Match of the Millennium

Description: Honoka Inoue challenges Lilith for the red rookie belt! A battle ensues.

[HONOKA INOUE]
It's been a while since Honoka Inoue has been in any high-profile matches. She'd been impressive for a novice but she had decided to take a vacation over the holidays. There's her grandmother to think about after all!

But it's (late) January, she's back at it, and she - surprisingly - decided to go big. She was feeling pretty good about her skills and so she challenged for one of the rookie belts.

It is the biggest solo fight of her career! She had more impressive ones in Slamfest but they were as a team. This is the first time she's been put onto the big Howard Arena by herself when there was a championship on the line.

She's dressed like she was back at SlamFest, though. Maybe it's a lucky charm. A tied-up shirt, a pair of yoga pants with a pattern of spiderwebs holding cartoony stars; Honoka's feeling pretty good about herself when she hops into the ring.

There is the instant of stage fright she always gets, though. She hides it by waving.

[LILITH]
"Whew, and what do we have here?" Lilith is currently sitting at the top of one of the ring's turnbuckle, her legs dangling beneath her. She is in her usual succubus outfit, since well, why wouldn't she be, especially when she's about to have a fight. That was what she was here for, right?

"Are you sure you're ready for this kind of thing, hon? You look a little top-heavy, maybe you wanna get some weighted clothing, build up some muscles down there for that poor spine," she giggles. Lilith is already taking the piss, that is, making fun of the situation, as she would.

"Do you really wanna battle for the belt tonight? It should be fun, at least~" she rolls herself back and manages to flip herself into the ring, landing on her booted feet.

The audience seems amused by Lilith. Why wouldn't they be? They want a show, and she's providing one. There is some laughter.

Honoka, though... Honoka mostly just doesn't seem to get it, though her cheeks pinken. "Huh? Oh, no, I'm plenty strong! At least, I think so... but I guess that's what we're going to find out, right?" She smiles. No, she didn't get the joke...

Actually she is afraid Lilith just called her fat. Which she's not. She checked.

"Anyway, I don't think anyone wears weighted clothing. But I do want to fight! Are you ready for the challenge, Lilith?" Honoka moves a little bit away from her corner, dropping into a more combative stance; bouncing on her feet, she raises both hands in loose fists. She certainly looks ready, or at least as ready as she ever is.

"Some do! Or maybe get some bigger shoes down there, give a bit of a counter balance--" Lilith pranced backwards into the ring, giving Honoka some space to climb over the ropes or slide under them, whichever she was more keen on, before the bell rang and it was on.

"Hnnnghh--here we go, been a while, I should go check out what that Spiderman guy is doing one of these days," she is stretching both her arms--well, both sets of arms, her human ones, as well as the big red arms her wings have a habit of turning into--and as she unclasps both from behind her back the latter coming swinging down into the mat--right in Honoka's direction! It's like a big red stretchy armed hammerblow!

Honoka prefers to go through the ropes; she pushes the top one up and ducks under it, but over most of them. She's short and it's comfortable.

At Lilith's continued teasing, Honoka looks down at her feet. She sticks one of her legs out so she can get a better look at her shoe before realizing that this is a fight and she really ought to pay attention to it!

Especially since Lilith is already coming at her. Honoka's instincts prove to be correct this time - the blow slams into her raised hands as she catches the... wing? Or is it a fist? She's not really sure what she's holding, but she's definitely holding it. "Wow! I didn't know you could do that!!" Darkstalker or just weirdo? You decide!

Honoka, still holding onto Lilith's extended wingfist, begins to spin. And spin. And spin in place, possibly dragging Lilith by that stretchy limb. She wasn't kidding about having some strength, because she can pick up enough momentum doing this to literally toss Lilith back across the mat! "Hiyaaaa!"

Technically, when Lilith is using her wing arm/hands, it's both--it just can change shape. Succubi are good at that.

As the wing arm came down with enough force to rock the mat of the ring, she blinks and realizes Honoka had caught it! Well, that's new.

"Wwooooahh--hold on there two scoops!" Lilith is indeed pulled along by Honoka, hurled down into the mat which she actually rolls in mid-air and avoids landing hard against it, rolling back to her feet!

"Not the only one with good upper body strength, lady! C'mere--HNNNGHHH!" Lilith reaches out with both wing arms, attempting to pick up Honoka and slam her down into the mat... however it appears that top-heavy issue is getting in the way of that!

"Just you wait, I'll--guh--slam you into... oof, I think I pulled something..." she was getting red in the face!

Honoka was absolutely not expecting Lilith to roll-escape her giant swing while in midair. She is perplexed by this!

Two scoops of ice cream sounds pretty good to her, though. Maybe later?

Lilith is close enough and moving fast enough that she gets both hands on Honoka. At least briefly; Honoka is hard to keep grabbed when she doesn't want to be. She's small and and least fairly quick and she moves around a lot.

When Lilith strains to pick her up (which surprises her because Honoka's not actually very heavy) Honoka twists. It takes her two attempts to slide even partially out of Lilith's grasp, and she ends up going up and over and onto the mat anyway - but she lands on her feet, bending her knees to absorb the impact.

Then she turns it into a trio of whirling low kicks at Lilith, trying to take her down! She's concentrating on the fight now, but: "This is fun! We should fight more often! But... maybe it's you that needs to build up some muscles...?"

"Nnrgh--too heavy--" Lilith is giving a very shocked and dismayed face as she's unable to flip Honoka down onto the mat--red in the face still when Honoka bounces back with them kicks! The Succubit has to raise both her human and wing arms to try and cushion in the impact, cringing as she is forced back into the ropes and nearly gets tangled in them!

"Owww--I didn't think she could hit that hard, guh--" Lilith wipes a brow, attempting to bounce off the ropes and slide toward Honoka, giving her a chopping strike with her left hand!

"I told you that I'm stronger than you thought!" Honoka bounces on her feet, giving a flex (more cute than impressive) with one arm.

That's not the only thing that bounces, but don't tell her.

Posing done while Lilith was on the ropes (literally), Honoka is all business again by the time Lilith comes back at her. The chopping strike comes in, and though Honoka first looks like she's going to try to dodge it, she brings up her arm at the last moment, just barely catching the chop on her lower arm.

The impact numbs Honoka's arm, and she lets out a pained "Ow!" - but still manages to stay in close enough to go for a grapple, kicking Lilith's legs again to take her off balance and then gather her up into a crushing bear hug. Well, sort of crushing, anyway. Honoka's not *that* strong, but she's strong enough to make it effective!

"Oh no!" Lilith is able to say that before she is gathered up in the bear hug, feeling the sudden pressure from it and there is a sudden set of cracking noises as her arms (both sets of them) as well as her legs are sticking out from Honoka's grasp, along with her head.

"Ow..." eventually, she is able to wriggle herself out, and falls down to the mat--rolling backwards before she is able to unfurl and become flat, pulling herself up.

"I think I nearly suffocated--whew!" bringing her right wing-arm up, she swings it at Honoka--trying to give her a...

Honoka keeps Lilith trapped as long as she can, repositioning her toward the center of the ring. It's like she learned when she studied wrestling - don't let them get a rope break!

Not that belt matches have rope breaks, but it's the thought that counts.

Though Lilith gets free, she's still *right there* for Honoka to deal with. The quick backhand strikes Honoka's arm again - it's really taking a beating, and she's going to have a nasty bruise later, but that's a problem for after the match.

Right now Honoka isn't really thinking about it, because she can feel her heart burning with the desire for the match to be a good one. Lilith almost shocks her out of it. "Did you? I'm sorry, that wasn't quite what I was trying to do - "

She cuts herself off, clenching her gloved fist. Little wisps of black-red energy ripple around it, but she doesn't unleash it - she unleashes a whipping grab to lift Lilith back up and plant her in front of her, then delivers a powerful blow with her open palm. "Haa~"

Honoka does *not* have the voice to yell like Bruce Lee.

Lilith is able to roll with the punches, and while her backhand strike was turned away by Honoka, she still is quick on her feet--moving back just enough to keep her from taking the full force of the palm strike and double over--stumbling back in even more pain!

"Blargh--ooh, that was something!" she winced, raising her hands to try and defend herself, but then takes a dancing step back, putting some distance between the two as she begins to suck in air, cracking her knuckles. Honoka would be able to sense she's gathering some sort of energy, but it's definitely not chi--before springing out at her opponent, her wing arms swinging around her as she spins, heading for Honoka!

Honoka can tell there's some energy there, but she doesn't know what it is.

That's fine! What she wants right now, more than anything, is Lilith to *fight*. Her heart burns with vigor. She doesn't know why she feels this feeling, or why it comes and goes, but at a time like this it's strong.

The spin comes, and Honoka covers her torso with both arms, held vertically like a boxer. Lilith's wing arms hit her arms, pressing them in against her chest and forcing Honoka to take a step back to brace herself.

"I told you I was going to fight! I'll show you everything I can do!" Honoka breaks her guard by shoving her arms up and away, trying to push Lilith back and follow it up with a sudden powerful punch. And this time she *does* release her energy, feeling it rush down her arm, into her hand -

When Honoka strikes, there is an explosion of red-black chi, and Lilith might find herself launched several feet straight backwards!

"Argh!" Lilith is knocked back after Honoka is able to stop her spinning wing arms--however it seems that the succubit is able to marshall some very strong energy through the pain, panting as she stumbles back and recollects herself after bouncing off the ropes of the ring!

"Alright, here we go, lets get this show started!" Lilith is pulling in energy to her again, though this time it's a ring of prismatic colored psi ring beams around her, jumping up from the ground in a radius around her!

"Are you ready for your big break, Miss Pink~?" Lilith suddenly pulls out from behind her, a very curious looking black silk top hat... which she then flings at Honoka!

"Hey! C'mon!"

As the hat flies towards Honoka and impacts with her body--she'd find it tumbling up to fit itself right on her head! It pulls itself down over her eyes, as what looks like red curtains envelope her from both sides!

"Here we go, and the main event!" with a poof of gray-colored smoke, Lilith is suddenly in a playboy bunny outfit, holding what looks like a big scorecard on a sign! Don't question it!

And the curtains draw back revealing... Honoka Inoue is standing on a round small stage in a white and black cow-print spandex full-body suit, which even has gloves, horns, and a pair of low-heeled boots attached to the suit itself! It's very... form-fitting, which is perhaps the idea--especially with the 'keyhole' cutout over the cleavage.

"Are ya ready!? That's great! Go!" Lilith doesn't wait for a reply, as what seems like invisible strings are commanding Honoka's body to move around, almost robotically--unless she doesn't resist~ dancing!

And it in ends in an explosion, as all things do, with Honoka cast to the ground.

"Ha - huh? That's just a hat!"

Honoka doesn't know what a hat can do, so she tries to smack it away from her - and that's her big mistake, when it rolls up her arm, across her shoulders and up onto her head. "Wh - "

She vanishes behind curtains. There are rustling noises from inside. "Hey!" Honoka calls, faintly audible, as she feels her clothes twist and shift and constrict around her. That's all there is until the curtains open, revealing her once again!

And she's certainly wearing a different outfit now. It's formfitting and shows off her figure even more than the usual outfits she wears do. She twists around to try to see herself, red-faced. It isn't the cow-print that embarrasses her - she owns a cow-print pair of overalls, and a shirt - but the rest of it. Most of her clothes are relatively modest in cut, or would be when worn by someone who isn't built like Honoka. This is different!

Honoka's dancing is robotic and awkward because she's really not trying to do it, but Lilith's magic is inescapable! It's like being pulled around, and every time she moves, she feels her body swing and bounce along with it. There are crowd-appealing physics involved. Thanks, Dead or Alive.

The explosion sends Honoka rolling across the ring. She tumbles, catches herself, stands with a springing movement and throws herself in a flying kick directly toward Lilith - and only when she's already airborne did she realize she's still in the spandex! "Aah! Now I have to win for sure!!"

"Hey, that's a good look for you!" Lilith says, as she keeps the playboy bunny outfit on--her wings will pop out from her back. "It really suits you--those things look like they're weighing you down, whoops!" she ducks the flying kick from Honoka, rising up she directs one of her fishnet stocking clad legs up and snaps a kick out toward her cowpring-clad nemesis with those cherry red pin heeled shoes she's wearing--it will probably hurt.

"I'm surprised you're so bashful about it--you looked like a natural up there!"

"...It's not my style at all!" Honoka objects. "It's so tight! I don't even know how to take it off!" Does this thing even have a zipper? Honoka certainly isn't going to check in the middle of the match! "And that's not how I usually dance..."

Lilith says something that, once again, Honoka misunderstands. Honoka likes to eat sweets and she *has* just been on vacation, but: "Hey! And I haven't put on any weight either!" she blurts out, her face getting even redder than it did for the costume change.

When Lilith kicks, Honoka grabs the leg. That would be bad enough, but she lifts it, pulling Lilith up and over her own head, tossing her down behind Honoka - and then Honoka falls backwards, landing rear-first on top of Lilith. She rolls off afterwards, letting both of them stand up again.

[LILITH]
"It totally is, though!--ack!" Lilith is pretty adamant about this, even as she tries to put the cow maiden down for the count--her eyes going wide and giving a big 'EEP!' as her leg is just grabbed ahold of--suddenly lifted and up and brought down in a piledriver of sorts--or is that more a DDT? It is a bit confusing.

"Oh no!" And then the cow-print-clad butt comes down on Lilith, squashing her with her fishnet-clad legs and heeled feet going up in the air, along with her arms, trying to scramble and escape the massive press.

Grabbing at Honoka with her wing arms, she attempts to lift Honoka off her--and into the new bow-shaped weapon she's just formed out of her wings, trying to 'shoot' her into the ropes!

It is a bit confusing. It's not really a specific move, really - Honoka's just kind of doing what *feels* right. That's pretty much her whole style - a bizarre compilation of traditiona fighting maneuvers, sometimes mixed up with each other. It's a wonder she can keep them straight!

As she starts to rise, she finds herself going up faster as Lilith grabs her. "Eep?" she blurts out, before being launched into the ropes at high velocity! She flails in midair, and that's all that saves her from being launched out of the ring - she gets tangled up with the ropes instead.

Which isn't exactly comfortable. She thinks she strained something catching herself, and Honoka doesn't free herself so much as fall out of the ropes after a few moments. Weaving, she lunges *back* toward Lilith, her new boots making a lot more noise on the ringtop than her original shoes did.

If she gets there before Lilith has gone anywhere, she picks her up with her still-glowing hand. Honoka just grabs, going for some kind of an arm lock - and then there is an *explosion* of chi energy blasting out in all directions as she tries a last-ditch assault!

And it is last-ditch. Honoka is barely on her feet. She's hunched down a little bit, her entire body hurts... it's not great.

"Whoo! ...Wait, you're still here? Oh crap--" Lilith is hit by the sudden blast of energy from Honoka, thrown by the force of it and hitting the ropes--winding flipping right out of the ring and landing with a splat on the side of it, hard. It probably leads to some interesting questions later on on why there is a passed out girl in a playboy bunny outfit or a very comely lady in a cow-print spandex bodyglove later, but eh--these things happen around here all the time!

COMBATSYS: Lilith stares off into space, suddenly transfixed by a growing desire for Pizza Pockets.

Honoka immediately falls on her butt.

But she raises one hand, and then struggles to her feet. She's not out yet! That just leaves only one thing...

"...Where am I going to find my clothes??"
