Description: The White Dragon, Yun, has been invited to the Kanzuki Centre of Excellence for the third round of the Rising Star Touranament, to face off against the still insistently-masked Blazing Panther.
With so many fights on the Rising Star brackets already finished, the Kanzuki estate has begun sending invitations to the fighters who have made it this fight-- for their next fights, in the Center of Excellence owned and run by the prestigious family.
And apparently so prestigious that not that many spectators are allowed on the premises directly. But to make up for it, ludicrous numbers of cameras have been set up in the massive training area to cover as many angles as possible and broadcast what transpires within to the whole world. ... Or, at least to everyone through the world who happen to have the channel turned over.
THe first fighter to step inside is a bit more on the curious side. Made known quickly for joining the tournament under a pseudonym rather than letting his real identity known, a young man with a shock of spiky red hair crosses the wide hall, with a crimson half-face mask pulled up to cover up his features from the middle of the bridge of his nose down, and a similiarly colored, long scarf coiled along his neck and left to flow along the back of his leather jacket-covered form.
The masked man moves all the way to the center of the gym, where the high-tech grid waiting for scenery to projected upon it awaits, his own green eyes drawing along it... but without all that much surprise, strangely enough. Maybe he's been here before, somehow?
Leave it to someone as boisterous as Yun Lee to make an entrance that probably should be more humble. Then again, Yang's always been the humble twin. Yun's the one that's too loud for either of their goods. Which is why the baseball cap wearing Dragon of the Wind & Clouds is making such a wild entrance.
Kickflipping his way in on his skateboard, Yun makes the rounds in the gym, skating all over the place and grinding on things he probably shouldn't be grinding on. It's all an effort to give the locals (and the viewers at home) a little pre-show skating action to get everyone as hype as humanly possible!
"When I say Yun, you say Wins! Yun!"
Yun has no idea if anybody's going to be chanting with him as he skates his way toward the center where all the high-tech shenanigans are going to go down. Either way, it looks like he's happy to be here.
Some poor attendant somewhere is probably going to get fired for letting a skateboard through like that.
The red-haired, masked Blazing Panther snaps his attention over to the approaching sound of a skateboard carrying chanting Yun on it, and-- he's forced to bounce off to the side out of fear of getting accidentally bowled into. The high tech grid along the floor probably complains pretty loudly when the board's wheels roll along it.
"W-w-w-what...?" The redhead mumbles in utter bemusement, eyes widened while they track Yun's skateboard-bound movements.
It's all about style and maybe little substance when Yun leaps off his skateboard, letting it roll off to the side while he somersaults himself into what he assumes will be the fighting area of this here match. It's all about trying to make an entrance and he's, at the very least, done that.
If people get fired? Oops.
The skateboard rolls off to a stop somewhere and Yun raises his hands in showoff victory as he makes his presence all the way known. "Haha! Let's get this show on the road! I've got a tournament to win!"
Yun flashes a big grin and points in the direction of the Blazing Panther for optimal trash talking fun camera angles.
The arc of the skateboard itself is followed for a second or so, too, after it's allowed to be sent off flying across the hall. And probably crash into some unfortunate person in the camera crew. Blazing Panther stares off after it, possibly with his mouth left hanging open underneath the concealment of that mask before he turns his focus back over to his opponent-to-be.
"U-uh... Is that right...?"
The young, red-haired man swallows nervously, and his head turns to the left, and then to the right to take count of the cameras focusing on the two of them. Oh god. So much attention. Maybe this was a bad idea afterall?
His legs shake subtly underneath him. Oh no. Stage fright is trying to set in.
"U-uhm! I'm, uh--" Akwardly, he shifts his feet and puts up his fists to assume a... clearly *very* untrained stance. THere's absolutely *nothing* that speaks of any kind of practiced style there. How did someone like this make it this far here?
"R-ready whenever you are."
Yun blinks. He actually has to blink a couple of times considering the way that the Blazing Panther is acting. The blink turns into a squint and then back to a blink because even Yun doesn't trust this but also there's a good chance that such nervousness can't be faked.
Either way, Gen taught him to never let his guard down so that's what he's going to do.
Yun slides himself into a fighting stance but also attempts to offer some words of encouragement and comfort, "Don't worry, dude. I'll make this short and sweet. You'll be waking up in the hospital in no time!"
Yun's grin takes up the bulk of his face again as he reaches up to make sure the Rising Star Tournament Logo is prominently featured for the cameras whilst he slides himself into his perfect Kempo fighting stance, very much looking the opposite of the (possibly) untrained fighter across from him.
Yun even goes so far as to extend a hand and make the 'bring it on' motion with those kung fu fingers.
"... I'd really rather neither of us ended up like that..." Blazing Panther murmurs underneath the mask while he shuffles on his feet in slow, uncertain footwork along the perimeter set between himself and Yun.
The grid-like arena around them shifts with the working of some controls nearby, and the scenery surrounding them takes on that of a neon-lit street. The virtual signs may or may not be advertisements from some sponsorship deals.
The red-haired, masked teenager is visibly hesitant for a good moment longer-- but it's when Yun makes that beckoning gesture that he decides he can't put things off any longer. ANd with a deep breath to help force himself steadied, he pounces forward, running right up to Yun before ducking down and launching a wild punch towards his midsection! "HA--!"

Yun stays in his stance as long as possible. He's got his eyes narrowed to try and read the (allegedly) untrained movements of the Blazing Panther. It's not until Blazing Panther pounces that Yun's lips curl up into a smirk. There may or may not be a little bit of telegraphing going on but Yun's got, at least, enough experience to see what's headed in his direction.
Yun reaches out to shove that wild punch headed in his direction to the side! His body spins inwards as he makes with that punch parrying, leaning onto his heels for a moment as he hops into the air and aims a kick for the skull of the Blazing Panther!
"Watch this first step! It's a doozy!"

Apparently Blazing Panther is also too inexperienced to have even expected such a deft parrying maneuver. His weight was already too much in the punch itself, so he's sent stumbling forward even further when the force of the motion gets redirected so.
It's only by pure luck that the stumbling steps are so uncontrolled that he ends up swinging back to facing Yun without even fully intending to. Eyes widen at the closing sight of a foot aimed at his skull, and in a panicked motion, he swings his right arm up to intercept the kick. A loud groan is hissed past his teeth as bone and muscle soak up the impact while he leans in - almost too much - to arc his left arm in a wide, sweeping hook aimed for the side of Yun's head, purely in an effort to keep momentum up if nothing else.
COMBATSYS: Daisuke successfully hits Yun with Medium Punch.

Yun drops back down to the floor just in time to see that Blazing Panther is headed his direction with a wide hook! Split second thinking doesn't pay off when Yun tries to backpedal out of the way, due to Blazing Panther's wide sweeping fist and he gets himself clocked right in the jaw.
Yun spins back in the other direction from the impact of fist to jaw and it takes him a moment to recenter and balance himself with a smirk in Blazing Panther's direction. "Nice punch." Somehow, Yun manages to sound both impressed and proud. Maybe this 'inexperienced fighter' has some moves in him after all.
Yun wastes no more time before he takes a couple of steps, launches himself into the air into a quick corkscrew action and aims an extended foot towards the Blazing Panther's chest!

Another stumble after the wide punch -- it's less pronounced this time, at least, since Yun didn't manage to interfere with it, but it still speaks of how much he ends up leaning too much into his own blows regardless.
By the time he gets himself back upright from it, it's already too late for him to see Yun's flying, corkscrewing kick.
Both of Yun's feet slam square against Blazing Panther's chest, and his eyes damn near seem to bulge out before his form is launched across the virtual stage, bouncing once, twice along the floor before he settles down. Coughing breathlessly in pain, he may well consider it a miracle for himself that he's able to focus himself on turning over to his stomach and up to one knee even while his lungs protest viciously at the motion. "HHhhgh..."
His right hand clutches at the left side of his chest, for a second or so -- but then. Arcs of blue-green energy crackle along that very same arm, and when he sweeps it outwards again, a mass of energy quickly gathers at the palm of his hand and launches itself out at Yun.

Yun 1/-----==/=======|=======\-------\1 Daisuke
If there's one thing that Yun has paid attention to in his training with Gen, it's the fact that he doesn't have access to these innate energies that a lot of fighters have. Maybe he'll find a way to access it some time later but for the moment, this is not going to end well. And he can see that coming from across the battlefield.
"Oh no you don't!"
Yun winces as he spins and leaps THROUGH the energy sent sailing in his direction. The power surging against his body like it wants to obliterate his entire being. His teeth are clenched, his body is feeling more than the burn...
And his arm is extended, shoving a hard Palm Strike right for the Blazing Panther's chest! His other arm is held out behind him to keep him on his feet as he punches through this chi attack that doesn't look as untrained as the rest of the Blazing Panther's moves!
Well. That's a new one.
Blazing Panther looks outright shocked to see Yun's form charging right through the mass of energy and--
THe unexpected angle is left completely unguarded, and Yun's palm strikes cruelly into the teenager's already-bruised chest through the layer of black leather. Once more, he's blown right off his feet, and down onto the ground. It's hidden by the mask, but there's blood quickly spat out from between his lips, too.
His right hand slaps down against the floor this time, however. And in an instant after, a sudden burst of blazing, blue energy bursts out from that same palm, forcefully shoving the redhead's body right back up again.
ANd that energy grows. As it continues to push Blazing Panther's body like a jet engine, it takes shape further, blazing far outwards from his palm in a long, thin mass that almost seems to attempt to mimic that of a sword.
And when Blazing Panther's eyes snap on Yun, and the spin completes, that arm comes swinging in to sweep the blade of pure energy in a horizontal slash at Yun!
COMBATSYS: Yun instinctively blocks Daisuke's Soul Blade EX.

Yun 1/---====/=======|=======\-------\0 Daisuke
The Blazing Panther's getting better in Yun's eyes. Especially since that chi energy is launching him around this place like there's no tomorrow. Yun tries to keep up with the way that energy's sending the Blazing Panther into his next moves but it's kind of hard to predict.
Yun catches a lucky break with the sword-ish shaped chi energy gets formed and sent in his direction. There's barely time for Yun to get his arms up and the collision still sends all sorts of pain coursing through his body and nervous system. The White Dragon of the Wind and Clouds finds himself getting knocked backwards no matter the guard that he's managed to protect his more vital areas with.
"Okay. I see where your power lies, Blazing Panther." Yun spits out a little blood as he must be bleeding internally from somewhere. But he's still smiling. He loves a good fight and this one's getting good!
Yun takes off in Blazing Panther's direction, dashing a pretty brisk speed, "Hope you'll like this!" He slides in close and aims an Upward Arm Lash aimed for the Blazing Panther's chin! This is immediately followed up by a stiff Elbow Strike! Yun's body spins in fluid movement to see if he can't send Blazing Panther into the air with a strong shoulder charge!
Yun raises a fist over his head to hopefully allow the Blazing Panther to collide with should this combo go the way he's planned it to!

After the initial collision, the energy blade fizzles out, and again, Blazing Pantehr is left stumbling forward, even slumping slightly while his left hand goes clutching at his right arm, wincing in obvious pain. That took a lot out of him, perhaps.
"Hhh-- not--" He finds himself growling without even realizing the words begun leaving his mouth, as both of his arms come up to shield himself from Yun's counterattack. Crossing together, they halt the upward-aimed strike, first, and using the recoil from the impact itself, he brings himself sliding back, just enough to let him sweep his other arm into Yun's arm to avoid the followup elbow.
The shoulderslam comes in, but the redhead manages to lean back away from it enough that it merely sends him stumbling back instead of flying out this time around -- leaving him with ample enough time to bring both his arms high and catch Yun's arm as it comes bringing the fist down upon him, right as he lifts his own foot up from the floor to slam it into his opponent's shin.
His eyes are still glowing after all that expenditure of energy, too. Pulsing lines along the exposed portions of his skin. Is something else hurting him?
COMBATSYS: Daisuke successfully hits Yun with Light Kick.

Yun's getting a little too cocky in this fight. Well, to be honest, he was born a little too cocky. Being a kickass fighter (self-proclaimed, anyway) just makes him even more cocky. Which is why he's prone to leaving himself open for kicks. Especially light ones. He always figures most people will need to come at him with their top tier moves. He's not ready for anyone taking it easy!
So that kick to his shin strikes very true! Yun's leg buckles from the kick and he ends up stumbling to the side to try and keep his balance!
"You're better than I thought." Yun breathes these words out as he tries to take a moment to try and get himself back together.
Yun reaches out to try and grab the Blazing Panther by the shoulders and flip over him! It's a move that, if he manages to land on the other side gracefully, he hopes to then yank the Blazing Panther up and throw him over his own shoulder! Just, y'know, trying to give himself some room!

The downside to keeping yourself that close to your enemy just to get a quick, cheap shot in is... well. Finding yourself on the receiving end of such a maneuver.
Blazing Panther doesn't even manage to track Yun's flip over himself, in the middle of his exhausted, heavily-injured haze. His mind barely even registers the fact that his feet have left the floor.
The poor boy ends up landing on the other side of Yun, head-first. Hard enough to jolt his brain, hard enough to open a wound along the top of his head and bring blood to soaking into his hair... not that it's easy to tell, what with them sharing a hue and all.
"Gh... hrghk..." Eyes rolled up briefly in his head, the redhead does his damnest to focus on the situation. He's on the floor. Several ribs must be broken.
Perhaps some part of him realizes that there's not much hope for him to actually get up all the way, not the way he is, not without Yun getting the perfect opening to shoving him down again.
So he makes to roll himself onto his side, and summoning what little strength he has left, lifts up one knee and...
Shoves his foot upwards, aimed for Yun's stomach in the desperate effort to clear some space between the two of them. Anything to give him room to breath. To recover.

Yun is obviously trying to find a rhythm here. It's all about getting into the groove. He keeps himself as balanced as possible when he sees the Blazing Panther getting himself into a better position to attack. There's not much time for Yun to prepare to defend himself but his hands are already moving when Blazing Panther's foot comes in his direction and he actually steps right into that kick.
Yun reaches out to send both of his hands against that foot to make sure that it gets knocked to the side. Yun's movements don't even slow down, the fluidity attempting to find that combative rhythm that he rocks so well with.
Whether Blazing Panther's up on his feet or not, Yun's movements turn into a leaping stride with a fist aimed to collide with the Blazing Panther's face! Yun's really trying to put this one away, it seems!
"Time to wrap this up!"

The look in Blazing Panther's green eyes is one of realization, of what's to come, the instant his foot is so crudely shoved aside instead of letting it find purchase on it's intended target.
It's a vision of a cruel, powerful fist descending upon him.
And the collision is just as cruel. Yun's knuckles strike true on Blazing Panther's masked face, with a loud CRACK of the bones in his nose shattering (along with probably some other bones in his face and skull), followed by the floor-shattering force of his skull rebounding off the ground.
And it all ends with the boy slumping down onto the floor, with a wide, red pool of red spreading underneath his head. Eyes rolled up in their sockets and limbs twitching. There's no consciousness to be found there anymore.
Just as the medical teams set to step to the virtual arena and Yun may very well be stepping away from his downed opponent... lights flash.
Bright arcs of energy spark and crackle, rebounding like wild currents of energy along the floor and the walls of the grid-arena, with Blazing Panther as the center of the growing maelstorm, causing glitches in the virtualized vision of the neon-lit street until the program fails altogether and shuts down entirely to leave just the vision of the grids surrounding the fighters.
And this whole time, Blazing Panther's upper body draws up from the ground, with arms and legs both still limp, as if hoisted up by some telekinetic force. Even when he is set onto his feet, his arms still hang low. If there's any focus in his eyes, it's hard to say, for they are glowing bright enough that the irises and pupils cannot be seen anymore.
It all builds and gathers up, until all that wildly arcing energy concentrates around Blazing Panther's right arm in a truly horrendous blaze that conceals the limb entirely underneath it -- and still continues to grow. Strength seems to find it's way to the young man's legs at that point, to force his seemingly still-unconscious body into a charge at Yun, to strike at him with his blazing arm--
An explosion overtakes the ring.

There's Good News and Bad News.
The Good News: Yun Lee looks freaking amazing with the way he's moving and landing these hits with such style and precision that he might as well be a professional fighter of some sort. Not some punk skateboarding kid that was raised by one of the most feared criminals in the history of organized crime! He makes this look good.
The Bad News: Yun Lee is a cocky son of a something and he's turned his back on the Blazing Panther because he's obviously won. That's right, he's allowed himself to feel so comfortable after such a POWERful hit that he's completely ignoring the potential for his opponent to even get back up.
Biggest. Mistake. Ever.
"Flawless Vic--!" Yun stops as his Fighter's Sense feels something amiss. He turns slowly, lowering his hands from their raising in victory motion. His narrowed eyes go wide as he looks over his shoulder to see the metric ton's worth of chi energy surrounding the Blazing Panther's arm. He hasn't even registered that the virtual background has gone bye-bye. He's just staring in smart fear at what's about to come.
Then the explosion happens.
Yun doesn't even know what happened. In fact, the only thing he realizes is that there's smoke to clear and that his body is broken in about seventeen places. Blood drips from his face, arms, and chest. His clothes are torn and burnt in various places. Worst of all, his baseball cap is crispy and lopsided on his head. Bruises are already showing up all over his face and body and to be the White Dragon of the Wind & Clouds, he's certainly not moving. He's just sprawled out on the floor of this gym and barely... barely breathing.
Digging deep for whatever energy he has left, Yun flips over and crawls back up to his feet. He can't even get into a fighting stance. Instead, he just stands firm and coughs out some sort of activation phrase.
"GO! GENEI JIN!"
Drawing upon the pain and the training from Gen, Yun activates a quick flash around his body that creates a pair of Shadow Yuns behind him. His movements become quick and swift as he takes off in the Blazing Panther's direction. What follows is a series of punches, kicks, elbows, and whatever else this last ditch energy allows him to perform as he attempts to just lay into the Blazing Panther with an unpredictable combination that may, at least, allow him to go out in a blaze of his own glory.
No matter what, though, those After Images fade and without splendor, the one known as Yun Lee will be hitting the floor with a vicious thud. Spent.

When the blinding flash of light from the explosion fades away, it's quickly proven that Yun is not the only one left mangled by it. Beyond the bruising and the bleeding already caused by the brutal beatdown the White Dragon inflicted on his red-haired opponent, Blazing Panther has clearly been affected by... whatevere the hell just happened.
With the glow having faded away from his eyes, the sight of blood dripping from *them* is all too clear. And the arm that had been covered up by the blaze of energy has been exposed from the leather sleeve having been burned away... and it's all but covered in blackened bruising and several bleeding cuts. All but mangled up, with his hand and fingers all twisted in ways that they most certainly should *not* be to be healthy.
And the boy is swaying there in the middle of the devastated ring, down on one knee, rubbing at his bloodied forehead with his left hand. "What.... hhhh...."
Consciousness apparently regained. ANd just in time for his eyes to flash on the vision of Yun and his shadow clones advancing on him. He might not realize what happened in the last ten or so seconds, but he can fully realize, at least, that he is in *immediate* danger, and it's that instinct alone that forces him up to standing (with a panicked yelp) and his good arm brought up in a desperate defense. With his right arm out of commission, however, he's forced to keep retreating in an effort to make up for that hole in his defense. It works to an extent, at least -- he's able to back away from some kicks, redirect punches with his left arm, but ultimately, several of the rapid blows do find purchase on the teenager.
His vision's getting hazy again. He feels like he's about to black ou-
It's a hail mary for Blazing Panther, perhaps, that Yun's body ran out of energy, first. The redhead doesn't even fully realize the assault has stopped until he has taken a few more retreating steps without any blows striking his body. He spends a good ten seconds then, perhaps, just staring at Yun's form there on the floor, half-expecting him to spring up for one last defiant hit on him... but when it never comes, he finally allows himself to just... slump down to his backside on the floor, panting heavily with exhaustion and pain both.
The medical crew may or may not be hesitant to try and close in on the two fighters after *last time*.
