Balrog stands in the Dream Amusement Park, surrounded by a crowd of cheering fans and the cameras. He's presently waving to the crowd, and tosses a rose to a particularly attractive young woman in the crowd. She catches the rose and faints. Balrog continues waving, doing a bow with a flourish to what he's sure are /his/ adoring fans.

It was probably inevitable that a meeting 'tween the two would happen again. Still, D! isn't exactly too happy about it, knowing who his opponent was. The bastard DID try and shank him on his own street before. It was only some smart tactics and some luck that helped the boxer prevail. Here...the stakes are a bit more even.
Walking through the crowd toward the fighting area (getting a few cheers from his international fans), the boxer slides through, eyeing the spanish Ninja as he plays to the crowd. "...at least I'm sure you won't be trying to gut me outright here," D! says with a little distaste, quickly going through a few punches in the air to help himself warm up a little.

Balrog spins around, a bit chagrinned as the cheering increases. He points his claw at Heavy D! "What makes you so sure?" he asks, before laughing petulantly. He performs a final arm-wave at the crowd, before dropping into fighting position. He dashes towards D!, before leaping into the air. He torpedos through it with a spin, aiming to pass the boxer with a slash at his shoulder, before striking the ground and rolling to his feet, facing his foe.

D! seems a bit too off his heels when Balrog leaps. Committed too much to countering a ground rush, he finds himself cut down on his shoulder, causing him to skid to a halt and grip at his fresh wound as he turns back around toward Balrog. "Nhhh..." NOt willing to let that little strike get to him, he wheels forward again. Dropping down low near Balrog, he snaps forward with a left straight, stopping it just short of striking. Pulling back the feint, he quickly snaps out his right, trying to hook across into Balrog's chin, mask and all.

Balrog leans back, the punch passing his face harmlessly. He does an armless cartwheel to the side with a quick shout to throw off his foe, before he drops down and jabs forward, at Heavy D!'s inner thigh. He's trying to pierce the artery, and take his foe down early. The claw blurs as he strikes, as Balrog hisses, "You're mine!"

While Balrog has the air advantage, he doesn't necessarily have the ground.
As Balrog weaves away from the hook and cartwheels away, D! glares and steadies his base, waiting for the eventual return strike. When the claw stabs forward, so does D!. Right arm extended out, feet spread out, he lunges forward, past the scrape of the claws as they scratch into him to bury a nice, chi-embued shot right into Balrog's stomach. "NGHH!"
Balrog gets struck in the stomach and pops backwards, curled forward. He hits the ground and rolls backwards to his feet, gripping his hurting abdomen with his left hand. "Hrggh...Bad choice." He boosts forward with a quick two step, and then suddenly jumps into the air, aiming to plant his hands on D's shoulders. If he gets a grip, he falls forward behind him and then seeks to hurl him over his head, into the arena's wall.

Heavy D! pulls back as he hits dead on, quickly assuming his guard as Balrog rolls back onto his feet. Stern in face, he tightens his fists, waiting on Balrog. WHen the ninja leaps into the air and plants his hands on the boxers shoulders, he tenses up, and once Balrog pulls, he twists out, managing to right himself enough that the only real damage is from a slightly awkward landing into a crouch. "Nhh..." Realizing he's going a bit too all out at this point, he hangs back, trying to get his mind set and work out a way he can herd Balrog into a bad spot, like he did in their last meeting.

Balrog turns about to face Heavy D!, and narrows his blue eyes behind his mask. "You're too slow, D..." he hisses, as he slowly circles the boxer, his moves careful and methodical. "And you're out of your league. Just conceed now, and I won't have to gut you..." he growls, taunting the boxer so he'll lose his cool.

Heavy D! snorts. If Balrog's trying to get D! to lose his cool here, he barks down the wrong ally. Not taking the bait, he just continues to circle and eye Balrog, waiting for a good spot to strike. Suddenly, he steps sharply forward on his forward foot, trying to disrupt the ninja with a swift left blow to his own shoulder.

Balrog gets struck in the shoulder by the punch, too fast to avoid. It produces a light thump, and only manages to elicit a snarl from the masked warrior. He suddenly leaps into the air and attempts to lock his ankles around the boxer's neck, his left hand falling to the ground. He holds it momentarily, before spinning about and attempting to throw D! with the torsion of the move.

Now that hurt.
Caught by Balrog's legs, the boxer finds himself unfortunately tossed out, rather unceremoniously, the wrenching of his neck and the sharp impact doing the number on him. Hissing in pain, he growls and backs off, trying to catch his breath and hopefully clear himself out enough to keep in the game...

Balrog rises to his feet, grinning behind his mask. "See what I mean?" He suddenly runs forward, and leaps into the air as he performs a drop kick. It passes D! narrowly on his side, Balrog's left hand flying out to grab the boxer's face and drill the back of his head into the ground with a vicious maneuver.

Somehow, it seems D! just doesn't see what Balrog's getting at. Case in point, when the ninja passes by with his drop kick, trying to grab him on the fly, the boxer instead twists about rather than falls straight down. Winging out a sharp left hand toward his face, he tries to drop Balrog into the ground instead, if only to use the momentum to keep himself afloat.
Balrog gets hit in the face, and drops to the ground, rolling to the side and back to his feet, in a low pose. His left hand traces along a hairline fracture on his mask, before an animal growl emerges from the Spaniard. "My face...MY FACE!" He yodels suddenly as he leaps towards D!, attempting to land behind him and grab him around the abdomen, for a crushing suplex.

If D! were more prone to trash talk, he'd comment on Balrog's face...but right now, he's a bit more focused on getting through the fight and getting a victory. Unfortunately, he finds himself quickly taken by surprise, slammed down with one nasty suplex that drives him head first into the ground. Even as he tries to roll with it and minimize the damage, he finds that it still HURTS LIKE HELL. Groaning, he rolls back into a rather lurched crouch, intent on getting his breath back once more it seems.

Balrog turns about and leaps straight up into the air, his golden ponytail flying about behind him. "HYAAAAAH!" he shouts, as he pulls his claw back. He attempts to land on D!, and drive his claw down into his stomach as he has him pinned, before springing off of him and away, to a safer position.

Just like last time, as Balrog lunges in, D!'s waiting for him. And just like last time, it's the same story. Passing by the lunge, accruing only a small scrape or so, the Boxer reacts, a chi-charged punch driven directly into Balrog's abdomen to spur him back and give him something to think about. Putting his weight into the punch, D! lets out a loud battle cry of his own, showing that he's not finished yet. No sir...
Balrog gets struck in the stomach, and launches backwards into a wall. He sinks down, gripping his stomach as he hisses in pain. "Urghhh..." He slowly climbs back up to his feet and shakes his head back and forth, before he drops to a football player's stance. He waits for a few moments, before sprintinging forward at the boxer. He rolls as he does so, and ends it in a slash aimed at D!'s stomach.

Heavy D! has a...vested interest in not seeing that claw jab into his stomach. As such, he quickly drops his arms, trying to intercept the slash on his meatier forearms instead. Deflecting the blow away from his vitals, the boxer backs off again, panting slightly. He's really wearing himself out here, trying to goad Balrog out. Still, he seems to hold back....
...at first. Trying to lure Balrog into an advance by backstepping a bit, D! suddenly rushes out, weight shifting off his heels with a charge. Barreling out with several wild assailing blows, he tries to overwhelm Balrog with jabs, hooks, body blows, before trying to finish off with the big time straight right into the face.

Balrog dances backwards, allowing Heavy D! to chase him around the amusement park as he deftly avoids the blows. As he dodges and twirls through the withering assault, Balrog taunts, "Can't catch me, D! Maybe you better try a career in rap!" He laughs again as he suddenly jabs forward with a strike at the boxer's face, trying to slash across it with a quick movement of his arm.

After all that, bupkis. Eesh.
And to add insult to injury, D! finds himself struck right across the face by Balrog's claw on the dodge, causing him to scramble back and clutch at the fresh cut. Glowering through spread fingers, he hangs back again, trying to get his bearings once more.

Balrog grins beneath his mask, sensing his advantage. He dashes forward and attempts to spear his shoulder into the boxer's stomach, slamming him into the side of the arena's walls, next to cheering fans. "You just can't cut it..." Balrog sneers.

Alas, the defensive approach, when it fails, tends to fail HARD. When Balrog spears into D!, the boxer tries to swing down an overhead strike into his back...but only gets body checked into the wall for his trouble, his counter punch stemmed before he can make contact with the ninja, resulting in him pinnned and groggy against the wall...
Balrog begins to knee D! in close quarters, aiming to slam him between the legs repeatedly. He laughs while he does it, beginning to thoroughly enjoy this fight. "You're just yesterday's dirt, D..." he hisses in close quarters, again mercilessly taunting his foe.

The knees strike into D! as he's pinned up against the wall...but like any good boxer when he's against the ropes he comes out swinging. Knowing he's dead to rights where he is, Heavy D! flashes out with a monsterous straight, the punch short shifted a little due to the lack of room for a proper follow through. Still, it should be enough to get Balrog back away from him and give the ninja some pain of his own, right?
Balrog gets caught right in the face, flying backwards and stumbling to keep his footing. His mask is broken and on the ground, his mouth dripping blood. Balrog wipes the blood on his arm, hissing, "Never touch my face..." He suddenly rockets forward like a bat out of hell, aiming to spear D! with his claw, right in the ribs. If he hits, he'll flip him up in the air like a ragdoll, before catching him on his claw as he falls.

And the world was black and red....
Worn as he is, and unable to pull himself away in time, D! finds himself speared along Balrog's claw, sent spiraling up and falling straight for the claw. No escape here...but still....as he falls, with his final burst of energy, he tries to make one last stand. Arm pulled back, he snaps forward with a punch of super-charged proportions, hoping to drive a Magnum point blank into Balrog's face right as he finds himself impaled...

Balrog simply knocks Heavy D! aside, dropping him off his claw. He takes a moment to lick the blood, grinning to himself, before he turns to the cheering crowd and bows. "Thank you, thank you!" He turns about and leaps into the air, landing in the crowd and disappearing.
