After her whole turf war in Chinatown, it's only a nasty coincidence that Mimiru gets to have a league fight in here. Not that it matters, the acting leader of Team Awesome is IMMUNE against Team Strongest right now! Ah! Since the fight has been pre-announced, a little crowd has gathered to watch, more or less, the fight that is about to unfold. A little crowd, not that people care too much about those who are at the bottom of the list after all.
The security parameter is there and the officials of the league tournament are there. The announcer's waiting for the challenger to arrive! Or at the very least, both of them. Mimiru's bouncing in her corner, with a rather large dog at her side. She stretches and grins, "Alright Max! Another no name, let's give it our best, right?"
Talia arrives at the designated location without any real delay, taking a moment to look around at the 'arena' before facing Mimiru. She looks over the girl for a few moments before finally remarking, ".. You are younger and smaller than I realized. Do not hesitate to yield if you are hurt too badly. I would not want a death on my fight record." This is said in a monotone with a completely flat expression; there's nothing to indicate whether she means that insultingly or not.
She moves to step in front of Mimiru, keeping a distance of a couple dozen feet as she moves into a defensive combat stance. While her combat history has been with weapons, she draws none now, instead holding her hands up in a loose posture.
With a few blinks of her eyes, Mimiru turns around on her heels to face Talia and she heaves a sigh, "Man, just another one of those gals who underestimate me." Mimiru's lips curl into a cocky smile and she glances up at Talia, lifting her arm up, "Ah! Well if you're ever too hurt, don't hesitate to yield either so I'll stop." Mimiru chuckles a bit and she folds her arms in front of her chest, "Heheh, don't worry, I'm not going to die... You can't be that hardcore.."
Of course, Mimiru has no idea of Talia's fighting style but she'll probably get to know soon enough. Getting into her combat stance, with her dog standing ready not too far away from her, Mimiru just smiles and she keeps her eyes on the league official who's about to make the battle begin.

There's an impassive stare in return to Mimiru's smile, and a pause for a few moments before Talia replies, ".. Never be certain of your ability to handle a situation. Some epiphanies can be quite painful." There's another moment while Talia considers the positioning of all relevant parties, then Talia begins to move. She runs towards Mimiru directly, but shortly before closing to melee range, she spins to one side. Somehow, Talia has drawn a needle, and as she whirls alongside Mimiru, she lashes out at the smaller girl's shoulder, aiming to incapacitate the arm with a precise strike.

"Yeah well, let's see what you're made of, tough stuff." Mimiru says, sticking her tongue out slightly. She bites her lips and then says, "Less talking and more action, we'll see who'll be in pain." Mimiru says with a nod of her head.
Unfortunately, Talia's attack doesn't quite go as planned as Mimiru lifts her hands up to actually catch Talia's arm with the needle. She holds on tight to it and she quickly swirls on her heels to press her back against Talia, bending over and actually forcing the woman off her feet and to hop on her back. Only for a second though before Mimiru turns her waist and she slams Talia down to the ground.
That was a bit of a surprise; she hadn't had to deal with melee redirection techniques since her hand to hand training a few years ago, so she finds herself unprepared Mimiru's maneuver. Unprepared, however, is not the same as unable to cope; while Mimiru does slam Talia down, she immediately slips loose and rolls back to her feet, bouncing to a defensive stance some distance away.
At some point between the time Mimiru introduced Talia to the ground and the time Talia ended up in her stance, a shotgun appeared in her arms. Despite the incongruity of the weapon in a streetfight, it's held as part of a combat stance, and not simply levelled at the smaller girl -- although Talia doesn't resume fighting just yet. Instead, Talia is staring at Mimiru with that same flat expression, taking in the situation and working out the implications of the additional information.

A shotgun -- Mimiru notices the weapon but there's little her brain can do about it. Her natural reaction as a fighter is to press on the battle, not leaving Talia an opportunity to recover. Even though she slips out of her grasp and rolls to the ground back to her feet, Mimiru rushes over Talia's direction, her hand clenching into a fist as she attempts to at least get close enough from her to make it dificult for her to use her firearm and making it easier for Mimiru to dodge the burst fire from a shotgun. She doesn't even want to know how badly it could hurt a pointblank shot from that.
"Kiia!" Mimiru shouts as she attempts to give Talia a good knee shot to her sides while she tries to press on the brawl so Talia might not have the opportunity to use her weapon. But who knows! Everything happens so fast in a battle.

Well, Talia has to admit that Mimiru is just a touch faster than she was expecting. The fact that the smaller girl would rush in close was predicted, and the form of attack is one of the ones she had prepared for, and she even braces slightly for hit, letting the knee hit the coat with no real attempt to get out of the way. Mimiru may notice the coat is a little harder than it looks -- it's reinforced -- but the strike manages to get full effect regardless, and Talia is knocked to the side with more force than she anticipated.
Still, Talia's plan had allowance for this, and Talia simply lowers the shotgun as she falls to the side, levelling the barrel with the raised knee. There's a loud retort, and a single slug flies forth from the barrel, aimed to significantly interfere with Mimiru's ability to support weight on that leg.

That was a pretty nasty hit. Enough to make Mimiru cry out loud and whimper. She has to pull back a bit, one hand going over to her knee. The girl stammers back a bit and she bites her lips, her eyes returning over to Talia. Despite all of this, she can hardly affort to give Talia much of an opening to pull away from her, even if her coat seems to be like a mini armor.
While Mimiru attempts to recover from that hit, Max, her canine, actually tries to buy Mimiru sometime by actually dashing over on Talia and trying to pounce her and bite her. At the very least, unless she totally ignores the canine, it should give Mimiru sometime to get back her balance.

Even before she hits the ground, Talia is turning her fall into a roll, coming to a defensive position before the dog decides to involve itself. On realizing the animal is going to attack her, Talia drops into a crouch, kicking into a spin. The dog does manage to leap in and grab ahold of her arm, but doesn't get much purchase through the reinforced material. Trapping the dog in place with the shotgun, Talia completes the spin by releasing the dog to fly towards Mimiru, colliding with the other girl.
For the first time since the fight started, despite the hits she's taken, Talia's expression shifts, into one of vague disguest. "If you're going to fight me, leverage your own skills, not those of some animal. If you send it at me again, I will kill it." Unlike before, her voice is low and threatening; she clearly means it.
The dog whimpers at how it's being handled and Mimiru doesn't have the time to catch herself totally back that he's thrown right at her. And considering the size and bulk of the creature, it's a pretty nasty impact. Mimiru groans a bit on the ground and she pants softly, trying to push the dog off from her, though he does move away on his own. Mimiru just gives Talia a glare and she says, "Max and I fight together, just like you fight with your little toys," Mimiru says.
She bites her lips and she forces herself back to her feet, staggering a little. Though she doesn't take much time to try and get her balance back, opting for a straight assault on Talia. The girl shouts and she tries to hurl her fist right for Talia's midsection.

Once the dog is in flight, Talia returns the shotgun to its hiding place within her coat, drawing a median sized pistol. It doesn't have near the bulk of the shotgun, and that grants her a bit of extra flexibility in its use. As an example, she's able to spread her arms to better account for the rapid spin she steps into as Mimiru closes. There's a whirl and a flare of the coat, and then Talia is behind Mimiru, smiling.
"Toys. Right." There's another report as Talia fires a single shot at a pressure point in Mimiru's back; it should not only hurt like hell, but interfere in her ability to marshal her strength to fight.

That sure does. Mimiru's eyes widen as she hears the noise, though the noise barely matters, it's more the burning, the scorching she feels in her back, through her chest as the hot iron pierces through her flesh with a splash of blood on Talia along with a couple of large drop on the ground. Mimiru coughs and she chokes, staggering a bit after that hit.
One hand goes to her chest, over her clothing which quickly stains with her blood and Mimiru's whole body seems to tremble. The girl bites her lips and she tries to take her breath back, sparing a glare over to Talia. Well that definately has to hurt and not help someone fight, eh?

When Mimiru staggers, Talia's expression returns back to the emotionless visage from the beginning of the fight. She casually returns the pistol to its place within her coat, and again draws out the larger shotgun. Unlike earlier, she moves slowly enough that it's easy to see what she's doing, although where precisely in the coat each weapon goes is difficult to tell. There's no hurry; Mimiru has yielded the fight pace to her.
"I told you to be careful. I don't want you to die, but I will not lose here. I have no intention of remaining a 'no-name'." Even as she speaks, she's drawing some shells from a pocket, reloading the weapon; if Mimiru or one of the cameras is paying close attention, it might be noticed that she's removing shells with one casing color, and replacing them with shells of another color. "Don't push yourself too hard. There are limits to medical science." With that, she lowers the weapon, and fires again, this time using buckshot. It's fairly obvious where Talia is aiming -- she's looking to see how quickly Mimiru can get out of the way. If she still can.

Unfortunately after that shot, it would seem that Mimiru's reflexes have died down quite a lot and that she's like a deer caught in the spotlights. She barely has the time to glance over in her direction and her eyes widen. She bites her lips and can only try to brace for the impact but... Can you really make a bullet shot hurt less? BANG. A direct hit. And the little girl is literally sent flying back a couple of feet before she falls on her back almost motionless.
She twists and groans in pain, the shells and shrapnel from the buckshot merely causing many wounds over the girl's chest which are reflected over her stained white top. She's still alive though, or at least, still breathing as she moves and writhes in agony on the ground. Maybe it's just the nerves though? Who knows.
However, with a few barks, not quite liking this at all, Max, Mimiru's canine, rush over Talia and attempts to bite and claw her as ferociously as a dog can.

Realizing that the dog is making its presence known again, Talia turns to face it, intending to make good on her earlier promise. Realizing that the dog is moving too fast for her to track with the heavier weapon, Talia instead flicks on the safety and drops the weapon. Yes, she drops the firearm; kids, don't try this at home. Fortunately, the weapon has been modified such that the safety isn't able to be knocked loose from a simple impact, and the thing doesn't discharge accidentally. As for the dog? Talia raises one arm to meet 'Max', intercepting the bites with the coat, although after the earlier chewing, the armor quickly begins to give way. There's an expression of clear pain on Talia's face, but she maintain her position, and begins her work: When she raised her arm, there was a fine metal wire in her hand. She uses that to quickly wrap and bind the animal, and once it's tied off, she simply lets go of the wire, allowing the dog to fall from her arm, immobilized.
".. You need to learn to contain your pets. Were I better at hand to hand fighting, he would be dead now." Ignoring the dropped weapon, Talia sprints towards Mimiru, turning slightly at the last moment to charge past her. As she passes, several fast finger strikes are aimed at Mimiru's side, all aimed to both aggravate the existing injuries, and strike other pressure points.

It's not like Mimiru's in shape to do much at this rate. The dog was pretty much the only thing that stood in her way between Talia and her, but as the woman actually assaults the downed girl, after a shot of shotgun, the official actually interfers. Because Mimiru simply can't defend herself. She just wriggles and groans in pain, more blood pouring out from her injuries, gushing out slightly
"Stop that!" The official shout as he tries to push Talia away, "The fight's over, it's over..." He says, frowning a bit at her. Of course it doesn't take long for the medical team to rush in and all and the whole emergency stuff to get going. Someone should have stopped this earlier, shouldn't they? Well this is just how things turn to be.
Talia gives the official an intense glare, her expression promising a great deal of pain if he attempts to touch her further. Turning away from Mimiru and the crew, she walks over to fetch her shotgun. After she's picked it up, she gives another disgusted look at the dog. Stepping around behind it, she gives one kick to it. It's not enough to really hurt the animal, but it shows her displeasure once again. After this, she then glances at a nearby camera. ".. there's a difference between tools and pets." That said, she walks off; she's done here.
