets within the greater striking range afforded by her staff, swinging the weapon out to the side to try and knock Iincyo toward the wall, only to spin and slam the other end forward in an attempt to follow up and pin her even harder against the wall with the other end. "Hah!"

COMBATSYS: Iincyo blocks Ayame's Medium Strike.

Ayame            1/------=/=======|=======\====---\1           Iincyo

As Ayame stalks towards her, Iincyo isn't afraid. No. That's a lie. She is. But she is looked up to. They know she's not the strongest. They know, however, she tries. She keeps nothing hidden.. except a few things, such as that she really isn't able to do everything. She's not incredibly smart. She's not incredibly strong. But she is a hard worker.

Maybe that will pay out in the end.

As Ayame pulls out the metal tube, expanding it out, the staff held... Chairperson breathes out, the staff being swung towards her, aiming to knock her against the wall, to try to spin the other end forwards. Both strikes hit, but not how Ayame wishes.

Her arms take the blunt of the blow, and even if she guards against them, her arms are still sore. She can't stop that..

With Ayame coming in, however, Chairperson is pinned against the wall, still, and despite her attempts to prevent it .. it's no good. This doesn't mean she's out, though. Far from it. "Hah... And you think... I'll just let you do that... Maybe .. you don't understand.." And then she slams her foot towards Ayame, the heel aiming to slam into her gut, a light blue aura about her flaring... but can she strike true?

Ayame            1/-----==/=======|====---\-------\0           Iincyo

Pinning Iincyo to the wall was all part of Ayame's plan from the get go, restricting her movement and locking her right into the position that leaves her in the optimal striking range from the girl's titanium staff. A positioning that proves pivotal for Ayame's survival as the student's foot comes up with a heel aimed for her stomach, intending to leave her stunned and vulnerable for a follow up attack.

But it's in that moment that Ayame spins around in the opposite direction, her movement a veritable blur as she brings her staff back around from the other direction, slipping it in under Iincyo's raised knee and... lifting up to try and topple the determined young fighter right off her feet, turning all of her forward momentum against her.

Hardly the worst attack one could suffer, but sometimes it's the wind taken out of own's sails that does the real harm. "You're better than I gave you credit for," the girl states, tossing her hair over her shoulder with a practiced shake of her head, standing up straight and relaxing just a little as she grips her pole arm in her left hand for a moment. "Well, maybe just more resilliant than I figured..." Her right hand comes to rest at her hip, "And to think I thought today was going to be boring when I got here..."

That .. didn't go so well. Far from it.

Iincyo is clearly a failure to the working class, that is.. the students of Taiyo High. And a failure at breathing, because she wasn't able to. Not with that staff raising her off her feet, and slamming her into the ground.

Hardly the worst one could suffer? It's not like she's a trained fighter, Ayame.

The assault slams into the girl, and as she slams into the ground, her head hits the tiled floor. What's immediately seen, or would be, is blood. A good amount of it, a wound on her head apparent as she lays there for a moment. She's comparable to a few students.

She can't speak at the moment, too winded, too wounded. She doesn't care about how strong she is. She doesn't like anything Ayame is doing. She doesn't even want to respond to her about credit or boredom. She's frustrated. And she has a head wound.

She staggers to her feet, breathing in a bit of gasping breaths.

COMBATSYS: Iincyo gains composure.

Ayame            1/-----==/=======|===----\-------\0           Iincyo

If Ayame had any idea how it was Iincyo had just started to learn how to fight, she might be more impressed. As it stands, she's comparing the poor girl against all of the students out there that seem to think they're all fighters too. Some of them really are terrifying, like a certain quiet girl at Gedo High proved to be, while others... well, Ayame's seen all types, and she thinks of Iincyo much like she thinks of the rest of them. Either they're able to keep up with her or they're not.

Iincyo's ultimate fate in this little battle remains to be seen, but Ayame's toothy grin is an indicator that she's feeling pretty confident now. When the staff comes out she tends to get frightfully effective, falling back on lessons taught by her father back when she was young, rather than her haphazard, random style of flinging every weapon in sight at her opponents.

"Poor kid," she grins, hoisting the staff up to her shoulder, shifting her grip on it. It almost seems like she's about to let up... but with the way she keeps walking toward the girl with a controlled pace, Iincyo isn't so lucky, sadly, for the moment Ayame closes the distance between them, she swings out hard, the staff sliding off her shoulder and following a wide, vicious slam of the weapon in a wide arc in front of her, making it hard to simply get out of the way...

And she follows through with the momentum, not stopping after just one spin, dishing out a second spin immediately after. Iincyo better watch out for her ribs or arms as the girl takes the two wild swings at her!

Ayame            1/-======/=======|=====--\-------\0           Iincyo

In the end. It doesn't matter.

She's not going to be strong enough to fight off Ayame. She knows it. But she's going to try.

Iincyo is never lucky, either. She makes her own luck. As such, she can see through Ayame's strike. She can see through it well enough to know where to go, what will need to be done, and realize.. it's going to hurt. It always hurts. It's a pointless fight. She won't be able to achieve what she wants. But far be it for that to stop her.

As Ayame swings the staff out hard, it's when Iincyo finally rushes out, the staff slamming into a palm, and then her body, the force not enough to stop it.. there's an audible crack as she stops it with her body. She heaves.. but that bright blue aura comes back. her hair and jacket trailing, blood dripping down.

"No... I'm not poor .. I'm .. I'm not helpless.. I once was.... but you..." A palm strike to the warm whipping about the staff should stop it's return, holding it from reaching her. "You're why I have to fight .. people like you..." And whipping her leg out, she hells Ayame's leg, a light blue aura surrounding her attacks. "I didn't have to learn before people like you ... came in and started making it dangerous .. but I couldn't..." She whips an elbow around, towards Ayame's back. "I couldn't do that.. I couldn't run anymore and just hide behind the others. I couldn't just stay letting the others protect the students while I claimed to be the chairperson of them ... it would have been safe...."

And then she finally kicks upwards, before a roundhouse to send Ayame away... and Iincyo falling out of her own high, a buzz she doesn't recover from .. she hasn't yet. "But ...." She staggers, blood loss getting to her.. her chest heaving as she kneels forwards, hands holding her up, blood dripping to the tiled floor. ".. How would they .. see me then?"

She expected to send Iincyo tumbling down the hallway. She expected to leave the girl in a heap on the floor after swinging for the stars. She expected the girl to give up and drop, like she'd wanted her to several times over all ready. But no, that doesn't seem to be the case. Ayame's staff strikes just as she intends, but the second swing never comes as she finds herself hitting not an easily launched Taiyo student but someone who refuses to be dismissed so easily.

Ayame is so staggered by the unexpected outcome that when Iincyo's strike comes in and catches her leg, she just about slips up and drops to the floor, catching herself just in time only because her staff plants against the tiles. But that just means she's still upright when a chi laced elbow cracks her in the back, causing her to begin to fall a second time, "A-ah!"

When the final kick comes, Ayame is launched up and backward, upper back hitting the ground first, the girl tumbling a couple of times before coming to a stop a few yards away. Unfortunately for Iincyo, that isn't the last the mean girl can take, and Ayame is back up on her feet, albeit a bit more cautiously, a moment later, glaring daggers back at the Taiyo student. "I see," she growls.

The staff in her hand collapses and the girl slips it back into her pouch as she begins to walk toward Iincyo, "So you're saying that you took up fighting to deal with threats like me? You want to be a protector as well as an example? You must think you're really something special," she hisses, her hand coming up to reach behind her head, tugging at the black ribbon tied into a bow there, pulling it out and into her hands.

"People like you... deluded... thinking they can make a difference... trying to give others something to look up to... so full of yourself... feh!" Her words come slowly. She was playful earlier on, but now she seems angry on a level that is pretty rare for her. Idealists. She can't stand them. "Don't you know how the world works? The only way you get to enforce your way on people is with power, and that's something you don't have!"

And then she lunges forward, trying to take advantage of the poor exhausted girl's state to grab hold of one of her arms and twist it in behind Iincyo's back. If she gets a hold she starts to wrap the ribbon around her wrist while reaching for her other arm to pull it behind her back as well and finish with a knot that leaves poor Iincyo's hands tied up behind her back before pushing her forward, deliberately trying to leave the Taiyo chairperson face down on the school's hall. "You're years away from being able to make a difference, little girl," Ayame snorts before she'll turn and start to walk away, assuming she catches Iincyo in the first place. Like Kentou considered some time ago when he met the savage girl: She really should have been raised better... But too late for that, eh?

The Taiyo student can't fight back. She can't. There's just something about fighting she's not used to yet. The realistic actions, troubles, violence that she hasn't learned yet to deal with. She's still inexperienced.

In a way, Ayame breaks more than just Iincyo's skin, and ability to fight, with her assaults.

As Ayame walks closer, speaking, Iincyo's gaze is not on the girl. It's on the tiles. Her vision is more or less fading in and out. She's tired. She's wounded. She's bleeding, and she did her very best.

And yet, the words come. She can't find the strength to speak up. She has to listen, kneeling, hands trembling, the blood dripping forming a pool. In the School she aims to protect. And that's when she feels her arm being pulled behind her back. She thrashes, with the rest of her strength, in an attempt to repel the intruder from even touching her, but only makes the results that much worse. As she struggles, the arm's twisted harder, but she still fights, and she can feel the pain. But then, the ribbon's tied all over, a knot that leaves her hands behind her back.. and then she's pushed forwards, face hitting the tile where the blood had begun to pool. It didn't help what wounds she had. And as her consciousness flits in and out, she hears those words before hand.. and mumbles something, darkness closing in on her.

"I .. I already h... have....... y.. you just.. c...can't ....s...ee it." Before she's finally down and out, her breathe heavy, her condition far from good. It'll take a few days to recover from this at least. It .. hurts.

That's her final though, as she goes down.

COMBATSYS: Iincyo has left the fight here.

Ayame pauses mid-step, looking over her shoulder toward Iincyo as she insists she's made a difference. "Che," the hellion grunts, shaking her head, still looking angry, her mouth curled into a scowl. Why did that student get to her so much, she starts to ask herself as she stomps off. She didn't manage to beat her up too bad, she didn't keep her from taking what she wanted... yet all the same she still feels irritated about the outcome.

"Idealists... heads in the cloud..." she mutters, making her way off the campus, trying to put the Chairperson's words out of her mind. Who is she to say those things? She doesn't have the power to change anything at all, does she? Yet for all her efforts, it seemed that while she was able to best Iincyo's physical skill, she still didn't crush her spirits at all. Just like Mizuki, who even when faced with possible death, didn't shirk. Or Frei, who invited Ayame to kill him if it would make her feel better...

What is with these kinds of people? They don't seem at all grounded in reality. How do they not see how cruel the world really is? She throws every bit of hostility their way, yet their spirit fights on anyway. Unreal.

Rubbing her side where one of Iincyo's punches had managed to leave her a little bruise, Ayame slinks off to fume. Alone, like she believes she prefers. That's what she keeps telling herself anyway.
