Description: Filled with fatherly rage over Billy's recent beatdown of his daughter, the Kyokugen patriarch requests a Neo-League fight with Geese's 2nd! It's a pretty awesome fight, with dramatic turnarounds and lots of Takuma getting lit on fire. The fight took place in a random arena, set up with a lot of pillars for flavor purposes or something. It'd look nicer than this but sadly Billy is stupid and failed to log the scene so I had to copy and paste everything. Somebody tell me if I accidentally pasted any stats or my page-TS with Mr. Big on accident. (Winner: Takuma)
Tonight within one of the more high-class arenas is a fight that is certainly drawing no small amount of attention. Takuma has challenged Billy Kane to a Neo League fight; Calling out a former King of Fighters is usually cause for some amount of interest within the world of professional combat, yet when such is a pinnacle of a world-renowned style, it draws a crowd. Every seat is likely packed, as fans of both the dynamic and showboating British punker -- and the old crusty fading star of Kyokugen -- are in full show. There is a rather dynamic setting this time around, a broad area of pillars; Three meters between each thick column, stretching a good twelve feet into the air. Not enough to inhibit Billy's bo fighting, but should offer a significantly more interesting palette then an open field.
And the first one out, announced as a 'newcomer' in the league with an unsurprising string of victories, is Billy Kane. Dressed in his blue leather ensemble with no shirt and no tolerance for cigarettes, one of Billy's hand sthrows the horns at the crowd while the other spirals his crimson staff in a nigh-whirlwind, catchphrase reaching even the nosebleed sections.
"Hey hey hey!"
Flicking up the weapon to rest on a shoulder, Billy comes to a stop in the middle of the designated area, glancing over the columns while running his free hand across the expanse of his white and crimson bandana. "Well. Didn't expect you to call me out." would be offered, somewhat bemused and far from intimidated. "Isn't Mr. Big more up your alley? He hasn't been neglecting your daughter -too- much lately, has he?" A smirk's on his features, but it would seem Billy has no apparent ill ease about pulling a swift victory in this conflict.
It's been a while, that much is right. Regardless, it hasn't done much to unsettle the old man standing a few feet across from Billy, as hale and hearty as he's ever been(if a little wrinkled around the eyes). While Billy speaks, the other fighter is busy looking around the arena with a fair bit of bewilderment - it'd been a LONG time since he's been in such a glitzy, overstated place. The roaring and shouting of the fans(particularly Billy's, it should be noted), has him wrinkling his nose and waving a hand in front of his face as he settles into a proper fighting stace, legs spread, hands curled into fists.
Yeah... he looks buff.
"You young kids are too worried about looking good and talking big, you know that?" He rolls his neck and emits a rather horrific crackling noise - this must be what it sounds like to be on the decline. "We never bothered with teasing before the match in my day, and /that/ outfit, son," Here, Takuma inclines his head towards Billy's ridiculous, outspoken outfit, "looks like something one of those confused lady-boys would've worn." A grin, and he tilts his chin upwards, an invitation. "Now shut up and try to hurt me, boy. You look like you've got a lot to prove."
"Tch. You can't be calling me a kid, when that's just about every newbie I seem to be pitted against lately." Billy states with a wry and assuredly amused snort, but hardly insulted. Although who has more battle experience is debatable with Takuma's somewhat placid existence as he enters his elder years, this is not a minor opponent. Thinking differently is a recipe for pain, after all. Insults and jives are literally a part of Billy's fighting, and only people who he genuinely hates can incite any reaction regardless. Iori's the only victor of a verbal spar in memory... "Well, if you want to give me the first go--!"
And Billy's suddenly rushing forward, body low to the ground and trailing his weapon behind. His stance spreads as he thrusts out the end of his staff, aiming to hit Takuma in the solar plexus hard enough to drive the very air from his lungs. If such manages, Billy will attempt to whirl around with a snarl, and heave his opponent overhead in a broad arc, to deposit him with bone-shaking force on the exact opposite side of the bodyguard. "HERE I COME!!"
COMBATSYS: Billy has started a fight here.
COMBATSYS: Takuma has joined the fight here.

It's been /too/ long, clearly. Takuma's arms move, to be certain, but he isn't quite fast enough to get them into position in time, and something about Billy's /movement/ sets him off-guard. Regardless, Billy's pole slams into Takuma's stomach exactly as he'd wanted it to, and all the Kyokugen master can emit is a surprised "Hoorf!" before he's tossed up and around the British punker, to land on his back with a head-jarring SLAM. It says a lot that he's able to get up as quickly as he does, and even more that he's coughing, but coughing while -laughing-.
"That wasn't proper grammar at all! You need to announce these things /before/ they happen... anything else is just underhanded! Like so!" Again, he falls into a proper karate stance, unhurt for all it'd seem. "Are you ready, Kane!" Takuma's running forwards afterwards, and executing a clever sort of sidestep-twist at the last moment so as to properly bring one balled-up fist around his body and into Billy's side while (hopefully!) avoiding any defense the punk can muster.

Whirling around, Billy lets out something of a snort at the other man, shifting his weapon and catching the fist cleanly in the middle of his staff. It dents slightly, but otherwise looks unharmed. "I'm ready." is stated thereafter, shifting a couple steps away while spreading his stance and beginning to spiral his weapon rapidly. He shimmers with what appears to be heat in the motion, thrumming like a rotor blade overhead with grin on his features. Sparks and crackles of flame surround him, an obviously significant amount of chi and focus being channeled in this motion. "You can do better then this, old man... Ryo hasn't surpassed you just yet, has he?" His free hand gestures, in the classical manner that anyone should recognize: Bring it on.
COMBATSYS: Billy gathers his will.
Takuma narrows his eyes as his fist slams into Billy's staff, and shakes his hand out while the younger fighter is busy stepping back and performing his crazy pyrotechnics. Again he falls back into that spread-legged stance, and takes a moment to focus himself. He even lets Billy finish shooting around fire and make his threats. This brings a broad grin to Sakazaki's face, and he takes a moment to tighten his belt, stating: "Well, us old men need a few minutes to warm up. We can't just leap into things anymore - it's bad for the back." Belt tied, answer given, Takuma hops back a few feet and pulls a complete reversal of his momentum, shooting forwards in an unnaturally -zoomy- flying-kick.
If this hits, it's followed with another one that's intended to send Kane some dozen feet into the air, possibly even through a pillar! Takuma's got some hella strong legs, he does.
COMBATSYS: Billy counters Hien Shippu Kyaku from Takuma with Fire Dragon Pursuit Cane.

"By the time you finish warming up you'll be in a crumpled heap on the ground." Billy sounds entirely confident of this fact, smirking wrly towards the other man while circling slightly. Although suddenly the elder combatant is rushing in his direction, intending on a devestating blow. The defense might not be anticipated; The bodyguard rushes to meet, him, flicking forward the crimson staff and intercepting that vicious kick. It hits, and the kinetic force dispersed blows out a huge billow of dust, staff creaking dangerously. Yet before the followup can commence, Billy yanks his bo aside to knock Takuma into a vulnerable position, and disassembles it into three pieces connected by chain. A veritable onslaught of blows is unleashed at Takuma, smacking into his chest a few times with each end while he's still within the air and likely in the process of falling. A cackle leaves his lips, punctuated by the final blow intending to send Takuma fully into the ground. "Predictable." leaves Billy's lips; That one's from Geese. Snapping the bo staff back together, the end impacts beside the former King of Fighter, who lets out a snort with one hand on his hip and stance tall and almost arrogantly confident. "I always knew Kyokugen was a joke... But I thought you might of at least been an exception as a fighter!"
Takuma's eyes go wide when Billy /moves/. He wasn't expecting that! What are they teaching kids these days? The subsequent explosion of dust leaves things obscured for a moment, but rest assured, viewers: Takuma's being soundly beaten in those few seconds, and somehow Billy's cane has turned into some three-link /thing/. Don't worry. Takuma's confused, too.
In fact, he's /still/ confused when he comes flying back out of the cloud, leaving Billy Kane standing in that confident, cocky position he's been touting around the whole time. Sakazaki is in the process of getting to his feet while he mutters something about 'things not working that way', but nonetheless settles back into a combat-ready position. "Hmph." /NOW/ he's scowling. "Things aren't over yet, son. Let's try this again." When he finishes, a burst of golden earth-type chi erupts from the ground beneath him, and the fighter's far more /steely/ than he typically is. What power could Takuma be summoning?!
COMBATSYS: Takuma gathers his will.
Well, Billy was taught by Geese for years! In life, love, and the art of beating the shit out of people at the drop of a hat! Takuma has merely encountered such firsthand for once. When his opponent backs away to similarly charge up a fair amount of energy, Billy doesn't bother to press the assault; Instead he starts twirling his weapon anew, flaring once more with heated fire and continuing the aesthetic display of his sparking and flaming staff pinwheeling about overhead. "Finally gonna fight serious? Might be too late..." is mused opposite, but the offense is forfeited once more to the other man. Which, as has been demonstrated, is far from a liability. The fans seem to already be enjoying this fight, although Billy's crowd is being considerably louder about it. Winning has that effect!
COMBATSYS: Billy gathers his will.

Takuma 1/---====/=======|=======\-------\1 Billy
Takuma is less than pleased with this. In fact, as the golden glow of his chi dissipates around him, his stance relaxes a bit. Just a bit! "It's never too late! Like I said: We take our time with these things. Now, stop sitting there and running that mouth, and work out all that aggression!" He doesn't continue. His ribs are hurting too much for him to continue. However -- It's not quite enough to stop him from continuing. The old man reels his left hand around and sets his jaw - halfway through one rotation, a sudden, intense golden glow envelops his fist, and he thrusts it towards Billy with one loud, proud "KO'OU KEN!"

Well, say what you will, but Takuma's never been bad at the whole Ko'ou Ken deal. As it shoots out, Billy flips around his staff, and attempts to catch it. But it manages to blow past the staff, knocking the bodyguard off-balance enough that's he's caught right in the chest. The detonation of chi sends him skidding into a column behind, striking it hard enough to send a few cracks up. Doubling over a moment, something of a swagger forward ends in Billy again becoming upright, allowing a very pained smile to crease his features. "Ouch!" is offered, seeming more as a way of consolation then admitting any genuine injury. His neck cracks to either side, lips slowly licked before eyes narrow. "Well, c'mon. You look ready. Show me what you are really capable of!" Billy's not in a rush this fight. He'll play it smooooth and play it coooool. After all, having something to prove... That much was true.
COMBATSYS: Billy focuses on his next action.
Takuma, on the other hand, has nothing to prove. Just some ass to kick. You don't, after all, beat up Yuri and expect to not get some wrath. Especially if it's an issue her being totally unable to defend herself against that! So the Kyokugen patriarch... sits right where he is, and watches Billy hit the pillar, fall back down, and invite him to attack again. He goes so far, as a matter of fact, so as to laugh about the situation. "Hah, you think I'm dumb enough to run at you again? We know what happened last time." He frowns afterwards, and steps to the side. This is followed by the rather brisk thrusting of one meaty hand into the concrete siding of a column(he does this all the time, it's no big deal), and its subsequent withdrawal. "In the mean time, I think we'll see how good you are at... baseball. You're 0 for 1, though.. is it just a bad start?" To punctuate his question, he heaves the chunk of rock towards the Brit, because again: Only a dumb person would run at that!

Takuma 1/=======/=======|=======\====---\1 Billy
"You think you are safe standing away like that either, old man?" Billy comments, before he starts running forward. Takuma has the time to break free the hunk of concrete and take the ill-decided time to speak. The final distance seems to almost blur the British punker, one hand brought up and smacking the stone aside with a snarl. His other has already begun whirling around his staff at an ungodly speed, shooting it upwards towards Takuma while the old man is still following through with the toss. And suffice to say Takuma's caught, hefted up in a broad rotor-blade uppercut that causes the crowd to gasp. At the apex his entire staff bursts into crimson flames and forming a pinwheel, igniting Takuma and sending him flying away likely a fair distance. Billy descends thereafter, landing in a crouch with his still-smoking staff held in a lazy arc behind. His head raises, still grinning and brushing dust from his jacket. Maybe now the Kyokugen will realize that there's nothing you can do against Billy that's safe...
He's never going to admit it, but Billy's question does in fact cause Takuma to bite his lip. Just a touch. Because, understand, things have not been going well for the old dog. Regardless he's about to open his mouth and SAY something to the tune of: "In a se-what-glmfhfnfhfnfmfh!" Some of the Takuma supporters make the same noise while their hero is sent reeling backwards, /flaming/... and into a reactionary roll that luckily beats the flames out of his favorite outfit. Takuma comes up to his knees, face covered in some rather serious-looking burns(his hair's intact), and shakes his head. Just once! The big man's arms are thrust forward, and he lets loose one extremely loud, "HAOH SHO KO KEN!" while terrific amounts of chi course through his arms to manifest in one giant ball of chi that streaks towards Billy. Through columns if it must.
There are three of these.

Well, this is certainly not what Billy would of liked. His eyes widen as the rather gargantuan balls of flame start hurtling towards him, obliterating the scenery nearby. Billy manages to snap out his weapon, pinwheeling it into flame again and bracing his body. The first one is dissipated cleanly, sending him skidding backwards. The second obviously stresses him, a literal stagger as his second hand shifts to help assist in the nigh-wall of flame, rotating desperately. Sweat is rolling down his features, and the third blows through. Billy stumbles, landing upon his ass as the cerulean flame dissipates, having lost the fight with the yellow. "Ohhh... So close! Don't got four of those things, do you? No? Come back when you do!" Hefting himself back up, Billy doesn't relent his onslaught in the slightest. He rushes forward, bracing his staff on the ground and launching across the air in Takuma's direction. Ricocheting off a column that's only half-destroyed, he then -- actually tries to run /past/, while hefting off a section of his staff attached to a chain. Sweeping out, trying to take Takuma's feet out from beneath him and deposit him soundly on the floor!

Takuma 0/-------/---====|>>>>>>>\>>>>>>>\2 Billy
It leaves Takuma tired. Very tired, in fact. By the time Billy's able to see past that wall of chartreuse energy, Takuma's leaning forward, arms on his knees, panting. His hair's a little matted down, and it's clear the Kyokugen fighter's not able to throw those around quite as freely as he'd used to. Billy's quip gets a grin, though, and a narrowing of Takuma's eyes. "Just the three. Didn't think you'd be able to conjure up enough fire to deal with it! Impressive! Still..." He comes back up to a standing position, and speaks even as Billy rushes forward. "...Still not as good as Saishu's boy. But that attitude's right up there." As Billy streaks off of that column, Takuma brings his left arm up in a /very/ solid sort of way. Solid enough, as a matter of fact, to catch the chain-link rod and have it loop around the old man's wrist. One tug forward brings Billy backwards and directly into Takuma's steady, tightly-balled fist with enough force to send most lesser fighters to the ground right then and there.
The chain is indeed caught, and although Billy's no lesser fighter, he kisses the ground like any before him. But he rolls up to his feet, yanking the column of staff free as it retracts back into his weapon and giving himself about five meters. "Hah... Not bad! Maybe you aren't totally burned out just yet. But still..." Billy grips his staff again in the middle, and once more starts to spin it. This time both ends burst into flames anew, forming a pinwheel. One that does not stop growing in intensity, enough that the stone ground beneath scorches black and it's likely uncomfortable at this range. "I'LL SEE YOU IN HELL!" And then Billy /snaps/ out his bo. A huge fireball, easily six feet around, gouts out towards Takuma, screaming in his direction with rather vicious speed. A column nearby is consumed by it, but that's not the intention. If Takuma gets caught up, it would not immediately explode; But carry him along, engulfed, before the forceful detonation. This happens to be the very technique that blew away Yuri, after all! Will it work on her father?!

Takuma gives a curious sort of expression when Billy gets to his feet so quickly, and is about to open his mouth to compliment the boy before Billy starts -talking- again. The curious expression turns into a confused one... why is he going to hell!? Nobody's dying! Regardless, it puts the Kyokugen fighter on the defensive, and Takuma leaves that one arm up for the sake of easy defense. As it turns out, this isn't a bad idea.
The fireball does indeed engulf Takuma, and it's clear he's picked up by it and knocked around a good bit, but when that fiery missile explodes and sends him flying, he lands on his /feet/, arms still crossed, gi smoking as any good, burnt gi should smoke. Takuma doesn't move for a long time, rather... he's got his eyes closed, his jaw set. He doesn't move.
"/I'm/ not going to hell. Stop trying to pull people down with you and focus on what you're doing! Maybe I'd be down if you weren't so worried about shrieking!"
COMBATSYS: Takuma gains composure.

Takuma 0/-------/---====|=======\-------\1 Billy
"Maybe I'll just end this now then...!" Billy states wrly, before suddenly charging towards the other fighter as he takes the time to compose. He then begins to twirl his staff around in a crazy fashion, yet about three meters off... He hurls it, as hard as he can. It misses Takuma by a mile, and the end result is that Billy rushes forward with his eyes closed and arms pinwheeling, gait turning into something almost femininely girlish. Even to experienced eyes it's rather laughable and harmless. "HNNNNGH!!" Billy looks like he got scared halfway through the attempt! But if he gets close enough...!

Takuma 0/-------/-======|==-----\-------\0 Billy
Takuma is not Yuri. No offense to Yuri, but Takuma was never so giddy and schoolgirlish. In fact, one could go so far as to say that aside from style and bloodline, Takuma is the exact OPPOSITE of Yuri. Case in point: Rather than be caught up in whatever explosion Billy's attack might incur, Takuma's left arm comes up, lances out to catch Billy's stick, and brings the weapon back towards him as he gets close. Just in time, it'd turn out, for Takuma to lance his right arm out in another screen-shaking punch, followed by a /forceful/ handing-back of the rod towards Billy. Business-end first. "I keep telling you!", he says during the throwback. "You need to stop being so dramatic about these things and just /do/ them! Yuri might be young enough to be roped in by all that bad-boy gesturing, but us older folks don't play those games!"
Billy didn't expect his own staff to get used against him, doubling over the shaft and stumbling backwards while gripping it. Hurling his weapon in such a fashion is hardly a tactical insight of the highest magnitude, but it would seem Takuma's more then no-nonsense enough that, regardless of the brilliant feint, he didn't fall for it. "Oh... not gonna make it that easy...?" Billy then thuds upon his rear, crossing his legs and doubling over a moment. "Whew... Think I need a second..." This is almost derisive an imitation of Takuma -- like Billy is suddenly some old man who just needs a breather before he continues on. Which really happens to be the case more then not, at this point! Although just how much a tactical liability it is remains quite undeniable.
COMBATSYS: Billy drops his guard to recover.
"Why would I make it easy? It'd get you all cocky because you took out almost all of the Kyokugen fighters! We can't have that - I'd lose my boys, they'd all start dressing in those tight jeans and rebel getup. People the world over would look ridiculous!" Now somewhat relaxed, Takuma begins slowly approaching the resting Billy. "Now, son, you need to understand that I'd take it easy on you here, maybe just a punch or something to keep the fans happy and you on your toes... but you DID hurt my little girl." He stops, and falls back into that sturdy ready-position. "After you wake up, you're going to come to the Dojo and apologize to her, understand? Or else I'll come find you again and beat the apology out of you." Takuma leaps forward, foot leading -- and again, if he hits Billy with the first kick, the second's going to send the Brit sky-high.

"..." Billy just stares at Takuma as he rants on upon the ground, almost appearing to be disbelieving. Yet with a grunt Billy scratches at the side of his head, pursing his lips thoughtfully. "She ain't no little girl anymore. She's a fighter. What do you think she's gonna think about you coming out here and fighting me, instead of teaching her how to get strong enough to defend herself? Tsk, tsk, old man. Maybe you just underestimate the new generation, eh?" Twirling his staff, again it's shifted before the kick, catching it cleanly. The second blow sends him skidding backwards, although in the same motion he rises to his feet. Apparently he's not out of the battle just yet, and that little exchange was just an excuse to get enough breath back to hopefully finish the older man off. One hand dusts at his pants. Damn; This is gonna be hard to wash out. "You ready?" The latter with a smirk. He announced it this time! And with that Billy suddenly flicks out his staff, disconnecting anew into three pieces. Attempting to strike him in the face, before being /yanked/ back; As it retracts, with any luck Takuma would again burst into flame, but such would only take place if the connection was managed...
COMBATSYS: Billy successfully hits Takuma with Blazing Cane Thrust.
Takuma just smiles at this. "Maybe you've got a point, Kane. I might just be having some trouble letting her go." Takuma attempts to bring his hands up to grab the stick as it's thrust towards him, but it's a slow, /tired/ attempt. He gets hit squarely in the chest and ignites, only to fall some ten or so feet back. "Mmph. But..." He shakes his head and staggers to his knees, tired, smoking, and thoroughly beaten-looking. Again, the old man's face takes on a rather freaky, enthusiastic grin, and he gets back to his feet. "Did you ever consider that I just wanted to beat your face in? It's not /entirely/ for her - you punks've always pissed me off. No respect! Even Ryo at least offers me a little bit of honest, scared honor! Now let's finish this so I can go home and soak these bruises in a hot bath!" He thrusts his arms out, and again torrents of chi begin running along them. Takuma pauses halfway through.
"...Maybe a cold bath. I'm burning all over." Back to the charging, and it's mere seconds before he's shouting again. "HAOH SHO KO KEN! CAN YOU BLOCK THIS LAST ONE?" Another WALL of chi streaks towards Billy... Takuma's last go at anything flashy, most likely. Billy can't see it, but it /really/ winds the older fighter.

"Hah! Yeah! I'll buy that. I won't ever respect your type... I don't know why the hell your kids haven't gone insane yet. So if you just wanna beat my face in... then do it!!" Rather then attempt to block it, Billy tries to leap over. But he's not got the strength, and is instead caught. But before he's blown back, with a loud cry he manages to force the assault to detonate prematurely; The flaming British fighter hits the ground near Takuma, dragging his staff in a hail of sparks behind in a final lunge. It doesn't seem he intends to go down nearly that easily. "HRRRRAUGH!" And he attempts to again sweep the other man into a vicious uppercut, attempting to send him flashing into that juggling ensemble. But even if this manages, as the final pinwheel of fire goes off... Billy would descend to land on his back with a hearty thud. That's all he's got, ladies and gentlemen! But it was a hell of a fight!
COMBATSYS: Takuma counters Red Lotus Requiem from Billy with Mouko Burai Gan.
Takuma squints up at Billy as he changes the Haoh Sho Ko Ken's energy around so that it's more to his favor, and even goes so far as to lift both eyebrows in a clear show of admiration. "Well n-" Billy's on the ground and sprinting, which means Takuma can't exactly speak without being punched or bowslapped or lit on fire or whatever. This isn't something he can really stand for, and that infamous left forearm is up in time to intercept the stick on its way towards his face.
Takuma steps forward after the interception, catches Billy in a half-hug, and swiftly, lightly headbutts the boy to speed the process of him, well... being knocked out. He even goes so far to lower Billy to the ground! It's gentle! Takuma fans everywhere are cheering on the display of honor and greatness, while Takuma's busy doing other things. Namely, setting a letter on Billy's chest, along with a pen. Something along the lines of
"DEAR YURI: I AM SORRY I PUNCHED YOU, AND I'M GOING TO START WEARING PROPER CLOTHES, I PROMISE. -BILLY KANE" Beneath this is an empty line, and a "You sign this here" written in parentheses beneath it. After that, it's a bunch of standing up, raising the hands, and basking in his very, very, very close victory.
