Description: Juli vs Xiangfei. Xiangfei apparently has a lesson to teach Juli about 'appropriate reasons to fight'. Of course, Juli has to abort the lesson early by pummeling the girl.
Whew, it's just another chilly afternoon in ol' Chinatown Southtown, and that's not the kind of weather that a certain Heavenly HipHop Honey is very excited about. Our little chinese heroine lives in the slightly shadier part of southtown, it's not really worthy of being called the projects, you see. She's dressed in her sportswear, since Victoria's Secret let her keep the ensemble, and she's on her way up to Southtown Village to the mall! Humming a little tune, she pauses at the street that she and Juli had fought at before, which is for some reason still cut off. Maybe there's construction nearby? "... Huh, I wonder whatever happened with that woman... Ah well, I'll probably never see her again," she says, scritching her cheek lightly.
Xiang isn't the only one who hates winter. As far as Juli's concerned, it would be far better if it got over with and headed into a nice balmy summer say... in the next half hour. At least she's dressed for the weather in a blue puffy coat and denim jeans. Certainly not fashion wear in the slightest, but it serves the job of keeping Juli somewhat warm underneath.
Too bad it does nothing for the troubled feeling she has. To be honest, this league thing .hasn't. been going the way she wanted it to, at all. If she did any worse, she'd likely be scraping the bottom of the cellar--she's already off the ranked rosters. It's the sort of thing that Vega wouldn't be pleased with at all, to say the least, so Juli needs to do something about this. This is what brings her to the area she fought Xiangfei at last. Being roughly between Chinatown and the mall, it's as good a place as any to try and find the girl.
Xiangfei, on the other hand, doesn't feel any pressure at all for the league in particular; but this has already been made clear before. She's actually met a few people who've been frustrated about their results, including her rival Kensou!
Well anyway, after staring at the street a moment longer, she continues just a couple of steps forward before she catches sight of the brunette, her eyes widening suddenly in recognizition, "Woah!" that is -creepy-! "Juli! Hey, I was just thinking about you!" the chinese girl pipes with a grin as broad as always, "How've things been going for you, Miss Silent?" nothing is said for Juli's sense of fashion, or arguable lack therof- She actually likes puffy jackets herself.
A short pause when Xiangfei speaks up. Is the chinese girl speaking to her? Of course she is, that's her name, isn't it? Does Juli really want to say anything though? Well, a second or two of thought on the matter reveals a resounding 'yes'. While wandering silently over to punch the girl's a good way to start a fight, there's nothing in there that's the least bit polite.
"Me. Yes. How are you doing?" The words are polite enough, but in that tone? Definately formal, perhaps even 'uninterested'. And the stare is as creepy as ever. As she introduces herself, sort of, she heads towards Xiangfei.
Xiangfei... more or less gives a bit of a nervous chuckle, rubbing the back of her head. Yes, the words were polite, but uh... The tone was certainly a little out there in her book, "Oh I'm doing all right, nothing special really," she replies, her eyes shifting a bit before refocusing on the woman before her, and slips her hands within the pockets of her hoodie, "I was just curious, as it'd been a while," she then adds, "Have you discovered a different meaning for fighting, yet?"
Juli blinks, once, at the question. It's a seriously odd one, and she stares at the other woman for a moment before answering. "Fighting is to win. Fighting is for improving yourself so you can win. This is a rather stupid question. Why are you asking it?" As Juli answers that, she starts to unzip her coat exposing the black sweatshirt underneath. She's more than likely looking for a fight even as she answers--and the coat would only get in the way.
And a frown is responded to Julis comment, and she rubs the back of her head, "Geez, are you serious? I asked because I thought there was a deeper meaning behind your reason you're fighting... It's obvious you're hellbent on trying to beat people up, and... Well, it seems like you're doing it just for the sake of being able to beat the crap out of people That's really disappointing," she doesn't hesitate much longer though, as she can tell what's about to happen, she hopping back a little, her hands clapping together; she fans her fingertips out, and then her golden aura roats upward, the pillar of chi coming into existance and sweeping and swirling about her form, "This time I'll beat you and you'll hopefully understand you're going down the wrong path!"

Now isn't that interesting. Apparently, Xiangfei hasn't heard of her latest horrible record at beating people up. If Juli was doing it for the sheer thrill of beating people up, she's probably some sort of masochist instead of a sadist. Be that as it may, if it's a fight Xiangfei wants, it's a fight Juli's more than willing to provide. She sort of wanted one, anyways. Once she's out of her coat, exposing the black sweatshirt she wears underneath, Juli tosses it casually on a bikerack, then eyes Xiangfei closely while the chinese girl gathers chi.

Xiangfei hasn't been keeping up on people's records! This is different than the medals tournament, where it was actually rather important to keep track of people's standings, so it's more or less a bit of ignorance on her part. She's not surprised when Juli doesn't respond, in fact, it's just as she would have expected! The woman doesn't make her move though, and as such, neither does the kung-fu fighter, her palms shifting a little as the upwind tosses her hair up a bit higher, the golden pillar continuing to spin and build, her eyes widening a bit, "YaaAAAH!"

Well, Xiangfei can't be allowed to do this forever. Once she's found an opening she can exploit on the girl, Juli charges forward. After a few steps, Juli takes to the air in a jump kick, her body twisted to the side, one leg in front of her while the other trails behind. If she were a man, the odd split she takes in midair would likely be rather painful. Not being a guy, she hopes it's more painful to Xiangfei than it is to her.

Wow that is a -fast- kick!! And so athletic too, Xiangfei is caught completely off-guard by its speed, and doesn't even have time to bring up her defenses, "What the-" is all she gets before she gets slammed by Juli's attack, the golden chi dying immedietly as it sends her reeling back, crashing onto her back. But she quickly kip-ups to her feet, the chinese girl slipping a hand into her pocket, and when it comes back out, hand tightens into a fist- A simple flick of her thumb then sends the unpocketed coin flying toward Juli's forehead like a little bullet, "Hah!"
At the glint of metal leaving Xiangfei's pocket, Juli's ready for it. It's not too often that one gets beaned in the forehead with a coin hard enough to draw blood. It's certainly not something you're likely to forget anytime soon. While Juli doesn't have a coin to throw at the girl, it's not like it's a huge object. A quickly packed snowball--as in 'reach down, grab some snow, squeeze once and throw'--should be sufficient to do something about it.

That's good quick thinking on Julis part, yes. good ol' snow is nature's best friend! And Xiang is suprised by just how fast the thing comes screaming back at her, "Er," in a rather desperate attempt, she just... kicks some snow back at the ball, but it doesn't do much more than slow it down as she gets smacked in the chest by it anyway, making her grunt a little, "Nngh!" Sure that was a snowball andnot an ice ball?? "... Erg... Not looking good," she mumbles to herself, holding her chest and taking a moment to get her breath back.
Juli still remembers the last time she fought Xiangfei. It was Juli's fight clear up until right about up to the end. Worse, she even let the girl get a break during the fight, and her brief moment of weakness was rewarded by having Xiangfei turn the entire thing around. Not this time. Not even giving Xiangfei a chance to catch her breath, Juli closes the distance between the two fighters and grabs for the back of Xiangfei's head with one hand, shoulders with the other. If she succeeds in getting both hands on her, she'll try to overpower the girl down and smother her in the snow. Wet and cold, wouldn't that be fun?

Xiangfei can't fault Juli for her strategy- Xiangfei is quite well known for taking a big bite out of someones momentum if she's given the chance! ... But luck is a big factor in that, and thus far, the match is just becoming deja-vous in a different sense. Juli breaks through her guard again, sending her crashing into the wet snow for sure with a weak squeak, feeling one heck of a chill even in her new clothes! Wheezing a bit, she does manage the strength to get back up again though, handspringing upward and trying to kick across at Julis shoulder, "Hah!" and should that connect, this would leave the the dolls side open so that Xiang can spin and slam her elbow right into her ribs ni the quickly executed combination, "Hah! Hai!"

Or maybe Juli'll just sideshift and push Xiang's feet away. Xiangfei meeting the force of Juli's arm sweeping out against her foot has a predictable effect. With so much energy going up, and little to stabilize it on the sides, Juli puts Xiangfei back where she wants the girl, on the ground. From there, it's simply a matter of letting her foot crash down on Xiangfei's prone body. A low blow, but Juli's not an assassin for her sense of fairplay.

There comes a point in the fight where a fighter starts to get a little desperate... This just happens to be one of those times right now! Xiangfei has to use her ace in the hole, while she may look prone, she's actually right back on that ball, the kick flying down and slamming right onto her forehead.. But her lashing palm continues to rush out, belting the asassin right in the gut, "HAH!!" this is then followed up by a double-palm strike, "YAH!" to knock the woman a little off balance; the combination is finalized as she twirls around and then slams her shoulder into the woman with another suprisingly strong blow, "KYAAAAAH!" and after her breathing starts to pick up, hoping she at least put a dent in the woman.. (Man.. She's so fast.. This is rediculous!) she thinks to herself.
Her kick's met with a flury of blows in a fast combination that Juli's left herself wide open for. After that final shoulder slam, Juli staggers back and almost slips in the snow before she gets her feet underneath her again. Yes, it had an affect on her, and Juli's starting to grow a large bruise on her abdomen, one that her psychopower will have fun dealing with after the fight when she's had a chance to calm down and focus on healing. It's just a bruise though, and Xiangfei certainly looks like she's been through the wringer.
Even after collecting her first hit of the match, Juli doesn't let the girl get a break. As soon as Juli finds her feet again, she pushes herself forward to continue the assault. Making a grab for Xiang's arm, she swings her feet up, trying to put all of her weight on that limb to pull the girl down, then snap it in a classic arm bar.

Xiangfei is starting to get frustrated here, it's becoming obvious again that conventional methods aren't the way to take down Juli. The woman sweeps down, and Xiang, somewhat familiar with holds, again tries to defend herself with no avail; the woman is just too quick! She lets out another yelp of pain, as the hold gets locked in good and one could think she doesn't have any options from this point- Not necessarily true, the little waitress leaps into the air and frontflips, relieving a good deal of pressure, and a ring of smoke billows from beneath her feet, that sends her blasting diagonally toward Juli, hoping to take the woman up into the sky, or at the very least break free from the hold, "HYAAAH!"

Well, the submission hold is broken. That's the good news. The bad news is that Juli simply fails to stick around to be hit. As soon as the hold's broken, Juli tucks and rolls in a backwards sumersault that lets her take a three point stance, her head lifted up to watch Xiangfei try and catapault her into the air.
"Focus on hitting me. Not making rude noises." Juli states in a bland tone as she once again sidesteps a would be crushing attack. Of course, Juli's there to meet Xiangfei with an elbow to the back of herhead when she realizes there the girl's going to land after her gymnastics.

Xiangfei doesn't really have a response for Julis comment, at least not a first, since she's stating the obvious, "Trying!" she snaps back, and she even takes that advice by lashing out at the woman despite her quick strike coming- Though this gamble isn't as desperate; she had a feeling she'd be able to keep standing even if she couldn't connect. What she didn't count on however was the blow hitting her hard enough to make her dizzy, and the waitress staggers back, a hand to her forehead and swaying a little with a weak groan, "... Ugh.." she gives her head a hard shake, now wasn't a good time to be getting headaches!
"Try harder."
It's amazing what an entirely flat voice can sound like in the appropriate situation. In this one, utterly heartless. Allowing Xiangfei a moment to stagger around, Juli realizes she really .does. want the girl to remain laying down on the ground, so she bodychecks the girl, a fast, hard slam of her hips and side against Xiangfei's front to push her off balance .. and hopefully the snow and her already groggy head will do the rest.
