Description: The League hits the beach for a late summer brawl in Metro City, between hometown boxer Heavy D! and a man american enough to wear the flag on each bicep. While Guile takes a beating early on, it gets close right near the end with an explosive finish. (Winner: Heavy D!)
It's starting to get to that time of year where the beaches up here in Metro City are getting cold enough that most people would rather stick to places not filled with water cold enough to turn you into an icicle, but today the beach is filled with people anyway.
Why?
It's time for a fight!
Having been sent all across the world on his more recent fights for the league, Guile's happy to be back in what can be called his home turf, even if people did start throwing stuff at him the last time he fought in this city. This time he's not going to be beating up one of their 'protectors' so he shouldn't have the same problem.
A ring has been set up on the beach consisting of nothing more than a set of four poles fairly widely spaced out with lines pulled between them. Guile's busy stretching out his limbs in what he was told would be his corner, waiting for things to get started.
He's not a 'protector' persay, but he's still a hometown hero of sorts. This just happens to not be Heavy D!'s part of the city. No matter though, a fight's a fight, and in front of a crowd with quite a few guys from the slum who came out all this way to watch as well, as well as in front of League cameras, D! can't exactly turn this down or just phone it in.
Climbing into the ring after his introduction, D! quickly makes his way into his corner as well, throwing out a few warm-up jabs and punches, making sure his footwork's clean, his wraps are tight, and his boots laced before he turns over to his opponent for tonight. Lets see what will result from this one, mm?

With his opponent finally getting into the ring and the announcer bellowing out his name, Guile gives a small wave to the crowd before he starts toward the center of the ring to greet Heavy D!, it is after all a friendly match and he doesn't have anything against the man. He thrusts out a hand, "Good luck."

Heavy D! gives a nod to Guile as he slips behind his fists, gauging the man in the fatigues. He looks like quite the fighter, so...no way to underestimate him. Slipping behind his guard, feet slipping apart for balance. Finally, the bell rings...and D! rushes in. With a quick charge in, D! closes the distance across the ring between him and the broom-headed fighter, finally reeling a right arm back and....snapping out rapid Left hand jabs in hopes of catching Guile off guard and putting pressure onto him back into the corner.

As the bell rings, Guile's just starting to pull himself into his fighting stance, Heavy D! crossing the distance quicker than he expected and all of the quick jabs flying right through his guard and taking him full in the head, knocking him back. A cheer springs up through the crowd at the impressive start.
The people in the crowd aren't the only ones impressed by the manuever, but Guile doesn't do much to show it aside from moving more quickly to get into his stance before rushing in at his opponent, arms flying out toward either side at the very last moment as he attempts to ensnare Heavy D! around the waist.

As Guile's arms wrap around D!'s waist, he twists him around and hauls his back up across his shoulder before blasting up off the ground a full six feet into the air before coming back down and dropping to a knee to put the full weight of the drop on his opponent's spine.
D! can't pull back quick enough to avoid being picked up. However, when he leaps up with the boxer in toe, and tries to drop him down onto a knee, D! manages to twist out of the grasp. Rather than drop spine first onto the knee, he simply ends up dropping to the ground. Sure, it hurts, but it's better spread out on his back. Grunting, D! manages to get up quick after the drop, snapping out a rather overextended body blow toward Guile's side as he spins up to a crouch.

Guile isn't quite prepared for Heavy D! to roll out of his grip at the last moment, and it leaves him wide open on the side as the strike comes in with his arms moving far too slow to intercept the strike. It hits solid and sends him sprawling off toward the side before he can pull himself back up into his fighting stance. Rather than rush right back in, though, he starts to circle at a distance, narrowing his eyes as he tries to get a feel for D!'s movements.
COMBATSYS: Guile focuses on his next action.

As Guile backs off, D! tries to keep the pressure up. Not wanting him to get a moment's rest, D! pushes on. No fancy things yet, no stutter steps or sudden chi blasts. Just simple, rapid jabs to keep Guile off his feet and backpedaling, hoping to set up for the big blows to come.

There's a faint smirk on Guile's lips as he watches D! moves in at him, dropping back into a crouch. Just as D! gets within distance, some guy out in the crowd shouts out at the top of his lungs, "LOOK, HE'S GONNA DO THE FLASH KICK!", and Guile is left wondering why this guy keeps following him around for long enough that he doesn't even get his move off and the blows coming in through a completely open guard, knocking him down.
The man disappears back into the audience like a ninja.
Heavy D! has no idea what's up with that guy or anything, but still, D! reaps the benefits. In any case, with Guile reeling again, caught in the middle of his signature attack, the boxer keeps pouring on that pressure. Hoping to keep Guile off his feet, D! reels his arm back...then, with a big uppercut, sends an explosion of chi outward from the ground toward Guile, keeping the momentum up.

With no ninja anti-fanboys bellowing things out to distract him, Guile actually manages to pull himself together in time for this attack, his arms shooting up to hold off most of the blast's force and pulling back a few feet in its aftermath before slowly starting to circle again, his guard drooping slightly as he tries to pull himself back together.
COMBATSYS: Guile gains composure.

Guile's left to catch his breath again it seems. Seeing this, D! once again presses the advantage, not wanting to let Guile take too much of a breather. Driving in, he closes the distance between them again as Guile circles. It's fast enough that he even seems to disappear at first before he's at Guile's front, driving in with a crouching hook low to Guile's body, following up with a driving straight punch into the gut, and finishing up with an uppercut meant to lift Guile off his feet.

Heavy D! hits hard, and Guile's got no intention of taking another solid blow from the man. As D! starts in at him, his arms cock back toward either side and his hands burst with yellow chi as they curl into fists. His arms start to fly forward, but his opponent's in on him far faster than he expected and each of the hits comes in clean, sending the soldier flying up into the air.
Nice, D!'s still got Guile off his game enough that he's unbalanced. No need to pull up off the gas quite yet. As Guile comes down from his trip into the air, D! is ready, a right arm cocked back high. Finally, as he drops near, D! drops the punch in a sharp, overhead strike, trying to give his ribs a little more to think about on that landing.

There's not much you can do when you're coming down out of the air, and that proves just as true for Guile as it does anyone else. D's fist collides solidly with his side, bringing out a fierce grunt from the soldier as he collapses to the ground. But even being beaten half to death isn't enough to completely put a man like Guile down and in a flash he's back on his feet and rushing in at D!, his hands darting forward as he aims to grab his opponent by any available limb.

As his hands grab hold of Heavy D! by the wrist, Guile twists around on one heel and then hauls the man over his shoulder and sends him flying out across toward the other side of the ring.
Now that stops D!'s momentum dead. While he came after Guile after the Rock Crush drilled him down, Guile got up a lot quicker than he expected...and as a result, before D! knows it, he's got his arm grabbed and wrenched, sent flying over Guile's shoulder with a startlingly loud THUD. That hurt a lot more than it should have, possibly thanks to D!'s awkward landing. Pulling himself up by the ring ropes, favoring his left shoulder a bit, D! grits and glares at Guile. He let his guard down there...but now's not the time to be scared off. Quickly, he comes back in again, winging out alternating quick shots toward Guile's chest.

There's definately a spark of something crossing Guile's face as he finally gets in his shot, although he doesn't bother letting out a cheer or shouting out any sort of taunt. Things have been going against him enough that he doesn't really have any reason to be acting superior here. What he does do is let his guard drop just as D! comes in for the attack, letting each blow hit him solid and knock him down onto his knee. From there the shouting man could give a fair estimate of what's about to happen next. Guile bursts forward slightly before launching upward, his leg fully extended and his boot sheathed in yellow chi tinged with blue as he aims to take Heavy D! full on in the gut before coming back to the ground and launching a second time, then a third, this time trying to take Heavy D! with him on the end of his boot as he blasts a full seven feet in the air before coming back around.

Looks like momentum is on Guile's side now. As the flipping kicks snap out, D! fines no answer, each chi-charged kick slashing into him like a masterfully crafted sword, until D! finds himself sailing, flying into the air and crashing to the mat with an ignonimous thump. Groaning, the boxer tries to pull himself up, hearing the countdown in the back of his swimming head. Finally, he gets up, shaky, but undaunted. He's not about to drop now...and with his fist held up and glowing, it looks like he's got his own answer to Guile's attack. Chi built up in his right hand, he makes a quick step out with his left, anchoring down and twisting his whole body into a full arm extension, fist pointed toward Guile like a cannon...and complete with the shot, as chi explodes out of his fist like gunfire, hopefully turning the tides to D! again.

The tides in this battle have been flowing rather solidly against Guile this entire time, so it's no suprise to most when the powerful blow takes Guile straight on, blasting him back with all of its force and launching him toward the edge of the ring, slamming into the ropes but somehow managing not to bust through them. Whatever company designed them clearly knew what they were doing. As the ropes start to push Guile back forward, there's a sudden burst of chi from the man before he starts stumbling a few steps then rushing through the open distance, lunging out with a sudden flurry of punches and kicks, all seemingly random movements aimed all across D!'s body.

D! didn't expect Guile to come bouncing back that quickly...but he's ready. Even if his knees are a bit unsteady, his guard is rock solid, absorbing shot after shot, each blow deflected or outright avoided, weathering the last ditch attack. It's worn him out, but he's likely in a better state than Guile right now, even as his forearms cry foul from the welts that have formed.
With that final assault, Guile's spent all the energy he's got left and simply drops to the ground. Today certainly hasn't been his day.

And once it's apparent that Guile's down for the count, the announcer shouts out D!'s victory, the hometown boxer raising his fist up, bruising forearms and all. The league cameraman makes sure to capture the triumphant D! as he makes his way around the ring before looking at the prone Guile. Once the celebration is finished, of course, D! makes her way over to the fallen Guile, extending an arm out to him as a means to help him up off his feet.
...rather, help him ONTO his feet.
