Description: In the main event for the week's SNF, Cammy and Benimaru fight it out. But when all looks lost for the model, can he pull off a win? (Winner: Benimaru)
The Howard Arena is bustling with excitement, the main event of the Saturday Night Fight tonight as usual draws the biggest crowd, the crowd that Benimaru Nikaido enjoyed being in the most. The announcer as usual works up the crowd with his usual one-liners and wise-cracks as people hollar and chant in their own excitement.
Announced first is Benimaru Nikaido, and it was impossible for him to even hide his pleased smile when he steps out to the center of the arena, waving a hand to the screaming fans and; actually not even gussied up for the event, simple white jeans and his leopard-print halter top. This was the kind of moment he lived for.
And then Cammy is announced, and not to Benimarus suprise the same energy given to the model is given to the Killer Bee, Benimaru looking over his shoulder in eager anticipation of seeing Cammy once more. He'd heard great news about her, and naturally wanted to see it with his own eyes.
The second week in a row that Cammy was going to be in the main event! Stuff like this can really do wonders for a girl's ego. But in any case, Benimaru did not have long to wait until Cammy arrives, her name announced not too long after Benimaru's. At that prompting, Cammy steps out towards the arena herself, she doesn't quite move to the center, but to the edge of the arena, the girl's curious gaze upon her opponent, Benimaru.
The screaming fans, the bright spotlights, the pumping music for the main event. It all was well and good, but it was making her nervous. The fact that Benimaru was watching her didn't quite help that matter! Still, Cammy smiles a brief smile towards him, the once-Doll lifting up her right hand to give him a thumbsup. As far as opponents went, he didn't look too... sturdy, but Cammy had been surprised by deceptive appearances before!
She knew the annoucer hadn't quite called out to start the fight yet, but still, Cammy assumes a defensive posture, bringing her fists up in front of herself, and fluidly shifting her weight from foot to foot, her smile fading to a more serious expression. She kept getting the feeling that she really ought to say something, too, but... she had no idea what to say. Blame the nervousness.
Well luckily for Cammy, it was a rare occassion in which Benimaru didn't have something of his own to say, hands slipping into his pockets and simply chuckling, looking genuinly pleased to the former-dolls thumbs up, "So it's true after all, you look great, Cammy White," he murmurs in his usual gentle tone, "It's been a while, but as always," a hand lifting from his pocket and a flick of his wrist produces a rose in his hold, kissing the red of the flower before tossing it in Cammys direction, landing just short of her feet if she doesn't catch it.
The reaction of course is mixed, many girls shrieking at how suave is, and others shrieking or immedietly boo'ing the pig-tailed woman.
".. Let's make this a beautiful fight, ne?" And then at that moment, the signal to start the fight is given, and the model draws his fists upward, taking a slightly backward slouch.

One would think that being recognized by someone that (in your memory), you had never met before would be unsettling, at the least. Cammy was quickly getting used to that feeling, however. Watching the flight of the incoming rose, Cammy blinks twice, falling out of her defensive posture to snatch it out of the air, the girl looking nothing but bewildered. "I..." she manages to say, before her attention goes to the crowd, and the screaming/booing/general wierdness of the female members of the audience.
With rose in hand, Cammy returns her attention back towards Benimaru, and cants her head to one side curiously, the girl then saying, "Well... I can try." With that said, Cammy turns her back towards Benimaru, marches to the edge of the arena, and sets the rose down on the edge of it. And as she straightens, she indraws a deep breath to steel herself, before turning back towards Benimaru, her muscular body tensing as she takes one... two... three steps in his direction. There she pauses as the announcer screams, "FIGHT!", her eyes observing every little movement of the shootfighter. "Good luck?" she says, although her tone was already rather distracted.

Benimaru did manage to cat some of that uncertainty, and it never occured to him that with all that had happened, Cammy may very well not remember who he was. But.. No, that was impossible, the model wasn't someone you could just /forget/, he's a walking, talking, historical event!
But his smile doesn't waver at all, amused by her reaction afterward, and of course waits more than patiently for her return. At least she accepted it, that was a good start, he thinks. His arms stretch outward to tighten his gloves when the match is announced, speed versus speed.
A little bit of drama is suddenly in the air within the shouting crowd that gradually dies down. Because nothing is happening yet, instead both fighters size each other up, (admittedly one may be admiring the others physique though..), waiting for the other to make the slightest sign of an opening, "Of course," he murmurs, baby-blue eyes narrowing, yet his stare suddenly very intense.

Cammy wasn't the fighter admiring the other's physique, as shocking as that revealation might be. But unfortunately, Benimaru, she just didn't know who you were at the moment. Sorry. Ahem. Moving on...
Cammy's own expression was serious. Dead serious, in fact. In spite of the fact that she wasn't quite sure Benimaru looked strong enough to give her a even fight, she wasn't going to go easy on the man. And so Cammy then moves. Lowering her torso closer to the ground, the student's body begins to tense further, giving the impression of a spring becoming tauter. That spring doesn't take to long to explode outwards, either.
In a instant, Cammy was heading directly towards Benimaru in a rapid run, the girl launching herself high into the air in a forward flip that travels above him when she gets close enough to the man. Inverting herself mid-air as she travels by him, Cammy reaches out her hands to try to grab the sides of the man's head... assuming he hasn't moved, or done something silly, the girl maintaining her grip there for as long as it takes to attempt to pull him off balance, her own body continuing to flip so she can land upon her feet at the completion of the manuever.

Ah, things were starting off so nicely already. For the moment Benimaru really wasn't too worried about Cammy having no memory of him- It was actually just a little more pressing that he win this match; doing so may actually keep him in the main event for a couple more weeks. So he was focused; while his expression was friendly, he was very focused. The air Cammy gets is admired, and he allows her to get the hold; but when the momentum sends him airborne, it doesn't end up being much more than a very quick flip as he slams on his feet again, ".. Very nice," he murmurs, mainly to himself as his right hand tightens into a fist, which then is thrown toward the womans gut, as it explodes with electrical energy moments before impact, "Raijin Ken!!"

Landing from her half-botched manuever on her feet, the girl rises her eyes towards Benimaru just in time for his little lightning show. Releasing a quick breath, Cammy bends her knees, and leaps up into the air, the energy-encased hand exploding harmlessly beneath her. And while she was in the air, she spins around once, her left leg tucked beneath herself as she extends her right leg. And on completion of that spin, her foot would hopefully smack into the side of the model's head as she completes her flying roundhouse kick.

Again Cammy shows off athleticism that only the most limber and quick-thinking fighter can do- So far, he can't tell much of a difference between this Cammy and the Doll he had fought in the past; but then again, why would there even be a shift in style? But his senses are just as sharp as hers right now, he crouching low so the kick sweeps right through his hair, right hand lowering, opposite grasping his wrist as a ball of electrical power forms within the palm. As soon as she lands, he loungest forward, looking to slam the orb into her gut and give her a brief electrical shock, hopping backward afterward.

How much of one's fighting style was learned, and how much was sheer instinct? In any event, as the student falls towards the ground after her whiffed kick. Cammy only had a instant to react to Benimaru's manuever, a instant she didn't quite work to her advantage. Scrabbling her feet on the ground, she goes wide-eyed and yelps as the electric energy courses through her, the girl falling down to a kneel soon afterward.
"Alright. You can do this." she reminds herself, running a gloved hand through the little lock of hair she kept combed over her face, before getting to her feet, and lunging forward towards Benimaru, kicking off of the ground and then twisting around in mid-air so that the bottoms of her feet faced the man. In spite of her misgivings, psycho power begins to blaze around Cammy's feet, but it wasn't the dark blue power of before... a lighter blue colour of sparking energy surrounds her feet, as she seeks to plant those very feet in Benimaru's gut.

Benimaru can't help but smile a little, catching wind of Cammys little self-inspiration.. Its not something he did much of himself, really. The model shifts a little in his stance, preparing to deliver a very quick knee in response to the spiraling kick.
The execution seems to be a little too slow though, the feet meeting its mark and Benimaru goes staggering and then falling onto his back. For a the moment, it seems he's stunned long enough for Cammy to get a second shot.
With her feet planted in Benimaru's gut, Cammy's twisting kick, and energy stop, the girl backflipping off of Benimaru to land upon her feet a short distance away from him, the girl landing in a deep crouch that she quickly rises from, her fists raising before herself again.
That moment that Benimaru was stunned, Cammy was going to captialize upon as well. Taking a long step forward, Cammy brings up one of her feet to deliver a sharp kick to the side of Benimaru's knee to stun him for just a moment further, the girl then dropping that foot... assuming she gets that far, and reaching out her hands to deliver a open-handed push to both of Benimaru's shoulders, hopefully knocking him backwards and away from herself.

Benimaru for the moment is at Cammys mercy, but when when he does gather his wits again, its only because of the shot to his knee connects. His eyes snap open, and he leaps up into the air to keep from getting grabbed afterward.
In mid-air though, he twists around and performs an attack much similar to the spiral arrow, only it's shooting from the air, a strong huff of air passing his lips as he extends his heel.

If there was one thing Cammy was exceptionally good at, it was dodging. A skill that she displays rather vividly as Benimaru streaks down towards her, the girl hopping to one side, before quickly slipping behind Benimaru, and falling into a crouch. A crouch that Cammy would explode upwards from, inverting herself midair, pulling her left leg out of the way as she extends her rightmost leg, a small puff of light bluish flame encasing her foot.
A light bluish flame that grows whiter and whiter in the few seconds it takes for Cammy's kick to travel towards the back of Benimaru's head... (or his chin, should he turn around in time.), and on the moment of impact, it seems to... explode. It wasn't quite a dramatic explosion of energy, just a 'puff' of whitish energy. That little loss of control of her psycho power would put just a little more psi into the kick... but it would also drain Cammy quite a bit more than the kick usually would.

Benimaru turned around, but he wouldn't exactly call it 'in time'. It'd be bad timing on his part, he doesn't see the kick coming until the last minute, and isn't able to react in time- a grunt upon impact is given and he's lifted upward, holding his chin with one hand, the other planting on the ground as he shift to keep from landing flat on his back again.
She was good.. Really good, and it was just a tad frustrating for the shoot fighter. There's just a moments pause, and he comes back with kicks of his own, hopping forward and spinning to deliver a roundhouse kick to the girls shoulder, followed by a sobat kick to the gut. and finally a backflip kick to complete the combination, a bolt of lightning snapping upward where his feet last touched the ground, "Hyah!"

Well, Cammy would feel guilty later about causing the shootfight undue amounts of frustration. In fact, she was feeling vaguely guilty now when she ducks her head beneath the roundhouse, hops away from the sobat, and hops away a third time to avoid the bolt of lightning.
Two rapid breaths, and Cammy glances over towards Benimaru once again, the girl beginning to backstep away from her opponent as she remains quiet, a determined look quickly replacing the concern that had seeped into her expression. "Impressive lightning." Cammy says quietly, before sucking her lower lip into her mouth and biting down upon it, as her brow furrows in concentration.

She was a quick one all right, the models moves certainly looked nice, so the compliment that's sent his way is responded with a light smile, "Ah, thank you," he replies, he brushes off his shoulders, takes a light breath and once he gets his bearings again, he points to the other blonde, "Lets try this again, shall we?"
He was going to have to try to put the pressure on the girl again, and he resorts to a tactic Cammy may (or actually probably won't) remember. He suddenly sprints to the side, and starts racing in circles about the woman, showing off a little speed of his own.

No, she didn't quite remember that tactic. And my, Benimaru was fast when he needed to be. Still, Cammy liked to believe she was good at timing things, so why not give things the good old college try. Waiting for the right... wait.... waaaaait...
And at the right moment, Cammy lunges forward into Benimaru's path, arms open wide as if she wanted to give the man a hug. And if he should run right into her, she would. Attempting to throw her arms around the man's waist, she would then yank Benimaru up off of his feet if she gets a good grip there, bringing him over her head to suplex the man into the arena floor behind her.

It seems it would be Cammys lucky day, the young woman does get in his path which isn't his initial concern- rather it's when he's actually captured, and rather than be able to slip free, the momentum instead sends him crashing onto the ground, the crowd giving a rather pained 'ooooh!' as he literally folds over and then flumps onto his stomach. He was definatly going to feel that one in the morning, the model groaning as he gives a light shake of his head.
This most certainly was not his evening. But while he was starting to get tired, he was certain that he wasn't out of it just yet. The model stays low as he rushes and slides forward. his hand then hefting his weight upward to helicopter his body at Cammys legs, swirling around quickly enough to hopefully nail her three times before she even hits the ground, "Shinkuu Katategoma!!!"

Cammy could only imagine that many of the young women in the audience were currently doing terrible things to pictures of her at this moment. But in any event... pulling herself up from the bridge she had put herself in to perform the manuever on Benimaru, Cammy spins about, just in time to see Benimaru begin his whirling motion. Three times she was hit, sending the body of the young woman away from Benimaru, to land flat upon her back some distance away.
Cammy was starting to get tired and beat up herself, but... she had plenty of fight left in her still. Kip-upping to her feet, Cammy bounces her weight from foot to foot, waiting for Benimaru to rise... and when he does, Cammy would move, dashing forward towards the man and then lifting up her foot to attempt to deliver a sabot-like kick to Benimaru's gut.

A simple kick.. Benimaru had to hand it to Cammy, she really did like to mix things up between regular attacks and her flashier ones; in fact it was really admirable.
At the moment though, it wasn't part of Benimarus arsenal at all. His eyes narrowed, his body starts to crackle with electricity, and the model crosses his arms in front of him with a light growl, and rushes forward to meet Cammys kick with a counter-attack of his own. The sobat-kick slams into his gut and the model lurches foward, arm swinging at nothing and he drops to his knees with a weak groan, again unintentionally leaving himself open for another attack.
In this case, Cammy was mimicking the kick she had just seen Benimaru do in his three-kick combo. And this time, Cammy was going to captialize on the opening in Benimaru's defense. Or at least try to. Dashing forward towards Benimaru, Cammy then bends her knees before launching herself into the air, the young psion jabs a open hand out in front of herself, that hand hoping to strike Benimaru's throat or neck. And if that wasn't painful enough, the model would have to deal with Cammy's body slamming into him soon after, and hopefully knocking him off of his feet before she lands, and hops away from the man with a series of small hops.

Apparently it doesn't take long (again) for Benimaru to pull himself togeather, he only has a second, or perhaps half of one to react to Cammy racing toward him-
And half a second is all he needs in this circumstance. The strike toward his neck is just barely evaded, hands slapping at her stomach as he hops back as sort of an assist for her to hop back. He falls onto his back and immedietly kip-ups, tumbles forward and with another yell goes for the multiple sweep, legs kicking out in front of him as he spins thrice, "Shinkuu KATATEGOMA!"

Cammy was good at thinking on her feet. Well, she thought she was. Benimaru's deft evasion, as well as the slap to her belly were all taken in account for, and when Benimaru repeats the move from before... Cammy falls down to one knee, clenches her hand into a fist, and proceeds to put her arm in the way of the kick, her body tensing to help her absorb the blow...
...except there was a bit too much force to easily absorb. Her arm is blown out of the way, leaving Cammy's guard open for that kick, as well as the two following kicks, the ex-Doll spilling spectacularly over Benimaru's leg, and laying there, dazed, for just a moment. Just one moment, mind, before she groggily begins to get back to her feet, leaving herself open for another attack.
Benimaru, on the other hand found this really... Really unusual. Clearly the idea of Cammy dealing with most of his attacks unscathed and to suddenly get hit with his strongest attacks is confusing- But he was taught never to look a gift horse in the mouth.
He's thinking of Cammy laying on his leg, not that his spinning kick had met his mark. And that brings a bit of an exasperated chuckle from the young mans lips, bringing his spirits up again- Not that giving up was even remotely in his mind. He decides to press his luck, at the risk of boring his fans with the same technique, he decides why the hell not.
And so when she's on her feet, he's still crouched, and with a light shrug slaps his hand on the ground to sweep at her three more times, "Shinkuu Katategoma!!!"

Cammy would agree. Benimaru wouldn't be the only one to find that odd. Unfortunately for the model, the third time was not the charm in this case. Hopping away from the spinning man, Cammy waits for the technique to finish it's whirling before she takes a single step forward, and hops towards Benimaru in a forward flip. She was hoping to land upon the model's shoulders, a thigh on each shoulder, before she squeezes her thighs shut, and flings herself backwards, crossing her arms over her chest. If things went well, she would yank Benimaru off of his feet, to smack the top of his head against the arena floor once more.

Almost, Cammy, almost. Were it earlier into the match Benimaru might have even considered taking on the fan-favorite Frankensteiner, but he couldn't afford to even think about it this time around. He does screech to a halt after his third spin, and simply just rolls forward, letting Cammy stamp down on the ground.
Perhaps not to Cammys suprise, the sweeping kicks follow up yet again-
And this time it's getting a negative reaction from the crowd, as opposed to the lighter cheering of his signature move before, a few 'boos' thrown into the yelling at the model.

Whether or not the man was boo'ed, there was no denying how strangely effective that manuever was. And the startup to the move was so... predictable. So instead of trying to block the powerful technique this time, Cammy steels herself, preparing to hop over the kick and deliver one of her own to Benimaru... just to have the first kick slap into her legs, the next two slamming into her, and knocking her unto her side on the arena floor. Now the stress of the fight was starting to get to her. Slowly, she raises herself unto her feet again, the girl obviously groggy, as she takes a few moments to stagger one way, and then the other. This, of course, left her open for another move of Benimaru's.
Benimaru was clearly much more skilled than he had expected when it came to the now trusty kick, panting heavily he sizes up Cammy again and.. She looks to be on her last legs here, much like himself.
Effective. Very oddly effective, but if his calculations were right, he wouldn't have to take any more chances like that. With Cammy again wide open after the spinning assault, the hand not propping him up forms the small orb of electricity again, and as soon as he does it starts to flicker between life and dullness quickly.
'Damn,' he thought, this one really needed to go through. And so he rushes forward again, the armed hand rushing forward to once again give Cammy the electrical shock that he suspects should put her down for the count, another grunt passing his lips.

"Hrrrk!" That was the sound of the wide-eyed Cammy being electrocuted at the moment. The young woman slumps down to one knee soon after the shock, and with the way she was beginning to droop over her knee, one may think that she was completely out. Well, one would be wrong, because Cammy soon whirls around, lashing out one of her feet towards the side of Benimaru's leg, hoping to trip the man before she slumps to the ground. And to curl up into a ball, and await the arrival of the medical team. She wasn't quite sure she was fond of being electrocuted.

Benimaru looked apologetic as soon as the strike lands, it may not have looked obvious to the spectators, but he was moving a bit more out of desperacy rather than strategically, and may have gone a little overkill.
His guard was still up though, and when Cammy goes for the low kick, he crouches and smacks his fist onto the ground, sparks jumping from the impact of the kick to his forearm.
He's not fast enough to catch the woman when she falls afterward though, the model looking like he'll be ready to topple over any minute himself. He's unsure how but he just barely managed to scrape a win here, as the announcer calls it when the model stands up again and Cammy does not.
The crowd seems to be very forgiving at this point, roaring and screaming in approval, apparently deciding that this was all part of the plan to build up for a fairly dramatic end- But despite the victory, Benimaru looked distraut, yelling impatiently for the medical team to arrive.
