Match of the Millennium

Mature is Rugal Bernstein's longtime personal secretary, working beside his other assistant, Vice. Of the two, Mature is the more cerebral and refined, but while she prefers to let Vice do the heavy physical lifting, she is no less deadly on the battlefield. An heiress to the bloodline of Orochi, she harnesses her superhuman speed and power to devastating effect, and is one of the most proficient assassins operating today. Among Orochi's descendants, Mature has the unique ability to soothe the Riot of the Blood in her fellow clansmen, calming them and making them more tractable; this doesn't always work, and requires a great deal of effort on her part. Because of this power, Mature cannot lose herself to the Riot of the Blood, even if she wants to do so. Secretly, she is one of the Hakkeshu, the eight most powerful servants of Orochi, and answers directly to the Heavenly King Goenitz. Goenitz tasked Vice and Mature with keeping an eye on his rival, Rugal, and they do so with the greatest discretion. Mature has no official position within the "R" Organization, but she is essentially Rugal's right hand, answering only to him and delegating tasks to his underlings. Notably, she despises pigeons. Nobody is really sure why.
