Description: Aranha does some fight hustling in Downtown Southtown. Hinata decides on bringing ice cream to a street fight when it hits the ground. Feelings and bodies get hurt.
If it wasn't for the fact that Southtown is considered a fighter's city, it would be odd for someone to be openly fight hustling downtown but here is Aranha, the Capoeirista in the middle of a busy street. The fighters thus far haven't been too much of a challenge for the Dancing Spider and he has managed to make short work of them and take their money.
The most recent of his opponents gets dragged off while he stretches and waits for a new challenger to appear. "C'mon. There's gotta be someone out there to try and take my money." He taunts. Of course at this point though he's made enough money off the fights that even if he loses the next one he's still making a nice profit and so he can just sit back and have fun with it.
As a rather standard evening practice for the Sunshine Girl of Taiyo High, Hinata finds herself travelling through downtown Southtown after having visited one of the surprising number of ice cream shops in the Southtown area and now carrying with her a rather impressive three scoop ice cream cone (strawberry, mint chip, and rocky road if you need to know). It is in the process of just finishing off the first scoop of her cone that she comes across the end of Aranha's last fight.
When the challenge is issued, despite having a substantial amount of ice cream left, Hinata steps forward from the crowd, a few short bursts of cheers going out as a number of Southtown natives recognize the girl despite being out of her usual Taiyo blues and in the far more casual dress of a small pair of khaki shorts and a rather plain yellow tank top. "I'll fight you!"
When Taiyo's Sunshine Girl shows up a smile appears on his face, pleased with a chance to finally sharpen his skills. There's a familiarity with Hinata from her various appearances in the Neo League. He reaches into his pocket and pulls out a pair of shades. Oakley Thumps in particular as he slides them onto his face and the shades' earbuds into his ear. With a click of the button the sounds of berimbau and drums pump into his ears. He'll need the rhythm for a more serious opponent.
While he goes through that simple ritual, he looks Hinata up and down studying her carefully trying to gather as much information he can. He gets the feeling he'll need it. "Well then. Come and dance with me." There's a short pause. "Wait... Aren't you gonna finish the ice cream first?"

Hinata simply stands there, licking along the second scoop of her ice cream cone in a rather calm manner while she waits for her new opponent to prepare himself. She doesn't seem as if she's being derrogatory, like some other fighters who might act like they don't take it seriously just to psyche out their opponent, she's just really into that ice cream.
Of course, then Aranha seems to have managed to get himself all psyched up for things and Hinata pulls into a somewhat less than precise stance, "No, I'll just finish it during the fight. Please do your best not to hit it, okay?" With no chance for a confirmation, the girl hops up into the air, swinging one of her legs around in a wide kick that sends her shoe flying off her foot and zooming through the air, aimed right for her foe's head.

Aranha was completely unprepared for a shoe to go flying off her feet. There's a moment where he tries to get out of the way but he just isn't quick enough. There's a look of stunned silence. He can believe that the attack landed. He saw the speed in the attack but there's a bit of disbelief in the fact that:
1)She kicked her shoe at him.
2)She's fighting while eating ice cream.
3)That shoe hurt more than he thought it would.
And so he begin to move in swaying to the beat as he goes into ginga. His movements are smooth and clean until he drops into a handstand his legs snap open and he spins and spins like a tornado and even if he's not targetting the ice cream specifically it'll be up to her to protect it from his kicks.

Not able to move as fast as she normally can (because that might jar aside her ice cream), as the upside-down whirling Aranha comes flying in, she whips up her free arm, each of the kicks landing their force entirely upon her forearm while she holds back the ice cream cone in the other (which, by the way, manages to stay completely undistrubed).
There's a pause after the attack is launched while Hinata takes a few more licks at the cone before looking back toward her opponent, "That was pretty good." Then in a flash she lashes forward to plant one hand on Aranha's shoulder, push herself up off the ground with a single kick then try to slam both feet onto the back of his head to launch off over top of him, spinning around in midair and taking a bite out of the top bit of ice cream before landing.

Aranha barely has time to rise from the Inverted Tornado before Hinata performs a one-handed vault over him to throw a kick at him. He charges into the kick not letting her get full extension on the kick blunting the damage but still hurting significantly but thankfully not as much as could have.
The charge because he provided a bit of push to keep her in the air also gives him just enough time to leap away to land right on top of a parking meter and from there, he launches himself off of it to kick her in the shoulder just as she lands on the ground. When Aranha lands, he drops into a roll before rising to his feet once again.
Things might have gone better had Hinata not been holding the ice cream in her hand when she tried to hop over Aranha... and it appears she's paying the price for that as the kick comes launching in, hitting her in the shoulder and causing her to drop her ice cream. It hits the pavement with a horrible splat and a number of gasps escape the audience, wondering if this will cause Hinata to unlock some secret form that will destroy half the city... or maybe just thinking Aranha's a jerk for ruining a girl's dessert.
Hinata fails to activate some super powerful form, simply giving a sorrowful look to her now lost ice cream before she turns back to face Aranha, "You... you ruined my ice cream. I was eating that!" That's all she says before she twists around and brings a quick roundhouse in aimed right for the other fighter's side.

"Hey now!" Aranha exclaims as he cartwheels out of the way the roundhouse kick. "I did ask if you want to finish the ice cream before you began." He follows that with a back flip to give him enough room to continue his speech. "It was a bad idea for you to fight while eating ice cream. Pull off a win, and there's even more ice cream than you came here with in it for you."
With the speech done, he performs a quick twist to perform a spinning side kick with a precise thrust of his heel to the same shoulder he kicked before.

As the kick comes flying in, Hinata once again seems to be less than her usual speedy self, not even seeming to try to move out of it's path. As the kick collides with her shoulder, the girl goes flying back further than expected from the force of it, applying a small kick off the ground on her own to help propel her a good distance away from her opponent.
"You kicked me right in the shoulder of the arm I was using to hold that, you could have just gone for the other one to be nice about it!" Suddenly her arms pull off to her side, a small speck of blue chi forming between them until she thrusts them forward, the tiny ball of chi quickly growing up toward basketball size before flying off directly toward Aranha, bursting out into an impressive sunflower design as it gets close.

"Aaargh" He shouts as the ball of energy impacts his stomach sending him flying into a wall. The impact causing a slight crack in the building. He takes a few moments to get himself together before dancing his way back into range with a frown. "I didn't plan on knocking the ice cream out of your hand either. I should've known any chance for a fun fight was ruined from moment you decided you were gonna bring ice cream to it."
Aranha drops into yet another handstand and walks his way in on his hands before suddenly dropping one of his feet down to the ground while he swings his heel right for Hinata. "I'm sorry. I'm sorry!!! WHAT MORE DO YOU WANT FROM ME!?" He shouts as he follows that kick with another. The playful mood now gone from the fight.

As Aranha sends his attacks flying, Hinata easily slips out of the way, a smile coming back onto her face as she finally ends up toward the side of his position, "Oh well, it's not a big deal. You didn't mean it, and it was just ice cream."
Although not exactly the best way to apologize, she then ends up sending her fist flying in toward the side of his head. But not really an angry punch.

Aranha's face goes into a neutral expression as he quickly raises his hand to intercept the punch, his body leaning away as he does so. As far as he's concerned the fight has ceased to be fun for him and since Hinata isn't that much younger than him he doesn't feel so bad about what he does next.
He lashes out with a glowing blue roundhouse kick followed by a glowing spinning jump kick and then a glowing back flip kick. A combo designed to put people on the defensive.

Hinata finds herself pulling back defensively as each of the strikes comes in, but underestimating how quickly the trio of blows was coming in, instead finds herself getting caught up by each one of them until the final one knocks her back and up into the air, coming back to the ground a few feet away.
It takes her a moment to get back up to her feet, but as she does, it's clear that this isn't just for fun anymore. Her eyes narrow as she actually starts to watch the rhythmic movements of her opponent a bit more carefully.

While Hinata is getting up, Aranha continues to press the offensive. Taking advantage of the distance he closed in with and the fact that his aggression wasn't punished, he stares into the Sunshine Girl's eyes while he sways and recovers. He's studying her just as closely as Hinata is studying him.
His study time is significantly shorter since he thrusts out a foot in a front kick before leaning into a back bridge and then thrusting his hips up and over, flipping himself so he puts a bit of distance between himself and her.

It would seem that Hinata's extending studying is certainly paying off for the girl as Aranha starts coming in. In a flash, a sudden burst of energy seems to spread out from the girl in a quick pulse while her eyes narrow. Then just as the first strike comes in, she kicks one foot up off the ground, her leg suddenly covered in flaming chi as it comes around into a round house, intercepting the kick and then coming into Aranha's side with incredible force before going on. It's quickly followed by a fury of blows as she spins around, bringing more and more of the strikes in as she starts to rise higher and higher up off the ground, the final kick in the whirlwind assault coming in right to the side of Aranha's head.
His attack was doomed from the moment his foot was thrust out. He ends up getting batted around by Hinata's series of strikes until he's dropped to the ground. He's slow in getting up and then he stares for a moment before launching himself at her.
Aranha performs an outside crescent kick from his front leg which then drops to his rear leg. He shifts back and swings his leg around in a rear leg outside crescent kick which is quickly followed up by a trio of kicks where he touches the ground as he swings the heel of his rear leg towards his opponent's head. On the third of those particular kicks he cuts short and turns his foot as he drops it down on the ground before swinging his other foot at the head in a roundhouse kick-like motion though it's also done with both hands on the ground. He then shifts his weight over to the side swinging the unplanted foot up and over which though it doesn't hit, it generates momentum for the other foot to come back across. He performs a handstand and performs a series of rapid spinning handstand kicks. All kicks in this sequence are engulfed in blue chi.
Afterwards, regardless of whether he's successful, he'll drop to the ground for a few moments more, rise to his feet, reach into his pockets toss out a wad of money that easily covers twice the amount of ice cream and walks off without a word. He has no need to say anything else at this point.

Hinata's definately gotten into her groove, and as those kicks comes flying in she's rather quickly ducking under the high ones, jump up over the lower ones, and then simply does a quick backflip out of the path of the rest before coming to a rather soft landing and giving a quick 'v' symbol with her thumb and forefinger.
The crowd lets out a cheer, but as Hinata sees Aranha walking off in a less than cheerful mood, she scoops up the money and rushes on after him, planting a hand on his shoulder, "Hey, you don't need to give me all of this, I just need a new ice cream cone."
"Well... Even if the ice cream cone by some miracle did make it through the entire match, I still would've gave up the money. That was the price of losing." He shrugs and continues walking before looking over his shoulder. "I fight for fun and profit and I made my profit for the day. Peace."
Aranha's pace gradually increases not desiring to continue the conversation. As a matter of fact, if it wasn't for his current condition, he'd probably be taking for the roof tops right now where he could be assured of getting away from her.
