Description: Heavy Metal Burnin' takes on the Cat's Out Of The Bag in the KOF2019 Preliminaries!

[FELICIA]
Felicia has gotten ready for ROUND TWO of the KOF Prelims and is looking bright eyed and bushy-tailed (well, maybe not that bushy, she was a shorthair technically, after all) on the cleared exterior venue of Vegas. Really, she had just stayed around the area and gotten some gigs in one of the nearby clubs after the first match, she healed fast--even from concussion grenades!

There is a roar of applause as Felicia comes in, flanked by a pair of bodyguards (mainly there to help keep fans off her as she gets into the barricaded area of the street where the match is taking place) and in full Catwoman form, ready for some action. The fighting kind that is, then again she /does/ sort of look like Girls Gone Wild Weeabo Cosplay Hour with how strategic her fur pattern is! She's at peace with it.

[ABIGAIL]
The sudden roar of heavy metal music followed by the steady kaiju-esque like shaking of the ground, announces the arrival of The Chief and Captain of Heavy Metal Burnin' an instant before he actually appears. He's also being escorted into the fighting area though the fact that his bodyguards seem to barely come past his belly in head height compared to the giant makes the entire thing look relatively ridiculous in terms of who should be protecting who. At any rate, the behemoth that is Captain Abigail lets out a thunderous roar while lifting a massive truck tire girth arm high, pointing skywards before bringing the arm down into a flex, producing a buick sized bicep. "YEAAAAAH!!"

His roar is met with the roar of fans, yes he actually has some..some even have mimiced his face paint! And his presence does a good job of riling them up as he stomps theatrically for the fight zone and then vaults his huge body into the arena area to shake it violently on landing as he looms before Felicia.

"Ooooh...SEXY!" he roars out while grinning at Felicia with what ould best be described as a'slasher grin'. "Wassup kitty cat?"

"Hi Abigail! Hoping to make this a good fight, okay? So no going easy on me!" Felicia waved to the very large and very muscular XYBER HUEG man, apparently not at all phased or unhappy to see them. She knew who Abigail was, after all. Who didn't?? With Abigail's shadow enveloping her (ooh, spooky) she nodded and gave him a salute.

That is before the Werecat very literally 'springs' into action! It's more of a 'sproings' really, given that she just coiled up her tail and launched herself into the air, coming down rolled up and bouncing in a ball right toward the towering mountain of muscle!

"Yeah, yeah." Abigail waves the request off. Not going easy on her was never in question. "Let's see if your uh..cat-power..can stand up to some serious horse power!"r
He's barely gotten that awful quip out and Felicia is upon him, bearing down in a blur of white and blue only to have her attack slam into Abigail's up raised forarm as he dips back into a defensive block and pushes back against her with his bulk.

"Vroom, vroom, VROOM, VROOm!!!" he bellows as the ground starts lurching violently in increasing levels of intensity per step when he begins bounding after her in a slow trundling jog. At the end of all of that he twists, turning to try and send a boulder of a first hurtling for her before she can fully recover.

Hard muscle and bone clash as Felicia manages to somehow bring her fur-gloved hands up to absorb the impact of Abigail's crushing punch. She winces, but once she moves her hands away to take a step back it's clear she's grinning.

"Oof, rattled me there, Abi--" she briefly exchanges before bringing her right leg up--and up, and up. The crowd goes wild as Felicia essentially 'kicks high' like one of the female co-stars on The Avengers, however the kick itself is more meant to position the heel of her foot just parallel to Abigail to bring it smashing down on his shoulder or head! It's kind of like a big flashy heel drop, really.

This time the behemoth doesn't make any sort of defensive action and instead seems to be lunging his transport vechicle sized body forward and up into the kick itself, taking it head ond and pushing past the force of impact it imparts onto his body. Felicia then would find Abigail's enormous hand lunging forward at her to try and seize hold of her while his other hand follows behind it with a big fist fowrard.

"You've got some good Vroom going on it seems. But it aint gonna last against this junkyard dog!" Car metaphors, junk yards, etc. He's a man of many verbal comparisons!

And pure power as Felicia would find him flicking a single finger at her from his free hand..albiet with the forceful impact of a battering ram.

As Felicia brings the heel of her foot crashing down into Abigail, she's actually unprepared for when Abigail more or less... reaches out to grab her. The proportions are fairly absurd, of course, given it's Abigail, but it's a lot like that. It's like Tom grabbing ahold of Jerry.

"Even a junkyard dog knows to stay away from a caaaaat!" Felicia's words dissolve into a yelping howl as she's /flicked/ by Abigail, her entire torso snapping back hard--likely with some MKX X-ray vertebrae breakage in there that's too hot for TV--before she's able to squirm out of his grasp. She convulses against the ground for a moment before the Werecat regeneration is able to allow her back to bend again--pulling herself up.

"No finger attacks, dirty pool!" Felicia snapped her right leg out to give Abi a light roundhouse across dah face.

"Yer lucky I was holding onto you or I'd have sent you sailin' back down to the strip!" The monster mechanic seems unphased by Felicia's complaints and her follow up attack as well - his physique seemingly hardening as he flexes - muscles piling atop one another and becoming durable like a military vechicle, to weather the force of her attack with a few scratches but nothing to stop him crom comtinuing to bear down on her.

"C'mon, kitty-kat.. you said not to go easy on ya! Where's your vroom! Push it to the redline!" he bellows while looming overhead and then lunging a massive fist straight down at her like the mother of all hammers thundering in for a strike.

"Probably! But who can let go of little ol' me, right?" Felicia retorts, bringing her hands up just in time to try and catch Abigail's massive fist--her red clawed toenails digging up pebbles of asphault from the street beneath her as she strains to keep it from collapsing on her and driving her into the dirt.

"Redline this!" Felicia flips herself over to /run up along/ Abigail's massive arm and dives at him--attempting to latch onto his front and begin a scratching frenzy with her finger and foot claws!

The timing is just slightly off there. As Felicia lunges in, Abigail makes the attempt to twist his body around to let her slam into a chest as wide as she can probably spread her arms. But he's a little off and instead the shockwave of his incoming push merely grants more momentum to her dive and he finds his upper body scratched marked and otherwise ripped into by her furious assault.

"Yearrgh! This is why I don't have cats!"

[FELICIA]
The catwoman is able to rake her nails down Abigail's shoulders before she flips herself up and around to use his shoulders to launch off of, landing on her feet after a quick sommersault. At least Abi for a short moment had a face full of cat-chest, so there is that.

"Or just don't interrupt one when they're playing!" Felicia's tail lashes out and she attempts to 'whip' it right into Abigail's lower back, as if trying to double him over!

"Yeah?"

Abigail lunges his massive hand out and catches the tail mid whip. He grins, pulling furiously at it to briefly attempt to dangle Felicia from the ground before rearing back and then tossing her skywards with a casual flick of his wrist. Such an effort all it taking to send her hurtling higher then the heights of the nearest buildings as he rumbles, "Lessee if you really can land on all fours still!!"

Felicia is thrown skywards, making an 'EEEEEE' noise that fades out and back in as she comes back down--faceplanting right on the asphault, to a 'Oooh!' from the crowd. Her right arm and left leg are splayed in positions they really shouldn't be, but soon pull themselves back together and Felicia wearily peels herself back off the pavement.

"Ow... gonna need some space here, Abi, to unleash these moves!" Felicia rolls into a ball and charges right towards Abigail, her body wreathed in prismatic energy! She moves like rainbow quicksilver, trying to unleash a flurry of kicks and punches against him!

"That's it! No cats allowed at Abigail's Scrap Metal!" The flashing flurry of claws, scratches and bites sends Abigail back peddaling and teetering on his back foot as he tries and fails to shield his immense frame from Felicias furious assault. He turtles, ducking into a make shift defensive position that doesn't add much to his defense...and then he springs forward.

His monsterous body lunges into the air and then both of his legs thrust ouwad in the mother of all drop kicks. Strength able to demolish a building lashing out as his monster body descnds back down earthwards to land with the force of a meteor and shake the area violently from his sheer weight ande sterngth alone. "KABOOM!!!"

As Abigail comes down to his earth-shattering drop, Felicia jumps, attempting at first to avoid it--but when it's clear she can't possibly, due to the nature of it, she focuses all of her power in one strong cat-fisted haymaker into Abigail's jaw just as the shockwave hits her.

"Aieeee!" she is thrown backwards, hurtling through the air like a blue-haired action figure chucked full-strength into the air. She crashes /through/ one of the wooden barricades setup to separate her from the ground and winds up sprawled out in the crowd itself! Hopefully only a few people got hurt from that. Eitehr way, it's Felicia's 'big break' in Vegas after all!

Looks like the cat has been knocked out of the bag big time. Poor Felicia!

The good news is that the medical technicians are on hand to tend to her so that she shouldn't have to worry about being euthanized at all. (Then again, since when are DarkStalkers euthanized?) But what would probably be even better news for her is, despite her crushing defeat, the fight isn't over yet. She may have been eliminated, but the next fighter on the bracket is set to come into the fray. And that fighter is none other than...

"Eeeeyaaaaaaaah!" The cry is heard as the feminine figure leaps out above the crowd and then drops into the fighting area near Abigail. It's definitely not one of the feline variety either, but she does have cat-like reflexes. And it's definitely someone that Abigail will recognize, not just from a previous battle, but also because of being one of the Mad Gears' biggest enemies too. As she twirls her tonfa around a few times, then holds it upwards, the crowd of her supporters and those who know her call out her name in a huge chorus:

"MAKI GENRYUUSAI!"

Having seen what happened to her team leader, Maki is not happy with what Abigail did to Felicia. But she's even more disgusted with the fact that she has to deal with one of the Mad Gears as well, leading to a wrinkled-nose scowl from her as well. "Sorry, but I'm afraid your scrapyard is in violation of numerous health and safety codes..." She points her tonfa at Abigail. "...And now I'm gonna close it all down, starting with you!"

It's true that Abigail is a giant compared to Maki, who's only five-feet-five, but Maki is not the least bit afraid of him. After all, the old saying is that 'the bigger they are the harder they fall.' And Maki is ready to make Abigail fall so hard that they'll need a crane to get him out of there! "Ready when you are!"

"Hello Kitty..more like..GOODBYE KITTY..amiright?!?"

Abiail thunders that cringy joke which causes even his most diehard fans present to cringe in the wake of its thudding impact...but the behemoth seems to not care in the slightest as he pumps a massive arm skywards and bellows out a roar that sounds just a wee bit to close to the sound a semi truck horn makes.

"YEAH! I'm still red hot and ready for the next circuit1"

And of course thats when the newcomer comes in.. "...Maki.." he sneers. Now Abigail considers himself 'retired' from Mad Gear - despite still hanging around Mad Gear members, having them work for him at his scrapyard and wearing tires with Mad Gear painted on them - and then there's the Mad Gear skulls on his Tee-Shirt and the giant Mad Gear Skull and Gear imprint in the middle of the interior of his sprawlin garagae..and several of his cli---okay yeah he's practically still Mad Gear.

"Aint you a sight for sore eyes. Where's your boyfriend, whatshisname, Guy? I wanna make sure he see's what's 'bout to happen!"

With that he slams his massive hands together. Knuckles crashing together with aan area shaking *KABOOM*!

"My boyfriend?!" Maki's eyes narrow at Abigail, although whether he can actually see her glaring or not is anyone's guess. "I will have you know that Guy is NOT my boyfriend! In fact, he's my rival in that he strives to be the next master of the Bushin-Ryuu style of Ninjitsu!" She hmmphs. "But that's not going to happen at all! I am going to be the next master of Bushin-Ryuu! I am going to prove that a woman is just as capable of being a master as a man is!" She smirks a little. "Although I'm afraid we don't have a loading dock entrance at our dojo or I'd invite you to try out."

But then that smirk disappears and Maki opens her eyes again. "Then again, I doubt they'd want a gargantuan brute like you in our dojo!" She twirls her tonfa again before running off to a nearby sturdy object to use it as a perch for a moment. Then, she launches off of it, aiming at Abigail's huge stomach with her leg outstretched. Normally, she'd be aiming a little higher, but she's used to opponents about the same size as her. Of course, whether Abigail feels the kick is anyone's guess.

"Hey! Are you being prejudice against big people!? You can't refuse me service cause of that. That's against the la---woooohff!"

That impact against his belly..actually punched its way through slightly and sends the brute wobbling backwards. His match with Felicia has taken its toll somewhat and he's near one hundred percent. He staggers, wobbling a touch before bellowing, "Time to put the pedal tot he metal!! Whoooo!!!"

The roaring seems to do the job of riling himself up as he pushes forward and then twists, spinning on his heels and bringing a monsterous arm hurtling around in a gigantic back handed swipe for Maki. His twisting continues should he hit her or not as he comes around full rotation to send his other arm hurtling at her in a gargantuan upper cut!

As Maki does a backflip away from Abigail and lands on the ground, she's wincing a little as she does so. Once she's finally landed, she shakes out the foot she hit the giant with and groans. "Damn, that guy must have titanium in his blood!" She comments, glad she had sneakers on, even though they didn't a lot of good protecting her foot from that giant's belly.

"Still acting like you're a car, are you?" Maki comments, shaking her head. "You just never change, Abigail!" She smiles a little. "And neither do I!"

Indeed, some things never change in that Maki likes to try dodging her oppponent's attacks by utilizing her agility. Unfortunately, though, even the best of the best make mistakes. Despite her best efforts, Maki is caught by that gargauntuan backhand that then leads into an uppercut that sends her sailing upwards into the air with a yell. As she starts to go down, Maki recovers herself and lands again, this time in a somewhat forced position, leading to her muttering a few curse words under her breath.

"All right, no more Miss Nice Ninja!" Maki comments, now looking pretty angry at that. She does a couple of running steps, then does a quick handstand, pushing herself up into the air, then attempts to bring down her tonfa on the giant.

Abigail seems downright insulted. After all, who is stupid enough to pretend to be a car??

"What?! Can't you tell the difference between a car and a TRUCK?!" he bellows, "I'm a Monster Truck!"

That cleared up, he barrels in on her, grinding his massive feet across the ground as he slides forward and swings in low with a fist that blurs with startling speed despite his size. He's more a striker then a wrestler - and when his fists hurtle in they're like cannonballs and they blur with thunderous speed as strike after strike after strike machine gun fires off at Maki, attempting to literally lift her off the ground with the force of the blows if they land.

"Didididididd--ABIGAIL PUNCH!!!" booms the monster-mechanic..voice shaking the entire pavilion and ending with a double fisted upward hammer swing of both of his arms.

"Oh, you're a monster all right," Maki comments as she lands on the ground quickly. "But if you think you're a truck, it proves that you don't need a lot of brains to join the Mad Gears!" The blonde-haired ninja dusts herself off a little, although it looks more like a mocking gesture rather than actually cleaning herself off a little. "You're just--"

Unfortunately, it seems mouthing off to Abigail has led to her facing a serious set of consequences from the giant. His punche are more like rapid-fire cannonballs than bullets, and that's bad for several reason. Not only do they hurt like hell, but they're also next to impossible to dodge. Not to mention, it seems defending against them is no use. To top that off, Maki goes flying again, this time farther into the air than before, and it looks like she might be doing her best impression of Team Rocket blasting off again!

Of course, there's also the saying that what goes up must come down. Even Team Rocket comes back down, albeit in a different place than before. But Maki comes back down a good distance from Abigail, landing with a literal splat as she lets out a grunt upon impact. For a moment it seems that the ninja is out for the count... but then her eyes open and her body begins to glow a little. "OK, big guy, now I'm REALLY mad!" The ninja grits her teeth as she pushes herself back up onto her feet. "Let's see how you like a little of THIS!" She yells as she suddenly launches herself at Abigail again with a flying kick. Upon impact, though, she begins to throw a series of tonfa strikes mixed with a few kicks, and then another launching kick. On a normal opponent it would knock them down, but Abigail will probably think he was hit by a car.

A car driven by an angry ninja, albeit...

"Hey, I thought you ninja's were supposed to be the glass cannon types! You keep getting back up, what gives---whooulllf!!!"

Abigail's complaining is cut short again as Maki descends upon him with the full artistry of her ninja clan on display. It pummels into his gigantic body, rocking him thunderously and tilting him from side to side and then backwards - nearly toppling him over like a massive tree attempting to resist the worst a wind storm has to offer and ultimately failing to do so.

The ground lurches as he leaps backwards and skids o a stop, looking briefly dazed and confused before he suddenly barrels forward, thundering at her with another roar coming from his grinning features, "I'm HIGH OCTANE and FULL TANKED!!"

The same manuever he last used against Felicia comes forth as he leaps, coils his gargantuan legs, and then sends his massive body flinging at Maki with a building tilting drop-kick hurtling her way.

"No comment," Maki comments, gasping for air a little as the power of chi leaves her body, making her remember how badly beaten up she is. "It's no use making conversation with you." Despite being beaten and bruised, Maki still intends to keep fighting against this giant, no matter how difficult it might be. And even if she is hurt, that doesn't mean Maki is afraid to use her signature ability of evasion to get away. In fact, Maki decides to take that chance...

And it works!

Maki jumps back a little before doing a few backwards rolls on the ground, leaving her completely out of range of Abigail while giving her a chance to catch her breath. Originally, she expected to be down on the ground in need of a lot of medical attention, but now that things are different, she's changed plans on the fly. Which means she's heading towards Abigail, albeit a little slowly...

Then she suddenly drops onto the ground on her side, but it's not like that for long. She rests on the tip of her tonfa and begins to spin around like a whirlwind with her leg outstretched. She's never tried her signature attack on a giant like this before, so who knows what will happen?

"HEy...I'm a -great- conversationalist!" declares Abigail as he emerges from the crater that formed from the impact of his monster body. He plods thunderously towards Maki, unphased as she gets ready to make her assault and at the last second he pulls back, attempting a defensive guard..but is overall a touch to slow. Story of his life really. Her whirlwind attack batters against him. rocking him backwards once more but this time he manages to hold his ground and instead lunges a massive hand forward for her in an attempt to grasp hold of one of her outstretched legs.

A mere flick of his wrists is all it would take at this point. His massive strength can hurtle fighters twice her size and even larger into the air so high that they can see the tops of buildings. It's a move those in Metro City are likely familiar with seeing him use. Just grab someone and throw them into the air using his monster power and then let gravity do the rest.

Getting grabbed by Abigail is a bad idea unless you're as big as he is. And the fact that can throw someone pretty high is even worse. Which is why you have to watch out for those HUGE hands of his. Of course, there are those who are fortunate enough to be able to evade his hands in some form or other. And Maki's spinning leg manages to knock his hands away! How did she do that? Who knows?

"Never underestimate the power of the Genryuusai clan!" Maki says as she gets back to her feet. "Their speed can be faster than you expect when you least expect it!" Maki then attempts to throw a high kick at Abigail's stomach, in hopes of proving her point.

The area shakes violently as Abigail's super-human strength resounds outward with shockwaves as he slams his fists into his chest repeatedly, flailing them like some gorilla dwarfing...uh..gorilla!

It's time to go Max power!!!"

Maki's kick comes slamming into his exposed stomach as he finishes doing this but it meets a wall of muscle that is tightening and flexing and actually seeming to pile on even -more- sinew then before as Abigail's entire body begins bulking up and expanding. His skin turns red and gouts of steam roar from his mouth and between his ears. His Mad Gear tee-shirt shreds and the tire armbands split apart as biceps that seem to cast shadows the size of small cars flex bigger and bigger. "Let's push it to the redline!!"

"Ow!" Maki yelps as she reels back in pain from the incoming attack. She rubs at her now hurting foot, even though with sneakers on it's hard to make much of a decent effort there. She ends up shaking off the pain in her foot as well as shaking the cobwebs out of her head. "I should've known he'd do something like that," Maki comments to herself, trying to keep herself steady on her feet. "Although I'm surprised there's any muscle in there."

Turning to face Abigail, Maki narrows her eyes at him, but the eyes widen as he starts to turn red and steam begins to come out of his ears mouth. "Oh damn it," Maki comments, sneering a little. "I've really pissed him off now." She begins to feel a bead of sweat on her forehead. "I should've known better than to do that."

A pause as Maki realizes that she's getting pessimistic with herself. "No, don't think like that, Maki," She says to herself softly. "You've got to keep a positive mindset about this. Keep a steady mind and you'll do better than you think."

COMBATSYS: Maki gains composure.

"No time to put the breaks on, babe! You gotta cross that IINISH LINE!"

Red hot and ready to go, Abigail bears down on Maki with all the immensity and subtlety of a sequoia falling over ontop of a smaller tree. A monstrous arm swats down at her, palm open, in an attempt to slap into her and bring her down to the shaking ground and if this is managed - to lift her up skywards. "You can't run away!"

Success will see both of Abigails fist come up and begin a series of rolling bodyblows and speedbag like punches.. slower then his previous machine gun strikes but much stronger. Earthquake like in strength. This is followed by a wide arcing swing of a single arm, palm open and fingers splayed wide, to try and send his opponent hurtling away through the air

"ORAORAORAORA!!!"

Assuming the hit lands mind you. Maki has proven nimble but will she remain nimble enough?

"Me? Run away?" Maki says as she looks up, now smirking a little. "Oh please, I'm not even warmed up yet!" Despite the bruises on her face and the sweat pouring down, Maki is still eager for a fight it seems. She's not bothered by his movements in the least bit. In fact, it looks like she's gotten a bit too confident for her own good... or has she?

Just as the first punch comes at her, Maki literally dodges underneath it and then seems to keep her opponent at bay with her tonfa and her agility. It's almost like Abigail's hit nothing but air while Maki's coming back up tsking a little.

"I told you I'm not even warmed up yet! Now see what I'm really capable of!" She swings her tonfa with all of her might at Abigail, aiming to slam into his stomach and see what would happen.

He does have abs down there -- but tis an experiment that must wait for another day as Abigail recovers quickly from his missed assault and instead spins on his heels to send a back fist hurtling around and whipping up in a blitzing back fist.

"Don't go underestimating me, girl1 I aint The Chief for nothing!"

[MAKI]
Maki wasn't intent on underestimating Abigail, but she was intent on landing her tonfa on his stomach.

What she had no intention of was getting caught by his huge fist. Which is why she goes spinning to the ground and rolling a few times before landing in a crumpled position. After managing to push herself up, Maki rubs at her side a little while shaking her head and groaning. "I can't believe I did that."

Looking at Abigail with a narrowed eye, although it's more from the pain she's in rather than a glare, Maki opens her mouth to say something, but decides against it. Despite the injuries she's sustained, she's not ready to give up. She's going fast, albeit with a limp, and then with a yell, attempts to slam her tonfa with all of her might into Abigail in hopes that she can drive her point home.

Well that did it! Abigail's eyes bulge and his lips purse as he doubles over and then goes tumbling backwards..thudding into the ground violently and cratering the earth from the force of his fall. He goes into a full roll, vaulting back up to his feet to again shake the earth as he plants firmly and looms back up to his full height. "Rarrgh! It's a Dead Heat!" he declares, perhaps a mild compliment in his round about way of Maki staying in the game and seemingly evening the odds abit with the titan.

"You're giving it your all, I'll admit.. But I didn't leave my shop for nothin!"

Again he lunges in reaching out with a giant hand to try and grasp hold of her and then slam her down towards the battered ground with the full force of his strength.

COMBATSYS: Maki dodges Abigail's Grasp And Pound.

"Oh, you left your shop for something... such as perhaps a trip to the hospital?" Maki asks somewhat sarcastically as she rolls away from Abigail's incoming attack. Once she recovers, though, she rubs her side and says, "Ow, I did it again!"

Then she looks to Abigail again. "Don't underestimate me either. I might be small, but you know what they say, big things come in small packages!" She drops down and attempts to deliver a sweeping kick to Abigail. She may not trip him off of his feet, but the effect might be felt well.

COMBATSYS: Abigail interrupts Strong Kick from Maki with Hungabee.

Timing is everything and Abigail is..well..faster then he looks when he's on the attack. He may move slow when pacing himself from place to place but when he lunges in - he lunges in like a run away semi. As such just before Maki can get the kick off, she finds her field of vision completely filled with Abigail's torso - and then his freakish chest slamming into her ilke the aforementioned Semi Truck.

"Looks like I got more horsepower!" his deep voice booms, reverbating through his torso and into her before he finally thrusts his chest out violently in a final chest-bump move sure to send her flying backwards.

[MAKI]
Maki does, in fact, go flying backwards into the air. She goes sailing through the air, looking at bit on the limp side as she does so. She goes... goes... but is not gone. She rolls on the ground a few times and hits a nearby barrier....

Then suddenly launches forwards with an extremely powerful looking flying kick aimed at Abigail. It's almost like Maki's last ditch effort...

COMBATSYS: Maki can no longer fight.

Maki crashes into Abigail, and then bounces off of him while falling onto the ground in a crumpled heap. She doesn't get up this time. Despite landing one last powerful attack, it wasn't enough it seems. Maki is out cold and in need of assistance. Medical assistants run to get her out of the area. Abigail may have won, but it was a close one!

Of course, he'd better watch out for the next time they meet outside of the arena!

[ABIGAIL]
A dead heat indeed! Abigail is blasted backwards and nearly goes toppling right into the crowds..only to regain his balance and at the very last second, right himself and lumbef forward again.

"Wow! Talk about a brief turbo boost! Maybe you got some horse power in you after all..."

He talks a big game but he's pretty badly bruised up now and only his staggering size and bravado are keeping him from looking like he wants to just fall right over. But when he sees Maki out for the count he whistles and then stretches both of his arms wide while emitting another loud, "YEAAAAAH! Heavy Metal takes it!!" His roar mixes with the cheers - and jeers - of the crowd.. and then he quickly begins to drag himself away to seek a place to recover.
