Description: Mignon kicks kicked with SOCCERBALLS. IN THE FACE. A must-read! (Winner: Roberto)
The people at the Neo League offices knew that Roberto was starting to do a bit more streetfighting but he hasn't been active enough. They decided to change that. Right after his soccer practice, the Golden Goalie received a phone call saying that he had a Neo League match in Chinatown. This caused a wild scramble for baby sitters since he knew that his parents would come home late and he needed someone to watch his brothers while he was fighting.
After a lack of success, he ended up going into a mad dash to his home in Gorin Heights, picking his brothers up and taking a cab to Chinatown. First his little brothers step out of the cab then Roberto and he goes to the trunk to pull out a mesh bag filled with soccer balls.
Roberto slips past the metal barrier, dumps his soccer balls into the make-shift ring and tosses the bag aside which would soon become a collector's item for a lucky fan after the fight. As for Roberto, he's adjusting his red goalie gloves as he waits for his opponent to show up. He suddenly wishes he got a chance to do some research on his opponent. Such is the way of more impromptu matches.
Skipping into the area, Roberto, is YOUR DOOM.
Or well, may be, because Mignon is currently happily making her way to the area, and after losing every match so far, Mignon's certain that it wouldn't be much of a problem! She would have to win one after all, because Mignon is persistent, and you can't spell I without persiste-... or was it persistent without I. Well, you couldn't spell Persisten with Mignon though.
Even if you could spell Enigmon. On for Mignon! Enigmon.
But the rather showy looking girl is skipping happily towards Roberto and the ring. CLEARLY she is going to watch, because little girls and pink hair and outfits like that lend to being announcers more than other things and putting her hands on the ring and then flipping inside, Mignon lands. "TAA-DAAAH! Mignon is here and ready for action, Mr ball man! .. That's alot of balls anyways, Mignon wonders what they'll be used for!" Smiling, she nods her head a few times.
"Mhmm. Mignon's not sure at all! But Hiiiiiiiiiiiiiii!"
Roberto looks down at his Taiyo soccer uniform which he hadn't bothered to change out of let alone the dirt encrusted soccer cleats. It's all the clues one would need to realize what he intends to use those soccer balls for.
Roberto on the other hand doesn't quite know what to make of Mignon but he just settles on a standard introduction as he tips his sky blue visor at the girl. "Roberto Miura... Uh... Nice to meet ya."
He rolls one of those many soccer balls up on his feet, juggles it and then all of a sudden sends it flying. Looks like Mignon's going to get a practical answer of that question instead of a verbal one.

Mignon was smiling and as Robero didn't know even what to make of her, well, mignon's all happy. "Hiiiiii! Mignon's happy to meet you, Roberto, and she's going to look forwards to a fight and stuff here!" Smiling, she bounces a few times on her feet, eyes kind of closed as she spins around once.
And leaping into the air, Mignon opens her eyes and sees a ball coming at her "W-... WHAT!? Mignon wasn't readiiiiiiiieeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!" THUD. The ball smashes into her face pretty heavily, and collapsing to the ground, Mignon twitches.
"O-Ow....." Getting up, her face has the mark of a soccer ball in it, and she's dizzy. But forcing herself up, Mignon then easily removes the marks with her face turning red from anger! "MIGNON WASN'T READY! What's the matter with you!?"
And with NO LOGIC WHATSOEVER, she runs towards Roberto to try to kick him. HARD.

Well she's not happy all the time. Roberto just proved that right now. When she barrels at him with rage, Roberto waits and watches with poise as she comes in and then when that kick comes, Roberto waits until the last possible moment before he side steps the kick performing a spin move as he steps atop of a soccer ball and then uses the momentum of the spin move to bring himself to Mignon's flank.
He knows she's probably somewhat vulnerable to next attack he could make but he doesn't. Instead, he begins juggling the ball again tapping the ball into the air, back and forth between his thighs before sending it up into the air as he leans forward to catch the soccer ball on the back of his neck. It's at this point Roberto speaks up again, "Sorry about that. I can give you sometime to get ready now if you'd like." At this point he's still sizing her up watching and waiting for the next opportunity.

And as Roberto steps out of the side of Mignon's kick, Mignon stomps.. well it WAS really hard to get close to him, but she's still a bit gruffy about how Roberto just went up and kicked a ball into her face!
Oh, she'll get over it, the big crybaby she is sometimes.
"Mignon's sorryyyyy she acted so mean .. but Mignon's ready now! She just doesn't like it when balls are kicked really fast into her face without her being ready! It hurts alot that way!" And boy, did it sure hurt there!
And so as Roberto lets her time to get ready, Mignon spins around. "Okay then .. Mignon's .. going to start .. NOWWWW~!"
"FIRE!" She calls out, launching a burning ball towards Roberto .. rather quickly! FWOOSH! It's going to explode after crashing into him if he's not ready!

Roberto watches carefullly as the ball of fire comes careening in towards him. He starts out full of poise and then that burning vigor that students of Taiyo comes to the fore. The soccer ball he had resting on the back of his neck is rolled down to the back of his head and then his flipped upwards into the air.
He knows that he doesn't quite have the time to let it drop to his foot to drive into the soccer ball but he does have enough time to drive it with his head. As the ball begins to drop he weaves back and throws his whole body into his header driving it through the fireball and on its way at Mignon. "Nice try!"

And as the fireball rushes straight Roberto, Mignon's smiling again. She's ready this time. She's ready this time! And that soccer ball is driven forth, by his head, through the fireball, and slamming it STRAIGHT towards Mignon. Mignon, meanwhile, collapses.
Because she thought she did it!
AND THEN WHAM. "O-Ow ..." Into her face. Again. THUD. Mignon goes down like a sack of bricks once more, ball sticking to her face until she hit the ground once and twitches a bit. "Mignon sees why you have all these balls here and they huuuuuuurt."
Rubbing her face, she shakes herself off. "But Mignon won't give up!" And then extending a hand, Mignon launches a blast of WIND straight towards Roberto! "DIVINE WIND SPIRIT!" It's a tornado .. but it's REALLY SLOW right now.
Perhaps she can't see straight after the FACEBALL x2!?

The star soccer player begins charging at the Tornado in what looks to be a nigh suicidal run. As the tornado comes towards the soccer player, it begins picking up soccer balls and flinging them around the fighting area. One of those soccer balls gets thrown at him. He chest traps the soccer ball the flies at him before darting around it and then rushing the origin of the of the Whirlwind.
The soccer player stares Mignon right in the eye before hopping over the ball, knee first at the witch. "It would be a disappointment to those watching if you did."
If allowed to safely land he'll get his foot back onto that soccer ball and then dribble away from her a bit.

As the Star Soccer player rushes around the whirlwind, darting this way and that, before leaping over, a knee towards Mignon .. Mignon tries to catch that knee. "Lightning boooolt!" And then her hands charge with electricity as she reaches for the leg and th-oh god.
THUD. The solid impact of the knee into Mignon is pretty sickening almost, because she's turned over and goes rolling from the strike, thudding against the ground and eventually, comes to a stop.
By hitting the metal railing. It hurts alright, but Mignon won't give up! .. ow.. Even if it hurts! .. Ow. And forcing herself to her feet once more, the witch .. is bouncing much less. "Mignon's not sure if she's doing something wrong though! Mignon hasn't been doing too well in these thingys! But maybe Mignon just woke up on the wrong side of the bed!"
Smiling, Mignon .. looks pretty beat up.
But she IS up.
Roberto's beginning to raise his eyebrow at this fight. He's not certain if it's luck or skill carrying him through this fight. He's reminded of his fight with Niesje in the World Warrior tournament.
He begins to slow down watching Mignon again wondering if the pace he's setting is too fast for her. Even still he still has to finish the fight. "Perhaps you need to figure out what you're doing wrong and change it." A little advice. Of course she might end up needing to take it with a grain of salt considering it's coming from someone who fights using soccer.

As as Roberto slows down, Mignon brushing herself off, Mignon blinks at Roberto. "Heey... don't worry about Mignon. Mignon's able to take care of herself, she's a tough cookie!" She nods to herself, smiling. "Anyways, Mignon's not done yet! Nope!" She smiles out alright, and twirls once, pink hair bobbing. "Because remember, Mignon's a WITCH!" She smiles as she says this, as if it was important, before she extends a hand. "And Mignon .. is going to do this with all her might!" Pointing towards Roberto..
Her hand heads upwards, a rather LARGE ball of chi forming at her fingers tips before growing larger ... it looks like a meteor. "Here we go!" Maybe Roberto's played dodge ball? "LAUNCH!"
The force sends Mignon rolling backwards into the metal sidings as well.. but there's a giant meteor crashing towards Roberto! It might be bad!

Roberto hasn't played dodge ball but he is a goal keeper. So when the ball of chi forms Roberto bounce around like a goalie waiting for a penalty shot. Waiting as it gets bigger and bigger and then all of a sudden, it's released and Mignon is sent rolling backwards.
It's hard for Roberto to keep a straight face as his hands begin to glow. Eventually the smirk gives way to snickering, the snickering to laughter, and then laughter to being bowled over by the ball of energy sending him rolling in the opposite direction.
After a few moments Roberto rises to his feet slowly as his now aching body protests his movement. Well... Roberto now knows to take her more seriously, sorta...
"Ow .. ow ow ow..." Mignon cries out, brushing herself off. And getting to her feet, hopping up, Mignon looks on as Roberto's LAUGHING. Before the meteor crashes into him, even IF the glowing hands were there to stop the ball, Mignon DID crash backwards in some hilarious manner not befitting of a person of her nature.
Roberto, DOES get up though, and Mignon's smiling. "Yay! Mignon's not doing so bad anymore!" And then she runs towards Roberto, skipping, although nearly tripping on one of the balls!
And then tripping on the other.
Mignon flails and then SLAMS TOWARDS ROBERTO.
FACE FIRST.

The soccer player watches as the witch skips towards him and he'd like to think of himself as ready for anything but none of the fights prepare him for what comes next. He watches as she avoids one and stumbles over the other. He knows he should move. Knows he's capable of moving but he's so stunned that the flail and fall catches him in the face as head meets head and the visor gets knocked off of his head.
When Roberto gets up he shakes his head, picks up his visor and begins to rush towards Mignon slamming a pair of fists into her stomach a somewhat grim look on his face. He wasn't too happy about losing his visor temporary or not.

As Mignon crashes into Roberto, Mignon stays up! Hurray! "Thanks mister! You helped Mignon stay up! .. Uh.. Mister, are you okay? Mignon doesn't think you're looking too good.. do you want some help? Mignon's a really good helper!" And it seems that Mignon's greeted with a grim look and a Roberto PAAAAAAAAAAUNCH into her stomach, sending her squeeaking and crashing into the ground. "AIEeeeeeeeeeeeeee-" thud goes the Mignon!
Forcing herself up, weakly, Mignon shakes herself off. "Ooowww... Mignon's .. not feeeling .. so good ... " But she's not done because she's never done! Never done at all! Until the very end!
And that's when she leaps up... towards Roberto! And then lands nearby him. AND THEN... attempts to grab him by his legs and SWING him once before letting go! .. Hey. It's a valid tactic!

Roberto instinctually wants to get away from the grab for his legs. He's a soccer player. It's only logical that he'd have an aversion to that. However that doesn't stop Mignon from getting a hold of his ankles. He's not quite fast enough to get away and so he's swung around like a rag doll before being flung away like a rag doll a loud grunt made as soon as his back makes impact with the street.
He gets back up to his feet, tilts his head to one side and then the other making a loud cracking noise and then he moves to one of his soccer balls. He muses to Mignon as he rolls the soccer ball beneath his feet, "Want to see something cool that I can do with my soccer balls?"

As Roberto mentions that he has something cool that he can do with his soccer balls, Mignon, of course, is VERY interested. "Mhmm! Mignon wants to see! Mignon wants to seeeeeee." Mignon cries out, hopping up and down excitedly and not even preparing for what's to come! She's just happily jumping up and down!
And then she stops. The cracking noise getting to her. "Ewwwww. Why do you do that? Doesn't that hurt a bit? Mignon doesn't understand how people can do that .. although Mignon's sorry for falling into you! And Mignon's reaallly interested in what you can do so Mignon will stay right here!"
She's beaming. PERHAPS SHE HAS A PLAN!?

Roberto was actually hoping that Mignon would've taken the normal response that people take when he says something like that. Desperately try to smack the ever lovin s*** out of him, and present enough vulnerability that they would indeed be set up for what he had planned. Mignon staying right there wasn't part of the plan.
Needless to say Roberto has to change his strategy to reflect this development and so he begins juggling the ball as he moves towards Mignon at impressive speed before thrusting out a to hammer her in the stomach and send the soccer ball high into the air. When the soccer ball begins to fall downward he flips backwards and practically clutches the ball between his foot and shin as he drives it down like a glowing hammer on her head. Not what he had in mind, but if he pulls it off, it'll be pretty damn cool.

As Roberto was going fast at Mignon, Mignon smiles and bounces a bit more in place. She's going to see a cool trick! A cool trick! And then, suddenly, Roberto juggles TOWARDS Mignon and then hammers her in the stomach. The shield of water doesn't even have a chance, and as he drives it hard into Mignon's head, well, Mignon WOULD see it but he knocks her out like a light!
Thudding against the ground, dizzy, Mignon murmers something. "Oooh .. that was sooo coooooolll....." And then her next thing..
"Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz... Mignon sweeepppy....." He may have hit her a little TOO hard.
