Match of the Millennium

Description: All across the Southtown school board, the V-Gage Educator has been introduced as the newest means of fixing listless students. Not only does it serve as a motivating teaching tool, it has found a powerful niche in deterring problem youths from causing further issues. What would have been the way of the future for Japanese education is not considered favorable by all; Yuri is one such student, part of the pair that revealed to the UN just how insidious and seedy the V-Gage Educator really is. Counted among its supporters, Aaron arrives to learn about the V-Gage Educator as a representative of the Boy Scouts, but that isn't what Yuri should be worried about. The real cause for concern here is a young hothead named Batsu, who has gotten in his head that Yuri is against the V-Gage, and he intends to beat it out of her head any thoughts against it.

[BATSU]
Recently, Yuri and Sakura began investigation into the V-Gage Educator. Through their searching they discovered the existence of several chi batteries drawing energy from students hooked to the machines and, perhaps, more troubling, had a scuffle with several so-called educators before they were able to report their findings to the UN. Perhaps fearing retaliation, Yuri has not been troubled any further by any of the educators making use of the V-Gage. But how long can this peace last? Could the UN have really acted that swiftly, or would fear of it really be enough to stop whatever fiendish plot might be afoot at Taiyo High? Only time will tell.

For now, Yuri has a different task. A foreign student--an American Boy Scout, in fact--is visiting the school. Surely the two of them won't run into any trouble. Surely.

[YURI]
Having revealed what's been going on to the UN was the first step in getting this shut down. But Yuri had a feeling it wasn't over yet. Her suspicions were confirmed when she heard a supporter of V-Gage was coming to visit the school, which made her realize the V-Gage problem was only just beginning.

As Yuri walks through the halls of the school, she keeps her eyes peeled in hopes of finding this supporter whose name, apparently, is Aaron. He's some kind of Boy Scout or something similar, but that's all Yuri knows.

Hopefully no one will stand in her way, since she's got a burning desire to find this supporter and get as much information out of him as possible. She's not about to utilize violence, though, since she knows he's visiting and that would leave a bad mark on the school's reputation.

[AARON]
Aaron Fang, famed face of the BSA, was in Southtown. He had heard the reports of the chi battery used by the V-Gage Educator. He supported the device for being such an effective way to educate youths. While he found the placement of the chi battery in game consoles somewhat reasonable, it was their presence in education tools that raised questions. Aaron was going to find out answers.

He was walking towards Taiyo High near the track field. He was wearing a simple T-shirt and carrying his ironwood walking stick. He was going to met the girl at the center of the controversy, Yuri Sakazaki.

[BATSU]
While Yuri is not willing to use violence, there are unfortunately some that would welcome the opportunity.

"HEY!" shouts someone across the grounds. "KARATE GIRL! WHY DO YOU HATE EDUCATION?!"

And from the sound of the yelling comes Batsu Ichimonji, a familiar face around Taiyo High. Batsu screams teenage deliquent. He dresses like a biker, trends to being loud, and is more than willing to get into fights. In fact, Batsu is a bit infamous around Taiyo for being quite good at that very thing.

Or at least he was. Lately Batsu has spent a lot of time in detention. This may be quite troubling for Yuri. In conjunction with this extra time in detention, Batsu has, at least been causing less trouble. Or he wasn't causing trouble until now, at least.

Batsu stomps up toward Yuri, fists clenched at his sides. "Got nothing to say, huh?" Batsu asks again, not giving Yuri time to properly respond--or not listening if she does. "You and the American there are plotting something, huh? Well I won't let you!"

Batsu drops into a fighting a stance, raising his fists in front of him. He looks raring to go.

Yuri is not willing to use violence, no...

Check that, Yuri WAS not willing to use violence, no...

Batsu yells to her from nearby, and almost immediately she spins in his direction, recognizing his voice instantly. As soon as she confirms who it is, Yuri's surprised look turns into an angry scowl. Her fists clench and her eyes narrow.

"Batsu Ichimonji!" Yuri exclaims angrily once Batsu makes his appearance without giving Yuri a chance to even properly respond. "You've been quite the troublemaker recently, but now you want to start with me? And what American?" Yuri glances around and spots Aaron, giving him a slight glance as if to say, "Oh, it's you!"

Turning back to face Batsu, Yuri scowls again. "And my name is NOT Karate Girl!" Her mouth turns into a smile, giving that evil smile look that Yuri's known to give when she's admonishing an opponent. "I am Yuri Sakazaki of the Kyokugen-ryu style!"

Yuri taps her fists together a few times then glances towards Aaron. "Look, I don't know entirely who you are, but if you could help me out, that'd be great!" She doesn't realize that this is the person she was looking for, but now is not the time for that. She figures she can get her answers after she takes out Batsu.

Returning to her fighting stance properly, Yuri looks at Batsu and screams, "I'm ready for you, troublemaker! COME ON!"

Aaron saw Yuri, and then man who approached her and he saw Yuri's response. He saw the incoming fight and rushed to stop it. He ran over to the pair and held his hand forward, he started speaking in a loud authoritative voice in an attempt to quell the aggression.

"Stop right there, I see what's coming and I don't want a fight. If you disagree with Ms. Sakazaki, you can speak with her Mr.Ichimonji."

Being prepared as always, Aaron began to tie the string on his walking stick behind his back. Preparing his bow for the fight that he wanted to avoid, but seemed so imminent.

"I don't care who you are! If you're want to stop V-Gage education you'll have to go through me!" Batsu shouts, a bit oddly. Is this the same juvenile deliquent known throughout Taiyo High for causing trouble...?

"Speak with her? I'll let my fists do the talking!" Batsu barks back at Aaron--right before he powers toward Yuri. Batsu turns into the kick, swinging his leg around from behind and pivoting his whole body in a great crescent shape. The punk basically hurls himself bodily with a leap, bringing down a great heel kick toward Yuri's head if she's not careful!

But perhaps if Aaron is calling for a peaceful discussion, is Batsu biting off more than he can chew with both the youngest practioner of Kyokugen-ryu /and/ the face of the BSA?

"Go through you?" Yuri's eyes narrow even more. "Fine, if you wanna be difficult about it, I guess I'll have to show you some Kyokugen style justice!" Of course, Batsu already seems to have the upper hand by going on the offensive before Yuri even finishes speaking. Having a heel to the head is very painful, Yuri knows that firsthand, and she's not about to let it happen again. She raises her arm and deflects Batsu's attack off to the side. Yuri steps back a little and shakes her arm a little before looking to Batsu.

"You made a bad mistake picking a fight with me!" Yuri yells as she rolls her arm around a few times. "I'm gonna kick your butt good!" She looks to Aaron and stage-whispers, "For the record, just call me Yuri." Before looking to Batsu again.

"Hope you're ready to get your butt kicked good!" Yuri yells as she rushes in, attempting to bring her knee up fast and drive it into Batsu's stomach.

[AARON]
The moment he sees Batsu start to kick Yuri, Aaron rapidly pulls out his bow. He pulls the string back, without grabbing any arrows. Light quickly gathered at his finger tips. When he let go, he fired an arrow of pure light at Batsu. Aaron didn't start this, but he was going to end it.

Batsu leg slams down on Yuri's guard, his leg riding the momentum away and nearly throwing him off balance. "Hah! I was thinking the same thing!" Batsu snaps back at Yuri. When the knee rises up at his stomach, Batsu backsteps and uses his forearm to soak the hit. He grunts from the strain as muscle strains against muscle before trying to push Yuri back and away from him. He draws back a fist and gets ready to throw a follow-up punch, but that's when Aaron comes in.

There's a small window between when Batsu sees the light arrow and when it's fired. The deliquent turns and shoots a glare at Aaron, then spins and charges through the projectile at the Boy Scout. Light chi explodes over Batsu in a flash, but the teenaged fighter soldiers on through it despite the injury.

"You want some too, then?!" Batsu shouts at Aaron this time, still charging with his fist ready. He throws his whole body in the punch, clenching his fist tightly as he does.

Yuri winces a little as she's pushed away by Batsu's defense, but it barely even fazes her as she merely gets back into her fighting stance. "Nice defense, but I'm just warming up!" Yuri says sarcastically, rubbing at her thigh area briefly before she goes after Batsu. She stops as she sees Batsu attempting to go after Aaron, and waits until Batsu attempts to attack Aaron before she makes her next move, albeit while tsking a little.

"I know we don't share the same views about things," Yuri comments as she moves towards Batsu, "But there are other ways of handling this you know!" Yuri brings her hand behind her back and throws a small fireball at Batsu as she finishes her statement.

[AARON]
Aaron saw his arrow strike his foe, and yet he still charged forwards. Batsu threw a punch at the Scout, forcing him to defend. He held up his bow and the punch struck it and kept moving forward. The lessened punch hit Aaron, and he took a step back.

"I don't want any of this, I want you to stop your pointless violence!"

Aaron then replied to Batsu's violence with a mighty swing of his bow to Batsu's side. The carved eagle head delivering force like an ax blade.

Batsu collides with Aaron, the deliquent's fist smashing heavily against the bow. Ichimonji strains to try and push through it, but fails to overcome. "Well maybe you should have stayed out of it, huh?! Just like how America should have stayed out of helping Japan after what they did!" Batsu snaps back, right before Aaron takes a swing at the punk's side. Batsu blocks once more, bracing his forearm with his knuckles to keep the blocking from cracking a rib. What is he on about?

And then, Yuri hurls a mighty K'ou Ken. Batsu grits his teeth, then thrusts both hands forward. Chi surges through his body, then out his fist in a bright fireball that smashes into the K'ou Ken to stop it in midair.

"Don't think you're the only one who can throw those, Sakizaki!" Batsu says proudly. "Fireballs aren't that hard!"

"Fireballs aren't hard, no, but this--" Yuri's comment is cut off when she's hit by the fireball from Batsu that completely nullified her own. Not to mention, before she could even get her hands up to bring up her chi shield, she was hit. Talk about a double whammy.

The Kyokugen girl is knocked to one knee, clasping her stomach and gasping for air as she attempts to get back up. Once she's back on her feet, she rubs her stomach a little, groaning before glaring at Batsu. "And you haven't won anything yet, Ichimonji!" Yuri replies, echoing Batsu's choice to refer to her by last name. "You and your attitude are going to lead to your downfall!"

[AARON]
Aaron recovered as his heavy swing buckled. He continue to try to and understand the young man.

"Why are you even here! What do you want to do with the Yuri and the V-Gage. Are you just a political thug?"

He reacted to Batsu's attack on Yuri with a keen strike. He rapidly swung his bow down at Batsu's head, its hardwood beak like a blade.

"And ironwood's the hardest!"

"That's what you get!" Batsu says as Yuri buckles. He clenches his fists with excitement, but maintains his posture. "And you're next Am--" Batsu is clonked on the head, his block only serving to get him walloped instead of cut open. The punk staggers, clearly dizzied, before shaking his head and raising his fists again.

"She's the one who's the thug! She's already against education, but she's probably one of those Japanese nationalists too!" Batsu powers forward, looking ready for a punch. Instead, he feints into a heel kick and tries to step against Aaron's stomach. Shoving forward, Batsu then reaches forward for the grab, aiming to catch Aaron's arm and whip him around into a throw.

[YURI]
"Excuse ME!" Yuri snaps, ignoring the pain she's in from her previous injuries. "But I am NOT a punk! I am a mistress of Kyokugen Karate! And what do you mean I'm against education?" Yuri narrows her eyes and puts her hands on her hips. "I'll have you know I might not be a straight-A student, but I do my best and I do get good grades!" Yuri then sneers a little. "And calling me a nationalist? You got a lot of nerve, Batsu Ichimonji!"

As Batsu goes in for his attack, Yuri goes on the offensive. She rushes in, but in a surprising twist, she suddenly spins around and attempts to strike Batsu with her rear end. "If you think you're gonna kick butt, then how about taste of it too?"

The Eagle Scout's statement garnered the response of a heel to the gut and a grab by the arm. The resulting toss that landed Aaron a few feet away left the young man scraped and bruising. He came to stand, using his bow as a walking stick. He started trying to talk to Batsu again, in a more reasonable manner.

"But how can you know any of this Mr.Ichimonji? Instead of talking, learning about the other person, and disguising. You just walked up and started a fight! You didn't know if she were a thug or a nationalist! She might just be a student who has concerns over education policies? I don't quite know yet myself, because there been no discussion due to you preventing that."

" If you have a cause, do it justice and let your opposition speak."

while attempting to talk Ichimonji down, the scout began to give off a very faint, but warm white light.

Batsu Ichimonji is not always a smart kid, but he often makes up for that with bravado, guts, and an almost supernatural aptitude toward fighting. When Yuri launches herself at Batsu he powers into that tackle, which causes Yuri's rear end to slam heavily into his chest. Batsu slides backwards, his sneakers grinding across the pavement, but then he stops.

And that's when Batsu reaches forward, aiming to wrap his arms around Yuri's waist. If he does, Batsu turns, pivoting around to swing the karateka around him behind him and throw her bodily against a nearby athletic building.

"The V-Gage Educator is education and you hate it! It's much better than sitting there doing nothing! People are /learning/! Learning about the evils of Japanese nationalism!" What?

Batsu thrusts a finger at Aaron. "What do you know, American? You're probably in the same boat as her! There's already too much talking here!"

And so, Batsu starts advancing on Aaron, stomping gradually toward the Scout and rolling his shoulder.

Even though she's a little winded and has some bruises on her, Yuri refuses to let Batsu get the best of her that easily. In fact, she's got a little surprise for him! Because when Batsu wraps his arms around Yuri's waist, the Kyokugen girl suddenly slips free almost like it's nothing to her. "Guess again!"

Yuri scowls as she breaks free of Batsu's grip effortlessly. "It's natural to have differing views on things, but getting all violent and worked up over it?" Yuri grits her teeth and brings her fist back. "You're making the V-GAGE look less appealing with every thing you do, Batsu Ichimonji!" Then she thrusts her fist forward with a yell, aiming directly at Batsu's chest.

[AARON]
The Eagle's words went in one ear and out the other. When he heard him speak, it was clear that he was dripping with dogma. He felt pity for the poor boy, but had to deal with his advance. He saw the young man approaching with the ferocity in his gate. He opened up his musette bag, and pulled out an arrow. Aaron notched the arrow and pulled it to his cheek.

"I want to educate others Mr. Ichimonj! I see the V-Gage as a useful educational tool, but I am here because I have my doubts. If you didn't talk with your fists, I might have listened to you, but now your a danger to both me and Yuri."

Finishing his large serving of talking, Aaron released the string. The arrow itself lighted up with a deep red covering while emitting a white aura as it flew towards Batsu.

Batsu grits his teeth when Yuri slips out of his grasp. He grabs at her again, but his fingers slip harmlessly through the fabric at the edge of her gi. His grip slips, failing to find any purchase. Undeterred from his assault on Aaron, Batsu continues to advance even as Yuri moves to counterattack.

"Huh?!" Batsu says, squinting. "If you're for the V-Gage, why are you helping her?!" he asks, apparently not considering the fact he started the fight in the first place. Even for Batsu, he seems especially hot-headed. Misguided. Absent?

The arrow ignites with red and white, spinning through the air toward the deliquent. Batsu throws up both arms in a cross-block, the arrow crashing into his forearms with a bone-rattling impact. The chi arrow launches him backward, in fact, and Batsu slams heavily into the brick of a nearby storage shed.

And then Yuri is barreling down on him with a fierce punch. Batsu snarls, but he doesn't hesitate. Ichimonji plants a sneaker against the wall, briefly running up it before rappeling off the building like a rocket. Blue chi erupts around him as he twists into a spin, sheathing himself in power as he crashes into Yuri. The punch hits him clean in the side with a heavy, rib-cracking thump, but Batsu's seems to consider it a fair trade, his gritted teeth slipping into an enthusiastic smile as his boot connects.

"How was that?!"

[YURI]
Unfortunately, it seems Yuri's anger has gotten the best of her once again, as she attempted to go in and vent her frustration on Batsu, but instead gets a kick to her stomach and goes flying across the corridor, crashing into a nearby wall and crumpling over. The yelps one would hear could either be pain or could be humiliation. Regardless, it's obvious Yuri wasn't expecting that, and she's really paying the price now. "O-ow... why?"

As Yuri stands up, she rubs at her stomach and gasps. "No... did I break something?" She scowls a little. "No, it's just sprained.... I hope..." Yuri looks up at Batsu, her eyes slightly closed but she's still scowling. "I'll credit you for that one, Batsu, but you were just lucky." Yuri takes a few deep breaths, trying to zone herself out to block out the pain, and then starts to summon her chi into her hands. "If you can avoid this, you will really be lucky. But I wouldn't be so sure." Then she shoots forth SEVERAL large fireballs in a row, aimed right at Batsu!

[AARON]
Shocked by Batsu's attack on Yuri, he ran towards the melee shouting. "I am helping her because she is not my enemy. I am seeking the truth and want to know what she does. And secondly you are attacking HER! Unprovoked!"

The Scout rapidly swung his bow at Batsu's shoulder to draw his ire. The beak aimed to slice.

"Hah! Luck's an excuse people use to cover their butts, Sakazaki! Own it when you're outmatched!" Ichimonji grins wickedly, but then Aaron comes in from the side. The sharp edge of the staff slices through his coat and draws blood, but Batsu doesn't back down. Instead, he shifts his footing, drawing back a fist and ready to launch another attack.

That is, until Yuri unleashes a flurry of fireballs. Batsu buckles down, tightening his resolve and moving to block. He stops the first fireball, but another catches him wide open. Staggered, Batsu takes hit after hit from the barrage, which eventually brings him to one knee.

"Damn," Batsu swears before picking himself back up again. He shakes his head abruptly, but something is off. It seems somehow secondary to Yuri's assault. He seems somehow confused.

But then Batsu touches his side, finding blood. He looks to Aaron and snarls before powering in low. He bends forward at the knee, draws back a fist, then launches upward in a powerful uppercut.

Yuri smiles a little as she sees her attack hitting Batsu. "Serves you right for being so full of yourself!" Yuri says with a raspberry, albeit somewhat weakly. She then mocks dusting herself off a little before watching as Batsu goes in with an uppercut. "Aaron, look out!"

Her warning is not heard in time, unfortunately, and Aaron gets hit by the uppercut. This sends Yuri into a bit of rage as well. "No! Aaron!" She clenches her fists and grits her teeth before turning to stare at Batsu.

"OK, you might think that's an uppercut, but I got one of my own that I'm gonna show to you personally!" She dashes towards Batsu, clenching her fist tightly, before attempting to launch upwards with a spinning uppercut, almost like the Dragon Punch but with a Yuri-style touch to it.

It's not her signature punch, just a little something to resemble it on the ground.

[AARON]
Aaron's strike sliced Batsu slightly, but succeed in drawing him away from Yuri. He succeeded a little too well in fact. The powerful uppercut he threw at the scout bypassed his bow and rocketed him backwards into the air. He skid on his back before coming to stop near the grass. He meekly returned to a stand, then looked Batsu in the eyes. A slight red light starting to glow.

"Mr.Ichimonj I ask that you stop for a moment and think about your position right now. You are a teen aged boy who is attacking a student on school grounds while. You attacked her solely due to the views you ASSUME she has. Finally when the friend she was meeting stepped in to try to reason with you, you still attacked her. Do you really wanna be the bad guy here Mr. Ichimon. I ask you to stop this pointless violence, then we can all go on our merry way and not worry about this again."

Aaron then pulled a dozen arrows out of his bag and scattered them on the ground in front of him, tips dug into the grass. The air around him was bright red. At last he readied one arrow towards Batsu.

"This is your last chance! Stand down now!"

Batsu shakes his head, putting a hand to the side of his head. "Urgh...how did I...?" he grumbles, rubbing his face. "No, you guys started this by..." Batsu searches for words. "...nationalism..." Batsu shakes his head again. "Don't count me out yet! Batsu Ichimonji doesn't get pushed around!"

But then, Yuri slides in with a strong uppercut. Batsu slams his forearm against the blow, absorbing part of the impact before swinging his own right hook toward Yuri's chin.

" Can't let you interfere...they told me you were..."

"I don't care what they told you!" Yuri snaps, jumping back as the uppercut comes towards her. "You can't believe everything you hear! Otherwise you get into troubles like this!" She sighs a little and pauses to catch her breath before continuing. "I didn't want it to have to come to this, but it looks like I have no choice."

Yuri plants a foot into the floor. "You're gonna regret making me do this Batsu! But it's your own fault!" With that, Yuri jumps upwards, then flings a fireball downwards at Batsu.

[AARON]
Batsu refused Aaron's offer. Aaron let go of the string. The arrow flew at Batsu, it glimmered with red and white virtue.

Then he fired another one. And the next, and next and the next. The Scout was rapidly grabbing the arrows from the soil and firing them at Batsu. Each one glimmered like that last, forming a hail of arrows. After the twelfth arrow, it finally stopped.

[BATSU]
Batsu Ichimonji is a delinquent, a ruffian, and a brawler. He is known throughout Taiyo High as a fighting prodigy. Even as a high schooler with little formal training, Batsu is near infamous around Taiyo for being a world class martial artist using the self-taught style he developed over years of training in the so-called school of hard knocks.

But Batsu is more than a meathead. Sure he's quick to fight and a crass hothead, but Batsu has a strong personal code of honor. Anyone who knows him fairly well will tell you that Batsu isn't a bully. This? This is unusual behavior, even for Batsu. Even so, Batsu is fighting with all that formidable skill. He has to be stopped.

Batsu's eyes narrow when the bow is loosed. Arrow after arrow cuts through the air at him. Even in the face of this danger, Batsu's burning aura surges. His hand snaps back and with a mighty tug he yanks a shelf of volleyballs loose, swinging it around as a shield to block some of the shots. He punches through two arrows, teeth clinched. Another is sidestepped, narrowly missing his head.

Finally, Batsu thrusts his fists forward, his aura focusing into a massive, spiraling fireball. It punches through the last arrow but goes high, way over Aaron's head--and right toward Yuri, aiming to shoot her out of the sky!

"Rrrargh!" Batsu bellows incoherently.

[YURI]
There's one thing Yuri didn't count on, and that's being (literally) shot out of the sky. The arrow pierces into her and causes her to cry out with pain as she drops to the ground. The cry is notable, louder than anything Yuri has done throughout this fight. She staggers around for a moment, trying to remove the arrow, and when she finally does, she finds that it's got her blood on it. It hit her pretty badly. Yuri struggles to stand up but doesn't quite keep on her feet.

"Unnngh... not over... yet... Can't be..." Yuri looks at Batsu weakly. "I... haven't taught you... your lesson!" Yuri begins staggering towards Batsu quickly, almost like she's ignoring the pain she's in to come towards him. It's a foolish move, since she's about to pass out, but sometimes you have to take extreme actions.

Suddenly, Yuri launches into the air, spinning around with her leg outstretched, almost like she's doing the spinning kick made popular by Ryu and Ken, only with a more relaxed position. Partially due to the fact that's how Yuri does this...

And partially due to the fact once she hits the ground, she'll spin around and then fall flat on her face.

Aaron saw Yuri being shot out of the by Batsu's fire. As the fires around him burned, a fire within him burned brighter.

Vengeance

The Eagle Scout charged down Batsu, bow in hand. As he closed in, he swung his hooked bow in a massive arc to render Batsu's guard open. Then he would fill the gap with three arrows thrown at point blank range. His voice filling the air with one, rage filled word.

"RETRIBUTION!"

Batsu keeps his fists extended after shooting down Yuri with the Guts Bullet. His breaths are labored and heavy. After a moment, his fists drop and he exhales. "Yeah, that's what you get!" he says forcefully--but that's before he notices Yuri charging him down. She launches into a spin kick and Batsu draws back to try and punch through it. Punching through things is a frequent solution to problems in Batsu's life.

Instead, the leg catches him directly and smashes him across the side of his face and neck, knocking the deliquent across the pavement in a roll. Despite it, he staggers to his feet and turns toward Aaron. When he does, it's just in time to see the bow coming for his face. Batsu powers through it, taking the hit head on in the chest as he winds up with a two-fisted axehandle.

That is, until Aaron fires the three shots at point blank. They slam into Batsu, causing him to stagger backward, dizzy. He steps forward once, then twice in a steady advance to counterattack Aaron. What does it take to stop this man?

And it's then that Batsu falls forward onto his face, unconscious. Apparently it takes a maneuver like that.

But a short while later, Batsu hoists himself up. "What...happened? Where am I?" He looks over at Aaron. "Shit. Seriously, what happened? Did you do this? Who are you?"

COMBATSYS: Batsu takes no action.

Aaron's rage subsided once Batsu fell. Then he rapidly realized his situation. Batsu seemed very off, very different. He didn't seem to realize what happened or were he was. Aaron realized this likely meant a concussion. Not only did Batsu likely have a concussion, Yuri was also of his concern. He turned to Batsu and offered him a hand and spoke in an amicable and urgent voice.

"I'm Aaron, Aaron Fang. You came here to Taiyo High to start a fight with a Miss Yuri Sakazaki. I tried to stop you two from fighting but I failed. Yuri is knocked out and I fear you might possibly have a concussion."

The Eagle Scout then removed the string from his bow and offered it to Batsu.

"I think we should bring Yuri to the school nurse, if she's still in. I'll carry her there, so might I offer you to use this as a walking stick."

COMBATSYS: Aaron has ended the fight here.


[BATSU]
Batsu rubs his head. "Oh...yeah, the American, right?" Batsu snorts. "Why did I pick a fight with Sakazaki?" Batsu trails off for a minute, as it thinking deeply about something.

Then there's the frantic sound of whistling from a gym whistle. Batsu's head snaps toward it, and he seems to suddenly realize something.

"MISTER ICHIMONJI!" calls a faculty member. "We've discussed your deliquent behavior before! This means detention for you and whoever you've been drawing into those street fights!"

"Shit," Batsu says. "It's that V-Gage thing. They're using it somehow...doing something with people's heads. Some crap against Japan. I think Sakazaki was looking into it. They probably threw me at her to get her off it."

Batsu glances over at Yuri. "I'll take care of myself. You get her out of here. They come after her at home the other Sakazakis'll kick their asses."

Batsu stands up suddenly. "Watch out for yourself too, eh? These guys...they're bad news."

Two teachers jog up, each wearing nametags that mark them as "V-Gage Educator Support Staff." Batsu stands up to meet them. "Yeah, yeah, guess I'm up to no good, huh? Ruining Taiyo's perfect image." Batsu snarls.

One of the "educators" looks at Aaron. He's a dark-haired Japanese man with thick glasses. "You there, were you fighting too? We're going to have to give you detention." He glances at Yuri, unconscious. His colleague, a shorter, stockier man, elbows him. "--once you've taken her to the school nurse. Make sure the nurse knows she's a troublemaker too."

[AARON]
The Scout's concern over Batsu was redirected when the educators came. He quickly registiered Batsu's information before turning to the man. He prepared to deal with these men as best he could, with his voice. Aaron stood up with his back straight and faced both of the men with a bright cheery smile.

"Hello, I am Aaron Fang. I am a friend of Miss Sakazaki, and can assure you that neither of us caused trouble. When I came here to meet with with Miss Sakazaki, the young man you saw tried to attack her. My attempts to talk him down proved fruitless and it was a clear case of self defense."

Aaron hoped he could resolve this issue, and to prevent Yuri from using that same V-Gage.

"If there is an issue at Taiyo about fights, I would be more than glad to stay and resolve the issue to prevent any unnecessary disciplinary action."

[BATSU]
The two educators look at each other, then at Aaron. Batsu glances over his shoulder mouthing, 'What are you doing?' to Aaron. He then turns to look at the two technology specialists.

"Yeah, I started the fight with them," Batsu says with shrug. "You wanna punish somebody, it ought to be me." He puffs out his chest proudly--though he winces right afterward. It was, after all, a rough fight.

The two men look at each other again. "Even so, you shouldn't have gotten into a fight. Miss Sakazaki should have known to contact a teacher rather than trying to exchange blows with this deliquent." The taller man grabs Batsu by the ear, dragging him off. Batsu looks ready to punch the man in the jaw, but he holds himself back.

"The V-Gage Educator is already doing a great job of curbing this school's discpline problem, just as advertised," the shorter man says with a huff. "If you want to help," he continues as Batsu and his colleague leave, "Take Miss Sakazaki to the school nurse. Let her know that she has detention and should report to the detention hall as soon as she's got a clean bill of health."

[AARON]
Aaron looked at the two men, and responded simply and plainly. "I don't think either of us could run that fast."

Aaron was not going to stand down. He was willing to talk and reason every way he could to prevent Yuri from any unjust treatment.

"I do not wish to lie to the school nurse and call Miss Sakazaki a troublemaker."

[BATSU]
The educator adjusts his shirt, unwittingly showing the Violet Systems logo sewn into the breast. He face reddens as he grows aggravated. "I should have known some Amer--"

Suddenly, the other man yelps over the sound of violence. The shorter man talking to Aaron spins around with concern, then snaps back to look at Aaron.

"Fine! I don't care what you tell them, just get her out of here. Ichimonji is causing more trouble again sounds like, so I've got to take care of that," he snarls. "I would have thought he'd have learned to behave better by now."

The man turns to stomp off, pulling out his phone and calling someone.

[AARON]
Aaron let out a sigh of relief. He lifted the unconscious Yuri, and walked to the nurse's office.

Even though his meeting with Yuri had been prevented, he gained plenty of information regarding his questions. The Eagle Scout was going to have to stay nearby to figure out what was going on.
