And just the darndest of things happen when you're just taking it easy on some completely random cruise ship. Said ship is headed toward another part of Japan, but that's not what's important. What's important is that today, there's been a match scheduled for the Neo League, and one Xiang's been anticipating for some time now!
The front of the ship is a pretty open area, it's perfect for fighting, with a nice, shiny wooden floor, and.. Well, it just looks nice in general, all right?
Li Xiangfei is freezing! It's one thing to be out getting your boat on in the Summer, but the early winter? "It's so COLD!" the chinese girl cries, checking her watch as the fight should be starting soon, the lights and the cameras all set and ready to go! She's dressed up in her usual fighting ensamble, though she's wearing a denim jacket over her top, hugging herself. Maybe she should have worn something heavier today, "Ken-Ken! Where ARE YOU!" she finally yells, flailing her arms.
It's probably not going to look nice for long with a fight happening, there! And where is Sie Kensou, anyway? The other participant in this Neo League fight is just arriving, in his usual fighting attire. Who cares if it's cold out? He's wearing shorts anyway. The Psycho Soldier has made /one/ addition, though, as the bandana he got from Leona during the PPV event hangs from his belt. So if he's a Psycho Soldier /and/ an honorary Ikari Warrior, clearly he is twice the soldier. Which is at least a billion times more of a soldier than Xiangfei! "Geez, wouldja stop callin' me that?" the younger Chinese fighter says irritably, as he makes the scene, tugging his gloves on tighter while taking a position opposite Xiangfei. "I ain't some little kid, y'know." Well, maybe in comparison to the old and wrinkly Hip Hop Honey he is.
Xiangfei gives a rather satisfied grin, not only to Kensous voice, but his obvious irritation of his brand-spanking new nickname.. In fact, the grin becomes a little more on the smug side, "Oh yeah? I bet you wouldn't mind if -Athena- called you that, would you?" she teases, hooking her fingers into her mouth and sticking out her tongue afterward, "Biii-- Hey!"
Her eyes most certainly notice that bandana, and Xiang immedietly looks annoyed; after all, she was the official Ikari laundry-washer for a while, what's Kensou do that was so great to earn that bandana? Her lips curl inward a moment, and then she shakes her head, "Is this some sort of joke? So what, you're some sort of Ikari now? I'll have you know I'm actually pretty good friends with Ralf! I'm not going to have you moving in on my homeboys as well!" she buttons up her jacket, and finally stomps her foot, setting into her battle stance, "I'm going to tear you up now!"

What did Kensou do that was so great? He /KOed Xiangfei/, didn't he? His eyes narrow faintly when the former waitress has the gall to bring up Athena, but oh! It's terribly satisfying that she's been distracted from the rest of her taunting. "Well, Leona gave it t' me after the fight, an' I ain't so rude as t' mistreat a gift," the Psycho Soldier replies, giving Xiangfei a look that would be best described as 'amused and dubious'. Oh, poor Li, he's not taking you seriously at all! "Also... 'Homeboys'? D'you actually listen t' yourself when ya speak, or does it all just spill out?" Anyway, Kensou likewise assumes his usual combat stance, his eyes focused closely on the other fighter. "Well, c'mon an' prove y'ain't all talk," he says confidently, beckoning her on as the League official announces the start of the fight!

Big, fat hairy deal! Ain't no thing! But Xiangfei has her ways to show her rage, and while she's not seriously raging at the moment, instead just shaking a fist to the bun-eating psycho soldier who thinks he's so great. He's not so great at all, and she'll prove it! "Wh.. Wh... You got a problem??" she cries, taking a slight step back and claps her hands togeather, fans her fingertips out, and then draws her palms out, leaving her thumb and pointer fingers pressed togeather- In an instant her trusty pillar of chi roars to life, swirling about her body like woah, "You're just trippin' 'cause you can't be -nearly- as hot as I am!" Hot in the cool sense, not as in good-looking. Though she's that, too. "And you can't tell me what to do, -you- come to -me-!"

Man. Kensou has /no idea/ what Xiangfei is even /saying/. Of course, he's also tragically unhip... But he's happy that way. "Heh, fine, if that's really how y' wanna do this," Kensou says with a shrug, and then he takes off like a shot right at Xiangfei, running headlong towards her! Oh no, what sort of madness could he possibly have planned now?! Well, whatever it is, he jumps shortly before reaching ol' Xiangfei, twisting himself completely around in midair to swing his right foot at her damn head in a spectacularly acrobatic maneuver. Naturally, his foot is alight with blue-tinged white Psycho Power, a streak of energy following the motion of his kick. "Uryaa-!"

Ow ow ow ow ow ow ow ow! There's one thing Xiangfei -really- hates about Kensou, and that is that his psycho-tinged attacks hurt no matter what the heck she does! One time she thought it was simply a case of mind over matter, but that even barely works in defending these things. The kick though, is simple enough, despite the weak groan that passes her lips, arms crossing in front of her head. She's busy shaking off the pain, giving Kensou a little time to land, and then the waitress strikes back, "HYAH!" not with anything fancy, her usual quick combination of chop across the chest and then stomping forward with a palm strike, "Hai! Hah!"

Hopping back off the block, Kensou flips to land spryly on his feet, dropping back into his fighting stance... Just in time for Xiangfei to go back on the offensive. The chop and the palm strike just hit Kensou's crossed forearms, each drawing a faint grunt from the Psycho Soldier, who then pushes /back/ on Xiangfei, trying to throw her off-balance and slip past her guard as he first feints with his right fist, and then twists and swings one foot right up at her face, for a standing high kick. "Yaa-!"

Off-balance isn't exactly what Kensou gets, but he -does- still get himself a free strike! And that's not such a bad thing, right? And there's a method to the chinese girls madness, lets just hope it pays off; when his high kick slams into Xiangfeis -forehead-, (due to her awesome crouching skills) "Hnnnf!" she feels it, but it puts her in theoretically a perfect position for one of her more complicated techniques. While takeing the hit, her hands clap again, and she makes a motion as if pulling a string from her right palm and that palm sweeps forward to slap Kensou in the chest. If she's so lucky to get that tag, her fingertips curl inward and an unseen force slams into Kens gut to knock him the heck over, "HYAH!"

Aw, crabcakes. With Xiangfei coming in like that, it seems that Kensou isn't fast enough to avoid her throw attempt... Although it's not like he doesn't try. However, Kensou gets blasted back, hitting the deck of the cruise ship pretty hard and skidding along. Naturally, he doesn't stay down long, hopping back up to his feet easily, and bringing his hands up in front of his face. "C'mon, y' can do better'n that, right?" he wonders as he gathers energy, and then he sweeps his hands out. "Choukyuudan!" he cries, launching a crackling sphere of blue-tinged white Psycho Power across the deck, right at Xiangfei!

Xiangfei rolls her eyes to Kensous goading, and she's about to take it in stride at first.. But then suddenly the world knows better than that, "What?? You lie! LIE LIE LIE!!" she yells, "That hurt you big liar!" and then what does she get for her trouble? A giant sphere of psycho power! Her eyes widen, and she goes into a series of backflips, having a rather desperate idea, until she reaches the edge of the deck and grabs.. A lifesaver! Literally! With the blast hot on her tail, she only has a moment to focus a bit of chi into it before whipping it like a giant buzzsaw, "HAH!" amazingly it cuts the blast in two, sending the halves flying past her harmlessly, leaving Kensou to deal with her flying object, "...... Wow, that worked."

DAMMIT THAT IS NOT RIGHT AT ALL. How did some dinky-ass life preserver go through his Psycho Power projectile like that? That irritates Kensou so much that he doesn't even manage to get out of the way of said life preserver, even though it's slow as hell, though it's not like it hurts much. It's just, you know, /irritating/. "Dammit... Guess you got lucky for once!!" the younger Chinese fighter calls out, reassuming his stance and tensing, starting to gather Psycho Power. Tiny lights of energy, like a whirlwind of blue fireflies, swirl around him as he bolsters his power. "Haaa-!"

Xiangfei grins rather smugly at Kensou, "Lucky?" she replies, "It's no different from a chinese throwing star, Ken-Ken!" she's looknig rather proud for a moment, but then she actually pales a little once Kensou starts to gather some hardcore fury though, absolutly nothing good is going to come from that, "... Oh crap,"
The Heavenly Hip-Hop Honey only has a couple seconds to formulate a plan, and so she sprints at the boy, using the only thing she can think of at the moment; chi attack! once she's close enough to Kensou, her palms thrust outward and a large blast of her own bright, blue chi is shot toward him, hoping to send him staggering back at least, "KAAAH!"

Hardcore fury? Man... Xiangfei hasn't even /seen/ hardcore fury yet. The blast of chi again meets Kensou's guard stinging a bit... But it's nothing he can't manage. "Tch," mutters the Psycho Soldier. Well, if that's how she wants to play... Who is Kensou to disagree? "Y' think that's good enough, Xiangfei?" he wonders, reaching behind his back. Oh yes, it's time for... /That move/. From behind his back, he produces a piping-hot meat bun, which he holds out dramatically for a few moments. "I'm just gettin' started!!" And then he pops the meat bun in his mouth, and starts to chew. Mmm, yeah.
Xiangfei's eyes widen. Oh no.. Oh NO HE DIDN'T just do that!
"Wh.. Y.. You!!" Xiangfei cries, because even though her rival does it all the time, she's still completely floored in shock when he breaks out with that totally delicious meatbun! It looks sooo gooood!! Weep weep.
"I -hate- when you do that, why do you always do that??" she yells, and she flips out! Xiangfei zooms! thrusting one palm to slam into the boys side, which is followed by her dangerous double-palm strike right after if the first connects, "Hyah! Hah!!" and finally she twirls around and finishes the combination with the baddest shoulder-rush you ever did see, "HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!!!"

Well, dammit. Kensou eats the bun... But suddenly he looks kind of grossed out. "Ew, that was a pizza bu--Oh crap!!" here comes the Xiangfei train! Well, he tries to get out of the way, but... No such luck. Instead, he gets bashed around by Xiangfei's combination, staggering and turning to try a speedy snap-kick, aimed at the the former waitress' side. "Haa-!" No, this fight is totally not going well, but it's not like he's out of it yet!

Xiangfei looks a bit relieved once Kensou chokes on his own bun, and actually looks a little victorious about that rather than her powerful attack combination. But the celebration is short lived, Kensou lands that snap kick much faster than she can get out of the way and gives a weak squeak of pain as she leans to the side, "Rrgh," she groans, still light on her own feet.. She tries to make up for it though, throwing another fast combination at the boy, delivering her own snap roundhouse kick to the side, but it's followed by another palm strike toward the chest, "Hup, hai! This match is mine, you know!"

See, now, Xiangfei... Don't go counting your chickens before they're hatched, as they say. Kensou grits his teeth and puts his arm in the way of that big ol' kick, which stings a little... But he forestalls that palm strike with his /own/ palm strike, except when his hand hits Xiangfei's sternum there's a powerful flash of blue-tinged white energy, Psycho Power impacting Xiangfei like a shotgun blast at point blank range. The force is quite sufficient to send the poor girl flying away, and it probably hurt a little, too!
..... OH MY HOLY OW. Translation, holy crap that hurt! And it hurt something fierce! Xiang was already annoyed that she couldn't gather the strength to pull off some real pain again, and so she gets some in turn, Psychoawesome! "YEOW!!" not fair, this was totally her fight! The smaller fighter indeed goes flying, and crashes along the deck until she hits th railing, knocked for quite a loop after that hit, ".... Oh man.." she groans, holding her head, ".. That sucked." she struggles a little bit to get to her feet, and with a light growl, she raises one of her hands to her lips, muttering something nasty under her breath as her eyes lock onto her opponent. The pain train? IT'S COMING.

Honestly, Kensou's had quite enough of riding on the pain train. It seems to happen to him all the time, and he's really thinking of turning in his ticket. Forever and ever. And ever. "C'mon, Xiangfei! I thought you had this match in the bag!" the Psycho Soldier laughs, reaching behind his back to produce... Another meatbun! Snaps, is he planning to heal himself again? Well, actually, it seems like that's not the case, as he winds up and hucks it right at the older fighter's face. Pain train indeed. Xiangfei should watch out, though, as this is a scalding hot pizza bun!

And boy has she got a plan for Kensou, for she reaches into her wrist gaurd drawing out a yen-coin, and with a simple flick of her thumb, the coin swipes right -through- the bun and right toward bun-boys forehead, believe it! And while he's dealing with that, the now messy bun is caught and she tosses it from hand to hand, blowing it, "Oooh hot hot hot.."

"Tch," mutters Kensou, reaching behind his back for another bun! And he eats this one. Hopefully he didn't jinx himself with another damn pizza bun, because otherwise he's... Kinda running out of steam, over here.
*sizzle* "G'AAAAH!" Xiangfei cries, tossing the bun still and she refuses to drop it, she completely refuses to! Though the cool air is helping out a little bit here, she's stuck with having to deal with the bun for a moment. So Dum dee do, Kensou can eat his bun, because she has her own now, and soon she's able to take a nice big bite! *CHOMP* ".... Mmmnn..."

"C'mon, Xiangfei, what's that supposedta be?" he wonders, before dashing straight towards the older Chinese fighter again, and leaping forward into another jump kick! Another /Psycho Powered/ jump kick. "Uryaa-!" Don't choke on your food now, Xiangfei!

Xiangfei is EATING, FOOL! Don't disturb her! And Kensou has to go and disturb her, that little punk. The leaping kick slams her right in the back of the head, but her free hand lashes out in such a way that strikes the Psycho Soldier in a paralyzing pressure point, the bun in her mouth, "Mmpn!" For a moment, Kensous powerful blow is slow to respond to- She swings out her right hand, windmilling it to join her left as it gathers up the chi within her form. Her eyes narrow, and she then proceeds to release burst after burst of chi right into the boy, giving him another taste of her family technique! And the final, largest blast should send him reeling back, if Kensou isn't doing anything sneaky!
*gulp* Now -she's- the revitalized one! ".. I'm sorry, did you say something?" she asks, completely oblivious to the fact that now she's in super saiajin mode!
Ow, dangit. Kensou gets knocked back all right, and he's... Well, he's pretty beat, honestly. But that doesn't mean he's just going to sit down and give up, no way. "Heh, good one!" Kensou says, quite honestly; even with someone he doesn't much like, such as Xiangfei, he can make such an admission! After all, it's not as though there are any hard feelings in this match. ...Well, okay, it's not like there's too /many/. Against most people, Kensou wouldn't do what he's about to do, you see. But he's sick and tired of his losing streak in the league, and his losing streak against Xiangfei in singles matches. He's playing for keeps! Which is why he eats /another/ meatbun. It's really not his usual preference, but he knows he's almost down, so he'll have to do whatever it takes to win!

And that's part of what makes Kensou such a great rival for Xiangfei, he may be annoying, but he's a tough customer, and for a while, their matches haven't been one sided! Feeling a sudden bit of exhaustion though, she hesitates in taking her next step, what.. What should she do this time? Should she lash out at Kensou again after seeing that tasty bun? Or should she pull herself togeather again? She doesn't have long to think about it though, so she just acts on instinct, slapping her hands togeather and builds up a little more power, eyes narrow as she takes another chance. Hopefully it won't tilt things away from her favor, "HAH!" as the golden pillar roars again.

Obviously they're both getting ready to totally unleash their most badass of techniques on each other here! "Haaaa--!" Truly, it might come down to just these next few instants!

That ain't enough t' stop me!" declares Kensou, who then proceeds to run flat-out at Xiangfei, before dropping to baseball-slide his way towards her, hoping to catch her by one ankle and stagger her! If he manages that, then Kensou will kick /up/, knocking Xiangfei into the air, before launching himself up after her for a vicious, acrobatic midair kicking combination designed to put her away for good, ending with a brutal kick to slam her back onto the ship's deck! "HYAAA--!!"

Though while the attack Kensou broke out with wasn't exactly what she had been expecting, she's actually -glad- she's facing what she has to, "Hmmn," the kick sends her a bit up in the air, because she has to block it full on instead of deflecting it, though she manages to push herself away with the kick that follows, landing in a crouch, slides back just a little, and shakes her arms out, "Ow ow ow," she hisses, and then BOOM! She's into action again, the same combination before with a killer palm strike, double-palm strike, and finally the twirling shoulder-rush, "Hup! Hai! YAH!" Is this it???

Man, that's not even fair. Kensou can't seem to catch a break anymore - but then again, when /can/ he? - and he gets quite solidly hit by Xiangfei's attack. But he's not just going to give up there, you know! No way! The shoulder rush staggers him, but he twists around at Xiangfei for one last attack, yelling as he puts all of his force into a wild swing at Xiangfei's face! "YAAAAAA-!!" If he hits, he follows it up with a further combination, before adding in his /own/ shoulder rush to knock her away! Hit or miss, though, Kensou falls to his knees, unable to continue. Alas!

Slamming back first against the guard rail again, she goes swirly eyed and then slumps forward, her fist drawn back again to counter attack.. Oh but no sir, she doesn't counter attack, instead she stands up straight and busts out laughing, "Oh is that all?? Aaaaah ha ha ha ha ha!! Ladies and gentelmen, the winner of this match!!!!"
