Developed as an assassin and spy for the Illuminati, Twelve was entirely grown in a lab. He has no name, only a number. He is not human - indeed, nothing could be farther from the case. Developed using human genetics, Twelve was then tampered with as he grew, his body made malleable and shifting, his mind trained to control his shape. Told from "birth" that he is meant only to obey the will of Urien and Gill - if Gill still, somehow, lives - he has never had cause to doubt it. While his strange, shifting powers resemble the mutated, shapeshifting arms of K9999, Twelve's powers are far more versatile. He is able to change his entire body, although he possesses few chi powers. Twelve does not consider himself a person - does not, in fact, understand the concept of 'person' - instead viewing himself as a tool. He is, however, determined to be the best tool for his masters, and possesses a strong superiority complex and proud, arrogant nature - one of the exploitable weaknesses of the versatile, mimicking creature.
