Description: Facing off in a Justice High classroom, Kensou and Kim kick each other a lot! Actually, there's some punching and throwing and energy blasting, too. (Winner: Kim)
League fight! It's just something /anyone/ can get excited about, isn't it? It most certainly is! It has always been known for the exotic stages that both fighters and managers of the event alike have picked out. This time, however, it seems that the Neo League has picked out something VERY different for their competitors today --
A highschool classroom.
At JUSTICE HIGH!!
How oddly appropriate for one of the fighters they have here today. This is a larger classroom, of course, incredibly spacious, and with stadium-seating. Class is obviously out; save for camera crew, there is no one here save for the fighters. One of which has gotten here early to finish his stretches, and make sure he was completely prepared. Crouched on one of the desks at the highest level of the classroom is the Korean Hero of Justice, Kim Kaphwan! Smiling wide, he simply waits in that crouched position for his opponent, giving a slow, easy roll of his neck.
Well, being here is certainly invigorating!!
Justice High is actually a place of variable fortune, for Sie Kensou. When he participated in the Schools Tournament here, he had great success... Though he did lose in the finals. And he later had a Saturday Night Fight outside the school, with a very close showing against Eagle. So, maybe... Maybe it's enough to make the Chinese fighter feel a bit better about his chances. Anyway, at least he's not fighting on another /carousel/.
Kensou is not early, however; he's pretty much just on time, strolling on into the classroom where they're supposed to be fighting, and looking around at the set-up cameras, and all. "Hooboy," says the youth, scrubbing a hand through his hair; he's very mindful of the news about property damage resulting from League fights, but if he could manage to not damage Mount Rushmore, surely he can do the same in a classroom! "Well, I'm ready whenever!" he says to the League official, then looking over at Kim. He just... Has to do better than last time!
Ooh. Kensou! Of course, Kim remembers the young man well enough, so when he enters he is greeted with a grin and the slight cant of Kim's head. Remarkable skill for someone his age. There are so many like that, who show such great potential! That's why he knows -- this is going to be a good fight. So, he stretches his legs easily enough, and then...
LEAPS up to land on another desk halfway down, hitting the top of the desk in a combat-ready position!
"Alright then, I'm not going to hold anything back! Do the same!!"
And since Kensou has proclaimed he's ready, Kim nods once before he LEAPS off of that desk he was on -- right towards Kensou. He doesn't go for what one might expect, however; instead of starting out with those classic bicycle kicks, the man instead attempts to grasp onto Kensou's leg and shoulder, and with a twist, send him flying through the air.
"Huah!!" Time to start!!

Hey, this probably isn't good. Kensou's still getting ready when Kim goes on the attack, so he's pretty surprised at the sudden throw... Just not surprised enough that it entirely works, as while he gets tossed, the Psycho Soldier rolls when he hits the floor further down, dispersing most of the impact pretty handily. "Heh, not quite!" he jokes, and brings his hands up in front of his face, quickly gathering energy. He sweeps his hands out a split-second later, and in the air in front of him a sphere of energy coalesces, crackling blue-white Psycho Power the size of a beachball hurtling towards Kim. "Choukyuudan!!"

Not quite? Good then! Kim is pleased that Kensou manages to absorb the impact of his toss with great effectiveness. He's still alert and ready though, so as that blue sphere of psi-energy comes flying his way, the Korean is prepared. Both hands snap upwards, intercepting the blast, and in one smooth motion, he /disperses/ it all, snapping either hand to the side. He's running even as he blocks the assault, though; and he has every intention of knocking Kensou solidly upside the head with a single, swift jump kick. "ORYA!"

"Tch," mutters Kensou quietly as his psychic blast is defended against, but it's not like he has too much time to worry about it, as... Here comes Kim again. However, TWO can play at the kicking a lot game! For a moment, the youth's lean body tenses, and at the last instant he springs off the ground in a diagonal leap, /straight at Kim/. "Yaaa-!!" he cries, smashing his left elbow and knee simultaneously into the Taekwondo fighter, whose kick impacts the boy's side, much less effectively than he was likely intending it to. But Kensou isn't finished, instead twisting at the waist to smash his right knee into Kim's chest. "Hyaaa-!!" And then, he does something really, really impressive, twisting around and inverting in midair, extending his left leg to smash it down in an axe kick at the older fighter's shoulder, to send him careening towards the ground. "Uryaa--!!"
Well, that hurt! Much less than it could have, however, Kicks /are/ Kim's specialty after all, and those series of blows all do their damage... just not as much as it might have to others. They all send him staggering, before Kensou completes the motion with an overhead axe-kick, sending Kim to the ground. Except, his hands are there to catch him before he falls completely. "Great!!" Kensou's been working hard, hasn't he? Good! But Kim doesn't allow the boy reprieve today. Instead, as soon as his hands hit the ground, he's pushing off them in a leap, intent on slamming his feet right against Kensou's head with impressive force. And if it connects, as soon as Kim lands, he thrusts out an open palm -- to slam it into Kensou's sternum, and send him flying.

Well, Kensou /was/ going to be flipping all acrobatically back down to the ground, but it doesn't seem like he's going to get his way. Instead, the Psycho Soldier, who tries to deflect Kim's kick, gets knocked to the ground and then hit with that palm strike, flung back at the far wall of the class. Ow, ow. Dang. Ow. Getting his footing again, the boy rushes at Kim, feinting with a quick left straight before trying for his /actual/ attack, smashing his right elbow across Kim's face. "Yo-!"

What's this--whoa! Kensou's trying a fake-out! And it almost succeeds too, except Kim is /just/ fast enough to be able to see it coming, and react in time. Eyes widening for a split second as he sees the right elbow coming instead of the left fist, he snaps his LEFT hand out, grasping the elbow firmly, and allowing most of the force to diffuse through his arm. He allows himself a brief grin, before he leaps into the air, pushing off Kensou's elbow for added momentum. And when he falls, he falls with a series of lightning-fast bicycle kicks, all aimed and smacking Kensou in the face, shoulders and chest. "KYAAA!!"

Not this time, Kim! Instead, Kensou gets his arms in the way of the other fighter's numerous powerful kicks, diffusing the brunt of the damage with a practised guard. Then the question becomes: What to do next? The youth leaps back after Kim finishes his attack, letting the older fighter regain his footing rather than launching an immediate counterattack, because he's... Reaching behind his back for something? But what?! Actually, it's a piping hot meat bun, which Kensou, naturally, then pops into his mouth and eats.
Ah, yes. The meat bun! This time Kim's NOT confused about what that particular thing will do, and he'll be damned if he pauses at all during this fight. Not that he did before, but that's not the point! Even as Kensou lifts the meat bun and Kim lands, he's already darting across to assault Kensou with another attack -- intent on leaping up, and grasping Kensou's neck with his very legs, Kim has every intention of tossing the Psycho Power-wielding youngster into one of the walls of the classroom with the momentum that continues to carry him through the air. "ORYA!!"

Mmm, delicious! Kensou is renewed and invigorated by the bun, but he doesn't manage to duck out of the way of Kim's grab like he was intending to; instead, he's grabbed and tossed back into the wall with a painful-sounding thud, but he's not down for long. "Ain't quite enough!!" he calls in a bit of a taunt at the older fighter, running at Kim to actually copy part of what was just done to him; he leaps in a dropkick-type motion to try and catch Kim's neck with his ankles, and if he hits, he throws his weight around to twist the Taekwondo fighter right off of his footing and into the floor painfully. "Yaaa-!!"

Okay -- that one hurt a little bit! Kim winces as his neck is grabbed, and he is shoved quite suddenly into the ground below. It hurts, but the pain is only fuel to lift up Kim's determination all the more! Eyes narrowing. his legs press against the ground, and he just as suddenly PUSHES off the ground, leaping into the air -- with every intention of smashing his feet into Kensou's face, hard. "HUAH!!" And after that, he'll push off to flip through the air, and land some distance away, with a light hop and narrowed eyes filled with DETERMINATION.

Crap crap crap! Kim never seems to let up, which is definitely keeping Kensou on his toes this time; at least he's having more success than he did the last time the two of them clashed. So here comes Kim again, and Kensou... Steps forward. The kick doesn't hit squarely, but it still hits /painfully/, and the boy's hand thrusts past Kim's kicks to strike him, open-palmed; and then, a blast of blue-tinged white energy escapes his hand, smashing into Kim at point-blank range and sending the Taekwondo fighter hurtling away, towards the wall. "Hua-!" Of course, Kensou doesn't feel too good after that either, trying to catch his breath.
Geeze! Kim should really see this sort of thing coming -- it happens to him a lot. But then again, one might assume that he just doesn't care enough. This is fun, after all! So, even as the energy smacks into him and sends him flying, smoke rising off his chest -- he still looks happy. In pain, of course, lips curled into something that suggests 'OW', but his eyes are still alight. And as soon as he hits the wall -- he hits it feet first. His legs tense, and he pushes RIGHT off, intent on flying towards Kensou with one knee extended, to slam it into the young man's chest. "ORYA!!"

Wow, that's... Impressive! Kensou's reaction is to try and get out of the way, but no dice it seems; instead, he gets kicked in the chest, staggering backwards. "Hah," he half-coughs, wiping his mouth with the back of one hand... And then he drops back into his fighting stance, closing his eyes and focusing his internal energies. His fighting outfit and hair stir lightly in an otherwise unfelt breeze, as Kensou draws on his reserves of Psycho Power, apparently preparing himself for one last, bit push...!!

Whoa--!! It seems Kensou's preparing for something, there's no doubt about that! Kim's eyes widen a touch at the sight of the other man charging up that Psycho Powaaaah. But then, those eyes narrow. Drive fills up that dark-brown gaze as his legs spread out. They tense, briefly, and what does he do? He rushes RIGHT TOWARDS Kensou even as he so impressively begins to gather his power. "HUUUAAAAAAAAAH!!" And as soon as he gets close enough? Kim FLIPS backwards, with every intention of slamming both feet into Kensou's jaw, hard, even as he continues the flip and lands some small distance away, in splits.

The thing about taking risks is that they don't always pan out. For example, Kensou right this moment. As Kim charges in for an attack, Kensou is about to try /something/, but what isn't clear, because he gets kicked right in the jaw, stumbling backwards. "Gah!!" he says, the energy he was preparing dissipating harmlessly. Okay, this... This is really, really not good.
The kick lands successfully, and Kim? He lands in a split, even as whatever energy Kensou was about to completely blow him up with simply becomes no more. Well... that much is good, at least. Because whatever Kensou was planning, it looked like it was going to /hurt/. Still! Justice does not stop! And like some inexplicably energetic fangirl chasing down Sephiroth's voice actor at an anime convention, Kim rushes towards Kensou once more -- this time with every intention of slamming both hands on the boy's shoulders before tossing him into the air. If successful, he leaps, spins gracefully -- and slams a single foot into Kensou's gut, to send him crashing into the ground.

Alas, and it seemed like Kensou was doing so well, earlier. He was doing great! He was doing awesome! But now it seems he's lost the momentum of the fight... And heck, he can't even get out of the way of Kim's throw. Kensou gets smashed into the ground, and you know /that/ sucks pretty bad... But Kensou's not going to stay down. Instead, he's going to spring right back up, twisting around to swing his foot at the side of Kim's head, his kicking foot alight with a blue-tinged white glow of Psycho Power, a streak of the energy following the arc of his kick. "Uryaa-!!" But whatever happens after that? He's not going to be able to keep going.

Unfortunately... the beating that Kensou had received from Kim has done enough to keep his movements slow. In the meantime, the Korean is still completely energized and ready to fight, despite the rather harsh attacks the Psycho Soldier had smacked him around with. So that, when Kensou flies at him, Kim can /see/ it coming. And his response? Is to leap, RIGHT over Kensou, even as the psi-user attempts to kick him. It sends him right over the younger man's head to let him go sailing wherever, even as Kim lands in a crouch, instantly on his feet and spinning to meet any other attacks. ... wait. Kensou's down? Well. Kim will stare for a moment, blink, and then rub the back of his head. And in that same motion, that hand?
JUTS forward in a thumbs up. And his teeth? SHINE LIKE THE SUN!
"Good fight!! You've improved a lot, Kensou!"

However, Kensou's last grasp doesn't really take him that far, he just rolls a bit along the ground, and sits there, trying to catch his breath. Nope, he just plain can't go any further, and the League official has no choice but to call this one in Kim's favour. "Heheheh," he laughs sheepishly, at Kim's compliment. "Thanks, I think. Wasn't quite enough, though..." Is he regretful? A little! But at least he didn't have any points to lose. "Next time, I'll get ya!"
Well, at the very least, Kim is going to be sore for the next day or so. He rolls one of his shoulders with a slight wince, offering Kensou a brief smile. "Whenever you think you're ready to fight me again, you can find me at my dojo! I'll be more than happy to give you a run for your money. I'll even ask my wife to cook up some of those meat buns you seem to like so much!" Well, maybe she doesn't know how to make them. But THEY'LL SEE! For now? Kim lifts open one of the windows in the classroom... and leaps out. "HUAAAH!!"
There goes Justice's #1 defender!!
