Elle - Little Queen

Description: Heart (1977). Elle gives Yurika food for though as she interrupts the Seijyun prodigy on her way to visit her friend. The metalhead mercenary tries to teach her the finer points of strategy, politics, and combat skill, in that order. While the first two lessons try to open Yurika's eyes to the harshness of reality a little further, the final lesson threatens to close them prematurely.

Well how about that, Summer is here! Meaning that these days? School grounds aren't very popular. Most students are either taking summer classes or simply just don't have a place to go back to once the school year ends.
It's a gorgeous day out, perhaps a little too hot to just be strolling around doing nothing, and luckily Yurikia Kirishima hasn't returned to Seijyun to do nothing. Now that it was confirmed that Akira was rescued from Shadaloo and brought back home, she (with a bit of an elbow nudge from her brother) has decided to come back and make sure that her best friend doesn't go back to Thailand. Even if her means were a bit.. Well.. Sketchy.
But she looks pretty much as anyone about school grounds would expect, in her frilled, light blue school uniform, with a white parasol in hand to shield herself from the heat in one hand, and a cracked violin case in the other. One couldn't tell from her rather pleasent expression that she's just emotionally exhausted from all the insanity that's been going on lately. It was quite a 'wake up call', as it were.

For some, it might be best to just go back to sleep. Elle is a prime example of what happens to a person that manages to learn exactly what goes on behind the scenes. There's a high price to pay just to be in the know, and the cost is usually morality. Being stripped of what allows a person to clearly define what's 'right' and 'wrong' and replacing it with a jaded, apathetic eye is almost a necessity.

And the worst of it is, her rather unbecoming demeanor isn't even an end product. For the mercenary rocker, there's far more to learn, and a lot more to discover. Confidence is easy to come by when you simply don't care about what you see anymore.

One of those things that you learn to do when you're a woman like Elle is to make sure that all your ducks are in a row, and all your avenues are still open. Neglect of any one contact is usually a bad thing. So it should be unsurprising that Yurika's return to her school should be interrupted by Elle's appearance, her heavy boots chuffing lightly across the ground, her taller, more intimidating form apparently immune to the heat. "I hear your little friend got turned," she says, speaking up from behind Yurika, her voice cool and level.

Heavy boot chuffing? For many people that doesn't mean much, but to Yurika's ears it means that a familiar face isn't very far behind her. So then it isn't very suprising for a couple of reasons. Yurika doesn't halt in her steps until the older woman speaks up though, in which she turns to the side slowly to aknowledge Elle and greet her with a mysterious little smile, "Good afternoon, Elle. It's been some time."
"Forgive me, though, for having no particular response to your comment; even if it were true that is rather none of your business." The prissy musician turns fully at this point, she can't help but end up looking over the womans attire once again, though there's no absolute frown like when they first met. "I was just headed to my room, would you like to join me for tea?"

The mercenary shakes her head. "Not much of a tea drinker. I'm here to let you know that if you're harboring someone Vega turneed into a doll, you're in for more trouble than you're ready to handle." Elle's dull, joyless eyes meet Yurika's in a dead stare. "I'm not threatening you. I'm just letting you know. Think of it as a 'courtesy call'. If he even so much as gets wind that you're keeping his toys away from him, he'll pull you apart, brain cell by brain cell, and there's not a hell of a lot anyone will be able to do about it."

"Now, I'm not going to tell him. Hell, I don't even know if you actually have her," the rocker says, shifting her weight from one leg to another. "I just wanted to make sure you knew what you're dealing with. I don't think you're even scraping the surface of what you need to know."

Elle's hard face grows even harder. "Unless you got the guys for it, you need to stay in your bush leagues. All the trouble that goes on between these..." she waves her hand about, "These rival schools? It's dirt kicking playground crap."

Yurika has a hard time deciding if she needs to keep her guard up or not. She knows she has a mild alliance with the woman, but these kinds of things again are usually factors she leaves her brother to take care of. Well, if there was any time to learn how to deal with such people now wouldn't hurt.
She curls her lips inward a moment, and gives a slow nod of her head, "There isn't much that I do by my own decision, I do as I'm told." More or less, "Even still, I do appreciate your advice. But I do understand the concept of 'stregth in numbers', I confess I'm no mastermind but I'm not completely inept either. In fact that reminds me,"
Yurika pauses for a brief moment, the violin-case clad hand raised to her lower lip so she can tap it lightly, "About our previous discussion.. I wanted to thank you about that as well. I'm very tired yet, I think I feel a little stronger as a result."

Elle gives a short nod. "Good. I'm the last person to lecture on strength. I do know this, however," the woman taps her head with a fingertip. "This is what makes you strong. Everything else is just sort of a side effect." Still, the fact that Yurika still remains beholden to another makes negotiations with her tricky at best. Elle's not the sort to pull punches, however, and definitely still sees more utility in Yurika than Yurika sees in herself.

Strength of mind, integrity, and initiative are all a person needs to succeed. Power flows to the ones that know how. Elle's come to beleive that as long as she continues on her path, she'll be able to beat any odds. And so, it behooves her to ask of Yurika's own initiative. "So how far have you gotten here?" Elle points to the school. "Last I heard, Zaki was still in charge and you were just another pretty flower adorning the garden that is Seijyn." The rocker reaches down to pick a flower, and holds it up. "Lemme tell you something about flowers. They're pretty. Everyone likes them." She tosses the plant over her shoulder. "Everyone uses them, steps on them, and even if they avoid abuse? They wilt, die, and end up sitting in a compost heap."

Yurika can certainly agree with Elle there, she considers herself a smart girl, but there are too many things that she doesn't know that, while she's afraid to learn, would like to. Though generally first things are first, she understands about how things run in Seijyun, and how it effects other companies in Japan.
It was an interesting subject to bring up, that was for sure, but Yurika wouldn't complain, pretty much anything not Thailand-related is easier on her mind. She looks to the schools fountain for a moment, and then back to Elle as she makes her demonstration using the flower. It makes her cringe slightly, but she slowly shakes her head, "In this school appearance, manner, and beauty is what makes a model student. Being a 'flower' is beneficial here. It doesn't suprise me that you wouldn't understand quite how that works, of course." Jab jab.
"Yes it's true, Zaki more or less is quite powerful here but I'm not concerned about that at the moment either. But that aside, popularity is what will take me up there.." Yurika points up to one of the higher floors of the academy. It's not obvious what she's referring to until she explains further, "The president of the student council. I think then, I can change things with minimal trouble. Quite clear of... Compost heaps."

Elle responds by grinding the flower on the ground under her foot.

"I know how it works," she replies, apparently unoffended. "You know how it works. You know how it works. And that's why you haven't gotten anywhere. Everyone you know is playing by the same exact rulebook. You think people get places by playing fair? There's a way to do it, but even then, it involves taking advantage of every miserable loophole and crack in the rules that all the extra work isn't worth it."

The mercenary tilts her head. "Who's in charge? Zaki's in charge," Elle raises a hand, and starts to count off on her fingers. "The woman has modified her outfit so that it clearly violates your school's code. Strike one," her pinky goes up. "I'm going to guess that scaring the shit out of all your teachers isn't what they mean by 'manners' around here, either." Her ring finger goes up. "And who the hell knows what she looks like under that mask? Even if she looks like Charlize Theron under that thing, she's got a piss rotten attitude. Kid's ugly on the inside." Her middle finger comes up.

"Strike three, kiddo. You lose. Because she knows the rules, and she knows that everyone else is too pussy to break them and come after her. And as long as she's established the ceiling? You got nowhere to run. Popularity aside, if she thinks you're a threat? All she'll have to do is clear her throat, and the rank and file will get in line."

Elle folds her arms. "This is high school stuff, kid. Not some Byzantine plot. I told you, what you're looking at here is dirt kicking in a sandbox."

The musician for a moment seems to be caught off-guard then. She was expecting Elle to be impressed and.. Well, she doesn't seem that way at all. Though this becomes more clear the more she listens, the more disappointed she becomes on top of it.
But if Elle isn't going to be offended, she isn't going to outwardly display it either, even if the sudden narrowing of her eyes states she may do otherwise. Yurika doesn't though. "I.. Suppose I see your point, even if I don't completely agree with how much of a disadvantage I'm in," She's too embarassed to confess that she doesn't particularly enjoy playing dirty, either. "As you can already tell, I'm perfectly willing to put in more work than I need to. I cover all of my tracks, and I want everything to work smoothly. I don't have much, doesn't it only make sense that I take the safest route?"
There's then a brief pause, "I'm not certain I like this 'sandbox' analogy."

"You don't have to like it," Elle replies, her voice flat. "Just listen."

"A few things. First, if you have nothing, then that means you have the least to lose. In your situation, the difference between the haves and the have-nots are all up here," she taps her head. "In the end, the only thing seperating you and her is what you think your limitations are, because High School is an artificial reality. Power shifting comes fast and loose at your age."

"Now, even if you don't like fighting dirty, there's a way to do this and keep your hands clean," Elle informs, shoving her hands into her jacket pockets. "Your want to play it stealthy, you work on campaign that undercuts her. She's got a cult of personality. People are always looking for a leader, and she presents the image of someone who knows what she's doing."

"You either make people beleive that she doesn't, make them beleive that you do, or..." She stares at Yurika again, her dull unblinking eyes making her look almost like a machine rather than a person. "You make her beleive that she doesn't."

Yurika probably should be unsettled by Elle. When it comes down to it, she seems less and less like a 'person'. Of course, Yurika herself isn't really all that normal either, but she's definatly feeling uncertainty. Yet at the same time feels a bit of intrigue, because she believes what she hears.
Now she just has to ask herself if it's wise for her to be feeling that way or not. Still, she does as told and listens to the very end, in which she remains quiet for a little while longer. Her brows furrow as she stares at the ground, perhaps with too much concentration.
".. I see.. That. Does make sense.." Actually it only really bothers her because that's what Kurow had been pushing her toward all along. She had hoped there was an alternate method, she did consider Zaki a friend, but obvious if their ideals clashed it'd be disasterous!
She draws in a deep breath; she wants to burst into tears, but.. That simply wouldn't do at this time. "I agree with you. It's clear I won't succeed unless I can at least do something as simple as that. Very well."

Yurika does want to be in charge, correct? If Zaki were to capitulate simply by request, they wouldn't be having this discussion. To Elle, it doesn't matter if she's dealing with Ryu, or Bao, or whatever lies in between, it's her goal to find the best way to deconstruct them, either emotionally or physically.

That is arguably why she gets paid the big bucks.

"So. That's out of the way," Elle says rolling her neck slowly and stepping back. "Let's see if you still know what you're doing. Give me your best shot," she says, falling into a combat stance and radying herself. Apparently, just a discussion isn't enough. Elle needs to see if Yurika's applied that more aggressive instinct to battle.

Yurika is actually very quick to comply. Anything to push away the mixed feelings welling in her gut right now would be extremely helpful until she was sure that she was alone. She also wanted to prove to Elle that she indeed had gotten a bit stronger, though judging by the way she's feeling right now she's starting to second guess that.
"Very well then.. I will not be wishy-washy about it this time around. I will show you how I have improved." Yurika says, she closes her parasol, sets it on the floor and opens the violin case, taking out the intrument and bow. 'Just concentrate on the fight, remember what I was taught, and what I had learned on my own in Thailand. Just focus on that, and I'll be fine' she thinks to herself.
And so she holds her bow out like a fencing sword, smile playing her features once more, "Just one thing though.. I'm curious to know if you're getting something out of this."

"There's only one thing you ever need to know about me," Elle replies, lifting her hands. The sounds of a low rumble fills the air. "I always get something out of everything I do. Makes winning worth it and mitigates the losses." And with that? The mercenary rocker is already charging towards Yurika, her hands practically shimmering in barely-visible power.

Elle closes in on Yurika, meeting the girl and stopping short just a few feet away. Her hands swing forward as if to latch onto the schoolgirl. However instead of physically connecting, the woman brings her hands within inches of her ears and releases a crippling torrent of sonic power. The screeching, deafening riff of sonic energy sounds like sitting inside of an electric guitar amplifier at a KISS concert.

Clearly, Elle has learned a few things in her sojourn across the world.

"Interesting. I can't read you at all.." Yurika murmurs, she's assumes Elle is telling the truth, but she can't possibly fathom what that truth is. But she could worry about that later, right now she has to deal with her musically talented opponent, the grip on her bow tightening as Elle closes in and unleases her sonic energy.
Well clearly earplugs wouldn't be very helpful in this situation. Luckily she can handle it on her own. She tightens up, grits her teeth, and bears it but judging by how her eyes seem intensly focused, she's emitting -something- to resist that power. The schoolgirl hops back a single step, shakes her head quickly, and then swiftly rushes in for the counter attack, first thrusting the bow at Elle's gut, "Un!" then raises it to slam into her neck, "Deux!" and then with a spin, swipes at the older womans knees to try and sweep her off of her feet, "Trois!!"

Elle would be a lot easier to 'read' if she actually had a style. Instead, she seems to do battle in a confusing hash of commando techniques, weapon tactics, and flat our street brawling. The result? Well, sometimes it works, and sometimes it doesn't. And when Yurika comes in to take her down with the bow, she's completely off balance.

The bow sweeps her down to the ground, her body slamming to the pavement like a stack of bricks. Despite the damage inflicted, Elle looks more than hale and hearty still, and she rolls back up to her feet without much more than an annoyed grunt.

As she does so, her hands again begin to fill with energy. As she snaps back into the game, she swings her hand forward, releasing a powerful lightning bolt at the hapless schoolgirl, hoping to barbecue the woman's petticoats properly.

Wait a minute, now Yurika realized what it was that seemed a little out of place. It wasn't the attacks, she pretty much just assumed Elle had taken things up another notch on that aspect.
But hapless? Yurika wouldn't agree with that, she can at least safely assume that the way Elle's hands are positioning, energy is going to follow. She raises the bow to her other weapon, and kicks off of one foot to spin on the toes of the other, a 'ribbon' of musical energy starting to form, but not quite fast enough to stop the bolt of power that was fired at her! Yelping in suprise, the musician topples over and onto her back. She rubs at the side of her head, needing a moment to gather her wits.
That was very, very unexpected. "No guitar?"

Ask and ye shall receive.

Elle whirls around again, her body crackling with electrical energy as she pulls the ever-present guitar from the holster along her back, the weapon coming free with the audible snap of clasps being forcibly undone. The woman shoots forward, but as she does so spins the guitar rapidly like a baton. The gleaming instrument whirls about so quickly, it looks like Elle is holding a particularly odd-shaped disc.

As she closes in, she thrusts the weapon into Yurika's face, attempting to batter the young student about, letting the heavy metal plated body of the instrument batter away at Yurika's defenses and hopefully inflicting large amounts of damage on the young girl.

Hmn yes she probably should have kept her mouth shut there. But at least Yurika can deal with an attack like that, even if it does look like a disk at first glance, she knows what it really is. Her slender bow comes up once more and she slashes upward, the two weapons clashing for not longer than a second, with enough momentum to direct the weapon away from her much needed face.
In the same motion she twirls fast enough for her dress to bell outward and thrust her weapon out to try and catch into one of Elles pant beltloops. If she can manage to catch that loop, she'd throw her weight to the side and fling her opponent to the ground below them.

Elle denies the attempt through sheer brute force, heaving her body backward and breaking the hold that the bow has on her belt loop, her feet splaying so that she can get ahold of herself before she backpedals into a flower bush or something. Heavy boots kick up dust as she gears herself up for another pass at the schoolgirl, her guitar up over her shoulder.

This time, though, as she makes yet another pass, the woman pulls a length of wire from her pocket. Shooting across the ground, she's crouched low as she flings the weighted peice of guitar string between Yurika's legs, hopefully entangling the student so she can yank firmly, sending the girl face first to the ground.

The prissy student frowns just a bit, she didn't think Elle would be ready for that one. Yurika staggers just a little as a result of the woman breaking free, but is back in a defensive stance, seeming to be in preperation for whatever may be to come next.
When she sees the guitar string, she automatically thinks to defend high, she already making the motions to crouch low to meet the approach, and of course ends up getting a nasty suprise when she gets caught up and hits the ground face first quite hard. Her legs and dress bend back then snap back to the floor, and once she's up, there's blood left on the stone, and trickling down her nose. And her poor scratched forehead!
".. Nngh." She tightly grits her teeth as she stands up again and leaps forward, swinging her bow in a diagonal arc to strike the side of Elle's head. This is followed up with a twirl and a mary-jane clad kick to the womans gut!

Instead of trying to avoid the incoming attack, Elle steps into it, the bow crashing against her temple. The weapon momentarily causes her to stop in her approach. That tingled feircely, and it'll take a little time to shake that off. Nevertheless, one the sting dies down, Elle is already closing in on the Darkside Student Congress member like a jackal after a sick deer.

Without having to close too much distance between them, Elle's body begins to emit a low humming noise, which indicates she's about to let fly with one of her more insidious attacks. Once again, she slams forward on her feet, and moves her hands just inches from Yurika's skull. The ensuing blast of sonic power is enough to shatter glass and burst blood vessels should it manage to break past Yurika's considerable defenses.

A low hum is pretty much the only clue that Yurika gets after her swinging assault, and she's only for a second uncertain what is headed her way. About all the time Elle needs, it'd seem, for her to blast her sonic attack once more upon the girl, she not having quite enough time to slip away rather than defend against it and the results are.. Staggering.
Surely enough nearby glasses shatter, and Yurika's eyes cross, she gripping desperatly to her violin bow and for the first time in a very very long time, lets out a shriek of pain. She's felt plenty of pain before, no stranger to it, but this targets her most sensitive area. Blood gushes from her nose and leaks from her ears, and she collapses to her knees afterward.. She's intensely shaken up, there's no way she can push on under her own will.
Her body from that points moves on pure instinct, the bow settles on the slender strings of her instrument, and what she plays is an utter abomination of her usual, beautful classical pieces, and the musical ribbon of her sound energy rips to life and flashes into existance once more. She twirls madly, attempting to draw Elle into her hurricane while shooting into the air like a star and hopefully lay an intense assault of her own!

The horrible cacophony alone is enough to make Elle narrow her eyes and grind her molars. The violently lashing ribbon of energy, the whirling hurricane, none of it really should be immediately escapable, especially since Elle's not what you call a speedster. The woman crouches, hunkering down, and braces herself, watching the whirling display. Justbefore the culmination of the horrible attack hits?

She rolls across the ground like a commando, skidding to a stop just as the ground she was previously on detonates with enough force to spray her with hot dirt and debris. The smoke finally clears up, revealing a coughing but unscathed mercenary.

That was sheer, unadultered luck, and Elle knows it. However, the gamble worked, and now she's ready to finish off Yurika. Leaping through the air like a leather clad rocket, the woman uses the bare bones Shadaloo training at her disposal to land behind the student to wrap a strong around her neck. She then attempts to strangle her into unconciousness.

At all times in battle it's important to keep a cool head, and always have a plan. At the moment, Yurika doesn't have either, she notices that Elle wasn't caught up in her attack, but from her position at least she's able to be ready when she drops to the ground..
Well, that is when her vision stops blurring over on ocassion, she's still a bit messed up from the attack. When she lands, her back is to Elle, and she clenches her eyes shut, using Elle's footsteps to figure out how close she is. She actually may have been extremely lucky to manage to lean down and make a quick turn-around so that she's standing behind Elle while she grabs nothing but air. There's no counter-attack though, in fact Yurika springs backward to gain herself some more space, and proceeds to play her violin once more while ignoring the rather constant bleeding and breathes from her mouth.
Again, the sound that comes from it is just short of horrid- But if given time, it gradually improves, the music coming to life once more and dances about her form.

And now for something... completely different.

Elle's eyes narrow. Something's not right. Elle's known for her ability to remember, and something tells her that her usual method of attack just isn't going to cut it this time out. So Elle improvises, which, next to nigh obsessive planning, is one of her primary life skills. Quickly, she wraps her loose guitar string about the head of the guitar, looping it around the neck as well.
Cinching the wire into a knot, she takes two steps back, and then hurls the thing forward dead center to slam into Yurika's body, hopefully ending the playing and giving her a chance to regroup and come up with another tactic.

The weapon hurtles towards Yurika, and even should it miss, Elle will be able to yank the thing back in, so she won't lose her weapon. Pretty ingenious, no?

Different indeed. But during all of that, she isn't going to break her concentration until the very last possible moment. Her music is steadily becoming more sensible by the time the guitar is whipped her way, and just when it looks like it's going to slam into her, she twists to the side, the tip of her violin slams into guitar and redirects the momentum leftward while she continues to play for just a moment longer.
When it comes to a stop, her eyes open, and she spits some of the crimson off of her lips, "All right."
Seeming to want to return the favor, the musician skips a couple of steps forward, catches her violin case's handle with her bow and of course flings it right at Elle in retaliation!

Yurika's hit strikes true, and the bow lands the case into the rocker's gut. The woman lets out a short grunt, narrowing her eyes slightly as she falters for a moment. Wasn't quite ready for that attack. Nevertheless, while Yurika's putting up a fight, Elle's only just now beginning to run down. Her movements are a smidge slower, but nothing that would leave an overtly exploitable opening.

Staggered by the impromptu attack, Elle takes the moment to collect herself and take stock of the situation. The electricity on her body starts to raise the hackles on her neck as she converts raw energy into more endurance, revitalizing herself.

And for the moment it seems that Yurika has finally started to gain some momentum, as miniscule as it may be. She doesn't have much choice but to press on, however, her cheeks puff out a little bit and then she storms forward, bow once more raised to her fighting instrument of choice. One of three things can happen here if Elle remembers correctly, but for the moment her motto is 'At first if you don't succeed..' She twirls backward and sweeps low, feinting a low sweeping kick, and then following a few musical strings another ribbon of energy rips to life that once again sends her shooting upward and hoping to bring Elle along with her.

This time, Elle doesn't bother to dodge. Instead, she seems to just... stand there. The explosive amount of power hurls Elle into the air like a rag doll. The mercenary seems to go into free fall, the energy tearing about her angrily, blasting all around her. This time, the woman isn't able to simply shrug off the negative effects of the energy ribbons, and as she slams back to the ground, she's visible shaken.

It takes her a good few seconds to manage to stagger to her feet as she lets out a groan of discomfort. Elle's not dead yet, through, and as the guitar is pulled down to across her chest, Elle seems to exude energy. Definitely a dreadful feeling to anyone that may be in her path. Despite having taken egregious amounts of damage from Yurika's assault, Elle's playing is relatively unaffected as she begins to play the opening chords to 'Crazy Train' on her guitar. The sound rises up from around her, as if she was plugged into an amplifier.

The roaring energy seems to build up around her, the sonic chi shimmering like a sheild around her body before suddenly bursting from her frame, the rolling wall of sheer sonic force casuing the air to shimmer. Rocks, plants, and garden furniture seem to practically disintigrate under the powerful sonic blast that tries to catch Yurika up and finish her off as well.

The prissy musician isn't done quite yet, she thinks she's starting to feel her second wind, as the music makes her feel a bit revitalized. Landing daintily on one foot she takes a light step back, the musical notes, rests and clefts continue to twirl, and she's sure she knows what's coming up next. Confident in her own chi control she waits it out, and to match Elle's 'Crazy Train' she retorts with 'Turkish March'. The colors become more vibrant, sweat trickling down the side of her face as she again twirls, this time on just one foot, her tornado yet again put into play that clashes for an intense moment with her opponents wave of sound. While her own technique isn't as blatantly destructive, for a while it seems to do an astonishing job of not just holding off the wave, but slowly starts to absorb it.
Perhaps it was a moment of lost concentration that she fails to put it at a complete stop though, she feels a pop in her ear, coughs up a bit of blood and drops to her knees yet again toward the end of the Black Sabbaths assault. Her shoulders shake, panting heavy as she makes an effort to get up for one last strike, but after a moment she realized that she simply just doesn't have anything left to fight with, even the tail-end of the technique was enough to finish her off.

And that's how it is. Elle's playing stops, and the mercenary guitar goddess turns her head to look at Yurika. "You rely a lot more on your instrument than I do," she says tossing the girl some tissues to clean up the blood and a packet of asprin. "I'd look at expanding my repitoire a little bit when it comes to it. You do better when people aren't expecting it. Gotta chenge up your tactics. Keep 'em guessing."

WIth that, Elle turns to start to leave. "Remember what we talked about today. Let me know when you want t make your move..." The rocker says strolling by as she works the soreness out of the shoulder ahe landed on. "And you might want to find out how Zaki fights... just in case."

Elle's learned a lot more about the ninja heiress this time around. Whether or not Yurika takes anything from her meeting with Elle? Well, that's basically on her, now isn't it?

Yurika brushes her white glove under her nose, though after noticing the tissues, accepts those. The asprin? Well, she may as well accept that as well, it didn't kill her last time. The musician then back to her feet, she gives a slow nod to Elle, "All right.."
Though that's in response to looking into Zaki's style, it'd probably be good at least to make sure that nothing has changed like what she had just seen with Elle.
She supposes that is that then, after finding her violin case, she sets her instrument within it and locks it up, then finally picks up her parasol once more, "Well then, have a good day, Elle. Again, thank you."
And for gods sake, find a jacket or something.
