Match of the Millennium

Description: Some people would think that a corporate BBQ would be for the employees. But with the new promotion with the Itinerant Compassion Project, well, what better way to use a corporate BBQ than to feed the homeless? Violet of Violet Systems, the CEO of Violet Systems, has made this hasty change to promote the truly needy of the world... And what would a barbecue be without two beautiful ladies to help out? Japan's most beautiful woman, Mai Shiranui will be teaming up with the Princess of Kyokugenryu Karate, Yuri Sakazaki. While the rest of the executives of Atlas Concepts make hundreds of hot dogs for the lines of the homeless, Violet will be facing off between beauty... and a beast.

[LEE CHAOLAN]
It was a good corporate marriage.

At the Southtown Park, both the employees of Atlas Concepts and Violet Systems were out at a massive company barbeque. Certainly, while the acres of forest and gardens typically were quiet, around these gazebos, it was far from it. Lines and lines of employees were waiting for the hot dogs and hamburgers to be cooked by the executives of both companies... well, Atlas Concepts. The Violet Systems executives had to step out with the exception of one.

And that one, well, had much more pressing matters.

Lee Chaolan was in one of the smaller gazebos, placed between the two massive white tents that made the dining area and cooking area, respectively. He had on a white 'Kiss The Chef' apron, smiling idly as he has a seat amongst the white gazebo. White and red flowers were set up around the exterior of the gazebo in strings; almost better suited for a wedding than a fight. He was reclining on a bench, clutching a single rose. He tenderly sniffs it, as he waits, yearning, eager for his two opponents.

Or at least, one of them.

[MAI]
Mai Shiranui has found herself enrolled in another SNF. While she's certainly not a fighter looking to make her name for herself as some are, any chance to demonstrate her skills brings her one step closer to bringing Shiranui Style Ninjutsu--and the Shiranui Clan itself--to greatest. Some might say that such blatant demonstrations of technique are contrary to the way of the ninja. These same naysayers might also say that Mai's wardrobe is unbecoming of a kunoichi, and that she is anything but subtle.

Mai Shiranui scoffs at such naysaying! How else will people know the stylish and deadly techniques of Shiranuiryu besides seeing it in action? Mai can be subtle when she wants to, but this is not the time. Well, except, Mai is presently dressed in a t-shirt with the corporate logo (it was free) and blue jeans. She is not, for a change, dressed in her distinct ninja clothing.

She is, however, making her way toward the white gazebo, and drawing quite a bit of attention to boot. "What?" she asks a man in black suit. "Do *I* have to wear the apron too?" she makes her best pouty face. Several other men look at him as though he's committed some grievous sin.

[YURI]
Nice day for a cookout, yes. But even better for a fight!

There are many people here for the cookout, but for Yuri, she sees them as potential students within the Kyokugen Karate style. Between the fact there's plans for a great fight and there are so many people watching, it's more than enough to put a big smile on Yuri's face. Not to mention, being teamed up with the beautiful Mai Shiranui? Double the awesome!

It's not hard to spot Yuri, because unlike Mai, Yuri's running in rather quickly with her huge signature grin on her face. Upon her arrival, she skids to a halt and waves cheerfully. "Heeeeeellooooooooo everyboooooody!" Yuri says happily. "I'm Yuri Sakazaki, and I'm gonna show you the awesomeness that is, in fact, Kyokugen Karate! I've also got literature being distributed, so if you wanna see just how awesome Kyokugen Karate can be, you'll know where to go!" She giggles and jumps for joy before adding, "But for now, hold onto your hats! It's gonna be high intensity excitement as I go at it today!" She cracks her knuckles and rolls her arm around few times to warm up.

[LEE CHAOLAN]
"Ah~"

Lee Chaolan sighs wistfully, sniffing the rose gently in his repose. "Mai Shiranui, Japan's number one woman~" Lee Chaolan almost sparkles with his expression. "No, no, I would not have your incredible beauty restrained by something so wanton as an apron; I'll let the incredibly lucky Mister Shiranui take that honor." Lee Chaolan gives Mai a coy wink and just the hint of a smirk.

"And Yuri."

You could almost hear the sniff of disdain in his voice. "I was just speaking with Robert recently, Miss Sakazaki." Lee Chaolan says, swinging his legs off the bench. "Very nice man, very... eager in protecting the Kyokugen ways. Of course, he always seems to have a girl clinging to him. And a different each time~" Lee Chaolan toys with the rose betwixt his fingers. "I am certain you heard of my Combots... and I have been very interested in Kyokugen being represented in them~" Lee Chaolan reaches a full stand, his fancy black suit concealed by the apron. He gives a small bow.

"Of course, your father has no interest in promoting Kyokugen~"

[MAI]
Mai turns her head when she's addressed. When Lee uses Mai's (admittedly self-given) title, she brushes back her hair and produces a steel fan from seemingly nowhere. Flipping it open, Mai uses it to conceal the bottom half of her face.

"Oh my," Mai says, "how charming! But I must say that my heart belongs to another," Mai says coyly, as if daring Lee to do better. "But I do not think we've been properly acquainted?"

Her head tilts toward Yuri, especially as she's snubbed. "And I don't think we've met properly either, have we? I have heard all sorts of nice things about Kyoukugen Karate. You're Yuri, then? I'm Mai Shiranui," she says with a slight pause.

"Japan's most beautiful woman!" she plugs, removing her fan from her face to put her hand on her tilted hip. She smiles widely at Yuri. It's almost smug, but still friendly? It certainly doesn't seem /malicious/ at least. She offers Yuri a hand.

[YURI]
"Whaaaaaaaaat? No interest in promoting Kyokugen?!" Yuri does an eyeball and sticks out her tongue for a moment before saying, "That's so totally not cool! I'm gonna have a word with him after this!" She folds her arms and hmmmphs. "He is so totally uncool!" She ignores the comment about Robert because that's between her and Robert herself.

After showing her disgust with Lee and her father, Mai speaks up, and Yuri ohs. "Sorry about that!" She says, scratching her head nervously. "Just got a bit carried away there!" She smiles. "I'm Yuri Sakazaki, and yes, Kyokugen Karate is sooooooo awesome it--" She trails off as she realizes she's speaking to someone very well known. "I mean, uh, yeah, it's rather nice isn't it."

Yuri blushes for a moment, before shaking Mai's hand gently. "It's good to meet you too! I've heard a lot about you, and you are, indeed, quite beautiful!"

[LEE CHAOLAN]
The seeds of manipulation had been planted.

"Would you talk to him?~" Lee Chaolan coos. The failure to react to Robert was noted. She was stronger willed than he expected. Mai, on the other hand, was toying with his charms. Delightful, absolutely delightful. "Ah, but yes, yes. Forgive me, I have failed to introduce myself." And with that, he tosses the rose in the air, letting it spin as it takes flight high up into the sky. "I am...

"Lee Chaolan."

"CEO of Violet Systems, majority stockholder of G Corporation, and Worldwide Master Belt holder..." He gives the coy eye twinkle. "...As well as voted Japan's Number One Man five years in a row." He might have taken Mai's challenge. He strides past the women, out between the tents. The employees were now looking at both the pair of beauties AND their boss coming out. A dinner with a show. "Of course, you have not come for my good looks.

"You've come for a fight."

Lee Chaolan tucks an arm behind his back, gesturing with the other as he speaks. "I am all too eager to fight Japan's number one- Oh, I am sorry, Japan's most beautiful woman~, and the young prodigy of Kyokugen. I must admit, I am doing this fight for selfish reasons. Not just to feed the homeless, of course." That was a good point. Where was the homeless? Shouldn't there be homeless people? Maybe they were... integrated with the employees? He takes another bow, before falling into his fighting stance. "I look forward, finally, to face two of the most spirited fighters I have seen." And his hand snaps out from behind his back. He snatches the rose out of the air, delicately between two fingers. He takes a sniff, and beckons for the girls with his other hand.

"C'mon~"

"Why, thank you!" Mai beams back at Yuri, shaking her hand. "Promise you'll give it your best, hmm?" she says happily before turning back to address Lee.

And it's then that Mai tosses her fan into the air then takes hold of her shirt and, with a spin, completely disrobes before a crowd of people! Well, in actuality she somehow removes her t-shirt and jeans to reveal her usual ninja garb beneath, all modesty tossed aside with her street clothes. The fan lands back in her hand smoothly. Mai gestures at Lee with it.

"I hope you're ready!" Mai says, bobbing (and bouncing) back and forth. She kicks her sneakers off quietly, tossing them aside to reveal her usual tabi socks.

[YURI]
"I definitely will!" Yuri replies with a big smile on her face. She then watches with widened eyes as Mai proceeds to demonstrate a ninja trick, changing from her street clothes into her ninja attire, and then catching her fan. "Whoa, awesome!" Yuri says, clapping her hands a few times, before turning to face Lee.

"I don't care what you think of Robert and I, or what my dad feels about things. I'm here for a great fight, and we're gonna make sure we give it our all! Because Kyokugen is awesome like nothing else and we're gonna show everyone that!"

Rolling her arms a couple more times before doing a couple side lunges, albeit to show off rather than actually stretch, Yuri points at Lee and says, "Come on! Let's get this fight on!"

[LEE CHAOLAN]
Lee Chaolan was patient.

After all, she needed to get changed. There was a rise in voices amongst the crowd, not a dirty face within them. Lee Chaolan arcs a brow, as she finishes powdering her nose. With the energy pouring out of each of the girls, Lee Chaolan seemed satisfied at the pair of new women that had come together as a team against him. With both opponents ready, he only gives one word

"Excellent~"

And Lee erupts forward.

Charging down, the executive takes his mark on Yuri. Locking his eyes on the Kyokugen fighter, he unleashes a wide, arching roundhouse kick off his right leg, letting it swing hard and fast... short of the Kyokugen fighter. Dropping his leg hard into the grass, he pivots, circling around close and fast the younger fighter. Two jabs come from his right, as the left still clutches the rose. And yet, both end up as feints, drawing nothing as he continues his circle around. He takes a long step back, drawing back his leg, before unleashing a full-force mule kick...

At Mai.

The positioning was precise, not tracking on Yuri, but on the beautiful ninja. The eruption of a kick was a snap out, aiming straight for Mai's neck. A fierce and fast move, aimed to wake her up with the relentless combination of moves.

All with a coy smirk and sniff of the rose.

Mai continues to sway back and forth. She waves to the crowd, but she continues to watch Lee out of the corner of her eye. When he comes in and goes toward Yuri, Mai pivots back around to watch. She can't block for Yuri, of course, but there's no need when Lee goes wide and transitions into a series of flashy moves. Mai's eyes narrow, trying to assess what's going on.

And then she gasps when Lee nails her in the throat. Her arm is mid-way up to block when the kick connects, forcing Mai to stagger back and away from Lee. The kunoichi is still rubbing her neck and trying to catch her breath as she steps back. "How...sneaky!" she wheezes, forcing a smile.

A smile which stands in contrast to the underhanded swing of Mai's now open fan. She spins toward Lee and swings the tessen toward his side. Rather than stopping as it comes in, however, Mai continues spinning with a second fan in her other hand, aiming to complete the rotation with a follow-up hit.

"Are you always so showy, Mister Chaolan, or are you putting on a special demonstration for ~me~?"

[YURI]
Meanwhile, Yuri is bouncing on the heels of her Chuck Taylor sneakers, watching eagerly to see what Lee will do first. All of a sudden, Mai's been hit in the throat, and Yuri winces a little before recovering. "Whoa, this guy's a bit tougher than I thought," She mutters to herself. "But I can't let that stop me! Nope, I've got potential students to show awesomeness to!" She grins as she slaps her fist against her palm and looks up at Lee.

"Trying to show off, hmm? Don't quit your day job, OK?" Yuri sticks out her tongue. "I'm the one who's supposed to be doing showing off. The showing off of how totally radical Kyokugen is!" She looks to the crowd and gives them a thumbs up, before looking back at Lee. "Here, let me give you a quick demonstration!"

A few running steps later, Yuri is coming up on Lee with her right fist raising, intent on striking Lee in the stomach.

"Oh, am I showing off?"

That is what Lee coos as he raises the rose up. As she forces a smile, he just lets his come out naturally. As the fan comes, Lee Chaolan almost effortlessly side steps it, easily evading it with a side step. Unfortunately, Mai was following -up- that fan. As the second fan comes rushing in, Lee Chaolan is caught in the spin, knocked backwards roughly by the follow through with only the slightest of a gasp. He has to fight to keep his footing, the bruise building on his handsome face.

But the rose was unblemished.

"Well done. I can see the wisdom and understanding of a true ninja warrior~" He manages to catch the swift jab to the stomach with the crutch of his elbow, able to let his arm catch most of the impact. Eyes twinkling, he looks aside at Yuri. "And that Kyokugen art really is impressive. Maybe you could come by my office some time for a private demonstration... for business purposes, of course." He sneaks a wink at Mai, before swinging his leg around, straight for Yuri's stomach.

And it wasn't a kick.

Should he connect, he would dig in his foot into Yuri's gut. And there, he would footstool himself up. And with the full-force of a Mishima trained martial artist, he would unleash a staggering roundhouse kick straight across Yuri's neck, to send her hurtling down to the ground. All with the cheekiest smile he can muster.

And possibly even an 'excellent~"

[MAI]
Mai practically flutters back away from Lee as part of her fan dance. Her shoes slide across the ground as she shifts back into her bobbing, bouncing combat stance. She raises a fan to her face to conceal her expression, giving Lee a coy look over the top of it.

The coy look disappears as Lee goes after Yuri this time, aiming to step up onto her. Mai cringes, still covering her expression with the fan.

"Are you okay, Yuri?" Mai calls, not waiting for a response. Instead, she flips one of her fans out, hurling it like a spinning shuriken. The fan cuts through the air and spins with such speed that it seems more like a solid blade than a one-sided fan. Mai, meanwhile, collapses her other fan and tosses it to her free hand before unfolding it again. When an employee makes eye-contact with her, Mai gives him a wink and waves the fan before turning her attention back to Lee once more.

Mr. Chaolan looks like he's got some great pain intended for Yuri. And Yuri doesn't want any part of it. "You can try, but you can't hit me!" Yuri calls out, throwing up her defenses, only to realize too little too late that she timed it wrong. She finds herself getting kicked, then roundhoused and sent to the ground. "Owwww!" Yuri cries out as she hits the ground in pain. She winces briefly, then gets up with one arm, the other one holding her stomach where she got kicked. She looks to Mai and mutters, "Don't worry about me!" Before turning her gaze towards Lee. "That wasn't supposed to happen! It's not fair!"

In pain and slightly out of breath, Yuri glares at Lee. "You just got lucky that time! I simply mistimed my defense! There's no way you can break the defenses of a Kyokugen practitioner like me!" She shakes her head defiantly. "It's not possible at all!"

Realizing that other people are still watching, Yuri blushes a little before shaking that off and adding, "You wanna see what I can do? Now it's time to bring out the true powers of my style!" Yuri brings both hands behind her back, summoning forth her chi, then shoots forth a large fireball aimed directly at Lee. Looks like there's more than one projectile for him to take on now!

Back and forth, Lee was keeping on the offensive.

His easy nature concealed a ruthless power only suggested by the likes of a true Mishima. He was, after all, expected to be Kazuya's rival. As he unleashes a staggering blow into Yuri, he doesn't even break a sweat, returning back to his feet with almost snake-like speed. He would be upon Yuri already... if Mai was not already catching his attention. Lee Chaolan could handle one projectile at a time with preperation.

But two?

When given a choice between the full force of Kyokugen, and a fan, he chooses to risk the fan. Slipping around the fireball, the fan clips him hard in the shoulder. The employee, staring at Mai, actually blushes. "Geeze, what's a guy like me..." He begins. Lee Chaolan staggers away from the pair, as all eyes move from Yuri... to Mai, making her the center of attention. A sea of employees.

And not a vagrant amongst them.

"You two make quite the team~" Lee Chaolan praises, rubbing his shoulder with the back of his hand. He had to hold on to the rose, still. "Have you girls thought about sticking together for something more permenant? You have a certain synergy that's quite impressive. It's like the Bogard brothers... or Ryo and Robert~" A taunt? Flattery? A suggestion? Lee Chaolan looks towards Mai, and then, back at Yuri. And then, he eases steadily back, leaning on his back foot as he reclines into his Hitman stance. He gestures to the girls, glancing at them with a smirk.

"C'mon~"

Mai's eyes flutter. She fans herself, but she keeps her face half-covered with the fan. She then suddenly snaps it closed, turning her attention back to Lee. "Oh?" she asks Lee. "You really think so?" Mai tilts her head. She looks over at Yuri quizzically, trying to gauge her response.

But then there's a flutter of Mai's clothing as she leaps into a spin. The kunoichi flips through the air, ending her rotation slightly short of Lee, then pivoting on her heel to swing around in an elbow strike toward his gut. "I'll keep that in mind! Yuri, what do you think?"

[YURI]
"Uh-oh," Yuri says as she watches Lee change his stance. She looks to Mai and says, "I'd be careful. Things like that are usually traps or something." She scowls. "But he's not gonna catch me off-guard! No way! No how! No nothing!" She taps her fists and adds. "I think we do make a good team, but we best be careful. He looks like he's got something up his sleeves!" She smiles a little as she watches Mai go in with another strike. "So we'll just be extra careful with him!"

Without missing a beat, though, Yuri suddenly dashes at Lee, attempting to deliver her own unique version of the Dragon Punch, albeit with some custom touches like spinning around and giving a thumbs up after landing... assuming she lands safely!

They took the bait.

Standing idle, his attention locks on both girls, watching is an aloof presence. He even tilts his head at Mai's own coy flirting. She -would- make an excellent Violet Girl. Of course, a girl like that has too much spirit, too much ambition... alas. As Mai comes in with a flip, he was already adjusting his footwork. He catches the elbow strike as it comes in, deftly tucking the rose in the notch of her ear with a grunt. Guiding the woman around her, that meant Yuri was in tandem. As the uppercut comes, the executive brings his other arm across, deflecting it upwards with a second grunt. Two attacks, one by one. He gives a wink towards Mai as both fighters recover..

And then he explodes forward.

It comes in a flash, a blink of an eye. The speed of Lee Chaolan comes hurling out with a staggering jab... aiming past Mai's head. There is an audible crack at the pure speed of it, but it connects... nowhere. A forward kick comes, actually aiming to connect, and Lee Chaolan continues the frightful offense, aiming to drive Mai further and further back, towards the gazebo. After the forward kick comes the spin into backfist, followed by a second backfist which comes short. A strong snap kick lifts Lee into the air, and Lee Chaolan goes to finish by lashing his other leg up, to seize Mai around the neck (where he had already kicked before, in fact...) with a scissor takedown, to smash Mai right into the gazebo, right in the bench he was idling on earlier...

Before breaking away into a backflip.

Mai inhales as the elbow strike is blocked. Even as it hits Mai initiates a withdrawal, back stepping fluidly away from Lee. As he winks at her, she blinks. Mai, however, has no time to dwell on it as Lee goes on the offensive. The first punch intentionally goes wide...but Mai swings her head away anyway. It is far from the last hit.

Mai blocks a kick with a kick, but the impact rattles (and bruises) her forearm. Mai brings her collapsed fan to block a punch, pressing the bar against Lee's forearm. Mai moves with surprising speed, matching blow with block. The upward kick smacks Mai's fan out of her hands and into the air, leaving Mai open! This means the last hit connects solidly, then Lee slams Mai down onto the bench, which collapses on impact. Mai rubs her backside and the back of her head when she climbs out.

"Ow..." Mai says, "If you trying to seat me, I'm afraid the bench is out of commission..." Mai suddenly rolls forward, plants her hands, then handsprings toward Lee. She spins into a drop kick, aiming to crash into Lee's chest...

...and if she connects, she follows up by shifting position and also crashing into Lee with her backside, intending to bowl him over into a seated pin.

"But if you insist I take a seat..." Mai teases.

[YURI]
So it appears Lee's defenses are just as good as she thought. Not exactly breakable, but then again, she was boasting about that earlier herself, so she shouldn't say anything. Instead, as she recovers, she says, "Looks like your guard is unbreakable, hmm?" She hmmphs. "I suppose you think you're all that, but don't get too cocky! I've still got a few things up my sleeves!" She chuckles as she realizes she has no sleeves to speak of really, but that's aside the point.

"So, let's keep going, shall we?" Yuri steps carefully towards Lee, having watched Mai block his attack, and then attempts to deliver a foot sweep style technique towards him. "Have a nice trip!" She adds, grinning widely.

Lee Chaolan had been out for blood.

For all his elegance, his grace, his charm, he was a brutal fighter. After unleashing a fiercious assault, he was almost ready to move from Mai to Yuri, and bring an end to the Kyokugen charm with but a single touch. For Lee Chaolan, it was all sealed up.

But then, as Mai arms herself.

Lee Chaolan looks to see as aims both of those cannons straight at him? Lee Chaolan can only grip his heart, his meat. The passion of such a well-shaped pillar of femininity... Lee Chaolan was a man, how could he refuse? Somewhere, in the distant future, Andy Bogard would look at this moment. He would it through the haze of a beer bottle. And he would know then what he missed by avoiding a woman like Mai. And how easy it was to lose it to a man like Lee Chaoalan. As the wild peach comes rippling out?

Lee Chaolan can only endure it.

Taking the blow full on, Lee Chaolan staggers backwards, straight into the sweeping leg of Yuri. In the heat of the moment, between bottom and foot, Lee Chaolan could have hopped over. But how could he miss out on an opportunity to be brought down to the ground, by such a beautiful specimen? Thus, Lee Chaolan hits the ground, pinned down underneath Japan's Most Beautiful Peach, the finest specimen of peach meeting Japan's most suggestive fruit. And how does Lee Chaolan respond? How else can he respond, as he lays pinned under the weight of Mai's understanding.

By flashing a single thumbs up from underneath both Mai.

"Oooooh~!'

"Excellent~!"

"Nice, Yuri!" Mai calls as she moves in with the trip. Afterwards, Mai lands heavily on Lee, pinning him temporarily with her vast understanding. Still seated, Mai, shifts and crosses her legs. She dips a hand into her bosom and draws another fan, which she taps against her chin. She beams brightly for the cameras, but then notices Lee's thumbs-up.

"I'll take that as your approval of my Shiranuiryu Ninjutsu, Mr. Chaolan?" Mai says, eyeing Lee. She reaches back and flips the tail of her uniform up before swinging out a leg and twisting on one foot to move back onto her feet. Once she lands, Mai flips the fan open, flutters it, then raises it to her face demurely. Even has she does, however, there's a shift going on; thwle subtle focusing of chi as Mai assesses Lee and plans her next move.

"Of course, that technique was my own invention. Perhaps the next should be more traditional?"

Yuri gives a thumbs up to Mai and a grin. "That was totally awesome!" She grins as she notices Mai taking a seat and pulling out another fan, but scowls when she sees Lee's thumbs up. "Oh, stop it, you! You're just flattering her I bet!" She shakes her head and hmmphs. "Whatever!"

Stepping back a little, Yuri notices Mai focusing on her fan and senses the chi coming out of her. "Sometimes, the best choice is not to do anything!" She says as she takes a few breaths to put herself back into the fight.

"Please, if we were being traditional, I would be proposing to you now~" Lee Chaolan responds, standing back up again. "But I can tell your heart belongs to another~" Lee Chaolan adjusts his apron, his suit. He actually winces as he does so. "Ah, my old bones can't handle as much as I used to. You girls may have to slow down a bit on me." He nods firmly at Mai, before shaking out the stiffness "Now, if you excuse me, I am going to make a little trouble with Yuri~"

And Lee turns his attention on -her-.

Immediately, Lee Chaolan unleashes a high kick. Drawing it back, he brings out a low kick. And then... a kick to the mid-section. "As for you, well, if you like I could flatter you. But I worry that your daddy might be a little put off." "I prefer my women a little more... developed. Mature, if you will." Lee Chaolan doesn't stop those kicks. The kicks keep coming, high, and low, and middle, unstopping, unyielding, unending. An infinite chain of kicks, with a steady rhthym. Yuri might be able to break out of it...

If she could catch the rhythm

[MAI]
"Oh my," Mai says, fanning herself, "such a charmer and a gentleman. I'm afraid I can't take it easy on you though. I have a reputation to uphold." Mai watches as Lee descends on Yuri with a flurry of vicious kicks, a veritable orchestra of firm, one might say.

"Aww, don't be mean to Yuri!" Mai protests, snapping her fan closed and pointing it accusingly at Lee. It's then that she snaps into action by breaking into a low run toward Lee, her body low to the ground as she leans far forward. It's not until she's practically on top of Lee that she changes course--and shoots straight upward with a flaming, sweeping kick!

Yuri can't break out of it, but her defense doesn't break either. She manages to throw up her guard against Lee's incoming attacks, no matter how fast they seem to be coming. "Yah! Hah! This is nothing!" She comments as she knocks away his attacks. "My father did worse than you!" Once the attacks finally stop, Yuri shakes her head and tsk tsk tsks. "That wasn't your best, I know it! Otherwise you would've knocked me down on my bottom!" She slaps her rear teasingly. "Too bad you failed! You're not that cool are you?"

And then, as if to emphasize her last statement about being knocked down, Yuri steps towards Lee... then attempts to bounce into him with her bottom first! Is she teasing him or just rubbing it in? Who knows?

As a matter of fact, the attacks don't stop.

Not until Mai makes them stop. As Mai remains flattered, he was content with keeping the pressure on. "You are being quite rude to me, Yuri. I think you'll find it a mistake to be so rude to me~" He says with a warning, as the kicks continue. As that fan is pointed, however, he finally breaks the relentless assault, dropping his leg down to shift his attention. With precise footwork, he manages to leave an opening for a great -badonk- from Yuri, nearly sending him into another pin. Fortunately, Yuri's strength of understanding is not as overwhelming and complete as Mai's so at the worst, Lee only gets a brief temptation and the wind knocked out of him... just as Mai comes sweeping on top of him. He holds up a single finger.

"One moment Yuri~"

And he slips right by Mai, an instant before she connects. He fed the feint just long enough, enough to be dangerous: a split-second too early, and Mai might have abandoned the attack. A split-second too late? He would have been singed quite unsatistfactory. He might not show it, but he only has one, maybe two badonks left for him.

He would have to be cruel, if only to be kind.

His legs were already snapping forward, unleasing a blur of kicks shooting up wards in a rapid machinegun fashion, he wouldn't even let her hit the ground first. "Such concern for your partner." He comments, before finishing the assault with a staggering round house kick high to low, to send her straight down with a kiai shout.

"Are you sure you two haven't met before now?~"

Mai's flaming flip kick flies up, up, and right past the sidestepping Lee. Mai looks down at Lee onlg to see him flying up in hot pursuit. She goes to block, but she turns just a /little/ too late. Lee's kick slams into her back, causing her to bend around it. Another kick hits her left side, then one hits her in back, then the right. When the final kick slams her back down, Mai crashes down like stone, smashing through the canopy of the one of the tents.

When she emerges, Mai is much worse for the wear. Her hair is mussed and her face is scratched and starting to bruise. "Oww," Mai protests. "That was impressive, but I have a few tricks of my own!"

Mai kicks off the ground with such speed that she seems to simply blur from point A to B. She then opens by kicking off Lee, launching herself upward. She twists in midair, snapping her fan in between her teeth. She then seems go kick off the air, diving back down into a palm strike. She disappears again, moving in a blur to strike Lee from the side with a knee. Another blur follows, then a knuckle strike. This continues in a flurry of motion before Mai darts away, landing with a thump.

And then it becomes clear: each strike left a lingering ember of chi. Mai slips her her fan from her teeth, flipping it open in a wide, sweeping flourish that causes her chest to bounce dramatically.

"Nippon Ichi!"

The embers explode into a pillar of fiery chi. Will Lee escape?!

[YURI]
Meanwhile, Yuri can only watch as Mai gets hit, and while it looks quite painful, Mai still seems to be in the mood to fight. But Yuri's really unhappy now that she's seen her ally take a huge hit like that. Yuri scowls and clenches her fists. "All right, now I'm really mad!"

"You dodged one of my fireballs before, but could you dodge THREE of them?" Yuri asks as she starts to focus her power. "I dunno if even YOU could handle it!" She summons her power more and more. "But what do I know?" With one final summon, Yuri throws forth not one, not two, but THREE huge fireballs in succession at Lee!

"Oh, show me those tricks~"

Unfortunately, or maybe, fortunately, the girls do show their tricks. As Lee balances between Mai and Yuri, Mai begins her strange, intricate assault, with the flying flames furious burning in long arches. He would escape; as the fires burn, he doesn't find it impossible in his years of experience. But the trouble was -Yuri-, who was unleashing -her- most powerful technique. Fireball after fireball comes out, and all it takes was for one to connect before he could escape.

And he was locked in place for the explosion.

The other two fireballs come, but it was well past his point. He was cooked. Lee Chaolan explodes upwards, his suit in singed tatters. Remains of the suit fly all around, his clothing was absolutely destroyed. Except, of course, the apron. Clad in only the apron, he collapses back on the ground, quickly rolling over into a sitting position. And there, with great effort, he throws up both of his hands.

"Yield! I yield!"

He says, sitting down on the grass, clapping his hands. "Ha ha ha! Wonderful! What an incredible display. I say, you girls make quite a team..." And then, he fires off the thumbs up

"Excellent~"

With no immediate retaliation, Mai lingers in her pose for a few moments. The flames continue to burn briefly before disappearing with supernatural effiency: they disappear just as suddenly as they appeared in the first place. Once Yuri follows up, there's no escape. Mai smiles to herself.

"Hurray! We did it. Nice job, Yuri~!" Mai praises, snapping her fan closed and giving the Kyokugen fighter a little clap. Mai then makes her way toward Lee, walking toward him with a hand on her hip and a definite sway.

"Oh," Mai points with her fan, "I'm glad that you sought so..you, ah, seem to have a bit of a wardrobe malfunction." Mai snaps her fan open and covers her face. "But otherwise excellent showing, Mister Chaolan." Mai turns her head to look at Yuri.

"Especially considering your opponents. Right, Yuri?"

[YURI]
Yuri takes a moment to consider her situation before jumping for joy and cheering happily. "We did it! We did it!" She says to Mai, giving a big thumbs up to everyone before looking to Lee. "And good job too, Mr. Chaolan!" She then looks to Mai and says, "Aw, it was nothing! He was barely as tough as my father in a bad mood!" She laughs.

Then Yuri turns to the spectators and says, "Ladies and gentlemen, THAT is the awesomeness of Kyokugen Karate! Check it out sometime! We'd love to have you!" She then ties her belt tighter before giving a double peace sign.
