Description: In which Yuri and Xiangfei challenge the Kyokugenryuu master, for some pink slips--and a whole lotta pushups.
Ah, another beautiful afternoon at the Kyokugenryuu Dojo... the sounds of students practicing their arts--students sparring, chopping wood barehanded, and... Takuma, for once, leading a class; his powerful voice echoes through the grounds as he leads students in a kata.
"ICHI! NI! SAN! HUOOOOWAH!" The last syllable punctuates Takuma's fiercely flying kick--which just barely misses one of the students! ... whoops. Takuma grins sheepishly and steps aside, motioning for one of the middle-ranked students to continue on.
"C'mon, dad - don't hit the students! It's bad for business!"
Yuri's normally more respectful than this. Today, howeve, she's got a new atitude, her worries are few - and she's determined to well.. Give pops a big 'ol 'How do you do!' that involves a challenge to his spirit! She steps onto the surrounding of he mat, looking down at her shoes - normally, people take them off before hopping onto the Dojo floor, but today, well.. We'll see!
"Dramatic Gesture time, Takuma-sensei. I have five _thousnd_ pushups that says I can challenge your arts successfully! Are you willing to show your class the _true_ power of Kyokougenryuu?" She grins from ear to ear, then quickly grabs at Fei-Fei's shoulder. ".. Against the both of us?"
Xiangfei hasn't been in the Kyokugen dojo in quite some time! And she especially hadn't been there when there were students in training; so it's quite a sight for the Heavenly Hip-Hop Honey of Southtown, currently dressed in a red, chinese blouse and pants with black slippers.
It's a shame though, that class was about to be interrupted with a -different- lesson in mind. Easily pulled into Yuris hold and standing on one foot she realizes- Yeah, that's right, it's time for "That's right, Mr Sakazaki! Strongest! 101 is now in session!" uh wow.. How rude! But it makes her look ten times more hardcore than just being all respectful. Though after a moment she pokes her pointer fingers togeather and grins sheepishly, "I mean.. If.. You know, it's ok with you." Lol.
Takuma considers it--for all of about .5 seconds. Then he turns, making a gesture at the nearest large practice mat.
"CLEAR THE MAT!" he roars, and it doesn't even take ten seconds for it to happen. Takuma walks towards the spot where he'll wait, and announces, over his shoulder, "I accept your challenge... Yuri." He turns and focuses a intense gaze on Xiangfei.
"So, you think you're going to beat me..." He grins.
"If you lose... twenty thousand pushups!! DO YOU UNDERSTAND?!?"

"Hah! And when you lose, we'll see _you_ doing them!" Hiiii-yah! Yuri's not holding anything back, today - mostly because if she's too tired from fighing to move, well - she can't do pushups! Win-win! She steps out from behind Fei-Fei, and then into the circle of people. She even waits for Pops to turn back towards the two before bracing, and then running in like a crazy girl! "Here we go!"
Rushing her dad, she tries to get Xiangfei into the battle. She drops down, sliding in the last two feet of her attack, grabbing for the lapels of hi gi - should she get it, well - foot to the stomach, and a push to fling him in Xiangfei's direction! "Yaaaaaaaaaah!"

Takumas reaction is so quick that it catches her well off-guard, jumping back in suprise, but screw that noise, it's time to fight with Yuri! Two on one, she knows Yuris dad is strong, so she doesn't feel bad about it. Plus, if it meant HIM doing push ups, that's only all the sweeter; she's tired of Takuma making Yuri do them all the time! Weather Yuri lands her attack or not, Xiangfei intends on bursting forward a little to slam her shoulder into either Takumas side or his front, wherever he may stumble, "HYAH!"

Woah! Flying schoolgirls and karateka! What to do? Well, Takuma is a bit distracted; or maybe he's just being nice to Yuri... she gets her grab and toss, and even though he bounces off of Xiangfei for what seems like only a little bit of damage, well, it's a bit more damaging than he would have thought. Not that he's letting on; after he lands from his little trip he makes a show of rotating his shoulders and stretching.
"Hunh! Not bad, you two! But can you keep it up??" Who to deal with first... well, let's see. First off... let's try Xiangfei! Takuma pulls his right hand back, then throws it out at Xiangfei, palm open, releasing a golden burst of chi, about the size of his fist--densely packed energy flying right for Xiangfei's forehead.
"Ko'ou KEN!" Yuri will have to wait a moment.
Oh, snaps! Pops is breaking out the big guns already! Time for Yuri to make sure that he pays for it! "H.. Hey! Pick on me first, old man!" She can probably get away with it while she's in a fight - she'd call him 'Dad', otherwise. Maybe 'scary man.' Or 'Pushups Pops'. Something! She's feeling pretty good about gtting that whole toss thing in, so it's time for her to keep busting out with good old allout Strongest! type beatdowns!
From her position behind Takuma, she turns and steps forwards - bringing her hands up and around in a two-fisted crushing attack, aimed at his arms. Maybe she'll be lucky and help throw off Takuma's projectile aimed at Xiangfei's shiny forhead!

Xiangfei learns that Takuma is.. Actually pretty badass! Not that she doubted it before, but the show of respect -while- totally rocking socks is pretty hardcore. Now, the chinese fighter gives a thumbs up to her teamate, and the celebration is cut show when she has to deal with the fireball that follows, "Oh snap!" luckily she blocks in time! The energy crashes into the girl sending her staggering back a little, but not one to be intimidated so easily, she sprints back into the fray, "Hyaah!" she attempts to assault him with two palm strikes with one hand then the other; it's ok Yuri, it's the thought that counts!

Takuma smirks; of course he's bad ass. The only way he could be MORE bad ass is if he had a great big 'fro. But he doesn't and this sometimes saddens him in his sleep. As Yuri comes in he holds up a hand, finger up.
"WAIT!" he cries, stepping back from Yuri and using his close arm to block the palm strikes; then he steps forward and uses a forearm to bash Yuri's punch out of the way--it leaves him clear to thrust a right lunge punch into her chest.
"HA HA!" comes Takuma's exclamation at joy from the successful counter.
Oof! Tumble tumble tumble thud against the back wall - the students being polite enough to move out of the way as she goes crashing backwards. Augh! Yuri gets to see the block, but that's about it, dizzy and confused. "Ah.. Ah.. That was dirty pool, Pops. Let's see if you can do it again!"
Advancing, Yuri takes her time in approaching, gauging the distance and deciding when best to move in on the offensive. Circling as if to get a better look at Takuma's options, she narrows her eyes.. and launches herself off the ground with a overhand, clasped hand attack! At it's apex, her hands burst into red-gold light, vibrant like her father's, and comes crashing down right towards Takuma's noggin.
"RAIOOOOOUU.. KEN!"
O.. O.. Oh dang. I mean wow, that was one heck of a strike and that did -not- look fun. She's seen counters like that only in movies! Well that's only the half-truth really, but that's besides the point, "Geez, you ok girl?" she asks with a wince, but that's answered with fireball action. Fireball action, eh?? Xiangfei races forward, running a little behind the blast of Yuris and then she claps her hands and thrusts her palms forward.. BOOM! A semi-circle of blue and white energy blasts forward right behind Yuris! Lets see what happens!

What happens? Well, what happens is, Takuma brings his arms up to block Yuri's strike--and then Xiangfei has to go and ruin things by Nanpa'ing Takuma right in the gut. Well, no lies--he gets thrown back and bounces along the floor once. Yeah, that hurt. But he still doesn't let it show; he rises to his feet and chuckles again... probably more pleased with the two's teamwork and their skills than anything else. He'd launched an attack during the first go-around--but this time, he stomps a foot as he goes into a crouched, modifid horse stance, tightening his muscles and uttering a low, but resonant "Haaaa~~" as he gathers energy around him, pulling it in...

Yuri watches how he does it, that horse stance copied, mimiced in a frightningly accurate motion - the stomp of her foot to get the start of the wave of chi spiraling around her, wisps of winds and fire starting to ruffle the lower edge of her gi, up and about. Lucky she's got her belt on, or the thing might go fling off! Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhh! She trusts LiX to watch her back - today, she's going to go with full-on teamwork - and her and Xiangfei will show Takum a thing or two! Maybe even THREE!

The fact that Takuma can hide his pain throws Xiangfei for a complete loop, in fact she thinks to herself, 'Is this guy unbeatable???' because he doesn't seem to be slowing down much, only.. Getting more powerful? She gives a slightly worried look to Yuri, and then seeing what she's up to, nods her head in approval, "Ok!" Trying not to be intimidated by the immense power he's gathering up, she races at Takuma, and kind of hopes that she doesn't get completely owned. That's right, she's running headfirst into danger! Or rather, fist-first, since she leaps, twirls around, and then thrusts her fist at Takuma, "HYAAAAAAA!"

It's not invincibility, Xiangfei. It is pure will and badassery. Speaking of which, Takuma is unfazed by Xiangfei's leaping, twirling attack; he merely stops it cold with a fist of his own, absorbing nearly all the impact. Yeah, it's a good, solid punch, for its speed, but Takuma is unsurprised.
He bellows, "You waste motion--a punch should be like THIS!" And then his right hand snaps out for Xiangfei's chest, swift and straight.
"HYAAH!"
Rar! Dad's ignoring her!
Yuri pulls back from her whole impressive awesome battle stance, and then stomps her foot again. "You can't ignore me forever, pops!" And she's not willing to be ignored anymore, not in the least. Pulling her hands back, she draws her chi into the center of her body, lets it grow - up and out her arms, into her hands. That ball of gold energy that Takuma thew earlier? It's pretty similar to this one, except for the fact that Yuri's attack of giant blazing ball of chi is as big as she is, and blazingly fast!

Wow, Yuri is truely chi-tastic today! In fact, it's probably a good idea that she get out of the way of that, considering how close to the dad she is. Takuma's fist is truely a weapon to be feared though, as soon as that punch connects, she crashes flat on her back, feigning being out cold. This, of course is because she is 75 percent in synch with Yuri, knowing somehow that Hao ou my god Ken is flying it's way. She again seeks to attack right behind it, weather it misses or not, and slam her palm with jarring force at his sternum, "HAH!" then forward with a double-palm strikes, "HYAH!" then leans back, winds up, and dashes with one final mighty blow! "-THIS- is a punch!!"

Oh-ho, but that's not all! After that 'final' punch, she tags on one last mighty strike, shooting upward with a flying kick, "WATAAAH!" And that is a kick! Finally she drops to the ground, hooks her fingers into her mouth and.............
Thinks better of it. She just whistles.
Naturally, the first thing that Takuma has to deal with is the incoming wall of chi. Fortunately... he has just such an answer to deal with it.
"Very good, Yuri!! But... THIS is a Haohshokoken!" And he shows her--oh, does he show her--pulling his hands back, it's only a moment before he's throwing his arms wide, firing off not just one Haohshokoken--but three--the first absorbing and negating Yuri's projectile, the next two flying out at her.
Don't fuck with the Kyokugen master. o/~
Of course, that leaves him open for Xiangfei's assault--which lays him out... at least for a short bit. But the old man ain't done yet.

"Aaaaaah!" Yuri yelps as Dad decides to blow her own super-attack type thing away, and prove just how much power he has. And this attack - well, it's freakin' HUGE! Dad's fireballs are just.. big. Bigger than big. And there are three of them, all coming for her! What would anyone do? Get the hell out of the way? Nah, no time! Stand in and try to fend off the onslaught? Not with that thing!
"SAIHA!!" Yuri pushes out both her hands, and as the fireballs rocket towards her, a gimmering shield of red-gold blazes into life. The powerful attack hits it.. slows down, trying to burst through... And stops, embedded deep into the shield she's created. Panting for breath, she pulls back her hands, and slaps the shield, forcing it back into shape, and sending the attack hurtling back right towards dear old Dad! "You can have 'em! I don't want 'em!"
Xiangfei thinks Yuri is SO DEAD. She has to be totally dead, there's no way she can survive that massive blast of pure Kyokugen PWN. "Crap, too late.. I knew you well, Yuri," she says with a shake of her head, which she lowers afterward. Sigh. Alas, Yuri, she knew ye well. "You'll pay for what you've do-"
'SAIHA!'
"WHAT??" excuse Xiangfei as she dives the HECK out of the way, tumbles, and gets to her feet only because her body can't even contain that much badass that just happened right now. Just.. -What-? Why couldn't they do this to Kim?? She has to keep her body from exploding by causing her own chi to roar, the golden pillar of energy twirling and swirling following quick hand-signs, "I knew you could do it, Sakaza!"

It's a good thing that Xiangfei -isn't- attacking this go-round; having his Triple Haohshokoken bounced back -at- him... well... it's a mixture of pride and annoyance that crosses Takuma's face. But enough time for that later--right now... once again Takuma calls up his chi, though he knows it'll exhaust him to do so, and throws another Ko'ou Ken--hard enough to cut through the remains of the reflected attack and sail right back at Yuri.

Yuri's not quite able to do anything at the _next_ fireball that comes at her. Good gods, man - where does her dad get this energy from! AuGH! It's faster than before - far too fast for her to toss up the Saiha, far to fast to try to overcome the projectile from a distance. So she stands straight, holding one hand and thrusting it forwards, chi blazing in her palm to intercept the light show with a glowing grasp. She clutches the ball of energy in her fist, slowing it's impact, the wave of it's passing moving over and around her, burning her fingers, and setting her glove to smoldering.
"AAAAATCHTCHTCHTFCH!" She exclaims, hopping around and holding her hand, trying to cool it down by waving it around in the air. Oof. OOF.
That -was- pretty bad planning on Xiangfeis part, yes, but she needed to keep herself from exploding, you see. So it wasn't her fault! But Takuma needn't worry, she and Yuri will still be able to perform as a team and overcome all odds! True story.
"Strongest! represeeeent!" Xiang cries over the loud booms and bams and chi-ey explosions rock the dojo. And then.. It's all done, much to Xiangs disappointment, "Hang in there, Sakaza! We can't afford to mess up now!" though if the old man regroups -too- quickly, they're totally boned! Me astonished as LiX leaps into the fray again, and this time? She's pulling out the big guns, dropping to the floor and sliding toward Takumas feet. But it's a feint! In a display of gravitational defiance, she's suddenly pushed to her feet and leaps upward, seeking to slam her forehead into his, LOOK OUT! "WWAAAAAH!"

Forehead? Headbutts? This girl's obviously seen Saishu fight... that man's headbutt is -legendary-. Xiangfei's may get there someday... even though it leaves Takuma visibly panting and needing a rest, he snaps a forearm up and just stops Xiangfei's headbutt cold. "No," he says, as he draws his right hand back and just punches Xiangfei like OH MAH GAWD and sends her flying. Nngh. Takuma has already resigned himself to the fate of having lost this fight... but he won't go down smooth and easy... no, he'll go down like a mouthful of raw lemon juice... bitter, sour, and puckered to the -- um, yeah.
Oh snaps.. AGAIN!
"Fei-Fei! Watch out for a concussion!" Like Yuri shouting this will help. Ahwell. She's offerng the Strongest! seal of approval, and gives Xiangfei a thumbs-up of good work! It still looked hellishly painful. Ugh! So Yuri has to step up - but she's running a little low on energy too! She rushes her pops, and then just goes and pulls her hand back as her left hand goes for the right edge of his gi. You know wha happens here, right pops?! That's right! It's time for the slappy hand of justice!
"Oh crap,"
"-OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOW!!!" She should have known better than that, trying to headbutt the master?? Wasn't happening! Takumas punch is one to write home about, that just hit so hard that her grandmother felt it, and she's flying across the dojo like woah. Passes a couple of students, crashes along the floor and tumbles a bit. She might have cracked something, she's in so much hurt she can't even tell for sure. x.x ".... I'm good," she manages to sputter weakly as she gets to her feet, holding her side. ".. Crap.. Yuri! You got my back, right?" she yells, murmuring then under her breath afterward as she raises her fingers to her lips.

Slapped? By his OWN DAUGHTER? Not today missy! Takuma brushes Yuri's hand away before she can get a good grip, then LEAPS, prodigiously, across the mat, getting som distance between his daughter and her cohort... he needs a little rest, the two girls have been working him hard, and he admits it...

Ignored, frustrated, and brushed aside! That's no way to treat a daughter! Yuri recovers quickly after her miss, and tosses a glance towards LiX - she knows, deep in her heart, what she's going to do next - and while she's exhausted, she won't let the other girl down!
"HAaaaaaah!" Yuri sidesteps, and just *flops* onto Takuma's back, trying to wrap him up while clinging like a hyperactive Koala!
"Get him, Fei-Fei! Kick his old saggy butt!"

Xiangfei can't help but snicker; Yuri is just HELL BENT on hitting someone with that move. She doesn't really understand the motivation, but the fact that it's undying motivation is actually pretty.. Motivational for her!
The only slight problem here though, is that Takuma seems to be tightening his guard, which will make things tricky from this point. Oh well, no turning back now! The Heavenly Hip-Hop Honey finds some newfound energy, sprinting at Takuma with a very slight limp, but then she's just.. Not there.
It's not often Xiangfei can move that fast, and heck maybe Takuma -can- see how fast she's moving, but will he be able to do anything about the sudden jab with her fingertips just below his neckline? "HYAH!"

Well apparently he can! However, it doesn't stop her from finishing up her technique anyway, though it's hasty, she swings her opposite arm around to join the striking arms forarm, and releases a large spike of pearl-white chi at the old mans chest, "Here we go!" BOOM!
_Can_ Takuma see how fast Xiangfei is moving? Well, did he take the blue pill or the red pill?? Actually, he took both--one for his stomach, the other for back pain--and that's why he's able to deflect Xiangfei's jabby-jabby, shunting it aside like an old master. Wait.. he IS an old master... middle-aged, actually... still in the prime of life. The spike of chi is mostly avoided; this, then, would account for the fact that he's still standing after all that. He grins... an evil personage (like say, Rugal) would smirk, but Takuma wears a grin. Because it's better than bad, it's good. He has to deal with Yuri, first, before he can do anything else, so he simply plucks the girl off his back--holding her by the scruff, as it were. He seems unconcerned with this, as he once again calls up chi from the earth, energy swirling around him in a golden column... will Yuri be pissed off by this treatment? Quite probably!

Yuri thought humiliating was being brushed aside - and now, she knows true humiliation. Hung out to dry by the scruff of her neck, by her dad of all people! AUGH! She takes a swipe at him, but is foiled by his longer arms - all the rotten luck!
C'mon, Yuri.. Time to use your head! Or rather - your feet! The Kyokugen student grabs onto her dad's arm, trying to get an anchor point, then brings her feet up in a quick series of kicks - one, two, then a double-foot strike, all for his chest..! "Leggo! I mean it!"
Xiangfei cringes a bit, there's just no way she's going to be able to pull that off a second time.. So soon! "... Man," she tch'es, but what's this? It looks like Yuri is in trouble! To the Xiangfeimobile! Of course all up in the action (and trying not to snicker at Yuris plight), she crouches just slightly, shifts to the side a bit and then bursts forward with her shoulder extended, "HAH!" while it knocks many opponents flat on their butt, she's not so sure about the bigger man! O, and she's striking from the side. Heads!

Takuma ehs? And sees that his concentration is, by necessity, broken as Yuri kicks at him. He throws his arm out, throwing Yuri's kicks off-target, and hopefully forcing her to get away... and then that shoulder ram is incoming and Takuma puts his own shoulder down to take it shoulder to shoulder... the impact doing little to push him aside. With a grunt, he turns his attention back to Yuri--hoping to make sure she lets go of his arm, he snaps out a side kick aimed for his daughter's side. Ignoring her? Not anymore...

And let this be a lesson! Do not try to Yuri Chou Upper when you're being held up by the neck. You can't move forwards, and it just doesn't work! What starts as a giant attack, is suddenly turned into a backwards spiral as the foot connects. On the good side, she's out of the way now. That'll let Fei-Fei get her licks in, yeaaaaah. Yuri's gonna take a quick little nap.
Xiangfei believe with all her heart in the Yuri Chou upper! On the other hand though, "Watch your face!" cries her partner, because.. Well. It's kind of too late now, there she goes bouncing away like a fun ball. And that leaves just her and Takuma for now, face to face.
Xiangfei pales a little bit, grinning weakly. BUT! The fight must continue, she can't just have him standig there grinning all day, right? Thrill!! As Li Xiangfei runs forward! Chill!! As Li Xiangfei twirls around and releases another blast of chi at Takuma! Nanpa goodness.

Takuma meets the attack head-on--or arms-on, in this case--letting his aura absorb most of the damage from that attack. He grunts as it hits, letting the force push him back away from the Chinese girl. "Too slow!" he cries, and... lowers his guard? Not really, though it may appear so to the two fighters he's facing..

"Slowing down, old man? I can see why you're.. needing a breather!" Yuri isn't about to let up on him, oh no. In fact, she's more than willing to go at him full-bore. She steps in, then tries to duck past - if she can get under his arm, she's going to bring a elbow in against the small of his back. That'll show him for dropping his guard! Even a little!
"Don't give up, Fei-fei! We can take him!"
Xiangfei grits her teeth lightly; there's no doubt in her mind that Takuma is about to build up for something -big-. But what it is exactly he's getting ready for she hasn't the SLIGHTEST clue. Clearly the answer here is to get in some power hits! "Y.. Yeah, you're right, Sakaza, let's DO THIS!" and she hops a little to the side, then sprints forward with a rising knee attack! And should that connect, she flips in mid-air, to tag a flipping kick in an amazing display of agility! Come on, bullet!

Yuri's incoming elbow is deftly and quickly sidestepped--and that, my friends. That puts Takuma in the perfect position to throw another forearm up to slap it against Xiangfei's foot... and yes... once again he throws a lunge punch right into Xiangfei's chest. It costs him all the precious rest he'd just gained... but perhaps it was worth it... perhaps it was worth it...
"Augh! Don't treat me like I'm not a threat!" Yuri growls under her breath as she's sidestepped, angry and rash. Her attacks show it, too, sweeping motions that whiff and miss ineffectually. But Yuri? She's drinking milk. And while she may not look like much now, she's growing stronger. Building strong bones, a healthy body - and a good leg for footsweeping!
Yuri drops down to a crouch, and then brings her foot across, right at Pop's knee. She's gonna try to bring him down, and give Fei-fei time to recover. "I'll show you!!" she shouts, trying to control her actions, to pick up the speed that she'll desperately need to take down her pops!
OWNED.
Again. Xiangfei gets schooled by Takumas punch again and I tell ya, it is NOT fun! The students dive out of the way as Xiangfei flies back again and crashes into the same spot she landed last time.. And then sits up with wide eyes, "OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOW!!!!!!"
No seriously, what the crap that HURT! Not as bad as the power hit though. Though man.. She should totally help Yuri out- But trusting that the girl will be able to hold her own a little longer, she powers up again as she slowly gets to her feet, panting, "WOAAAAAH!!!" she yells, holding out her arms, "WaaOOAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!" BOOM! Her golden chi comes roaring to life again! YEAH, BABEH!

Even as they fight, even as the song of battle pounds in his head, Takuma is ever-observant... he's noting what he's going to work on, with Yuri, to make her a better fighter. Because, believe it or not, he wants to see the day when Yuri can defeat him... and not just because he's old. But that day isn't today... Takuma hops over that low kick and strikes out with one of his own in turn, aiming for Yuri's shoulder because he's a nice dad... really. How nice? He didn't even bring out the mask... and he really really wanted to.

That's it.
Yuri's not going to miss again. In fact, this time - she's going to show her dad just _how_ strong she can be. She's not going to give him anything but a giant headache, and maybe a sick, sore, stomach! She steps _into_ the giant foot of doom - doubling over as the impact rocks her in the sternum, knocks the wind out of her. But she's not going to go down _that_ easy. Her breath gone, she can barely suck enough wind for herself - but she's got to share.. And show her pops just what she's made of.
"SHHIIIIN YURI CHOOOU UPPAAA!!" With that, well - she pushes herself off the foot, and inwards - one fist coming up in a giant haymaker - aimed right at his giant chin. Were he wearing the mask, she'd be trying to shatter it - it's probably for the best that he's not wearing it..!

Lets GO!" pitta patta pitta patta *FWOOM* a large cloud of dust bursts behind the heveanly hiphop Honey, she busting in and up shoulder first- It's a combined effort, it's the Biggest Uppercut in History! (tm)

Takuma admires his daughter's spirit, her will to win... it makes him poud to the point of tears. But victories must be earned or they are worth nothing. Though Yuri has gone down... when she wins, she will know the true taste of victory. In the meantime, Takuma pulls away from Yuri's punch, wheeling around, his forearms set to block Xiangfei's rising shoulder rush... they're bruised by now, even his tough forearms, but he cares not.
"A good effort," he announces, as he crouches... and leaps up to follow Xiangfei, seeking to grab her by the arms, or the shoulder, and toss her onto the mat.

No push-ups, no push-up! Momma please NO PUSH-UPS! Xiangfei has never been victim to that kind of punishment, and its that panic that makes Xiangfei do something she's never done before to Takuma. Show him some LiX TriX.
The chinese fighter is grabbed yes, but if she's going out, she's going out with a BANG! She's twirled, she's slammed to the ground, but she bounces RIGHT back, like some sort of crazy basketball SLAP! Her fingertips strike at Takuma again, temporarily paralyzing him once he hits the ground again, "hoAAAAA!!" her opposite arm windmills again, meeting her forearm and she machine-guns burst after burst of chi into the older man, 100 bursts released in record time ad the final blast would send him flying back and free him from her strike, "HYAAAAAAAAH!"
What's that about her? It's the glow.. The glow of GUTS! (and holy crap was she lucky)
Takuma lands hard, for sure, the rapidfire chibursts finally finding their intended target... however... Takuma is not out yet. Oh no, not by a long shot. He lands on his feet, skidding across the dojo floor, crouched, wisps of energy flowing off him as he lands... and grins... and waits. Beckoning to Xiangfei, silently, to come at him again... she's certainly got guts, that's for sure.

With Yuri out of the picture, Xiangfei can't really afford to be reckless much longer. So what she does once Takuma lands, is roll her shoulders, hold out her palms and furrows her brows. She's not exactly sure how much that weakened him, or how badly she messed up his plans, but that stall was pretty much all she needed, ".. We fight at my pace now," the chinese girl says with a grin, and... You guessed it, the chi comes roaring to life again as she nods her head in an 'awwwww jyeah' manner. FO SHO'.

Well, while Xiangfei is busy trying to charge herself up again, Takuma will... focus his efforts... wanting to make sure that whatever Xiangfei tries, he will be able to handle. She's shown that she can be serious, for sure, but can she pull out the win? It'll be close, very close... or at least, that's how it appears, as Takuma studies his young opponent.

Xiangfei knows that -whatever- is headed her way is going to be the ugliest thing since like.. uh.. Well, she doesn't even know, but she can't afford to make any mistakes! She feels a little bad doing this but, she's going to need as much power as she can get toward these final rounds! Deep breath taken, she makes quick hand motions, murmuring to herself as she furrows her brows. Suicide is coming!

Well... that's enough of that, is it? Takuma suddenly explodes off the mat, rushing at Xiangfei in a swift run--except he pulls himself up short and lashes out with a hard, snapping kick launched for Xiangfei's midsection--a classic karate technique, executed flawlessly, as should be expected of the master of Kyokugenryuu karate.

Crap. Too much time planning and not really enough -doing-, Xiangfei draws back her fists, and throws them forward to try and fend off the kick flung her way. "... oops," and so much for that, because it slams right on target, right under her palms and makes her double over. And.. Not flying away? Curious that, she lets out a long oooooooooof after it connects and crashes onto her back. It would seem she's down for the count, but she isn't just yet! No, she manages somehow to get to her feet once more, curls out her fingertips, and then leaps upward once more to try and strike at the neckline of Takuma, "HAAAAH!"

Again? Yuri truly has some gutsy friends and teammates. Properly focused, that would make them -truly- a force to be contended with... as it is, they didn't do very badly at all, an excellent showing on all sides... Takuma snags Xiangfei's hand as she strikes, but... just catches her, really, no need to sock her in the jaw or anything like that. He even sets her down gently... and only then does he let the pain he's feeling show.
"A-tatata... I'm getting too old for this," he mutters, as he motions to two of the remaining students, to check out both Yuri and Xiangfei for any serious injuries. He doesn't think he hurt them... oh yes, the students.
"This was a fine, brave example, of what can be achieved with Kyokugenryuu! If you achieve mastery then you will be capable of ANYTHING!" With that Takuma heads to the 'home' part of the dojo, the private area... to ice down sore muscles. But as he leaves, he leaves the students with another thing to think about. That is...
"HA HA!"
Uh crap.
Not much Xiangfei can say about that, with her technique stopped again, she
curses quietly to herself, and then all the fatigue catches up with her and
she drops to her knees, "Aw -man-," she whines, panting heavily for breath,
"If only I stopped that kick.."
Well not only that, think about the STREET CRED! She and Yuri would have
been known as the Dudes that took down Takuma! Because lets face it, the
chances of them doing that well again aren't too good. :( She doesn't want
to do push-ups.
