Description: Maki tussles with Sagat in Egypt! (Winner: Sagat)
Welcome to Egypt, home of the pharohs and the mighty structures known as pyramids. It is within these great tombs that many believe there to be great treasure guarded by strange creatures or the spirits of the mummies residing within. But we're not here for an archaeological expedition.
In the center of a medium-sized tourist-attraction town, a special fighting ring has been set up with the logo of the Neo League in the center of it. Cameras are rolling as things are set up, and people are already taking their seats, waiting for the combatants to enter the ring.
Off to the side of the ring, some spectators get a glance at one of the fighters, Miss Maki Genryusai, who is stretching out before things get underway, and signing a few autographs as well. Unlike most fighters, Maki isn't a big name yet, so she's happy to sign autographs. She even poses for a photo with a young fan. After that, Maki steps into the ring.
"Ladies and gentlemen," The voice of the commentator blares, "Introducing first, Maki Genryusai!" The crowd begins applauding as Maki takes a bow and steps off to one end of the ring as she awaits her opponent.
And after Maki is introduced, there is silence from the announcer. He is giving time for the opponent to approach the Neo League ring. Everyone knows who it is, but he's being allowed to make an entrence first. However Sagat is not someone for flashy entrences. He simply stomps towards the ring in his typical fighting attire. The Announcer will shout, "And tonight's opponent is known far and wide, even outside of his native Thailand. The former Emperor of Muay Thai and living legend, Sagat!" By the time the introduction is through, Sagat has entered the ring. He begins tightening his forearm wraps.

Maki sees who her opponent is as he steps into the ring, and she recognizes him almost instantly from that time she fought with him and found herself getting hit rather hard. Still, it was a good fight, since she learned a lot about her fighting style and how she could improve. Hence the reason she's been doing some extra training in her time off.
She acknowledges her opponent with a bow and says, "I look forward to meeting you in combat once again." Then she waits for the officials to make sure everyone is ready and that everything is in place. Once that is taken care of, the bell rings to signal the beginning of the round.
With that, Maki is quick to run towards her opponent, and when she hits the midway point, she jumps into the air and aims at the large fighter with a strong flying kick.

Sagat will simply incline his head at the greeting and statement made by Maki, then he is all business. His legs bend at the knees and he rises up onto the balls of his feet. His fists raise to hover in front of his face. He's about to move himself, when Maki makes her initial move. His guard drops and he strides towards his incoming opponent. Maki will connect with the massive man with her flying kick. He will lurch backwards a bit, but as he lurches backwards he will be swinging one of his arms in an upwards elbow strike towards the hopefully still airbourne Maki.

Well, Maki can't say she wasn't expecting Sagat to attempt to endure the kick that was aimed at him. It was a smart move given the circumstances. But now Maki has a new problem, there's an elbow coming right at her. And despite her best efforts to block it, she's too late, and finds herself staggering backwards, holding her nose in pain.
When her hand comes away, she's surprised to find there's no blood streaming from her nose. Apparently, she's toughened up a little in between the last fight and this one. And that's a point she intends to prove as she gets down on the ground and then balances on the palm of her left hand and then executes a spinning kick while yelling 'Bushin Senpuu Kyaku!'

Ahhh. That satisfying crunch of elbow meeting an opponent's undefended body. Sagat knows it well in his decades of fighting experience. The Muay Thai Legend will take a step back as Maki recovers from the blow. Both arms are raised as his feet brace for the impact of the Bushin Senpuu Kyaku. The spinning kick strikes against the Thai Legend, but he does nothing more that step backwards to absorb the force of the impact. When his arms go down, he's already in his attacking motions. His lower torso twists and one of his powerful legs is sent upwards in a roundhouse kick. The kick from Sagat is aimed towards Maki's shoulders or head. She better duck.

As soon as Maki finishes with her attack, she sees that Sagat's coming for her with a kick. She attempts to move out of the way, but it's not good enough. She finds herself getting kicked right in the head, and that causes her to stagger backwards in a daze, blood now coming from one of her nostrils.
The sting of the pain from the injury and the fact she's losing blood is more than enough to spur her into action, and that it's time to utilize some strategy.
Namely, strategy that comes in the form of a rapid flurry of kicks and punches that Sagat had better watch out for, or else he's going to be on the receiving end of what Maki calls (yes, she calls it this because she's heard yelling it when she does it) the, "Bushin Gou Rai Ha!"

It is definately a very impressive display that Maki provides Sagat. The flurry of punches and kicks meet with no defense other than Sagat's heavily built and chiseled bulk. Though he's not blocking, Maki would probably feel the great resistance that anyone would when landing a hit against his powerful body. He staggers back only a step due to the blows. Sagat grits his teeth as he endures the powerful blows from his opponent. To retaliate, Sagat steps forward that one step he was forced back. At the end of that step, Sagat will raise a leg. He intends to push his powerful knee into his opponent's sternum or abdomen, to force the air and fight out of Maki.

This isn't even remotely fair, but sometimes that's how life is. Nonetheless, Sagat's kick hits Maki hard in the sternum, and a sickening cracking sound can be heard as the air is knocked out of her lungs. She gasps for air and struggles to maintain her balance, but it looks like the fight has gone out of her. She stumbles around a few times, and then goes to the mat. But before she does, she attempts one last fierce punch aimed right at Sagat.

The Mighty Sagat will feel a smirk raising against the side of his mouth. That last kick took a lot out of Maki, and he could tell by how sluggish she seems. As she approaches, Sagat will bend his knees a little more. The Thai Tiger will then announce, "TI-GER UPPER-C-" And the Mountain of a Man is cutoff. He timed his strike wrong against the sluggish strike from Maki. She catches him square in the face and he's knocked off balance and onto his back. He's mildly dazed... more from the fact that he made such an amature mistake!
How unfortunate that Sagat's effort to stop Maki's last effort attack was foiled. His signature foiled by a simple punch that left him dazed for a moment. How unfortunate is that?
Not so unfortunate, probably, as the fact that as soon as Maki hits the canvas, she does a forwards roll and then stands up in her fighting stance again. She's still bruised and bloodied a little, but the fighting spirit still burns inside her.
She rebounds off of the ropes and rushes toward Sagat, jumping into the air and aiming her foot at his head, yelling, 'Hassou Kyaku!'

Sagat will only be stunned for a moment. He will gets back up and remain in a kneeling position. This is about the time that Maki comes at him again. The flying kick from Sagat's opponent strikes home! Sagat takes it hard in the shoulder, but... it looks as if he made no effort to block or dodge. All the Mighty Thai did was lean to the side. The leaning allowed him to take the kick in such a manner that he allows himself to use the force of the kick to propel him into his next attack. Sagat performs a spinning elbow strike meant to catch the just now landing Maki in the head. More Elbow strikes!

Again with the elbows. Doesn't Sagat know it's not polite to keep elbowing people? Well, apparently not. Hence the reason Maki puts her hands up to block the incoming elbow, causing her to slide back a little, but not by too much.
As soon as she puts her hands down, she's going to attempt to grab Sagat and administer a throw that won't throw him high, but it will throw him to the ground!

However, Sagat is faster than he appears. His actions are like lightning. His mannerisms are fluid and practiced. He seems to know what he's going to do even before his opponent is ready for their next attack. And that seems to be the case here. After swinging his elbow, Sagat will drop down into a low crouch. Just as Maki reaches to grab his leg he will shout, "TI-GER UPP-ER-CUT!" He will ascend upwards, taking Maki with him. She's forcably removed from his leg before she's able to complete her technique. His body arcs when he reaches the end of his ascent, and he will come back down for a graceful landing after his rising uppercut.
That was a real bad idea. Attempting to throw a giant like Sagat and expecting it to succeed. No way! She finds herself on the receiving end of Sagat's signature move, and it really hurts. She finds herself in a world of hurt as she goes into the air with a scream.
In an extreme last ditch effort, she tries to swing her leg at Sagat's head as she goes flying. Not much but at least it will show she doesn't go down without a fight, even if she is out.

And Maki doesn't go down without a fight, does she? Sagat admires the will and desire to win. He truly does. However it's not enough to allow the sluggish girl to strike him. Sagat moves to the side and tilts his head a bit to avoid being struck by the slow manuever. He will take a few steps backwards and watch Maki. Last time he thought she was down, she just kept coming. He takes this moment to center and compose himself.

Again, Maki misses, and again Maki hits the ground rolling and getting back onto her feet. This time, though, she's showing some more signs of injury, and it looks like if she goes down again, she'll be out for the count.
She doesn't attack, though. Instead she takes a moment to focus herself and be ready for whatever may come next.

The Thai Warrior is not surprised by Maki getting back up and looking to still be prepared to fight, regardless of how injured she is. His head shakes, "You have tenacity, girl." He says with an almost amused voice. As she stands there trying to recover and focus on he rnext action, Sagat has already committed to an action. He's rushing towards Maki now, trying to overwhelm his tenacious opponent with his speed and his ability to still be in this fight. He charges at Maki and thrusts a forearm out towards her, attempting to catch her against her head once more with his meaty forearm!

You call that an attack? It may have been quick, but not as quick as Maki was on her feet as she steps out of the way of the attack and shakes her head as if to say, "Oops, you missed me!"
Without waiting any further, Maki goes for Sagat with a fierce strike of her own.

"Indeed." Comments the Thai in his gruff voice. The Thai Tiger didn't expect for his forearm strike to be avoided, but this opponent is full of surprises this day. The people of Egypt are definately getting their money's worth today! Maki's punch meets the unstoppable defense of Sagat's arms. Maki's fist will simply be battered away by the powerful man's arm. In response Sagat will shout, "TIGER CRUSH!" And like lightning, will launch into the air at point blank range. He aims a flying knee thrust directly at Maki's upper torso or chin!

That Tiger Crush really lives up to its name, as Maki finds herself getting a really crushing blow in the torso. The air is removed from her lungs, and another sickening crack can be heard. It's obvious this fighter has run out of steam finally.
"Well... met..." Maki says in a semi-coherent voice as she stumbles around and leans against the ropes, trying to keep herself standing, but in the end she collapses to the mat yet again.

Sagat will land firmly on the ground. He's broken a sweat. There may be a couple of swollen sections on his arms and legs, but he's still in decent shape. He regards the fallen Maki and provides her with a nod, "An interesting and entertaining bout for those observing, no doubt." He pauses and says to her, "You fought admirably. You should count this as a victory for your experience and your training. I look forward to facing you again when you are stronger." He will turn away from Maki and head for the ropes.
Maki hears what he has to say but can't say anything, as she's lying on the canvas dazed and battered from the fight. One of the officials rushes over to check on Maki to make sure she's still conscious and not seriously injured, and then signals for the end of the fight, at which point the bell rings again.
"Ladies and gentlemen, the winner of this fight by knockout is Sagat!" At that, a mixture of cheering and some booing (there are a few who don't like him, so what?) can be heard. Meanwhile, several officials and medical staff attend to Maki, helping her out of the ring and administering first aid.
