"Evening, sports fans! I'm your Host, Shay German, and this is Saturday Night Fight, LIVE!"
Sitting at an improptu booth behind some protective shrine rubble, the short, fat, and generally unappealing fight correspondant peers towards the teleprompter set up in the area. "Tonight, it looks like we're in for a real crowd pleaser. That's right. Four absolutely incongruous people are going to try and beat the tar out of one another for /your/ purile, debased amusment." He's smiling wide, but the annoucner's voice absolutely drips with sarcasm.
"On the red team! A man who lets his girlfriend dress him... Yashiro! His hobbies include playing in a band, and working out to an almost obscene level! Also on the red team, local high school student who should probably be at him studying and not getting fed knuckle sandwiches, Megumi!"
Shay getures over to the other side of the shrine as work crews finish the area prep and the cameras fire up to full. "And in the Blue Corner, the Sweetheart of Slash, the Maiden of Mayhem, the Girl voted Most Likely to Garrote her prom date, Leona! Also in the blue corner, a man that most likely stole my car yesterday, Yamazaki!"
"The rules are simple, folks, It's a knock down, drop dead figh to the finish, with no holds barred! Get ready, because the paramedics will be here toniht, so drink it up you miserable fight cretins! Because free bread and circuses is alive and well!" Shay grins, until the boradcast cameras go dark, and he snorts, tossing the mike away. "I hate this job."
Yashiro shoots the fight announcer a dirty look as his spiel goes on, but manages to rein in his temper for the moment. Not a good idea to go around thrashing the SNF staff, after all, even if he would like to makes his feelings on the clothing comments painfully clear.
Besides, there's bigger things on his mind right now. When it was just his bandmates and Iori, Yashiro was quite curious as to what the strong feeling he could sense from them was. But now, it seems that every week he rurns into somebody else who gives off the same vibe. In this particular instance, both of his opponents are giving off a similar feeling, despite the numerous other differences between the two. Being a relatively uncomplicated person however, Yashiro is quite willing to settle this by just smashing them into the ground. He watches them for a while, then turns to Megumi with a grin. "Heh. Glad we're on the same side, this time. Won't have to run all over the place trying to hit you."

Megumi also looked kind of annoyed at the commentator...at first. When she realizes he's insulting everyone equally, Megumi eases up and steps in behind Yashiro and off to his side a little. "Hey, all I can say is I'm not like him. I won't use you as a weapon. Gonna do what I can to help you out, alright?" She's shifting her feet and raising her arms in front of her, taking up that typical Aikido stance that she always abandons the second the fight begins...she's fairly tense about this, in contrast to Yashiro's easier mood.
If anyone wasn't bothered by the announcers comments it would be Leona. As of right now there were other things on her mind and a few jabs made at her by a television personality are the least of her worries. She feels more tense than normal as she prepares for this fight. That feeling of uneasiness she has experienced around only two other people seems to be creeping up on her again. She tries to keep herself focused and relaxed though as she steps up when announced. She just eyes her opponents to size them up as she pulls the dogtags from around her neck and uses them to tie up the mass of hair into a ponytail to keep it out of her face for the duration of the fight. She lowers her hands and gets prepared for the things to begin, taking the moment to decide which person she will be attacking first and to also see what her team mate is going to do.

A big, happy, unpleasantly vicious smile is already on Yamazaki's face as he bides his time. The existance of a full blood and mongrel half-breed of Orochi affects him completely. While his blood isn't boiling, it's definately simmering at a healthy temeprature, and the man's broad chest is already rising and falling with heavy breaths in anticipation.
Still, beneath the beast is a being of an analytical predatory nature. He flicks a glance at Leona. He hasn't talked to her since being forced to join her team. The fact that he's facing these people down, working with this odd woman is of some consolation, but not all. He's not here for these miserable kids. Although...
He eyes Yashiro, and nods contemptuously at the man. Perhaps this one can provide answers when they're through. If he can't.. well, he can break open the boy's skull and see for himself. Still, he stays his hand as well. He's uncertain as to the otehr team's power, so he bides his time, staying firmly on the defensive.

Yashiro eyes Leona and Yamazaki for a moment. He's well aware that looks can be deceiving, but Yamazaki certainly appears to be the greater threat, and quite possibly more fun to pummel mercilessly. With that in mind he begins walking toward the gangster, rolling his shoulders and cracking his neck a couple times as he approaches. He's apparently leaving Megumi up to her own devices, as right now he's just looking to enjoy this.
His casual stride toward Yamazaki makes it fairly obvious that he's coming, but he does try to make things at least a little tricky. Once he gets about three quarters of the way to his target, he suddenly picks up speed, running a few more feet before suddenly hopping forward, one foot extended in a kick aimed at Yamazaki's gut.
"Hey, wait..." Megumi starts to protest as Yashiro goes on ahead. Well, on second thought him running off like that isn't a big problem. She gives Yamazaki a quick look, and decides she really doesn't like what she sees. So her attention moves to Leona. And once Leona's finished preparing her hair?
Megumi's hands go together in front of her, sparkling red energy taking the shape of a large sphere. It sticks to her right hand, which pulls back and then throws it at Leona. Megumi's keeping her distance for now.

The mercenary only gives Yamazaki a slight nod in recognition when he looks her way. Much like him she wasn't really looking forward to this team up, but she is a professional and will deal with it. Her attention shifts back to her opponents just in time to see Megumi toss the ball of the Ikari's way. She just smirks slightly and she moves quickly on her feet to spin on her right heel and avoid Megumi's attack easily. She reaches up to pull off one of her earrings while keeping an eye on the other woman in case she tries anything else and then once removed she slings the earring right at Megumi. Be it girl or floor, that earring explodes on impact.

What could this little punk be possibly thinking stepping up to him? Besides, he wanted to save Yashiro for sometime later. Still, the other Orochi just grins as the other man starts to charge at him. Whatever. He can deal with this one just the same. But the second he sees an opening...
Yamazaki leans down, just shaking his head. He's a little too slow though, and is unable to brace himself properly in time, so the foot connects firmly with his face, cracking across his jawline, and sending him back, reeling. Still a little stiff from his previous battles, he's just not very quick today. Yamazaki chuckles, rubbing the heavy bruise starting to from across his chin. "Nice kid. Real nice. Maybe I'll actually have to rip you a new one earlier than I thought."
Yashiro smirks at Yamazaki, giving a chuckle of his own as he watches the other Orochi stagger back for a moment. "Oh? Should I hold back, then, and give you a chance? If I'm taking things too fast for you, I'm sure we could lower it down to your level..." As he finishes speaking, Yashiro lunges out with his left hand to grab Yamazaki's right arm. If he manages to snare the older man, he follows it up with an upward arcing punch to the stomach, aimed at lifting the gangster right off his feet.

"What in the world..." Megumi's not really familiar with Leona's unusual arsenal. She sidesteps the earring part just fine, and it lands off beside her. Then the thing explodes, knocking her off her feet and sending her to the ground face-first. "Ow! ...That's...new." Getting up to one knee, Megumi thrusts her right palm forward and sends her own tiny ball at Leona; larger than an earring, certainly. But still small, and bright red. It flies towards Leona, then explodes in mid-air near her. Megumi's back on her feet by now, giving a quick look over to Yamazaki and Yashiro before returning her attention to Leona.

Though the fans might like the little throwing match the pair of women are having, Leona seems unamused that she is being held at a distance. She dives to the side to land in a roll to avoid Megumi's next attack and sits up on one knee for a moment. She then kips back up onto her feet and then charges in....towards Yashiro. Yes he is now the closer of the two and though she is a professional, Leona will take a chance on hitting someone when their back is to her. She grasps for Yashiro's hair and then if she manages to get a firm grip she tries to pull the man away from Yamazaki and use her momentum in the swing to drive the man head first into the ground to spike it like a football.

Yashiro gets a massive smile as his hand is grabbed by his fellow Orochi. A big one. A big, unhealthy one. Eyes wide, Yamazaki twist his held arm rapidly, using the other man's heavy mass as a brace. A chuckle is already hissing from his lips, and he's just shy of going completely berserk.
"You're fulla shit, punk," he says dangerously, rearing back a fist. The hand crackles with swirling energy, and he looks straight into Yashiro's eyes, deranged, bloodshot gaze locking with Yashiro's smug, cool one. "I'll just ahve to BEAT IT ALL OUT OF YOU!" His voice raises two octaves as he screams, an insane, blood-curdling sound as the power in his fist whirls to a point, and slams straight into Yashiro's lower gut.

As Yamazaki's charged fist slams into Yashiro, he staggers backwards, right into Leona's grasp. His hair isn't really long enough for her to get a great grip, but he's already off balance enough that she's able to take him the rest of the way down, slamming his head against the stone path leading up to the shrine.
Yashiro stays on the ground for a moment, but before long he's sitting up, giving his head a quick shake. Apparently he's got a hard enough skull that he wasn't too badly injured. He doesn't turn around to face Leona, although he's certainly aware of her presence. But turning would just leave him open to yet another attack. He smirks at Yamazaki as he rises to one knee, although the look in his eyes is rather more menacing than it was previously. "Bring it on, old man!" He leaps to his feet and towards Yamazaki, attempting to slam his fist into the gangster's stomach, then immediately kicks off the ground again, jumping up to slam an uppercut into Yamazaki's jaw, intending to send him sailing.

Megumi is left alone...that's good, she figures. Leona's going after Yashiro too...not so good. Megumi considers rushing in to join the three-person-brawl, but decides against it. Instead, she calls out "Yashiro, use this!", then spreads her arms wide apart. A thin, red 'wall' of energy springs into existence, and flies towards him. She may not be jumping into the fight headlong, but she is aware of how two-on-one is going to go for him, so she's helping out.
Leona has to give Yashiro credit where it is given. Her attempt to draw his attention away from Yamazaki failed, but this doesn't change her plan of attack. She only glances over her shoulder to Megumi who apparently isn't tossing something the Ikari's way this time around. If that is the case Leona is left with no worries on being on the defensive and instead she just attacks Yashiro from behind again. She raises her arms as if she is about to block something then quickly slings them downwards, causing a X shaped wave of chi to be slung at the musician's backside.
Leona gets a wink from Yamazaki as she intervenes. He feels no less of a fighter having her help. Rather, the slip of a girl adding to the carnage laid upon Yashiro only makes the snarling smile wider. Something about watchign Yashiro slam facefirst into the ground causes him to laugh, his hsoulders shaking with amusement.
As Yashiro tries to send him into the upper stratosphere, he tilts his head to one side, eyes sparking as his tongue lolls from his mouth. He seems to be amused by the brashness of the youngster, as as the fist comes rising up, Yamazaki slams his forearm into it, batting the blow away and stepping back to brace. The impact of the powerful band player's blow courses through the limb, and Yamazaki lets out a barking laugh. "I FELT that!"
And without further warning, the gangster leans back, and then swings his arm forwards. The limb flails limply for a moment, before suddenly reaching astonishing speeds and length as Yamazaki snaps out a snake tamer to Yashiro's head.

Yashiro turns his head slightly to look Megumi's way as she calls out, eyes widening a bit as he sees the energy wall rushing towards him. He doesn't have a chance to do anything about it, but that seems to not be a problem, as it washes over him and suddenly the blows he just took don't seem to hurt quite as much.
He starts back toward Yamazaki again, pulling back his fist for another blow, but just then he feels the hairs on the back of his neck rise up. Already moving toward Yamazaki, there's not much he can do as the energy blast slams into him from behind, sending him staggering forward. This completely throws off the attack he was planning on launching at Yamazaki, and also causes him to stumble directly into the Snake Tamer. With a long series of muffled curses the Orochi musican then staggers back a bit from both fighters, arms up in a general defensive position while he tries to get his equilibrium back.
Megumi winces as Yashiro continues to be ganged up on, moreso when his defense fails so utterly. "Aggh, come on, get something going..." She's frustrated, and she's not even on the receiving end of the beating. She spreads her arms apart to create another wide, thin energy-wall and sends it out towards Yashiro. Part of her wants to rush in and help him out more directly, but if he keeps getting pounded like this without her current efforts... it's going to turn into another kind of 2 on 1 entirely. One Megumi will dislike even more.
Leona just lets a slight smirk come across her features when she notices Yamazaki's little wink. It at least makes it easier to continue this two on one when both fighters are willing to work together and with Megumi just standing back and trying to keep her team mate alive allows the Ikari to just keep assaulting Yashiro. She doesn't give the man much time to breath and she steps towards him while thrusting both hands forward. She gathers a greenish colored ball of chi that crackles a moment before it spikes outwards and attempts to impale Yashiro.
His jaw unhinging like a snake's, Yamazaki can't help but let out a completely deranged, mocking hoot of delight as Yashiro takes a severe pounding, the gangster's Orochi-powered fist bashing into the man like a wet sandbag.
While Megumi's interference is mildly annoying, he feels less concerned about it than perhaps he should. Maybe because Yashiro's performace is so poor, he feels like it's only prolonging the other Orochi's suffering. Either way, as Leona tries to impale Yashiro from the side, the gangster steps forwards, and reaches towards Yashiro' slittle heart choker. If successful, the insane assassin will headbutt the man, sending him backwards with a deafening explosion.

This time Yashiro doesn't worry about Megumi's energy wall at all, letting it wash over him. He's grateful for the help, not that he'd actually admit that it's really starting to hurt having both Leona and Yamazaki beating on him. And then he gets hit from behind again by Leona's attack, the energy spike jabbing painfully into his back. He doesn't stagger forward this time though, and seeing Yamazaki's head coming toward his own, he brings up his hand, catching the gangster's head before it can impact with his skull. He wasn't counting on the explosion however, and the palm of his hand isn't quite enough to block all of that energy.
Bleeding from a nasty wound on his back, and from several places on his face after Yamazaki's explosion, Yashiro is pissed. The external expression of his mood becomes apparent as a low growl rises in his throat, and a low rumbling sound begins to fill the area. The stones of the pathway under his feet begin to shatter, large cracks spreading out from beneath the Orochi's feet. And now he does turn away from Yamazaki, his right fist clenched tightly, his arm tensed so tightly that it trembles as he glares at Leona. He's tired of being attacked from two fronts, and Leona's last attack was the last straw. With a growl he lunges toward her, fist flying towards her face so quickly that it's difficult to even see it cross the intervening space.
Megumi continues to stay back from the fight, serving as support. But she's not going to just keep pumping energy into Yashiro nonstop...that'll only serve to delay a defeat if she keeps doing it. Time to go back on the attack. As Yashiro makes his attempt to strike Leona, Megumi brings her hands back together and forms...more bright red energy in the shape of a large ball. It sticks to one hand, she pulls it back, and tosses it at Leona.

The strike from the musician hits the jaw of the Ikari firmly when he strikes about the same time that ball of energy from Megumi hits her as well. The mercenary is made of sterner stuff and even though the two hits hit her soundly she remains standing, albeit a bit dazed. She takes a few deep breathes and just looks at Yashiro and growls as she swings out a leg to take his feet out from under him and if successfuly it chains into the Ikari assaulting him with a series of kicks that knock him into the air before she just slaps him on the back and hits him with a large burst of chi that propels her back to the ground where she lands in a crouch.
While normally Yamazaki wouldn't care about the welfare of others, the fact that Leona is getting blown sky high left and right doesn't really make him entirely too pleased. This is mostly because losing isn't going to help him continue his search, especially since you can't ivnestigate while unconcious.
Still, the savage attacks laid upon Leona only lessen his smile slightly. The beatings only serve to heighten his excitement as the half-Orochi's injuries heighten his bloodlust. As he watches Leona's approaching attack, the massive gangster leaps in with a jarring shriek, drool streaming from his open mouth as he attempt to make sure the assault connects by landing a hammerblow on the back of Yashiro's neck, hopefully to give Leona the opening she needs.

Yashiro leaps over Leona's attempt at a leg sweep, but that leaves him trying to turn around in mid-air as Yamazaki comes running up behind him. The gangster's fist slams into his neck, sending him flying into the next part of Leona's attack. He's knocked back up into the air by her kicks, before being slammed back down again, the large chi blast following him down to the ground. When the explosion fades away Yashiro is face down on the ground, and it doesn't look like he'll be getting up again anytime in the next few moments.
Megumi watches Yashiro go down, and takes a quick scan of the situation. Leona seems....okay. Yamazaki seems quite well, physically speaking. His mental state is up for debate. "Yeah...I can see where this is going." Looking over to a camera, she shakes her head. "I concede." And with that, she begins to walk away. Obviously a forfeit loss, but she figures that's better than being on the receiving end of yet another pounding.

Leona stays crouched for a moment ready to leap up and start her attack against Megumi. She just raises a brow when she hears the girl concede and slowly stands up. She smirks again and reaches out to untie her hair and put the dogtags back around her neck. "So much for a challenge." she says and rubs her chin lightly where she was hit by Yashiro. She turns look back to Yamazaki and then faintly nods to him. "Can't say it has been a pleasure, but good job." She is only mildly relieved by the fight ending early for the fact that she can collect her prize money and put some distance between herself and the Syndicate thug.

Yashiro goes down like a sack of concrete, and Megumi bows out. Only one of those two things matter to the raving lunatic gangster, and he lets out a peal of cackling laughter, his hand already reaching for Yashiro's neck. A shark's grin greets the younger man as Yamazaki tries to not-so-gently slap the man awake.
"Wake up, dog! I got questions, and you got answers!" With a snap, a machete clicks into existance, and Yamazaki brandishes the weapon, ready to stab if the man doesn't awake before his frustration level blows.
Despite his rather unfortunate showing in tonight's fight, Yashiro is made of fairly sturdy stuff. It doesn't take much to bring him around. And when he sees Yamazaki looming over him, his first reaction is trying to get up, so he can wrap his hands around the gangster's throat and throttle him. Unfortunately, he's still a bit too worn out from getting beaten down to follow through on that, as is evidenced by his falling back down the moment he tries to lift himself up. And so he settles for just glaring up at Yamazaki.
"That's right. Wakey wakey," growls the man, wiping his mouth with th back of his hand. Despite this, strands of spittle still drip onto Yashiro's face inadverdandly. Orochi degenerate indeed. The man's oversized knife isn't at Yashir's throat yet, but it could be farily quickly, and Yamazaki makes that known, his brown eyes glaring right back with a reddish, bloodshot tint.
"You're kinda like 'them'... but not," oh sure, Can he be more specific? "You don't make me half as pissed, and I'm in a good mood, seeing as your baby partner had to go change her diapers and left you ass-dead on the ground like a garbage bag."
"Still, you smell pretty damn close. I'm looking for two girls. Tall. One blonde, one redhead. You know anything about that, you miserable puke?"
Yashiro doesn't even look at the knife, still glaring straight up at Yamazaki. His face does twist up a bit at the falling spittle, his fingers digging deep furrows in the ground. The fact is, he'd be pretty pissed off at Yamazaki even under normal circumstances, which is quite understandable, but that Orochi feeling serves to force it along even further. "Now how the /HELL/ am I supposed to know who you're talking about?"
Yashiro's not stupid, and he's not going to spill any more Orochi related information than he has to, particularly when he doesn't even understand it himself. Although it is interesting that Yamazaki apparently has a sense similar to his. Of course, he's got a pretty good idea of who Yamazak's looking for. "There was a tall blonde bitch that was my partner fighting that Ryu guy, but I don't know anything else about her. And if you think I'm gonna sit here and take this from you..." And now he starts trying to get back up. Injured or not, he's still an extremely strong man, and he doesn't seem to care much about Yamazaki's knife.
Pfeh. The insolence of youth. Once upon a time, you could threaten a kid, and he'd crap his pants and spill the beans instantly. Nowadays, everyone thinks they'll live forever and everyone thinks they're the proud owners of armor plated cajones. "Shut up," Yamzaki says as he stands to his full height, and without further word, kicks Yashiro's face. It's hardly full force, but more of a supreme taunt as a flurry of dust comes up with it.
"Don't help. See if I give a flying rat's ass. But after I find them and finish with them, I'm coming after you, you greasy twerp. And then I'm gonna carve up anyone that you love, and make 'em die, slow and bleeding," the flat statement hangs in the air. Likely, it's a hollow threat, but when you're dealing with a supreme wahck-job liek Yamazaki, who's to say? The knife clutched in his unpocketed hand snaps back into the hilt as Yamazaki stalks off. He does know one thing now. Mature seems to be a unifying factor. Therefore, Mature will have to be 'taled' to.
The kick hardly seems to bother Yashiro at all, even if it does draw some blood from his nose. The dust getting into his eyes is another matter however, and he lets out a string of profanities as Yamazaki walks away. After a moment he sits up and begins rubbing at his eyes, eventually managing to clear up his vision again. Pulling himself to his feet he begins stalking off from the area, rather roughly shoving away a member of the medical staff who comes to check up on him.
