Description: Kensou ends up having to help Xiangfei with her training under Chin... Naturally, this means sparring! Xiangfei has a lot to learn, Kensou has a lot to learn, and everyone learns an important lesson about friendship. Or something.
Before, Li Xiangfei was absolutly ecstatic to be recieving training from Chin, it's like, she wasn't the biggest psycho soldiers fan or anything like that, heck Kensou alone was enough to make her stay as far away as she could. But then she was completely in awe, inspired in ways she'd never been inspired before by the old man. She should be happy, she really should..
"But dang, why does it have to be with -you-??" the Heavenly Hip-Hop Honey of Southtown cries, flailing her arms, and clearly is unhappy with recent events. She begged Chin for more training, and she would do whatever he asked; but she didn't expect that he'd point her in Kensous direction again, and she couldn't take her words back.
Li Xiangfei. Once again she's standing out in the clearing hopefully with her training parter, "... sigh.." Kensou. As one might expect, it's freakin' cold out. Not overly so, but enough so that normal folk would need a nice, heavy winter jacket. Snow sprinkles on the grass, the afternoon sun is a'shinin, and Xiangfei isn't thugged out, wearing gray sweatpants and an oversized, yellow sweatshirt, her hair up with her totally awesome bells. She's carrying something extra with her pants though.
She's got a drinking gourd strapped to it ,you freaking sickos. >:( Shes kneels to the ground, drawing a meatbun in the snow with her finger, "Clearly my only option here is to just beat you so bad, that he won't have any choice but to train me himself. Are we gonna do this or what?"
Yeah, yeah. Whatever, Xiangfei! "Tch, it's not my idea of a good time either," Kensou replies, tugging his fingerless gloves a bit tighter. No, he's not really making any concessions to the cold, either: One supposes that's an advantage to being a fighter! Of course, the whole reason for Chin pitting these two against each other probably has to do with making /both/ of them improve their skills, but that doesn't mean he has to like the choice of 'sparring partner'. "But anytime you're ready t' get yer big butt kicked, c'mon," he adds, dropping into his fighting stance. Oh, Kensou, you are a caution.

Xiangfei just mumbles and mumbles some more with a little sigh. Well, there's not anything she can do about it, she's just going to have to suck it up and do what she has to do. And that's totally rock Kensous face with some furious kung-fu action. Now -that- she's down with! Looking up to the boy, her eyes half-lid, "Whatever hater, you're the one that's about to get your beat on! Lets -do- this!" she slaps her cheeks togeather, and then drops into her killer kung-fu stance, open-palms extended and a rather focused look as well, her chi blazing without the assistance of her usual hand-signs. Curious that, "HaaAAAA!!" the golden pillar swirling and twirling about her. It's seriously hardcore.

Well, we'll just see who is the beater and who is the beatee! ...Wait, that doesn't make any sense. Letting out a huff of air, Kensou watches as Xiangfei goes through a slightly modified version of her usual DBZ routine. "Well, whatever," the Psycho Soldier says, and then suddenly he's dashing forwards, right at Xiangfei, oh no! Heedless of the potential dangers of advancing on her like that, Kensou then leaps forward to land on his hands, using them to spin himself around, both legs fully extended to his sides; it's sort of like his usual rising kick, except performed without leaving the ground. "Huaa--!!"

Xiangfei is a gutsy little thing. That, or she's just really desperate to do something totally cool. And she does it all right. When Kensou comes zooming at her with the intent to KILL with his Kick, Xiangfei has other plans.
Chin says she should be able to properly perform drunken arts without the influence of alcohol, and as such, she tries crossing her arms and clumsily brings up an arm to defense. It's a weak guard, but one nontheless, and she twists her body toward Kensou, hand tightened into a fist and "HYAAAH!" slams it right into Kensous spine! ... She's fairly certain it's more painful than it looks; but dang did it hurt her in process, "... Ow ow owow.."
Okay, yeah, that was pretty ballsy. "Guh!" exclaims Kensou, who is shoved away by the punch to the spine... But not for long as he recovers and twists, still keeping his balance on his hands and spinning around again, this time for a lower kick. In fact, he's basically trying to sweeps Xiangfei right off of her feet. "Hyaa--!!"

Xiangfei was tempted. One could not even begin to understand just how tempted the chinese girl was to attempt further hijinx. Because she was just able to read that kick so well but.. But she decides against it, dropping into a crouch and with a, "HAH!" sort of backhands Kensous foot to lessen the impact. The other hand? well it lashes forward to try to hook her pointer and middle finger up into Kensous nostrils. Or pinch his nose, whatever, and if she can, proceeds to lift him up with her as she stands and shake his head back and forth, "o/~ Woo-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-oh!" she squeaks, and then she draws that hand back and slams both her fists toward the boys gut. "waTAAH!"

Ow, jesus, what the holy hell are you doing, Xiangfei? Kensou gets his nose grabbed, and his attempt to get a hand in to counterattack is forestalled by then getting slammed away, staggering back. "Ugh! What the hell is wrong with you?!" he demands irritatedly, shaking his head. Honestly, there's a world of difference between Suiken and /apparently having been dropped on your head too much as a child/, Xiangfei!
"........ owned."
Is Xiangfeis totally witty response as she dances lightly on her tip-toes with a light snicker, "What, your teacher never showed you that one? ... Then again, I probably made it up, I don't remember,"
There's a bit of an uncomfortable silence after that confession actually, brown eyes shifting a bit, and then just to end the tension, or giving a chance for Kensou to bust out with a snarky remark, "What're you gonna do about it? Biiiih!" she brings her hands to the side of her face, flapping them like wings as she raspberries her opponent. <3

Augh, augh! "Jeez, maybe I just won't fight ya anymore, if you're gonna act like a freakin' two year old," Kensou says, rubbing his nose. No, his teacher never used attacks like that! Not on Kensou, anyway. Perhaps it's because Chin might be a drunk, but he's not completely insane! Of course, for all of Kensou's talk, he's actually subtly and invisibly drawing on his inner reserves of Psycho Power, because he really doubts Xiangfei is going to apologise for being a total child.

Xiangfei's attitude is almost straightened out then... Well... Almost. Her teasing comes to a brief halt to the threat of not fighting her anymore, lips curled into a frown and eyes half-lidding again, "Oh for crying out loud," she huffs, and rushes forward again, gripping the string tied to her brass gourd (on sale at the dollar store), and flings it forward, hoping to smack Kensou right in his face, "So I'm a two year old huh? Well then here, have a bottle you big baby!!"

Yes, that's right, you're acting like a child, Xiangfei! Kensou sees her coming in like that, and he catches the flung gourd which connects with his gloved hand with a smack, a bit of stinging pain running up his arm. "Too slow!" he says, and then he, well... Throws the gourd right back in Xiangfei's face. Ha ha ha, take that, sucka!!

... Grr! And while Xiangfei didn't quite -fully- expect Kensou to end up eating the brass object, she ends up looking annoyed by Kensous words. A child.. A -child-! The girl is arguably lucky from that point, she tilting her head to the side as it whiffs by, and then comes to a halt by the string before falling to the ground, "Grrrr!! Why you.. Well me acting like a child seems to be doing a good job of KICKING YOUR BUTT!" she yells, abandoning the gourd for the moment to run and get all up in Kensous face. Drawing her hand back to give the boy a heck of a backhand, followed by a palm thrust to his chest. ... Yet there's this inkling sense of doom hanging over her head and she's not quite sure why..

Well, Xiangfei's certainly doing well today, huh? Kensou doesn't even manage to get his guard in the way of Xiangfei's punches, staggering a little... So what's next on the agenda?! Gritting his teeth, Kensou puts a little more room between himself and Xiangfei, reaching behind his back to initiate his /ultimate technique/... Oh yes. He pulls out a meat bun seemingly from nowhere, and wolfs it down!! You're doomed now, Xiangfei!
Hmmn.. Ok, good! Xiangfei was afraid that acting on her anger might have spelled doom for her, but she couldn't help it, she was mad! So when her blows connect, she seems a little impressed, ".. huh, not bad," she murmurs to herself, until she sees the damned meat bun. Oh for how she HATE when Kensou does that, as once again she's completely helpess to it's awesome powers of drawing her hunger. So what's a girl to do? She just goes with the flow, and attempts to make his meal as unpleasent as possible, staggering toward Kensou again and unleashes a longer fury of attacks, two backhands to his gut, twirls around and snaps a kick to his side with the heel of her foot, and then finally leaps into the air to shoot another kick across the side of his face, "Monkey in the clouds!!"

You know, this is really not Kensou's day. He gets knocked around /again/, though he's feeling much better after that bun, thanks... Getting hit only offsets that somewhat, as he staggers back from Xiangfei's assault. "Heh... So when're you gonna stop hittin' like some kinda wuss, then?" he wonders. Because right now, all he can do is goad her on! Goad, goad!
Wow.. Not that Xiangfei doesn't have confidence in what little Sui she knows, but that worked out better than she could have dreamed! He looks like he's raging! .... Wait a minute, no, it's Xiangfei who's actually raging, looking quite embarassed now by Kensous taunting, "You JERK! Who's the one hitting like a wuss here??" she cries in a demanding tone, and what's she do? She attempt to skip forward and get a grip on Kensous top, twist and slam him onto the ground, "HAAAH!" there's not much kung-fu-ey about that, particularly, but it's followed by a strong stomp, a hop and then drives her two fists into his gut as she falls to her knees, "wwATAAH!"

This is totally not going Kensou's way at all, thus far, but he has every intention of remedying that situation. Yes, you should never count the psychic kung-fu fighter out, because he never gives up! So, his teacher's new 'student' is trying for a throw? Not this time, Li Xiangfei! Because her attempt to get a grip on his shirt nets her a whole lot of nothing as Kensou ducks back out of the way, and then hops up for a dropkick with both feet, aimed right at Xiangfei's face. "Yaa-!!"

Xiangfei, on the other hand, isn't doing too badly.. But as usual it's going to come to a point where she's going to be forced to push herself to the limit. At what point will that be? She's not exactly sure.. Kensous dropkick looks like it could take her block off, but throwing her palms out to redirect the kick takes a lot of punch out of the... ... kick.. but knowing how flexible he is, he likely won't be falling on his face. Temper cooling a little, she rushes with another combination of attacks, starting with a double palm thrust toward the boys side, then turns her back to him with a back-kick, "Hah! Hyah!" then she drops down as if about to do a push-up, and handsprings with twirling press-kick, "HAI!"

Okay, so actually Kensou's dropkick was technically a drop/sault/, as he pushes off of Xiangfei's guard to land on his front, which is a much safer position to be in than actually prone. He's getting up when Li launches into her own attack, but he's totally not there when she goes for it, instead leaping right over her head and landing behind her rather acrobatically, twisting on his heel to swing a backfist at the back of her big ol' noggin. "Hua--!!"

Xiangfei oofs, staggering a bit as she tries to quickly regain her balance, and does so! Her assault was a bit unorthodox after all. However, her concern here is tearing Kensou up! While Kensou aims for the back of her head, the backfist actually smacks into her forehead since she was quickly turning around, and.. Well, it doesn't seem effective even though it did hurt! There's a fire in her eyes that's almost dangerous really, and she lashes out rather than before, a double-palm strike, followed by a single-palm, hitting suprisingly harder than her previous strikes. She sweeps low to slam her shoulder into his gut, then staggers back and bursts forward again with an even harder shoulder tackle, "KYAAH!"

Well, it wasn't the hardest punch Kensou has ever punched anyone with, you know? When Xiangfei comes after him again right after the punch, though, Kensou tries to dodge out of the way, and he /almost/ manages it, getting winged by the palm strikes that knock him away, allowing him to be safely missed by the rest of Xiangfei's assault. /Whew/. "Too bad!" he calls, charging back in at his opponent again, this time thrusting a hand out at her sternum in an open palm strike! And if it lands, well, Kensou fires off one of those distinctive blue-tinged white Psycho Power blasts, to chuck his opponent away. "Uryaa-!!"

There is something to say about taking more damage than you dish out, and Kensous totally awesome acrobatics breaks her heart a little.. Of course, it's always better to have even a graze over a complete miss, but she got overzealous, but she was sure the moment was perfect!
And so Xiangfei frowns to Kensous taunt (er, unles it was genuine, she can't tell), and returns the favor by leaping up and over Kensou with his palm strike, "Hup!" so now what? Not much aside from a counter-attack, "Strike three!" she clapping her hands and with another stomp forward, throws both of her fists toward Kensous back, though she twists to the side, as if she were aiming for the upper and lower back, "Hah!"

Uh oh, here comes the pain, huh? Kensou still doesn't have control of this match, but he's definitely not just going to go away... When Xiangfei tries to punch him in the back, he twists around and her fists end up hitting his crossed forearms. Bad luck on that one, Li. "Tch..." And he shoves back on her fists, and again he leaps at her, twisting to try and catch her by the neck with his feet and then /keep/ twisting, with the intent of wrenching Xiangfei right off of her footing and into the ground.

Oops. This is one of those cases where Xiangfei would totally rock the house with some big, flashy, cool-looking move (of course with the assist of the power of her great great ancestors), and doing it alone doesn't work out so well. Xiangfei actually reaches out to grab Kensous ankle, a slip-up on her part though ends up giving her a free, rather hard trip to the ground, "OOOF!" she grunts, sliding along the surface on her back and brings a hand to the small of her back, "Rrrgh, geez, ow," she grumbles. Well, that'll learn her!
Oops is right! Kensou is glad that worked, though; he was starting to think things weren't going to go his way at all. But does he stay on Xiangfei even while she's fallen? Nah, he's far too soft-hearted for tactics like that, even against the hated Forehead Girl. Instead, Kensou returns to his fighting stance and waits for her to get her footing again, once again drawing on his hidden reserves of power...!

Xiangfei is thankful... She thinks. With Kensou off her back it does give her a moment to take a new plan of action.. And actually her plan of action isn't much of a plan, she's just going to have to keep pressing forward and hope for the best! Xiangfei hops lightly to her feet at last, hands raised into fists now, "Ok!" then she suddenly drops into a slouch, resting her hands on her knees and panting a little, "... In a minute.." she couldn't just run up at him after all, not at this point of the match!

Alas for poor, tired Xiangfei. But while Kensou might have misgivings about attacking her while she's down... He /doesn't/ have any about attacking her while she's just standing there like a dope. Instead, the psychic teenager launches himself forward at the so-called 'Hip Hop Honey', tugging the glove on his right hand tighter as he dashes and then thrusting that hand /out/ as he closes with her, his left hand tapping against his right arm just below the shoulder. Uh oh.

...And there's that big, spherical blast of almost pure white Psycho Power, but it doesn't quite seem to find its mark! Alas. But on the bright side, she didn't get out of the way of it!
Standing there like a dope, or defending like a CHAMPION? Or maybe a little of both, it would seem that her guard wasn't compeletely down, just in an arguably lazy position. Kensou gets to put the hands in place, and there's the sphere! The psycho energy that always seems to make her cry against her will, and she somehow manages to defend against it, her body tightening up and just.. Well, -willing- against the technique as tears streak down her cheeks and then freeze from the cold. Xiangfei slumps afterward, suddenly looking a bit exhausted, her body trembling, "O... Oh man.. I never did.. like that.." she groans,
Oh well! Pushing herself forward, it's back to being on the offense, psyching herself up a bit as she lashes her palm at Kensous shoulder, "Hah!" which should hopefully knock him off-balance so she can again dash into his side, shoulder first, "Hai!"

How could you not like that? It's a wholly tasty attack! Chock full of vitamins and nutrients! To turn it down like that... Unthinkeable! But at least it woke Xiangfei up. The attack to his shoulder hits, but only partially, as Kensou knocks Xiangfei's arm away, not nearly off-balance enough to be hit with the shoulder tackle. Sorry! Instead, he hops to the side when Xiangfei tries it, going for another dropkick... But this one is more of him swinging one foot at her face as he jumps to the side.

Xiangfei is still in trouble though, the pressure is on, and right now, Kensou has the advantage! And the chinese waitress just isn't fast enough to bring up her guard after Kensous quick evasion, her eyes crossing as the foot smashes into her face like woah and sends her crashing onto her back. and blood trickling down her nose. It doesn't take a genius to know -that- hurt! She brings a hand to her face with a grunt, then curls in her knees kicking herself up to her feet, then staggers and falls onto her rear again, "... crap," she grumbles, her fumbling to the side, then whips forward, throwing.. A rock! How.... original. And as she does this she leans forward to get to her feet...

But no dice. She falls to her side, giving a weak chuckle as she points to the boy, "Hehe.. O.. Ow.."
Whoa, what the?! Kensou gets his footing just in time to see a rock flying at his head, and his attempt to get out of the way? No such luck! Instead, Kensou gets hit right in the face, his head snapping back and the youth himself staggering back on one foot... But he doesn't fall! No, he's still up! "Whew," he says, shaking his head and looking at the fallen Xiangfei. "What, that's it?" he wonders. Ha ha ha, burned!

Xiangfei e__e or rather she audibly says, "e___e" to Kensou. Yeah, she's down, actually a bit to her own suprise, perhaps that psycho power just took a lot more out of her body than she had expected. Ah well, there were plenty of ups and down in that fight, but at least she's improved a little on some of her lesser-used arts, "...... Yoooou," Xiangfei manages to sputter, raising a fist to shake at the boy, "You.. Haven't seen the last of me. I'll have my revenge. And she will too!
Well, yes, it's not like it was an easy victory for Kensou... In fact, Xiangfei pretty much had the Psycho Soldier on the ropes there at the start of the fight! But this is why you should never count him out until he's unable to keep fighting. "You'd better keep trainin' if ya want revenge," he says, shrugging his shoulders. "S'not like you're weak, after all." That was almost a compliment!
