Leaguefightmania is running wild again! And tonights match takes place in an area that's all but too familiar to a certain Heavenly Hip-Hop Honey of Southtown.
The Duck Pond is a bumpin and jumpin club, and tonight is certainly no exception, it's extremely busy because it's Wednesday, the hottest day for the Pond! The semi-dimly-lit club has been cleared out so that there's plenty of room on the dance floor that doubles as a fighting ring, the multi-lit floor flashing like crazy, the camera crew is all set up, and the crowd is rowdy!
The first introduced contestant is the fan favorite clearly, because she's actually an employee of the Duck Pond, Li Xiangfei! That isn't why she arranged for the battle to take place here though, it's more of a publicity stunt. Currently dressed in her chinese ensamble of white pants and red top, the kung-fu fighter eagerly awaits for her opponent who she believes will be out of her element. Mary always did seem a little reserved in her eyes.

Mary does feel a little out of place -- Dancing club? Huh, that's definately not Mary's environment. Been a good ten years since she's been to such places herself. If this place had a comfortable little bar and had some Blues going on, maybe she'd wander by but she's never heard the name and now that she's here... She can feel that youthful spirit in the air. The colored lights, the dancing floor, everything. Thankfully, the music is toned down a bit so that both Xiangfei and Mary can have their fight...
Making her way through without her leatherjack, Mary arches a brow and she glances about, "Huh... Sure feels weird..." Her eyes return over to Xiangfei and Mary says, "Seems like you're the crowd's favorite, odds are against me," She says as she lifts her hand up to rub her nose a little. After all, all of the cheers are going for Xiangfei, the resident maid, is it?
The woman gives a half-hearted shrug and she says, "Well then, girl..." Mary says as she slowly sets herself in her combat stance, eyes narrowing and lips curling into a smile, "It's time that you and I dance together," She says -- almost seems appropriate seeing how they're on a dance floor.
".. Girl?" Xiangfei gives a bit of a nervous grin, and shrugs a little in return to Mary.. And in all actuality, Marys mere presence gets her cheers of her own. Not well known, no, but she's got the look! "Er, Xiangfei is fine, you know," she had nothing against Mary, in fact, she liked her a lot! But not quite close enough to spout out nicknames, "This is a pretty good chance, I always wanted to see you in action, so lets give it our all! I wonder if you can catch up to my moves, heh heh." she slaps her hands togeather and fans her fingertips out. And then with a sudden jerk, pushing her palms outward, "HaaAAaaaaa!!" a golden pillar of chi roars into existance, Xiangfei grinning wildly as it swirls and twists about her form, growing brighter and brighter!

Mary hums softly and she arches a brow, a little surprised at Xiangfei's reaction, "Huh?" Mary asks. She blinks a bit and she lets a soft chuckle escape her throat, "Oh, ahahah," Her smile widens a little and she lets her tongue out to moisten her lips, "Getting uncomfortable when I call you that? Alright, Xiangfei," Mary says, seeming a little amused -- it wasn't meant as a nickname, just a way she calls other women, especially her fresh acquaintances. "Right then, I'll give you my best and we'll see who'll be leading the dance," Mary says with a nod.
Her gaze lifts up toward Xiangfei as she begins her incantation to summon up her chi and the blonde woman doesn't seem to want to allow Xiangfei too much time to power-up like this. The woman dashes straight toward Xiangfei and as soon as she gets close enough, Blue Mary lets out a loud shout and she actually lifts her right leg right up going for a powerful high kick aimed right for Xiangfei's face.

A pretty good strategy on Marys part, however Xiangfei has other things planned out. Defending herself is one of those plans! Cheeks redenning a bit though, she has time to reply, "W.. Well not exactly," Mary's kick connects, but they slam into the very palms she had extended, hopping upward and using the momentum to get a little more air, "G'ah!"
She shakes her hands out, boy, she's going to feel -that- one later. However on the way down, she spins around and lashes her foot out, intending to slam her heel down on Marys shoulder, "WwwATCHAH!"

"Don't worry, I can understand that," Mary says stoically as she regains her balance after Xiangfei manages to push away her kick. Mary groans a little and she takes a step back, lifting her hands up to actually catch the incoming foot, literally. Mary's lips curl into a smile and it seems that Xiangfei's not the only one who has plans. "Waaaah!" Mary shouts herself, pulling on Xiangfei's leg and spinning her around slightly so she loses her balance and falls face first on the ground.
Alas! Xiangfei doesn't have the time to get back on her feet as Mary leaps on Xiangfei's back, straddling her and reaching out for her face with both arms. She then pulls backward and forces Xiangfei's back to arch back painfully, "So... Xiangfei it is then... I'll let your... Alma take care of the nicknames..." And after those few words and probably a sore back, Mary lets go of Xiangfei and she gets back on her feet.
"W- Aw crap!" Xiangfei indeed lands most ungracefully onto the floor, legs kicking up as she slides a bit, then yelps in pain from the lock Mary applies afterward. Were she not in so much -pain-, she probably would be amused by the fact that the situation isn't unlike something she'd see in wrasslin'. No ropes to reach for though!
Once released she rolls away, groaning as she rubs her back, ".. Well, that was unexpected," she replies with a weak grin, though her cheeks redden again, "W.. Waoh now wait a minute, it ain't like that either!" she sprints forward again, and with a jump, reaches out with her feet to try and catch Marys neck- And if she's lucky enough to get that hold, starts to twirl around and around until she gets enough momentum to twist and slam Mary onto the ground, "Hiyaaah!"

Here comes Xiangfei -- for some reason, Mary doesn't even bother to defend herself or move out of the way. She simply allows Xiangfei to get a hold of her neck and she positions right for what will come next. For Xiangfei, it might appear as if she gets a solid hit on Mary and manages to slam her down to the ground -- however, her arms and legs are positioned just right for the rest to come. It's apparent on Mary's face, that wry smile on her face, "Heh, if you say so, I got to see him, he's cute," Mary says.
And now she applies her evil plan! Her legs work on tripping Xiangfei and quickly flipping her over and slamming her down to the ground, all the while she holds into her arm, which one twists a little in the process of the fall... And then Mary wraps her legs around Xiangfei's arm and she forces it to twist and bend even further, enough to make Xiangfei's joints in her arm hurts a lot.

It definatly looks like Mary is the woman with the master plan today, isn't she? Xiangfei definatly looks a little confident when she manages her acrobatic throw, but she didn't think Mary would recover so quickly!
Xiangfei isn't bad in dealing with throws and holds really, but Mary was taking it to another level, there's just no way she can turn the hold Mary puts her in into her favor, and with another yelp, slams her free arm on the ground. She's tapping out! Tap! Tap! "YEEOW!!" P.S. Not fun. Reeling once again from the pain, and breaking into a sweat, she does the first thing that comes to mind, try to break free by pushing herself into the air off of her shoulders (wow!) and shifts her momentum to try and stomp on Marys neckline, "Kiyaah!"

Mary's at least nice enough to let go of Xiangfei when she taps on the ground and begs to for her to let go. Blue Mary lets go and she rolls out of the way, quickly rising up to her feet. However, she's not fast enough it would seem as Xiangfei's kick lands right on her neckline and causes her to stagger back a couple of steps. She groans a bit in pain and chokes a bit, lifting her hand up to rub her neckline.
"Sorry about that, guess I'm not going easy on ya, eh?" She admits, her lips curl into a wide smile before she dashes toward Xiangfei and attempts to perform a takedown, running headfirst into her to tackle her and slam her down to the ground.

Well the first sign that Xiangfeis mind is starting to wander, is when she doesn't immedietly respond to Marys comment about Alma. She had to agree though, he is cute, and he's very poetic! But the pain stinging inside her is making it difficult to keep up conversation too much, "H.. Heh, just the way I like it," Xiangfei huffs back, a slight slouch in her stance as she gets to her feet again, and she stomps forward, holding out her arms as Mary charges at her- What is she up to?? We'll never know, because she's abruptly crashing onto her back, slamming once more against the dancefloor and slides a little along the plastic lights, her breath for a moment completely knocked out of her, "Oh man.." she groans, holding her stomach as she shakily sits up, "You're.. *wheeze* No joke.."
She needs a different plan, because this just isn't working. She manages to find the strength to squirm back and clap her hands again, then thrusts her palms outward with a breathy, "HAH!" And a semi-circle of chi blasts from said palms, the blue and white energy bursting forward and hopefully will get Mary off her back for a moment!

Mary straightens herself up after she takes down Xiangfei and she folds her arms in front of her chest, glancing down at Xiangfei, allowing her to take her breath back a little. This is after all, a more or less friendly fight, no? Even if it is for league points and a competition, Mary doesn't seem to use the opportunity to hit Xiangfei while she's down and keep her down. "Glad you like it rough," Mary says, "I'm not going to play easy to get, though since you wanted to see what I could do, guess that's exactly it," Mary admits with a nod.
The blonde woman arches a brow as Xiangfei gets her hands together and summons up chi. This definately doesn't look good for her. She hates energy projectile like this. Time not to get hit! Mary kneels slightly and she jumps up in the air, right over the incoming blue and white ball of chi. Where did she go? Well she's diving right back at Xiangfei, "Kyaaa!" She shouts as she dives right back down at Xiangfei and attempts to tumble down on her rather roughly it would seem... Aerial sort of tackle but there's more to it as well if Xiangfei's not careful..

Well there is a shining moment in every one of Xiangfeis fights, and it's about time she reached hers too! However, the Heavenly Hip-Hop Honey gives Mary the most confused expression she can muster, her fingertips wriggling a bit as she smiles nervously, (.. Wh.. I.. Is she hitting on me?) ".. Eh-heh heh.."
Anyway Mary was there, then she wasn't! It would seem she was easy pickings for Marys drop, both women crashing to the ground, but mid-tumble, the chinese girls eyes widen, and her hands are a blur of motion before jabbing her finger tips along Marys neckline in a way to briefly paralyze her. Ideally having both fighters crouched, her striking hand remains extended, oppose arm windmillnig and glowing brightly with light blue chi, and slaps against her forearm, "HAAAAAAAAAAH!!"
Burst after short burst of chi is pumped right into Mary in rapid succession for what feels like forever! But it does end soon, the final blast the largest of them all that knocks Xiangfei flat on her butt, "KYAAAAAAAAAH!"
After the impact, the two women seem to be struggling to get the upper hand in that rather awkward grapple. Unfortunately for Mary, it seems Xiangfei is the one who gets the upper hand and that strike to her nerves only slow now Mary enough to allow Xiangfei to land quite a serie of successful blows on the blode woman.
Mary is hardly one of those character who can handle and deal with chi all that well. Her arsenal of energy moves is pretty limited or rather, non existant, and all she seems to do is get knocked repeatedly by Xiangfei, letting out a few whimpers out the more chi is pumped into her and then... Bang! Final blast that knocks Xiangfei on her butt and also knocks Mary off a couple of feet as well.
The blonde woman coughs a few times and she chokes. She groans a little and bites her lips, shaking her head a little as she tries to recover her breath a little. Now that was quite a comeback from Xiangfei. And even if Mary could take a few moments to take her breath back, the show must go on! And so, Mary forces herself up to her feet and she strides over toward Xiangfei. If she's not already up by then, Mary tries to force her up, only to give her a quick but powerful punch to Xiangfei's midsection.

Not bad! Breathing still heavy, Xiangfei grins a little. Yep, she's on her feet again, granted Mary doesn't get to her feet not that long after, much to her chagrin, ".. rats," she mumbles to herself, though at least Mary isn't doing anything complicated, a simple palm strike -should- deflect that strike. Maybe she's just getting too tired. Xiangfei doubles-over and leans a bit from the blow, dropping to both her knees as her eyes water. Geez, all these attacks HURT! x.x
It would seem she's down for the count, trembling a bit as she draws both her hands back to her hips.. "Rakansen!" maybe it can't be seen with all the wildly flashing lights, maybe it can, but a glint of silver streaks toward Mary, threatening to crash into her forehead with suprising force! The onlookers all recognize the 500 yen coin technique! But is this it for our heroine?

After that powerful decking punch, Mary's lips curl into a smile and she takes a few steps back, as if to give Xiangfei some room. She expects that punch might be enough to actually force her down to her knees and probably take her out and so... Perhaps a little out of over-confidence, it seems Mary doesn't notice the glimmering coin that has been hurled right for her forehead, and as it hits, Mary groans and winces, staggering a little.
She shakes her head some and she lifts her hand up to her forehead, "Huh, what was that..." She mutters. She groans and takes her breath for a moment, as she looks up to Xiangfei... Still up, huh?

Xiangfei is still standing all right, or at least she's still.. Crouching. However her aura is suddenly roaring to life again, taking a red glow instead of the usual gold when she gets to her feet once more, silently psyching herself up by clenching her hands into fists and pumping them twice. YEAH! "Rakansen," Xiangfei then explains, "A chinese hidden weapon technique. Not too shabby, huh?" She grins broadly, not minding Mary backing off; it gives her a moment to power-up again, palms pressing outward once more, "HAAAAAAAAAH!" and the chi abruptly shifts from red to gold again!

"Definately didn't expect that," She says. Mary frowns a little though. Seems like Xiangfei's ready to want some more even after that. That's definately something she didn't expect from her. Well then, fine, if she has to then, she has no other choice. Mary lowers her gaze and she heaves a faint sigh though, leaning foward a little and getting ready -- if Xiangfei wants to show off her display of chi, Mary might as well try to do the same in her very own way...
And so, the blonde woman rushes straight for Xiangfei and she lunges at her, "Waaah!" She shouts as she goes pass Xiangfei and tries to punch her a few times in the process, making an abrupt turn before she rushes back and goes for a series of kick, and back and forth, going from punches to elbow smack and kneeshots at a pretty incredible speed.

And right after that rather abrupt rush back and forth, Mary leaps up in the air and she gives a powerful kick right under Xiangfei's chin to knock her off her feet and up in the air... But even so she doesn't let go of her! She flails her arms about, smacking Xiangfei twice or thrice in mid-air, only sending her further away and knocking her back even more.
Xiangfei grins a little, of course feeling very proud that Mary is impressed by her attack. .. Uh.. She was impressed, right? Either way, suddenly her opponent is going BLAZING. And even in her defensive position, Xiangfei isn't able to fend off the attacks, and is completely helpless to the assault of kicks and punches. A weak groan of pain follows as she's sailing upward for a moment, takes a few more hits, and then flies back a little further, in fact right off the dance floor and into an occupied table. Hands-on experience! "... I've officially run out of ways to say 'ow'.." the chinese girl grumbles, slouching against the broken furniture, but there is still a glint of fire left in her eyes.
Forcing herself to her feet once more, she holds her hands up in the air, the golden pillar flaring to life again, she calls up all that power toward her hands, "hooOOOOOAAAAA!!" then with a stomp, her palms thrust forward again and not a semi-circle but a large orb of pure-white chi screams toward Mary, it flaring with a bright blue aura of its own! But after, she collapses again, panting heavily. She might be out of this now.

Impressed? Mary definately was. She's not too sure what Xiangfei did to her exactly, but that definately impressed and surprised her. It didn't hurt too much but the fact she never saw it coming impressed her. "Heheh..." Mary mutters as she hears part of the chinese girl's words. She glances up over to the broken furniture... Looks like Xiangfei wants more of it? Well, Mary's hardly one to deny that kind of stuff...
The blone woman's eyes widen a little though as Xiangfei's hands are held up in the air and golden pillars of chi flares up -- it's not an expression of shock that's over Mary's face, but it's a big 'oh no you don't!' sort of expression. She's not going to let her try more of those fire ball flinging things with her, definately not. Mary had her quota of those things, and she'll try to hit her before she can do that.
That expression on her face turns into real actions though as Mary dashes straight toward Xiangfei, "Ahaaaa!!" She shouts as she announces herself, stomping straight toward Xiangfei. She quickly spins around on herself and she takes a high leap, diving and soaring right through the pure white orb of chi, it hurts, but still, it doesn't prevent her from reaching her goal and Mary actually smacks Xiangfei over her head once more, sending her flying backward some. "Vertical Arrow!" She shouts..
And then, right in midair, Mary's leg actually wraps up around Xiangfei's face and she traps her face between her thighs, locking her tightly there, "Kyaaa!" She shouts as she spins up in the air and forces herself and Xiangfei down rather abruptly, slamming her through the debris of the table and right down to the ground. Staying down now, will you!? Well at least, Mary's nice enough not to hold the submission and lock and she lets go of Xiangfei once they hit the ground.

Yikes, of all the things to happen, Xiangfei didn't expect Mary to pull a.. A Xiangfei on her!! Sure, plenty of other people are crazy enough to bust through projectiles, but LiX, the REVOLUTIONIZED it! And she won't let anyone tell her otherwise!
"... Uh oh," is about all she gets to squeak before she finds herself caught between her opponents legs and once more becomes friends with Mr. Floor, and this time, she stays down for good! Xiang groans weakly, the frustration welling up in her body, but she isn't in any condition to project it much further. But, she does comfort herself with the fact it could have been a lot worse, she flopping onto her back as she holds her shoulder, "Erf, well, you win this one," she gasps with a little grin, "Your style of fighting is pretty serious, ouch."
"Sorry about that..." Mary admits as she forces herself up to her feet. She glances down at Xiangfei and she extends her hand down to her, to offer her a hand up to rise. Little consolation but still, "Guess I got a little carried away," Mary says, lips curling into a smile, "You did pretty well too..." She says, "Though after I fought your man, I figured I shouldn't go easy on you. Beside, it's much more respectful that way, eh? We both gave it our best."
Mary grins and she gives a gentle pat on Xiangfei's shoulder, "Thank, you're pretty good too. Maybe later we could have a rematch, and you'll show me how great your hidden chinese technique can be."
Xiangfei blinks a bit in suprise to the offered hand, but she does take it, and she isn't even very difficult to get back up to her feet! A nod of appreciation is given, the chinese girl still rubbing her shoulder though, "Huh? No need to apologize, you didn't give me anything I didn't want, after all. But my kung-fu seems to still need improvement. Er as for Alma, yeah his passion is pretty much unrivaled in my eyes, I can understand that.." finally she offers a hand to the blonde, "Yeah, I'm definatly going to improve, thanks for a good match, Mary!"
The blonde woman folds her arms in front of her chest and she gives Xiangfei a slow nod of her head, "Well you could ask him for advice, he didn't have trouble defeating me," Mary idly notes, letting a soft chuckle escape her throat, "I mean, he's pretty good himself as well," She simply says. The woman glances down at Xiangfei's offered hand and she chuckles, reaching out for it, "Ahah, right! Good match too... You'd better improve, 'cause I'll be looking foward for our rematch," Mary says. She lifts her free hand up, pointing her index at Xiangfei and she gives her a nod of her head, "Well now... I guess I'd better leave before someone ask fore reparation for the broken table..."
Xiangfei laughs a little nervously with the shake, and she very quickly shakes her head, "Not a chance, at least not unless I can suddenly throw a 'Sacred Wave'." she half-jokes, but then.. Yes, Marys words make a new fire burn in the chinese girls heart, both hands then clenched into fists, "Ha ha!" she cries, in a way that would make even Saishu proud, "Careful what you ask for, I'm destined to be the next 'Strongest Woman in the World' you know, believe that!" but after she says that, she does motion to shoo Mary off with a little something to think about!!, even though it was the girl herself that broke it!
And Duck will yell at her again. T_T
"Well you won't be until you defeat me," Mary says. Looks like it's settled. Mary grins to Xiangfei and the little waves of her hands encourages her to actually leave before she gets in trouble. Guess that's a little unbecoming of the winner but that's what Blue Mary does...
