Match of the Millennium

Description: There's something going on at Taiyo High. Two people are intent on checking it out, but only one of them can be the hero! Who will come out on top? (WINNER: Koto)

[KOTO]
Koto was just 'visiting' more or less to Taiyo High. He was currently investigating more or less something he had heard. There was rumors about some sort of technology being used in "special needs" areas. That was not something that Koto liked to hear, especially when it seemed as if individuals came out changed a bit.

So, here he was scoping out the high school after hours. At least until he used his abilities to unlock a door or two as he went. The odd part about that was that the door knobs, locks, and latches tended to glow a prismatic color as he did so. Usually it was pretty simple, and he was mostly there to check into things.

At least until he finds what he's looking for. The "special needs" room. And then he has to get around to the outside to use the window of all things to look in at the V-Tech itself it seemed. And that's after using his psychic powers to pull the blinds up so he could see it!

Grumbling a bit to himself, the Pacific High student rubs the back of his head as he mutters. Obviously he's trying to figure out what to do about this situation. No one's supposed to be around until tomorrow, but he can't exactly leave a V-Tech cache like that laying around, and he doesn't want to damage the school!

[YURI]
Koto's not the only one in attendance here. There's someone here who attends Taiyo High as well by the name of Yuri, and she's been hearing strange rumors about something going on here as well. About how there's V-Tech being stored here at her school, and given what she's heard about that stuff, Yuri thinks it's totally uncool. It's definitely not something that Yuri wants at her high school.

Unlike Koto, who used his power to unlock the doors to get inside, Yuri was a bit late on the arrival here, and that's when she notices the doors have been unlocked already by someone. "Looks like I'm not alone!" Yuri mutters with a scowl as she cracks her knuckles before jogging through the open door into the school. Despite the fact she's moving at a somewhat quick pace, Yuri does her best to make sure that she doesn't make any noise every time her feet touch the floor, since she doesn't know if whoever else is here is friendly or not. She moves quickly from one spot to another, taking cover behind things like a secret agent trying to keep tabs on someone or something while attempting to figure out just who is here and why they're here.

Then Yuri stumbles upon the room known as the 'special needs' room, and that's when she spots Koto there. Her eyes widen for a moment, but she doesn't say anything just yet. Instead, she squints a little to see what he's looking at, not caring how he's lifting the blinds from the opposite side they're on, and she gets a glimpse of something that just doesn't look right. "V-Tech?" Yuri whispers to herself, scowling a little more. She doesn't do much else, just waiting in her cover to see what Koto will do next.

[KOTO]
Grumbling some more, Koto sighs and unlocks the room as he moves inside. The student's currently looking around as he tries to figure out what to do about it. With the V-Tech being a bit obvious, Koto moves to a computer to begin looking at it. Scowling as he finds a password lock on it, the teenager reaches to turn it off.

Looking around some more, he considers before pulling out the hard drive on it and pocketing it. "Hope someone can hack this. I want to know who's responsible." Turning to go, Koto blinks as he sees Yuri. "Uh... hi... this isn't what you think?"

Koto looks very defensive all of a sudden, and his hands are starting to glow in a prismatic coloring much like the blinds were just a moment or two ago.

[YURI]
As soon as the door opens, Yuri creeps inside after Koto, watching and waiting to see what he's going to do. Her initial suspicion is that he's here to steal the V-Tech for himself, or that he's got plans to use it for his own personal gain. She keeps a stern eye on him, waiting to see what he's going to do. "You better watch yourself," Yuri whispers. "If you're up to no good, I'm gonna stop you!" A slight smirk forms on Yuri's face.

A few moments later, Yuri realizes that Koto isn't here to steal the V-Tech, but rather he's trying to be the hero here. Almost immediately, Yuri reels back a little. "He's trying to be the hero? No way!" Yuri shakes her head as she whispers her thoughts. "There's only a heroine here and that's going to be me! I'm going to stop this!" At that, Koto turns to face Yuri, and despite his claims, Yuri isn't having it.

"It isn't what I think it is?" Yuri echoes, folding her arms and shaking her head. "I know what you're up to, you're trying to be the hero here and take all the credit for yourself!" She hmmphs. "Sorry, but I'm the student at Taiyo High School here, and I'm going to be the heroine that saves the day and her school!"

Just then, Yuri notices that Koto's hands are starting to glow, and she glances at them before looking at Koto again. "If you don't want to get badly hurt, then I suggest you drop what you've got and leave peacefully!" Yuri uncrosses her arms and clenches her fists. "Otherwise, I'm going to make you regret trespassing in my school!"

[KOTO]
Koto blinks a few times. "Uh..." Then he shakes his head, "... wait, you're a student here? Oh, great..." Koto sighs, then shakes his head before moving himself to a stance and swinging his left arm in front of him, "Henshin!"

And then he's covered in that prismatic glow as the student disappears under, of all things, a costume. One that looks at least protective! At least she's not getting that hard drive too easily. But now, Koto's not going to necessarily back down. Almost an intimidation factor going on there.

"Look, I do not want to hurt you, but either get out of my way or I will go through you!" Koto declares. And he's seriously hoping that Yuri hasn't been watching SNF or Neo-League recently with how much he hit those two circuits.

Some people might be startled by Koto changing his form in a sense. But Yuri is not the least bit startled, nor is she impressed at all. Instead, she simply steps back a little and rolls her eyes a little while sighing. "Just what I needed, someone who has been watching too many TV shows," Yuri says with sarcasm, before looking to face Koto again. "Yeah, I am a student here! I'm Yuri Sakazaki, one of Taiyo's best students here and..." Her face turns into a smile briefly as she adds, "I'm also the practitioner of Kyokugen Karate, the greatest fighting style in the world!" She taps her fists together before scowling again.

"But enough of that!" Yuri points at Koto and says, "If you think I'm going to let you walk out of here on your own, then you're highly mistaken!" She gets into her fighting stance and stares intently at Koto. "I am not afraid of any opponent, big or small! If you want to leave here, then you must go through me!"

[KOTO]
"Fine, then! Get ready to face the might of Mega Dragon Fighter, J-Dragon!" His hand comes up, even forming a J like symbol with one hand facing her. His formerly firm stance shifts as he widens it.

Then Koto moves forward, and drops down as a leg lashes out. Uncaring about the equipment around, a prismatic energy suddenly springs out in front of his swinging leg, aiming at Yuri's legs to try to literally sweep her off of her feet. "Dragon Swings Tail!"

Too many TV shows might be right, but the real danger is whenever the costumed fight spins upwards, and a second leg and wave of the prismatic energy comes out at Yuri, intending to knock her through the doorway, possibly, or at least into something around the room. Damaging equipment can happen during fights, right?

"J-Dragon? Psh!" Yuri rolls her eyes again. "You really HAVE been watching too much television!" From the way she's talking, one might think that she's not taking this seriously, but the truth is that she's just a natural at mocking her opponent from time to time. Sometimes she has a smile on her face while sometimes she's genuinely mocking them. Still, that doesn't mean that Yuri isn't anticipating an attack from her opponent. In fact, she knows Koto's definitely got something coming, but what Yuri doesn't realize is just how quickly it's coming.

As soon as Koto starts to kick at her, Yuri tries to bring up her defenses to block it, but it's no use. The J-Dragon (as he calls himself) is faster than Yuri expects, and she finds herself landing on the floor within seconds of being hit. Not wasting any time, though, Yuri immediately performs a kippup to get back onto her feet and then stares at Koto. "Not bad, but you were just lucky." Another hmmph.

"Now let me show you what I'm capable of!" Yuri rolls her arm back and attempts to shoot forth a small fireball at Koto. "Try this one on for size!" She adds as she shoots the fireball at the J-Dragon.

Coming down from the spinning wheel kick, Koto spins as he sees the incoming fireball, his arm glowing with the prismatic energy as he seeks to meet the fireball with his own version of one it seems, "Dragon Emperor!"

His arm swings upwards, a rolling prismatic wave briefly forms a dragon before shooting at the incoming fireball.

Surprisingly it works as the J-Dragon starts to advance slowly, watching his opponent. "Nice try." He comments off hand. "I do the Neo-League regularly, though. Fireballs aren't the weirdest thing."

As soon as the fireball is reflected back, Yuri shakes her head. "Oh great, here we go again." She says with a scowl. "I hate it when my projectiles get countered back at me!" But then her scowl turns into an evil smile. "But then again, I've got something up my sleeve too!" She giggles a little as she brings her hands up.

"Saiha!" Yuri calls out as she brings forth an arc of energy to catch the projectile coming at her. Or rather, it doesn't just catch it, but it deflects the projectile back at J-Dragon. "See how YOU like it!"

Seeing his own projectile coming back at him, J-Dragon just brings up his arms in a cross block. "Huh... never had /that/ happen before..."

Stepping in, Koto brings his arms up in the X block, then downwards as he tries something else. "Dragon Flame Swipe!" At least the name of that is for a good reason. Prismatic flames shoot out from his arms, not in a projectile, but a close arc meant to try to nail Yuri with it.

Flames coming out of the arms, huh? Not surprising either. Yuri watches as J-Dragon attempts to utilize his fiery powers to attack her. It's one of those times where you have to figure out how you want to protect yourself. As Harrison Ford was once told, "You must choose wisely." Will Yuri choose wisely here?

Oops, Yuri chose poorly!

She attempts to avoid the incoming fiery attack, but as luck wwould have it, she ends up getting burned a little by those flames that singe her a bit, causing her gi to blacken a little and leaving a few blisters. "Ow! Ow! Ow!" Yuri yells as she bats at the spot where she got burned. "OK, so that wasn't supposed to happen," Yuri mutters.

Once she's done talking to herself, Yuri glares at J-Dragon again. "So you got things a little heated up there. Not bad, but I wouldn't let your guard down so easily! When I get mad, I really tend to go all out!" She steps towards J-Dragon and attempts to throw a hard punch at his stomach.

Bringing a hand up to deflect her punch, J-Dragon shakes his head, "You sound almost as eager as I do for a fight."

Saying that, he steps to the side away from Yuri's punch, swinging a leg up at her side with a quick kick.

"Even then, I'm not letting you have the hard drive. I want to see whoever is using this brought to justice!" The costumed teen declares.

"Eager? That's an interesting way of putting it," Yuri comments as she brings her hand up to knock J-Dragon's kick away. Of course she is left shaking her hand in pain for a moment before looking at him. "Well, you're the one who insisted on fighting, so I suppose I have no choice but to fight in order to prove who's the greatest here!"

Taking a couple steps forward, Yuri says, "And now I'm gonna show you just how great I truly am!" She rushes in, attempting to deliver her own personal version of the Dragon Punch, albeit with some customization parts made to it.

Bringing his hand around, J-Dragon blocks the customized dragon punch, tilting his head. "Did you copy that or something?" He asks, then tries to grab Yuri and flat out throw her out of the room itself. No sense in staying in there with all that equipment, after all! Who knows what they might activate?

"Come on, you already showed me that I can not use my Dragon Emperor on you, is that all you have?" He asks as he advances towards her, making sure to keep the fight in the hallway now rather than the room they were just in.

Even though she had her attack blocked, Yuri still got back into her fighting stance as quickly as she could. She knew that it wouldn't be long before J-Dragon came back after her. "Hey, how do you know I'm not just warming up yet?" Yuri asks as she wtaches her opponent carefully, anticipating what might be coming next. And this time, her instincts pay off.

Yuri twists to the side to avoid being grabbed by J-Dragon, meaning he grabs nothing but air while Yuri smirks a little. "Oops, you missed me! Maybe if I get a little closer?" She asks as she attempts to grab him from the side and throw him into the hallway herself. "Why didn't you tell me you wanted to fight in the open instead?"

J-Dragon rolls with the throw, sliding along the hallway floor a little to roll to his feet. Instead of answering, his stance shifts as he starts to glow with prismatic energies again. That more open stance he had before is back, the one that had him hurling prismatic flames and weird projectiles... oh, and the tail throw. That can't be good, right?

"Uh-oh," Yuri comments, stopping suddenly and widening her eyes a little in a look of uneasiness. "Looks like I've gone a bit too far here..." She comments to herself. "Totally not cool." She taps her fists a few times and then resumes her fighting stance, keeping a close eye on J-Dragon in hopes that she'll be ready for him.

COMBATSYS: Yuri focuses on her next action.

Whatever he was gathering all of that energy for, J-Dragon isn't going to use it all just yet it seems even as he crouches down, then suddenly charges as prismatic wings flare behind him, then come down to envelop his arms.

The obvious focus point of the move is probably the least of the things to worry about as he tries to literally slam a glowing hand into her stomach and carry her down the hallway and outside. Even missing, he continues that way in hopes of taking this to a far more open area! Either that, or maybe he can try to escape?

"All right, come on! I'm ready for ya!" Yuri yells with an evil grin on her face. She gives a 'Bring it on!' gesture, almost like she's got this down pat. Unfortunately, she wasn't expecting J-Dragon to fly at her, and especially not with a glowing fist like that! Aimed right at her stomach no less!

"This is gonna hurt a lot," Yuri thinks to herself, although whether she's referring to herself or J-Dragon is anyone's guess. What can be said is that J-Dragon does land a punch to Yuri's stomach, but at the same time she manages to punch him as soon as he hits her. Yuri is send tumbling across the hallway and lands in a heap. "Unngh..." Is what one hears as Yuri forces herself back up slowly, rubbing at her stomach. "That really hurt me more than it did him!"

[KOTO]
The punch has J-Dragon stumbling a bit, actually managing to steer him into a wall rather than outside as he wanted, and the costumed teen shakes his head as he moves to stand if a bit wobbly from the impact into a wall no less as well!

At least one they are both up does J-Dragon decide to use all that stored up energy. A large burst of it appears on the floor before flowing up around a fist as he steps forward, and swings a hard, straight left at Yuri herself, "Dragon Punch!"

Said punch probably is not a good thing to get hit by either, at a guess, especially with the almost dragon like head around the fist admist all that crazy prismatic energy flying about it.

A Dragon Punch? Like the ones Ryu and Ken use?

Not quite, but it still looks powerful and painful. And definitely the latter is what applies here, as Yuri winds up getting hit full on by the punch. With the injuries she's already sustained, Yuri's only finding herself in more pain than before. In fact, she's finding it hard to keep herself standing on both feet. She drops to one knee, trying not to give up, but it's not looking good.

"Unngh... no... not here... not now..."

In a last ditch effort to leave a lasting mark, Yuri pushes herself back onto her feet and brings her hands behind her, summoning what is left of all of her chi, and then throws forth several large fireballs at J-Dragon. Whether or not they hit is irrelevant, because once Yuri throws the last one, she's going to fall flat on her face!

Breathing heavily, J-Dragon brings his arms up to block the incoming fireballs. He's not much of a dodger it seems, rather the immovable wall as he takes the fireballs head on. Afterwards, he looks to make sure Yuri's out.

Starting to walk away, the costumed man shakes his head. He can't leave her like that here. Not with what he knows goes on in this school. Moving over to Yuri, he picks her up and heads for a good spot away from the school.

While he won't give up the hard drive, he will at least share whatever he finds on it with her. They're both concerned about the V-Tech, after all, and it's only fitting that heroes work together in this case!
