Match of the Millennium

Description: In this Neo League match-up, Geese Howard takes on Abigail.

[ABIGAIL]
"Geese? Y'all signed me up to fight some birds??"

Abigail looks on at the fight schedule in confusion shortly after pulling up to the familiar sight of Howard Arena. It takes him a minute after promoters stare at him like he's lost his mind. Again. Then it clicks. He knows damn well who Geese is and has the graciousness to at least look embaressed. Briefly.

"Ohhh..oh yeah! Yeah, I know this guy! He's a good guy! Good engine."

They -really- stare now.

"Yeah..yeah." pause and then Abigail frowns as if -really- remembering now, "..He kicked my ass. Aw, dammit! Tth. Alright fine. I got some new moves since World Warrior!"

He doesn't. He's just ..impossibly so..bigger and stronger. Will that be enough? Never let it be said that the freakish giant is not up for a fight and ready to make a good showing. He's got engine horse power to spare!

And so he makes his way into Howard Arena and heads towards the center mat and the wide area around it that's been cleared to give room to the combatants for any potential damages. Make that inevitable. This is Abigail. His very steps are seeming to rumble the ground from the sheer pressure of his strength. He's not called The Superhuman Hot-Rodder for nothing!

[GEESE]
When Abigail steps into the ring properly, the audience present cheers widly becasuse they just -know- they will be entertained! Not to mention that Abigail truly is fucking massive, a true paragon amongst bodybuilding afficianados everywhere. The freakishly built giant is then announced by a man in a suit as he reads his name from the card, which only proves to earn a much larger applause.

Irregardless of the blank looks sent his way from the promoters, who still appear somewhat dumbfounded.

But then, its announced who is in the red corner.

Dressed in red hakama and a white gi, with white handwraps worn up to the knuckles of the fingers, the announcer calls out. "GEEEEEEEESE HOOOWWAAAAARRRDD!!"

and the arena seems to explode as the blonde-haired warrior steps into the ring, calmly as he steps forward to see Abigail. "Abigail. I see you've gotten somewhat larger since last we met. I truly hope you've improved, so you can offer me a far better challenge than before."

That was Geese's strategy. Talk trash, get his opponent angry. Anger means mistakes. But otherwise, this show is about to get on the road very quickly.

[ABIGAIL]
The freakish colossus leans back and looks over the arena as it explodes into applauds and cheers and roars at the name of Geese Howard. Hn. Home field advantage..

And despite his reputation for hot blooded rampages, interestingly enough..Abigail doesn't get angry at the taunt from Geese! He lost that first fight fair and square but also isn't to bad himself when trash talking and some sarcastic wit is concerned being an (adopted) son of Metro City and a former Mad Gear chief.

He gives the Southtown kingpin finger gun gestures with both of his massive hands. "I whupped on yer ass enough to for you to try and hire me on the spot, 'Goose' so I'd say I'm pretty entertaining...."

With that he jumps, vaulting up and -over- the edge of the ring to land thunderously in his corner with the entire area shaking from the impact of his weight. He straightens up and slams his two fists together, colliding his knuckles and fingers into one another with force usually associated with demolition machinery. "Lemme show you how much horsepower I've added! VROOOOM!!!"

COMBATSYS: Abigail has started a fight here.

Geese seems to chuckle a little bit as he looks up at the towering behemoth. "You gave me a few scratches, that's true. Maybe this time you'll get lucky and defeat me, but I imagine your odds are -very- low." Geese then goes to his corner and remains standing upright, even when Abigail thunders into his corner.

Then there's this poor referee.

He gets into the middle of the ring, and he points at both men to ask if they're ready, and Geese simply nods. At the agreement of Abigail with his horsepower comment, the Referree brings his hand down to say 'fight' and then he gets the hell out of the ring.

Geese, in reaction, charges Abigail immediately, attempting to go for the throat so to speak with a grab for the massive neck, then with his offhand, attempt to uppercut him straight to the ribcage. But Abigail was strong. This was probably not going to work, but who knows? It just might.

It does work! Abigail is tough, big, strong..but his fighting style isn't exactly a style as much as brute force and creative use of it. So he skilled martial artist like Geese can read through his defenses well enough - so much so that the blow lands solidly and pushes against the huge mans blocky and muscled mid section which undoubtly fills Geese' vision up like some sort of upright mattress given the size of the behemoth.

Size that lets him hold his ground and retaliate with Geese this close in. "Huff!" he grunts at the impact, followed by him thundering, "KABOOM!" as he sends a massive arm hurtling around in a blur of movement in an swat that sends the back of a boulder crushing fist arcing violently at Geese.

Geese's fist buries itself into Abigails Abdomen (tm) and makes sure the huge man -feels- the hit. Though the surprising amount of muscle mass and flash temporarily blinds Geese for a moment, when he feels the body moving? He steps backwards and manages to use both arms to block the massive freight train of a limb that's coming his way. His feet drag against the canvas of the mat, but he manages to minimize the damage the swing would have caused.

In immediate response, Geese tries to flow with the momentum shifing a hand to grip his wrist, while the other tries to simply lock itself underneath Abigails arm. What happens next is a shocking action by the usually smarter than usual Geese -- he tries to throw Abigail in the classic Aikido form, up and over his head even to try and use the big man's weight against him.

Of course, Abigail is extremely heavy, but Geese is hoping he can apply technique to get around it. Hoping being the operative word.

COMBATSYS: Abigail Toughs Out Geese's Shinkuu Nage!

The whole of Howard Arena seems to shake from the thunderous impact as Abigail goes down and succumbs to the throw with the grace of a sequioa that's just been toppled over. His eyes squint shut and his nostrils flare from the violent force of the blow which even bounces him up from the mat briefly to slam back down again..

His recovery, however, is sudden and abrupt. Faster then it should have been as if he weathered that blow slighlty better then one would have anticipated he should have. In a burst of inspired movement he rolls forward like some sort of tumbling boulder and then springs up from that position into a full on jump that takes him into the air In a surprisingly acrobatic move, he manages a full rotation while airborn and then descends downward towards Geese with both of his colossal arms raised upwards and his fingers interlacing to create a massive double-handed axe-handle like blow that is sure to shake the earth from its falling meteoric force.

Geese managed to get Abigail up and over!

But once again, it would appear that Geese's arrogance is his greatest weakness. He scoffs in that moment, and looks to be slightly turning his back on Abigail. But then he hears it, the force of Abigail roling forward like a boulder and leaping into the air. The descending giant that comes down towards Geese is like a downpour of overwhelming strength.

The pair of fists -smash- into Geese, despite his attempt to brace and block the attack, which brings Geese straight to the ground from the force of the impact and rolling to his feet and a space away. After coughing up a little bit of blood from the tremendous impact, Geese actually....-grins-. Like he's enjoying this a bit more than a should.

"Not bad." Though he soon rushes at Abigail once more, his hand going flat like some sharp edge, and Abigail may sense the mystical force of chi gathering on the edge as if to create an enhanced blunt instrument, and Geese tries to bring his hand down on Abigail in a chi-infused chop slashing downwards, trying to find purchase in between Abigail's neck and shoulder.

"Aw naw..." groans Abigail as he sees that flash of blue and the whirling gathering of chi. "That crazy magical whatsit stuff-- he begins to complain just before attempting to bring his massive arms up to try and block the blow...and failing utterly to grasp and shove it aside in time. The effect wrecks him, chi cutting into him and rushing through his form with burning pain accompanied by the brutal force of Geese' chop.

It's just one of those things Abigail can't stand. That mystic-psycho-hadou-sakiyo-hakkyo..whatever they're calling it these days. Meaning it wrecks him.

The force of the blow brings him down towards the ground but his massive hands slam home to push his body back up and then suddenly forward in a violent lunge at Geese leading with the prodigious highway like width of his massive chest. The colossus literally coming in like some sort of semi-truck or freight train that has jumped its rails in an attempt to collide bodily with Geese.

Geese manages to strike Abigail hard enough to drop the massive man, but his eyes narrow when Abigail proves to still be in the fight! He's proving far tougher than last time, that's for certain, and Geese is uncertain if this fact is invigorating or damned annoying. The conflict is apparent in Geese's facial expressions and body language, even as he enters into a fighting stance following the bellow of Abigail.

Geese takes a deep breath, and in that moment, instinct takes over.

The semi-truck of a man lunges forward and so does Geese! Though the massive arms seem to completely miss Geese, as does the body of this massive man, but Geese lunges his fist forward, intending to strike directly at the large Adam's apple of the larger man and stun him for a period of time, if he's accurate enough to land the blow.

[ABIGAIL]
Aww..this isn't good. It seems Abigail -can- lose his cool and get sloppy and his performance here has so far been .not the greatest. Well..this is Geese..but that doesn't stop him from mentally berating himself on top of his grunted and shocked muffled rumble of surprise and pain as he both misses the full force of his assault and then finds his massive neck under assault from the all to accurate counter assault from Geese.

He trips to the side, staggering and catching himself before completely falling but also putting some distance between himself and Geese.

"Hrrrgh! Alright! Just like last time, eh! Looks like I still need some tune up!!"

The bruiser is indeed battered and bruised but he also still seems to be sporting an engine capable of truly pushing to the limits as he brings his gigantic arms around in a colossal flex and his body burns a sudden bright red. His muscles inflate even larger, shredding through his straining tee shirt and splitting the tires around his arms. Steam billows from his nostrils like some sort of enraged bull or..well..overheating engine. "Let's go to the redline!"

COMBATSYS: Abigail VROOOOOMS!!!

Geese grins a bit to himself as his strike finds purchase.

Though Geese is apparently taken slightly aback as those giant arms seem to flex as his muscles inflate even larger. Steam billows from the nostril and Geese's eyes narrow. He knows he needs to probably interrupt this like yesterday. So, its with a sudden clenched fist that Geese charges Abigail, his fist clenching so tight that his palm might start bleeding, as he tries to drive his fist into Abigail's cheek!

Might as well stir up the siege engine that is Abigail just a little bit further.

Indeed..its a good idea to not let Abigail reach Max-Power .. but the behemoth presses on, piling sinew on top of sinew in what seems like an unending loop until he finally cranks backwards as Geese begins rushing in to interrupt him.

Something seems off to the enraged giant though. Through the haze of his assault he feels..something..but then he pushes through it and there's a sudden burst of blurring speed as he suddenly is on Geese with momentum that is in sheer contrast to how crazily immense he is. His fist comes around to slam into the incoming mastermind and with the force of the blow lift Geese up from the ground. This is followed by another and another in a rapid fire blur of machine gun punches that are incoming far to fast to be human like whatsoever.

The final blow comes in the form of a double fist upward swing intending on launching Geese into the air and backwards violently as the giant roars, "ABIGAIL PUNCH!"

[GEESE]
Here comes the machine.

Geese was coming in with a fist, but then there's that blurring speed that most likely came with his muscle mass and Geese looks shocked. But he quickly narrows his eyes and puts his hands up. He knows damned well this is about to -hurt-. Those fists come coming right on in, the first blocked, but pushing Geese into the air all of the same. The machine gun blows though?

Thats what does the damage.

Each fist finds a different part of Geese's body as the blows become too fast for Geese to push away and/or block, but the last hit? The Abigail Punch (tm) strikes Geese -hard- in the chest/chin area, launching him backwards until he bounces off the ground a couple of times.

The crowd goes -wild- at this sudden turn of events! But Geese somehow manages to push himself back to his feet. Calmly, as if he was demanding his body to ignore the pain. He refused to so much as let out a pained grunt as he stood back up straight.

"You....cannot....escape..."

Geese clenches his fist as chi begins to collect around his arms and most notably, his fists as his aura explodes!

"WRONG DEATH!!"

He starts throwing his own machine gun blows at Abigail from a distance, but each of them is a Reppuken, a massive blast of wind and electricity, and each one of them is barrelling towards Abigail like a tsunami, as if he were attempting to beat Abigail into unconsciousness or submission, Geese charges after these blasts, fully intending to double-palm strike the man if he manages to endure all of that.

Will this work? Hopefully, no guarantees.

But Geese is getting serious!

"Urgh!!"

The flowering waves of destruction hone in on Abigail like heat seeking missiles. There's a brief pause as time seems to slow and then a sudden explosion of blue chi that flowers upwards and engulfs the behemoth in repeatedly increasing waves of intensity as each of the rapid fire assaults burns into the giant in a torrent of wind and bolts of lightning.

Geese bursts through this spectacular assault to place both of his palms powerfully into Abigails blistered torso and the force of the blow sends him tumbling backwards in a violent spinning spiral that crashes him against the far end of the ring and nearly tips the entire thing over from the force of his thunderous blow.

He rebounds forward from the impact, wide eyed at first and then a sudden final flashing snort of rage seems to grip him.

"We're at the finish line!" he thunders before vaulting forward once more, lunging into the air and trailing smoke behind him in the arc of his smoldering body.

Mid flight he twists and then comes falling down again like the proverbial hammer from on high with both fo his fists plunging down towards Geese.

Hit or miss, when he slams into the tarp itself, finally, he goes tumbling rolling over end over end and unable to push himself back up any longer.

Geese -pummels- Abigail, with the Kokuu Reppuu Zan attack managing to overwhelm the giant and the last palm strike managing to knock the colossus down, and Geese, for a moment, thought that was it. He stands up tall, blood slightly trickling from his hairline, no doubt blood staning his knuckles from the amount of times he's punched this giant.

But he would not allow himself to make the same mistake twice, as he had done before in a previous fight.

So when Abigail comes vaulting after him, with the hammer coming in straight towards Geese? Geese narrows his eyes. He lunges backwards to escape the oncoming massive fists, but he lunges forth, intending to grab Abigail's head, and slam it face first into the mat as if to counter this meteor-style offense.

And hopefully....just hopefully, Abigail is down for the count.

Fully rising back to his feet, Geese raises his fist in the air as the announcer declares the winner of the bout. Then he gestures with a hand as Howard-employed medical professionals come on down to check and make sure Abigail is still breathing and not suffering from life-threatening injuries.

"Not bad, Abigail. Seems I may need to promote you to a far more profitable job." and with that, Geese gives his respect, and he walks away.

The winner in this contest, is Geese.
