Match 7: Maylee vs. Dan -- 1v1 Standard -- 6 PM -- Saikyo Dojo

Notes: No special rules this week. I'm seeing some people who I presume are new players on the list however. So if anyone here doesn't understand what type of match they've been assigned to, now is the time to page or @mail me and ask for rules clarifications.
EDIT: Corrected all the 'TBA' location entries, added Match 7 as it was an oversight; I wrote this match down, forgot to post it. Sorry, Dan and May. You're in a match after all and I goofed up, was all.

SNF Results: 10-1-2005 -- Sun Oct 2 2005 -- Geese
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Match 1: Iori vs. Cammy & Mimiru -- 2v1 Simultaneous -- Winner: Cammy & Mimiru ($55,000 apiece)
Match 2: Kensou vs. Eagle -- 1v1 Standard -- Winner: Eagle ($32,000)
Match 3a: Sakura vs. Vanessa -- 1v1 Standard -- Winner: Vanessa ($45,000)
Match 4: Mai & Hokutomaru vs. Kasumi & Dong Hwan -- 2v2 Sequential -- Winner: Kasumi/Dong Hwan ($34,000 apiece)
Match 5: Gabriel vs. Alma with Jiro as Agent -- 1v1 Chaos -- Winner: Alma (See Notes)
Match 6a: Shingo vs. Foxy -- 1v1 Standard -- Winner: Shingo ($50,000)
Match 3, I have no clue what happened here. Someone wasn't available at some time or another, and Leona got dropped from the match to make this a 1v1. I'm not sure who's at fault for this, so I'm not issuing any official forfeits on the matter and allowed Match 3a instead. Match 6 had not even started at the deadline, with Kula still idle, and I have no notice in my @mail as to why. Benimaru apparently stepped out to let this become Match 6a, and I apologize to Benimaru that he did not get to fight because of that. Kula is given a Forfeit Loss for Non-Attendance Without Notice. Main Event: Gen vs. Kain -- 1v1 Standard -- Winner: Gen ($85,000)
Notes: As usual, notes are a mix of IC and OOC reactions to things; presume OOC unless I state 'public announcement' or something like it. First off, since this issue came up THREE TIMES in this week's SNF, I'm going to say this again. You guys need to get your notes straight on who's sending in the results @mail. If you DON'T discuss it, then whoever wins needs to assume they're the one who's responsible for @mailing results. So get it figured out, and if you can't, it defaults to the match winner to do it.
Match 5 apparently became far more chaotic than I could have expected. Once the cameras stopped, Jiro attacked Alma post-match. This probably resulted in the camera crews resuming filming as fast as they could. My understanding is Ash and Duolon jumped in to help Alma out, smacking Jiro around. As a result, the following payouts are awarded:
Jiro, upon investigation, is considered to have been Provoked by being thrown around as a 'weapon' during the fight. He behaved in a rather 'dirty' fashion by attacking in such a sneaky way, but nonetheless is not penalized for it. However, Howard-owned sports networks probably highlight reel it and spin it as a very nasty, mean thing to do. Jiro still gets $7,500 though. Alma gets $10,000, Gabriel gets $1,000. Ash and Duo get a mixed message as I note/warn on TV that "vigilante security" is generally frowned on in SNF matches, but then say they did something commendable by stepping in to prevent excessive post-match brutality, and are openly offered cash gifts of about $2,000 apiece. Of course, the ratings boost from causing the SNF broadcast to jump back to that sort of 'cool looking pandemonium' was probably a big influence on giving them gifts too, but that goes unsaid.
More summarized, Match 5 had a very interesting ending to it and I may do something with this as creative sparks come to me. Everyone involved with this deserves some OOC credit, as it gives me a lot of RP ideas to work with soon. Thank you.
Match 7 apparently had schedule incompatability on both sides, and Dan and May seemed to have talked it over. This one is just filed away as Did Not Happen, No Result, notice given. I could not seem to arrange an alternate match. I will place both Dan and May as high priority for matches next week -- sometimes people have to sit out due to a lack of compatible matches for me to make, and next week these two definitely won't be sit-outs.
Signups are cleared. Feel free to enlist for the next SNF. My apologies for this post being so long; I had several topics to cover, esp. due to how Match 5 turned out.

Match 3: Gen, Benimaru, Cammy, Kain -- 4-Way FFA -- 2 PM -- Park

Rules and Notes: No special rules this week. However, I should note Match 6 is a special request by Chin. I won't always grant requests, and I'm far less likely to do so if I've already recently granted one, but I saw no problem with this match. Have fun with it, Chin.

SNF Results: 10-8-2005 -- Sun Oct 9 2005 -- Geese
------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Match 2: Mimiru vs. Alma -- 1v1 Standard -- Winner: Alma ($10,000)

Match 4: Maylee vs. Kasumi with Tony as Agent -- 1v1 Chaos -- Winner: Kasumi ($30,000. Tony gets $15,000)
Match 5: Jiro, Gabriel, Tran -- 3-Way FFA -- 2nd: Jiro, Tran (Tie, $4,500 apiece) -- Winner: Gabriel ($11,000)
Match 6: Chin vs. Kensou & Kelvin -- 1v2 Simultaneous -- Winner: Kelvin & Kensou ($30,000 apiece)

Main Event: Geese vs. Sakura & Shingo -- 1v2 Simultaneous -- Winners: Sakura & Shingo ($55,500 apiece)
Rules and Notes: Tony replaced Foxy in Match 4 due to non-attendance by Foxy with no notice given to me. Foxy's non-involvement is NOT considered a Forfeit Loss since Agents cannot technically win or lose matches.
Match 1 is unusual and bears clarification on how I feel about its outcome. After checking my @mail and speaking with a few people, it turns out Acacia's player had to go, and posed out doing a move that KOed the character outright. This left an apparent 2 on 1 at hand, and a Draw was offered to the remaining fighter. After viewing a copy of the log, and being given insight on the OOC motives around what happened, I made a decision.
Normally I would ICly be very quick to punish a Negotiated Draw (which this match was), but the situation at hand is too 'good natured' to be openly harsh on without drawing major PR flak for it. As the log I saw was labeled a Draw, and the characters declared a Draw in a situation where it makes sense to do so...normally? Normally I'd call this a No Result, but since the log's already labeled as a Draw and apparently published, I'll uphold this as a Draw with no IC repercussions, especially since I OOCly agree with the motives behind the outcome. All fighters are awarded a Draw on their Record and receive $23,000 apiece. Again, ICly this upsets me, OOCly, I agree with how this situation was handled.
Everything else seems pretty straightforward so I see no reason to comment on the other matches. I've cleared signups, you're welcome to enlist for the next SNF effective immediately.

SNF Matches: 10-15-2005 -- Fri Oct 14 2005 -- Geese
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
MATCHES ARE IN METRO CITY unless otherwise noted.
Match 1: Mimiru vs. Tran -- 1v1 Standard -- 10:30 AM -- Subway
Match 2: Hokutomaru vs. Kelvin -- 1v1 Standard -- 11:00 AM -- Metro ("Geese", heh) Bridge
Match 3: Rose vs. Saishu -- 1v1 Standard -- 2 PM -- Park
Match 4: Maylee vs. Karin -- 1v1 Standard -- 2:30 PM -- Top of Double-Decker Bus, mobile, starts at Beach.
Match 5: Shenwoo vs. Benimaru with Cammy as Agent -- 1v1 Chaos -- 3 PM -- Arcade
Match 6: Megumi vs. Sakura -- 1v1 Standard -- 3:30 PM -- Mall
Match 7: Bao vs. Kasumi -- 1v1 Standard -- 4 PM -- Slums
Match 8: Rolento vs. Dong Hwan & Gabriel -- 2v1 Simultaneous -- 4:30 PM -- Sound Beach, Southtown
Match 9: Gen vs. Shingo, Alma, & Damian -- 3v1 Simultaneous -- 5 PM -- Industrial District
Main Event: Charlie vs. Iori -- 1v1 Standard -- 7 PM -- Howard Arena
Notes: All matches this week are in Metro City, EXCEPT for Rolento's match. This is mostly for a change of pace. OOCly, this is a not-so-subtle move to encourage some RP over there for variety. ICly, this week is a 'charity SNF' of sorts; every prize awarded to a fighter will be matched in charitable donations to rebuilding damaged parts of the city (or covering other expenses related to that). Rolento is obviously not being booked to fight in Metro.
Match 4 should, grid-wise, stay in the Beach room. But the bus will begin moving to other parts of town once the match is underway; feel free to pose/emit as appropriate.
Main Event is also taking place in Southtown, obviously.

Results Delay -- Sat Oct 15 2005 -- Geese
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Results will be slightly delayed today, as I'm going to be busy almost all day today. Expect to see them later, such as tomorrow or so.
==============================================================================
SNF Results: 10-15-2005 -- Sat Oct 15 2005 -- Geese
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Match 1: Mimiru vs. Tran -- 1v1 Standard -- Winner: Tran ($10,000)
Match 2: Hokutomaru vs. Kelvin -- 1v1 Standard -- Winner: Draw ($13,000 each)
Match 3: Rose vs. Saishu -- 1v1 Standard -- Winner: Draw ($30,000 each)
Match 4: Maylee vs. Karin -- 1v1 Standard -- Winner: May Lee ($30,000)
Match 5: Shenwoo vs. Benimaru with Cammy as Agent -- Winner: Draw (See Notes)
Match 6: Megumi vs. Sakura -- 1v1 Standard -- Winner: Sakura (See Notes)
Match 7: Bao vs. Kasumi -- 1v1 Standard -- Winner: Bao (See Notes)
Match 8: Rolento vs. Dong Hwan & Gabriel -- 2v1 Simultaneous -- Winner: Dong Hwan & Gabriel ($35,000 apiece)
Match 9: Gen vs. Shingo, Alma, & Damian -- 3v1 Simultaneous -- Winner: Shingo, Alma, Damian (See Notes)
Main Event: Charlie vs. Iori -- 1v1 Standard -- Winner: Iori ($85,000)
Notes: Well, that's funny. I book a lot of the same match type this week to make up for last week being mostly team fights and similar things. What do I get? Several Draws/DKOs.
Match 5 is a draw with an Agent involved. Cammy gets $60,000, while Shenwoo and Benimaru get $20,000 each. Shenwoo also gets a color-edit which turns his hair black, his vest brown, shirt white, and his pants to blue denim, along with being renamed to Shenmue. ...I'm kidding.
Match 6 apparently became a 100% charity match, according to @mails I have. Sakura donated her entire winnings ($50,000) to Metro relief, and Megumi did likewise with her loser's pay ($5,000). Sakura, victorious, apparently took the chance to do a quick on-camera interview about sympathizing with the people of Metro. Total donations come up to $55,000, which I obviously match per the 'charity theme' for this week's SNF.
Match 7 became mostly charity. Bao donated 80% of his prize to relief efforts, which amounts to him taking in $4,000 and donating $16,000.
Match 9 apparently went oddly, as Gen was reportedly annihilated by bad luck. Also, Naerose reportedly attacked the announcer and took his place. I'll uphold that (Naerose is likely able to beat up any SNF Security who might've tried to stop her, as they're all non-Ratio entities), but I'm not sure how I'll respond to it ICly yet. Could be interesting.

SNF Matches: 10-22-2005 -- Fri Oct 21 2005 -- Geese
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Matches this week have all moved back to Southtown. I am not defining locations or times except for the Main event.
Match 1: Duck vs. Kasumi -- 1v1 Standard
Match 2: Tiffany vs. Hokutomaru -- 1v1 Standard
Match 3: Vyle & Gabriel vs. Jiro & Tran -- 2v2 Simultaneous
Match 4: Megumi vs. Mimiru, Alma, & Niesje -- 3v1 Simultaneous
Match 5: Shingo vs. Heavy D! -- 1v1 Standard
Match 6: Iori vs. Chun-Li -- 1v1 Standard -- A nunnery
Match 7: Cammy vs. Daigo -- 1v1 Standard
Match 8: Gen, Benimaru, Rolento -- 3-Way FFA
Main event: Charlie vs. Kelvin & Sakura -- 2v1 Simultaneous -- 7 PM -- Howard Arena
Notes: Because a few people mentioned they needed to step out, I'll point out a cool command on the Signup object. It's +wimpout. Immediately removes you from the list. Feel free to make use of that instead of, or alongside with, notifying me that you won't be in.
Match 6 is obviously a joke location. Do that one wherever you wish.
Despite the bug in movelist names, these matches should proceed as planned. I spoke with staff and was told this bug shouldn't cause SNF to be cancelled, so I'd like to proceed.

Notes: My middle finger is elevated at certain people OOCly right now. They know who they are. Also, I have additional notes to present, but they're lengthy enough that this should be a two part post for purposes of spam-management. So, check the next post for info on matches 2a, 4, 6, and an apology to Kensou and Niesje for misbooking them.
EDIT: Apparently Kensou DID get a match after all. I've added the result as Match 9, above. My apology to him in the next post still applies, however.
Signups are cleared, so you can join up for the next SNF immediately.
==============================================================================
SNF Notes: 10-22-2005 -- Sun Oct 23 2005 -- Geese
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
This post contains extra notes, since I need to apologize to some people, ban a match type, and so on.
Niesje, Kensou, my apologies. I misbooked both of you. Niesje was able to be moved to Match 2a, but my substitute match for Kensou never happened as far as I can tell. Kensou, I'm sorry. Leaving you out of the normal bookings was not intentional, my notes file had you marked as "assigned to a match" and I failed to double-check. You will get a match in your next SNF, as a top priority to me OOCly.
Match 2a makes me need to remind people of something. SNF staff and equipment are, in theory, not to be used as weapons. Sometimes I'll go along with this since it's interesting; I like adding a sort of pro wrestling flair to SNF and this certainly provides that. Other times, I'll leap out of the shadows to beat you down for breaking my stuff and hurting my employees. So, from now on you're advised that using SNF employees, members of the audience, or SNF equipment is considered to be signing up to play Russian Reppuken Roulette. I may beat you down for it, or I may let it go in the name of wild entertainment. You never know. Either way, ICly doing any of those things is now considered Consent for me to do a run-in and unleash havoc; do so only if you're willing to risk a 50% chance I'll do that, or a 50% chance I'll enjoy what antics you're doing and let them go uninterrupted.
Match 4 is just the latest in a historical string of 3v1s that have gone poorly. I didn't expect the result this one had. In fact, I expected this week to be a repeat of Gen's 3v1, where the team of low ratio people quickly swarm-annihilated their opponent. That didn't happen, instead we got a lengthy bout that reportedly lasted six hours, but even a swarm-annihilation would've been undesireable in hindsight. These matches, regardless of outcome, clearly frustrate people. For that, I apologize for booking this 3v1. Further, I'm going to announce that I am done booking 3 to 1 matches. The maximum total I'll go for from now on is two attackers to one target. 2v1, 4v2, 6v3, etc. 3v1 clearly DOES NOT WORK from a "keeping people happy" perspective, so we're done with those. I apologize to anyone who has been OOCly frustrated due to a 3v1 match.
Match 6 apparently DID take place in a church -- close enough to the "nunnery" joke location I offered as a nod to SvC Chaos. I'll have a chuckle over that, thank you. Also, Match 8. Rolento receives a free first-aid kit under Tylenol's "OUCH!" advertising campaign for eating a Zan'ei AFTER he was KOed, as a defensive maneuver by Gen. That had to hurt. Everyone give this man a hand for being the recipient of two MAXes in a row. Chances are those hits have caused him to lose at least one of his own hands, so he'll need yours.
I think that's everything. Sorry about the length of this post, but I wanted to go ahead and point out what I needed to.

Notes: No times or locations specified except for Main Event, I'll leave that up to you to sort out. Kensou, I definitely made sure you got a match this week. Match 2. This week's theme for the main event is "Power vs. Speed," no special rules for that obviously, but let's see how this turns out.
EDIT: Revised several matches. This is what I get for booking while sick and busy. Most notable change is Foxy is no longer double-booked.
==============================================================================
SNF Results: 10-29-2005 -- Sat Oct 29 2005 -- Geese
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Match 1: Charlie vs. Kain -- 1v1 Standard -- Winner: Kain ($70,000)
Match 2: Kensou vs. Hokutomaru -- 1v1 Standard -- Winner: Kensou ($35,000)
Match 3: Vanessa vs. Eiji with Rolento as Agent -- 1v1 Chaos -- Winner: Eiji (But see notes, this gets weird.)
Match 4: Foxy vs. Acacia -- 1v1 Standard -- Winner: Acacia ($45,000)
Match 5: Mimiru vs. Momo -- 1v1 Standard -- Winner: Momo ($7,500)
Match 6: Alma, Gabriel, Vyle -- 3-Way FFA -- Winner: Vyle ($10,000) -- 2nd: Gabriel ($5,000), Loser: Alma ($1,000)
Match 7: Kelvin vs. Kasumi -- 1v1 Standard -- Winner: Kasumi ($30,000)
Match 8: Chun-Li vs. Megumi & Bao -- 2v1 Simultaneous -- Winner: Chun-Li ($75,000)
Match 9: Rose vs. Duolon & Dhalsim -- 2v1 Simultaneous -- Winner: Duolon & Dhalsim ($75,000 apiece)
Main Event: Daigo & Shenwoo vs. Cammy & Benimaru -- 2v2 Simultaneous -- Winner: Daigo & Shenwoo ($80,000 apiece)
Notes: Match 3 was flagged OOCly by one of the participants as something I should review the log of, when available, and rightly so. You've probably noticed that I'm seemingly random in punishing 'unfair' behavior on SNF, for various reasons. In the case of Match 3, Eiji and Rolento negotiated a team-up on Vanessa that ended in Eiji staying standing. Of course, there was no rule against recruiting the Agent to help you; there is one now, but it is not retroactive. Eiji receives $45,000 and Rolento receives $25,000, with Vanessa getting $4,500. However, there are going to be some interesting IC results and matches for this one in the future, it's just too good a set-up to ignore. So everyone gets their full pay and this is upheld as a win for Eiji, but I make menacing remarks on TV about how "what comes around, goes around" and all that.
I would like to take the time to remind people that in FFAs, the order in which fighters are KOed does matter. I need to know this stuff, and had to go digging it up in the case of Match 6 since I was only told who won. Please keep this in mind; I need the order of KOs.
Another Reminder, since two people failed to properly report this week: Winner is supposed to file the victory @mail to me. Often times the loser will do it too and this is definitely appreciated, but the winner needs to presume they'll be the only one to mail. Signups are cleared, feel free to enlist for the next SNF.
