Eclipse Umbra, who appears on the surface to be a young American man, is the latest success in NESTS's original cloned human creations. Born from an attempt to make a hardy operative suited for solo missions, Eclipse puts a stern and wary front to the world, skilled at fighting with a knife as well as using his black "shadow" chi, so dubbed by an overimaginative NESTS scientist. Behind his front, Eclipse is still growing and maturing, learning the proper ways of the world apart from his manufactured memories of a hard, scavenging lifestyle and a lost little sister whom he still searches for, living to try new things and meet new people. Later, Eclipse may have to stab these people, and his fanatical, familial loyalty to NESTS and Igniz means that he will not hesitate even in the slightest to do so.
