Match of the Millennium

Description: Neo-League: Masaaki vs. Rochelle. Rochelle and Masaaki meet in battle for the second time, off the streets of Southtown, and in the harsh, cruel world of clowns.

[MASAAKI]
Masaaki only rarely leaves Japan, his 'job' usually taking up too much time for traveling abroad. Of course, when a Neo League fight was sheduled elsewhere that was an entirely different matter as the promise of a exciting fight is enough to get him and a small entourage of colleagues to travel across the entire globe if required.

Seeing the cordoned-off 'Motel' in Nevada where the fight was to be held meanwhile soured his ethusiasm by a good bit the moment he arrived and tempts him to add arsony to his repertoire of crimes as the place both creeps him out and annoys him, which is only barely held in check by his pining for the fight as he paces around the place, his own henchmen tossing him his sheathed katana before they disappear into the background to watch.

[ROCHELLE]
Rochelle, one of Geese's assassins and enforcers, emerges from a hallway in her black leather outfit, titanium bo staff in hand.

"Hiya, honey," Rochelle says, spotting her fellow Southtown criminal affiliate from across the room. She places her gloved hand atop the head of a clown doll, smiling down at it, before she drags it off with a finger extended and turns to face Masaaki. There's a flair of chi from her hands and feet, crison, as she drops into a Silat stance with her staff, angling it backwards as she moves into a back-leaning position.

"Bring it on."

"Ah, Rochelle. It has been a while." Thats is all Masaaki has to say as he turns to face her, not wasting a second as he starts rushing in her direction in an attempt to aim a combination of jabs followed by an Uppercut in the hopes of leaving a 'good impression' right at the start.

"Not too long, but long enough," Rochelle replies with a throaty purr and a smirk.

As Masaaki charges in, she backpedals with a series of blocks, before the uppercut is pushes back by the staff held horizontally.

Rochelle steps forward to jam the toe of her boot onto Masaaki's shoe, before shoving her bo staff at his armpit in an attempt to lift him off his feet and turn about, throwing him downwards into the ground after the scoop.

Seeing that attack coming easily Masaaki quickly manages to take the majority of the impact out of it by bracing against it and reacting to the throw by simply rolling back into standing up again. "Well, good thing we get to have another match then." He doesn't waste another moment as he instead rushes right back at her in an attempt to grab her and throw her over his shoulder in a swift throw.

Rochelle is flipped over Masaaki's shoulder and hits the ground flat, grunting. She rolls onto her face and presses herself to her feet with a hand, then spinning her bo staff in her hand with a toss and catch, before drawing it across her front.

Rochelle takes a step forward and snaps her leg up with a quick Silat front kick, holding her bo in position to defend against any incoming attack.

Masaaki blocks the kick by moving his arms in the way to take the brunt of the hit before taking a rapid step back and tossing a nearby clown figurine at her. After all, those creepy things have to be good for something.

Rochelle thrusts forward and lets the figurine break over her head, with a petit growl.

"Don't hurt the clowns, Masaai!" she shouts, before she rolls forward and drags her staff along with her at her side. As she comes to the end of the roll, she brings her staff downwards in a vertical line strike, slamming it onto the ground from above, while she remains in a crouch.

Masaaki barely reacts to the slam of the staff as he instead powers through it in an attempt to use the momentum to grab Rochelle by the shoulders and simply throw her backwards across the place.

Rochelle's staff strike rebounds off Masaaki as he grabs her while in the crouch, and instead of being shifted from her low stance, she keeps her center of gravity lower and fluid, lifting her staff and twisting it about to hold it the long way above her.

As hands attempt to throw her across the room, she dips her head beneath the staff and attempts to butt her crown into Masaaki's groin, to force him to overcompensate above her and across the staff, before springing upwards and lifting him with the staff off his feet, then backwards into a bo-assisted suplex, her body becoming lithe and arching backwards.

Masaaki simply uses the lift to vault over Rochelle, avoiding the intended suplex in the process and immideately turning back towards her in a dash as he lands to hit her with a Dropkick.

Rochelle's left hand touches the ground behind her, before she springs back to her feet and out of the suplex she missed, right in time to catch a drop kick to her bountiful chest.

There's a shriek as she's vaulted backwards, through a desk and cash register, flipping end over end, and into a wall. She slams into it and the roof rocks, as the dry wall breaks and she hits a stud with her shoulders.

Rochelle falls to the ground, shaken, spitting up blood and wheezing.

Rochelle takes a moment to gather her wits, before she presses up to her feet and jumps over the remains of the desk, and the clown dolls she knocked aside or broke.

After her motorcycle boots hit the carpet, she takes three steps forward, planting her staff on the ground on the second step and taking off from the floor on the third. She launches across the room in a sclera of bright red chi, a roaring wave of flickering flames around her as she hurtles at Masaaki!

"HIIIIIYAH!"

Masaaki can only swing his arms up and in the way as Rochelle crashes into him, sending him skidding across the floor backwards before he comes to a halt as he impacts with a wall behind him. Taking a moment to take a wheezing breath he quickly smirks at Rochelle before pushing himself away from the wall as he runs towards her to kick her in the chest. Again. Just with a snap kick this time.

Rochelle lands after the kick, the chi sizzling down in a flash of ozone and smoke, before she grins bloodily at Masaaki, her painted red lips stained with her blood.

She steps to the side in a juke-hop and spins around as he snap-kicks past her, her arm swinging around with a forearm-slam at the back of his head, her arm lighting up with a flash of energy.

"Ha!"

As he is hit in the back of the head Masaaki stumbles slighty forward and spits blood before abruptly turning around in place and throwing himself right at her as if nothing happened, intend on shoving her against the next best wall to rapidly beat her into it before finishing with a headbutt in a haze of red aura.

Rochelle is pinned up against the wall and pummelled mercilessly, slowly shrinking downwards as she's slammed and smashed by fists. As the final headbutt strikes, she surges forward and out of her diminuitive position, swinging her staff around with a mighty sweep at Masaaki's Achille's tendon, stumbling about with odd precision and grace as she attempts to sweep his leg out from under him and take him to the ground, before a single jam downwards into his sternum, before bouncing backwards and onto her back, unconscious.

COMBATSYS: Rochelle can no longer fight.

As valiant and efficient as that last strike may be considering circumstances Masaaki is less than threatened by it as he may fall to the ground but through tensing up and the repeated use of his arms to get into the way of the staff the attack barely so much as winds him as he simply clambers back up into a stand as Rochelle falls unconscious.

"Good fight. Have a drink on me once you get back up." She may not be able to hear or see it but he does give her unconscious form a slight bow before tossing her a small wad of dollar bills before turning around to away from this Motel, quickly followed by his colleagues emerging from the sidelines.

COMBATSYS: Masaaki takes no action.
