Match of the Millennium

Description: Kelly has every reason to stay and defend the Hidden Village. But the elders of the town had a special mission for her. Escaping the forest, Kelly leads the children of the village to safety, taking them away, far away. Taking refuge in an abandoned cabin, she tries to contact her brother, trying to find out what to do. But she will have company soon enough. Felicia, lost without her Lee, only has the promise of Heihachi: Bring me those who escape the village, and I may let you know where you beloved Lee is. Felicia now tracks down Kelly, and realizes quickly that she must bring the children to the clutches of Heihachi. Is it worth a man's love to commit such an heinous act?

[KELLY]
As with all days, evening begins to fall. A lone cabin many many miles from Bastion village, it's windows lit at only a bare minimum, stands in the shadows of the trees around it.

Inside the cabin children sleep, exhausted with the recent ordeal. It was all Kelly could do to help them keep it together as they made their escape! Some miss parents, others are afraid to be leaving, tired, bathroom.....

Kids. you get the picture!

Closing the cabin door, Kelly leans against the wall, enjoying the cool night air and the long-awaited moment of silence to collect her thoughts. Luckily the cabin is rather modern: it has an electrical outlet, so her cellphone can charge! She'll be able to text her brother and find out what he might know about the situation.

She wipes at a mudstain on her jeans from earlier in the day, and takes a deep breath.

Better get some sleep. Tomorrow may be another long day. With that, she turns around to start heading back into the cabin......

[FELICIA]
One might say Felicia was sort of in the dog house--Lee had been beaten up and tossed in prison, or something like that--whereever Heihachi had stuck him. Possibly also in speedos, for all she knew--but right now she was out here because she was expected to get those kids back for Heihachi. He seemed keen on her continued presence--anything that Lee's he could take from him was a win in his books--but she did want to see what had been done with Lee. She was in a precarious position, but she was also going to see where this mission went. Shedding her Violet Girl form and attire, she'd taken to the field and tracked down this girl who had the kids. It hadn't taken her long--even though her outdoor and tracking skills were not what they could be, she still had a superhuman sense of smell and hearing.

A leaf or a few pine needles might be shaken free from a tree nearby Kelly as Felicia swings herself around and plants her feet on a branch high above, looking down at her. She's not hard to miss--5'6" buff woman with white fur along her arms and legs, red-clawed fingers and toes, and that huge shock of blue hair, it was close to electric blue--not exactly great camouflage. Then again, she wasn't intending on such.

"Hold on there, small dark and toothstome, I've been ordered to bring the kids back, but I'll leave that up to the results of a duel," she jumped down from the branch, her large white feet smacking into the ground with a muted whump. Kelly could likely see the elongated toes capped with red claw-like nails and how they gripped the earth--they had probably done similar to the tree branch above.

"Shhh," Felicia motioned for Kelly to close the door and held a finger up before her pursed lips in a 'hush', her knees bending and shoulders dropping into a fighting stance.

"GAH-" Kellys hand flies to her mouth before she can shout or scream in suprise. Was NOT expecting an ambush.... the idea had been to get far enough out to NOT be a target!

.... and someone wants the kids? Not on her watch! At least, not while she can still stand.....

Closing the door back the small amount it had been opened, she glares at Felicia "Bring them back? They're KIDS! Who wants them and what do they want them for!?"

Seeing Felicia drop into a combat position, Kellys eyes narrow, and the nerves under her skin on her hands and face begin to glow with blue light, looking like incandescent spiderwebbing along the surface of her skin "As long as i can still stand they aren't going ANYwhere.....".

Taking the initiative, and being rather aggressive more than she likely should, Kelly decides to take the fight to Felicia!

The glow brightens, as blue-white psionic energy forms in her hand, and with a grunt of exertion the gathered energy is projected at Felicia! Simple and basic, but keeps the catgirl at a distance for the time being!

COMBATSYS: Kelly successfully hits Felicia with Channeled Blast.

"Not to worry, sweetie, I--" Felicia had just given the side of one her large pawed hands a lick when Kelly suddenly attacks her--a chi energy user! Felicia is taken back by the sudden blast of energy, literally! She's thrown back, really--having to bring herself into a roll as she's flipped head over heels!

"Well then," Felicia blinks and furrows her brows, realizing there is a spot on her chest which looks scorched. Ew, burnt cat hair. She wrinkles her nose and spins into a ball, looking to try and speed towards Kelly to bounce into her!

Kelly shakes her head "We don't have to do this.... you can walk away any-crap!". Just as she had trained and practiced, Kelly brings her arms up, halting the impact of Felicias bouncing (not the dirty kind!). The shock DOES travel up her arms, and she slides back a few inches in the dirt from the impact, but she is otherwise none the worse for wear.

Looking to take advantage of Felicia coming out of the attack, Kelly moves in, attempting to grab the catgirl and shoulder throw her into the ground!

Should she succeed, Kellys very grip seems to burn with fire as she channels psionic energy through her hands and feet!

[FELICIA]
Felicia speeds along the soft earth, bouncing off of Kelly as she begins to unroll out of her Sonic the Hedgehog-esque rolled up state! Yeah she's totally getting copyright flagged for that. "Tenacious little one aren't you--she flips out of the roll and tries to land beneath Kelly's grasping arms--reaching out to try and swat at her with a large, white furred hand! One that is very much tipped with claw-like nails, of course. She looks like a cat trying to bat at something with their paw, especially since she's on all fours like that, tail lashing behind her.

%With a wince, Kelly flinches slightly as Felicia thwaps her! Specificly because those claws leave a nice set of gashes along her arm, easily parting her jacket to get at the soft flesh beneath! A trail of red seeps down her hand from under the sleeve....

Seeing Felicia down in what appears to be 'pounce' position as far as she knows, Kelly brings up a hand as close as she dares, and channels more energy into the palm, resulting in a bright flash of light right in front of Felicias face! Hopefully it'll draw a rash action from the catgirl that can be capitalized on!

Felicia is flashed blindingly--it proves too hot for TV and she is stupefied by it! She winds up swirly-eyed and staggering about--her large mane of blue hair getting in the way a fair bit, as well. Of course, even after being magnesed or flash banged like that, she still tries to defend herself--cracking her knuckles and glowing with chi energy as she tries to leap with her claws outstretched toward where she /thought/ Kelly had been standing--trying to swing and claw around her!

Luckily for Kelly, her gambit pays off!

When Felicia leaps in, Kelly has already moved out of position, blue orbs of psionic energy forming in her hands. As Felicia closes, she is slowed slightly as Kelly uses one of the orbs as a 'catchers mit' of sorts, before coming low, and blasting Felicias underside with the other, sending the catgirl flying!

Turning with her target, Kelly waits to see what Felicia will do next, exilerated a little. Her first real one on one and she.... seems to be winning?

[FELICIA]
The werecat had thought her senses were at least still right enough for her to land on her target--turns out she was wrong! Instead, she winds up rubber-banding against the orb of energy that Kelly summons and getting blown right the heck back! Ouch. She winds up thrown into a smoking heap where she rolls over the ground, finally springing back to her feet and looking dazed quite a bit still.

"D-Don't worry boss, I gotter right where I wan' 'er--c'mere you--" she stumbles drunkenly toward Kelly, trying to slug her with a slow but heavy right cross!

COMBATSYS: Kelly blocks Felicia's Strong Punch.

Kelly blocks again, unfortunately not thinking it through. The punch impacts the place Felicia had earlier scratched, sending drosp of red splashing out and making the girl visibly wince in pain!

The defense holds, however! Kellys follow-up attack is almost immediate!

Channeling psionic energy into one hand, she moves in with a focused palm strike aimed for the center of Felicias chest! Following through with the strike, she uses the momentum and spins in an arcing roundhouse kick, shifting her psionic focus to her foot! She really gives it her all, overextending slightly in the process in the hopes of ending this fight!

COMBATSYS: Kelly knocks away Felicia with Dead Man's Hand.

Felicia seems to start to come out of it as her fist rebounds off of Kelly's block, wringing her hand out afterward. She could land some real knockout style punches, it was true--but this girl was fast--and an energy bomb user. Felicia tries to move out of the roundhouse kick--but it caught by it--and in the process, she's blown right away by the energy that was added to the attack.

The children inside shift a bit in their sleep as they hear a muffled 'MYAAAAH!' from outside, followed by a series of muffled cracking noises as several trees are smashed in two by the path of Felicia's flying body.

Winding up in a smoking heap at the base of a final tree, which has now broken in two, Felicia is at the very end of a long skid-path through the forest floor, at that. She wisely turns into her white housecat form and begins to try and skitter off, while she is still able to!

Oh man, Heihachi is going to be /pissed/.

Catching her breath, Kelly looks to see the path of carnage left in Felicias flight path.

Did SHE cause that!? Wow....

... and with her own version of her brothers technique to boot! Pun definately intended!

She stands there, waiting, watching for Felicia to emerge and resume the battle..... but it never happens. Relaxing, and leaning back against the cabin, Kelly takes off the leather jacket, eyeing the bleeding scratch in her arm. Turning around, she spies several small faces peering at her through the window.

Well, after that, she isn't sure she'll be sleeping either for awhile. For now, she heads back inside to find the medkit and to patch the holes in her jacket sleeve.....
