Description: Kyo does battle with Cammy, and the young woman does fairly well for herself. Pretty well wasn't good enough to defeat the Scion of Flames, though! (Winner: Kyo)
It wasn't a spot quite near Justice High, but it was in the forest nonetheless. A smallish clearing in the forest, actually. It was there, crouched with feet set upon one of the branches of the trees ringing the small clearing, hands grabbing the branch beneath her feet, that one Cammy White lurked, waiting for her opponent to arrive. Well, she had been waiting a while, as she arrived to the event far too early than was necessary. With the occasional furtive glance to some of the cameras hanging from trees, and such, Cammy turns her attention towards the center of the clearing, breathes a sigh, and stands up atop the branch, releasing it as she hops down from the branch to the ground below, the edges of her clothing rustling with that downward movement. Not that she was wearing much to rustle, other than a crimson windbreaker. Besides that, she was wearing a thick, dark blue one piece swimsuit, one that was fairly modest (at least for a swimsuit), as well as boots, and her little beret that she so liked.
Ryu has arrived.
Kyo Kusanagi trudges towards this very same clearing, hands shoved in the pockets of his jeans, head angled towards the mossy ground. To look at him you wouldn't really imagine that he's on his way to an sanctioned street fight; the young man simply looks like he is just wandering around the woods, absorbed with his own thoughts. That is until he stops at the edge of the clearing and withdraws his right hand from his jeans, pulling out with it a small, torn-off piece of paper. He glances at the slip, then up at the clearing, confirming something to himself, then carelessly tosses the paper to the ground.
Littering? Not exactly: Right before the piece of paper touches the ground, flames suddenly flicker to life at it's edges, quickly disintegrating the scrap into nothing more than ash that sifts down between the blades of grass.
Kyo steps into the middle of the clearing, and waits.
Cammy was in the midst of stretching her arms above her head, and standing up unto her tiptoes when she first spots the arrival of the firey warrior. For a moment, the once-Doll pauses, her head canting to the side as her eyes flicker up and down upon the form of Kusanagi. At least, until they are drawn by the small wisp of smoke the burning paper had left. "Hmmm..." Cammy says, falling down from her stretch with a slow motion, one of the girl's bare hands lifting up to the zipper on her windbreaker, and unzipping it in a short, fast motion, before she shrugs it off of her shoulders, and pulls her arms from the sleeves in the same motion, the windbreaker fluttering to the ground right there.
"Kyo... Kusanagi?" Cammy says clearly as she approaches the center of the clearing herself, stopping a short distance away from him, curiousity written upon her features. She must've been one of the whole three people in the world that didn't know what he looked like. She had heard of him, of course, but... "If you are, then we're to fight. If you are not, this is not a good place to be standing." Cammy informs the man, her stance relaxed.

Kyo has himself a little private smirk before his head inclines his head upwards to regard Cammy. "You're just practice," he says confidentilly. His other hand withdraws itself from his jeans pocket, joining the other one in hanging loosely by his sides, "...if you wanna taste the ground, feel free to attack me."

Just practice? Lifting up one of her brows, any trace of a smile vanishes from Cammy's face as her eyes rise to settle upon Kyo's face.
"Hmm!" she says, canting her head to the opposite side with a little flick. And from that seemingly relaxed posture, she was suddenly in motion. Kicking off of the ground, Cammy crosses the distance between herself and Kyo in the space of a instant, the student throwing her arms wide, before she attempts to slap them around Kyo's waist, and if she gets a grip there, with the same fluid motion... and a small dose of psycho power into her limbs to enhance her strength... she would heft Kyo up off of the ground, bring him over her head, and bash the top of his skull into the grassy ground behind her in a suplex.

Kyo rolls away from getting bashed head-first into the ground, and the first thing he does is reach up to brush away any blades of grass that may have gotten caught in his hair, "Cute. Let's see if you can keep it up..." he muses to Cammy. This time, however, his arms are raised, as he adopts his usual ready stance.
With her feet still upon the ground, Cammy pulls herself up from the severe backwards lean the suplex had put her in, into a stand, right before she whirls around towards Kyo, her fists coming up before her defensively. At least, for a single moment. Taking a step towards Kyo, Cammy also crouches low before him, every muscle in her muscular body tensing. And in a explosion of movement, Cammy kicks up off of the ground, whirling three times in place before Kyo, but on the third whirl... she lashes out her right forearm towards the cheek of Kusanagi. That would likely sting enough, but the flare of bright blue Psycho Power would likely sting more. Should it hit.

A forearm comes up to contest Cammy's spin knuckle technique, the flare of energy dispersing in a bright blue burst against Kyo's defense, which makes the scion of the flames glance for a second at the spot on his arm where Cammy's attack just struck him. "So, you use 'that' kind of energy, huh? Well, that will make this a little harder!" Now his other arm whips into action, summoning forth a plume of bright crimson red flame in it's hand, then pushing it out in a large burst that seeks to blast the petite fighter away.

Petite she may be, but quick she was, too. Already in the motion of hopping away from Kyo after her technique finishes, Cammy backflips once away, her hand lashing out towards the ground and picking something up, then sideflips to the side, the burst of flame passing harmlessly by her. But Cammy didn't quite stay still. Hunching her torso somewhat, Cammy lashes out her arm towards Kyo, the object she picked up before turning out to be... a good sized rock, the Doll immeadiately beginning to sidestep towards the trees on the edge of the clearing.

Kyo smirks, that won't work on him. Spinning on his heel, his white leather jacket flares out around him as he unleashes a perfectly-timed roundhouse; the heel of his boot makes contact with the rock and sends it right back Cammy just as quickly as it was thrown at him... if not faster.

Throwing rocks doesn't seem to work on the young woman, either. The rock was fast... much much faster due to Kyo's propulsion than Cammy could likely ever do with her own limbs. That doesn't stop her from whipping her face out of the way of the rock, the girl pausing a moment to grin a wide grin over at Kyo. "I'm good practice, huh?" she says, before lowering her torso close to the ground, throwing her arms out behind herself... and charging Kyo's position in a rapid sprint, the Pacific High student veering at the last moment, and throwing herself unto her side by one of Kyo's sides. Hefting her feet up into the air with a kicking motion, Cammy shoves off of the ground, and launches herself into the air, pulling her left leg out of the way as the ball of her right foot shoots upwards towards Kyo's chin, encapsulated in a thin sheath of bright blue psycho power. "Almost everyone uses energy! SPIKE!" she calls out. A belated response to Kyo's comment earlier.

Kyo is forced up into the air by the cannon spike after a failed attempt to grab Cammy's leg, but manages to flip his body around in the air so that when he does land, it's on his feet. He wipes a small trickle of blood off his lip, "Maybe I should start fighting you seriously..." Kyo says, calmly, "...You might think you're pretty fast with that garbage, but my flames will catch you eventually." That smirk again. "Then we'll see."
Rebounding from her attack in a backflip, Cammy lands in a deep crouch before Kyo, a smirk of her own on her lips as she then leaps away, holding her arms out before herself with fingers splayed as she flies through the air, her pigtails fluttering before herself. "Naw. You're too slow!" she taunts, landing in a stand.
A stand that she only remains in for the briefest of moments, before she takes a step towards Kyo, and then throws herself into the air, feet first towards him. Slapping her arms over her chest, she begins to spiral quickly through the air as she flies towards her opponent, seeking to plant her feet into his gut. Oh, and there was more of that light blue energy, flaming around her feet.

Kyo blocks low, minimizing the damage those spinning, pyscho-powered feet his gut, though the different kind of energy stings a little more than usually, it's nothing he can't handle, "You're pretty confident huh?!" He tauntingly asks. While Cammy is still recovering from her Spiral Arrow technique, Kyo cocks back a fist, then throws it right at her, with his knuckles errupting with crimson flame right before they reach their target.

The scion of the flames finally strikes Cammy, "BODY GA...!" and with the girl reeling from his first punch, Kyo isn't going blow the opportunity to inflict more damage. His fist winds back up, then comes sailing back towards her, bending at the last moment to elbow her in the neck with another blast of flame, staggering her further and giving Kyo enough time to spin and lash out with a straight kick right to the gut. "-GARAKA DAZE!!!"
Kyo exhales, extinguishing the flame boiling over his right hand for now. That's more like it.
Cammy was reminded that arrogance was a fairly bad thing. One, two, three flaming attacks smack into the body of the once-Doll, the final kick sending her flying away from Kyo. There's a token effort to whirl herself around in midair, and land upon her feet or legs, but... that token effort wasn't enough, and she lands upon the ground in a heap of limbs. Okay, she wasn't quite smirking anymore, but she still seemed to be in fighting shape, as she begins to rise to her feet once again. "Feel better?" she quips.
Kyo smirks, "A little." Then it's off to the races again; he chases down the fallen Cammy and is right there in her face when she gets to her feet, trying to overwhelm the spritely fighter with a barrage of lightning quick jabs and hooks. None of the blows are too powerful individually, but if a couple land the damage inflicted could add up.

Cammy did do well, dodging the first few blows as she quickly backpedals away from the advancing fighter, ducking her head out of the way of one, hopping to the side for another... and she just loses her 'edge', so to speak. Punch after jab sneaks in through her guard, knocking the young fighter around... but she wasn't down. Not yet. And if she had anything to do with it, not ever. Hopping away from Kyo, she brings her foot up in a really fast, really quick snap up, hoping to catch the man in the chin, and stagger him enough to buy her enough time to think of something else.

Kyo does have to take a step back to steady himself as the kick cuts into his chin, but as he does so he has something of a surprise for Cammy in the form of a rapidly-formed ball of fire he generates in one palm and then tosses underhand at her even before that steadying foot hits the ground.

Cammy dealt well with surprises. As well as projectiles, it seemed. No sooner did her feet strike earth, did she kick up off of it again, barely dodging the fireball that streaks beneath the toes of her feet. Landing upon the ground in a deep, frog-like crouch some distance away, Cammy remains ducking and bent over, dropping one knee to the ground so that she was kneeling instead. She didn't attack, but her entire body seemed to be tensing, as if she were waiting for something...

"You think that against me, you can just sit and wait?!" Kyo asks derisively, apparently really irritated by this tactic of Cammy's. Again, Kyo brings the fight to the lithe female fighter, dashing right at her... only to skid to a halt just out of melee range, whereupon he pivots his whole body so that he's almost facing completely away from her while holding one arm out way behind his back, "Kore de..." Things get even stranger; a small circle of short flames appears on the ground around Kyo's feet, and his white jacket and hair start flapping every which way, as if being blown around by some kind of invisible power!
By the time Cammy realizes what's going on, it may be too late: "-KIMERU ZE!!!"
Kyo's entire body whirls around, and he brings that fist he was holding behind his back all the away around, almost 360 degrees, to put all his momentum, body weight, and power into one HUGE punch that could probably send a car flying a good couple of blocks. If the strength behind this technique, dubbed "Kusanagi-ryu Kobojutsu Style Number 182" by Kyo wasn't frightening enough, the attack ends with an absolutely massive explosion of crimson bloodline flame.

Well, Cammy wasn't quite sure that she could. Remaining crouching, Cammy then begins to launch herself up into the air... although the fist smashes right into the leaping girls gut, sending her flying away from Kyo at a... incredibly fast pace. The way the flames were licking about her didn't help. Fortunately or not, the trees were nearby. Cammy's body slams into one with a crack, the girl releasing a cry of pain as she then slumps towards the ground, the once-Doll nonetheless tumbling forward, and landing on her knees instead of her side or back. Still, she has to take a moment to recover from the attack, Cammy drawing a few heavy breaths... before she glances up towards Kyo, and with that glance, rises and begins to charge him in a single fluid movement.
Eyes narrow with concentration as she begins to draw power unto herself... and then she leaps forward, feet first towards Kyo, as gouts of blue flamish looking energy burst from her feet, surrounding her leg from the knee down with Psycho Power. "Spin driiiive..." The start would be similar to her spiral arrow attack, but if her feet find a home in Kyo's gut, she would spin three full times there, before she lashes out her right foot towards the ground to steady herself, dragging her left foot up Kyo's chest to impact him beneath the chin with a incredibly powerful kick. "SMASHER!"

Kyo stands, watching Cammy fly backwards into the trees. By the way she's slower this time to rise to her feet, it seems his earlier assumption was correct: he might not be able to lay a hand on her that often, but when he does, it's gonna hurt her, bad.
"Tch."
Kyo gets back in his ready stance as Cammy dashes at him, but again he's not completely prepared for the speedy fighter's unorthadox kicking techniques; the first part of the Spin Drive Smasher strikes him in the gut. However, the scion of the flames is saved from taking a more serious blow by finally getting his arms in position to fend off Cammy's spiralling right after the initial blow. Cammy cruises up in the air without sending Kyo up there with her, and from the ground Kyo slices both hands through the air, expelling surface-to-air missiles of flame.

Third time was the charm indeed. Although Cammy didn't quite leap up in the air the way one would expect, the flaming fireball did serve its purpose. Blast the hell out of her, and knock her away. The Pacific High student leaps up to her feet soon after... but with a gurgling 'ugh' sort of sound, sinks back down to one knee, breathing heavily. One would think that she was finished, but then one might see the way she lifts her head, eyes narrowing as they watch Kyo's every movement, or lack thereof. "LOCK ON!" she screams, then bursting up into the air with a jump that was threatening to crest the treeline of the surrounding forest...
And her legs again flame with the brilliant blue power she wielded, the girl sticking out a foot as the trajectory of her jump changes in a flash... to take her directly towards Kyo. If things went well, she would impact him in the legs, bowl him over... and then proceed to juggle him in the air with a rising, spiraling kick, before flipping around and delivering a hard kick to his belly, sending him earthward once again. But she wouldn't be standing anymore, upon her arrival on solid ground, hit or miss with her initial attack. Immeadiatly, she would simply collapse to one side, curling up into a small ball. Painful.

Kyo watches Cammy attempt to stand back up, and fail. "It's over, just-" he starts, before being cut off by Cammy's cry of "LOCK ON!" From there on forth Kyo gets taught a little bit about what speed REALLY means, getting hit all over the place by the barrage of kicks; on the ground, into the air, around in the air. It goes on for what seems to be awhile (at least to the Kusanagi heir). He hits the ground and skids on his back across the grass a few feet before settling.
"Whew!"
Kyo kippups to his feet and brushes some grass of him, then regards Cammy, balled up in the fetal position. "You started out really strong, and even with that cute look of yours, you really aim for the weak spots... huh?" Kyo looks down as his boot brushes up against something... weird feeling. Cammy's windbreaker. "Sorry..." he says, bending down to pick up the garment, "...but I've got a lot of experience fighting fast chicks like you who use 'that' kind of power." He lays the windbreaker loosely over her prone form, then shoves his hands in his jean pockets, and starts to walk to the edge of the clearing, towards the forest. Towards home.
