Description: Beach beach beach beach beach beach beach PAINTING beach beach beach beach beach. o.o/!
It's another day in the Sound Beach. Although it is fall, the atmosphere is still rather peaceful, giving off a bright, sunny air. The atmosphere is rather peaceful, with the people outside running amok with their games ranging from tag to playing with the beachball. There are a group of children and adults playing volleyball.
Standing admist the group of children and adults playing their games and swimming is a young boy in pristine white clothing. Jesen, who has been watching them, has a tripod set up with a paint canvas. With his paintbrushes and gear around, he works on a painting.
Something pink this way comes.
SINGING.
"Toodaleedoooo, toodaleedeeee~ Deedegumdrops, deedeeleedeee~." The words have no meaning, have no link, and have no purpose. Some could argue that this explanation also fits Mignon to a tee, but really, why would such hurtful language be used! The Pink haired girl is clad in her showy clothes, even when skipping on the sand, and also with her boots as well.. which will, at least, stop sand from entering.
But she's hard not to notice, since she skips and the attention that she forces onto herself. How so? "Mignon spies something with her small eye.. and that thing is BLUE!" She points out, grinning, and with a loud, partially grating voice, that just oozes cuteness. If it wasn't irritating. "Heehe.. Mignon's not sure which is bluer, the sky or the water! Ahh, Mignon sees both anyways~!"
Wait, wait, wait. What is that, is that a PAINTING? Mignon skips over to peer over the boy's shoulder, "Mignon thinks it looks really good .. but it needs more blue! Mhmm, Mignon's good at coloring! She loves those coloring books too!"
The attention to the painting is interrupted by the beautiful song of a figure, who causes him to stop his painting. He shuts his eyes, taking in the sound endearingly, before he places the paintbrush down to see the presence of the figure.
She is pink. Extremely pink. Interesting. Her nature is interesting as well. She possesses a very child-like demeanor, almost like a six-year-old. The bespectacled youth takes notice in her approaching his way.
As she skips over to glance over his shoulders, Jesen cants his head to the side curiously, getting a good look at her features, before he turns towards the painting, "You think so?" He tilts his head over towards the painting, "...I suppose that was what made it feel incomplete." Taking the brush, he strokes it against the water, then along the blue paint, then he continues the art to reflect the scenary.
"It's an attempt to capture the atmosphere around here." He smiles, noting the completeness of the painting. Setting it down, he allows for a new canvas to be revealed in its place, then he turns to face her.
~ Interesting.. I can feel the energy. ~
"I'm Jesen. I'd like to paint you."
Peering over, Mignon certainly looks onto it alright, and with all her attention on it, it's hard to taker her mind off such a thing. Which has a natural life span of about a minute, as Mignon looks over the painting a tiiiny bit closer, nodding. "Mhhhmmm mhmmm. Mignon thinks it's muuuuuuuuuuuuuuuch much better now, it's so much more blue! Mignon really likes blue in these pictures." You mean paintings? Mignon, certainly means picture. That's Mignon for you.
Grinning wide, smiling even, Mignon nods, bobbing her head up and down as she rocks a bit. "Mignon is realllly happy to help you out with your picture, she's a good helper!" At least. She thinks so! And you know it must be true, then! "Mignon's not sure how you can capture the atmosphere in a picture, but Mignon is sure you can do it if you put your mind to it!" And then, when he allows for a new Canvas, Mignon ooohs. "So, what are you paining next? The birds? The children?" And then he introduces himself. Mignon looks .. well, dumbfound. "You want to paint Mignon?! Mignon thinks this is so sudden ... but Mignon knows that her good looks and charms are just too much for some people..." She says almost snobbishly.
"Naaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah just kidding, heeheeehe!" She says, shaking him a little in the process. "Mignon is Mignon, and Mignon would be hap-hap-happy to be your picture perfect painted person!" She bobs her head against and strikes a pose, peace sign infront of her eyes. "How'd you like Mignon to be painted? Like this? Or like this....or how about.." It'll be faster to just TELL her before she cycles through her range of motion thrice.
The prodigy artist glances towards Mignon as she appears rather surprised that he chose her as the painting. His eyes drift back towards the children with a smile. While the children do possess the innocence and carefree nature that Jesen longs for from someone dear to him, the person with such energy draws him.
"Yes. I choose you." He offers a stiffling chuckle at her snobbish act, but then she jests. Shaken, the boy is undeterred and he smiles. "Perhaps you can attest it to your good looks and charm."
The hardest part is to find the exact, perfect picture that would best describe her personality. To establish the said personality, the boy considers the most perfect pose for the young woman.
"How about this one?" He considers, "Turn to your right side, then extend your right arm to the peace sign and tilt the right leg up a bit." He considers, "And add a little wink to it." The boy, already have it in his mind, does begin to already start on the painting. With a vision in his mind, the youth is already brushing up. He just needs her for reaffirmation."
As the prodigy artist glances towards Mignon, Mignon CERTAINLY looks happy for what she's been selected for her in truth ... she's actually happy! But when it proves that he's totally one hundred person no foolies, no lying, seriously going to pain her, Mignon is like, just so happy.
"Yay! Mignon's going to be painted! She's going to do her best at being painted, mhmm.. although Mignon thinks that means Mignon does less, right?" As Jesen even goes on to say she has good looks and charm, Mignon gasps! "Mignon knew it... but no one ever said anything about Mignon, but Mignon thinks she's too young for anything beyond being painted!" She crosses her arms and everything as she says this, 'serious' as she speaks.
But then .. POSE TIME! "Ooohhhh-OKAY! Mignon is on the job!" And then she turns to her right side... that's easy. Tight arm extends a peace sign .. CHECK! Right leg up.. wooaaahh.. okay, she's got it no, no teetering.. THERE! Winking, Mignon's smiling. "Mignon really likes this! It's fun. Mignon'll try to stay like this as well, weeeeeee~!"
It's like a game of red light green light! But with paintings!
To see the sight of the young lady happy brings a smile to the young boy's face. Happiness is, infact, one of the many things that he likes to see through society. It is a shame that such a thing cannot exist without guidance.
That earns a glance her a grin when she mentions that she thinks that she's too young. "Well then." He tilts his head over, "How old are you?" The boy states, then he keeps his paintbrush focused for several moments.
After several sways, the young man offers a bright smile. "Done." As always, Jesen always feels accomplished of the vibrantness of his work, taking a few steps back before he considers her nature. "I like you. You have the personality that I wish my little brother had." The youth smiles, "Having a carefree attitude is a good thing. People need it a bit in their lives."
But, without further ado, the youth says, "You can get out of the stance, by the way." He flips the tripod over, revealing the picture of her in that said stance.
Staying in that position, it's harder than you think, Mignon doesn't let herself fall out of it! No way no how! And as he asks her age, Mignon shakes her head a bit. "Nuh uh uh~! Mignon's not telling that~!" She grins wide and the realizes, "Oops.' Before she stays in that position a biiiiiiiiiit more.
And then, yippee, it's done! Mignon staying in that position as she's considered. "Heeehee. I'm sure your little brother's nice too, especially how Mignon thinks you're nice!" But then, she doesn't put 'logic' and examples together. If Jesen only knew about Ninon and her actual hatred for Mignon!
"But then agaaaaaain. Mignon never met him! So Mignon can't say such a thing, nope!" She stays in that position until he finally tells her to get out of it, and a good thing too, because the tripods shown to her, Mignon flipping forwards once to look on. "Oooooooooh. Mignon looks really nice! You caught Mignon's good side, mhmmm. Mignon really likes this picture! Mignon thinks it's the bestest and that you're a reaaaaaaaallly good painter!" She bobs her head, nodding a few times and then going back into the position, only for a few seconds. "Mhmm! That is definitely Mignon alright! Mignon would know Mignon anywhere!" Smile smiles brightly as she repeats this. Like it was important.
At the mention of his brother being nice, Jesen slowly starts to grow rather somber at the mention of him. He runs a hand over towards his hair. The yellow eyes looked a little lost, but he simply brushes them away, shaking his head with dismay. "I wish I could agree with that." He smiles a moment later, dismissing the thought.
Her comment about him being nice registers, "Thank you." He considers her for a moment, then he tilts his head up. "Hrm." As she gives her squeal of approval, the boy smiles. "Thank you. I work on what inspires me to paint. That is how I can get it done. Your presence has been inspirational." Of course, from Jesen's point of view, that is a good thing.
He considers for a moment as he clamps the paintset together, putting them away.
"As for your age... You look to be two years older than me."
"And I'm fifteen."
OOp. Maybe Mignon shouldn't have said that! That's perhaps a bad thing, and Mignon says a LOT of things. What are the chances are the second may be bad .. and the third.. THE FOURTH!? Oh no no NO! But Mignon won't worry her life away! "Mignon understands because Mignon's sissy isn't so nice neither, but Mignon loves anyways!" Smiling wide like someone clubbed her into non-intelligence, Mignon's happy to give praise where praise is due! "Mignon tried to paint before, mhmm, and Mignon thinks she did a really good job! But Mignon couldn't keep the pain in the likes so she found it kind of hard, yepyep. But Mignon finished it anyways, because you can count on Miggy!" Rocking back and forth as she speaks, hands held behind her most of the time, Mignon looks at Jesen as he mentions.. age. "..Really?" Mignon thinks out loud. "Mignon isn't sure herself now .. Mignon knew she remembered, but now Mignon has to rethink! Mignon is sure Mignon can't be that old! Nuh uh, no way~!" She stamps the ground a bit in confession!
"...It's no problem." Ignoring his own family issues, the young boy offers Mignon a smile a moment later. But when he starts to stand up and get everything together, the young man places his equipment back into his bag. Hefting the bag over his back, his eyes drift to get a good look at Mignon.
"I am sure we will meet again."
He smiles, walking past her. But just because it would be fun to do and Jesen is odd, he leans over to give her a peck on the cheek while passing by.
"Perhaps we will meet in the arena one of these days."
...Wait. He knows that she's a fighter?
Should she turn around to see him, he would disappear within the coils of a black mist that quickly envelops him. The darkness swoops the boy away, leaving the mist to die away.
