Wing - Legend Killer!!

Description: Wherein Wing defeats Kurow. Yeah. Pretty much. (Winner: The World)

"He he he..."
There is a dangerous glimmer in her eye.
"He he he ha ha ha ha HA HA HA!"
A glimmer like the glimmer of hundred yen coins, the coins now strewn about all over Wing's bed. The diminutive Chinese girl cackles merrily to herself as she shuts the door to her private dormitory behind her, gazing with pride upon the prizes she has managed to reap right under the nose of the authorities. Okay, so, sometimes people put up fights, and sometimes they're decent, like that crazy ho Mizuki. But mainly they're not, enough so that little Wing can intimidate enough people to make a living, and sit around looking cute and innocent in the meantime. At least, she likes to think so. Really, she has a hard time wiping that leer off her face and that hip-hop inspired perpetual rage out of her mannerisms.
Still, she wears the Justice High uniform well enough, even if it is loose around her rail-thin little frame. She feels it itch at her, though, as it always does when she wears it too long. Soon enough the bigwigs around here will start to notice her, she knows. And soon enough, of course, so will the big guys outside. It's inevitable, after she defeated that awesome gangster woman. They won't all spurn her; they'll see her for the genius talent she is.
It's inevitable.
But Wing is more patient then she seems, and she'll take her pickings where she can get them. This is enough for lunch for a week, and as far as she knows, no one's spotted her. Certainly no one bothers her here in her dorm, not after the first week anyway. So she's safe, safe enough to, without even shuttering the windows that looks out upon the cultivated Justice High gardens from her second floor room, dump the coins and bills into her top drawer and hurriedly begin pulling off her uniform, undoing her little neckerchief and tossing it over to the chair by her desk, kicking off her shoes and awkwardly hopping around on one foot for a while in an effort to take off her long socks.
The sooner she can get into her Sean John, the better.

This is just too good to pass up. A budding thief and intimidation artist right here under Kirishima's nose, robbing everyone blind and thinking she's going virtually unnoticed? Truly, this is -- if nothing else -- a /hilarious/ situation, and potentially one that Kurow can use to his advantage. Perhaps he thinks he has a protege in the young Chinese girl; more realistically, probably just a potentially exceptional tool. Whatever the case, he's watched a couple of the girl's various ... /escapades/ and decided to check up on her.

Perhaps Kirishima isn't the sort of bigwig that Wing is looking to impress, but hey -- everyone's gotta start somewhere, right?

Making his way to the young lady's room and trying to draw as little suspicion as possible, Kurow spends a few seconds figuring out how to get her attention. Surprise her? Look like another dumb mark and then trump her before she gets wise to it? ... no, the direct approach is actually likely to be the best one here. Sometimes the best way to avoid drawing attention is to do things the way normal people do them, after all.

Unfortunately for Wing, this does mean that there's an extremely loud, firm knock on her door while she hops around pulling off her uniform. Oh no, Wing! Is it the cops?! Is it the /morals committee/, with its horrible ripoffs of Heidern moves and super lightning rays?!

"What the hell!?"
More like the please-kick-my-ass committee, am I right?
Y...yeah. Yeah.
"Son of a..."
Well, whoever it is that DARES to disturb the mighty Queen of the Streets is going to get just that, so it might as well be. Acquiring a look of quasi-righteous indignation, Wing Xiaoping, skirt askew and blouse mostly unbuttoned, glares toward the door with a look that by any rights should melt it down. Maybe she should just Dragonforce the damn thing into whoever's face is behind it. No, no; be smart, Wing. Brute force doesn't impress everybody. Shihong demonstrated that to her. She'll try a slightly different tactic.
Walking forward smartly, she opens the door.
"WHAT THE HELL DO YOU-- ehh?"
The short girl looks up at her caller and pauses for a long moment before, beginning to smirk ever so slightly, she reaches up to idly tap her chin with her fingertip.
"I know you," she says, sounding insufferably self-satisfied. "You're that Kirishima guy. Lots of people are pretty scared of you. But then, they're scared of me too, aren't they? So I'm not lots of people." She seems to ponder for a moment. "Well, I won't date you. I only like black guys anyway. Che--!" And she squares up to spit on the ground, realizes belatedly that it's her own carpet, pauses, glances around, considers swallowing but decides she can't back down, casually turns around and walks back to the window, and spits out of it, before turning and walking back to Kurow and her door.
From outside the window, 'Ow, what the-- ewww, gross!!'
"And I'm not giving you a cut of my profits, either."
And then, the light dawns.
"Unless-- you've come to pay homage!"
Wing smiles wide, and it would almost be pretty if it weren't for the vaguely disconcerting power-hungry flames that flicker deep within her eyes.
"To the Queen of the Streets!!"
She sweeps her arms wide, the disheveled girl now completely carried away.
"Kneel before me, Kirishima!"

Kurow has no sense of humor. Kurow is a ninja death-assassin and has been since he was five. At ten years old he was probably more deadly than 99% of humans, kind of like Bao but without a retarded hat. Kurow is not going to bust out laughing at Wing's posturing and spitting and immediate assumption that he's here to either ask for a date or pay homage.

OK, that last thing? Totally not true. It's rare that Kurow gets a chance to laugh, laugh long and in earnest, at anyone -- cruel, mocking laughter is an exception, that's just something you get to engage in when you're a stupendous badass. Real, genuine laughter, on the other hand -- opportunities for that don't come cheap, but the spitting young lady in front of him definitely is giving him one right now.

After he eventually composes himself, Kurow finally responds to Wing in the most direct, straightforward manner he can. "First of all, I have a girlfriend," Kirishima says, though all truths told he feels no particular attachment to Sada. "Second, your ill-gotten gains are not particularly... my interest." He starts to pace in front of the disheveled-looking girl, and shakes his head. "And frankly, I find kneeling in front of you about as likely as kneeling in front of, oh..." He pauses, looking around; he then gestures to a particularly dorky looking freshman a little ways down the hall. "Her." The youth waits for her to respond before continuing, seeing how she takes a near-complete dismissal.

:|
That about sums it up. Wing's expression remains like this for some time. Her arms dropping to her sides, the Chinese girl looks up at the ninja death-assassin with apparent calm as she is utterly mocked by clear laughter and decisively scorned in list fashion. Perhaps Wing is, at least in some situations, good at hiding her feelings.
In fact, really, her mind is a blank. She can't figure out for the life of her why people end up reacting like this. Sometimes it ends up with them terrified of her, but it rarely results in legitimate respect. Why doesn't a straightforward attitude work? Look, he's taking it with her, and he seems cool and confident doing it. She knows /she/ must, therefore, also seem cool and confident.
It's some kind of trick.
It's some kind of ruse.
Slowly, the roiling cauldron of fury that eternally bubbles within Wing's seething soul begins to burn through the confusion, and provide a simple solution.
"I see."
Quietly, the girl reaches up to brush aside a stray lock of dark hair.
"Then you must be here for reason four."
And she lunges.
For her, it's a blur. For him, who knows how quick? But her forehead rockets up toward his nose, suffused in the glow of trailing afterimages, as with a sudden wild surge of violent intent Wing aims to finish this quickly and smash a vicious headbutt into the offending boy's skull.
"AN ASSKICKING!"
Let's see how well he makes lists with a broken nose.

[OOC] Wing: QUEEN OF THE STREETS says, "Biaaaaaaaatch."

Wing's offense is pugnacious, and she's just impetuous. She definitely surprises even Kurow -- though it's more on merit of sheer bloody-minded stupidity than anything else. Surely she knows what he's done, who he's gone up against -- for her to try something like that is just unheard of. She gets the drop on him almost instantly entirely because, well, she's crazy... and the headbutt definitely sends Kurow staggering back.

"Well, you're certainly charming. I was here to make a business proposal, but now I see that you're simply too pigheaded to deal with," he says, trying to appeal to her reasonable side by being completely contrary -- a little risky, but then, conventional tactics are actually /more/ unlikely to work on Wing, Queen of the Streets!!.

Meeting violence with violence may not be some people's way, but it certainly is Kurow's -- this girl clearly respects strength on at least some level, and if he is found wanting, he probably won't have her attention for even a second. ... alternately, he may just want to beat a little sense into the girl, but hey, who's counting? Reaching forward, Kirishima grabs at Wing's throat with those claws, and if he can get a good, solid hold on the slippery little lady, will proceed to swing her into her own door frame headfirst at velocities that human heads simply shouldn't travel, no matter /what/ the destination is. It's very much lacking in technique -- it definitely seems to lean more toward 'pure brutality' than anything else.

Ha ha that'll teach him to oh crap what
So, that felt pretty good, headbutting Kirishima right in the goddamn nose, and Wing was feeling pretty confident after that, grinning to herself with her mean little grin. But it really didn't matter how confident or cautious she was, because the boy is fast as greased lightning.
Wing's eyes widen with shock as clawed hands wrapped around her slender throat, and she squeals -- yes, squeals, an instinctive reaction she has tried oh so hard to overcome -- as her forehead is plowed directly into the frame, which splinters pitiably under the mightly onslaught that is her skull at high velocity. She staggers back cross-eyed and keels over, splaying out on the ground in an unkempt heap-- yet startlingly, she recovers rather quickly. Her first act is to quickly reach down and smooth out her skirt, to make sure nothing untoward has occurred while she's been falling all over the place.
Her second act is to scream in fury.
"You bastard!!"
Seemingly beyond reason, or at least the conception of reason that people other than Wing seem to have, the kung fu gangsta stumbles to her feet, fists trembling.
"I /live/ to teach trash like you--"
Her blouse ripples from a breeze that must emanate from the open window.
"--to mind their /own/ business!!"
That breeze is getting stronger.
A lot stronger, in fact, and it seems to be focusing around her trembling right fist, which as she draws back seems to draw the air around it back with it, gathering up dust and her socks and a few stray coins before she lashes out with a fierce punch-- a few meters too far away from Kurow to hit him.
"HaaaaAAAIIIII!"
The resulting gale-force blast, however, may do something, the least of which would be to blow apart the rest of her door frame, and maybe hit that poor freshman girl down the hall with a stray sock.

Wing             1/---====/=======|====---\-------\0            Kurow

Kurow brings his hands up to block something that, by all appearances, is a sloppy, stupid punch. But man, is it ever something completely different from a sloppy, stupid punch. The blast of air and coinage catches him square in the chest, sending him staggering back -- for such a little thing, she has downright /punishing/ attacks! Awful slow, yes, but also very punishing -- something that most of Kurow's associates lack.

"Trash like me?" he says, downright dumbfounded -- or at least sounding it -- from Wing's words. "Wing Xiaoping, allow me to explain something to you." Backing away from the girl, Kurow keeps an eye on her, trying to coax her out into the long hallway while at the same time studying her for weaknesses, particularly her lower half. (Let it never be said that Kurow's eyes are at all drawn 'there' when he's got more pressing concerns, at least! Maybe he's just a legs man.)

"I," he continues, putting on that smug persona that a sizeable chunk of fighting fans are growing to love (or at least love to hate), "am Kurow Kirishima, lead of my class at Justice High and -- if I may say so -- one of the most frequent competitors in Saturday Night Fight's main event. You are a thug who roughs up other girls for lunch money."

Making the universal 'come on!' gesture with two fingers, he says, "You've gotten lucky twice. You won't get lucky again -- you can listen now, or you can listen /later/ because you can't move." Maybe she'll back down from someone even cockier and even less charitable with his words than she is?!

Nah, but who knows, maybe it'll win a couple points.

COMBATSYS: Kurow focuses on his next action.

Wing             1/---====/=======|====---\-------\0            Kurow

Wing licks blood from her lower lip, and eyes him back.
"Impressive," she says idly, studying him too, studying how he studies her. So he has a girlfriend, huh? Hm. Well, she certainly hasn't done anything to deflate his ego. Man, she /hates/ people with big egos. "I don't watch that crap. I'm usually too busy kicking ass in /real/ life, away from cameras and adoring pansies. But I understand. People without talent get off on that kind of thing."
Damn that throw hurt. If he had employed those claws he would have sliced her head right off. Wing has her intellectual shortcomings, but she's not stupid. Still, however, she's not sure how she's supposed to deal with this situation, whatever he's actually looking for from her.
All she can do is be herself.
Casually she reaches down to straighten her skirt, actually lifting it up an inch while Kurow's gaze is focused on her lower half. "Well," she finally responds to his last comment. "You know what they say..."
And she winks, smiling charmingly.
"Third time's the charm."
And then she's there and she's not, a blurred afterimage of a winking girl left behind as the real Wing plunges forward with a devastating uppercut intended for Kurow's midsection...

...and punches him a hundred times.
Let's count them, shall we?
After the initial uppercut, Wing Xiaoping, consumed now entirely with bloodlust, practically vibrating with the chi that she cannot express beyond her own physical form, becomes a blur. A series of wild punches follow that seem to trap Kurow in a kind of contained field of perpetual motion, juggled by the incessant volley of blows. Only in this technique does her violent nature combine with something approaching synthesis with the grace of her kung fu training, which she has had such little opportunity to display thus far, and only that unconscious bringing together of the two polar opposite facets of her hybrid fighting style gives her the momentum to chain together such a rapid series of attacks.
She punches him ninety-seven times, not counting the uppetcut.
Then she leaps over his head-- and there is only the briefest glimpse of respite before the winking afterimage that had waited so patiently for so long comes crashing forward and punches him in the face--
Just as Wing, now behind him, kicks him in the back of the head.
Both forces collide in the same instant, but the afterimage dissipates first, and Kurow will be sent hurtling into Wing's room, possibly making quite a dent in the wall.

[OOC] Doc Tran says, "Wing, you're too rad, I just wanna beat you to death right here and now."

[OOC] Wing: QUEEN OF THE STREETS says, "Thanks Tran, that means a lot to me."

There is a downright /torrent/ of punches, in the exact instant that Kurow realizes he is really, atrociously off his game tonight. He never seems to know quite when to move to block, and no matter where he goes, Wing abruptly isn't there -- right up until that last moment where he takes those two stiff strikes on opposite sides of the head. He crumples for an instant upon hitting the wall of Wing's room, and does not stir for a few seconds; eventually, though, he gets up -- if only halfway.

Only halfway. That's quite a strong statement, however wordless it is, for Kurow to make -- after all, it insinuates that Wing is getting the better of him. (And for the moment, she is -- there's no denying that. Whatever else she might lack in, she has an extremely punishing offense, and Kurow can't get out of the way to save his life.) ... though there might be more to Kurow's hunched posture than that. Maybe, just maybe, there's a tactical aspect -- something that Wing might not account for.

A second later, wordlessly, it becomes apparent just why Kurow stuck so low. Locking on to a perceived weak point in the Chinese girl's lower guard, Kurow launches himself forward as hard as he can, trying to spear her right through the leg with his shoulder and bowl her over behind him --?!

COMBATSYS: Wing endures Kurow's Kirishima Kyoujuu Reppa!!

[                           \\\  < >  ////////////                  ]
Wing             1/--=====/=======|===----\-------\0            Kurow

The youth does indeed plow into Wing's legs and bowl her over behind him -- that much, at least, is a good sign. The youth runs out into the hallway, and Wing may get the first real, drastic taste of what she's dealing with as she's dragged along by wave after wave of biting chi claws, each of which feeds her neatly into the next one, keeping her behind Kirishima for what seems like an eternity of shredding. This must be what it feels like to be on an episode of Will It Blend?.

Eventually, it stops, which must seem like a truly incredible reprieve... though unfortunately, things don't immediately pick up even after /that/. The last claw launches Wing into the air, causing her to make hard, sickening impact on the ceiling just outside her room -- and even then, Kirishima jumps up after her, aiming two quick, alternating kicks with both legs at her head before finally putting her back down on the ground with a hard axe kick to the stomach. Perhaps not /quite/ so flashy as Wing's own technique, but...

It's a world of pain.
Wing's uniform is shreds around her, previously hidden flashes of white obscured somewhat by the crimson that laces the rest of her form after the devastating claw strikes. The subsequent kicks plow the girl first up and then back down to the ground--
"No..."
--where she lands in a crouch.
"I..."
Stray bangs partially covering her bloodied face, Wing looks up at her ruthless opponent as he sails down after his assault, just for this moment still in the air.
"...won't..."
And with a burst of stamina that seems entirely improbable, even as her body should be failing her, completely blind to the possible consequences Wing leaps upward, thinking only of victory.
"...LOSE!"
And she aims a savage uppercut at Kurow's midsection, just as he descends.
She might miss. She might get worse. But even if she makes contact with an unsuspecting foe, even if the world is treated to another hundred blows -- and this time in midair -- the real test will come when Wing, whatever occurs, falls once again to ground, bare feet touching down on soft carpet for the briefest of moments before she sways, stumbles, and...

...refuses to fall.
"BEOTCH!"
That's right, baby.

Yet again, the blows rain down, and yet again, Wing catches Kurow. The blows rain down hard, and Kurow just can't keep up -- Wing's impetuous offense shells him down, and he makes a sickening impact with the ground when she finishes him off with that midair combo. The youth doesn't even get up halfway this time, oh no -- he's down, that much is apparent. But perhaps there's that same fighting spirit in him, that same undeniable desire not to lose that Wing has, that will keep him up /just/ long enough to drag her down with him.

Gritting his teeth, he gets up to his feet with a growl, squarely placing his eyes on Wing one last time. That boy has some evil intentions right now, and none of them bode particularly well for Wing. The youth lets out a veritable /hiss/ as he rushes at Wing yet again.

Leaping forward with what little might he has left, Kurow growls, "That makes..." under his breath, abruptly moving into position for one of his signature techniques. A black ball surrounds Kirishima's entire body as he levitates forward, seeking to pull Wing into the ball and then shred her almost entirely with claws of chi -- not unlike the technique that he used a second ago, really, though perhaps much less dangerous.

Staggering forward, drawn by the orb of chi that Kurow summons as his last ditch effort. For a moment, it even seems that Wing will escape, that she can get away from his final determined strike. Yet in the last instant she is drawn in, and the final blow sends her reeling back, garments now most certainly utterly ruined.
"...urrghh..."
Clutching at herself far more in agony than embarrassment, Wing Xiaoping, Queen of the Streets, looks decidedly ill. Swaying weakly, vision dimming, her little fists tremble as glares at where she thinks Kurow is.
"You see... my power?"
She can just barely get the words out.

[OOC] Slam Fan Kurow...

"...THE STREETS!"
Taking a deep breath, Wing thrusts her fist into the air.
"YES!!"
What... what the hell, man.
What the hell.

Kurow, on the other hand, does not get that adrenaline surge. When he finally collapses, it's /over/ -- the youth drops out of that final, nasty strike, and slumps straight to the ground. There's no real ceremony to it -- he definitely looks like he's just straight-up out, at least for a minute or two. Knowing a fighter's constitution, it won't be long before he's standing again, but he's definitely been bested.

As such, he cannot come up with an adequately witty reply.

[OOC] Slam Fan Kurow says, "Man, just... man."

Standing there in the middle of the girls' dormitory, surrounded by shattered tile and plaster, in her underwear and covered in blood, stared at by every gawking female in the vicinity, Wing Xiaoping, once she lowers her fist, is left something at a loss.
What she really needs is a shower.
But... she can't just leave like this.
So she stands there for a few moments, somehow tenaciously clinging to consciousness, looking down at the fallen boy-- and then finally steps forward to kneel down next to him. She is silent, and the girls watching from a safe distance all lean forward as one, to see what the crazy little fighter will do next. She leans in, bringing her face perilously close to Kurow's own, looking thoughtfully down at his face.
Then, satisfied he is defeated, she begins rifling through his pockets.
Score!
But the real winner here is, of course, not Wing Xiaoping herself. The real winner is the world. For while Wing will now have enough money to buy lunch for a month--
We will have a tale to tell for all eternity.

COMBATSYS: Wing has ended the fight here.
