Match of the Millennium

Carmine Kolodzik comes from a tradition of New England police on both sides of the family that goes back as long as there's been a New England, and was probably active in the Old World before that. A fresh member of the Metro City Police Department and an up-and-coming fighter to boot, Carmine is an excellent investigator and victim interviewer... and little else. Up until he was selected by the mayor of Metro City for "special training," and even still, Carmine was prone to all sorts of low-level accidents and breakdowns on the force, and on top of that, has a rough time asserting himself among his peers... but at the very least, his heart's in the right place, and his compassion and desire for social justice are second to none. He fights with what appears to be relatively mundane judo techniques... though his knowledge of how and when to apply them seems to radically outstrip his training.
