Geese - Masters Combat: Ken's Revenge.

Description: Ken's Revenge: The Sequel?! You've never seen such grueling action!!

Geese waltzes with Elisabeth.

Billy glowers in a corner.

Geese and Ken share one thing in common. They both like power. Geese gets his by shady dealings and a ruthless business mindset. Ken gets his through family connections and a lot of luck when it comes to choosing the stocks. Their love of power brings them into a bizarre relationship of necessity and hate, something that is common in the savage world of politics and economics.

That said, the reason why they are both are here tonight is simple. Ken wanted to fight Geese, and offered him thirty percent of the cut if he can. Ken told him to bring his boys, and Ken would bring some people to make it interesting as well. Ken's scouts are always good for finding people.

So, that thought in mind, Ken stands at the forest side of the arena with the rest of his team, just waiting for Geese to show up. The announcer struggles to have his voice above those of the crowd as he talks about those with Ken tonight, as the promise of Ken v. Geese is sure to cause even the most causal tournament fighting fan to tune in or pay the insane money needed to get a ticket here tonight.

'His boys'. Geese just brings one ally, his 'bodyguard' and chief compatriot in terms of battlefield prowess: Billy Kane. Ken may have seen what they did to -four- remarkable fighters on SNF. THAT'S RIGHT. Still, in the end, they lost... or did Geese help out a bit by utterly obliterating Billy in the bottom of the ninth? Nothing personal, showmanship is king on a show like SNF, and Howard's not above 'playing' the villain for impact. Tonight, though, he's just calm and looks rather amused, a relaxed expression on his sternly chiseled features as he enters the arena, leaping to stand on one of the artificial stones in the equally artificial wading pond, a bit of a smile on his face.
He's looking forward to seeing what kind of opposition Ken can pull together... if he's smart, it'll be Ryu. But Ken isn't smart, is he? Geese just watches for the blonde battler, and for the moment, considers him intently. Wordlessly.

Finding skilled fighters probably isn't very hard for Ken's people. They can just spin the rolodex at random and pull out a few names. One person easily on call for a good time is Edmund Honda, the massive mountain of sumo strength that pretty much anybody could spot in a crowd of people. Just listen for the jolly laughter and watch for the man who looms over everybody else when he's standing upright.

Rubbing his thumb against the side of his nose, the sumo wrestler glances down at Ken momentarily before he shifts his weight to lean against whatever support is the most convenient. He takes a sip from a large bottle of water before he mutters, "Are you sure they're going to show up?" Sure enough, the question is answered soon enough by the arrival, and the large man's grin spreads even wider. "HA! Looks like we'll get to put on a show after all!" The large man tosses back the rest of the water and wipes his mouth on the side of his arm. The bottle gets tossed over his shoulder, and then Honda claps his hands together. "Hope I'm not disappointed. Hey, Ken. If one of us falls before the other, they have to buy the drinks afterward, eh?"

Geese says, "Oh Ken's totally buying."

Oh, that was a bad day for Billy Kane the last time he fought with his longtime ally. Today, there's absolutely no intent to reenact such a failure. Meandering out alongside Geese within his traditional blue leather and no shirt, the bandana'd figure has his staff held across his shoulders and a smirk already creasing his features. The hordes of fans are somewhat irrelevant, even if the Billy crowd was empowered by his showing against Athena. Crouching down at the edge of the pool, a simple hop takes him upon a stone adjacent to Geese, landing deftly in a crouch before rising with a twirl of his crimson weapon. "I'm not interested in playing around..." Billy states sidelong towards the other man. "You take Ken. I'll break the chaff. ...Unless you wanna remove him first?" None of the others are likely to hear this, especially given it's genuine advice. Billy's in a violent mood today, and he's got something to prove!

Somehow, Elisabeth Blanctorche got dragged into all of this.

Whatever feud or dislike lingers between the likes of Ken Masters and Geese Howard is none of her business, nor does she particularly care. There is, however, certain interest in this peculiar gathering of fighters, especially after seeing first-hand the talents of the powerful owner of Howard Enterprises. He and his lackey were not to be taken lightly, their talents particularly fearsome.

She is the last to arrive on the scene, the woman's posture rigid and gait elegant as she steps into the wide, open area of the famous Red Arena. Unlike other arenas she's seen so far in her stay here in Southtown, this is indeed a work of art in comparison. Her eyes wander as she steps forward, catching a glimpse of the various terrain before dark blue depths look ahead, toward the small gathering of men.

Elisabeth's approach draws her near Ken Masters and the famous sumo, Edmund Honda. She says nothing immediately to either; instead she looks at them, potentially sizing either fighter and newfound, albeit temporary, teammates. Thin lips pull into a tight line across her soft face. She seems pensive.

"Bonsoir," she says, offering greeting to either fighter before she softly tips her head. "The invitation was unexpected, monsieur Masters." Especially since she has never met the famous fighter. "But I graciously accept." Exhaling softly, the heiress looks up, her gaze shifting toward Billy and Geese. Rolling her shoulders softly, the woman adds, "Bonne chance." They just might need it.

To be honest, Ken really wished that Ryu was around. Not only would that make it so that this fight brought in more money that most tourneys combined, but he would much rather have Ryu around as his loyal sidekick, good for taking a pounding from people like Geese. But Ryu is rather fickle... Some days he stays around an area for weeks, other times he vanishes for months at a time, making it hard for even Ken to find him. Still, finding reliable allies is something Ken can do as well, as there are many fighters that Ken would be happy to fight with and vise visa.

Looking to Honda, the blond warrior gives a grin. "It's a deal, Honda. Give them your best." As he looks over toward Geese and Billy, he knows this is going to be one hell of a fight. Still Ken has another ally. "I was hoping to see you in action, Elizabeth... I am eager to see just exactly what you can do. If you and Honda can deal with Captain Pole Dance, I'll do what I can to take down Geese." Ken isn't claiming that he'll wipe the floor with Geese. This should be a red flag to those that know Ken Masters, as his confidence is perhaps even greater than his skill. While Ken might be cocky, Ken is realistic. He knows he's the underdog, but he doesn't care. He WILL learn how to defeat Geese somehow, because one day, Ken has the nagging feeling his life depend on it.

Looking toward Geese, Ken calls out with his usual proud voice, "Glad you could make it, Howie! When you are ready to get your ass beat, come start us off!"

Hahah. Ah Ken. When it comes to flippant, televised smack, Ken Masters is one of the world's foremost experts. Captain Pole Dance. That's just great. Geese smirks sidelong at Billy, pausing to synchronize with his rather dangerous teammate, "Let's trade off." Geese responds, more audibly, to Billy's tactical consideration, "I don't want you to have all the challenge, after all." Score one for the Syndicate boss. Ken. Hmph. Geese just eyes the rival network CEO evenly, challengingly, sparing time to offer a nod to E.Honda, and conduct a slightly more lingering study of Elisabeth. This strange woman. Again.
This one veritably smells of power and purpose, a fragrance Geese knows well. Ken has talent, and strength, but he doesn't have that... extra fire, that hunger that his rival Ansatsuken master possesses, or even this Frenchwoman exudes. But that still makes the accomplished Mr. Masters a fine target for Geese, who seeks to cross the battlefield in a sudden, lunging elbow rush that -almost- comes as quickly as he launches himself off his mid-pool perch, across the grassy span, and in at Ken. It's blurring to onlookers, but Masters is faster than a speeding bullet, right? Nonetheless, Geese seeks to ravage Ken's ribs with a potent elbow thrust, and twist about, his goal the planting of a clawed palm to the side of Ken's skull and slamming the blonde battler down, after collision with a rising right knee. Brutal, if it goes according to plan.

"Did... did he just say what I think he said?" Billy comments towards Geese, jaw slightly agape and eyes widened a rather large amount. Shaking his head in a somewhat exasperated manner, Billy cracks his neck to either side. So Geese still wants to have fun! Well, that's not really something that can be argued with. Something about public displays muffles the cold, methodical slaughter of the man. Which is, by all accounts, a comparatively good aspect Kane can only reckon. But sometime, before the end of this fight, he's gonna sock Ken in the balls. Mark his words.
"Hrrrmph. Hey, you!" Billy suddenly raises a hand in Elisabeth's direction, recognizing her with a rather amused smirk. "Maybe we'll get to have some fun after all this time... Trust me, I won't neglect a lady twice in a row." E.Honda is... glanced over. How a man of such girth can be GLANCED OVER is questionable, but it might be insulting. King Sumo is like King Little League in the former King of Fighter's mind.
So he begins the arduous task of Syndicate ass-kicking by rushing forward as well, planting his staff upon the ground and flicking himself high into the air. Soaring over Geese, he shifts the grip of his staff to the base and then suddenly flicks it out, the three sections lengthening upon the chain to a remarkable distance in Elisabeth's direction, attempting to not only impact her in the gut but ignite a gout of flame thereafter, seeking to consume and blow her backwards for the effort.

The sumo wrestler glances at Elisabeth as she greets him and Ken. French? Hm. Fortunately, Honda reads those tiny travel 'how to say phrases' books so he can get by in foreign locales. "Bonjour." And then the fight begins. "Bon courage."

"Pole dancer, huh?" Honda returns the brief nod to Geese, having heard (if not seen) his exploits, and can fully respect that. Honda might not have the same 'scent' that Geese recognizes, but to expect a man set to prove that sumo techniques can be as powerful as any other to simply stand aside and let Billy fight Elisabeth without experiencing interference (not that he'd allow a lady to simply get pounded upon anyway, naturally).

Honda glances over at one of the trees nearby, and takes a hold of one for a moment. "Well, if he gets to wave around a giant stick, I guess I should probably join the fun!" Pulling for a moment, Honda pulls the tree up by the roots, takes a few steps forward to give it momentum, and then calls out "Hey, Compensation Lad!" And that's when the sumo wrestler chucks it like a javelin right at Geese's right-hand man.

Ken's compliment earns him a soft nod of her head, fair features still as expressionless as ever. A woman of few words at the moment, Elisabeth's gaze instead turns onto the pair that stands before herself and her newfound teammates. "Merci," she ultimately replies to both, lips daring to twitch into some form of a smile. Her attention isn't on anyone, save for the imposing likes of Geese Howard. His studious gaze is met with a hardened gaze, the woman's lips pulled in a thin line. Strange woman? He's just as strange himself...

But no matter. Humor seems lost on Elisabeth, even if Billy appears to be the butt of the joke here. Instead blue eyes stir, shifting from Geese to Billy as he barks at her, waving his hand. "Is that so, monsieur?" she asks, tilting her head ever so softly to one side. The look given is one that seems less than impressed, more so as he rushes at her. Wielding chi against her? The woman shifts her feet beneath her, shoulders squaring as she simply holds her ground, standing against the gout.

When it subsides the woman simply shakes her arms before she goes about adjusting her sleeves. Her attention is, however, focused intently on the dangerous duo.

COMBATSYS: Elisabeth focuses on her next action.

Ken will fight. Ken will do his best. Ken will wi-WHAMWHAM. And with that, Ken's on the ground. There is just a silence as people think that Geese just took out Ken Masters in one hit. Thankfully, people weren't around when Ken was taken out by Vega in two, but well, that was then, this is now. And right now, Ken still plans on winning. Ken pushes off the ground with the start, just racing toward Geese to try and grab him by his massive neck. Should he get Geese off balance, Ken will pull back to get him off his feet and onto Ken's foot, which will be used to throw Geese toward the water.

Geese will likely be happy either way, since Ken's nose is looking rather bad off, covered in blood and sand. Hopefully, that just means a rough start rather than a prediction of how the rest of the match will go. Hopefully, Elisabeth and Honda will be having better luck on THEIR fight.

COMBATSYS: Geese fails to counter Jigoku-guruma from Ken with Chuudan Atemi Nage.

Oh, Ken definitely does go down -hard-. The crack of skull off knee is quite resounding, and Geese just stands his ground as Masters recovers, and retaliates. His own hand moves to interfere in the grapple, but Masters gains the edge this time. His footing dislodged, Howard is thrown and flipped, landing rather hard in a splashing crouch near the edge of the Ken-made pool. His deep crimson hakama darken with the water, but Geese just smiles, and pushes back to his feet. The audience gasps, Ken might take notice, because Howard definitely looks better for the exchange than poor masters.
Geese? Geese just takes a moment to step back to the 'beach', and call out, "See what I mean about this 'champion', Billy?" So, what's better than beating Ken up on his own TV show? Maybe Geese can humiliate him on his own dime, too.

"You better shut up, fat man." Billy snaps in E.Honda's direction, apparently not near believing that the majority of such mass is for purely combative reasons. When hefting doughnuts to your mouth is involved in tri-daily regiments, then a man's got problems. Elisabeth seems content enough to tend to her proverbial wounds, and Geese appears to have already staggered Ken to an incredible level with only his casual introduction. When the tree is hurtling in his direction, Billy quickly shifts to the side and avoids it cleanly, sliding a foot across the ground. "...Tch. Ken's barely the Champion of anything." Regardless of this barb, it looks like Elisabeth is going to have to play second fiddle again, as E.Honda's earned himself a significant beating. Billy thusly begins to twirl his staff, ignorant of his boss' plight with Ken back on the offensive. Air and sparks of flame whirl around Billy Kane, a raising octave yell boiling from the base of his chest. "Haaaaaaaa!!"

COMBATSYS: Billy gathers his will.

Billy probably shouldn't be quick to cast stones, what with the belief that once four o'clock rolls around, he'll have to stop for tea. But Honda lets his actions do the talking instead of wasting words on the ignorant, and simply takes a few steps forward, cracking his knuckles. "Getting serious, huh? Well, let's see what you can do with that toothpick you're swinging around."

Honda braces himself for a moment, and then rushes forward, much faster than a man that size should be able to under normal conditions. A hand reaches out to grab hold of the staff to stop it spinning, then his other hand darts to grab hold of Billy's arm. Should it all go as planned, Honda'll twist Billy around while still moving, and then chuck the Brit over the wrestler's mass to slam him on his back.

Geese is a hard man to wear down, but when you are a ninja-type like Ken, that's pretty much the only choice you got. He knows the moves he can use to put on the hurt, but they have to be used right or else the fight will end rather swiftly for Ken. This is not the time, though Ken is grateful that he was just fast enough to avoid a painful counter. Geese is good at those... A little too good for Ken's liking. Instead of charging forward again though, Ken puts his palms together, channeling some chi between them. Best to work to keep Geese on his toes, try to wait for the right time to strike when he doesn't think Geese is expecting it. "Hadouken!" he cries out as he lets a powerful blast of blue go for the powerful crime lord.

The resounding CRACK of Ken's skull earns Elisabeth's attention, dark eyes flickering aside to observe the pair. It is very likely painful, and a part of her is glad that she avoided such an awful fate the last she stood against the likes of Geese. Exhaling softly, the woman shakes her head lightly before she focuses her attentions back onto the trusted, albeit loud, colleague of Howard.

Rather than pay much if any attention to what slips out of the Brit's mouth, the heiress instead draws her eyes to a close and sighs. Formulating a plan, the woman's gears are turning as she stands there, ever so patient. But when nothing comes her way, well...it's time to attack.

Dashing forward, the woman lifts a hand from her side, resting it on the braided leather hilt of her riding crop. It's drawn from her side in a fluid motion and, as she closes in on Billy, thrusts it forward. Points of bright white light erupt from its tip, blazing right for Billy. "HAH!"

Geese chuckles lightly... he was expecting this energy onslaught from Ken, but it comes in fast enough to make that irrelevant. Splashing in a brilliant blue-white wave across Howard's chest, the Hadouken staggers the crimelord back several paces, his tightly wrapped feet slipping across the sand of the 'beach'. The impact is shrugged off in a similar manner to the previous toss, however. Perhaps more impressively, as Geese simply draws himself back up to his full height... and pauses a moment to laugh at Ken Masters a bit longer.
It's a low, amused chuckle, like Ken's efforts so far are little more than funny to Geese, "You barely make it worthwhile to play these games, Masters. How's the head?" Geese just stands his ground. Ken remembers what happened last time, and Howard has an image to maintain. Billy should be able to deal with his adversaries, but either way... Geese doesn't intend to leave Ken in good enough shape to be a problem, does he?

Indeed, E.Honda manages to grip Billy's shaft rather tightly and stop it from spinning, similarly grasping his arm in the same motion. Yet the attempt to heft him up fails as Billy grunts and leans in the opposite direction -- someone maybe a third the weight of the sumo wrestler shouldn't be able to manage, but he does. His free arm interposes before the flash of light, which dissipates while cutting the leather -- and exposing an uncut forearm, not managing to quite wound him. "Get off me, lardass!!" Billy snarls, wrenching his staff free and driving E.Honda backwards. Nobody takes his stick, damnit. Although he shifts his eyes towards Elisabeth a moment, with a wink, it's still E.Honda who receives the brunt of his loving attention as he suddenly rushes forward. And jabs out the weapon, trying to impact Honda in the throat and lift him up. While cackling, and thoroughly strangling him. "C'mon... Thought Ken was gonna give me more to play with then a punching bag...!" If the motion succeeds he'd then slam E.Honda into the ground, likely with painful consequences!

Hmm, for a small man, Billy seems to be rather tough! Honda's eyebrow raises as Billy slips from his grasp, and barely moves back from the shove. However, that jab to the throat? Yeah, that would hurt no matter who you are, though Honda, to his credit, takes it like a champ. Barely a sound emerges from the sumo wrestler's throat as the attack continues for a moment, and while Honda isn't really one to be casually tossed about like a rag doll, it /does/ cause him to stumble back for a moment afterwards, rubbing his neck.

"Not bad, little man. But that anger's going to make you sloppy." That's right, somehow, despite it all, Honda's still got that confident grin on his face. "If you aren't going to act like a professional, then don't waste my time!" And Honda's on the move again. This time, he's once again reaching to grab hold of Billy, this time by throat, and will just /shove/ the smaller man downward towards the ground.

The energies from the tip of her crop land, but it seems to have little effect on the likes of Billy; while his garments may be torn a touch, there is little worthwhile damage imposed upon his being. Lips pull into the faintest frown on her soft lips, thin black brows knitting softly before she simply plants a foot and pushes back, placing distance between herself and Billy, as well as Honda. The man is massive; she wouldn't want to get caught up in the midst of his attack at Billy.

With distance now gained, the woman does nothing immediately; her gaze shifts toward Geese and Ken before it slides back onto Billy and Honda as the two engage in combat. Elisabeth Blanctorche, however, stands her ground, simply catching her breath for a moment.

COMBATSYS: Elisabeth gains composure.

That ball of chi hit! Ken's happy about that too. While his teammates are getting creamed, he just hopes that they will be able to hold their own for just a bit longer. This fight is going to be close, and the fact that Billy might be fighting him after his bout with Geese doesn't make it any better. Still, Lady Luck is still a factor, and who knows, maybe she'll smile on Ken once more this fight. Putting his hands together again, Ken tries to use another fireball. "Hadouken!" Geese will have to see this one coming, but again, it's something that will hopefully keep Geese on the defensive for just awhile longer. With all these fireballs, you'd think that Ken would get have one's like Ryu's. But Ken uses his differently than his long-time friend. Ryu uses them as a long range offensive. Ken uses them as a long range hassle. Hopefully, they will hassle their way to Ken's victory.

Once more, Geese tries to sidestep around Ken's Hadouken... and once more the searing splash of fireball collision blasts through his guard. This is starting to get a bit aggravating. Geese pulls his white gi shirt closed once more, tightens his belt, and hmfts quietly to himself, glaring up at Ken. He's not near being taken off his footing, just a few more staggered paces, but he's done playing that game. In a flash Howard moves forward, charging in.
Ken may want to harass Geese at range, but in an instant Geese is right in Ken's face, looking to drive a leading, forward elbow around and into Masters' mouth. If that goes off as planned, well, Howard would definitely smile again. Despite the stinging Hadoukens, this is going rather well, and Billy is giving Ken's 'cavalry' quite the time. While Geese himself occupies their illustrious host, "HAaaaaAAH!!!"

Rather brutally shoved, Billy hits the ground and skids about a meter away. Of course it doesn't seem to be particularly damaging, and he merely pushes himself back to his feet with grit teeth. Wait, that did skin his elbow a bit where Elisabeth tore his jacket. What a bully. "Why do I need to be professional when I'm dealing with someone like you?!" With that Billy rushes -- backwards, suddenly putting a significant distance between himself and E.Honda, before whirling around and unleashing a vicious backswing of his long weapon, utilizing the maximum range. The intent is to strike the large man in the shoulder and floor him, as the amount of inertia within the tip of the weapon is considerably more then might be expected. Geese seems to be weathering the storm known as Ken, more then anything... If he doesn't turn it around, Billy might have to shift his focus at least long enough to get the ball moving again.

CRACK.

If anything was going to distract people from the Geese and Ken fight, it was likely that, right there. At first, it seems like Honda might be a fool for simply continuing forward when Billy hops back and starts to swing around. However, when the staff impacts, the resounding crack would likely put a major league baseball player to shame. The scary part is, Honda isn't even budged much at all, and even leans -in- to the attack, his stride barely pausing.

The sumo wrestler suddenly picks up some pace, and his grin gets a bit wider. As his hand reaches out to palm Billy's head, he suddenly shifts his weight. Whatever plan he has in mind, it seems to be completely based on whether this grab takes place...

For the moment, one would very well assume Elisabeth is but a spectator caught up in the midst of a brawl most impressive. Dark eyes flicker between both sets; first upon Billy and his newfound Sumo friend, then upon the two men of notable standing as they exchange fierce blows. Between the five, she is simply THERE, as silent as ever, much to the dismay of the spectators in the stands. Is she going to do anything at all?

Of course she is.

Again the woman pushes off with her back foot, charging forward as Honda makes his move at Geese's trusted man. Rather than approach directly she changes tactics; rushing past, the woman attempts to manuever behind the Brit before she unsheathes that black crop from her hip. Held aloft, her arm swings down swiftly, to leave a lasting mark on whatever of Billy its leather tip can bite into.

Well, apparently the strike from Elisabeth is enough to keep Billy busy in time for Honda's palm to meet Billy's face! The sumo simply pauses for a moment before saying, "This is why. DU!" Honda's body twists, and lifts Billy up to SLAM him down on the ground hard enough to make him bounce up. Much like an NBA player with a ball, Honda doesn't break pace, and takes hold of Billy again as he rises up, and Honda JUMPS, like a sumo has never jumped before, spinning Billy around once to gain some speed, and then IMPACTS, putting his weight down on the opponent as the smaller man lands first. "SU!" And then Honda twists one more time, flinging Billy off to the side to impact a wall. "KOIIIIII!!!!!"

Well, as expected, Geese is forced to move through the fireballs rather than around them. That part is going according to plan. Of course, there needs to be a second part of the plan, the part where Geese finally wises up and charges for Ken. The powerful man moves in quickly, but Ken's forearm is able to absorb the beefy attack. He looks over toward Honda and Elisabeth, getting ready to give them some pointers when... Well, looks like Honda has it covered. He's pleasantly surprised and encouraged... After all, if Honda can pull that off despite Billy's speed and power, then he can do the same to Geese. Geese is faster than Billy, but Ken is a lot faster than Honda. That thought in mind, Ken tries to grab Geese again, this time rolling about twice before throwing him into the water rather than just once.

Hah. Looks like Ken has some fight left in him. Geese isn't surprised... he remembers what happened last time, -despite- the beating Masters took, right at the end there. But he's not about to give Ken time to gear up for any kind of further assault, and as his leading elbow crashes hard into Ken's guard, Howard cracks one final, entertained chuckle and pushes off, giving him a half-backstep gain on Ken when the blonde battler lunges in. One of the grappling arms is intercepted, Geese's fingers locking over Ken's and twisting, sharply, even as his other palm thrusts out in-line with Ken's midsection.
From that palm, a tremendous, nigh-instant surge of blue-white power erupts in an orb easily half the height of Howard himself. A sphere that fluctuates, blasting outwards, jerking Ken against that painful grip and sending him lurching free, back the way he came, into the dirt of his own little 'forest'.
"Hmph." Geese intones, "Predictable."

The vicious strike into the back of the head only vaults Billy forward, as he sees the laughably slow onslaught of E.Honda. He then suddenly hurls his staff, completely missing the large man -- which takes literal effort. But he slips on a puddle thereafter, mildly distracted. And that's all it takes for E.Honda to get his large hands upon the man, and then begin to apply liberal amounts of pain. After bouncing appropriately, Billy lands face-down and slides away, hissing painfully before finding an incredible weight on his back. Which, after released, has Billy begin to push himself to his feet, now apparently quite unarmed. He wobbles upwards, rubbing blood from his mouth and allowing a smirk towards the larger man. "You're pretty fast for a man of your size." This does happen to be a genuine compliment. "...But you got lucky." Whether this is realized or not is irrelevant. Billy's not out of the fight just yet... And potentially there's more important things to worry about, as well.

Luck? Heh. Poor, Billy. Certainly, luck does play a large part in any fight, but to simply /call/ someone's ability 'luck' is being a rather poor sport. Honda had hopes for Billy, but instead finds himself just shaking his head before looking over to Elisabeth. He gives no wink, no big play on their work together, just simply says a calm "Merci" before returning his attention to the fight at hand. If there's any indication he's focusing on the fight between Geese and Ken, it doesn't show at the moment...but again, that might simply be underestimating the sumo wrestler.

"Well, little man, without that stick, I'm sure you're far from helpless...so don't expect me to simply go easy on you." The sumo wrestler takes a few steps forward, and then crouches as if to brace himself, and then there's a blur around his arm. Then a quick blur around his other arm. Soon, both arms are a wave of open-palm strikes towards Billy, with Honda slowly moving towards him.

Luck would seem to frown upon the cane-wielding fighter tonight. While he attempts to make a solid counter-offense against the impressively agile sumo wrestler, it doesn't seem to end in his favor. As result, he's not only smacked quite thoroughly against the back of his head, but also introduced to a new and likely less-than delightful world of pain, courtesy of Edmund Honda.

When regarded, however, the woman lifts her gaze from the rising Billy toward the man, his words earning him a bow of her head. "Avec plasir," she replies before her attentions briefly stir, toward Geese and Ken. Her lips purse slightly, her expression again thoughtful.

"Hmph," Dark blues return to Billy just as Honda makes his move. Taking cue, the elegant Elisabeth Blanctorche springs into action; again she maneuvers herself past Honda, to slip behind and lift a leg and coils it briefly at her side before she snaps it out, to give Billy an encouraging ‘push' toward Honda's furiously moving palms.

And the gamble fails. Cursing his luck, Ken finds himself on his back, his midsection smoking and looking like it's in bad shape. He struggles to get up this time, to Geese's amusement he's sure. The crowd expects Ken to lose again at this time. Ken's an amazing fighter, but he can't match Geese's power. At least that's what they are thinking. And that's what Ken was thinking. Key word was. Maybe he will lose this fight, but if he doesn't try, doesn't give it his all, he won't ever know. Eliza doesn't love a loser... She loves a winner, even if he doesn't win every single battle. Someone can have the spirit of a winner, even in losing. Someone can have the spirit of a loser, even if they win. It's an odd thing, but Ryu understands it. And, if even for a span of ten seconds, Ken understands that too.

Rising up with his body battered, bloodied, and with various bones cracked, Ken clenches his fist. "If I'm so predictable, then why can I hit you?" As if to prove his point, the American Karate Champ tries to give a quick jab right to Geese's kisser. He doesn't care if the man just shrugs it off, it's the message that Ken wants to give, not the pain. The message?

Ken Masters will never bend to Geese's wishes. He may be broken from time to time, but he will never. Ever. BEND.

Ken has a message? Well, Geese has a message too. And -no one- loves a loser. Not Eliza, not Ken's camera crews, and certainly not Geese. But he has no compunction about encouraging Masters to feel that way, "Can you?" is Howard's only response to the admittedly rhetorical question, as the crimelord simply rights his stance and waits for Ken, almost -too- calm and patient about it. It's not that Geese doesn't take the Ansatsuken expert seriously, but that's certainly how he likes to make it look. Right down to the point that when Ken snaps in with that deadly-fast stinging hit, Howard makes a point to step -into- it, one palm clutching over Ken's coiling fist almost before it can strike, while the other palm thrusts out, open, into Masters' face. One might almost -wish- for a bitchslap with the second, shearing gout of chi that absolutely -ravages- Ken, exploding outwards from Geese's palm in a massive blue-white sphere, the fallout from the blast washing over Masters and once more likely sending him painfully into the dirt, for a reunion tour with PAIN. A low, hearty chuckle comes from Geese's gut, "Oh Ken, your indignance is always so entertaining. If only you could learn to get along!"

What's with Elisabeth and her always hitting Billy?! It's really a rather aggravating turn of events, but right now it's doubtful that the King of Fighters is going to rebound and finish the pair off. Besides, he has a promise to keep to. After being clubbed in the back with a loud SLAP, twin forearms interpose the barrage of slaps, before the bodyguard suddenly yanks out a SECOND staff. Quickly assembling it, he braces on the ground and launches himself... away from the duo, and lands adjacent to Geese. "Alright, these two are becoming a pain... Let's put this dog to sleep, then go to town!!" And with that, Billy suddenly launches out his staff, letting out a loud "HYAAAAH!!" It shoots out at rather vicious speed, bursting into flame in the motion and seperating into two additional sections connected by whirling chain.
...And attempting to peg Ken straight in the nuts. Billy KEEPS TO HIS WORD.

What's this? Dishonor in a fight?! Oh, Billy, now you just went and made the sumo angry. You won't like the sumo when he's angry.

From the looks of things, Ken's on his last leg. And while Honda doesn't like leaving a fight, he more than expects Elisabeth will be able to keep Billy busy while Honda changes gears. Plus, if Ken's about to try to knock that thing out of the air, whatever backlash comes flying back at Billy will likely hurt. Honda don't care who you are.
So, instead, the sumo looks deep within himself to tap whatever hidden wellsprings of power there are, and simply starts charging forward. It's not fast at first, not fast like anybody else in the room, but once the sumo gets momentum, he's like a freight train. It has to be some energy Honda taps into, because his feet simply aren't making the ground shake as much as it should be. Lumbering forward, Honda reaches for Geese to grab him and pull him away from Ken. If it works? It's almost a repeat of what happened to Billy, with one simple slam down, and airborne slam down into the ground, and then Honda simply fully unleashes the fury of the hundred hand slap upon him. If not...it'll be a valiant, but pointless gesture.

Her kick lands true; Elisabeth's heel bites against Billy's backside, he's given a nice little nudge toward the Sumo's meaty palms. His defense proves enough to shrug off a good handful of the attacks sent his way before, quite unexpectedly, the Englishman launches himself after procuring another staff. The woman is left to blink slowly before she sighs, her head shaking softly. Part of her wonders if his zeal will earn him a world of pain, be it from Masters or Geese Howard.

At this point everything seems in disarray. Fighters scatter and reconvene with newfound targets, leaving the heiress of the Blanctorche name briefly puzzled. Regardless, lips purse tightly as she surveys the four ahead of her, likely searching for her next target. Who will it be?

Dashing forward, the woman's hand tense around the crop at her side as she zeroes in on Billy Kane. Planting a foot a few feet before she seals the space between them she withdraws it, points of light forming at the crop's tip as she thrusts it forward, sending three white bursts of light lancing right at his back as he attacks Ken. "HAH!"

Ken would curse as his fist is caught, but there is nothing really to say. The look Geese gets it classic Ken 'tude at it's finest, even when he knows he's lost. However, this fateful glare costs Ken dearly, as the chi is forced into his face swiftly, actually going into his eyes. A loud resounding cry can be heard through the arena.

"EIIIIIERAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH-" Crunch.

Ken can't even express his pain without Billy going in for the final blow, the staff breaking ribs while Ken's on the ground. This all-out assault would kill most... But Ken Masters is not like most.

Slowly, almost like an undead, Ken rises. Tears flow from the very corner of his eyes, the rest too burned and seemingly scabbed or welded shut to let the water come through. Ken doesn't usually cry in a fight, but mind over matter can only get you so far when you eyes are in bad shape. Despite the burns that actually have a bit of blood bleeding down his side, Ken moves forward. Medics are already starting to run onto the field. The camera gets a close in, letting people see all too well Ken's state. Ken is many things, but a quitter, he is not.

With a voice that crackles and lacks the usual powerful undertone, Ken says to Geese, "I expected more out of you. But when it comes to sleezeballs like yourself, I can admit I was wrong to do that." Ken's fist clenches once more, the blood dripping down it starting to dry up from the heat that is building. Ken stumbles, but he catches himself. He can't go down. This power, this rage... It must be expressed. Billy and Geese will tear up Elizabeth and Honda. The least he can do is give them a give. A final farewell to hopefully help them win the match.

With a final charge, he races for the one that had no honor, the lapdog of Howard. If and when he gets close enough, Ken will give a powerful uppercut that takes him into the air, as he does though, a pillar of flames will erupt about him, hopefully surrounding the traitor with powerful flames and taking him out of the action.

Regardless of the result, Ken falls to the ground, where it's hard for breathing to be seen. Looks like Ken is shown to be lesser of a man than Geese for another day.

Well, Geese's intents on finishing Ken off are stolen when Billy decides to mix it up. That's alright with the crimelord, really, particularly when the roiling tub of fat barrels in on Howard. It's not a particularly quick assault... really, Geese doesn't seem worried at all. Until his initial deflection is overcome, and he's hurled, squashed, and slapped silly, beaten backwards into a pained crouch. It's a lot more than Ken managed, and it brings a scowl to Geese's face, "That's where your advantage begins and ends." Geese promises Honda rather dryly as he pushes back to his feet from the sucker.... max-combo. Forget a sucker punch.
There's not much else Howard can manage, as Billy's existance hangs in the balance.... but he's definitely not going to back down in the face of the second show of Sumo savagery.

"Don't take it so personally, Ken." This is almost teasingly mocked. That is, before the man rushes in HIS direction, which incites a disbelieving expression. His staff interposes, but is blown aside before he's sent hurtling into the air, the fist carving a vicious, burning gouge across his chest from chest to shoulder, brutalizing him in a manner worse then even the Raging Storm. Elisabeth also hit him with something but it was pitiful and he barely felt it, especially compared to the man opposite. At the apex, Billy falls, landing within the water with a splash and tainting it immediately crimson. But he manages to get up, slow and lethargic. "Alright..." he hisses. "S,Sorry, Howard... He got in a lucky shot... But--Lemme take out another distraction for ya!!"
And Billy charges straight for E.Honda, snapping out his weapon and arcing it behind him. What seem to be countless additional links and weapons sprout, before what seems to be a veritable stream of chained segments trail behind. And a vicious uppercut is offered, sweeping a broad gouge in the ground and attempting to knock E.Honda into the air like a voluptuous volleyball. Earlier, there was a moment Geese recognized a certain 'fire' burning in Elisabeth. Right now, a different fire burns within E. Honda. One which wants Geese to realize that even though they might not win, cowardly actions will NOT be tolerated on the same battlefield E. Honda stands upon. "Advantage? I need no advantage. I was willing to wait and let your battle finish first, but your peon seemed to think that a coward's shot was the way to go."

The blow from Billy snaps Honda's head back, but just for a moment. The rest of the blows, it would appear, have no more effect on Honda than a spring rain would upon concrete. It seems whatever will the man has is also fixing his feet on the ground. With a slight turn of his neck and a few popping of joints, Honda looks back at Geese. "So...shall we continue this?"
Honda moves forward, once again a momentum-gaining machine, reaching once more for Geese to pick him up, and then slam him down once, twice on the ground, and then bring up a foot to stomp down on the opponent, the sumo wrestler's weight behind it.

In a matter of seconds Ken Masters AND Billy Kane fall, each succumbing to the attacks launched their way. Part of the Frenchwoman finds herself a little surprised by this, but soft features remain relatively neutral and entirely expressionless, save for the faintest knit of her thin black brows. But each felled fighter does not simply go quietly into that good night; quite the opposite, in fact.

Briefly startled as Billy launches one last attack at Honda, the heiress' lips pull into the faintest of frowns, blue eyes watching as the Sumo just takes the hits as if they were nothing. Color her impressed...even if she seems impassive overall about it. One down, one to go. Now the hard part truly begins.

Unlike her teammate, the woman does not rush headlong; instead she watches Geese closely, shoulders squaring as slender digits tighten around the hilt of her sheathed crop. That man could easily turn tides in but seconds. She knows of his strength, but does not know its extent. Thus, rushing in foolishly would likely be a mistake. For now she observes.

"Right. So you rage at me. Self-righteous idiot." Of course, muttering at Honda doesn't make Geese less vulnerable to the assault. He moves to where Billy's last stand was held, relieving the fallen bodyguard of his staff momentarily... and we do mean momentarily. Because before he can catch and deflect -this- lumbering charge either.... he's barreled down and slammed, slammed, and stomped. It's not a pleasant experience, and Howard rolls free with a rather deeper scowl on his face, coming up in a crouch, slowly, a short span away.
It's one step shy of hatred, the look levelled on Honda now. Contained somewhat quickly, but definitely there, "Damn..." Geese grunts... it's really all he can do to -try- to get back to his feet again, after all that. Apparently his game was entirely focused on Ken. And Billy fugged it all up. Damnit Billy.

Honda simply moves forward, much like an unstoppable force. "You don't get it." No further explanation is given, since Honda doesn't really feel like breaking out the slide show, graphs and charts, and don the white lab coat to exude authority. Instead, the wrestler reaches out for Geese one more time, picking him up and holding him for just a moment, before swinging him down like a hammer towards the ground.

Geese and the Sumo champion seem to be locked in combat with one another, trading blows, however lucky Honda seems to be against the fearsome Howard. Again the woman furrows her brows, thin lips pulled thoughtfully across her face. Really, it's difficult to decide a plan of action to take here, when Edmund seems to have control over the situation.
r Things could take a horrible turn, of course.

That's encouragement enough to move her feet. Pushing herself into action, Elisabeth charges forward and maneuvers behind Howard, much like before with Billy. This time, however, she dips low and coils a leg before she executes a kick upwards, to strike Geese in the lower back and hopefully into Honda's loving Sumo embrace.

Gritting his teeth, the rather agonized Geese transitions from raging mode to survival mode. His ice-blue eyes travel analytically from Elisabeth, to Honda, to the crimson stave that fell a few feet away. It's to the last that he moves first, scooping the weapon up and twisting to meet Elisabeth early, an almost wry smirk crossing his features as he sweeps the strike aside with the weapon, which resonates fiercely from the brief impact but holds true to its deflecting course. In the same motion, still crouched, Geese whirls Billy's staff above his head, and then behind his back in an inverting twist that slaps Honda's wrists painfully away. It's an initial deterrent...
... but it becomes a lot more permanent as the staff thrums through the air in a fierce whirl first one direction... to impact Honda's skull on one side... and then back around the other to crack into his head on the other side, a sharp shove offered as Howard finally pushes back to his feet, drawing a deep, slightly less laboured breath.

"Hey!" Billy intones, rather unamused, as Geese snatches his staff. He doesn't really /do/ anything about it, but wobbles a bit before steadying himself upon the ground. Ow. His head. ...And chest. Sumo butts are bad for breathing.

Honda certainly wasn't expecting that! The blows rattle him, and he stumbles back, seeming essentially as dead on his feet as Geese, if not moreso. It must be pure willpower that keeps him from falling, and whatever it is that lets Honda start to move forward again...well, if Billy had a guess, he'd probably assume someone just rang the lunch bell. But no, it's an urge to prove Ken right that drives Honda. Honda glances to Elisabeth and then at Geese, and takes a deep breath. And then...he lunges.

Well, lunge isn't the correct term for a sumo torpedo, really. Honda's almost parallel to the ground as he flies forward to impact against Geese, and if he connects, he lands and pushes off again to repeat the attack and land on his feet. Finally, with what's left of his strength, Honda will step forward, once again going into the classic flurry of open-palm strikes he's so famous for.

Despite the glance Geese casts at the remains of the staff once held by Billy, the woman decides a plan of action best be now or never. Making her move, she weaves easily around, her movements fluid as she crouches behind, her leg tightly coiled, ready to strike. There is no hesitation; a beat and her leg is shot forward, aimed for the man's back. And yet...

...and yet quick thinking and the remains of Billy's staff spare him that blow. Her leg is deflected, but her balance remains absolute; she swings her leg wide, pivoting on the grounded heel before she sets it down with the softest of clicks from her boot's heel. When dark eyes lift as she pivots around to face Geese they catch sight of a vicious blow to Honda's head with an audible crack. The Frenchwoman winces softly, but does little more. Instead she makes her move once more.

Her arm tense, fingers clenched around the hilt of her crop as she again unsheathes it, to execute a fierce one-two swipe at Geese before she pivots once again, attempting to plant her heel against his back once again, to push him away.

Alright... there's one possible escape here, and it involves fancy footwork, and some really quick thinking. Unfortunately, Honda's burning ire at Billy boils over nicely.... and Geese still can't get a bead on the raging sumo. He sidesteps, but the crashing E. Honda is far broader than the initial motion, the mountain of meat colliding with the syndicate boss rather soundly. The hundred-hand slap once more fires its flurry of aggravating and painful hits past Geese's guard, and Elisabeth helps by whipping the HELL out of him from behind with her crop... and then driving her high heels into his spine. Jesus Billy.
This is the -last- time Howard picks up the tab for one of Kane's grudges. Still, he's not going out without a bang, if he has anything to say about it. As he's staggered forward by Elisabeth's nasty kick, both hands grip for Honda's chest, past his meaty manbreasts, and if he can clench his fingers into the oft-immoveable object, he would -hurl- Honda skyward, flipping up at a high velocity.... one which would return to earth just as fast, in time to collide with a positive -maelstrom- of coldly searing energy that erupts from both of Geese's palms, punishing the hopefully dazed sumo to extreme degrees before a final eruption fills the arena with blue-white light and launches Honda away.... TO HIS DOOM, Geese would hope!

COMBATSYS: Geese can no longer fight.

Geese laughs quietly as he falls to a crouch, smirk returning to his face as he turns his gaze back towards Elisabeth, "Looks like we don't get to dance properly yet again, Ms. Blanctorche." Oh, Geese recalls... and he did so want to observe the frenchwoman's style a bit more fully, this time. Ah well... Howard is a patient man. Usually.

Well, THAT certainly stung some! Though, at that point, Honda's not putting up much of an effort to stop the blows. He simply tries to take it as best he can, though when the sumo wrestler lands, it's with a rather resounding -CRASH- once the energy part has its way with him. He'll weakly, oh so weakly roll himself over, and push himself up before he falls backwards into a sitting position. "...Well...I guess that's a good show, then!" There's that smile again, even as Honda's head dips as he struggles to hold onto consciousness. Just to hear the crowd go wild.

COMBATSYS: E.Honda takes no action.

All the while, as Geese gets soundly struck from both remaining fighters, Elisabeth maintains an elegant calm. Her crop rises and falls with a harsh but fluid motion before she pivots and plants her heel something fierce at his backside. It's nothing personal, of course. She holds nothing against the last remaining fighter of Howard's team. It's a fight, and it would be an insult to everyone involved if she held herself back.

Unfortunately, their coordinated attack on Geese doesn't seem to end in Honda's favor. In fact, he seems to incur the wrath of Howard as those hands of his grab hold and send him flying high above, much to the surprise of the Frenchwoman and all spectators around. Who knew a man of Honda's weight could be launched so very high? Fortunately Elisabeth has wits enough to leap back and avoid any potential repercussions that staying close to the fray would otherwise have. Then the Sumo wrestler is launched away with what would almost appear to be minimal effort.

Blue depths stir as she is spoken to, her expression vague as she simply gazes. "Qui?" she asks, mildly bemused before she simply draws her eyes shut, the tiniest of grins haunting her soft lips. "Ah. Quel dommage. Perhaps another time then, monsieur Howard?" With that the noblewoman about faces and makes her way to the exit from whence she came, somehow coming out of this manfest without hardly a scratch.

COMBATSYS: Elisabeth has ended the fight here.
