Circuit Of Champions - Worldwide Pro Belt Match - Rainbow Mika vs Jacky

[Toggle Names]

Description: With the pro belts in lockdown, Rainbow Mika is one of the last holdouts of the pro wrestlers. And finally, she has her challenger. Not Lightning Spangles. But Jacky, the hottest new face in the fighting scene. And he wants her belt! Hosting the defense will be both Violent J and Shaggy 2 Dope, as the clown show wrestling federation comes down hard to keep the belt in wrestling's hands! Jacky and Rainbow Mania has to battle it out with a crowd of Juggalos rooting them on. Will Mika defend her belt? Or will Jacky be down to clown, and able to make the play for the worldwide champion?

[JACKY]
Nashville Tennessee. State capital. The heart of country music. It's a populous city. The largest in the state, in fact. It's also a wrestling town. Which is why it has a dedicated arena solely to a popular wrestling arena that makes its home right here in this city. Brute Force Wrestling. Tonight, the arena is packed to capacity, the stands overflowing, for a special show. A championship belt match!

One look over the crowd, however, reveals that, perhaps, the match isn't the real draw. The faces of the crowd are a special lot, mostly painted stark white, with black markings around the mouths and eyes to let people know just how edgelord clowns can be. Thrilla Killa Klownz, yo. The Juggalos have come out en masse to lay witness upon their icons, the infamous duo of Shaggy 2 Dope and Violent Jay. But the show was supposed to have already started, and now, those wicked clown faces are starting to look lost and restless. So let's not keep them wrestless.

"LADIES, GENTLEMEN, AND PSYCHOPATHS!!!!" the familiar voice of Brute Force Wrestling's dedicated announcer blasts through the PA system. "DUE TO UNFORSEEN EVENTS THAT WE ARE TOLD INVOLVED MAGNETS, FAT BITCHES, AND AN ACCIDENT INVOLVING A TRUCK FULL OF FAYGO, THE INSANE CLOWN POSSE HAS REGRETFULLY INFORMED US THAT THEY WILL NOT BE ABLE TO HOST TONIGHT'S TITLE MATCH!"

The force of the boo'ing is palpable in the air. The jeers ring out, clearly reaching even backstage where the fighters await being called out. It tells them one thing. They're going to have to bring a show with them, or else there are going to be a thousand or more fat kids in facepaint having asthma attacks from trying to start a riot.

"BUT, AS THE RINGMASTER HAS SAID TIME AND TIME AGAIN..." the announcer continues after a moment, "THE SHOW MUST GO ON!!!"

This causes a few reversals. Perhaps more from the fans in the stands that are here for the fight, and not for the spectacle.

"AND SO.... WITHOUT FURTHER ADIEU... TONIGHT'S MAIN EVENT!!!"

After a few moments, the crowd quiets back down to a dull whisper rather than a roar. Music kicks in over the speakers. A guitar heavy piece of electronic rock with a real groove. The kind that will stick in your head for weeks after hearing it.

"Our contender tonight is still a newcomer to the fighting scene, but has already made waves by claiming the Red Pro Belt in a startling upset over the fan favorite Bob! With kicks as fast as lightning, and reflexes honed from years on the indy car track, tonight he's going to put his pedal to the metal in the race for the Worldwide Belt... Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome to the ring... JACKYYYYYYYYYYYYY BRYYYYYYYAAAAAAAAAAANT!!!"

Jacky steps out from behind the stage, backlight by the LED screen behind him showing a close up of his chiseled good looks, and startlingly bright blue eyes. He flashes a grin, and raises his hands up overhead, pointing towards the ceiling. He's dressed for a wrestling match, it seems. No shirt covers his upper body, leaving lean muscle and glistening, smooth flesh exposed for the viewers. His lower body is clad only in a pair of skin tight shorts in black and red, with the word "Burning" emblazoned across the front in lettering that looks like fire. His wrists are supports with black braces, and his knees are likewise covered with athletic braces, and glossy black boots cover his feet, up just under his knees.

He runs down the ramp at full tilt, and leaps, sliding up under the ropes on his stomach and taking back to his feet. He visits each corner, climbing the turnbuckle and giving a triumphant fist pump, each with an accompanying call out.

"YE-HE-YEAH!!!"

"I'M FASTER THAN LIGHTNING!!!"

"THERE'S NO WAY SHE CAN STOP ME!!!"

"I'M GONNA GIVE IT 100%!!!"

[RAINBOW MIKA]
After the last big match Rainbow Mika had been a part of, Rainbowmania was in an unusual place. She'd lashed out and complained about the match. Even though she could easily walk, she didn't even try to acknowledge any of the fans on her way back out of the arena.

The only thing that was worth risking it was to keep hold of the belt.

People would pay to see her regardless.

None of this was what Rainbow Mika had built herself up on, she'd fought hard against any opponent, giving it everything she's got and being thrilled for the fight whether she'd won or lost. Had she lost that spark? Had too much time at the top really changed her that much?

"It's a good thing that those idiotic clowns couldn't show up," Rainbow Mika's voice fills the arena from some unseen location, coming out over the PAs. "I've seen the JCW, and having those losers try to call a match for Rainbow Mika would be an insult to wrestling, and an insult to me!"

As those words hit, the wrestling steps out at the top of the ramp, a microphone in hand, and flanked by an entorage of masked wrestlers to complete the rainbow color scheme: the Rainbow Connection, she'd called them before.

Those comments have earned an eruption of boos even louder than before, filling the arean all the way to the rafters with disatisfaction. A few cans of Faygo are even hurled at the champion, hitting the floor instead and sending red soda spurting everywhere.

"But I guess you're all in luck, because it's time for you to see me defend my belt and show you why there's no better Pro fighter in the world than Rainbow Mika!" she shouts, reaching over and taking the belt from one of the masked wrestlers beside her, holding it up high over her head. "This is the proof that I'm the best there is in my class. This is the proof that Rainbowmania will never stop, because /I/ am just too good."

There's no grand run to the ring, no chorus of cheers. Rainbow Mika carries herself down to the ring, like the lead in a flight of birds, at a casual walking pace, completely ignoring the angry, yelling, faint-painted crowd on either side of the ramp. As she takes to the steps, one of the Rainbow Connection jumps up onto the apron, pulling the ring ropes apart to allow the champion to slip in with almost no effort.

And once in the ring, she simply heads to one corner, leaning back with her arms propped up onto the ropes, the Rainbow Connection staying outside and filling the open space outside the ring.

[JACKY]
Whatever drama was unfolding for Rainbow Mika, Jacky had no knowledge of, nor any interest in. He assumes that she's just putting on a show for the fans. Wrestlers go back and forth over their career as good guys and bad guys. He's not a wrestler. He's just a guy who's using the fight as a means to an end, when it comes right down to it. He's just making sure to have fun along the way.

As Mika and her entourage make their way to the ring, Jacky takes up residence in the center, waiting patiently for her arrival. He never waivers with that easy grin the entire time, and he even gives the blonde wrestler a nod of greeting as she makes her way in to the corner. He takes the time, stretching and loosening up. Preparing for the fight that's ahead of him. He might not know about the ins and outs of wrestling as a profession, but he does know that Mika is a strong contender. After all, she does hold that belt. This isn't going to be an easy match.

"Hey hey!" he says, finally, after the crowd's reaction starts to taper off. "Win or lose, let's give it everything we've got and have some fun, right?"

The referee, of course, makes his way into the ring, as well, laying out the rules and terms of the match, which is all standard fare for these SNF events. Afterwards, he backs up, resolving to stay out of the way of the fighters just before...

DING DING!!!

The bell is rung, sounding off the start of the match. Jacky is, as always, in overdrive right from the get go. He bounces on the balls of his feet, back and forth, springy and light. His hands are loosely held, one up near his face, and the lead lower, arm bent in an L shape for a lower guard. The stance and movements are clear. Jacky is no wrestler. He's one of many fighters who have followed the path of the legendary Dragon, and taken the concepts and philosophy of Jeet Kun Do to heart.

He dashes forth at Mika in the corner, and tries to snake one of his long arms around the back of her head to draw her out, making her lean forward into a headlock, while one foot snaps up behind him to attempt a kick to her face with just enough force that when he lets her go, she should be instantly dropped to the mat.

COMBATSYS: Rainbow Mika endures Jacky's Dragon Snap.

[RAINBOW MIKA]
As the bell actually rings, Rainbow Mika gets up and moves forward far enough that she's actually got some room to move, but Jacky is still left with most of the room to have to cross the open ring. She's going to play this all slow for now, see what he's working with, and do her best not to build the crowd up too much unless they start cheering for Jacky, then she'll have everything working again.

Rainbow Mika really had reached the peak of popularity. Fans would show up for any match, and they'd be calling out for her and happy, but it wasn't doing anything special.

Change is vital.

Making people wonder what's happening, shaking everything up and getting people desperate to watch to see what would happen next was essential if things were going to move forward. Rainbowmania can't stay the same, or what's the point of putting on a show to begin with.

She's still a wrestler, though, and she knows that Jacky isn't. Moving for a hold first is an interesting move, so she waits to see the follow-up, trying to test his approach and takes a knee to the face for it.

But this is still good. He's close at hand, there's bound to be recovery time, and with this little room between them, he shouldn't have much of a chance to even breathe before she acts, immediately dropping lower, but not to the mat. No, she moves to slip both arms in behind Jacky's knees before straightening back up and dragging them out from under him. Instantly moving into a whirlwind spin with Jacky's head on the outside as she rotates, letting go at the peak of her speed to send him flying.

[JACKY]
Alright. He's testing the waters, but he wasn't expecting to actually sneak that grab in on Mika so quickly. Was she thinking that he would be nothing but a striker? Or was it just luck?

No. It was bait. She was baiting him, and now he's in a position to be grappled as a result. Of course.

Jacky moves, trying to evade her grip and instead, intercept her and draw her into his own comfort zone, where he can keep her hands trapped, looping round and round with his until such a time that he could deliver a counterstrike. But his timing is off. She gets her grip on his legs, and he's spun, over and over until she finally lets go and he soars across to the other side of the ring.

He lands on his back, bouncing off of the mat with a thunderous boom, and flipping back so that he skids on his knees, rises to his feet and falls back onto the ropes. They creak and groan, stretching with his weight and leftover momentum, and he catches hold of them with one hand so that he doesn't go springing right back at her.

[RAINBOW MIKA]
Normally after getting a good grapple in like that, Rainbow Mika would settle into a moment to appeal to the crowd and get them all worked up in her favor, but now she actually has to hold herself back. She can't let herself just fall into a rhythm if she's actually going to shake things up.

This means that the follow-up is more important to stay aggressive. Don't give your opponent a lot of time, and especially don't let it look like you're trying to show any respect. Slow things down a bit, so that the crowd doesn't just think you're putting on a spectacular show, too.

Still, it's the ring, and Rainbow Mika has every bit of training advantage in the ring, especially with her opponent literally on the ropes.

Easily clearing the open space between them, Mika is quick to try to get Jacky before he can fully pull himself together, aiming to hook an arm in around the back of his neck, and then hold him in place for a knee strike to the midsection, for a decent turn-about on his opening maneuver.

[JACKY]
It's good to switch things up and change. But denying a personal rhythm upsets one's balance in a real fight. If this were just a choreographed setpiece for the ring, as most professional wrestling matches are, denying your rhythm isn't an issue. You move to the rhythm of the choreography. But in a real fight, you have your flow, and if you try to change it, you stumble.

Mika's follow up is too aggressive. She manages to stumble. Not in a literal sense, of course. She is a picture of perfection as always. But moving on Jacky so aggressively, trying to maintain pressure and match the race only plays to his own flow and rhythm. He's at his best when things are moving at a blistering pace, and the pressure is on. He's a hard boiled kind of guy, who smells of burnt rubber even now, in the ring.

"You can't beat me with that!!!"

His words ring out cheerfully as she comes in to try to grasp his head. He reaches up, interrupting that grasp with a blocking manuever that he then turns around and uses to attempt to grasp hold of her wrist.

Should he manage it, she'll find him moving like water, shifting and sliding right off of the ropes and around her so that he can twist her arm around her back while his other arm slips around her neck. If he pulls it off, it's a picture perfect grappling tie up, wrenching her arm painfully in the socket and controlling her movement. He'll take a step back, to pull her off balance and backwards, but also to ready his leg so that he can deliver a thrusting knee directly into the center of her back.

[RAINBOW MIKA]
Everyone thinks wrestling is staged: it's not. Not outside of the occasional carnival show, anyway.

In a world where professional fighters routinely defy nature and their own bodies with absurd feats of strength, speed, and skill, nobody is going to tune in to watch a bunch of people in spandex put on a pre-programmed show, even if the hits are real.

No, the only thing fake for pro wrestling is the personalities, and it's clear to Mika that she probably should have put in some more training portraying her new twist on the persona in order to flow better. If she'd been smarter about it, she would have put the swerve in during or after the big championship match instead of before it.

She's just going to have to try a bit harder, then.

But for now, she's going to have to keep the show going and put more effort into the fight, and it's gone right back to grappling, which means she's quite likely in luck.

As she's wrenched about with one arm, she's watching his motions, searching for the opening, and then as he goes for another strike, that's clearly it. As the hit lands, she takes it full on, but twists her body around so that the hit helps propel her into a flip, reversing the hold on her arm enough that she's free to move, and likely pulling Jacky off balance in the process.

"I'm the Champion, you're the challenger, /you're/ the one who has to try to beat /me/!"

With those words, she moves to take hold of him by the shoulders, locking him in place as she slams her forehead into his like it was made of steel. Each hit landing over, and over, and over as she aims to bash every bit of sense out of his skull.

From there, it's a quick flow to shift around to his side, lock an arm in over his neck, bending him over in the middle before charging forward to drag him behind her, before throwing her legs forward out from under herself and putting every bit of her weight into the back of his neck as she slams his jaw into the mat.

[JACKY]
After she takes the knee to the back, Jacky is actually surprised that she's not immediately floored. Surprised enough that he is, in fact, drawn off balance as she pulls him forward, reversing that hold.

"Damn! You're tough!"

As she grasps at his shoulders, though, Jacky catches her up. His wrists meet hers, and this time, he manages to draw her in, redirecting her hands, leading her into the swirling, figure eight motions of a Wing Chun trap, until he can get them crossed so that he can close one fist over them. The other hand snakes under, positioning itself just under her chest, against her solar plexus. A sudden snap, and he clenches his fist, his body torquing at the same time to the side. All of this gives him the power to deliver a gut-wrenching punch with all of his might from only the distance of the length of his fingers.

"I ain't got time for you!! It's like you're moving in slow motion!!!"

[RAINBOW MIKA]
This hasn't worked out quite the way that Rainbow Mika had imagined, but something has started to go the way that she'd been hoping for, which is more important in the grand scheme of things. As Jacky starts to retake control of the fight, combined with everything that Mika's done to build up the anger in the building in her direction, the crowd of face-painted Faygo-fanatics have started to cheer for Jacky to take the win over Mika.

It definitely hurts to take the hits, each one being an unpleasant bit of pain going through her, and almost knocking the wind out of her. She's left reeling stumbling and honestly overselling a bit as she falls back against the ropes.

"If you don't have time, then how about you just do yourself a favor and stop now?" She asks, twisting about as she jumps up to the second rope and then springs off it, launching into an grand aerial display as she bends in half at her midsection, turning her ass into a Jacky-seeking missile.

[JACKY]
"Stop now? I never stop, baby! I'm just kicking things into gear! I'll always claim the pole positi--!!!"

Jacky's boasting is cut off as he gets a face full of Mika booty. He's sent staggering back, arms windmilling about as he tries to reclaim his balance. He fails, and winds up falling to the ground, flat on his back.

"W-what the hell was that?!"

With the tightness of Jacky's shorts, there's bound to be a far too easy joke about claiming the pole position here. He scrambles to his feet frantically, and crouches down, rearing back with one arm out, defensively in front of him.

Then, he burst forward, aiming a lunging uppercut punch at Mika's stomach with the intent to lift her off of her feet. He follows up with a high sweeping roundhouse kick from the right leg, which propels him forward with a stomp as he lunges with a left straight, aimed at Mika's face. A right cross follows, which he turns into the spin to follow up with a left backhand and into a right roundhouse kick, all delivered at lightning fast speeds. Still turning, Jacky comes around, crossing his fists over his chest. As he comes back around, his stance drops into a low, wide legged horse stance, as he unleashes an explosively powerful backfist finisher that, should it land sure, will send Mika flying across, and possibly even out of the ring.

[RAINBOW MIKA]
Anyone who'd ever bothered to watch one of Rainbow Mika's matches would have had some clue about one of her most iconic moves. Anyone who'd paid much attention to women wrestlers (especially in Japan), would have known that hip attacks are common enough... although given Rainbow Mika's particular build and just how much skin shows in her outfits, it does tend to be more of a heartstopper than it might otherwise be.

But it's a good chance to shift momentum, clear the distance and set your opponent in a good position to be dealt with. These are important in a fight... the downside is it's pretty hard to not get some cheers when you do a move like that.

The important thing, though, is that it's pushed Jacky back, lined him up perfectly where she wants him, even as he winds up for something big. She can feel it, the rising excitement, the surge of momentum. To properly handle yourself in Pro Wrestling the way that Rainbow Mika does, you need to be ready for something big, and go for it or hope it looks good.

And right now, Rainbow Mika intends to go for it.

As Jacky's fist comes flying, he only manages to catch a hint of her flank as Rainbow Mika twists out of the way, letting his motion carry him forward while she slips in behind him. In a flash, both arms are wrapped in tight around his waist, locked hard into position and clenching him back up against her.

Everything is lined up.

Launching herself in a perfect arc, she drags Jacky back with her through the air, bending over backward as the pair go flying, slamming Jacky's head into the turnbuckle at full tilt.

[JACKY]
Jacky was fairly certain that he'd have her down and out with this final combination of devastating strikes. Imagine his surprise then, when he's feeling her arms wrapping around his waist and carrying him up and over. The sensation is akin to vertigo, as he watches the crowd drop out of sight, and the lights overhead now blaring into his retinas. The padding of the turnbuckle really does little to mitigate the sting of the steel hidden just beneath it, and the Blue Streak hears ringing in his ears, as his vision blurs and darkens.

"Tha... That's gonna leave a mark.... Yep..."

Jacky uses the ropes to help himself stand back up to his feet. Seems like he's still not down for the count, even if he now has an open gash at the back of his head, staining his trademark platinum blonde hair a bright and vibrant shade of red. He turns those crystal clear blue eyes back on Mika and flashes her a bright, if lopsided grin.

"That WASN'T your best shot!!!"

He lunges at Mika, grabbing her right wrist with his right hand and drawing her forward to try to drag her off balance, while simultaneously crossing his left fist over their arms to deliver a backhand to the side of her face.

"C'mon!!"

Provided that first attempt succeeds, Jacky jerks her arm downward as he steps in, turning to the side and unleashing a fast but brutal elbow to Mika's stomach, leaning his entire weight forward into it. It's not going to make her collapse, but it should make her stagger back, just into the perfect position to take the cobra-like whiplashing strike of another hard hitting backfist to the face.

"YEAH!!!"

[RAINBOW MIKA]
With Jacky getting back up to his feet, the crowd erupts again. Seeing someone get back to their feet, bleeding, after their head was slammed into a turnbuckle is a hell of a thing, and Jacky's excitement, combined with Mika's heelishness, is more than enough to get the whole crowd ready to cheer for the challenger.

Rainbow Mika is used to hostile crowds.

There are always audiences that just aren't willing to buy in, who want to be contrarian and spit in the face of the mainstream and go for the bad guy. Who are willing to cheer for anything as long as it means blood, preferably on the babyface.

This is different. Mika isn't just getting boos because she's too clean and too nice. She's earned everything that's been thrown against her, and it's just enough of a change that she really is starting to feel off her game when she should be paying more attention to the fight than the crowd. Normally the crowd just makes everything flow better, but now...

...and then she's shaken out of her distraction as her wrist is grabbed and yanked, a move that rarely works as well on wrestlers as other, less grounded martial artists, but she's not let herself be in the right head space, and even as she tries to respond to the follow-ups, she ends up stumbling even more into the smack, being sent reeling with each follow-up hit. The final backfist sends blood spilling out of her mouth, splattering across the mat as she's sent flying back into the ropes, hitting them hard.

She messed up.

But that doesn't mean she gets to just lay down and give up. The belt is important, it gives her a position to build from. An authority. It's something that the crowds need to want to see her lose again and again until whoever manages to take it off her is hailed as a real champion.

The belt didn't matter nearly as much before she decided to make the turn.

Pulling all of her energy back together, Rainbow Mika pulls herself up with the ropes, climbing the turnbuckle just enough to have the height to leap off, launching herself out into a double drop kick aimed directly at Jacky's midsection.

[JACKY]
Alright! In a match that has been so completely nail-biting, seeming to shift flow and focus moment by moment, with neither side ever truly getting a clear and tangible lead over the other, the moment that Jacky's first backhand to Mika's face lands solid, he knows that Lady Luck has pulled for him. It's a solid blow, resounding with a meaty snap of flesh and bone against flesh and bone. His follow up chain bears no less weight, with the elbow and proceeding backfist landing just as true. This is the moment that Jacky needed. The moment when he lays into the throttle and punches the gas, and leaves the competition in the dust.

"YEAH!!!"

As Mika lays against the ropes, Jacky throws up his hands in victory. He turns his back to her, to lean against the ropes on the other side and play to the crowd, getting them riled up for his apparent victory. He doesn't seem to be aware of the rising threat of the wrestler behind him, as she climbs the ropes and positions herself atop the turnbuckle. He's egging the pasty-faced Juggalos and Juggalettes on, urging their cries to grow louder and louder as he runs down the side of the ring. And when he turns at the corner, he sees her.

She lunges at Jacky with her last bit of strength, and for all the world, Jacky's bright blue eyes widen in a look of sheer horror. Is she a god damned Terminator? The full weight of the musclular diva flying at him seems larger than life, but instinct kicks in, and Jacky braces his arms and hunches his back just enough that the soles of her boots crash against the sturdy stuff of his forearms.

Oh, it hurts. After the beating he's taken, even blocking this attack takes him to the edge of consciousness. His guard is broken, and he staggers back, tripping over his own feet as the world teeters on its axis in his eyes, and he's left grasping for the ropes that barely catch him from falling down.

"Hey! You still got some left in the tank?! I'm running on fumes here!"
